You are a “called out one,” and not by might, not by your strength, but by His Spirit you will always have exactly what you need to accomplish all He has called you to. Be brave and very courageous, because the Lord your God goes with you wherever you go, and He shall be your victory and your mighty God who saves over and over again!

If you will reach true spiritual maturity, you must learn to overcome self (the great opposer of God) and anything that doesn’t match up with Heaven -- you will begin to truly discern the enemy, move in Christ’s authority, and learn perseverance in the fight of exercising the God kind of faith.

I’ve realized some people aren’t happy when you succeed because in their minds they are asking ‘why do they deserve it and not me?’ This response is from a place of low self esteem and self worth; questioning why you aren’t good enough for the good things. Whenever I say anything to my friends that is good I don’t expect them to jump up and say ‘hurrah!’ But getting a lukewarm response is disheartening especially to an emotional person like me.

It’s kinda just weird, that we can’t be happy for the other when we aren’t where we want to be. I know there are people out there though that will make me feel like they are celebrating with me. I’m trying not to hold onto this sadness that it invokes, knowing that the people I chose to be in my circle do not have room to celebrate and be happy for me.

I have always seen the horror of reality and now willingly choosing to always know the opposite exists makes me feel a little happier.

Please celebrate yourself even if others aren’t, every one of your big and little victories are worth being recognized and celebrated. Everyone is going through their own battles so don’t take peoples reactions to deeply, your victory is what matters.

as a follow up to the Kokiri Emerald conversation: I think I'm leaning on Link finding it back in his pocket after the jump back in time for Thralls in particular, that way I don't have to introduce the kokiris in the story and that simplifies the conflict (and even allows me to replace the McGuffin I needed for a specific moment in the story with the Emerald, which would make that moment so much more impactful). A fact that is always appreciated.
