To get my one complaint out of the way:

The Young Avengers were not formed because "Hey there are multiple superheroes under the age of thirty"

They were formed because the Avengers were literally destroyed, and New York needed heroes

It was not this after school club

It was "there's so much villainy going on in this city, and Kang the fucking Conqueror is coming in three days. we are the only people with some link to the Avengers therefore we must stop this"

Eli became Patriot to honour his grandfather and fight crime

Teddy became Hulkling to protect people and figure out his identity

Billy became Asgardian/Wiccan to stand up for the little guy and to honour the Scarlet Witch

Kate became Hawkeye to beat up bad people and save the people with powers

Cassie became Stature to honour her father and carry on his legacy

Nathaniel became Iron Lad as an attempt to stop his evil future from coming to pass

Vision became a Young Avengers to honour Nathaniel and the original Vision

Tommy became Speed to right his wrongs

It was never "you're under thirty, I'm under thirty, wanna team up?"

Ight chat seeing as we're hurdling towards the Young Avengers, and we have Ms. Marvel, Kate Bishop, Wiccan, Patriot, Stature, and Iron Heart. Besides Speed and Hulking, who else who do we think is gonna join the team/get introduced into the universe?

Honestly, in retrospect, phases 4 & 5 shouldn't have been setting up "The Multiverse Saga" but instead should've been "The Next Generation Saga."

Think about it. We got Eli/Patriot in FatWS and in the new Captain American movie coming up, Billy and Tommy in WV & Agatha All Along, Kate in the Hawkeye show, Cassie in all of the Ant Man movies and America Chavez in MoM, all we need is Teddy and we've got the Young Avengers.

We've also got Ms. Marvel and Riri as new solo heroes.

Setting up the Young Avengers would make more sense since all of phase 1 was setting up the OG Avengers and with how the YA get together in the comics, having the team set up after Endgame would make perfect sense!

Also would be way more simpler to set up then the multiverse

i think the thing i hate most about how the MCU is going about the Young Avengers is that it's robbing all of them from their connections to each other, by having them already being (and practically complete) their arcs without each other

So these are my aesthetic boards for my version of the MCU young avengers (which making those is apparently my thing now lol). It's sort of an AU, but it's also part of the plan in my head for the MCU for the next like ten to fifteen years (don't judge me, I'm crazy). These are their ages as of 2026 and I tried to make them as MCU accurate as possible. Obviously they age on my little timeline. Also I know Alex's comic pictures is actually James Roger's from the comics, I just needed a photo. Also also I know the things with the twins is confusing, but it's not really that important. I can explain if someone really wants to know though.

I can also drop more info on all the characters if anyone wants that. The timeline too.
