Hello, friend! I was wondering what got you into Rain World? And maybe what campaigns or details about it that you like?

ohhh that's hard to say, because I knew about rainworld for a while but didn't get as into it until recently-

I think finding a few videos that explained some of the lore and context clues really helped me get interested, because initially I was having a REAALLL hard time trying to gather any information about the fan-works I was seeing online via any gameplay-

after getting a little morsel of information the dam basically broke through and I quickly grew to adore watching the complicated simulated ecosystem with it's silly little ragdoll sprites and beautiful scenery and ambience. That's not even getting into the attachment I started getting for the characters oml LTTM is so friggin sweet and i ADORE HER AAAA (T▽T)

but ye I already was interested for a while but the second I gained a teensy lil bit of understanding I was HOOKED XD

At the company retreat, one extremely drunk girl asked what my pronouns were. (Eventually, it took her a while to word the question.) After the whole conversation was done, she goes- "YEAHHH GURL, Get on with--with THY bad self! See what I did?? They/them/thy."

I was almost holding back tears from trying not to laugh as I told her yes that's great you nailed it honey. Thank you very much I am feeling the love.

i'm just curious bc i'm watching How to Train Your Dragon and i always forget how happy and calm it makes me feel. i mean, i did name my cat after Toothless the dragon. but i also love Lion King, that's my Disney comfort movie. and my Ghibli comfort movie is Spirited Away. watching any of these when i'm in a foul mood or my anxiety is high always helps 🥰 but i watch them just for fun too, not only when i'm in a mood. what about you?

What got you into Rise??

I was first introduced to the show by my IRL friends! They kept showing me memes and things that made me laugh and feel great, so I tried to watch the movie first, but the first scene scared me a bit because it was very emotionally charged and intense, so I decided to watch the show first instead XD

It's a found family trope show, and while most of the scenes are super silly, they're all very open about loving their family, and the emotional and vulnerable moments in the show are incredible. Amazingly, even the silliest and least serious episodes have details that all build up to these emotionally charged moments in the show, overall making them hit your feelings like a dump truck XDD

It's also chaotic and so crammed full of details and smaller jokes that you can re-watch it like 5 times and still find new things, making it interesting to watch regardless of already seeing it! That can overwhelm some people, though, so it's not for everyone I'll admit-

I could talk forever about why I love each individual character and say a whole buncha headcannons about all of them and sososo many theories omístars XD

but to wrap this up, I'll just say they're almost constantly spinning around in my brain like popcorn in a microwave XD
