I don't know who it was, but someone adapted this from the anime ending of Sonic the Hedgehog CD--I made the full anime ending into an animated GIF, and it is here.

here's the second (well, first, really, but i showed selene off first) ring racers character i've made so far! this is taga-taga, a badnik from sonic cd that appears in palmtree panic and tidal tempest. i "finished" this character last month, but i've gone back to polish it up and fix some jumpiness in its turnaround.

i plan on making a couple other badniks and releasing them as a pack. with any luck, i'll be able to commit to this and come out with some fun racers befitting ring racers' existing cast of badniks :>

Today marks the 30th anniversary of Sonic the Hedgehog CD for the Sega CD/Megadrive CD, which was released on September 23rd, 1993. The game marks the debut of Amy Rose, and Metal Sonic. They would go on to appear in multiple games in the main titles, and spinoffs. 30 years has passed, now it's time for Amy to pay back her kidnapper, along with the help of her younger, classic self. With the power of the Emeralds, they will take down the two Metal Sonics with the pound of their hammers!

Happy birthday to Sonic the Hedgehog CD. And once again, happy 30th Birthday to Amy Rose and Metal Sonic. Good luck to the two hedgehogs on defeating the two evil mechanical Sonics.

I have this Amy Rose story idea if anyone's interested.

Amy one day wakes up after having a strange vision from a familiar place, however she isn't left with confusion she knows what has to be done and where.

Her closest friends Cream, Big, Sticks and even Blaze ask her what's up when they spot her packing up, she explains that's she's gonna be gone for a while because she's on a quest. Her former home Little Planet had returned as well as the Time Stones, most likely Eggman would at some point discover this and try to take them again, so Amy is setting out to retrieve them before he can. Her friends offered to join her but she reluctantly declines.

"I appreciate it, but no. This is my battle, and I have to take it alone.."

They go with her anyway not taking no for an answer, with that they go to Little Planet and begin the search for the seven Time Stones. Lo and behold, there are fresh signs of Eggman's presence.

With each Time Stone Amy takes back, she's given a new power, sorta like Sonic Superstars. Such as the invisibility from 06, or light hover.

As it would turn out Amy was destined to be the Guardian of the Time Stones, back then however she was still young & not fully in tune with her abilities as such she was easily at the mercy of Eggman's creation Metal Sonic, this is her chance to make up for this failure.

With all the Time Stones in hand she can assume an exclusive form Miracle Amy, and with her newfound powers from the Time Stones defeats Eggman and saves Little Planet.

Sonic CD is such a curious game. Everytime I play, I just Nitros Oxide from Crash Bandicoot mocking me from a spaceship telling me to see deez nuts. This is Sonic CD.

Let's give the US Sonic CD soundtrack some love today!

Both the good and bad futures of Wacky Workbench have a cool factory background churn going on in them--produced by actual samples and vocal samples. The repeated guitar melody, then going into a heavier guitar comping is very cool, washed by the synths and the bell hits. There is a lot of synth work in the background that's subtle, but does a lot of heavy lifting. The walk up before the turnaround, the little "wahs"--they all add up to make it all very full. It's a groovy track and easy to get lost in!
