just for the record the funniest part of the sonic the hedgehog 2 director's commentary was when jeff fowler and ben schwartz forgot what tails's favorite food was so they straight-up called colleen o'shaughnessey onscreen to ask and she actually picked up. second funniest part is that she forgot about the mints and just said his favorite was probably whatever sonic was having. third funniest part is that that's completely in-character for both sonic and tails

Love the comparisons between Tails in Sonic Movie 2 and Sonic Movie 3

This little fox has such matted fur the first time we see him 🥺😔 He's clearly been travelling for weeks, maybe even months, without a proper wash 💧

Now look at Sonic Movie 3:

Our baby fox has had all the time for a nice wash and clean 🥺💗 His fur is so fluffy now, and there's less dirt.

Sonic the Hedgehog 2

Sonic 10, Tails 3 (and a ½!)

Sonic crashes the Tornado into Westside Island, saves Miles Prower or ‘Tails’ from the terrible village.

Sonic finds signs that Robotnik is nearby with his badniks seemingly looking for something. Sonic realizes there is a 7th Chaos Emerald here. Tails actually had the 7th Chaos Emerald, but it got stolen by Robotnik before he could give it to Sonic.

Sonic, with the help of Tails for fixing and even flying the Tornado, get to the Wing Fortress Zone and get the 7th Chaos Emerald to fight the Death Egg Robot as Super Sonic! After the fight, the Chaos Emeralds grow unstable, and eject from Sonic (But they stay close, judging him now that they are fully awakened).

Note: Super Sonic is like Fleetway Super Sonic because the Chaos Emeralds have not properly judged him yet.
