The 4th to last kerfuffle. The final 7 hour tournament. The longest in season 3. The second longest overall. A wham episode. An episode so huge that it needed Gaiden 5 afterwards as a breather. I have so many emotions right now
Mach 2 is possessed. Crimson is free. Peppermint is still not here. There’s like 3 things I know will happen that haven’t yet.
I thought 26 would be where the really big final plot would be truly set in motion. It had some stuff, but not too much. I thought 27 would be that. We had Prism at the end but that was about it. Red had more in it with the whole Dani thing, but then Purple and White were chill.
I feel extremely confident in saying that Orange will not be chill. I think something there is going to happen that destroys me emotionally and this is the point where I am actually going to be coming out an emotionally changed person and honestly I’m so ready for it
Anyways fuck yeah, Blue Raspberry and Spriteman are back again, hopefully Spriteman is not going to end up as fucked up as Icee

1, 14, 25 for J0hnathan :3c
1. Why do you like or dislike this character?
He's a fun and enjoyable character to hear and read in the series!! He's funny and I think his deal wrt whatever Dr. Order did to him is fascinating, and obvs I'm very invested in his relationship with Larry lol. I want to study him but also I just enjoy his presence in the narrative <3
14. Assign a fashion aesthetic to this character.
Uhhh I don't know many fashion aesthetics. I suppose cyberpunk would be fitting, if that counts? On account of Hacker
25. What was your first impression of this character? How about now?
Let's see... I don't fully remember, I don't think my first impression of him was very strong? It would have been in CPUK G2 (I hadn't caught up yet at that point) and he featured in the second piece of CPUK art I ever made, so I was definitely interested in how he dealt with Spriteman in that episode, but apart from that I don't really remember :P Obvs my impression of him now is. well. see above. I freakin love that guy he lives in my brain rent-free

Now im only categorizing Some modified pre-existing people for these classifications, because the context of how she's described to have worked with them implies to me the research she did using them was largely exploratory and as such much less goal-oriented. So this isnt really the most applicable to j0hn and larry, who it seems to me were mostly experimented on to test the limits of what she could accomplish in crafting and shaping life organic and inorganic alike without like. killing the subject. They were less expert labors of focused frankensteinien obsession to accomplish a specific vision and more haphazard early research hodgepodges. Additionally, i recognize some of these are probably a bit of a stretch. Like i said. 'kind of.' lol. and as nccts reveal she wanted to usurp prism and attracted Chartreuse instead with her fucking around, so her knowledge base on what god does what and how they exactly work was far from perfectly delineated to her. Anyway-
Crimson flavored:
Obvious ones, Crimsonaut and the Dimensional Bus, explicitly made to capture and contain interdimensional 'demons' (what crimson was thought to be at first) and traverse interdimensional spaces respectively.
Less obvious, but part of Riley's job and purpose is specifically noted to be interdimensional scouting and recruitment missions, specified as having been the one to collect, for example, Gamecube Controller from another world for putting in a tournament. (Less a distinct result of anything order did as far as i can tell, but riley is also notably disloyal and modified for stealth and surveillance, which also thematically connect them with crimson in a loose way. And how was crimson getting valid invites to kerfuffle to use as a bargaining chip in deals [as per Arbuckle] anyway. hrm. squinting at them)
The Carrots are described in their introductory episode as a psychically connected hivemind of living carrots for whom the death of any individual means little as long as the collective survives, and are described as taking a strong liking to Crimsonaut, hence the 'crimsonlets' (pikmin) as jay calls them at one point that follow the little fella around, a few stray carrots that hang around him protectively. Crimson, although we havent seen much of this in action and how it works exactly isnt entirely clear, does indeed have many selves interdimensionally.
The nuke suit may be a cold heartless machine but the only thing you could argue resembles a character trait about it is that it pretends to be more threatening than it actually is to decieve its opponent into backing off out of fear. Which. gestures at crimson's whole all of him
Chartreuse flavored:
The time machine and time stoppers. No duh lol. Built to piss her off enough to lure her in and damage her enough to make her vulnerable.
The clonebots! Described as aging at an accelerated rate, duplicates of other people altered by their circumstances. Alternate timeline selves (even chartreuse's own, by the initial justification of her fire and wind formes having been alternate selves who studied different elemental combat styles switching places) are described as 'timeclones,' different versions of the same person whose existence was altered by their timeline's circumstances, sometimes not by much and sometimes so dramatically as to be hard to recognize, not unlike the varying amount of difference between each of the clonebots and who they were based on.
Cobalt flavored:
My Grunk. As per the obvious, the god of life and death does not take kindly to raising the dead.
Subzero Amalgam. When paired with My Grunk, Subzero keeps the undead kid from decomposing, preserving his life by keeping things in stasis. Additionally, Cobalt is somewhat associated with Hell, whose warden is an ice dragon Cobalt is known to work with.
In a weird way, spriteman? in their only in-text interaction (still offscreen) to my memory, Cobalt lectures EBR about maintaining some kind of personal balance to prevent becoming 'overconsumed' by... something. EBR stopped listening because Cobalt talks too much boring style. But within the same tournament, in EBR's next fight, we see Spriteman transform because doctor order Hit the Relapse Button after he'd been doing SO good about keeping his cool and doing normal- which kind of scares blasp and which Order treats as his Superior form, despite losing himself in being consumed by his obsession with what he's 'made of,' conceptually. perfect spriteman is What Happens When You're 'Overconsumed' and that was The Goal for order, there.
And then theres machi. who is baby
I think its neat how, looking at Dr. Order's creations overall, you can kind of slot most of them into categories of which god's power she was making a mockery of/trying to mimic/trying to counter in her quest to usurp godhood that week? With the seeming exception of machiavelli. who is kind of just their own weird thing.

Lemon did not like Spriteman. He was annoying, and overbearing, and stupid. The only thing she liked less was him being gone.

Hey, I really want to watch CPU kerfuffle, is there a document that sums up the first 10 episodes so I can start at 11 and know everything important?
Funny enough, there actually is! Around the time of 10, I created a lore document that I would try to update with each Kerfuffle. I kinda stopped doing it around 11, which is the magic number for ya. However it IS 50 pages long (and a lot of the information is out of date). Ever since then, a wiki has been created which does a good job of covering many things, although since a LOT of characters return (some with a lot of Spoilers attached to them)
Here's the lore document and here's the wiki, but for the sake of brevity, I'll include a "brief" synopsis of Everything Important From Season 1 of CPUKerfuffle You Need To Know About So You Can Start On CPUKerfuffle #11 (under the cut)
So here's the Season 1 Synopsis. CPU Kerfuffle is a tournament series featuring Level 9 CPU's with their own names and distinct characters (this characterization is ramped up in Season 2 but one step at a time). Each tournament is a double-elimination bracket of eight fighters, and the winner of the tournament goes 1 on 1 against the current Champion of CPU Kerfuffle. The Champion is allowed to slightly alter the rules of the tournament to fit their style (for instance, when ICEE was Champion, he made Freezies appear occasionally) In the beginning, it was run by me in-universe and was a largely informal affair.
In terms of the Important Story Events, there aren't too many in Season 1, so before we cover those, let's introduce some character that might be important later.
-Squid Jenny: A disciple of the god Iggy Koopa. In her first tournament, she was presented as a FIERCELY loyal subject before actually briefly defecting from Iggy while also changing her name and gender presentation. She would later go on to return as a follower of Iggy, but with a new name and a new sense of personal agency. She says Trans Rights, obviously.
-Hamburger Helper: A Red Ridley who was the first Champion and held his reign as Champion for quite some time. Is married to a Ganondorf named Dadandorf and they share a son named Jimbo, who becomes Dark Jimbo out of teenage rebellion.
-Florida Man: A white coat Joker hailing from Florida, and a being of all the chaos that entails. He doesn't do much in Season 1, but keep an eye out for him in Season 2.
-Home MD: A doctor who wishes to find the cure for losing. Over the course of the series, he loses and regains his medical license.
-Spriteman/Perfect Spriteman: Spriteman is Just a Guy Who Really Loves Him Some Sprite! He won't stop talking about his favorite citrus soda! But....what happens when his obsession goes too far? He turns into a Piranha Plant, that's what.
-Patch-Man & Hoedown: Patch-Man is the owner of a large farm known as "Patch Farms", which is a place of bountiful harvest, although there have been some very intriguing farming techniques used there, such as creating a daughter that is also a gijinka of Corn itself named Corn on the Cob. He's married to Hoedown, who is secretly a member of the pirate crew known as the Red Kraken. Within Season 1, Hoedown is the only member of the Red Kraken in CPUK
-Captain Valentine: Just an overall cool dude and the face of the tournament throughout Season 1
-The Grunk: A Big Boy who can get pretty angry. He specifically joined the Kerfuffle after Hamburger Helper dissed his Tinder profile.
-Dantoinette: More accustomed to Soul Calibur, Dantoinette came over to CPU Kerfuffle to see how the other side played. She is.....very good.
There are more, but I want to keep this at least somewhat brief. So in terms of the relevant lore, here is the series of events that take place:
After a few tournaments of Hamburger Helper keeping hold as Reigning Champion, Iggy sends Jenny to see if Hamburger Helper is up to something. And it appeared he was, as he was building a strange machine.
Soon after, a fighter appears that simply goes by the name of "Crimson". And once he joins, an incredibly strange tournament takes place that includes splitting and converging of universes. The Guy from Spy Kids 3-D is there. There's a lot of confusion (and a lot of it gets kinda retconned? Only so much you can do when you improvise things lol), but it's discovered that Crimson is a sort of hivemind demon that can control other people at will while also holding some power over the different dimensions, and it's clear that Hamburger Helper is working for the Crimson.
On the ninth CPU Kerfuffle, we approach a Season Finale, preparing for things with a set of round robin preliminary rounds. And those are eventful. Home MD loses his doctorate from how badly he's beaten, Captain Valentine becomes possessed by the Crimson, and The Grunk is actually found DEAD, killed by the Crimson.
After this tournament, there is a hiatus. In-universe, I decided that having all this negative PR was way too much to handle, leading to a lack of tournaments and leaving the battlefield in an almost Mad-Max-Style chaos for months. Amidst the Chaos, the fighters all create four factions, or "Teams", which I'll talk about later.
At the end of this haitus, Iggy himself steps down from the heavens and uses an enormous amount of his power to greatly weaken the Crimson, ridding most of its existence, but still unable to turn Captain Valentine back. In light of coming back AND saving the world a little bit, Iggy becomes the new owner of CPU Kerfuffle, bringing back my friends and I simply as commentators in-universe. Squid Jenny becomes a field reporter to help the tournament run and to help the audience see the discussions happening between fighters. Another person working for the tournament rather than fighting anymore is Home MD, whose doctorate is restored after he manages to revive The Grunk from the dead.
This leads to the tournament titled "#Reboot". There isn't much that happens in this tournament in terms of lore, but Dantoinette becomes the Champion, which leads into Episode 11, which is where you'll be beginning. At that point in time, there are 8 different teams, which will be explained at the start of CPUK11.
Have fun!
