Straw Hats x Fem reader platonic! This just popped into my head after watching ATLA! What if S/O, whoâs mute, owned a pet messenger bird? No, scratch that, a pet messenger hawk? Sharp-looking, intelligent, and fast, heâs her pet companion that she takes care of sweetly and kindly. He can deliver messages to anyone around the world! Iâm surprised that One Piece didnât have a pet parrot, besides Karoo. HCs?
â
WITH A MUTE CREWMATE WHO HAS A PET MESSENGER HAWK! headcanons â
ââ featuring. the strawhats.
ââ cw. gn!reader. no pronouns used. platonic. mentions of your hawk fighting zoro and sanji lol. not proofread.
ââ notepad. this has been sitting in my inbox SO LONG. IM SO SORRY. i really hope this reaches the og anon.
accidentally crossing paths with the new rag-tag group of hotshot pirates that were becoming a thorn in the side of the marines was unexpected. becoming a trusted member almost overnight was even more so
you are welcomed with open arms by your new family. well, you and your vigilant and protective hawk that was always perched on your shoulder, ready to snap at the hands of your new and still unfamiliar crewmates if they got to get too close to you
luffy, friendly and touchy as he can be, seems to be your hawk's main victim of the pecking. he never learns
outside of steering clear away from your violent friend with wings, the straw hats do everything in their power to ensure you are comfortable. never will you ever feel left out with them
they make sure to always include you in conversations, even if you don't want to contribute to them
they learn other ways to communicate with you, whether it is handing you a pen and a pad to write on, or starting to learn sign language. whatever makes you the most comfortable
your crewmates have an unintentional habit of checking for you the moment you are no longer in their line of sight
nami is the worst about it. she can't even count the number of times she almost had a heart attack thinking you were gone because she didn't see you for more than five seconds, before smothering you in big sister hugs and scolding you to never do it again
franky is the second worst about it. the one time the two of you went on a mission to find supplies in a village, he got distracted and kept walking, not noticing that you stopped a while ago. when he turned around and you were nowhere to be found, he was losing it. he called for you all over the village before falling to his knees in despair and crying a river before you returned having already found the supplies. he swore if he wasn't already crying he would have cried tears of joy when he saw you again
the straw hats find your pet hawk and the bond that the two of you share is very cool. to demonstrate their intelligence, you write a letter to your family back home and send your hawk on its way. when the bird returns a day later with another letter when its journey should have taken them weeks, the straw hats are in amazement
every now and then they ask your permission to send letters to their loved ones, even though you've told them several times that they don't need permission
it was just getting your hawk to like them is a whole other thing
your hawk absolutely loves chopper and robin. when they are not near you, they are perched on the top of chopper's hat, watching the reindeer do his tasks, while feeding them snacks in between.
while with robin, your hawk is comfortable enough to snuggle into her lap and fall asleep as they do with you while she reads on the deck of the sunny. you're starting to think they love her more than they love you
but you need more than two hands to count the number of times your hawk has left a few of your crewmates full of scratches due to being irritated by them, mostly zoro and sanji because of their "stupid bird" comments
well what can you do, the bird has a mind of its own

There's a scene in One Piece where Koby is talking about his frustration and disappointment with the Marines as an institution, and Helmeppo tells him "Well, you just have to become some big shot and fix it all, right?" and Koby agrees with him, and that's got me thinking about how, in canon, Koby's endgame is pretty clearly going to be exactly that -- he's set up as not only Garp's successor but as the one who will surpass him. Koby's goal is to become so powerful and so influential that he's able to enforce massive reforms on The World Government's Entire Military, which is. No small task! Koby's motives are so selfless that it's easy to overlook that, actually, he's aiming for just as much power and prestige as the other top hitters. This man, like so many others in One Piece, is trying to swallow the sun, and it's been made clear that he's one of the few who has what it takes to actually succeed.
And that has me thinking about people constantly being surprised and confused by Zoro's loyalty to Luffy, because Zoro could be a pirate captain in his own right. People keep expecting him to be gunning for the crown, and we're told that if he did, honestly, he might make it! Zoro has the makings to be Pirate King, or at least to be a top dog, an emperor of the sea. People see his skill and his ambition and they assume, and every time he has to be like "Nah man, you got it wrong, my dreams start and end with that grinning rubber idiot over there. Yes, really."
and all of THAT has me thinking about Koby's Bad Day, and how hilarious it would be if Koby ALSO dealt with that on occasion. Technically he already does have experience as captain of his own crew (although being a captain in the navy isn't really the same kind of autonomy and freedom as a pirate captain, that's not Nothing!) and he certainly has the skills and the strength to get peoples' attention. However, unlike Zoro, Koby is very much Just Hanging Out. Like, Zoro knows he's hot shit, and it doesn't surprise him when other people point it out to him. He understands where the confusion comes from. He just corrects people and moves on. But Koby? If somebody just started assuming that Koby must clearly be the REAL captain, or that obviously Koby must want the Pirate King title for himself, I think Koby would explode. I don't think he'd know how to react. And I think it would be really, really funny.
Anyway I'm just sharing thoughts cause I'm on a reread. Thank you so much for writing this fic btw, easily one of my faves and reading it is always such a blast.
Man. My inbox loooves not showing me messages. Sorry to answer this so late!
First of all you are SO right, Koby would combust at the idea of being a contender for Pirate King. Where on earth would anyone get that idea?? Well, Koby, youâre a very powerful pirate with potentially the best observation haki in the entire world. People are gonna assume.
But of course Koby still mentally thinks of himself as a Good Boy, hasnât fully reconciled with the fact that he is objectively and inarguably a pirate, in a world where most pirates are back-stabbing scumbags. Heâs a member of Luffyâs crew, he is very proud to call him Captain! But honestly I think he sometimes forgets that theyâre pirates, since 90% of the time theyâre not doing anything illegal đ
Combine that with the fact that he chronically underestimates how strong he really is, and that he is Luffyâs most ardent supporter? Yeah the Pirate King comments would BAFFLE him.
Thanks so much for sending this ask! Iâm so happy you enjoyed KANGVCD enough to re-read it! It means a lot!

Hi. R again. It hasnât been long, I know. And I could figure this out on my own (forgive my pride, but I must defend it in advance; I am an adequately intelligent man), but, what was the misunderstanding of the flaw? English may be poor. Apologies again. I understand the rods. Their design, the problem(s) they posed⊠the technical, chemical, science, physics⊠I see it. The sociology, less so. What information were they (and by they, I mean anyone and everyone) missing? Were they prevented from knowing, or were (some of) them unimaginative? You seem to focus on the empathetic and humane. Thank you, again. Many thanks.
-R
Heeeello once again my lovely lovely Rodka! I'm sorry that this ask has been marinating in my inbox longer than the other ones, I had to find a free moment to get into this.
If you'd like me to find more things on this, get some more quotes, back things up with sources... I can do that. But I think the general consensus would be the same.
We have to take quite a few things into account to get the full picture.
The designers of the RBMK seemed to have known about certain flaws but failed to share that information with the people operating their very own reactors (if I had to guess, so that the staff wouldn't be, rightfully so, wary of the reactor itself while operating it - the last thing any new operator would like to hear is oh by the way, that huge thing you're operating? Oh yeah, it can explode. Or meltdown can occur. Or both.). And yet, even they seem to have overlooked certain aspects, and only learned about them after bad things already happened - think, Leningrad in 1975 - with this one everyone just went: Well. That's a bummer... Anyway. We won't tell people much of anything. That's nobody's business (it was, in fact, everyone's business) - and Chernobyl in 1986. And probably some others.
Now, by all accounts, the operators did not possess any knowledge about the flaws. In the control room itself there were a few key people who, in theory, should (would) have known about the flaws - if anyone, other than the people real high up, knew. The most crucial ones being:
> Dyatlov, as a Deputy Chief Engineer, with years of experience under his belt, being the author of the test program they were running that night.
> The two SIURs (Senior Reactor Control Engineers) from the fourth (Tregub) and the fifth (Toptunov) shifts respectively. If there's someone in the plant who should know all about the core and the control rods, it's them, that was their job.
Things get... interesting with the second SIUR, as according to Sasha Korol, his close friend, in Midnight in Chernobyl:
(...) There were also health checks, and security screenings conducted by the KGB. After one of these safety exams, Toptunov sat down with Korol and told him about a strange phenomenon, described deep in the RBMK documentation, indicating that the reactor control rods mayâunder some circumstancesâaccelerate reactivity instead of slowing it down.
I'm not too sure whether to believe it at all, but, alright, supposing that's true, let's say that during one of the many "examinations in the stationâs Department of Nuclear Safety" or the KGB checks, someone produced some documents for the future SIUR to read, something describing the control rod flaws. First of all: who would be in possession of such documents? The KGB most likely. Because if it was someone higher up from the station then... well, it'd be Dyatlov and he most certainly had not known.
And if that happened at all, it'd suggest that Toptunov either did not know how to apply this knowledge to operating the reactor or he was under the wrong impression regarding it - as in, maybe he believed, or was led to believe, it doesn't happen in XYZ situations, that it's an incredibly uncommon phenomenon, etc etc. But if Toptunov learned that from something or someone at some point, why hadn't seemingly anyone else? Tregub? Hadn't known. Dyatlov? Hadn't known. Any other operator? Had. Not. Known.
Hunter, how do you even know that?, you may ask. Well, simply because the "immediate" staff didn't know anything - they all met up while in the hospital, discussing and theorising about what might have caused the explosion. You'd think that if someone knew something like this could happen in some rare circumstances, they'd speak up about it then.
On the topic of the KGB being involved, actually... being a NPP worker was not a job you could have just... got. As far as I know, anything that was more complex than moping the floor (this is probably a great exaggeration but if your position was in control of anything then that would most definitely be the case) was possible only after passing more or less extensive background checks. The whole plant crawled with informants, according to the declassified KGB documents (if I remember correctly that that's where I got this info from). While power plants were not exactly the state secret, it's pretty much given that they wouldn't just employ anyone there. If you were to rely sensitive information such as that your perfect RBMK reactors aren't so perfect after all, I'd assume you could tell them that.
So, in conclusion: some things seemed to have been overlooked by the designers and scientist in charge (academician A.P. Aleksandrov, mainly - nobody touched him after, or before, the disaster because he was INCREDIBLY well connected and also approximately one billion years old and the Soviet Union sure did respect its seniors... but only if they were important enough) - either deliberately or simply because nobody bothered to entertain what would happen if [this, that or the other thing] - ignored certain aspects of safety for their own sake. That is: to make their design (and in turn, themselves) look good.
Remember: In Soviet Union there were no accidents because of faulty equipment. In Soviet Union accidents could only occur because of working personnel. (A.S. Dyatlov)

How dare your box be almost empty!
let me change that
NOOOWWWW IMAGINE WITH ME
ya hear me
our beloved red head captain as usual he pulled another all nighter in his tinker shop(is that what they are called... i feel like i am missing a word)
just hyperfocused on this new idea he has been working on and ain't no one in the crew capable to pul him out of there so they just let him be
tho now it's the dead of night no ones awake on the ship but our man is hungry he goes to the kitchen just to approach it to stand in the doorway watching as his s/o is making herself something to whilst singing and dancing around the kitchen
anf he just... eustass kid. exe has stopped working
this man is confused for a second because if there is someone else awake then it should be wire because he has night dutie... and it also seems like that his s/o is just... not noticing him so he decides to enjoy the show a bit before he walks in and kind of moves with you and around you... still not noticing him weirdly enough so he just gets bold and grabs a chunk of your half finished food and eats it AND FINALLY YOU NOTICE HIM (our boi got a little attention starved there)
aaaannnnnnddd that's where my brain stops
enjoy my brainrots although it isn't the college art au this time BUT WE CAN'T HAVE AN EMPTY INBOX
anyway hope you are having a nice and keep up the good work mami
-your au anon( yeah lets go with au anon heređ)
Surprise.. coming up
Hola, au anon :) ! I enjoyed a little writing session in my current stress period right now. Sorry for not posting more, I am currently working on 2 projects at the same time and still need to proofread a few one-shots. Please be patient.
- Kid x reader - my own OC -> Sova (Kidâs doctor) - 939 words; short OS this time - no smut but mention of it; threats from Kid (surprising, right?)
"Wha- ..Hey!", you looked at him surprised and didn't know how to react. This whole time you thought that you were alone in the kitchen and suddenly your boyfriend appeared out of nowhere. "If someone would have attacked us, you'd be screwed. I've been here for a while.", Kid spoke with a full mouth, trying to finish the part he stole so he could grab the other one before you took it. You realized his intention immediately and pushed the plate to his side of the counter. Kid looked at it a little disappointed, "Now it's not that appealing anymore. It's more interesting if you're not letting me have it." "Don't be a child.. just eat it and finish working, so we can go to bed.", you rolled your eyes and started to prepare a different sandwich for yourself and another one for Kid. "Why are you awake anyway?", Kid frowned and sat down at the counter, eyeing you carefully. "I just couldn't sleep and I felt like it's snack time.", you shrugged and finished the first sandwich for Kid. Kid nodded and grabbed the filled bread, not letting you out of his sight. "Okay, I just need to ask.. What are you building in there? You barely left the room for a few days..", you tilted your head a bit, curious about his answer. "Secret.", he smirked and always looked down on you whenever you weren't looking. "Oh really? You seem to have a lot of secrets lately. Especially after a long talk, which you've had with Sova.", you narrowed your eyes at him pushed a glass of water into his direction. Kid just shrugged and didn't even want to comment on that. "So.. you're not going to tell me?" Kid shook his head. "Not even a hint?" He shook his head again. "..alright.. I give up. I am too tired for this.", you sighed annoyed now and shook your head. Without even realizing it, you put away the ingredients for the sandwich because you weren't in the mood to eat anymore. You turned around to the door, wanting to leave the room. "You've been sleeping quite a lot, right?", Kid mumbled while trying to chew and speak at the same time. You rolled your eyes and continued walking to the door, "Yes, and?" "And you're really moody lately.", he swallowed the last bit and took a big sip of water, emptying the glass. "If you want to make me angry, you're doing everything correctly.", you turned now around, crossing your arms at your chest. "You sleep a lot, you're moody, horny 24/7 - which I really enjoy by the way -, you eat tons of crap and you gained a bit of weight. Now do the maths, woman.", Kid hurried to say these words before a loud burp escaped his lips. You didn't even pay attention to it, as your brain calculated what he had just explained to her. "Oh.. my God." "It's weird to hear you say and not scream that..", Kid frowned and brushed his fingers through his hair as he stood up. Instinctively, your hands reached down to your stomach, "You're joking.." "Trust me.. I wish I was.", Kid chuckled a bit and approached you, "But now, I don't mind. It's time for me to have my own heir and prepare him or her for their future as a real pirate." You looked up to him, not understanding how he could take this so lightly. "I am going to be honest, though. If that child chooses to be a marine, it better learn how to run fast..", Kid looked at you seriously and frowned at how confused you seemed to look. "What's the matter now? Aren't women supposed to be happy about children?" "I.. I don't know if I should even have kids. I don't know if I could be a good mother.", you looked at him now worried. Your thoughts couldn't find a logical path in your brain and it scared you. "Are you fucking kidding me? You are literally taking care of a bunch of idiots on this ship. If you can handle them, you can handle my heir. I wouldn't be working on a bed and the coolest toys if I wouldn't be believing in you.", Kid looked down to you and then to your stomach. He touched your stomach softly with his index finger, "You better be strong. A weakling won't survive on the sea. And if you're a girl.. you better be into women because no man is going to be good enough for
you!" Tears were rolling down your cheeks, happiness, excitement and a little bit of fear in them. It was all a lot to handle but you were sure that Kid would help you go through with it. "Thank you, Kid.. ", you leaned onto his chest, trying to calm yourself down. All of your last weeks made a lot of sense now. The times, when Killer's cooking upset you because nothing was tasting good. The few moments, when you kicked out innocent crew mates because they looked at you in a weird way. And all the times, you woke up Kid in the middle of the night, just to have him satisfy you until you wanted to go back to sleep. You were sure that you'd be able to go through all of this and raise a child, if he was with you. "But I was serious about the marine part.. I will leave the child on an island, if it just hints to want to become a marine.", Kid commented again, ruining the moment as usual.

Jojos Doing Jojo Things (with each other)âšđ
*sweating as the part 5 hc asks start piling up in my inbox*
*looks at the one that mentions Jonathan*
Hello~~ Iâm sorry for being criminally inactive here, I forgot during that long 6 month lockdown that I actually had a real life outside of the internet and now I have to go do real life things?? Instead of doing nothing but writing?? Crimes, I tell you.
I love the idea of Jonathan interacting with all the other jojos so I thought Iâd take a little break from part 5 whump headcanons to fulfill this one :D SO HEREâS SOME SELF-INDULGENT HEADCANONS ABOUT JONATHAN DOING FUN LITTLE ACTIVITIES WITH THE OTHER JOJOS BECAUSE I KNOW WE ALL NEED IT RIGHT NOWđđđ
âââââââââââââââ
Joseph (lets say Youngseph in this case because shhh)
-Hear me out but KNITTING
-Let this man do some nice calm things please
-Joseph has absolutely no way to connect with Jonathan. Like. Nothing.
-He doesnât see the two of them as anything alike even though they both have the star, and when it comes to connecting with such a righteous, nice dude heâs a bit :/ about it
-He also doesnât want to do anything stupid (In his words.) He hates baking, heâs never been into reading and school, and the two can never really click with sports
-Our man Jonathan has searched his heart and soul for something to bring the two of them together but Joseph is always just not into it >:(
-Heâs almost given up on connecting at all BUTâ
-One thing they do have in common? Erina.
-BOOM. Johnny-boy suddenly has ideas >:)
-Joseph is really put off when Jonathan shows up with a ball of yarn and needles and in the most innocent way possible heâs like âI have something to show you ^-^â
-the first thing Joseph thinks is NO FUCKING WAY. If Caesar or his mother or anyone caught him fucking knitting heâd never be able to live it down
-So instead he just watches as Jonathan sits by the fire, and it looks really boring at first but he just starts going at it
-And of course the gears start turning and all his brain sees is âfast task?? task I can be good at? something quick my hands can do??â
-And Jonathan looks up to take a break to see Joseph perched on the edge of the chair in complete awe, but the moment he asks if he wants to know how to do it, Joseph gets really withdrawn :/
The rest of their conversation goes a little like this:
âIsnât that meant for girls?â
âWhy would hats and scarves be only for girls?â
âBut itsââ
âYou know...Iâm making Erina a matching hat and scarf for her birthday. I could use a little help with the scarfâŠâ
â...â
âWe can make it a race.â
And with a fire lighting in his eyes, Joseph accepts the contest even though he has no idea what heâs doing. But isnât that what he does best?
-Needless to say, he becomes obsessed.
-When his greatest fear comes true and Caesar finds out, heâs too obsessed to care about the teasing
-Joseph is good at something that Caesar isnât. Caesar is jealous. Caesar picks up knitting.
-Are knitting contests even a thing?? I donât care because Joseph and Caesar could probably open a fucking etsy shop with all the stuff they make (and absolutely shamelessly at that)
-Anytime they meet someone new it's immediately âwhich hat is better?â âJosephâs is worse, right?â âCan you start the stopwatch for us?â
-Even in his older years, he never actually stopped making things for Holy, Suzi, and even sometimes Jotaro (thought Joot wouldnât be caught dead wearing any of it in public)
-He actually progresses past knitting and making clothes in general becomes a secret passion of his
-The hat heâs wearing in part 4? He definitely made that. And donât even think he doesnât send Josuke the tackiest shit in the mail
Jonathan is very proud :)
Jotaro
-Animals. Is that even a question?
-Jonathan was always more of a dog or cat person, but the moment he finds out that Jotaroâs interested in marine life? MAN GOES ALL OUT
-He not only researches the shit out of marine biology just so he can hold up a conversation with him, but he also buys A SHIT TON OF BOOKS for his favourite angst man
-We all know that Jotaro isnât exactly a man of words, but his heart is touched when they exchange a few sentences and Jonathan shows up the next day with a book all about what they were talking aboutđ„ș
-LikeâJonathan was always scolded for never listening to his father, but when it comes to stuff like this, Jotaro swears heâs able to read his mind
-Most people can barely get him to utter a sentence, but when these two are alone theyâll talk for hours about the ocean
-Holy was actually pretty worried for a while that Jotaro rarely ever opened up to anyone, but after seeing the two of them talk it was like a weight lifted off her shoulders :)
-They go on trips all the time to study water life. First, it's just to the river a few minutes away. Then they start going out to the lake nearby, and then theyâre suddenly borrowing Josephâs private boat and going on all these âresearch tripsâ together
-Which just consist of Jotaro taking hundreds of pictures and surprisingly never shutting up about what he sees (which is definitely a first)
-They pass by snooty, rich fishermen all the time who make fun of them for only looking at the animals, and Jonathan secretly uses Hamon to attract the fish to anywhere but where the fishers are lol
-I can blame snipster on instagram for introducing me to Smiletaro but the pure happiness and smiles of happy Joot on this boat with Jonathan is like a DRUG
-Star Platinum is absolutely thrilled, and when Jonathan realizes that Star is an amazing artist, he actually buys the stand a cute little purple notebook to draw all the ocean life they come across :3
-The moment they get back to shore Jotaroâs all -_- again around people, but you can still see the excitement in his eyes if you look hard enough
-When he gets into school for marine biology, Jonathan is so fucking proud
-This is an au which means anything can happen so I formally declare that Jonathan definitely got Jotaro those golden dolphin-shaped coat pins when the man first goes off to Uni
-He wears them as a good luck charm :3
Josuke
-Josuke is soooo easy to get along with, especially since both of them are such warm people :)
-Jonathan figures that it wouldnât be hard to find something fun to do together, but when he actually thinks about it...he really knows nothing about what Josuke likes to do
-He ends up just asking the kid next time they see each other, and they end up just agreeing to teach each other one thing the other doesnât know
-Because the power of KNOWLEDGE BABYYY
-Josuke shows up the next day with an entire fucking Nintendo 64 and is absolutely set on teaching him how to play something
-Erina just kinda watches like đđđ as Josuke plugs it in and Jonathan is confused but also SUPER EXCITED because he barely even knows what a video is but there are also video games??
-After much internal debate, Josuke decides on Ocarina of Time because heâs worried Jonathan will have a fucking heart attack if they play something like Mario Kart
-Also he thinks Jojo would enjoy the whole ârighteous hero coming of ageâ archetype thing because,,,you know,,,
-They start it up and immediately Jonathan is like WHAT and has no idea how to play and dies in ways that Josuke didnât even know were possible, but they somehow make it to the first temple with a lot of help from Josuke
-Right before the boss fight, his mom pulls up like âbitch we gotta go come onâ so Josuke sees no harm in leaving the system at Jonathanâs and coming back next week
-Oho,,,ohohooo,,,
-He comes back a week later to a dark house,,,Erinaâs off on some trip, and he can hear the faintest âHYAH!â coming from the living room
-He walks in to find Jonathan in the exact same spot he left him, ALL OTHER SAVE FILES ARE COMPLETE, and heâs in some obscure location doing a side quest Josuke didnât even know existed
-Turns out heâs really good at quest games
-After Josuke realizes that Jonathanâs managed to beat the game more than once, he asks if he wants to try out another game
-To which Jonathan replies: âThereâs MORE?â
.
-Aside from giving Jonathan a crippling video game addiction, Josuke also learns a vital thing about Jonathan Joestar
-Hamon ^-^
-Josukeâs a little surprised that Jonathan can even see his stand, and Jonathan has no other way to explain it than that it must be connected to his Hamon somehow
-To which Josuke is like âwhatâ and Jonathan realizes that his stupid fucking grandson decided not to tell ANY OTHER Joestar about Hamon
-Heâs no Zeppeli, but he could try and teach him...even if it didnât work, it would still be a nice bonding activity
-When Jonathan finds out that Josukeâs stand ability is revolved around healing, heâs overjoyed because he might have a better chance
-They start small with breathing exercises and meditation, which eventually lead to Jonathan trying to teach Josuke how to make things like flowers
-Since it doesnât exactly come naturally to Josuke, things donât exactly work out,,,but both are unsurprisingly happy when Josuke manages to make a single flower bloom :3
-Itâs not much, but itâs there and it honestly makes Josuke feel much better knowing that he could eventually learn how to heal himself, too :)
Giorno
-Jonathan considered teaching Giorno Hamon a while ago, but he realized that his stand already has the properties of Hamon, if not just in a more humanoid form
-And when Jojo puts two and two together that he and his son can both grow a lot of plant life, he has the perfect idea
-Garden buddies!!!! :D
-They grow everything you could possibly think of, and to top it all off, Giorno fills the garden with all this animal life :)
-When it comes to biology, Giorno never shuts up about it. Heâs the quietest kid when it comes to virtually anything else but prepare for MAJOR info dumps about frogs and his vast knowledge of flowers
-Speaking of flowers, them just sitting and growing them together and talking about all of their favourites? Yes please
-Although they love to accelerate plant growth, thereâs one patch in the middle of the garden that theyâre determined to grow naturally
-Also them growing and eating carambola (star fruit) together because itâs my pocket dimension that makes no sense and I get to decide what fun fruits the Joestars get to eat together
-the garden becomes a great place for picnics and outings and the best place to go when things get too chaotic
-Giorno starts a plant journal where he records everything that ends up growing there, and Jonathan starts impulse buying all these flower guide books so they can look at pictures of them and put their favourites in the garden :3
-They end up creating a little pond in the middle of everything, and Giorno puts a whole bunch of frogs and fish in it and it's all very tranquil and calm and nice :))
âââââââââââââââ
I was gonna do part 6 (maybe part 7 too?) but mental energy? I donât know her, sorry yâall :(
Feel free to add on though!! I wanna see what yâall would think Jonathan would wanna do with Jolyne or anyone else I missed :D My first thought for Jolyne was Rugby because Jonathan was a rugby KING and I feel like sheâd be really good at it lmao

I havenât seen you replying to any asks lately (whether mine or others)
Are you feeling alright lately?
Since iirc you usually only answer ask when you have enough energy/focus
Some of your posts from your personal blog got me a bit worried too
But if Iâm bothering you too much, please let me know
-Shima
omg I AM SO SORRY
i feel so terrible when i donât reply to asks but i want to assure everyone whoâs asks are marinating rn: i read every ask i ever receive. every single one. whether itâs a hate anon, a request, oc brainrot, literally anything- i read them all. and i love receiving them. hell if youâre a returning anon who just likes to talk to me about things or a mutual sending brainrot or literally anyone who has ever sent me an ask, you have made my day. words cannot describe how happy i feel whenever i open tumblr dot com in the morning and i see that little red dot on my inbox.
in short, you will never ever bother me by sending asks!! itâs literally my favorite part about this website. but when i answer asks i want to make sure iâm giving enough energy back and i want to make sure that itâs super mega ultra clear that i read and appreciated the ask that iâm answering, but this does take a lot of energy and thatâs something i rlly have been lacking the past few days
tldr: i will be answering all my asks today! i just havenât had any energy the last couple of days and i want to make sure that my answers are able to return the energy given to me ^^
#[đ©] shima anon âĄ#i feel so bad just#leaving my asks in there ;;#but i donât wanna give bland half-hearted answers to#*yk#and i wanna be able to#reciprocate the energy given to me#if that makes senseâŠ.#MAN I JUST WANNA GIVE INTERESTING ANSWERS INSTEAD OF JUST BEING LIKE âCOOL đđ»â SEND TWEET#[đ] mari's picnic basket

Left on the detectiveâs desk, a single red rose and a note written in precise handwriting:
Alex,
What happened to you - you didnât deserve it. You can be loved, if you let yourself.
Happy Valentineâs Day
(yolo experimental style; alex/mason, early established relationship, angst and fluff; no direct mention of abuse, just oblique circling and fatalistic thoughts; rated m for mason; also on AO3~)
Even though I didn't finish reading it, even though I hid it from sight, imprisoned it in darkness, cast it to the depths of the bottom drawer until the end of shift, when it would be possible to smuggle the thing into the break room recycle bin without risking Tina's eyes or interrogation, that stupid fucking note has somehow still managed to reach up through all those heavy files and twist my stomach into knots.
For hours.
Plucking my nerves hard enough to make my hands fucking shake too. Typos in every report, backspace key pulling overtime without pay. Not helped by eyes that won't stop stinging. Armpits that haven't fully dried either, along with a weird chill, shivers that persist despite the sweater and the cranked-up thermostat.
At least the rose is gone. Snuck it into the arrangement on Tina's desk, the one I get her every year.
It looks better surrounded by friends.
It was nice to see it on the desk this morning
(Can still smell it perfuming the air.)
And if I could get rid of my thoughts as easily, I would. Because after half a day of chasing them in circles, I still can't figure out who the fuck sent that goddamn note, who the fuck would write something like thatâsay shit like that, to meâwho could possibly fucking think or know or say anything about that, or that I-I, that Iâ
Fuck. Fuckfuckfuckingfuck.
That sickly feeling wrenches again, hard enough to jerk me forward over the desk, face buried in my hands while my breathing shudders into something unsteady and vaguely gasping.
Fuck.
It can't be Tina.
It can't.
It should be, but it can't.
The writing's not loopy enough to be hers, and it's not slanted enough to be Verda's, and the damn thing isn't covered in nearly enough heart stickers to be from Felix. We all should know. Nate's been sighing nonstop for the past week, scraping them off every available surface in the Warehouseâexcept for the lacy pink one Felix managed to sneak right between Adam's shoulders.
And the glittery red one I pressed covertly to Mason's ass.
(Maybe not so covertly. Found a few hearts stuck to my underwear later when I slipped outta my jeans, and the secrets of how the fuck he pulled that off are still locked behind his smirk.)
A smile tries to pull at my lips, but the tightness in my gut warps it crooked.
Another shuddery breath.
It can't be from Adam either. If he had something to say to me, he'd just say it, preferably after he finished laying me out on the mats, all sweaty and sucking down air from another session of his gentle ass-kicking. Nate, however, would write a note to me. Has written a note to me. Has written many notes to me and still not made a dent in that stack of expensive stationary, and although the card stock was silk cream, the pigment obsidian night, and the calligraphy swooping in almost a dead ringer, I know it can't be from Nate because he would never leave a rose with his words, not the ones meant for me.
But there isn't anyone else.
There's Mason
And it can't be from him.
It's not his handwriting, to start. I think. I'm pretty sure. I've never actually seen his writing, but I can't imagine it would be anything resembling neat or careful. It's gotta be complete chicken scratch. All cramped and illegible. He's left handed too, barely patient enough to sit through a stoplight, much less give ink the time to dry, so there'd be definitely be smears, and there weren't any smears. At all. Can't be him.
Not to mention he'd never do anything like this.
Don't know why he keeps coming to mind anyway. Just because we'reâŠ
Together
âfor now.
Doesn't mean he'd ever say anything like thatâ
He already has
(He did. He said I deserved better and I believe him, but I don't, I can't.)
âonly because he'd say differently if he knew.
If he really knew.
He'd say different and I'm not gonna fucking tell him and it doesn't fucking matter anyway, it doesn't. Shine's gonna wear off soon enough. Novelty, satisfied. Boredom, returning. And at least the conversation won't be awkward, just⊠blunt. To the point. A first for us both, in topic, if not style.
I've never been dumped before, at least not in a romantic sense.
Another breath. Another shuddery breath.
Wonder how it's gonna feel.
(It's gonna suck.)
No fucking shit.
If it can't last, why agree to it at all?
I rub hard at my eyes, grinding palms into sockets.
If it can't last, why not tell him anyway?
Because I already fucking know! Don't need to hear it from him, don't wanna hear it fromâ
If it can't last, why does it matter what he thinks?
ââŠStupid fucking note.â
It was nice to see it on the desk this morning
(Someone took the time, wrote it, left it in here. Someone cares.)
Someone's playing a sick fucking joke, more like.
What if it's genuine?
I scoff ragged, squeezing fingers around the back of my neck.
(Tina cares. So does Verda. The whole team, so many others, I know, and I believe them all but I don't. I can't.)
What if you didn't deserve it?
I did. I stayed and I did. My fault. Fucking stupid, like he always said.
(All Mason ever speaks is care. In a thousand different ways of touch, in silence, in lingering looks, he cares.)
What if you can be loved?
What if you can?
A brittle laugh wheezes past my lips and shoots toward something hysterical, boosted by acid burn and cloying petals and that churning, churning tightness. My shoulders hunch high around my ears while the sound pitches even higher, lungs immolated and screaming along, nails digging, cutting crescents as I shake and curl tighter, smaller, compacting into stiffness hard enough to rival diamonds, every muscle verging on a cramp and my throat is stinging and my eyes are on fire, hot, wet, and the door is closed, the blinds shut, and maybe I could justâ this timeâ if I stayed quiet, I couldâ
I couldâ
But I don't.
I swallow once, twice, suck down, blink it away, then snap upright and get back to work. There's too much shit, not enough time.
Never enough time, not for that.
For you
(Remember to eat lunch.)
I don't.
I don't really remember talking to anyone either. Or finishing paperwork. Answering email. Clearing the inbox backlog, digital and otherwise, but the stack depletes, the numbers go down, Tina gives me shit from the doorway, and soon the peripheral lights tick off overhead in the foyer, a mop bucket rattles its rounds, darkness crept into my office at some point for a visit and now it's here to stay, just its quiet company along with the monitor blasting eye strain, clacking keys, tight shoulders, a headache, and thenâ
A familiar ass plops down on my desk and scares the shit out of me.
I jerk back in the chair, wheels rolling, hand over heart to keep it from pounding free and Mason looms above it all, bathed in harsh blues, deep shadows, a deeper frown, and eyes that refuse to obey the rules of any ambient illumination.
Right now? They're crinkled soft, even as they scrutinize.
He looks⊠worried.
When did he even open my door?
âYou okay, sweetheart?â
ââŠYeah,â I mutter. A lie, an obvious one, but I fight the urge to glance away and dare him to call me out anyway. âYou need something, sunshine?â
A muscle in his jaw twitches. âYou're late.â
âFor what?â
We didn't make plans.
âGetting home.â
Fuck.
I sigh, slumping in the seat, and now I'm looking away, now I'm backing down, running a hand through my hair, mussing and tangling, just like he always does when he's uncertain.
And when the hell did I start doing that?
âYeah, I'm still behind on shit from my vacation. I was gonna stay late tonight, try and catch upâŠâ I explain, because Tina and I also didn't make plans this year.
(Because she's been marinating in smugness ever since I sighed and told her about the relationship. Because she dropped that shit-eating smirk earlierâthat I remember, at leastâdripping suggestion all over my office as she waggled her brows and winked and made obnoxious kissy faces until I shoved her out the door, but not before she told me to 'have lots of fun tonight, Alexandra.')
Sure.
âSorry I didn't text. I⊠forgot.â
That tightness in my stomach does another loop, and I huff a quiet breath.
Stupid fucking note.
Mason folds his arms. ââŠThe fuck is going on with you?â
Concern blunts the teeth of his words, not that there's any real bite. There never is, not with him, but I tense up anyway, expecting it, expecting to be ripped open.
Blood and pain.
I'd tense up no matter how he asked.
It's okay
(He's not Bobby.)
âNothing,â I reply, folding my arms, eyes down, âjustâŠâ
It's okay
(He's not looking to hurt.)
Probably will anyway, but fuck it. I already know his answer.
Let's just get it over with.
âYou didn't leave me a valentine earlier, did you?â My gaze snaps to his. âOn my desk?â
Mason scoffs. âWhy the hell would I do that?â
This time, it stabs instead of twists, higher up, somewhere in my chest. Something sharp instead of dull.
Disappointment? âŠRelief? I'm not sure.
Just that it stings.
And it's nighttime, so maybe he feels it too, and maybe that's why he unfolds his arms and shifts toward me, boot heel dangling by the bottom drawer while his voice drops to a softness that matches his accent. âWhat it say?â
âNothing,â I repeat, even quieter than him. âJust someone fucking with me. It doesn't matter.â
It does
(Shouldn't lie, not to him. Don't need to. Don't want to, don't like it.)
Mason doesn't like it either, but he doesn't push it. Neither do I.
We look away from each other.
The office swelters around us, too stuffy, too small. Too silent and uncomfortable now to stay. I roll forward to save my work, then turn the computer off and Mason's already waiting for me by the door, a dark silhouette framed by distant fluorescent, my coat and bag hanging off his arms. He pulls me in while I put it all on, yanking me by lapels before abandoning them for the sweater on my lower back, the loose hair at my nape. His lips brush against mine in slow movements, soft nibbling, and he's whispering something to me with it all, with the strokes of his fingers and the circle of our chins, but I can't quite hear.
So ask
(He'll answerâand he won't lie.)
I swallow, then I do.
ââŠWhat kind of kiss was that?â
âDunno.â He shrugs beneath my hands, breath tickling my face. âI want you to feel better.â
âOh.â
A shadow flits behind his eyes.
ââŠAnd if he's still bothering you, I'm gonna break his fucking jaw again.â
I chuckle softly. âPretty sure it wasn't him this time.â
âGood.â Mason nibbles another kiss, then smirks. âMight still do it anyway.â
That gets a laugh from both of us, one that sprawls into a pause, grey eyes locked to mine while our grins fade out and our breath catches on everything unspoken and nameless rushing in to take the space.
Honesty. It's what I try to speak. Trailing up from the emotional ooze, raw and sticky.
I hope he can fucking see it, hear it cry, but I wipe it off and whisper the words into shape anyway, cheeks flaming, just to be sureâ
âI'm sorry, I just⊠I don't wanna talk about it now.â
âand he answers me with a brush of his mouth, with his tongue parting my lips, with the way he teases into me before licking deeper, the way he jerks our hips together then shoves, a knee between my thighs, my back into a wall, a door frame, a sharp corner, a low groan rumbling up his chest directly into mine and I hear it all this time, in his breathy panting at the edge of our kiss, the firmness in his fingers angling my face to his, the solid heat of his cock pressed hard against me, grinding slow while I cling tight and moan, I hear it all, but he sucks my lip in with a sharp inhale, rolls me around his mouth before releasing with a drag of teeth, and he murmurs it aloud anyway, just to be sureâ
âI know, sweetheart. It's fine.â
âthen he nips down hard, and it's hard not to smile, hard not to laugh, harder still not to nip that asshole right back, so I don't.
Hold back, that is.
Our lips are swollen and sore by the time the station door swings shut behind us.

Silent Saviors: 4taro x Fem Reader
Finally... FINALLY IT IS DONE! This is infernal ask that has been in my inbox for so long!!! Thank you to @stardustbrosaders for the request all those months ago lol. This was the request: âHeya! Would it be possible to write a P4! Jotaro x Female! Reader where the reader gets her stand under stress from a battle? The group almost gets defeated but the readerâs stand appears and she beats the enemy, saving everyone? For the readers stand type could it be close range like SP and CD?â
I also drew the readerâs stand for this fic. You can find a link to the stand info here.Â
This is a long ass fic btw. Itâs literally 11 THOUSAND WORDS. I donât know what compelled me to make the fic this long. I really donât. But I did and here we are. I hope you like it, no matter how long it is!
Quick content warnings: General violence and angst, strangulation, murder (duh)
Without further ado:Â Silent Saviors: 4taro x Fem Reader (11k words)
A dark force was afoot in the town of Morioh once more, but it had just been a long day, and no progress had been made to capture that force. The teamâs morale was low. The exhausted high school students stumbled home to catch a good nightâs rest, thoughts of ongoing danger in their small town looming over their heads. The young manga artist Rohan Kishibe grumbled to himself about his failures, wondering how a genius like him could not decipher this mystery like he had last time. You felt a heavy air of unrest lay over the town as you awkwardly shifted in your seat on the ride to the Grand Hotel, looking over at your travel mate as he silently ran over the facts in his head. He shook his head in frustration. None of this made any sense. All the victims had been killed in the same way, so it must be a stand, one that didnât leave behind any evidence, one potentially even more dangerous than Kira.Â
A dark force was afoot in the town of Morioh once more, but you didnât know anything about the first monstrous event that had occurred. The small townâs silent saviors all agreed with one another to seal their lips and tell no one what had really happened. Not that anyone would have believed them.Â
But you would have. Your travel partner didnât know anything yet, but the more time you two spent in this strange town, the crazier you felt you were becoming. You were seeing objects levitate in the air, you were seeing arms stick out from these bizarre teenagers. At this point, youâd believe anything just to make it all stop. You stumbled inside from the taxi, convinced this small town was driving you insane.Â
Your partner turned to you in front of your hotel room, his own room right next door, and placed his large hands on your shoulders.Â
âAre you alright (y/n)? If any of this investigation gets to be too much for you, just tell me and Iâll send you on the next flight back home.âÂ
You snort tiredly. âToo much for me? Jotaro you look exhausted⊠You havenât been taking breaks from the case at allâŠÂ Youâre always so anxious. Do you promise youâll actually go to bed this time?âÂ
Jotaro looked down at you and moved his hands from you, sighing heavily. âYeah⊠I promiseâŠâÂ
You give him a shy smile before shrugging. âBesides⊠you need me, donât you? Werenât you the one that said Iâm the only one that calms you down?âÂ
Jotaro gulped and broke eye contact with you, his own silent way of admitting that you were right. You chuckled and opened the door to your hotel room, giving him one last look and goodnight before you left to go to bed. You would wake up about two hours later from the sound of your partnerâs shuffling about in his room next door. You slipped on a thick crew neck over your thin tank top and shorts and open to the door connecting to the two rooms.Â
You peaked your head past the door to find a familiar sight before you. Pictures were tacked onto a corkscrew board, red thread connecting the dots to draw the group one step closer to solving the crimes. Files were splayed out over the desk, a map of the small Japanese town resting on the nearby bed, etched with red Xs displaying the sites where several young men and women met their demise. Amongst the mess, you found the broad shoulders of a tired Jotaro Kujo hunched over the desk, the young man still looking at the mountains of documents, eager to find the path to justice. It was hidden in those pages, he was sure of it. It had been your third night together in that hotel, and it was evident that you two would be there for much longer. Â
---
âMiss (L/N) it says here that you have received your degree in zoology and graduated at the top of your major.â
âYes, sir.â
âAnd it says here that you recently led an academic study of marine biology that went very well back home.â
âYes sir, and it would be an honor to join this esteemed team of scientists here at SPW.â
It was the year 1998, and you were interviewing to work at the Speedwagon Foundation. You had graduated atop your class, and had a passion for your work that few possessed, as well success that few could show for. You prayed that this interview was going well. The Foundation was the utmost important center of scientific research in the world and you didnât want to waste an opportunity to work there. You watched the smile on your interviewerâs face as he reviewed your credentials before setting the paper down.Â
âMiss (L/N) Iâd like to welcome you aboard our team. I believe you will contribute much to our efforts.â
Your face lit up in excitement and you rushed to shake his hand. âThank you so much sir, I wonât let you down! If I could ask what position youâre hiring me for?â Â
âYou see we have an opening for an assistant with the Kujo lab. Since youâre just starting off here- youâll be assisting him in meetings and in bench work-â
âExcuse me... the Kujo lab? As in Jotaro Kujo? Isnât he my age?â You interrupt nervously.Â
âWhy yes miss⊠is there an issue?â
âWell no sir itâs just⊠I thought perhaps Iâd be working under an esteemed professor⊠I didnât think someone fresh out of grad school would already have a lab to himself⊠Not to sound ungrateful of course, I just didnât realize I would be working under one of my contemporariesâŠâÂ
A sigh came to the man and leaned back in his chair, thinking about how to explain the situation.Â
âMiss (y/n), the reason Iâm placing you in Kujoâs lab is that I feel the two of you would work well together, given your similar backgrounds and parallel personalitiesâŠâ You furrow your brow, unsure what the supervisor meant until you were face to face with Jotaro Kujo himself a few days later.Â
You still remembered the day well. You hung your coat up on a nearby hook and looked about the lab. Documents were piled over every available surface with no particular organization. A large fish tank stood in the far corner, a wild variety of fish encased within. Anatomical posters of aquatic life were all over the walls, and right by the window sat Jotaro. He hadnât looked up when you came in. Approaching his desk, you stared down at the mass of black hair on the top of his head. Soon clearing your throat, the young doctoral studentâs head shot up to look at you blankly. You opened your mouth to speak, taken aback by his unemotional expression, nervously turning to a notebook you had on hand.
âUh⊠um⊠My name is (y/n) (l/n), your new coworker. I would like to thank you for allowing me into your lab. I had been going over your most recent papers on the social patterns of starfish on the eastern-most coast of Japan and I was just wondering if-â
âIâm sorry, who are you?âÂ
You looked up from your notes and into the young manâs deep blue eyes, your breath catching in your throat. You struggled to form a sentence under the intense gaze, your breath shuttering out from your lips, and you looked back down at your notes.Â
âIâm (y/n) (l/n)... your new coworker.âÂ
Jotaro nodded slowly, considering what you had just said. You watched as he removed his large white overcoat and leaned back in his chair, donned in a fitted black t-shirt.Â
âWhy did they hire you?â You lean forward confused, your ear facing him.Â
âIâm sorry?âÂ
âWhy did they hire you?âÂ
You look away for a moment, considering his now nervous expression, his nervous tick of chewing on his lip, his small twitches of the eye, his clenching and unclenching of his jaw. You looked down, finding his leg bouncing anxiously against the floor. A small, sweet smile came to you, and you opened your mouth to speak, alerting his attention.Â
âYou and I apparently have parallel personalities⊠according to them.â
You watched as Jotaroâs lips curved into a shy smile and he got up from his seat, grabbing a notepad from a nearby drawer. He then turned to you and extended his arm out, pointing. You followed the direction of his hand and saw a separate desk facing his at the other end of the office. You turned back and quickly nodded, rushing to set your things down and then turning to face him once more.Â
Jotaro nodded courteously at you. âHave you read my most recent work?âÂ
âYes, I just told you that I did that-â
âGood. Come to the meeting with me then.â
You followed after him into a nearby boardroom, unsure of the situation about to befall you. The meeting began. Executives discussed their most recent funding prospects, deciding whether or not to continue their spending, depending on how successful the trials had been. You sat patiently in your chair, listening to the others argue frankly amongst themselves. A steady, fast tapping upon the table commanded your attention and you turned over to see Jotaro staring off into the distance, his fingers rapidly tapping on the desk, his whole form shaking with sensory overload.Â
âMr. Kujo? And you?â You watched as Jotaroâs head shot up and he looked around the room. He hadnât been listening, his mind had been too overcome with anxieties.Â
âI um⊠I uh⊠W-what were-âÂ
You watched nervously as this man came undone at his seams. You cleared your throat and tapped the table next to his notepad. Getting the message, Jotaro grabbed the notepad quickly and anxiously flipped through its pages.Â
âUm⊠sorry about that. I would like to further my research- wait no this is on the wrong page. Wait no itâs not⊠wait-âÂ
You looked around as the listeners began to get frustrated, looking at each other in jest of one of their top researchers. You chewed nervously on your finger, hoping Jotaro would pull himself together. It was your first day working with him, and it was already troublesome.
âI would like to further the research done in my penultimate paper. Or was it my most recent...â
âMr. Kujo, we would have liked for you to have prepared for this meetingâŠâÂ
âNo no⊠I did. I did. Wait-â
With a quick motion, you reached over and placed a hand on Jotaroâs shoulder, calmly taking the notepad from him and then turning to the group. Jotaro looked away, still visibly shaken.Â
âMr. Kujo clearly states in his most recent paper that he plans to continue his research, at a different coastal region, comparing more behaviors there to make sure that this past successful trial wasnât any sort of spontaneous fluke. He writes in his goals of perhaps inspecting the regional colonies of starfish around S-Town⊠Following that, he plans to remain in contact with the genomic department and track genetic similarities between human and aquatic life that may explain the similar social patterns between the two.âÂ
You explain to them all, having memorized the paper. Turning to the notepad, you saw what Jotaro had written in preparation for the meeting. You then turned back to the investors.
âMr. Kujo kindly asks that you aid him in his funding so that mankind as a whole may find a better understanding of the natural world⊠Thatâs all he wanted to say. He just couldnât find the right page. Sir.â
You reached back and placed the notepad back near Jotaroâs shaking hand. You returned your hand back to the otherâs shoulder, squeezing gently to reassure the scientist that he was alright. The young man turned to you in a bit of surprise, not expecting your presence to calm him oh so much. The executives all took in your words and the head of the meeting slowly nodded.Â
âWell⊠thank you for your assistance, missâŠ?âÂ
â(l/n).â
âRight well thank you⊠We will consider Mr. Kujoâs work for a second trial.â
âThank you. He appreciates it.â With that, you let go of Jotaroâs shoulder.
The meeting soon adjourned, You got up to leave your seat when you felt Jotaroâs hand grab your shoulder. You turned around to see him slowly stand up from his chair.Â
âThank you. Iâm not a big fan of speaking to themâŠâ
You nodded quickly. âYesâŠÂ of courseâŠâ
From that day on, the two of you were inseparable. Having experienced the horrific acts done to him and to those he loved back in his teenage years, Jotaro was convinced that you were the only one who could calm his constant nerves and anxieties. You became his most powerful tool against the outside world. You understood his work perfectly, understood his mannerisms perfectly, and respected his need for silence in the office. You knew how to say things the way he would himself, and you had no fear discussing them to other people. The two of you became much closer over the months of your working. Jotaro became much less of an enigma in your eyes. It would be a few months until Jotaro would unwillingly reveal his more âsecretâ projects.Â
The first time you saw the arrow, Jotaro did not want you to see it. But still, what happened that day would forever change your relationship with the young scientist. You had arrived early, hoping to surprise him with a hot breakfast and a smile. You turn the corner to walk into the lab, yet when you go to open the door, you find it locked. Strange. Looking inside the room, you find Jotaro hunched over his desk in focus, in the same clothes as the day before, having not yet unlocked the door. Even more strange. You knocked on the door, only for him to leave the room with another door in a hurry, ignoring your pleas. With a grumble, you dug for your keys, figuring his weird behavior was just fatigue, and that he probably slept over at work again. When you finally get into the lab, you place your things down, and that's when you see it lingering underneath his desk in a rushed hiding spot.Â
Encased within a thickly walled wooden box, an arrow remained, barely hidden from your gaze, as Jotaro had had no time to hide it from you. The latch was undone, another sign that Jotaro had run away from the scene.
Jerk. Didnât he trust you enough to show you something like this? Itâs just a bow and arrow! Why was he hiding it? You called out for him to return to the room and explain what the bow and arrow was for. Hearing no response, you turned back to the wooden box, reaching your hand in to inspect the bow and arrow.Â
It all happened so fast. In the blink of an eye.Â
There were no in-between movements. One moment you had pricked your finger on the razor sharp tip of the arrow, the next moment you were standing up, the box had been tightly locked, and Jotaro stood right in front of you, chest to chest, intensely staring you down. Your breath became ragged as you maintained eye contact with him. What just happened? You didnât even hear him come in. The box was right before your very eyes, and you didnât even see that it was locked. How did he even turn you around without you knowing?! A chill went down your spine as you hesitated to speak even a word to the man before you.Â
âDo you see what was in there?â
Jotaro asked you calmly. You felt a cold sweat form on your forehead. Jotaro, ever the impatient man, grabbed your jacket collar, shaking you out of your scared daze.Â
âIâm asking you now (y/n)! Did you see what was in there?!âÂ
âNo, I didnât see anything! I donât know what just happened! I swear! I saw you run away from the room and went to see what was in there and the next thing I knew you had come back and it was all so fast and I donât understand and I-... Jotaro⊠youâre scaring me.âÂ
Your body convulsed at his rough contact, your hands reaching up to push him away, but his tight grip on your jacket remained steadfast. Pure instinct had compelled you to lie to him about seeing the content of the box, but the terror and confusion you had displayed was genuine. You still didnât understand how he was able to move that fast, or affect you with you even knowing. Just who was this man?
Jotaro stared down at you for a moment longer, before releasing you from his grip and taking a few steps back. You stumbled back, grabbing the edge of his desk to stabilize your fall. Your heart continued to race in your chest as you heaved, still struggling to make sense of what just happened.Â
Jotaro silently called out Star Platinum, having his stand hover right in front of you as you kept staring at him in confusion. Your expression didnât change once he called out his stand. So you were telling the truth. You really hadnât seen the arrow. Or at least, hadnât touched it.
Jotaro sighed, rubbing the side of his head with a groan. He hadnât stopped time in so long, but it seemed he was worried over nothing. âIâm sorry to frighten you, (y/n).âÂ
You finally straightened yourself out, gulping. âWho the hell are you? Really?!âÂ
â...Iâm Jotaro Kujo. That is all.âÂ
Another chill ran down up your spine, but you played it off. If he wanted to continue things as per usual, youâd have to do the same.Â
âRight⊠I brought breakfast. And thereâs a morning meeting in half an hour so freshen up.âÂ
You walked past him to retrieve the food you had bought for them. Looking down to pick it up, you noticed a red blood stain on your jacket. It must have been from your bleeding finger when youâd pricked it on the arrow. However, when you turned to look at the finger itself, you found that it was fully healed, not even scarred, even after such a precise and direct cut. Jotaro politely asked you for the food, claiming hunger, and you rushed to take your coat off and hide it away. You got the sense that heâd question further if he saw the fresh blood stain.Â
After that fateful morning, things continued on as per usual. You still had your questions, but after a few weeks had passed without another incident, you resolved that whatever that bow and arrow were must have been top secret for the Speedwagon Foundation. You figured no company could be as powerful as they were without keeping a few secrets. And this was one of them.Â
So you resolved to ask no questions about that one day. The same way you didnât put up much of a fight when, in the summer of 1999, after months of you two planning to stay there together, Jotaro told you that he would be going to Morioh alone to research for his PhD, without you. You were furious, enraged how the two of you could become so close since you began working there, yet he still didnât trust you to go with him. You argued with him the night before he was set to leave, but his resolve never crumbled. You werenât going to Morioh, that was final.Â
In the three months that he was gone, Jotaro regularly sent you his findings, and you sorted them back at Speedwagon Headquarters. When he finally came back, more visibly shaken than he was before, you could only wonder what the coworker you had grown so attached to had experienced in Morioh in the summer of 1999.Â
Circling back to the present day, it was the winter of 2000, and there was yet again a dark force afoot in the town of Morioh. Only this time, Jotaro would not go alone.Â
âYou have to let me come with you this time.âÂ
âExplain why. Explain why I have to let you come with me this time. I did just fine on my own before.âÂ
You gritted your teeth at the otherâs stubbornness. âWill you please just listen to me? Jotaro when you came back from Morioh, you were even harder to deal with than before! Any sound in the office set you on edge and you screamed when someone set off fireworks near our building! And you still havenât explained to me what happened there! Now let me come with you! I can help!â
Jotaro turned his attention away from his work, finally looking at you for the first time in that conversation. He hadnât realized just how attached to you heâd become, how much you meant to him. You were his ticket into communicating with the world to his fullest, and after recalling several confusing conversations with Josuke, Okuyasu, and Koichi, Jotaro realized he actually needed you in order to articulate himself to the others without getting too anxious or angry.Â
âAlright fine. Weâre leaving tomorrow at 2. You better be ready.âÂ
But nothing could have prepared you for the horrors you were about to encounter in that small town. To your shock and disgust, you learned that aside from his research, Jotaro was investigating a murderer. And then you met Josuke and the others. That was when you first felt that you were going crazy. When you saw glimpses of third arms extend out from these teenagers, saw one of them heal a broken leg with ease, saw another erase space itself. People all over this small town were vanishing in thin air, and the incidents were happening more and more frequently. It didnât make any sense, but no one was commenting on it, so you felt you were just imagining things. The same way you must have imagined Jotaro moving at lightspeed that morning you pricked your finger on the arrow.Â
Finally, we return to the current scene of Jotaro hunched over his desk, his room in the Morioh Grand Hotel littered with documents, the board nearby covered in photos and string, the bedside clock reading 2:33 am. You approached him carefully in the tense silence, knowing not to startle him whenever he was in deep thought.Â
â...Jotaro-â
âDammit dammit dammit! Iâm sick of it! Where the hell is he?!âÂ
Jotaro slammed his fist down on the desk, his chest heaving in frustration. Why did this keep happening to him?! He just wanted to live a normal life, and he thought after Kira, he could. But like so many times before, Jotaro Kujo was wrong. Perhaps it was his destiny to be unfortunate. Perhaps there would always be another person stabbed by the arrow that would have it out for him and the others. Perhaps he was always destined to have a target on his back. Jotaro turned around to see you there, your form shaken from his sudden outburst. Youâd never seen him that angry before. He met your gaze, unaware that you were sensing a vague presence of a being just above the manâs shoulder.Â
He sighed, walking over to you. âIâm sorry to scare you (y/n). Iâm just getting frustrated by all this.â
You hesitated to speak for a moment, flinching when Jotaro placed his hand on your shoulder. You look up at him with a glare. âTell what you havenât been telling me.âÂ
âYouâve been with me in Morioh this whole time (y/n). We both know the same things about this case I-â
You shoved Jotaro back, the surprised scientist bumping into his desk. âDonât play dumb with me Jotaro! Thereâs something youâre not telling me! Do you think Iâm an idiot?! Do you think I canât handle it?! Tell me why you and a bunch of fucking kids have to be the ones taking down a killer?! Why canât you just leave it to the police like a normal person?! Just say it! IâŠÂ I can help you!âÂ
But Jotaro couldnât tell you. You wouldnât understand his world and the horrifying stands contained within it. He had to keep you safe. The moment you find out anything more will be the moment you die.Â
âNo⊠I canât tell you (y/n).âÂ
âBut thatâs not fair I-â
â(y/n), Iâm sorry, but if you ask me again, Iâll be forced to send you back home and have you fired from my lab. Try to understand me, Iâm doing this for your own safety, but I canât have you be near me if you donât cooperate.âÂ
You stood there in shock. Would he really do that? Didnât he know how much working for him at the Foundation meant to you? How much care that you put in for him and his work? And heâd throw all that away just to protect some stupid secret!? Who did he think he was?!
Your whole body began to quiver in rage at the otherâs behavior. Just when you thought there was something between the two of you, something more than just a young professor and his assistant, he makes it clear that you mean nothing to him, and you never have. You watched the man before you, turn away from your gaze to focus back to his work. With a huff, you reach for the door to leave, your hand touching the handle.Â
Then, it all went white.Â
Your hand touched the handle, feeling the metal scalding to the touch. Before you could flinch back and yelp at the pain, a hand circled around your neck and another crept around your waist, the grip keeping you flush against another body. You look around the room, watching the color and furniture dissolve from your view until all you could see for miles was a white void. The only thing you could feel was the man with a locked grip on your neck, blocking your airway. You kicked to set yourself free, until you felt a ghostly presence cling onto your legs to hold them together. That same feeling washed over your wrists to bind them as well. The man holding onto you within the void leaned down to bring his mouth to your ear.
âNo human on Earth is unable to feel pain.â
Your whole body shuddered at the deep growl in his throat. âW-who are you?! What do you wan-â
âIâm the one talking (y/n)!â
With that, his hold on your neck tightened ever more. How could he have known your name? You all had made a point to only use names in private in case the murderer was lurking around. So that means⊠A pang of realization hit you. Heâd been hiding in this hotel room, listening to you and Jotaro was however long. Black spots appeared before you in your line of sight, your head was feeling lighter and lighter. You were becoming weightless.Â
âIn the split second that a human being first feels pain, that is when they are at their most isolated. At the first sign of pain, itâs every man for himself. When a man is shot, in the first moment he feels pain, he isnât thinking of the man next to him that got shot in the brain. Heâs thinking only of himself. The fight or flight response is activated, all other surroundings become useless. That selfishness, that hunger to be healed, that desire for self preservation, is what fuels Foreignerâs God, my stand!âÂ
Your eyes shot open at the last word. âA...stand?â You choked out.
âMy stand, Foreigner's God, extends that initial moment of selfishness that comes with pain. No longer are there distractions that can bring someone back to care for others. No longer are there healers that can take that pain away. Your hand is still burnt from the handle that I heated up, soâŠâ
He turned you both around and you saw through your hazy view, a body appear in the white void. It was Jotaro, the man frantically calling out your name and rushing between his room and yours in a search for you. At one moment, the two of you even seemingly made eye contact, and you saw the absolute fear in his eyes at the realization that he might have just lost you. Your mouth quirked up in a smile, and tears began to form in your eyes.Â
Jotaro took a step closer, maintaining your gaze, and you felt relief in your heart that he could really see you. Until suddenly, he rushed to the night stand, fazing right through you and your assailant, not even noticing your presence in the room. You struggled to shout under the choking pressure as you saw him panic, reaching to the phone to call Josuke.
âWait! Jotaro! Iâm right here ah-â
âDidnât I tell you (y/n)! At that critical moment of pain, itâs every man for himself! Itâs just you and me in here! Youâre in my world now, sweetheart. I allowed you to see Jotaroâs image, but he cannot see or hear you!âÂ
The killer turned your head to the side, ready to snap. But he had to wait, for his stand would deactivate the moment you were killed, and then heâd be left vulnerable to a furious Jotaro in that hotel room. He needed information about his opponentsâ abilities, and Jotaro was playing right into his hands by calling his friend.Â
âThatâs it⊠Thatâs it Kujo! Call Josuke Higashikata! Call him! CALL HIM!â
You trembled under the rough grip, struggling to call out for Jotaro, hoping he wouldnât call anyone and reveal any secrets.Â
And then amidst the silence, the click of Jotaro hanging up the phone filled your ears. You watched the look of reflection on his face. Somehow, maybe it was because of years of battle with monsters just like this man, but Jotaro Kujo realized that you hadnât run away. Someone was keeping you from him. And he was now more alert than ever.Â
âShit! Heâs smarter than I thought! He must suspect thereâs a stand attack going on.âÂ
The murderer grumbled before dropping you to the ground. He couldnât kill you, not without proper info on how to defeat Jotaro and the others. But that didnât mean he couldnât hurt you. With a sharp kick to the back, the assailant managed to knock you away, breaking bones in your spine and leaving you immobile. Recalling his stand ability, the murderer managed to escape out a window without a trace, figuring you would lose consciousness. With a gentle thud, you toppled to the ground, right next to the open window.Â
â(y/n)!âÂ
Jotaro rushed to the sound, seeing you lay there, gasping for breath. He turned to the open window seeing no one around. He had disappeared. And right under his nose too. How long had the man been in the room with them?! How dumb could he have been?! Reaching up to Jotaro, you muttered that the man had broken a few bones in your back and that you couldnât move.Â
âIâm sorry Jotaro. I didnât get a good look at his faceâŠâÂ
âDonât worry about that! Iâll get help right away!âÂ
You looked up with hazy eyes as Jotaro rushed to the phone to call Josuke. After everything between the two of you, after everything heâs said to you, it was surprising to see just how much he truly cared about you. Holding the phone to his ear, Jotaro frantically told Josuke your condition and for him to get over here as soon as possible. Glancing down at your arm, Jotaroâs eyes shot open at the black ink that painted your skin just a few centimeters beneath your wrist. In all caps, as if the murderer was playing with you all, the ink wrote,Â
âForeignerâs God - AS.â Â

âHonestly Mr. Joestar, where does that grandson of yours get off running me and the others ragged like this? He sees one person with the initials A.S. in a phonebook and he sends me out across down to read them with Heavenâs Door.âÂ
Rohan Kishibe sat drinking his tea, absently working on Pink Dark Boy, waiting for Jotaroâs next move. His companion, Joseph Joestar, took a sip of his drink at Rohanâs rude accusation.Â
âHush now Rohan. We all put Jotaro in charge of his operation, given his connection to our main victim. All heâs doing is using your stand to its full capabilities.âÂ
The old man raised an eyebrow and Rohan got the hint. Mr. Joestar was the only one of the group that the snarky artist fully respected, so he would follow the seasoned stand userâs lead.Â
A heavy set of footsteps entered the room, followed by a more uneven pair lingering behind. The two stand users looked up to see you and Jotaro enter. You were looking better since the attack. Josuke had healed your back of the broken bones, but the bruises and intense pain of walking remained. Moving with crutches, you slowly stepped out from behind Jotaro as the two of you entered the room. Jotaro, his face darkened in a mixture of unhealthy fatigue and intense bloodlust, approached Rohanâs table and slammed down a stack of papers.Â
âNames, addresses, ages, and criminal histories. All here. I want you done with it within the next two days.âÂ
Rohan grumbled, standing up. âYouâve got a lot of nerve talking to me like that Jotaro. Not even a hello, not even an acknowledgment of your grandfather. Heâs the only reason Iâm letting you push me around like this you-âÂ
Jotaro took one step closer to Rohan, staring the smaller man down in silence. A chill went down the artistâs spine. Shown plainly in the scientistâs eyes was a haze of dark intent, of evil desires. He wanted this person dead, and for them to suffer. Joseph flicked his gaze up at his grandson, recognizing the expression from the otherâs climactic fight with DIO. A tinge of worry filled the old soul.Â
They needed to catch him, and catch him soon.Â
âJotaro, come on. We told Josuke and the others we would give them an update soon.âÂ
At the sound of your voice, raspy still from the attack, Jotaroâs face softened into its usual composure. He turned around to face you, and you gave him a tired smile.Â
âRight, letâs go. Rohan. Two days, please. Iâm counting on you.âÂ
Tipping his hat over his eyes, Jotaro held out an arm for you as you both walked to the rendez-vous point to meet with Josuke.Â
Rohan still felt lost in the otherâs murderous expression. It had been three days since your run in with Foreignerâs God, and Heavenâs Doorâs user was one of the first to arrive at the scene in order to search for clues. He remembered reading a page drawn from your unconscious body; you had blacked out soon after Jotaro made the call for help. Josuke was working on your spine, and there was a tense silence about the room. A silence soon interrupted by the crash of wood hitting the floor. Everyone looked up, seeing Jotaro standing deathly still in his spot, meanwhile Star Platinum had escaped and had thrown the table over and smashed it into the floor. The rampaging stand turned to the board and knocked it over with a fierce punch, wood scraps and documents flying everywhere.Â
âHey Jotaro stop it! We need those!âÂ
Josuke yelled, drawing out Crazy diamond to hold Star back. In his blinded rage, the stand took a mindless swing, punching Crazy Diamond in the jaw and sending both him and Josuke flying into the opposite wall.Â
âJosuke!âÂ
Koichi and Okuyasu rushed to their friend. He wasnât injured too badly, surprisingly no bones broken; nothing a bandage or two couldnât fix. The four of them, the three teenagers and the artist all turned to Jotaro in shock, who by this point had absorbed Star Platinum into his being. Turning back to face them all, they all got a look at it.Â
The truly furious face of Jotaro Kujo.Â
The calm and collected scientist now wore the face of violence, a face he hadnât worn since Egypt. His eyes shone bright with a horrifying lust for vengeance. Those eyes looked away from the frightened stand users, towards your unconscious body. Without a word, Jotaro left the room, and the others let out a shaky breath in the tense air. Those eyes. It had been three days and those eyes were still ever present. Rohan shook away his discomfort and waved goodbye to Mr. Joestar, understanding now.Â
Jotaro was not in this for justice. If Kira had hurt only you those months ago, Jotaro would have worn the same face. You were the key to Jotaroâs psyche and wellbeing. That was a fundamental truth about Jotaro Kujo. It was that day that Rohan Kishibe learned another fundamental truth.Â
Sometimes, the universe places an answer in your hands when you need an answer the most.Â
Half an hour later, it happened. It was in the middle of a secluded street, inhabited by only three people at that moment. A man. A woman. And the young artist, who had been so enraptured by his goal of locating the first name of his list that he barely had the time to react when it happened. And when it did, it only took an instant.Â
The man in front of him quickly drew out a pocket knife from his jacket, driving its blade into the womanâs shoulder, unaware Rohan was behind him seeing the act in its entirety. Before the woman had any time to scream in pain, the pair vanished into thin air before the artistâs very eyes, and into the manâs stand realm. Rohan held his breath, frightened at the pairâs sudden disappearance. A stand user. It must have been. Was this him? Reaching quickly into his bag, Rohan Kishibe phoned his first line of defense.
You had been sitting with Jotaro and all of the Morioh teenagers when Jotaro received his call from Rohan. Â
âWhat is it?âÂ
âI found someone. Itâs either him or another one Jotaro.âÂ
Jotaro shot up from his chair, eyes blown out in stress. âAre you sure?! How do you know?!âÂ
Josuke, Okuyasu, and Koichi all grew the same expression of fighting spirit on their faces and you were sure danger was ahead for you all.Â
Rohan tried to remain calm. âIâm not sure⊠Come over here with the others. We have a better chance of taking down whoever this is together. Iâm by Owsen, two streets overâŠâÂ
Inside Foreignerâs Godâs realm, the man grabbed on tighter to the struggling womanâs neck as she gasped for air.Â
âPlease, please donât kill me! Please donât k-kill me!âÂ
But the man was hardly paying attention to her cries. He had brought a vision of Rohan into the void and was watching the artistâs movementâs while still strangling the woman as she writhed in pain.Â
He didnât like what he was hearing. With a grunt, the man turned the woman around to face Rohanâs vision, his hand still tight around her neck.Â
She whimpered at the sudden motion, tears streaming down her face, meanwhile he stared boredly at Rohan talking on the phone with Jotaro and the others.Â
âHey bitch, who is that?âÂ
The woman just kept crying. âPlease donât kill me!âÂ
Gritting his teeth, the man smacked her upside the head and tightened his grip around her neck. âTell me who that is!âÂ
Her vision hazy, the woman took a good look at the eccentrically dressed man. âI-I think th-thatâs Rohan Kishibe. A famous manga artistâŠâ  She sputtered out.Â
The manâs eyes widened. Rohan Kishibe. He was at the scene of Kiraâs death. Could he be another of them?Â
A fit of laughter took over him and he cackled, his jubilation mixing uncomfortably with the womanâs struggle for her life. Continuing to holler, the man dropped the woman to the ground and she remained there, coughing to catch her breath.Â
âOh thatâs great! Iâve heard heâs good too! You ever read any of his stuff?!âÂ
She looked up at him confused, watching his face twist in excitement as he realized that he, a lowly stand user, was about to kill a man that helped take down the mighty Yoshikage Kira. Staring down at the ground, she shuddered at the sound of the maniacâs voice.
âHey.â
A chill went down the womanâs spine. Suddenly, the man wasnât laughing anymore. She turned her head to find a way to escape, seeing nothing but white everywhere. Why couldnât anyone see what he was doing to her?! The man on the street with them, Rohan, why wasnât he stepping in? Itâs like they werenât the real world at that moment.Â
â...I asked you a question.âÂ
Tears filled her eyes again as she met his bored gaze. âW-what?âÂ
Drawing closer to her weak form, and kneeling down on the ground, the man before her grabbed a fistful of her hair and she screamed at the sudden jerking pain.
âIâm asking if youâve ever read any of his stuff!âÂ
The woman felt a crushing pain in her chest, as if a mysterious force was stepping on her.Â
âN-no! I havenât! But please donât k-â
âHmph.âÂ
In a split second, the standâs hands came around the womanâs neck and snapped it, and Foreignerâs Godâs ability ceased. The man quickly his himself out of sight, seeing Rohan standing alone in the street.Â
Rohan turned around at the thud of a body hitting the ground behind him. He looked over to see the dead woman, her eyes blown out and a thick ring of bruises around her neck. Just like what you had gone through. And there it was, the same tag that had been on your body after your attack.
 âForeignerâs God. - AS. âÂ
Bringing his phone shakily to his ear, Rohan muttered, âItâs him Jotaro. Heâs just killed someone else. Get over here now!âÂ
Jotaro felt the same dark intent sweep over him as he heard Rohan speak those words. âDo you see him?âÂ
âNo. He hid himself somehow. Heâs nearby I bet. Waiting to get me⊠Come soon. Iâm hanging up.â With that, the artist turned his phone off, staying on guard for any attackers.Â
Jotaro hung up the phone call with Rohan and turned to the others to come with him. You stood up as well to head to the scene when you felt Jotaroâs hand roughly shove you down into your seat.Â
âNo.â He ordered plainly.Â
âNo?! You expect me to be useless again?! Iâm the one he attacked first! I wanna see him go down and I wanna help do it!â
âIâm not having you go over there! You canât get hurt again!âÂ
You stared up at him, shocked at the concern plastered all over his face. But still, you were stubborn. Thatâs one of the things he loved about you.Â
âWhat about you?! What makes you sure you wonât get hurt?! Or even die Jotaro?!âÂ
âIâd rather that than you die (y/n)! The world needs you more than it will ever need me! And I canât watch someone I love get hurt right in front of me again!âÂ
You stood there frozen, your legs feeling like they were about to give out at those word.
â...What?âÂ
Jotaro felt a hand grip his shoulder, turning to see Josuke motion for him to get going. They needed to catch this guy. And fast. Giving a quick glance to your shaken form, he knew you understood why you needed to stay behind.Â
You did, of course, know him and his words better than anyone else on Earth.Â
Jotaro began running with the others towards the scene and when he was a few feet away, you heard Koichi ask your beloved lab partner if he had any idea what kind of stand they were dealing with.Â
Your mind flooded back to the words that man had spoken to you. A stand. That was the word he kept using. A stand. AS. Those were the initials of the man that nearly strangled you to death. Foreignerâs God. He said that was the name of his stand. A stand. Stand.
Your mind kept repeating that same word over and over again in your head as you stood there in the crowded Morioh street. All of these people. The people you had come to love. Josuke and the others. The strange lives they lived. Jotaro. The strange life he had drawn you into. They were all working to save the thousands of people that lived in this small Japanese town.Â
You thought back on all they had said, all that you had overheard over the course of the investigation. Things you didnât understand now flooded your mind. They spoke about the first trip, the killer. Killer. A man named Kira. Killer Queen. Killer Queen must have been his stand. A stand. Is that why you think youâve been going crazy? Are those third arms stands? ...Did Jotaro have one?Â
âGimme⊠gimme⊠gimme⊠GIMME!â
Your whole form awoke from your deep train of thought at the sound of someone calling out to you. You turned around, looking at all the people that were walking nearby. No one was even looking at you. You sighed. You supposed this town really was driving you crazy. You reached for your crutches and took one step forward-Â
âGIMME GIMME GIMME GIMME GIMME!!!â
The loud voice rang violently in your head and you fell to your knees from the shock. Covering your ears, you foolishly tried to block out the sound. Your whole body began to feel weak, your whole being heating up. It felt like your blood was boiling, your muscles were tensing, an unwanted rage consuming every cell in your form.Â
âWhatâs going on?! Whatâs happening to m-â
âGIMME GIMME GIMME GIMME GIMME GIMME GIMME!â
âWho are you?! Whatâs going on?!â You thought to yourself, panicking. What was this voice?!
âGIMME GIMME GIMME!â
âGo awayâŠâ You muttered under your breath as you knelt on the pavement.
âGIMME GIMME GIMME!â
âGo awayâŠâ Your voice subconsciously raised, drawing othersâ attention.Â
âGIMME GIMME GIMME!â
âGO AWAY!â You let a shrill yell, grabbing violently at your hair in terror, causing a crowd of people to form around you.Â
And then the voice stopped, a quiet renewing in your head. You sat there, gasping for air, your throat still burning from the attack days before, and your screaming had not helped it. You looked up at everyone staring up at you in shocked worry. In a calm daze, you stood up, grabbing your crutches and began to walk away from the others.Â
Jotaro. Jotaro would know what it means. What that voice was.Â

Arata Sone had been Yoshikage Kiraâs only friend as long as the killer had been alive. He was the only person in the world that Kira confided in. He remembered the night he met the blond murderer. One evening, the normal man came home from a very late night at work to a silent home, his wife sleeping upstairs. With a heavy sigh, Sone was about to enter his bedroom when he heard his wife let out a sudden shriek, before the sound immediately ceased into a renewed silence. Panicked, the man swung the door open to find another man about his age, standing in the middle of the room, a dismembered hand in his grasp. The hand was dripping blood onto the carpet, and Soneâs wife was nowhere to be found. Putting two and two together, the man felt a chill slither up his whole body. He remained stuck in his spot as he watched the blond man draw closer to him. Then something strange happened. Arata Sone knew that he should be afraid, knew that he should be begging for his life, knew that the proper thing to do was flee. But what he did shocked both himself and the murderer before him.Â
Arata Sone laughed harder than he ever had before.Â
Cackling loudly to an unsettling degree, he even managed to throw the calm and collected Yoshikage Kira off guard. After several minutes, the laughter died down and the man looked at the other before him with a wide smile on his face.
âThank you.âÂ
For the first time in a long time, Kira felt a shudder rush through his body.Â
âThank you?âÂ
âI was waiting for a good moment to kill her myself.âÂ
In that moment, both men felt one of the great pleasures of life, a pleasure that can only come from being shunned for oneâs desires for so long, and then to finally have that desire recognized by another being. The two men called out their stands and both fell into fits of laughter and joy at their shared murderous trait. A new friendship had been born.
A few years later, Arata Sone saw on the news the gruesome image of his beloved friendâs face crushed beneath an ambulance. Seeing what he could only guess were other stand users at the scene, his ever present lust for murder grew within him to a boiling point. Foreignerâs Godâs user made a promise to himself. To kill those who had killed his friend.Â
And today was the day to make that happen. The killer watched from his hiding spot as Jotaro and the others ran to the scene to see a very shaken Rohan Kishibe, who was wondering why the killer had yet to show himself. What none of them knew, was that their attacker had grown as a stand user. He was about to apply what his dear friend Kira had once taught him, and was merely hiding to get them all in one place.Â
Sone waited for the group to get within his standâs range.
You slowly made your way on your crutches towards the scene. You needed to know these answers.Â
âJust a little fartherâŠâ He thought as he waited for Jotaro and the others to be within his grasp.Â
âJust a little fartherâŠâ You muttered to yourself as you turned the corner, two streets away from Owsen. An ominous feeling crept over you, making you feel sick to your stomach.Â
Finally, they were all together within his standâs range. Arata Sone waited for the right moment, a sick smile on his face.
Jotaro went to speak. âAny sign of h-â
And then the attack was sent into motion. In that split second, each of Moriohâs fighters looked down to see a small mass of white matter form around their ankle. With the snap of his fingers, the matter exploded, taking a chunk off each personâs leg with it. Jotaro, Josuke, Koichi, Okuyasu and Rohan all collapsed to the ground as the street became consumed in a white void the moment they all felt that same sting of pain.
âNo human on Earth is unable to feel pain.â
They all looked up from writhing in pain as the man they had been hunting down showed himself, the twisted smile on his face more present than before.Â
âWhen a man feels he is at his most cornered, that is often when the most opportunities arise for him. My st-â
In a flash, Jotaro lunged forward, landing a punch to Soneâs face. The smile went away.
âI suppose Iâll take your hand next.â He grunted, grabbing Jotaroâs arm and slamming his whole body to the ground. The moment his hand made contact with the ground, another white mass formed around Jotaroâs finger and exploded, and Star Platinumâs user once again hollered in pain.
âJotaro!âÂ
The other Morioh fighters called out to their injured friend and all of them got up to attack their enemy together. The moment they took another step, white matter formed once more around their feet and exploded again. The five of them were squirming on the ground in pain once again.Â
âAs I was saying before you so rudely interrupted me, Jotaro Kujo. My stand feeds on that first moment of selfish pain and extends it, trapping others in a blank void without distraction from their pain. Itâs a terrifying ability when used properly, though I will admit, back when I attacked your little friend, I wouldnât have been able to take you all on at once, and thatâs the only reason I spared her lifeâŠâÂ
He looked down to see Jotaroâs face overcome with rage at your mention. It was a fruitless effort, but Jotaro lunged at his enemy again, only to be knocked on his back. The moment his body touched the ground, several bubbles of the same white substance engulfed the scientistâs back and exploded, leaving bleeding indents all over the tall manâs frame and causing him to gasp at the pain.Â
âBut you see. I have grown as a stand user. You may remember from the tag on your beloved friendâs arm the words Foreignerâs God. Well that my friends, is the name of my stand. Or no⊠this is something different. A new ability that Iâve learned. A swan song to my dear friend, Yoshikage Kira!âÂ
Their eyes shot open at the mention of that hardly forgotten name. âKira?â Josuke muttered.Â
âOh right⊠an old friend of mine. I figured when I would be taking revenge for his death, I would use some of that explosive power of his that I loved so much. You see everyone, normally I would only be able to keep one person at a time in my realm. You can only hurt some many in one instance after all!âÂ
It was in that moment, Foreignerâs God revealed itself in its humanoid form right beside its user. Lunging forward, the stand attacked the stationary fighters, knocking them all to the ground. At the very second their bodies touched the ground, the same miniature explosions went off, extending their pain and keeping them in the dangerous realm.Â
âGimme gimme gimmeâŠâÂ
You placed a hand against your ear trying to block out that annoying voice that was seemingly coming out of nowhere. You werenât far from the scene, your mind still running wild, asking a thousand questions as to what a stand even was, what that voice just then was, who were the others really dealing with, what was this man capable of. You werenât sure of what you would be able to do, but something within you drew your body closer and closer to the street where your friends were currently writhing in agony. You didnât care about what Jotaro wasnât telling you. You didnât care that there were still questions that needed answered. You just wanted to help, anyway you could figure out how.
Staring down at their battered and bleeding bodies, Arata Sone let out another burst of jubilation amidst the void.Â
âI donât know why I hadnât thought of this before! If you havenât already noticed, my once empty void has now been combined with its own type of landmines. You cannot move without a new one setting off, and extending that pain further. Youâre going to be stuck in here until you bleed out, with no one to hear you or see you! That is it the secret to my new ability, Arsonistâs Lullaby!âÂ
With that cry, the stand stormed through the five of them once more, knocking them to the ground once more, causing new land mines to set off, all to the tune of its userâs laugh-filled joy. It was then that white walls of the void were beginning to fade, and the scenery of that Morioh street was starting to fade back into view.Â
âHmm⊠it appears this ability takes up more of my energy than I thought. I suppose I canât kill all five of you at once and remain invisible at the same time. No matter, I canât sense any other stand users around, just the six of us. I donât care who sees this! Iâll just kill the witnesses after I kill you!âÂ
It was then that Arata Sone made a fatal mistake, and just like his friend Yoshikage Kira, let his hubris take over. Removing the hiding nature of his stand, but doubling the landmines, the man watched as the five powerful stand users struggled to even get close enough to him to land in a hit. New landmines keep going off, new injuries created.Â
They were dangerously close to bleeding out, all in plain sight of another stand user. You.Â
You turned the corner to see the carnage ahead of you, finding your whole group in the enemyâs grasp. You couldnât even tell what you were seeing. The moment one of your friends moved, they would immediately flinch back in agony. Drawing your attention to the man standing over them, a familiar chill went through you. That was the same man that had attacked you days before. And seeing what he was capable of doing to the people you had grown so close to, you were now more scared than ever of him.Â
But you noticed something. Amidst the pleasure that this monster was reveling in, there was a distinct look of concentration plastered all over his face. You watched his expression twitch with each time an attack went off on one of your friends. He must be doing something with his mind to attack them. He was focusing. His focus. You needed to capture his focus.Â
Steeling yourself for what was to come, you dropped your crutches and took a deep breath in, something in you knowing the dangers you were about to face, and the rest of you stupidly seeming not to care.Â
With a small ounce of bravery, you shouted at the top of your lungs. âStop it! I wonât let you hurt them!âÂ
Sone turned around at the sudden distraction, surprised that someone was taking notice. His eyebrow raised in intrigue. That could only mean one thing. You were another one.Â
Jotaro recognized that voice. No⊠no no no. Looking up, he saw your frightened body shaking and staring straight into the enemyâs eyes without a way to defend yourself.
âNo! (y/n) get out of here! You canât be here! Heâll kill-âÂ
The killer turned back around and punched Jotaro straight in the gut with his stand, sending him flying back into a tree.Â
âJotaro!âÂ
You shrieked. All five of them were dying right in front of you, so close to bleeding out. And now his focus was on you, and it had taken all your courage to simply call out and distract him from the others. You watched as the man drew closer, ready to kill another. The same giant smile came over his face again.Â
â(y/n) huh? And here I thought you were a smart person. Smart enough not to beg for me to hurt you again. But sorry, thereâs no escape this time!âÂ
â(y/n) no! Run away! Get out of here!âÂ
You didnât have time to register whose voice had called out to you before you saw the attacker lunge right at you. You put your arms up over your face as your body collapsed to its knees, your eyes shut in fear, and a horrified scream uncontrollably left your lungs.Â
âNow die!âÂ
And then, you felt weightless.
âGIMME GIMME GIMME GIMME GIMME GIMME GIMMEâÂ
As you felt a massive weight being lifted from your body, your eyes shot open to find someone new standing over you. Actually, you werenât sure if it was someone new, or something new. This new thing, it didnât seem real.
âGIMME GIMME GIMME GIMME GIMME GIMME GIMMEâÂ
Your face lit up in shock. Attached to this new thing was the same voice that you had been hearing in your head before. You watched as its fists fired off in a flurry of punches, all hitting their marks on the manâs body. You were mesmerized by its appearance. Its body, about the same size as yours, looked as if it were made of glass. Swirling around within that glass was a pool of different colors. Different blues, purples, oranges and pinks flowed together seamlessly, all encased within the glass structure as it pummeled the enemy before you.Â
âGIMME GIMME GIMME GIMME GIMME⊠A MAN!âÂ
With one last, hard punch to the enemyâs chest, the glass figure stopped its attack and turned around to face you. You shuffled back on the ground, your chest heaving in fear from what had just happened. The figure before you, without speaking a word, drew its arm forward to point at Sone, who was now frozen in his spot before you. Then, everyone watched as small ripples began to form over the manâs whole body. All over his arms, legs, and chest, it looks as if the flesh was moving, as if someone had dropped a pebble into a lake. Then the ripples began to glow brightly, the full spectrum of colors radiating out, and tearing their way from the inside of his body outward. The enemy let out a painful shriek as the searing pain overtook him, more and more light spilling out of his body as the flesh around it became torn and melted. Finally, less than a second later, an explosion of white light burst out of the manâs body. And once that flash was gone, so was he. Foreignerâs God had been defeated. And this thing that you could tell was a part of you, it had been the thing to kill him.Â
Shakily, you stood up, holding on tightly to your crutches, keeping your gaze on this figure that had erupted out of you.Â
â...ABBA?âÂ
Still confused, all you knew was that something in your body told you to say that name. The figure turned around to face you and gave you a shy smile before coming closer and embracing your shaking form in a hug. Surprised you could even touch it, you wrapped your arms around ABBA as well, finding to your disbelief that the glass like material felt soft and warm to the touch. You looked down its back, eyeing the pattern of jagged lines all over its body, as well as the swirling colors within. You felt your eyes well up with tears. Something about holding onto this being, one not entirely separate from you, felt so right. It felt like it had been welling up inside you for so long, and you couldnât help but love it now that it was out.Â
âA standâŠâ You muttered. It was all so clear now. Your stand.
After a few moments, ABBA stood up and nodded towards the group of your injured friends. Holding you up, both you and your stand rushed over to Josuke. The teenagerâs eyes opened with a pained groan, looking up at you and seeing ABBA at your side. His face lit up in surprise and he tried to sit up before the crushing pain forced him back down onto the ground. He muttered weakly for you to see if Rohan was alright, and you did.Â
Suddenly, a small white figure burst out of the artistâs body and punched Josuke in the arm. You watched, intrigued as a section of the teenâs arm unfolded like a book. The white figure leaned in, writing in Josukeâs arm the words, âI currently do not have any injuries.âÂ
You watched in awe as the bleeding wounds all over Josukeâs body slowly began to close. Within a few minutes, Josuke was up and mobile as ever. He had several questions to ask you, but first, he had some healing to do. You watched as a pink and blue being, you assumed Josukeâs stand, flew out of his body and hovered over all of the other injured, healing them nearly immediately. They all stood up, groaning from the shadows of pain still left behind from the attacks. One by one, each of them looked up at you, each of their faces growing an expression of surprise and adoration. You felt small under their gazes, looking up at your stand standing next to you. As small as you felt, there was something about ABBA that made you feel powerful. Especially considering what it had just done to defeat the enemy.Â
â(y/n)... is that your standâŠ?âÂ
You looked over at Koichi before quickly nodding. âYeah⊠I guess it must be right?âÂ
You tried to shrug it off with a nervous laugh, but even you were still in awe of this new ability. Finally, you turned to Jotaro, watching his face for a reaction. The gentle giant stood frozen at a loss of words, unsure of what to say. His gaze turned to ABBA, a melancholy look of admiration and love spread over his features.Â
âCome on Jotaro⊠say something. Donât worry. Iâll understand-âÂ
You muttered softly before Jotaro rushed forward and cut you off with a tight hug. You rested your smaller body against him, tears of relief streaming down your face, grateful that everyone was still alive. You looked up to gaze into Jotaroâs blue eyes, seeing that he had begun to tear up as well. Then something caught your eye. Looking over the tall manâs shoulder, you saw a purple skinned spirit faze out of your partnerâs body and float over to ABBA, starting deeply into your standâs face. ABBA, who had before been so calm and collected, now shrunk back a little bit with a childish giggle at the sight of the handsome stand before her. As ABBA held her face in her hands, you felt your cheeks flush bright red. Your eyes widened and you pushed Jotaro away from you, turning to your stand.Â
âH-hey wait a minute! ABBA, itâs not like that!â
âGimme?âÂ
ABBA asked innocently as she grabbed Star Platinumâs hand tightly in her own. Jotaro now felt his face heat up and turn bright red. With a heavy sigh, he watched as his stand wrapped yours in its arms, chuckling a bit at your embarrassment.Â
âSorry about all this. His nameâs Star Platinum, and heâs definitely more⊠emotional than I am.âÂ
Your eyes widened at what that could possibly mean. Wait⊠did they think that you and Jotaro wereâŠÂ
âW-wait itâs not like that! He and I are just⊠â
âGimme?âÂ
âNo! W-well I mean I care about him but I-â
â(y/n).â
You turned around to face Jotaro as he calmly took his hat off, revealing the jet black hair that you loved seeing.Â
âIâm so glad youâre okay (y/n).âÂ
Your heart swelled at his words and you slowly turned around to see ABBA and Star Platinum holding each other lovingly, a warmth erupting throughout your whole body at the sight. The feeling of Jotaro grabbing your hand caught your attention and met his gaze once more.Â
âHeâs the personification of my thoughts and well⊠it seems like your stand, ABBA right? It seems like sheâs the personification of yours.âÂ
The two of you watched as your stands talk to one another in their own little language, each enamored by the otherâs presence. You turned back to Jotaro, seeing that his face had drawn closer.Â
âYeah⊠I guess... youâre⊠right.âÂ
As you breathed out that last word, Jotaro closed the gap between the two of you, your lips connecting in a sweet, long awaited kiss. You wrapped your arms around the fellow scientistâs, and now fellow stand userâs, neck, giggling slightly as he lifted your body off the ground to hold you tightly in his arms. When you two broke for air, Jotaro quickly kissed you again, holding you up like his life depended on it.Â
When he finally set you down, Jotaro Kujo placed a hand to the side of your face and wiped away your tears. With a small laugh, he turned over to your stand.
âHey ABBA, what took you so long huh?âÂ
â...Gimme.â ABBA shrugged a little bit and pointed at you.Â
You smiled, wiping your tears away. âShe said she wouldnât appear until I was either ready for it, or I really needed her.âÂ
Jotaro rolled his eyes at your stand. âWell you really waited for the exact moment that she needed you huh-Ow!âÂ
Jotaro grumbled a bit as Star punched him in the arm, annoyed that his user was making fun of this new pretty stand. ABBA grinned mischievously before looking around at the rest of the group, and seeing all of the other stands.Â
A feeling of happiness swelled within the standâs heart. Ever since you had pricked your finger on the arrow, for so long she had been growing, becoming more and more trapped within you. It had been lonely seeing you struggle without her help. It had been upsetting to see you not yet be ready for her to show herself. But now, eyeing all the others, Heavenâs Door, Echoes, the Hand, Crazy Diamond, and especially Star Platinum, ABBA really didnât feel alone anymore. And seeing now how the other stand users of Morioh rushed over to hug you and vocalize their shock at you having a stand, ABBA could tell that you didnât really feel alone anymore either. With a sigh of content, your stand fazed back into your body as you followed the rest of the group away from the scene and back to the hotel to get some much needed rest.Â
You leaned against Jotaroâs frame as he wrapped as a strong arm around you. âCome on. Letâs get something to eat everyone! Tonioâs, my treat!â He said with a bright smile.Â
Josuke and Okuyasu cheered, âand (y/n) can meet Tonioâs stand!âÂ
You turned back to the teens in shock as you all walked ahead. âTonio has a stand?!âÂ
Koichi gave a firm nod. âYeah. So does Hazamada.âÂ
âThat weird kid?!âÂ
âMy girlfriend Yukako too.âÂ
âDamn⊠I had no ideaâŠâÂ
You all shared a laugh as you left to enjoy a well deserved victory, the sun setting over the beautiful town of Morioh, another dark force defeated by the town's newest savior.

Hi, could I be served some sweet Walt Hasser Headcanons?
ohmygosh iâm so sorry this took so longÂ
walt hasser is baby and no one can tell me otherwiseÂ
Just Random Walt HeadcanonsÂ
this dude is a dog man and is three seconds away from punching Trombley because all Trombley wants to do is shoot dogsÂ
he definitely feeds the stray dogs some of his MREÂ
he never wears cologne but has a certain musk to himÂ
he smells like pine, old spice, and cinammon
his hands are rough and calloused because before he joined the marines he worked as a farmhand on a ranchÂ
his grandma actually owns the ranch, and his favorite thing to do there is take care of the horsesÂ
Walt can only flirt when heâs drunk, and even then, heâs still terrible at itÂ
he blushes like crazy if anyone gives him a compliment
the backs of his ears look like theyâre on fire, his face and neck get all flushedÂ
heâs the type of person to accidentally walk in on you naked and then start stuttering like crazy before quickly shutting the door again
i feel like he didnât know how to swim before the marine corps (idk why i feel like he didnât know BUT DONâT QUESTION IT-)Â
hands down believes that the chili mac MRE is the best MREÂ
his whole family was surprised he joined the marines because heâs not confrontational AT ALL (they supported him nonetheless)Â Â
is honestly supportive of everyoneÂ
i feel like he secretly likes Avril Lavigne (do NOT tell Ray)
i feel like since he grew up in a small town he has absolutely no idea how internet slang worksÂ
like this man is still trying to figure out vinesÂ
heâs an old soul he gets a free pass
Walt Relationship HeadcanonsÂ
this man is 100% enamored with youÂ
he gushes about you to Poke and all the other guys whenever they ask how youâre doingÂ
(as seen in the gif) he likes it when you spray perfume on your letters to him, it reminds him of home and the way your bed smellsÂ
if youâre in the marines: i feel like you guys arenât in the same company but you could potentially be transferred into the same battalionÂ
i donât think Walt is necessarily in a rush to get married like some of the other marines, but if you wanted to get married he would do it in a heartbeat
i feel like he prefers living more of a domestic lifeÂ
plans on leaving the marines one day to settle down with you and have kidsÂ
Walt wants cuddlesÂ
all the timeÂ
like ALL the timeÂ
just hold him please the man is like an octopusÂ
will be the big spoon if you want him to be but definitely prefers being the little spoonÂ
his favorite day is friday because when heâs stateside, you and him will always watch a movie and curl up together on the couch with your dogÂ
his dogâs name is Cash (after Johnny Cash) (its mentioned in these headcanons by @blenalela and I refuse to believe that itâs NOT true)
his favorite place to kiss you: the foreheadÂ
i feel like heâs a good cook (heâs no Gordon Ramsay but he can cook simple meals so heâs already got a headstart on many Marines trust me)Â
i donât picture him as a big PDA type of personÂ
i do think that he enjoys light PDA thoughÂ
hand holding, soft pecks, forehead kisses, maybe an arm slung around your waist, etc.Â
but along with all the happy things, youâre gonna have some bad timesÂ
you guys do fight every once in a whileÂ
whenever he canât stop thinking about the war, he pushes himself away from you because he feels like heâs holding you backÂ
heâs actually tried to break up with you a few times because he thinks heâs holding you back and that you have so much potential that you arenât using because youâre with himÂ
and this pisses you offÂ
because you want to be there for him but he wonât let youÂ
just give him some time, maybe an hour or two, and then try cuddling with himÂ
if he relaxes into your touch, heâs still upset, but he wonât be irrational and will actually talk about his problems like an adult instead of trying to leave youÂ
youâre going to have to be patient with him, heâs been through a lotÂ
no matter what though, you two will be there for each other
if you get pregnant, this man will cryÂ
not sad tears, VERY happy tearsÂ
heâs gonna be a dadÂ
heâs so excitedÂ
but heâs also really scaredÂ
he doesnât want to mess up his kidÂ
he wants to be with you in the room when you deliver your childÂ
he cries when he first holds them
solid 12/10 dad, goes to every extracirricular event your child hasÂ
will coach a sports team for his kidÂ
Iâm literally so sorry this took forever, I didnât expect my inbox to be this full. I hope you enjoyed this! Have a lovely dayâ€ïž

Hi! Can I have images for maki, shuichi, and rantaro who are dating an S/O who is struggling with their weight due to medical/allergy reasons (for reference, it's called exercise induced anaphylaxis) and is feeling self concious? If you dont want to write an overweight S/O then you can just do the self concious bit
Hi, anon! Thanks for the request. Sorry that it took me forever to fulfill (I thought I wasnât going to ever get to the requests at the bottom of my inbox, but I looked back and thought Iâd like to do some). Icon credit to mckindonalds!
It wasnât an easy request for me to fulfill since I wasnât sure what was appropriate for the reader to say or exactly how they felt about it, but this is kind of just a piece of comfort in each one. I hope you find something that you like in these imagines, although Iâm unsure if this is what you were hoping for exactly. Hopefully, Maki isnât too OOC because I didnât make her very tsundere at all. Under the cut, since altogether it makes the post rather long.
Maki, Shuichi, & Rantaro x S/O with Exercise-Induced Anaphylaxis
Maki Harukawa
Maki rapped on the door politely. She had manners, unlike a certain someone she might name. After a short while, you came to the door.Â
âSorry,â you apologized. âI didnât-â
âYou didnât want to move too fast in case you got sick,â she finishes for you. âI understand,â she says. Contrary to her cold demeanor, her dark red eyes softened around the edges as she looked at you, her beloved, and she came inside the house with the slightest of smiles playing at her lips.Â
You lead her to your room, and the two of you sit on the floor and chat. At first, it was only idle chatter: what each of youâd been up to recently, and how the summer weather was treating you. But somehow, you end up saying the words, the feelings you had never wanted to reveal to her.Â
âI hate this. I wish I could be normal,â you say spitefully before gasping and covering your mouth. You desperately tried to bite back the tears and stared at the floor heatedly. All the tears youâd been swallowing day after day, night after night, year after year. You could do it again.Â
You felt a hand grab yours, and you looked to see Makiâs small but strong grasp on yours. You felt weaker than ever.Â
âHey. Look at me,â she says, and you do. Her eyes are filled with concern and a tinge of sadness. You chew on your lip softly.Â
âMaki?âÂ
She grabs your other hand in hers, too, and somehow it only triggered more feelings you thought youâd left behind long ago. Feelings you buried never really went away; they marinated in the new feelings and warped, but they were still here. Feelings of shame, rage, and self-hatred.Â
âIs it so bad to show your weakness to me?â Maki says quietly. âYou know I was an assassin, and Iâve talked to you about all the ugly, terrible things Iâve done and seen. Theyâre not the same at all, but thatâs my weakness, and Iâve shared it with you.âÂ
You tighten your hold on Makiâs hand slightly. Somehow, your hands fit together so perfectly.Â
âI thought my weakness was obvious,â you said self-deprecatingly, throwing a wayside glance at yourself. Your body.Â
She shakes her head firmly. Without letting go of your hands, she gets on her knees and shifts over closer to you, so that your bodies are almost touching.Â
âI know you struggle with losing weight because of your condition,â she says. âBut I hadnât realized that youâd been suffering so much.âÂ
Maki sounded sorrowful. It was maybe the most emotion youâd ever felt from her, aside from when she had been talking about her time as an assassin or was pissed off by certain people.Â
â...Are you disappointed?â you say. You didnât want to hear the answer if it was yes, but you still asked anyway.Â
âNo. Never,â she replies, and she looks you right in the eye. âYouâre just as strong as youâve always been. But thereâs no harm in sharing your worries and pains with me. Iâm your partner. Iâm supposed to be here for you, and I want to be here for you.âÂ
You attempt a weak smile.Â
âIs it a part of the contract?âÂ
She sighs.Â
âIâm serious, s/o.âÂ
âSo am I,â you joke, and you feel the heaviness in your heart slowly dissolving.Â
Maki presses her forehead to yours.Â
The funny thing about being in a relationship with Maki was that she was so much more daring and affectionate than she wouldâve been once her feelings were returned. She wasnât as cold, per se, as she was before you two were together.Â
âI love you, s/o.â
Your breath was whisked away by those words, and you froze.Â
Maki squeezed your hands gently. â...s/o? Hey, are you not breathing or something?âÂ
Right. She was close enough to tell.Â
You breathed in slowly.Â
âAre you sure?â you say. But you know the answer. She wouldnât say what she doesnât mean.Â
âIâm sure,â she laughs, and she kisses you sweetly. âYouâre beautiful.âÂ
More words that would take away your breath. But you breathe normally this time. She was sweeter than any air you could ever take in, though.Â
âI love you too, Maki. And for the record, Iâm the ugly one in this relationship.âÂ
She pouts and draws away slightly, releasing your hands and putting her hands on your shoulders instead so she can look you in the face from the right distance.Â
âThat would be me,â she says. âYouâre always smiling, and you have the most beautiful smile ever. Tell me if anyone says anything to oppose that, and Iâll punch them for you.âÂ
You chuckle.Â
âYour services are always appreciated, but thatâs alright. I can punch them myself,â you respond. âBut fine. Neither of us is the ugly one. We can both be beautiful.âÂ
Maki nods in satisfaction.Â
âWe are both beautiful.âÂ
You canât help giggling at her statement. It would sound so funny out of context. She leans in and tweaks your nose slightly. âAnd what are you laughing at, huh?âÂ
You bat at her hand.Â
âHey!âÂ
You fall into a fit of laughter with her, and the two of you lie on the ground, cheeks hurting from smiles and joy. Somehow, it was so easy to feel at ease around her. Even your most heavily guarded worries and pains seemed to sprout wings and fly away in her presence.Â
âThanks, Maki.âÂ
âWhat for?â she says and turns to look at you. Her serious expression makes your heart skip a beat, and you wet your lips nervously. Sometimes you still felt like you just had a crush on her instead of being in a real relationship with her.Â
âNever mind that,â you reply, and you roll over and press a kiss to her lips. âI need to recharge.âÂ
She arches an eyebrow.Â
âOh? Well, now that you mention it, so do I.âÂ
You find yourself in her warm embrace and rather preoccupied for the rest of the day.Â
Shuichi
âShuichi?âÂ
The two of you were sitting on the couch and, up until that time, had been reading quietly in companionship with each other. He set his book down, probably sensing something in your tone.Â
âYes?âÂ
You werenât looking at him, although he had now turned to look at you. Instead, you were poking at your round tummy.Â
âWhy am I like this?âÂ
He reached out and grabbed your hand, stopping you from poking yourself. You glanced at him, and his dirty gold eyes were serious.Â
âLike what?âÂ
You sighed.Â
âYou know.âÂ
He shook his head stubbornly, looking irritated for once.Â
âNo, I donât.âÂ
You struggled to take back your hand, but instead, he somehow made it so the two of you were holding hands snugly.Â
âUgh. Why do I look like this?â you complained and avoided eye contact with him. He was surprisingly persistent when it came to you saying things like this.Â
He pulled you closer to him so that you were leaning on him, and let go of your hand only to wrap his arm around you.Â
âYou look like you. You look lovely.âÂ
You groaned.Â
âBut I donât want to look like this. Itâs because I canât exercise that Iâm like this.âÂ
âDo you think your true self lies elsewhere?â he asks. âDo you think this body isnât you?âÂ
You pondered.Â
âI donât really know because Iâve pretty much always been like this. Of course, my body has changed since childhood, but...Iâve never lived without this.âÂ
There was contemplative silence for a while. Shuichi seemed to always compel you to think more about everything in his presence.Â
â...I still love you either way. I know itâs hard, but Iâm here for you,â he says solemnly. âI wonât let you just agonize over this alone. Youâre my s/o, after all.âÂ
You turn your head to look at him, and youâre suddenly aware of how close in proximity the two of you are.Â
âIs that a promise?â you say, one side of your lips quirking upwards.Â
He leans in and boops your nose with his own.
âAlways.âÂ
Rantaro
You were lying on the bed side-by-side with Rantaro, cuddling. He was gently petting your head, as he sometimes did, and you leaned into his touch. It was comfortable and soothing. It would be easy to fall asleep under these circumstances. You sighed.Â
âIs something wrong?â he said, sounding slightly concerned. âI think thatâs the fifth time youâve sighed today.âÂ
âI...no, itâs nothing. I was just thinking.âÂ
He peered into your eyes curiously.Â
âAbout what?âÂ
You sighed again.Â
âAbout my condition. And how I wouldnât look like this if I didnât have it.âÂ
He didnât say much for a moment, just continued to pet your head. Then, he responded.Â
âDo you not like your appearance?âÂ
You bit your lip softly.Â
âI wish I was thinner.âÂ
âAnd why is that?âÂ
You reached out and played with a lock of his wavy green hair.Â
âBecause...I would be more good-looking.âÂ
Rantaro was quiet for another few seconds, looking contemplative.
âDo you honestly think you would be more good-looking if you were thinner, or is that what societyâs conditioned you into thinking? That thinner is more beautiful or handsome?âÂ
You were frustrated and looked away from those probing eyes.Â
âWell, itâs not like itâs just that I wish I was thinner because I think Iâm ugly. My condition isnât exactly healthy.â
He stopped moving for a moment and then continued to pet your head.Â
âYouâre right, Iâm sorry. Since weâd just been talking about your appearance at first⊠Well, itâs not an excuse. Aside from your condition causing health issues, I still think youâre as good-looking as good-looking gets, though.â He smiles in that casual, carefree way of his, and you canât help but forgive him.Â
âAlright, alright. Your opinion is the only one that matters, huh?â You arch an eyebrow and smirk at him. âPretty boy.âÂ
He raised his hands in defense.Â
âHey, I was born this way.âÂ
You rolled your eyes and lightly punched him on the shoulder.Â
âYou were born this way, but you dress this way on purpose.âÂ
âOuch,â he grins. âBut true. And yes, for the record, my opinion is the only one that matters. At least, when it comes to you. âCause I love you, and Iâm blessed to have you in my life.âÂ
You freeze for a moment and then grinned back at him.Â
âI love you too, Rantaro. And Iâm lucky to be loved by you.âÂ
He pulls you into his embrace and affectionately smooches you on your forehead.Â
âDitto.â

Almost - Alex Danvers x Reader
(A/N): Soooooo, I have 23 requests on my inbox, BUT I had this idea running around in my head so, here you have a bit of angst and Alex :D
Warning: Blood - mention of injuries - angst - mention of loss - bitchy James (sorry) and I swear a few times, I think thatâs allÂ
Words:Â 2935Â
Summary: What would happen if a mission went side ways, almost taking your life in the process...how would your girlfriend react?
Red drops of blood running down your chin, Â skin paler than snow, Â your heart was hammering your ears, Â every step you took it would repeat in your bones. Your muscles couldnât hold you anymore, Â your legs were starting to give in, Â and your mind had only one goal, get to the quinjet and escape.
The holes in your body were spitting blood, Â some of them chewing the remaining of the bullet. One in the shoulder, one in the arm, one in the stomach and another one had scratch your leg. The purple and blue spots could also be seen with ease, Â your whole body was decorated with them, each of them weakens you further. A few cuts had also invaded your body, youâre just a huge mess, Â a mess that would not hold much longer. Most of the enemies are dead, Â but your team has also taken that destiny. You are the only one standing, Â or at least trying to.
Your trembling hands pressing your wounds, Â trying to stop the blood. You take a deep breath, Â trying to get rid of that blurriness that was taking over you. Step by step you made your way to the hangar, Â agents scattered through the hallway, Â blood in every wall, Â the smell of it was making you feel sick, Â or maybe it was the smell of gunpowder mixed with burned skin from the explosion or just dizziness from the bloodloss.
The gun that your hands were trying to hold has only 3 bullets, and even if you could take the shots, Â youâre just a few minutes away from passing out. You could hear people running a few floors above you, you had no time to lose.
Meanwhile, Alex was having a crisis when Jâonn informed her about your situation, or at least the last info he had received from your team. The mission has been compromised, and there was no chance that you could be alive. She had tried to convince Jâonn to let her go there,  to try to find you,  save you, but Jâonn could not risk her life to save another, and with Supergirl currently getting her batteries recharged, there was nothing he could do. He knows how much you mean to her, but still, he couldnât let her go.
You didnât know how, Â but you made it to the quinjet, the problem was that it wasnât yours and you didnât have much time left to read the manual. With the last straw of strength that your body had, you pointed the coordinates to the nearest D.E.O Â base with hopes that you could make it there alive, and with the sound of the plane taking off, Â you could finally close your eyes, not knowing how hard it would be to open them again.
âAlex you need to calm down, Â Winn is doing everything he can to find them-â Kara was trying to calm her sister but nothing seems to work, the older Danvers was almost hysterical, and no one could blame her.Â
The D.E.O had been blessed with your help, an ex-marine and well trained Navy soldier. But Alexâs was the one that really felt blessed with your presence, anyone could see her throwing you heart eyes at every chance you werenât looking at her, love was in the air, and now you two are just one month away from the anniversary. A month away and Alex already has a big day planned, she actually planned it 3 months ago, but if you die today...youâll never know how much she loves you, youâll never enjoy the big day she planned, and maybe this specific issue is not whatâs in Alexâs head, but is certainly one of the things that are going to weight on her back if you die, and everyone knows sheâs not going to be the same.
âJâonn should have sent me!â The red-headed shouts, throwing her anger at the Martian.
âY/n is more than capable to defend herself, Â sheâs one of the top agents like yourself, sheâs going to make itâ The Kryptonian tried to reassure her sister, but even Kara, a girl which never loses hope, knows that maybe itâs too late for you. And it hurts, not just because youâre like a sister for her, but because if you die, youâre not going to be the only one going down, youâre taking Alex with you as well...and she canât do anything about it, no powers...no hero
ââŠI canât lose herâŠI canât get through this again Kara⊠I canâtâ Alex says, her hopes crumbling down almost as fast as her patience. The blonde wraps her arms around her, trying to keep her sister's pieces together as long as she can.
âwe are going to find her, and weâre going to find her aliveâ Kara whisper, and for a second, Alexâs hopes rise.
âAgent Danvers!â The Danver sister could hear shouts from outside
âAgent Danvers! we found her! Jâonn is taking her to the medbay-â Vazquez came rushing, agitated from running almost half the base. Alex jumps out of Karaâs arms and with just two steps she was already in front of her fellow agent.
âis she alright!?â She asks, maybe too loud.
âI-I-I w-would not said that, noâ Vazquez says, her eyes fixed on the ground, as if trying to avoid Alexâs desperate state for good news.
Alexâs didnât need any other word from her, with a speed she didnât recall to have, she reached the medbay, but a pair of strong arms stopped her from getting in. Jâonn.
âheyâŠbreath,  sheâs with the Doctors okay? Sheâs going to be alright, we found her, Breathâ Jâonn, as well as Kara, tried to calm Alex down, but again, it didnât work very well.
âI-I want to see her-â Alex says, not knowing that the surgeons were currently trying to bring you back to life. Of course Jâonn knew that, and honestly, he doesnât know if he should tell her, but he also knows that one thing that stands out from their relationship, honesty.
âweâre going to wait here-â He is going to tell her about your state, itâs not easy but she will thank him in the future for being honest with her.
Alex tried to squirm away from Jâonnâs stronghold, tears blurring her view.
âno! I-â
âAlexâ Jâonn says, in a tone that could be easily mistaken as an order but Alex knows that..is a defeat it tone, almost as a plea
âNo Jâonn please-â Alex doesnât want to hear it, the bad news, the âget ready for the worstâ conversation.
âAlex...sheâs not okay-â And with that, Alex crumbles down, this time she didnât fight the Jâonnâs embrace, her sobs not letting her body fight.
âOkay sheâs back again, we need to do this quicky peopleâ Jâonn could hear the Doctors conversation.
âDr. Grey are you alright?â
ây-yeah is just⊠this poor girlâ
âsomeone get me more blood!â
âcall Dr. Hunt!â
âhow is she?â Winn asked Kara that was currently passing through the hallways, just as nervous as everyone in the base. not only Alex or Kara knows you, the entire base had at least talk to you once, and everyone had the same vibe from you, pure light. So it isnât just one person that is going to miss you, is the entire establishment.
âsheâs with Jâonn right nowâ Kara says, her voice cracking a little, for anger? fear? sadness?, or all in between. Her eyes held tears that she didnât dear to spill just because it would feel as if your time had come to an end, and there was still hope for you...or maybe not
âand Y/N?â Winn asked, cringing at the bad taste that the words left. Kara only raises her head up from the ground, the tears no longer being contained, and with a small sad smile, she shakes her head and takes a deep breath.
âI got my powers back...I-I can hear the doctors talk and-â She couldnât finish the sentence, the realization that you may die today hitting her hard.
âSheâll be alright...isnât she?â Winn asks, almost innocently, but deep down knowing what future may wait for you.
âI donât know-â Kara says, more tears escaping.
âshh come hereâ Winn wrapped her in his arms, trying to give Kara as much comfort as he could give her.
âI came as fast as I could, Â how is she?â Lena asked as she came rushing from work. James was currently there, watching for anything to know what happened to the mission that clearly didnât end up well.
âNot okay, The doctors are doing everything they can but...â James didnât know how to say it, youâre not just a friend for Lena, youâre like her sister.
âbut?â Lena asked, waiting impatiently for the answer, looking at James demanding for answers. James sighs.
âdonât get your hopes highâ Lena takes a deep breath, analyzing the situation, although she wanted to cry right now, she need it to be strong, to hold her hopes close to her heart, youâre one of the best agents after all..youâll fight this, youâll survive this. Meanwhile, maybe she could do anything to help. L-Corp had developed an interesting on medicine, and with that, it came to the result of a few upgrades in the Med-bay, perhaps they need something else to help you.
âare they using the tools I gave them? do they need any-â James sighs.
âLena theyâre using everything we have and more, believe me when I say that theyâre doing everything they canâ Lena huffs at this, her fear and desperation for helping you get the best of her.
âtheyâre certainly not-â James cuts her off.
âand you think that you could do better than them? that you canât bring someone from the deadâ James says, and a huge fire enlights inside Lenaâs chest.
âWatch meâ
One of the doctors finally gets out of the med-bay, Alex got up from her chair immediately, almost tackling the doctor.
âhow is she?â the Doctor sighs
âsheâs still in surgery, weâre going everything we can but her body has taking way too much damage, her organs are slowly failing and we are getting short on the blood supply, are the gel bandages ready for use?â The question being directed to Jâonn, which he answered with a sigh.
âno, they are not ready, thereâs still-â Lena interrupts the conversation, a big box in her hands.
âthey are nowâ She says a bit agitated, running in heels is not an easy task, she gives the box to the doctor
âLena-â Alex exclaims
âI fix them, the only change is that they are smaller but I bring as much as I could, do you guys need anything else? more hands?â Lena asks, rubbing her hands anxiously, worrisome written all over her face.
âNo maâam, weâll bring news soonâ The doctor rush into the room once again. Lena looks at Alex state, and quickly approaches her, her arms embracing the older Danvers in a much-needed hug, Alex slowly getting comfortable in Lenaâs embrace and comfort.
âsheâs going to be okayâ Lena whispers, more to herself than to Alex
âI knowâ
It was late at night when the doctor appears again, a tired smile on his face.
âWe manage to stabilize her vitals and remove all the bullets, her organs are functioning pretty well considering her state, sheâs still in a pretty bad shape, we lost her more than once, sheâll need to stay in that bed for a long time-â Alex couldnât help herself and interrupt the men, anxious to know if you would be okay
âbut sheâll be okay?â Alex asks.
âyeah, sheâll be okayâ the doctor says, and Alex could finally breathe. Her hands were shaking badly, and she could feel her soul returning to her body. Lena sighs in relief, the tears she had tried to hold back spilling without caring, youâll be okay. Jâonn nods at the doctor, and then looks at the ceiling, thanking the universe for not letting you go.
âCan I see her?â Alex asks, her body crying out in need to embrace you.
âUnfortunately no maâam, not until tomorrow, sheâs in a delicate stateâ Alex sighs but nods nonetheless.
âthank you Dr.Huntâ Lena says, smiling, happy to know that youâll be okay.
âthose gel bandages work Ms Luthor, that saved her lifeâ Says before leaving, and before Lena could register, Alex was holding her as tight as she could.
âThank youâ Your girlfriend says, letting out a sob, youâll be okay, youâre alive.
1 weeks later
You could feel your entire body crying, and burning at the same time. The beeping noise of a machine along with someoneâs soft breathing. You tried to open your eyes but they had other plans. Your throat feels like a desert, and every time you swallow, you feel as if you were swallowing sand. Your nose could recognize the smell of clean bed sheets and sanitizer. A hospital, well, that explains the unbearable pain and no strength. What happened?. You tried to remember, but your mind was pretty dizzy, still, you could remember a few things. Mission, guards, ambush, dead men, blood, pain, quinjet, darkness. Well, the mission went wrong, it seems like you almost die and now youâre probably in a hospital, hopefully in the D.E.O.Â
You tried to move your hand or something at least, you tried once again with your eyes, you could feel them slowly opening, the lights in the room blinding you, making the already awful headache make their presence more noticeable. After you got accustomed to the lights, you could see a ceiling, one pretty similar to the one in the D.E.O.
You move your head to the right, finding a chair with a bag, and when you move your head to the left you saw someone, red short hair... Alex.
You smile softly, somehow her presence making your pain a little bit more bearable, you tried to move your hand into hers, since she was occupying a bit of the bed to rest her head, and manage to hold it. You tried to talk but it only makes a wave of coughs settle in your chest, seems like your lungs werenât happy with you, breathing was already hard, it felt like burning a bit, but talk? fucking hell.
You started coughing, your body begging you to stop, but you couldnât. Alex wakes up immediately
âOh my god Y/Nâ She exclaims, grabbing a bottle of water near her, she helps you sit, making you wince in the process, and you drink the whole bottle, your throat thanking you.
âHeyâ You say once you started breathing normally again, your voice raspy from not being used. Alex grins, tears already threatening to spill.
âHeyâ She says, holding your hand tightly. You could see the dark circle under her eyes, your girl didnât have a nice night.
âI feel like crapâ You sigh. Alex runs her fingers through your hair, making it hard not to close your eyes.
âyeah I imagine...you almost didnât make it Y/Nâ She says, her voice cracking a bit, sighing deeply. You nod, as if you were used to almost dying situations.
âand still here I amâ You say, smiling at her, gathering all the strength you have to raise your hand and caressing her cheek, your girlfriend leans into your touch, more tears spilling, her skin missing your warmth.
âY/N-â You could see the speech coming, about you being reckless, or maybe about you not taking enough care.
âitâs not my fault you know?...they came out of nowhereâ You say quickly, holding her hand tighter at remembering the bloodbath that was that mission. Alex kisses your temple somehow sensing what you were thinking.
âI know but...I almost lost youâ She says, her voice as broken as your ribs probably are. You tried to lift her spirit, as always.
âbut you didnât, I-Iâm okayâ You said, wincing when you tried to sit, Alex huffs at your antics, smiling at bit, not a happy smile at all.
âyou said you feel like crapâ She says accusingly
âyou smile a little, I feel better alreadyâ You say, making her smile for real this time. Alex sighs, leaning to locking her lips with yours, after so much time, so much suffering, she haves the chance to kiss you again. As if her lips would contain the antidote to your pain, you could feel your body floating already, this woman really is the love of your life.
âI love youâ She says, smiling fondly at you
âAnd I love youâ You say, Alex gets up from her place walking to the door
âIâll call the doctor-â She says, remembering that you still need medical attendance
âhe can wait-â You say, pointing at your lips, with your eyes closed, tiredness invading your body. sleeping for a week wasnât enough uh?
âyou had an 8 hours surgery and have been in bed not waking up for a week, Iâm calling the doctor-â Alex says but stops when she sees you pout.
âone more?â She sighs and walks to your bed, leaning once again to meet your lips. You hummed in delight, just for groan when Alex walks away once again.
âIâll be fastâ She says smiling at you, feeling that warmth in her chest.
âdonât worry Iâll wait hereâ You say sarcastically, making her snort.
âas if you could go anywhere elseâ
âha ha, good one Danversâ

The War Followed You Home
Requested by anonymous:
âI hope requests are still open! đ so iâd like an imagine where the reader was a soldier with frank castle, and when they came back and frank lost his family she helped him with his revenge and they get romantically involved. You writing is brilliant, love you đ (Sorry for my english âș)â
Warnings: Blood (duh itâs Frank), fluff, swearing, slight angst, badass& soldier!reader (of course itâs me)
Notes: YAY FRANK MY BABY <3 This request has been sitting in my inbox for months and I finally wrote it yayÂ
What do you do when the war follows you home?Â
No, not in the metaphorical sense. In the literal âstanding in front of you in the form of your former partnerâ sense.Â
Frank Castle had no fucking clue.Â
Lieutenant *yn* *yln* was all you could ask for in a partner. She was loyal, quick witted, fierce and had a strangely good sense of humour given the circumstances they were placed in most of the time overseas. For Frank, *yn* was the only person he truly cared about whilst he was in the Marine Corps, yeah it hurt when his other team members were killed, but *yn* was the only one that wouldâve truly effected him. The two worked damn well together too and she was just as bit as heroic and self sacrificing as he was - hell sheâd been awarded the Navy Cross alongside him for gods sake.Â
But eventually Frank managed to escape the war and he was finally able to return home to his wife and children and thoughts of *yn* almost completely vanished from his mind. Almost. Heâd never really thought about what would have happened to her, heâd just assumed she wouldâve gone home to her family, or boyfriend, or kept serving.Â
What he didnât expect is that a year later sheâd be standing right in front of him in the back of a butcher which doubled as the hideout for the Mexican cartel with a lopsided grin on her face and an all too familiar glint in her eye.
âI gotta say Castle, Iâm a little hurt I wasnât invited to the barbecue.â She spoke, her eyes flitting briefly to the limp bodies strung up like livestock with meathooks piercing through their chests before looking back up at Frank.
âThe hell are you doinâ here *yln*?â He asked gruffly unable to hide the confusion and surprise that was etched across his face.
A loud shot echoed through the room with a loud bang. Frank looked over his shoulder at one of his victims who now had a fresh bullet wound in his chest, a brandished knife that wouldâve found itâs way into Frankâs neck in the next few seconds.Â
âSaving your ass, as usual.â She smirked as she lowered her gun and slid it back into her pants. âHope you arenât growing sloppy Castle.â
The sound of the front door opening made Frank snap his head towards the entrance of the store room for a few moments before he turned back to look at *yn* to see that the space that only seconds ago was occupied by *yn* was now empty.Â
âYou gotta be shitting me.â He grumbled.
âDonât look at me like that, you ainât getting any.â Frank spoke as he shoved a spoonful of cold beans into his mouth.
A whine followed.
âIâm serious Max, you got your own. Donât be a greedy shitbag.â Frank scolded as he glanced down at his unconventionally adopted dog who was currently begging for some of his food.Â
A knock at the door made Frankâs muscles tense and Max to growl deeply, his attention immediately fixated on the door. âThe fuck is this now.â Frank muttered as he dumped the beans onto the table and grabbed a small handgun off the table.Â
He gripped the door handle and ripped the door open, his gun pointed in preparation to shoot however was behind it.Â
âIs that how you greet all your guests?âÂ
âJes-â Frank cut himself off and immediately lowered his gun when he realised who it was. âHow the fuck do you know where I live?â He questioned.Â
âYou arenât exactly hard to track down Francis.â She shrugged nonchalantly as she slid past him and into his small apartment. âIâm living for the decor by the way.â She spoke as her eyes glided over the cases upon cases of weapons that were scattered around his apartment.Â
A soft gasp escaped her lips when her eyes fell on Max who was now wagging his tail in excitement. So much for being a good guard dog.Â
âHello cutie.â *yn* cooed as she knelt down to give Max a good scratch.
âYou replaced me with a dog? I donât know if I should feel offended or sad.â *yn* grinned as she glanced up at Frank who had now closed the door and was staring at her with his arms crossed.
âIâm serious *yn*, what the hell are you doing here? And donât bullshit me.â Frank answered, clearly not in the mood for her usual jokes.
âRelax, I just came home from Iran and heard about your family and figured you needed help.â She exasperated. Her features fell when she realised how insensitive she had just sounded and for the first time in her visit, she looked serious.Â
âIâm sorry by the way Frank, I canât imagine what you must be going through right now.â
âDonât give me that sympathy bullshit *yn*. I donât want it, especially from you.â Frank answered which made her roll her eyes. It may have been a year since sheâd last seen him, but he hadnât changed a bit.
âFine maybe you donât need my sympathy. But you do need my help.âÂ
âNo fucking way. There is no way in hell Iâm going to let you get dragged into this mess, Iâm doinâ this on my own.â He fired back.
âDo you realise how easily I was able to track you down Frank? If you keep going on like this it wonât be long before people who want to hurt you do as well. In case youâve forgotten, subtly isnât exactly your speciality. But it is mine. You seriously think you wouldâve gotten half of those missions done back in Afghanistan if you hadnât had me to help you plan? I sure as hell know I couldnât have done it by myself either. Thatâs why you need me. Weâre a team, always have been and always will be.â She insisted, her eyes boring deeply into his bloodshot ones.
âNo.â He shook his head. âIâve lost my family and I sure as hell ainât gonna lose the only other person I actually give a shit about.â He continued and *yn* inhaled sharply as she tried to ignore the all too familiar skip in her heart beat at his words. âJust.. just go home, back to your family.â
âI donât have a family Castle! Iâve been in foster homes since before I could walk, thatâs why I enlisted the day I turned eighteen, so I could get the hell out of the foster system. So like it or not, youâre all I got left too.âÂ
A thick silence enveloped the two soldiers as they eyed each other down. For once, Frank was at a complete loss for words. In shock at the unveiling of such personal information that *yn* had decided to conceal the whole time they had known each other.Â
Eventually, it was *yn* who broke the eye contact, glancing down at Max and giving him a final pat before shoving her hands in her jacket pockets and making her way to do the door.Â
âIâll see you in the morning Castle.â Were the only words she spoke to his frozen figure before opening the front door and shutting it gently behind her. It was only when he heard a door outside opening a few moments later that Frank snapped out of his state. Hurriedly, he followed after *yn* and swung the door open with such force it was a surprise that it didnât break.Â
His jaw nearly dropped when he saw *yn* opening the door of the apartment opposite his. The sound of his door opening made her swivel around, the seriousness in her features all but vanished as she smirked at him.
âThe hell are you doinâ now?â He grumbled. âMax.â He reprimanded his dog before *yn* could answer as Max began to chew at the fabric of his pants.
âOh shoot did I forget to mention that? I guess weâre sorta neighbours now.â She spoke innocently as she tried her best to suppress a laugh at Frankâs face.
âgânight Francis.â She continued before shutting the door behind her, leaving Frank standing numbly in the hallway with Max chewing loudly on his jean leg.Â
*yn* let out a loud breath as she exhaled, simultaneously stretching out her now stiff limbs that were aching as a result of her morning run. A sharp knock at the door caused her focus to immediately shatter. With a huff she rose to her feet, giving her back one last stretch before making the short walk to her front door.
Frank nearly did a double take when *yn* answered the door in nothing but yoga pants and a sports bra, with her face still flushed red from her morning exercise. He coughed awkwardly as he tried to refocus himself, running a hand over his buzzcut before opening his mouth to speak.
âIâm hitting the Irish Club tonight. You in?â
There was a brief moment of silence before *yn*âs lips tugged up into a smug smirk. âIs that even a question you have to ask?â
âCoffee?âÂ
âYeah.â *yn* nodded, knowing that Frankâs decision to ignore her question was a sign of his defeat. She glanced down at the lead in Frankâs hand and sure enough Max was attached at the other end.
âAnd we need to get Max a proper collar while weâre at it.â
âNo, no, no. This isnât turning into one of your little projects where you make everything over the top. Max is like me, only needs the bare essentials to get by.â
One trip to the pet store and four full bags later, it was safe to say that Frank lost that battle too.
âUnbelievable.â *yn* mumbled as she stuffed a mouthful of dry cereal into her mouth (sheâd run out of milk and didnât have Frank to go and get her more) as her eyes scanned over the words âTrial of the Centuryâ branded across the newspaper.
A loud gruff made her glance from her coffee table to see Max sitting below her, glaring at the newspaper. âI know, your dadâs an idiot.â *yn* agreed as she looked back at the article.Â
If only sheâd been there that night, she could have gotten him out of the cemetery before the cops could grab him. But no, Frank had to sneak out and go solo.Â
Three knocks at the door made her eyes dart up in surprise and Max to growl protectively at the door. Maybe it was just her, but she swore that ever since Frank had been arrested Max had gotten way more protective - as if he knew Frank was no longer there to keep an eye on her.
âComing!â She called out as she rose from the table, swallowing one last mouthful before making her way to the front door.Â
She opened it a crack, her brow furrowing in confusion as she opened it fully to reveal a well dressed blonde woman accompanied by two just as well dressed men.Â
âCan I help you?â She asked, crossing her arms in front of her chest as she eyed the three strangers warily.
âMorning, weâre so sorry to bother you but weâre looking for a Miss *yn* *yln* who is supposed to reside here?â The stockier man asked her politely.
âYouâre looking at her.â *yn* answered.Â
âY-youâre *yn* *yln*, the lieutenant?â The blonde woman spluttered in surprise as she eyed her.Â
Karen wasnât sure what she was expecting when sheâd uncovered information about the soldier that had worked alongside Frank Castle in the navy. Maybe an older woman with shorter hair and tattoos. She was certainly not expecting a very vibrant and beautiful young woman who looked exceedingly normal and if it wasnât for the few scars that peaked out underneath her sweatshirt, Karen might not have believed her.Â
âWhoâs asking?â *yn* asked suspiciously. She eyed the three of them as none of them responded for a few moments, both the stockier man and the woman exchanging looks.
âSorry about my associates-â The third man, who she had just realised was blind, began. âIâm Matt Murdock and this is Foggy Nelson and Karen Page of Nelson and Murdock. Weâre currently representing Frank Castle who we have come to believe is a past associate of yours.â Matt explained.Â
âWow, your firm must have a death wish if youâre representing Frank.â *yn* laughed in amusement.Â
âTell me about it.â Foggy grumbled under his breath which caused Karen to send him a pointed look.
âWhat do you want with me? You need to be let into his place or somethinâ?â She queried, feeling herself growing impatient with the lawyers.Â
âYou know where Frank lives?â Karen gaped.Â
âTurn around and youâll find out for yourself.â *yn* gestured to the door opposite hers.Â
âWait, Frank lives here? Opposite you?â Foggy questioned in complete disbelief.
âI know it may be hard to believe but he doesnât slum it out in a cave or something like youâd expect.â She mused as Max began to bark at the three intruders.
âMax.â *yn* scolded, turning around to reprimand him meaning she didnât notice the way Matt tensed up at the sound of the dog.
âUh, Miss *yln*, could you excuse us for a moment?â Matt suddenly spoke up which caused her to raise a brow.
âDoesnât bother me.â She shrugged before shutting the door so the three could talk in private and she could go back to her cereal.Â
âWhat was tha-â Foggy began but Matt cut him off before he could finish. âSheâs it.â
âSheâs wha-â
âSheâs the one that can help us win this case.âÂ
âOk, what makes you say that? Does she have some sort of miracle working powers that we donât know about?â Foggy answered.
âNo but she does know Frank Castle better than anyone else. She lives opposite the man for gods sake and sheâs looking after his dog so she obviously has a key to get into his apartment. Frank doesnât really seem like the trusting type, so Iâm guessing theyâd have to be pretty close.â
âOk wait.â Karen held up a hand before Matt could continue. âHow do you know thatâs his dog?â She asked which made Matt internally curse. How was he supposed to explain that in front of Karen? He couldnât exactly tell her that heâd been out roaming the streets and saved Frank from the Irish.
âHe told me when I questioned him.â Matt lied. âWait when did you go to-â
âGuys we donât have time for this.â Foggy cut her off before she could query Matt any further. âIf theyâre as close as Matt thinks, we need to figure out the best way of convincing her to help us.â
âLeave that to me.â Matt replied before pushing the unlocked front door open.
âMiss *yln*, may we come in?â He asked politely.
âBe my guest.â She gestured as she chewed her cereal. âI know itâs not much, but it does the job.â She spoke, referring to the small apartment that was only two rooms - the bathroom and then the kitchen, living room and bedroom all in one small square.Â
Karen glanced around, the apartment was extremely sparse with the only sort of decorations being dog toys lying on the floor and a few photos stuck to the fridge. Which upon closer inspection, Karen could see were photos of *yn* in her naval uniform alongside other soldiers - and right alongside her in every single photo - Frank.
The three lawyers shuffled in awkwardly, all of them taking a seat around the small coffee table that *yn* was situated at. *yn* eyed them as they moved, not bothering to offer them a drink. She had a feeling they wouldnât be here long.
âSo Miss *yln*, youâve known Frank Castle for quite a while?â Matt asked, breaking the silence.
âYeah, couple of years.â She nodded.Â
âAnd you served with him overseas?âÂ
âYep.â She answered, popping the âpâ nonchalantly. âWhat was your role in the Navy?âÂ
âClassified.âÂ
âWhat missions were you apart of?â
âClassified.â She repeated, letting out a small sigh of frustration. âWould you say youâre relationship with-â
âLook, can we just cut the shit and get to the point? What the hell do you want from me?â She snapped as Max pawed at her leg pleadingly as he eyed the cereal.
âWell I can certainly see why theyâre friends.â Foggy mumbled under his breath but not quiet enough to escape *yn*âs ears.
âWhat was that, asshole?â *yn* hissed at him which made a look of pure fear spread across Foggyâs face.
âUm I- I just uh-â Foggy stuttered as his body froze.
âThe point is that we need your help with Frankâs case.â Karen interrupted before Foggy could dig himself into a deeper hole. The mention of Frank made *yn*âs focus to completely shift from Foggy onto Karen.
âHe⊠heâs not exactly⊠willing to help us help him.â Karen continued when she realised she had *yn*âs complete attention. âWeâve tried to convince him that PTSD is the best chance of him getting a lighter sentence-â *yn*âs loud snort cut Karen off as she shook her head.
âGood luck with that, there is no way in hell Frankâll run with that. Itâs insulting not just to him seeing as he doesnât have it but to the people who actually suffer from it.âÂ
âYeah, thatâs exactly what he said.â Karen murmured.
âMiss *yln*, we arenât here to ask you to convince him to use PTSD, but we are here to ask you if you can give us any names of anyone whoâs credible and could testify in Frankâs name.â
âFrank hasnât given you any?â She asked as she grabbed a piece of cereal and bent down to give it to Max.
âNo⊠weâve all tried but he refuses.â Karen admitted.Â
âIâll think about it, if Frank doesnât want names, I donât know if I could go behind his back.âÂ
There was a pause as Karen and Foggy exchanged glances and Matt clenched his fists, desperation clearly written across all of there features.Â
âYou know⊠recently there have been a few reported sightings of someone with Frank while heâs been⊠well you know.â Karen began. âAnd thereâs been talk of it being a woman with apparent military training, and if it was revealed that youâre living across the hall from Mr Castle⊠well it wouldnât take a genius to put two and two together.âÂ
âAre you threatening me, Ms Page?â *yn* hissed, her eyes narrowing into slits as she eyeballed the blonde woman. âBecause I sincerely hope for your sake that you arenât.â
âWe arenât going to do anything like that Ms *yln*, Karen is just a bit on edge, we all are, our firmâs future is riding on the outcome of this case.â
âWell you shouldâve thought of that before you agreed to take Frank on.â *yn* spat, her eyes flashing dangerously as she glared at Matt.
âListen Ms *yln*, we arenât going to force you to do anything. But without an authoritative alibi, thereâs no chance for Frank and heâll spend the rest of his life behind bars. Hell, the DAâs pushing for the death penalty.âÂ
There was a moment of silence as *yn* soaked in Mattâs words. Matt and Karen exchanged nervous glances and held their breath as the silence hung over them threateningly. *yn* inhaled deeply, briefly shooting Karen a resentful look before glancing back at Matt.
âColonel Ray Schoonover.â
The second the words left her lips Karen frantically scribbled the name down on her notepad. âHe was our commanding officer, you couldnât get a better alibi.â
âThank you, and Iâm so sorry for-âÂ
âI want to testify too.â *yn* cut Karen off as she glanced between the three lawyers. âTwo alibis is better than one.â
At her words the lawyers once again glanced at each other, guilt and worry spread across their features. âWhat?â She asked.
âMs *yln*, when we spoke to Frank and mentioned you⊠well he- he was pretty adamant that you werenât to be involved in any way. In fact he told us to not even contact you but we grew so desperate we had no other options.â Foggy admitted to her nervously.
âWell luckily for you, I donât listen to anything Frank tells me to do.âÂ
âAny further questions?â
âNo your honour.âÂ
âDo the defendants have any further witnesses?â The judge asked, turning to look at Foggy, Karen and Matt.
âYes, your honour.â Matt nodded as he rose from his seat and buttoned his suit jacket up.
âWhat the hell do you  mean you got another witness?â Frank hissed to Karen, who simply gave him a warning look before turning her attention back to Matt.
âIâd like to call Lieutenant *yn* *yln* to the stand.âÂ
Murmurs broke out amongst the crowd when *yn* rose up from her seat, everyone clearly taken aback at seeing a young woman. Matt couldnât help but smirk when he saw Samantha Reyes desperately scrambling around her desk with her lawyer, clearly not expecting another witness.
*yn* swallowed nervously, fully aware that all eyes were on her as she made her way up to take a seat near the judge. She inhaled a breath as she turned to face the full courtroom, adjusting herself in the seat nervously. She stole a quick glance at Frank to see him staring at her completely dumbfounded before she reverted her gaze back to Matt.Â
During her questioning, *yn* answered every question Matt asked her perfectly. Talking about her close friendship with Frank, explaining how loyal he was, even tearing up at the perfect moment about how he saved a young civilian boy from harm. It was safe to say that *yn* delivered a witness statement lawyers dreamed of.
Meanwhile, whilst Frank should have been worrying about his sentence, he instead found himself wandering how heâd never noticed how beautiful *yn* was before. Maybe because heâd subconsciously trained himself not to notice it because they were professional colleagues, or because heâd only had eyes for his wife, or because heâd never seen her dressed up. Maybe, it was a combination of all three.Â
âNo further questions your honour.â Matt finished, sending *yn* a nod of encouragement before taking a seat back at the bench.Â
âDoes the prosecution wish to question the witness?â The judge asked.
âWe would, your honour.â Reyes nodded, standing up from her bench before approaching *yn*.
âLieutenant, how long would you say that youâve known Mr Castle?â
âAbout eight years.â
âAnd how did you find Mr Castle as a person?â Reyes queried.
âHe was one of the most focused and dedicated people Iâve ever met. He was and still is entirely devoted to protecting this country. He always put me and our other team mates before himself, heâs a true hero and no one can convince me other wise.â
âSo would you say that you and Mr Castle wereâŠclose?â Reyes queried as she began to pace around *yn*.
âDefine âclose.ââ *yn* answered back, ensuring to keep her face neutral of emotions.Â
âDid you talk often? stay in close proximity of each other?â
âHe was my partner so of course we were close. We spent nearly every second together when we were serving. We had to know everything about each other in order to have each others backs.â
âNow⊠you say you and Mr Castle were close, but was there ever anything more between the two of you? Beyond friendship?â Reyes asked and the question made *yn*âs face flush red in surprise.
âObjection! Your honour, how does this have any relevancy to the  trial at hand?â Matt sprung up from his seat in protest.
âIs there a point, Ms Reyes?âÂ
âThere is your honour, I promise.â
âWell make it quick then.âÂ
*yn* saw Matt grimace out of the corner of her eye as he slunk back into his chair in defeat. With that Reyes cleared her throat once more and begun to speak.Â
âPlease answer the question, Miss *yln*.â
âOf course nothing ever happened, he is- was married at the time.â *yn* fired back, her eyes blazing with anger as she glared at the woman.
âMr Castle may have been married, but that doesnât stop feelings from growing. You spent so long together, it would only be natural. Did you ever develop romantic feelings towards Mr Castle? Remember that you are under oath Lieutenant.âÂ
There was a tense pause as *yn* stared back at Reyes defiantly, painfully aware of Frankâs eyes burning into the side of her head as everyone in the room waited breathlessly for her response.Â
âI did develop feelings for Frank, but I never acted on them and made sure they didnât interfere with my work.â *yn* finally admitted after a few moments of painful silence.Â
âRight, and would you say those feelings are still there?â
âI refuse to answer that.â *yn* snapped back as her cheeks turned a dangerous shade of red in embarrassment.Â
âYour Honour, how can we let the jury listen to this account when Ms *yn* is clearly biased towards Mr Castle? Of course she is not going to say anything incriminating against a man sheâs in love with!â
After that statement the courtroom broke into chaos as Matt stood up to protest her statement and *yn* too began to shout at the prosecutor. âI never said I loved him you lying piece of-â
âOrder! Order!â The judge bellowed, banging the gavel loudly to silence the now noisy courtroom.Â
âMs Reyes, Iâm afraid your request to strike this witnesses account has absolutely no merit to it. Now, do you have any further questions for the witness?â
âNo, your honour.â Reyes huffed, glaring at *yn* in defeat as she slunk back to her seat.Â
âAm I free to go?â *yn* queried, staring up at the judge as she desperately tried to blink back the tears threatening to surface.
âYou may go, miss.â The judge nodded flashing her a look of what seemed to be sympathy towards her as she rose from her seat. Sniffing, she kept her eyes fixed on the ground as she stormed out of the room and into the courthouse, fully aware that everyoneâs gaze was locked onto her.
By the time she had got home, what felt like a litre of tears had already washed down her cheeks. Sucking in a breath she turned on the tv and flicked it to the news as Max stirred and came bounding over to say hello.Â
âYou fucking asshole.â The words slipped past her lips as she looked at the screen in front of her.Â
CASTLE FOUND GUILTY AND SENTENCED TO LIFE FOLLOWING THREATENING OUTBURST IN COURT.
The news headline starred back at her as she watched the tv segment in complete shock. He had done it on purpose. She didnât know why, but he had. After completely humiliating herself, Frank had put himself in jail.Â
Clenching her jaw she glanced down at Max who looked up at her lovingly, completely unaware of his ownerâs fate.Â
âHow do you feel about a vacation Max? A long one.âÂ
âNow that was a good walk wasnât it Maxxy?â *yn* cooed as she scaled up the numerous stairs to reach her apartment. âWhat do you say we have some dinner and then watch some shitty reality tv?â She asked, grinning at the panting dog as she pulled the key out of her exercise leggings and opened the door as she took off Maxâs lead.Â
The second the door opened, Max sprinted inside into the dark apartment. Shivering slightly as the crisp night air hit her bare skin, *yn* blindly felt around for the light before flicking the switch to illuminate her new apartment.
âJesus fu-â She cut herself as her eyes fell on none other than Frank fucking Castle sitting on her arm chair in the corner of the living room.Â
âHow in the fuck did you find me Castle? I moved all the way across town.â She snapped.
âGuess I learnt a few tips from the best.â
âWhat do you want?â *yn* asked, ignoring his playful town as she turned and made her way into the kitchen.Â
âTo talk, plus you kinda stole my dog.âÂ
âI didnât steal him. You abandoned him when you put yourself in jail. And I donât want to talk.â She dismissed him as she grabbed a bottle of water from the fridge and began to gulp the liquid down.
âThatâd be a first.â He joked.Â
When there was nothing but silence he let out a small sigh when he realised how truly pissed off she really was. With a wince that made her finally glance up, he rose to his feet to make his way towards her. When he stumbled over *yn* finally realised that something was wrong.Â
Dumping her bottle to the side she hurried towards him and grabbed him before he fell on his face. âJesus christ Frank.â She hissed when she noticed the large cherry stain on the front of his purple dress shirt. âSit down.â She instructed, pushing him back into the arm chair before hurrying into the bathroom and grabbing her medical kit from under the sink. She hurried back into the living room to see Frank had already unbuttoned his shirt and was sitting and waiting expectantly for her.
The pair sat in silence as she crouched to her knees and began to work systematically on his stab wound. If she had a dime everytime sheâd had to patch Frank upâŠ. shaking her head at this thought she bit her lip as she threaded the needle and began to stitch his wound.
âHow did you even escape?â She asked quietly, unable to stop herself any longer.
âA man in prison, he had information about who killed my family.â
âThatâs whyâŠâ *yn* trailed off in realisation before ceasing her movements and looking up at Frank. âWhy didnât you tell me?âÂ
âI didnât want you involved anymore. I couldnât stand the thought of seeing you hurt. Jusâ wanted to keep you safe.â He admitted gruffly which caused *yn* to swallow and flicker her gaze back to his wound.Â
She spent the rest of the time stitching in silence as she tried to process the words Frank had just uttered. Her mind couldnât help but wander to that fateful day in court when she had basically admitted her feelings for him right to his face. Could it be possible that he felt the same way? Eventually *yn* finished stitching his wound and rose to her feet to put her medical kit back in the bathroom, her head still swimming as she walked. When she returned, she was surprised to see Frank back on his feet and his shirt rebuttoned.
âYou shouldnât be standing.â She murmured as she took a few steps back, her eyes widening slightly as he mirrored her foot movements.Â
âItâs over.â
Silence rung out throughout the cramped apartment.
âWhat do you mean-âÂ
âTheyâre all dead. Every last one of those bastards.âÂ
Swallowing, *yn* folded her arms in front of her middle, squared her shoulders and nodded stiffly. âWhat are you gonna do now?âÂ
âWell I used to have a pretty hot neighbour that lived across the hallway from me, I was thinkinâ I could try and find a way to convince her to join me for coffee.âÂ
Rolling her eyes, *yn* forced a scoff to emit from her throat as she turned around to hide her blush and smile from Frank.Â
âWell if you take her to that diner that serves that hideously black coffee, sheâll probably leave the country.â She remarked as she grabbed the bottle of water and bent down to put it back into the fridge.Â
âYeah, but then I guess Iâd just have to follow her round till she said yes.âÂ
*yn* couldnât help but jump slightly as she turned around to find herself practically chest to chest with Frank, who had moved so quietly she hadnât heard him move behind her.Â
âOh so youâre a stalker now?â
âHey, Iâm just following the example set by you.âÂ
âOh you did not just call me a stalker! You know it was to help y-â
*yn* however never got to finish her sentence. Why? Because Frank Castle had hastily pressed his chapped lips against hers, cradling her face in his large and calloused hands. Before she could even process what was happening, his lips had left hers and he seemed to be just as surprised as her by his own actions.Â
âSorry I shoulda asked for permission before I-â
This time Frank was the one that was cut off by *yn*âs lips smashing back against his. His eyes fluttered closed as he gingerly kissed back, the feeling of her lips finally against his felt damn close to euphoric. After a few moments, *yn* reluctantly pulled away, her breath ragged as she eyed the man in front of her up and down.Â
âIâm still pissed at you, just so you know.â She remarked which caused a small chuckle to escape the back of Frankâs throat.
âGuess Iâm gonna have to find a way to make it up to you, huh?âÂ
âGuess you will, lieutenant.â *yn* grinned before leaning up to capture his lips in another hungry kiss.Â
So, what do you do when the war follows you home?
Well, in Frankâs case, you welcome her back with open arms and do your best not to piss her off. Oh, and having a cute dog is preferable too.Â
I really hope you lovelies all enjoyed this fic!!! I am honestly so happy with it x As always, positive feedback is always appreciated which you can give back here :)

I'm so shy so requesting things, but I'd be very grateful if you'd write a Kuzan (nsfw)scenario, where he'd meet up with a figure from his past. A person that wasn't necessary on the same side as him but they had a spark that would still live beneath
Btw I didnât have enough room to fit this in my Kuzan-ask butyour stuff is awesome! Like my god, really good :D
Hey lovely! Iâm so sorry that itâs so late, this request hasbeen in my inbox for forever and I decided to answer this one first, since it would only be fair! Unfortunately I donât include nsfw inscenarios (because I suck at it xd), but I hope that you still likeit and that the long wait was worth it xD
Kuzan scenario
~*~
ââŠThere is something Iâll never get to do though.â Kuzanâs lazy gaze wandered to the young marine in training that was sitting next to him, and he raised an eyebrow in expectation at them. âMh? And what would that be now?â The marine lowered their gaze and stared at the grass before them, while a small smile found its way onto their face. âAs of now, itâs unimportant. Iâll let you know when the right time has come.â
~*~
Of course Kuzan wasnât familiar with the random island he set footon. He was on a small âvacationâ, and since he had no real plan on what to do, he just went wherever the sea would guide him. And that was basically how he stumbled upon this smallisland. It really was a
small
island, with an even smaller town-which could almost be described as a village- but in its own weirdway it had some kind of recognizable charm. Plus, small islands oftenmeant no big trouble, aka a good place to relax. And that wasbasically what Kuzan was looking for right now.
So while he walked through the streets without really knowingwhere he was heading, he kept his eyes open for a place peaceful andquiet enough to take a nap. He has been travelling for a few days after all, and on every other island he came across so far was something that kept him from being able to fully relax or enjoy some peace. But this island seemed to be able to provide just that, plus, there was something about this place that gave him a pleasant nostalgic feeling for no apparent reason- and he somewhat enjoyed that.
But shortly after he started to stroll through the streets he started to worry that he might notbe able to be at peace after all. Something, or rather someone, was interfering. He already noticed the pair of eyes that drilled into his back shortly after he set foot on the island, and atfirst he didnât mind or care⊠He was used to people staring at him or being intimidated by the presence of an admiral, so he just shrugged it off as someone whowas probably confused as to why he would be on this small island. But the more he walked through the village, the more observed he felt. Certainly, this wasnât just a randomcivilian confused or intimated by the presence of an admiral, butsomeone who had some kind of intention. Or why else would the feelingof being watched not leave? Of course Kuzan wouldnât confront theunknown stalker just now, mainly because he still hoped that they might lose interest until hereached the desired peaceful spot. Last thing he was interested inwas to ruin the peaceful mood of this island and get involved in trouble before taking his nap.
Yes, he just wanted to relax and spend some time away from work, by himself, that was all. But now he did have to admit that the eyes burning intohis back started to make him slightly uncomfortable. He tried toshrug it off once more as his mind was set on finding a comfortableplace. And finally, when his gaze wandered past the small stores, bars, and houses once more he spotted a small hill not far away; probably only one or two miles from the village. The hill seemed to be covered with all kinds of flowers and grasses, and something about that view gave Kuzan a pleasant, almost familiar feeling.
His eyes were locked on that spot, and his mind focussed on getting there that he didnât notice the small figure that approached him and âaccidentallyâ bumped into him. His gaze immediately seperatedfrom the hill and moved down to look at whoever he ran into. The person was slightly taller than an average human, but still a lot shorter than Kuzan, and a dark cloak covered their body, almost as if they didnât want to get noticed but did a miserable job at that. Maybe they wereoutlaws. Thiefs. Or pirates, even. But whatever they were it wasnât any of his businessanyway. Kuzanâs gaze moved down and for a brief moment he locked eyes with the stranger. It was only a second or so that he looked into their (E/C) eyes, but in that small second, he realized who he was standing before. â(Y/N)?â
~*~
âIf you donât take this serious, then why are you even here?!â Kuzan quickly jumped to the side as the other marine in training lunged at him once more. âEveryone here is trying their best and what do you do?! Take naps whenever you feel like it!â (Y/N) tried to punch Kuzan once more, but he easily dodged their attempt to slam their fists into his face. Their eyes were filled with rage and frustration, and that one familiar spark they always had when they were excited over something, no matter if it was positive or negative. âMy, my⊠You really must enjoy causing trouble, huh? Or do you just like picking fights with me all the time?â Kuzan lazily replied as he dodged them once more. It wasnât the first time they started an argument with him during their training time as future marines, and he almost got used to their fists being aimed at him. He couldnât understand why they were always so focussed on picking a fight with him and taunting him whenever they had the opportunity. But suddenly, they stopped their assault on him and lowered their gaze. âYou donât get it⊠Do you?â Without even looking at him once more, they turned around and ran away. Kuzan let out a tired sigh and fought with himself on whether he should follow them or not for a second, before he headed in the same direction they took of to.
~*~
It was the small spark in their eyes that gave them away. The same spark that he has seen so often during his time as a marine in training, mostly before their fists were about to collide with his face. No doubt, this was (Y/N). They were both in the same training unit and spend years of picking fights and provocating each other together. Despite them often having disagreements, Kuzan considered (Y/N) a close friend. Someone you could talk to. Someone you could have fun with (on occasions). And someone you could listen to without getting bored. If they were in a good mood, that is. Yes, they were close. And that is why Kuzan never understood why they just left one day. Kuzan remembered how they just left a note on their bed that day, saying that they would quit the training, and were never seen again. He continued to remember them for a long time, but as the years passed by the memory of them got more and more foggy until it almost completely vanished. But looking into their eyes made him remember all the time they spend together in an instant. But why? Why were they here?
â(Y/N)?â Kuzan repeated, looking down at them in a more stern way now. The person looked back up at him again and this time he was able to take a good look at their face. No doubt, it was them. âWell well. If it isnât Aokiji, admiral of the marinesâŠâ They slowly grabbed the hood of their cloak and pulled it back, fully showing their face and a cocky smirk at him. âQuite the reunion, eh? How long has it been? Over twenty years at least, huh?â Kuzan continued to stare at them in disbelief, he still couldnât grasp the fact that they were really here, standing before him. (Y/N) let out a small laugh at his confused face before turning around and walking away.
âI bet you wanna talk or something, but this isnât quite the fitting place. Follow me.â Kuzan quickly snapped out of his confusion and shrugged while placing his hands in the pockets of his pants and following them. They both didnât say another word on their walk, and after only a few steps Kuzan realized where they were taking him. To the hill. The hill. Of course! Thatâs where the nostalgic feeling came from! This wasnât just a random island he has never set foot on before, this was the island where he and (Y/N) used to train as marine cadets! And the hill⊠The hill was were they had their last real conversation.
~*~
âYouâre a real idiot if you think that youâre ever gonna move anything with that attitude of yours.â After the young Kuzan catched up to (Y/N) on top of the small hill next to their training camp, they gestured to him that he should sit down with them. âYou know, I donât hate you.â They both just stared at the vast ocean before them, which appeared to be almost orange due to the sunset. âIn fact, I do like you. But your attitude and all⊠It just fills me with rage sometimes.â (Y/N) shuffled a bit closer to Kuzan, their gaze never leaving the sea. âYouâre good at so much, without even putting much effort in it. And Iâm always working so hard to keep up with you, but I never manage to. Sometimes I wonder if this really is what I want. I had the choice, I could have become whatever I wanted to be, but I decided to be a marine. I start to regret it, you know?â Kuzan lazily nodded before moving backwards a bit and lying his upper body against the ground. âI still have the chance to do something else. To make things different. Maybe Iâm not supposed to be a marine.â Kuzanâs gaze wandered towards (Y/N)âs form once more and he let out a small yawn. âThen go. And persuade your dreams, huh? If thatâs what you want.â (Y/N) started to smile and nodded in agreement. It was silent for moment, before (Y/N) spoke once more. ââŠThere is something Iâll never get to do though.â Kuzanâs lazy gaze wandered to the young marine in training that was sitting next to him, and he raised an eyebrow in expectation at them. âMh? And what would that be now?â The marine lowered their gaze and stared at the grass before them, while a small smile found its way onto their face. âAs of now, itâs unimportant. Iâll let you know when the right time has come.â
~*~
âSo you were the one that followed me, huh?â Kuzan asked as he sat down next to (Y/N). âYep. As soon as you set foot on the island. I couldnât believe my eyes at first, you know? I thought âis that really him? Why the hell shows that idiot up now?ââ (Y/N) smiled at Kuzan, who decided to lay down on the ground. âI had my eyes on this place, you know.â (Y/N) giggled and playfully punched his side. âTo take a nap, I bet.â Kuzan just lazily nodded his head in agreement. âYou know⊠Iâm sorry that I left like that. But I had to. I moved back home to my family. And there I decided to work as a barkeeper. It was something⊠I always kinda dreamed of.â Kuzan sighed and shook his head. âFrom marine in training to barkeeper huh? Didnât expect that. But why were you here today?â (Y/N)âs gaze wandered over the ocean before them and they quickly shrugged. âDonât know. Something kinda drew me to this place, but I wasnât sure if it was still used as marine training base. So I decided to wear this cloak, just in case some old fella from our training time might recognize me.â They let out a loud laugh at that foot and glanced at the ground in embarassement. âMan, years mustâve made me paranoid.â A small smile hushed over Kuzanâs face and he once more nodded in agreement. âSeems like it.â And once more, it was silent. It wasnât an unpleasant silence, it felt more like both were expecting the other one to say something. And then, (Y/N) let out a sigh and spoke up once more. âYou know, there is something I never got to do though.â Kuzan slowly raised his head as he remembered having head that line once before. âMh? And what would that be now?â (Y/N) turned their head and grinned at him for a moment, before moving forward and quickly pressing their lips against his for a second. When they seperated again, Kuzan gave them a somewhat bewildered, but at the same time amused, look. At the sight of his face, (Y/N) let out a loud laugh and leant forward to press their forehead against his. âThat.âAAAAAAAAND THATâS A WRAP :p! I HOPE ITâS NOT TOO OOC BUT IâM JUST STILL NOT USED TO WRITING FOR HIM AHHHH XD It was kinda longer than usual, and I feel like I rushed it at some point, but I still hope that you were able to enjoy it :D!

SPARIA: PART ONE
Hey guys! So, I decided to make this into a short, multi-chapter fic instead of just a one-shot. I will post this on FF.net and Ao3 at some point during the day tomorrow. Feel free to flood my inbox with feedback!
Title: The Story of Us Characters: Spencer Hastings, Aria Montgomery, Hanna Marin, Emily Fields, Alison DiLaurentis, Mona Vanderwaal, Ezra Fitz Fandom: Pretty Little Liars Rating: M Trigger warnings: sex, cheating/affairs, etc Summary: In which Aria turns up at Spencerâs one  hot summer night after being unable to sleep. They have a long-overdue conversation, which blossoms into something so much more..
No! No, please!â
Spencer was crouched over Hannaâs lifeless body. Her skull had been crushed in with something sharp, like a fireplace poker. Blood poured around her head, and it was caked in her hair. âHanna, p-please!â But she knew it was useless. Hanna was dead.
And so wasâŠ
Emily - it looked like she had been strangled.
Alison - she had been stabbed so many times in her face, neck and chest that it was hard to tell which wound had killed her.
The air around her was cold. Spencer was deep in the woods behind the Lost Woods Resort, surrounded by the bodies of her best friends.
Except for one.
Aria stood just a few feet away. Her black hoodie was ripped and even in the dark Spencer could see the blood splattered all over it. Her left hand held the bloodied knife and fireplace poker. Her right hand was clenched tightly around a rope.
Spencerâs eyes flitted up to Ariaâs face â it was blank, completely devoid of any emotion. âA-Aria,â Spencerâs voice cracked. âHow â how could you?â
Aria shrugged carelessly. âYou havenât even seen my best work yet. Wait for it.â
Bang!
Spencer shot up in bed, gasping for air. Her bangs were matted to her forehead with sweat, and her heart was beating rapidly in her chest. Her eyes darted around the room as she breathed deeply, trying to force her body to calm itself down. It took a moment for Spencer to realize the continued banging was someone knocking on the barnâs front door. She glanced at the digital clock on her nightstand â 1:25A.M. Who the hell was knocking at this hour?
 Bang!   Â
âOkay, hold on! Jesus!â Spencer called out. She stumbled out of bed and over to the front door. Through the glass panels she could Aria. Spencerâs brow furrowed and she flung the door open. âAria? What are you doing here?â
âI couldnât sleep,â Aria mumbled. âEzra and I had a fight and he ÂŹâ â she trailed off as she noticed Spencerâs current state. âAre you OK?â
Spencer moved to the side to let Aria in. She shut the door behind her and locked it. âIâm fine. I just had a nightmare.â
Aria slipped off her coat and hung it on the rack next to the door. âAbout what?â she asked, kicking off her boots and walking into the spacious living room.
Spencer frowned. âUhâŠâ She paused to follow Aria and sat down next to her on the couch. âI dreamt I was back in high school and only got accepted to seven out of the eight Ivy League Schools.â
It wasnât exactly a total lie. She did have that dream once. When she was twelve.
Aria stared at her. âHow tragic,â she teased.
There was a long stretch silence between them. It was comfortable, if not just a little tense.
âSo,â Spencer cleared her throat and grabbed the remote to the TV off the coffee table. âWhat did you and Ezra fight about?â she asked, as she turned on the television and changed the input from HDMI1 to HDMI3.
âI donât really want to talk about it,â Aria grumbled. âSorry for waking you up, by the way.â
âDonât worry about it. Iâm glad I was woken up anyway,â Spencer shrugged. She opened the little compartment in her sectional couch that separated the two armchairs, removed two controllers, and passed one off to Aria. âWe may not be able to save Rosewood from our conniving little tormentor, but we sure as hell can save Princess Peach.â
âWhat?â Aria grinned. She glanced at the controller in her hand. âYouâre not serious?â
Spencer setup the game and turned to Aria. âI happen to take my princess-saving, dinosaur-ass-kicking duties very seriously.â
âWhatever you say, Spence. Whatever you say.â
âââââââââââââââââââââââââââââââââââââââââââââââââââââââââââââ
âWait, so am I the green guy or the red guy?â Ariaâs eyes followed the little digital man on the TV screen on front of her. She and Spencer had only been playing one of the âMarioâ games for a couple minutes, but Aria was already lost.
âYouâre Luigi,â Spencer explained calmly. âRemember?â
âIs that the red guy?â
Spencer sighed. âNo, Ari. Mario is the one with the red hat. Luigi is the one with the green hat.â
Aria smiled. ââAri,ââ she repeated. âYou havenât called me that since we were kids..â
âIâm the only one who has ever called you that,â Spencer smirked. âRemember what happened when Hanna did?â She took her eyes off the screen to glance at Aria.
âYeah,â Aria nodded. She pressed the buttons on her controller to move Luigi forward so she could catch up to Spencerâs Mario. âYou told her continuous use of lotion would absorb into her skin and infect her bloodstream and sheâd die.â
Spencer grinned. âShe shouldnât have used my nickname for you.â On screen, Mario jumped over a mushroom enemy.
âShe cried, Spencer,â Aria said with a hint of fondness in her tone, but amusement leaked through.
âGood.â
âDamn it!â Aria cursed as Luigi fell through a gap from one platform to the next. âI keep dying.â
âYou suck,â Spencer giggled.
âShut up!â Aria shoved Spencer and snatched her controller out of her hands.
âHey!â Spencer squealed. âGive it back!â
âMake me,â Aria taunted playfully.
Spencer glared at Ari and pounced on her. The two tumbled over and Spencer wound up pinning Aria beneath her. Almost as if by reflex, Spencerâs hands moved to lock Ariaâs arms to her side.
âI win,â she smirked triumphantly.
Aria stared up at Spencer. The controller her slipped from her hand long ago and had fallen somewhere on the floor. But all she could see, all she was able to focus on, was Spencerâs beautiful brown eyes. Beautiful? Her mind echoed. âU-uh, youâre kind of squishing m-me,â she choked out.
But Spencer was also lost in her best friendâs eyes. God, Aria was stunning. Her body seemed to melt against Ariaâs like they were made for each other; like their bodies were two puzzle pieces snapping together to form a breathtaking image.
âSpencer,â Aria squeaked. âG-get off.â
Spencer broke out of her trance-like stare and shook her head. âSorry,â she mumbled. âSometimes I forget how tiny you are.â But she didnât move away. Instead she brought her right hand up and gently traced Ariaâs lips with the tips of her fingers.
Tingles danced down Ariaâs spine. Spencerâs fingers on her lips made her nerves crack, her stomach swoop, and her heart beat a taboo against her chest. Â She shut her eyes and inhaled slowly. Maybe when she opened her eyes she would see how silly she was being? âAria..â
Aria opened her eyes. Spencer was smiling down at her with such a warm, caring smile that Aria could have sworn her insides turned mushy. âSpencerâŠâ
And then their lips were connected. Spencer had pressed her lips to Ariaâs in a tentative kiss, and Aria immediately lost her fingers in Spencerâs thick tresses and kissed her back. Their kiss felt like nothing either girl had ever experienced before. It was heated, it was passionate, it was so wonderfully electric that Aria could hear her blood pumping through her veins, and Spencer could practically feel the neurons in her brain firing.
Finally the need for oxygen became too great to ignore, and they broke apart, panting.
âIâŠâ Spencer started.
âWhat..â Aria began.
The girls burst into nervous laughter, and Spencer brushed her fingers down Ariaâs cheek. She tucked a lock of hair behind her ear. âThat wasâŠâ
âAmazing?â Aria breathed out. âI â I mean, sorry..â
âDonât be,â Spencer swallowed.
Silence.
And then Aria locked her arms around the back of Spencerâs neck and pulled her down for another kiss. This time it was feverish. It was almost desperate; like a craving neither of them realized they had. Aria dipped her hands under Spencerâs shirt and danced her fingers up Spencerâs back.
âMmm,â Spencer sighed against her lips. Was this really happening? Ariaâs fingers paused in their motion and Spencer, sensing her hesitation, pulled back to pull off her shirt. She threw it to the side and tugged on the hem of Ariaâs shirt, and locked eyes with her in a questioning gaze.
Aria nodded. She watched in fascination as Spencerâs hands disappeared under her shirt. Her heart thumped in her chest as Spencerâs nails raked down her back, only coming to a stop at the clasp of her bra.
âCan I?â Spencer swallowed. She had to be dreaming. There was no way she was about to remove the bra of the one woman she had been in love with since high school. Right?
âPlease,â Aria breathed, her tone breaking on the last letter.
Spencer unhooked Ariaâs bra and it fell away, revealing Ariaâs chest. She reached behind herself and removed her own bra. She normally didnât wear a bra to bed, but had been too tired to take it off before she had turned in earlier.
Aria ran her tongue over her teeth. Spencer may have had a small chest, but the girl had a serious set of abs. She ran her fingers over Spencerâs core and felt the taller girl shiver beneath her touch, which sent a rush of heat between her legs. Shit.
Spencer caught Ariaâs hand and brought it up to her lips. She kissed each finger, her gaze never once breaking from Ariaâs.
Aria swallowed hard. âItâs really hot in here, d-donât you think?â
Spencer smirked. âOh, is it? I bet you would feel cooler if took off your pajama pants.â
Aria grinned. âHelp me?â
Spencer smiled. âIâd love to.â She shimmied out of her own pajama pants and underwear, then eased Aria out of hers. âWow,â Spencer exhaled. âYouâre..youâre beautiful, Aria..â
Ariaâs cheeks flushed. âNot as beautiful as you.â
Spencer sat up and held out her hand. Her eyes were dark with lust but her heart was so full of love Spencer thought it would burst. âI-Iâve been dreaming about this for so long, Aria,â she confessed.
Aria leaned in for a kiss and rested her forehead against Spencerâs. âMe too,â she admitted. And it was in that moment that she realized she had. Denial was a powerful defense mechanism, but Aria was finally ready to stop bottling up her feelings. âCan we move to your bed?â
âOn one condition,â Spencer smiled.
âAnything,â Aria promised.
âPaint me like one of your French girls.â
