Okay, so I’m showing my mom the Sonic movies (I’m preparing her for Sonic 3) and she’s literally glued to the screen. We’re halfway through the first one and she’s already in love.

“Sonic needs new shoes.”

“I know, mom.”

“His little toes are gonna hurt—oh my god he is adorable.”

“He’s just a little guy.”

“Who’s the human again?”

“Tom.”

“Tom! Buy your kid new shoes.”

never gonna watch Sonic 2020 and not remember that time i watched a showing of it at my very christian college and when Tom did the whole "doesn't the power company usually take their readings from outside the house? That way they can check on you even if you're not home. Also, my buddy Spencer works for the gas company, and he's more of an Ultimate Frisbee guy. So, you want to tell me why you think I'm dumb enough to just let you walk inside my house?" and immediately, up in the balcony, a very masculine voice yelled out, "HOT"

Okay but I cannot WAIT to see how Sonic finding out about Shadow's past and trying to reason with him during an intense confrontation will go down.

Especially if, and this is a HUGE if, Sonic loses Shadow in a similar fashion as the ending of SA2

If this happens, then I won't be able to survive afterwards lmao

I still can't get over how freaking SMALL Sonic was in the 1st movie.

I know that for production purposes, they used the height of his original design after they redesigned him, which is why his height is noticeably different in the sequel versus the first since they used a updated model.

But the inner-fan in me loves to think that he just got a random growth spurt in between films, and he is in a major babey height, perfect for carrying around and giving lots of hugs to.
