i just needed to say something rq (nothing bad dw)

so I didn’t grow up with Danny Phantom, but recently ive seen a lot of stuff about it and wanted to start watching it! I’m maybe two or three episodes in, nothing much. Last night (at like 3 am), i saw art on pintrest that linked to tumblr and i was like “hmm i wonder what tumblr has for this fandom!”

the first fucking post i see is the dannypocolypse. never knew of it before now, and idk what part of my soul decided to get sucked down the rabbit hole of danny phantom fanart- but it led me to some of the funniest shit i’ve seen. i still have no clue how this happened or why it exists, but man am i happy for it

to give you an idea of what happens when someone has oc brainrot but barely any drawing ability: i have been using this loadout for the past week in tf2, only because i think Celerome would play using it... it has forced me to become good at hybridknight and i am happy.

jd does have older sibling syndrome just like raph, they might bond. over what i dunno. lol that would be a weird cross over. pfft, poppy trying to cheer up all the tutlres after the krang invasion offering them all hugs. raph would freeze since shes so tiny compared to him

this might help, though cricket does live alone in thw woods, cause the timeline is a little confusing. the bergens find the pop trolls and puts them in the troll tree. then the brozone break up happens, but they also dont make any known references to having been in the troll tree with the burgens. thats whats confusing about it. from there its kinda easy, grandma rosiepuff gets eaten, when i think branch is 7 (thats how old he looks but troll age is weird). acually now that i got this far no. no the timline is so fucked. because they used 20 years for both the brozone break up and the trolls escaping the bergens.

welp... scrap that. cricket can make friends with the creatures that live in the woods, if youve seen the cartoons theres tons of animal type creatures. like puffilo, theyre basicly sheep. bugs definitely should make animal comparisons. definitely gives off the vides of like gardening and has shelfs filled with herbs and plants. has like scrapbooks with how to make potions, not for bad things. and this kinda stuff is how he keeps his cool and feel less alone.

Oh he ABSOLUTELY tries to make friends with anything and eveything. I think since he didn't turn grey it was more of the genre change that was the visualization of like- lonliness and stuff, since bug's no longer a pop troll :D

Also Cricket does eventually go back, sort of like the brozone situation, but I'm not sure how it will play out :/ everybody probably thought it was dead tbh since no one heard anything from Cricket since he left ://// exept maybe Floyd LMAO

I imagine he'd try and visit at least once cause them being friends is imposrtant to me LMAO

also you're right the timeline is so fucked up but I'm not even mad cause this movie has been the best one so far i don't even care that it completely screwed the timeline over LMAO

Growing up I was never really happy with who I was

I could just feel how alien I am and that there's no real space for me

I wasn't normal enough to fit in, but I was too normal to be special

And I wanted to be like others, I wanted to be cool and easygoing and flexible and spontaneous like others

I still do

And I'd find myself looking at things, thinking "man, I wish I could like that thing too. People who like that are so cool" but I knew it wouldn't work out if I tried, because it'd be a lie

I knew that changing things about myself like that wouldn't do anything because it wouldn't be me anymore

Other people are cool, that's what I already know

So what I really wanted was to just be that

I wish I could be that chill artist who doesn't worry about perfection and can just draw a full piece in less than 24 hours

I wish I could be that cool blogger who makes the funniest posts and doesn't panic and freeze trying to respond to people

I wish I could be that confident, capable person that can change their plans on a whim, take the bus, party with friends, and have a job

But at my very core there was always a tiny speck of pride

I wanted to be all that, but I also wanted to be me. And if I change every single thing about myself, how I naturally express my joy, what I'm naturally interested in, then is that even me anymore?

I work hard to improve my artistic skills

I go to therapy to improve my anxiety and coping skills

I wonder what the difference is between me and other people

Whats the difference between me and people

Maybe I'll never see myself as a person

Maybe that's what masking does to an autistic person

But that little bit of pride I have in my identity, and that want to just be me and be free, that's what gives me hope

And I'll keep going

casimir is the crown prince, yet xe is still rather young–younger than alistair, and naive. his whole life it's been his parents pulling the strings, he was simply a puppet.

then theres alistair, a mere knight, loyal to casimir.

it forms this interesting dynamic where casimir doesn't really have any actual power, yet alistair sees him as an authority figure regardless, despite being older and wiser. something something casimir looks to alistair for guidance yet alistair treats casimir as if xe were a king.

Since it’s already November, I thought I’d share some scattered thoughts on Trigun Maximum on Rei Rei, Leonard and some story structure stuff 3:

Has anyone else noticed that the story structure, where Vash faces the Gun-Ho-Gun, almost feels like a story-driven video game? Each “boss” Vash encounters adds depth to the overarching narrative. Not only does each fight provide a new challenge, but each boss also carries a half of a coin, which becomes crucial in his final confrontation with Legato. This structured approach, where each member of the Gung-Ho Guns serves as a hurdle pushing our hero closer to the story’s endgame, really reminds me of a game level progression, with each boss fight inching Vash closer to his ultimate goal. I personally find this form of narrative progression quite compelling… Why the hell didint we get a Trigun story indie game yet I would pay for it if it’s well made.

Additionally, Leonard the Puppetmaster’s device in the manga looks suspiciously similar to the system of knots and the balanced central sphere that we see in Stampede when Zazie controls the Worms (see the Sandsteamer episode). Also he’s got a tiny winey Hitler beard XD.

The narrative is layered with various character tropes. For instance, the “extreme violence leading to a sense of numbness or ennui” trope appears repeatedly (Rei Rei, Legato, L&R) challenging readers to reflect not only on the story but on Vash’s journey specifically. As a 150-year-old alien who looks like he’s in his twenties, Vash himself is a walking contradiction—this trope alone could be an entire post of it self! (I have a feeling that something similar is said in Stampede, this stuff really entered my system didn’t it?)

Leonard, who has discarded his humanity out of grief, burying his past through suppressing his memories, is a fantastic example of how each boss explores different aspects of humanity. Each one of Vash’s opponents embodies a distinct human flaw or trait, providing the audience with a sort of philosophical reflection on what it means to be human.

Finally, I can’t help but find it hilarious that the only character who adheres to the “attack announcement” trope ends up with a bullet in his head.

And to top it off, he’s a roller-skating samurai! Only in Trigun …I love it.
