Can we talk about Velvette for a second because she must be either extremely terrifying or extremely manipulative or extremely competent or most likely all three.

Vox and Val must respect her to a pretty big degree. Vox, a religious cult leader who died in the 50s, got asked to do something by a woman that's 70+ years younger than him, and he listened even though he clearly didn't want to deal with Val in Ep2?! That same (most likely)misogynistic man was okay with that same woman representing him in front of all other Overlords in Ep3?!

On top of that, she lives with those two men. Can you imagine for a second sharing the same roof with Vox and Val constantly?! How she doesn't bat an eye that she lives and works with a well known abuser and a man who has cameras in every corner of the Ring?!

We need more Velvette in Season 2! That woman has to be one of the scariest beings in Pride! She made fun of the oldest Overlord, she stood up to the weapons dealer of Hell, not Pride, HELL and got away with it!

I give this mf a lot of shit (said with love obvi) but low-key they've made me feel so comfortable on this app and actually inspire me to post more often and actually put my thoughts out there and not give a shit what anyone else will think because they're people out there who will like what I post.

I don't think I am objectum in some ways. But I can absolutely tell you that adopting some of the communities ways of doing things has improved my life. It hasn't changed how I interact with my toys, I've always talked to them and loved them dearly. In fact one of my dreams is to be loved how I love them. With adoration and a feeling that me being there made things better. Remembering history together.

But I've started giving attention to other things. Like my dinosaur dress. It's my favorite dress and this new layer of appreciation makes me feel even more beautiful. This dress and I are already pretty now, and together we make a stunning team.

I thanked the trolley I rode for a tour yesterday in my head and patted the seat. I felt so great. I appreciate my brush for putting up with my messy hair and helping me keep it nice. My pin backpack is a longsuffering peach. I overstuff it with stuff far too often, but there hasn't been a problem yet. My coffee mugs are from all over America and now they could share stories. In my head I mean.

Magnets from different places now are not just a souvenir of that place, but have some of the mannerisms or soul of that place in them.

Life feels more alive when you thank the things that help you day to day.

I've always had a love for the physical world. I named the tree Tiny Tom at the school that taught pre-k to 1st grade. He was one of my best friends. (Yes I'm aware that's sad. I was a very lonely child all throughout elementary school) I talked to that tree almost every day about how big he was growing.

I've always treated the world around me with a different sort of love. Now that I'm reaching out to reconnect with the little objects and things in my world and my room, I'm finding so much joy in every day.

Try thanking your bag for carrying everything without breaking. Tell your clothing that both of you are cool looking. Think about the history that thrift store chair might have.

It doesn't have to be out loud.
