I made a clone wars timeline to combine all of canon and legends into one cohesive and somewhat manageable timeline, mainly for fanfic and ttrpg purposes but I thought people might like it, it has a full workout of the galactic standard calendar and has precise(ish) dates for events (mainly republic commando) but I want as many people as possible to be able to see it and hopefully enjoy it
You can find it here:

I think sometimes people forget just how old Alexsandr Kallus is.
Star Wars Rebels: The Visual Guide, which came out during season one, refers to him as “late 30s.” Season one of Rebels is set 5 BBY; if Kallus is 36-39 then, that puts his birthdate at 41-44 BBY, and makes him about a decade older than Kanan.
The Republic fell in 19 BBY. Kallus would have been 22-25 years old. The Clone Wars started in 22 BBY. Kallus would have been 19-23 years old. Academy service starts at age 16. Unless Kallus was a very late bloomer, it is extremely likely his recruitment and training happened not under the Empire but under the Republic.
I know Wookieepedia says “Kallus attended the Royal Imperial Academy on Coruscant, the main campus of the new regime's military training program,” but its source for that is the comic “Kallus’s Hunt,” and I have the comic right here and it never says that. Kallus talks a lot in the comic about what it means to serve the Empire and Imperial justice, but when he’s discussing his backstory with Jovan, it’s “We arrived on Coruscant and graduated from the main academy at the same time.”
Not “the Royal Imperial Academy”; “the main academy.” We know from the High Republic books that there has been an academy on Coruscant since at least the High Republic era. There is no particular reason to believe from this comic that the academy was under Imperial control at the time Kallus attended it, and in fact his backstory with Jovan (they were friends at the academy, then had a philosophical difference later in life about what it meant to serve the Empire) makes a lot more sense if the “serving the Empire” part comes after their time at the academy together.
The other time Kallus references his academy days is in “Through Imperial Eyes,” when he asks Yularen if he remembers him “from the academy,” and Yularen says “Of course… I keep tabs on all my star pupils.” Again: “the academy.” Not “the Imperial Academy.” And we know from Clone Wars that Yularen’s career starts as a Republic Navy officer; why assume he was teaching Kallus under the Empire? Given how busy Yularen was in the early days of the Empire, it makes a lot more sense if his time teaching at the academy predates the Clone Wars. You know: back when Kallus was the right age to be at the academy.
Tl;dr: like Yularen and Tarkin, Kallus is probably a former Republic officer who stayed to become an Imperial officer after the change of regime. His intensely pro-Imperial feelings in early Rebels don't come from being indoctrinated from childhood; they come from having served under both the Republic and the Empire and concluding (or convincing himself) that the Empire is better. And I find that much more interesting as character backstory.

i did it. i made another timeline.
Tumblr media
this time it's about the disaster lineage! though, surprisingly, making this was less of a disaster than i had expected. i was consistently able to find dates and ages for pretty much everyone. comes with the territory of being related to the main characters i guess lol
not going to make an entire essay this time - this is all basically canon anyway (apart from the Feemor thing but HOW ELSE IS HE SUPPOSED TO WORK) - apart from rael and qui-gon's ages. all i did was take qui-gon's d.o.b. and give it to rael and then give qui-gon a new d.o.b. based on the fact he was taken on as dooku's apprentice at 12. simple. literally everything else had a year or age to go by, i had so few problems it was beautiful.
i think i have written down every main event related to these folks but if i've somehow missed something please do tell me and i will fix it!
.
(i am still taking timeline requests if you would like to see others)

STAR WARS Chronological Order.
STAR WARS ORDER.docx
A few years ago I went through every episode page on Wookieepedia and put every episode of STAR WARS into a chronological order. It was mostly because The Clone Wars is not chronological, but then I kept adding to it with every new show.
I will continue to update it as more series come out.

The complete Legend’s synopsis on Han Solo’s Backstory and Lineage :)
———————————————
Everyone has a depressing backstory, including Han!
@stealingpotatoes you awakened and something in me, I don’t blame you if you don’t read this all it basically became a research project
Yes Han is allegedly related to Corellian royalty, Berethron e Solo. One account says he was King and Prince Admiral of Corellia who helped build a democratic government system. The other says he was King of Corellia and he was seen as a lunatic who pushed against the democratic transition. The first account is what is on his official fandom page and is what is used in the more recent book “The Courtship of Princess Leia” (my favorite book) but Han’s bloodline was also mentioned in “The Paradise Snare” so I will have to double check the book to see if their was a retcon.
The reason why the relation is alleged is because a man by the name of Korol Solo (Han’s great grandfather) claimed to be the descendent of King Bretheron, but he was thought to be a pretender and hung for his crimes. The books make it unclear if Han is actually related to the King or not and they never outright answer the question, but most people assume that he is. Han’s grandfather Dalla Solo/Suul also known as Dalla the black was an infamous pirate, notorious kingpin, and famous murderer. Some times Han’s Grandfather is referred to as Denn Solo and it is assumed Denn was Dalla’s public identity. Also Dalla’s illigetament grandson is this really annoying new republic politician and president of the Alderaan Council named Threkin Horm, whom I despise. Han and Threkin actually hated each other, and had no clue that they were related until C3PO figured it out when he was researching Han’s lineage. 3PO revealed this to Threkin after Threkin had publicly disgraced Han’s grandfather, revealing to him, that his own grandfather was the same person.
Anyway, Han’s parents were Jonash Solo and Jonash’s wife Jaina. (Where Jaina got her namesake) It is believed that Dalla changed the family name from Solo to Suul to separate them from Korol. So Jonash was born as Jonash Suul and later, changed the family name back to what it was originally. What happened to Jonash and his father is inconsistent. Most accounts claimed That Jonash and his father (being referred to as Denn) were kidnapped by pirates when Jonash was an infant. And Jonash survived and fathered Han. But another account claims the family was attacked by pirates, so split up. Jonash’s father (still being referred to as Denn) took Johnash, and his wife Tira Gama Solo took Jonash’s twin sister, and the family was never reunited.
Jaina’s story and lineage is unknown.
Han has a little memory of either of his parents, as he was orphaned at a young age. his first distinct memory was being alone at a Corellian space port around the age of two. (if you look at Jonash’s page on Wookieepedia it says Han was orphaned at seven, that is incorrect, I read the book, he was two) He has vague memories of them, mostly his mother, but a lot of them he blacked out, as they were too traumatic, and to this day he does not know what happened to his parents.
he was picked up from the space port by gangster Garris Shrike, and basically turned into a child slave. He would either be sent on pickpocket or begging duty, and he would have to bring a certain amount of money or merchandise back every day. As he got older he would be sent to break into houses and steal things as well. And if he didn’t do what he was told he would be severely punished. One of the punishments mentioned was Devaronian blood-poison, which was caused by this gem Garris had on his ring, if the gem came in contact with the skin, it caused excruciating pain, and if it got in contact with the blood stream, it would release a poison, causing you to be really sick. Making it a popular torture tactic. This punishment was only used in extreme cases, but I do believe Han said it was used on him at least once. Other punishments included physical beating.
Anyway Han’s mother figure was Garris’s cook Dewlannamapia or Dewlanna for short. She was a wookie and that is how Han learned the language. We love her, she is Han’s mother, enough said. She was actually the one that figured out Han’s last name because she beat Garris in game of cards so he had to tell her. She cared for Han. She made him learn to read and write and study all subjects, even though he wasn’t allowed to. She took him to the medic when he was sick even though Garris said no, and it was a good thing as it turned out, he was really sick and probably would’ve died.
Because Han could read and write it actually gave him an advantage because most of Garris’s child slaves could not, so Garris would take him on these elaborate con schemes, where they would pose as a wealthy family and he enjoyed those because he got to go to school and he liked math and science and the temporary friends he made during that time, even if he was lying to them. This is where he meets Gram Bel lblis a prominent legends character, and Han becomes a sort of fan boy. Also these con schemes would often involve him flying in swoop races. (essentially pod racing but different, I believe faster and you don’t have to be as small. This sport is canon now as they show it in bad batch season two) and he would always win those
There was this one time where he used his last name to find out that he had living relatives on Corellia, so he ran away and found they were super rich. His Uncle Randil Sal was deceased, but he met his aunt Tiion Sal-Solo like once, but she was mentally ill and when she saw him she instantly started crying, possibly due to Han’s resemblance to her twin brother, as she had never knew he survived the kidnapping by the Pirates. so his cousin Thrackan Sal-Solo took him away and refused to let him see her again. And his cousin was crazy. He would like throw rocks at small animals because he thought it was fun or something and he physically and verbally abused Han And Han had to follow every one of his demands. I think at one point he threatened to like cut off Han’s ear. So Han attacked him and demanded He tell him what he knew about the Solo family. When Thracken answered Han calmed down allowing the older boy to subdue him and lock him in a closet where he was for three days before Thracken turned him back over to Shrike who was definitely not happy that Han had run away.
Tracken and Han end up having a lifelong Feud, as an adult Thracken becomes an imperial and also starts a human supremacy group, I don’t make this shit up.
Anyway, when Han was 19 he planned an escape from Shrike, but he got caught and he was going to get shot, but Dewlana took the bullet for him and died in front of him :(
and then he escaped and started using the alias Vykk Draygo. he became a pilot for this weird place that was a spice mining facility in affiliation with the hutts, and all of the workers were part of a cult were the people in charge of the facility would get them addicted to these pheromones so they would worship them, and wouldn’t leave. it’s a long story he basically just wanted to get enough money to join the imperial academy and then he swore to himself that after that he would never do anything illegal, and he’d live a respectable life.
He becomes friends with my beloved Muuurgh his co pilot on the job, I love him he’s such a precious boy. And also falls in love with one of the girls that was in the cult, Bria Tharen and he rescues her. They apparently have a child, but Han does not know until after he’s married Leia and this child is nowhere to be seen so I am assuming the child is dead. if you Google said Child you can’t find anything there isn’t even a name. But It Is is clearly stated in “Tattoine Ghost,” That this happened, Bria is name dropped and everything.
But back to the story, they went to corsocaunt and they planed to get married, but she snuck out in the middle of the night because she said he deserved better. she left him enough money to join the imperial academy. She later joins the rebellion and she committed suicide when she was captured rather than let herself be interrogated.
Han then uses the money to get himself an identification card, and change his retinal patterns so he could change his identity and get through imperial retinal scans (yes, he had plastic surgery on his eyes). And then he ended up meeting shrike again and killed him out of self-defense, using shrikes body to fake his aliases Death, which did not last very long I’ll be honest. And then he adopted his last name officially, joining the imperial academy as Han Solo. (he actually got to keep his real name because he’d done everything else under an alias)
unfortunately the next book skips over his imperial days and only addresses it in flashbacks but basically he was the top pilot, top of his class, he was on a ship that was ferrying wookie slaves, and there was a slave rebellion, and his commanding officer told him to kill Chewbacca and bring him back his skins so instead Han shot the officer (on stun) and helped chewie escape, which caused him to get dishonorably discharged from the imperial navy and blacklisted, forcing him to become a smuggler out of necessity, and Chewbacca refused to leave due to the life debt so they eventually became what they were in a new Hope
since honestly none of this interferes with canon aside from the Solo movie which I dislike this is the only backstory I can see for Han personally so I like using it in my sequels writings about Kylo as well, but of course, in Legends, Han marries Leia about eight years after return of the Jedi, and they have three kids, the twins Jaina and Jacen and then Anakin who is about a year younger. In legends Han said he wanted to have kids, because he wanted to be the father he never had. And that’s just beautiful. Unlike the sequels, Han does survive in legends, I’m not sure which is better. His life is very depressing.
I believe He’s still an orphaned slave in Canon too. It’s just less explored. Nobody ever talks about how terrible his childhood is.
That was way more detail than I originally intended

I was working on my TCW timeline behind my laptop, so lots of 22/21/20/19 BBYs there. You get the picture.
My boyfriend was watching over my shoulder and suddenly started ranting about how much he hated the concept of the BBY-ABY dating system, like, why would they use such an unpractical system? Why would you work with a 'year zero' to count to and from?
I looked him dead in the eye and told him we use the exact same concept. 2024 AD, my man. The BC and AD, the 'year zero'. He was slightly taken aback.
I love him so much he is so precious he thinks I'm crazy about Star Wars but I'm just crazy in general

Tumblr media
God throwback to the time me and my mum were on a 5 hour flight and tried making a timeline of Star Wars. We hadn’t seen Andor yet but it was the newest thing to come out. Literally everyone on the plane was watching it.
Black - Main timeline
Red - Main plot events
Green - Villains of each piece of media
Purple - Era divisions/which war
Enjoy this mess.

If they can't be bothered to proof read this shit themselves when there's a glaring mistake which is correct the previous page, then what's the point in buying it as a fan?
Did they have different people write each page? Just what the fuck is going on here

okay, so
the battle of yavin was 1,000 years after the ruusan reformation. 22 BBY (before battle of yavin), the start of the clone wars, is 978 ARR (after ruusan reformation). 0 BBY is 7977 CRC (coruscant reckoning calendar)
in 968 ARR (32 BBY, 7945 CRC) the clones are commissioned by jedi master sifo-dyas, who’s later murdered by count dooku.
10 years later at the start of the clone wars (978 ARR, 22 BBY, 7955 CRC) obi-wan kenobi is elected to the jedi high council, anakin skywalker is knighted and assigned ahsoka tano as a padawan (at nineteen!!!!!!! he’s like barely five years older than her, genuinely wtaf). obi-wan is now a high general, putting him in charge of the third systems army, the seventh sky corps, and the 212th attack battalion more specifically. this is also likely when cody gets promoted to marshal commander.
the war ends for years later, 981 ARR 19 BBY 7958 CRC. order 66 is executed, anakin skywalker falls to the dark side and massacres the jedi temple of coruscant, padme amidala gives birth to twins fathered by anakin skywalker, leia is entrusted to bail organa while luke is sent to live with anakin’s step-brother on tatooine, obi-wan kenobi and the rest of the remaining jedi order go into hiding.
19 years later, 1000 ARR 0 BBY 7977 CRC, the original series happens, yippee.

So basically, after some very helpful person on twitter sent me more details about the Star Wars in universe calendar, I recalculated my clone wars timeline a little. Very little has been moved around, but now you can look at the war through the lens of a 10 or 12 month calendar, and multiple galactic holidays are timelined too!

TBB Timeline Question…
We never really know for sure how much time has passed between seasons 1 and 2, right? I mean, Omega looks older, so it’s got to be at least a year? I’m trying to figure out the timeline from when Howzer was arrested in S1 to when he was rescued in S2. It’s got to be like 2-3 years, right?

In case you haven't heard, the Star Wars Timelines book started being sold and in it there was an interesting fact about Tarre Vizsla.
Originally, from the prievew we had, we were given the indication that Tarre made the Darksaber around 1050 BBY, however, in the book and new galaxy map poster, we were told that Tarre was adopted into the Jedi Order circa 1050 BBy.
so either we assume that the circa covers at most by 1100 BBY, it either means that Tarre was 70-ish by the time Coruscant was attacked (by then he was dead, unless he fought in the battle and perished by the hands of his House and had the Darksaber stolen) Or we can assume that he was either in early 20's or, at most, 18 when Coruscant was attacked.
which also means that we can either assume that a lot of what we were told about him was true or we can assume he was too young for it to have happened and a lot of things were either twisted over time or people credited him things he never did, like:
maybe he is Tarre Vizsla the second and who was Mand'alor and created the House of Vizsla was his Parent;
maybe he was the son of the Mand'alor and thus royalty and was meant to take over when he was knighted but never got to because he died before he was able to and was called Mand'alor by Mandalorians loyal to his family
maybe he never got even knighted (as we know that Vern and Anakin were exceptions to the rule, so we must assume that Obi-Wan being 25 and still a Padawan is the normal age) and only got the title post-mortem
maybe he never founded the House, and people simply say that he did because he was a born at that time and he was a cute baby so it's a joke that his cuteness was what led the clans to join and make the House of Vizsla
or the House of Vizsla was made by the members of the clan that didn't agree on stealing the saber and were allied by other clans, and only later on did the two versions of the clan vizsla unite again
So there's that.

People making ‘can’t wait for Anakin to kill them all jokes’ about Young Jedi Adventures really, really bother me. And not because the joke is unpleasant and gross, and not because grown men are triggered because it wasn’t made for them. But because I can do basic maths.
The destruction of the Jedi Temple happens in 19BBY and Young Jedi Adventures takes place in 232 BBY. Soooooo, unless Anakin can time travel he ain’t getting near these kids.
If you see anyone making these jokes then don’t take them seriously. These people are clearly FAKE STAR WARS FANS who have never actually seen Star Wars.
Thank god we have Young Jedi Adventures to inspire a generation of Real Star Wars Fans.

On the Kryze Sisters now Broken Timeline
Today's Mando episode and Bo's actress saying she was born ca. 35-40 BBY completely broke the Katan sisters and Mandalore civil war and the whole Satine/Obi-Wan affair timeline.
TL;DR This is my mental timeline I'm deciding on. So 38-37 BBY Mission to Mandalore. Korkie... Happened... to be born 8 months later in 38 BBY. Adonai dies 41 BBY. Bo took the Creed in 42 BBY, months before was broke out. She was seven(I like that idea). So born 49 BBY, 8 years younger than Satine, 22-23 in TCW.
Like her actress states Bo is supposed to be 47-51 in ca. 10 ABY, so that places her birth somewhere around 41-36 BBY. For her to have taken the Creed with her father present, that likely would've been about 5-6+. So 36-35 BBY at the earliest.
However, Duke(So where do we get princess from?) Adonai Kryze died during the Clan Wars that was said to have taken place about 20 years pre-TCW so ca. 42 BBY, so way before Bo was even born, much less allowed. It was Satine being elevated to head of the clan that eventually lead to the Jedi being asked to send protectors for her but I feel like there was at least some time in between the two event. Like the war got super bad and there was some threats on her life.
And of course, Obi-Wan's mission was a year. Which could've been a bit longer, even. Or a bit shorter.
But even as the absolute max of the age range, the timeline is, Bo was born in 41 BBY at the start of the war. She takes the creed in 36 BBY. Adonai is killed 35 BBY. The extended mission is 34-33 BBY. Obi-Wan is his normal devoted to the Jedi self by 32 BBY.
It works, I guess. I just don't like it. It breaks too much. I'm sorry Bo but you have to be older than 51. You HAVE to. Like I want to keep a pre-39 BBY death date for Adonai and pre-34 BBY end date for the mission of Mandalore.
WAIT when does Korkie need to be born I forgot. 37ish BBY. Maybe 36 BBY. He's born about 8-8.5 months after the Jedi leaves. Long enough that his... parents... had no idea he was concieved when the Jedi left, if you understand my hint(Until they give me a hard timeline, that's my anchor).
TL;DR This is my mental timeline I'm deciding on. So 38-37 BBY Mission to Mandalore. Obi-Wan leaves early 38 BBY and Korkie is born 8 months later, passed off as the other random Kryze sibling's child. Adonai dies 41 BBY. Bo took the Creed in 42 BBY, months before was broke out. She was seven(I like that idea). So born 49 BBY, 8 years younger than Satine, 22-23 in TCW. That sounds... Right.
Good enough. Now if only they realized the havoc de aging Bo and giving her a childhood with her dad would do to the original Kryze.
