儺(nuó)舞(wǔ) actually refer to a very very old ritual dance

The purpose is to cleanse & exorcise spirits , turn disaster in to blessing, bless for safety, prayers of good fortune

And his mask is called “Nuo mask” is the essential part of the ritual dance, as he , in the very moment become this “entity/role” , so to speak

Nuo mask is an important part of Chinese Nuo culture, and it is also a kind of Chinese tradition. bito- about; ronghua: ever since i left inazuma, i haven't been one to... take care of myself, as some would say. ronghua has helped me with these things. i really do appreciate her for all she's done... even if i can't pay her back the way i would like to. i just hope she knows i care for her.

satoru- about; ronghua: lady ronghua, i remember her! ah, what a lovely time i had showing her the sights of narukami island.. *cough* ahem... i may have embarrassed myself with my rather forward actions sometimes but i really did have a good time! i do hope she comes back to visit again, i'd love to show her some new dishes i've learned how to make....

i feel so terrible when i don’t reply to asks but i want to assure everyone who’s asks are marinating rn: i read every ask i ever receive. every single one. whether it’s a hate anon, a request, oc brainrot, literally anything- i read them all. and i love receiving them. hell if you’re a returning anon who just likes to talk to me about things or a mutual sending brainrot or literally anyone who has ever sent me an ask, you have made my day. words cannot describe how happy i feel whenever i open tumblr dot com in the morning and i see that little red dot on my inbox.

in short, you will never ever bother me by sending asks!! it’s literally my favorite part about this website. but when i answer asks i want to make sure i’m giving enough energy back and i want to make sure that it’s super mega ultra clear that i read and appreciated the ask that i’m answering, but this does take a lot of energy and that’s something i rlly have been lacking the past few days

Max Mittelman (his VA) must have such a blast recording for such character bc I can guarantee each line is just gold.Max did such an excellent job on expressing Itto’s personality, it’s really fun to listen.
