Lady Aphrodite's altar🌹💫
I've decided to buy her roses at least every month when I can afford them as an offering✨ These roses are from last month, and the ones I bought this month are currently drying.

Just 7 low-key basics for any beginning witch:
1) learn how to dress and light a candle without burning your house down. A little oil goes a long way. A lot of oil goes right into a bad situation.
2) learn how to light and position incense so you don’t set off the fire alarms. Fans are an amazing friend. They circulate the smell of the incense to your whole living space, but also diffuses the smoke.
3) do not store your planchette on your ouija board (it’s like leaving your house unlocked).
4) make sure you research oils before you diffuse them if you have animals. I.e citrus straight oils or citrus oil in oil blends make dogs sick and lily oil can kill cats.
And by the gods don’t diffuse banishing oil because you’ll end up with a pepper spray situation.
5) you don’t absolutely need a holder. You just need to soften the bottom of a candle enough (yes with fire) and it will stick to a surface. A flame resistant surface (see rule one about accidentally burning down things).
6) don’t poison the earth with a ring of salt on the grass. Ashes from incense or powdered egg shells works the same. And add nutrients to the soil.
Salt inside, not outside.
And 7) if you live in an apartment or house that will not be friendly to any burning, make your favorite herbs into infusions. You can use them on their own, or mix different ones easily, for any desirable effect. Unlike burning the herbs, smoke detectors shouldn’t go off unless you spray right at them. (Watch for mold in the bottle).
I’m being a touch humerus but I also mean every bit of it.

DIFFERENCES BETWEEN SATANISM, WITCHCRAFT, AND PAGANISM
Satanism is a religious or spiritual philosophy that venerates or reveres the figure of Satan, often symbolizing individualism, personal freedom, and human nature.
Witchcraft is a form of magic or spirituality that involves the use of spells or rituals to achieve specific results.
Paganism is a term used to describe various systems of polytheistic or animistic religions that pre-date christianity and Islam.
While there may be some overlap or similarities between these belief systems, they are distinct and different in their own right.

witch tip
remember: it’s okay to take breaks from witchy practices for whatever period of time is necessary. spells, rituals etc all require some level of energy & if you don't have much, don't run yourself ragged

Witchcraft and Self-Care: Nurturing Your Mind, Body, and Spirit
Witchcraft is not just a craft; it's a path that intertwines with our daily lives. Amid the spells and rituals, it's vital to remember that self-care is a cornerstone of our practice. By nurturing our minds, bodies, and spirits, we empower ourselves to be more effective witches and resilient individuals.
In this blog post, we'll delve into "Witchcraft and Self-Care: Nurturing Your Mind, Body, and Spirit," exploring the importance of self-care and suggesting rituals and practices to help you flourish on your magical journey.
🌟✨
1. Grounding and Centering 🌳🌌
Start your self-care journey with grounding and centering. Take a moment each day to connect with the Earth. Stand barefoot on the ground, feeling the energy of the Earth rise through you. Meditate, visualize roots extending from your body into the soil, anchoring you to the Earth's nurturing energy.
2. Daily Affirmations 🧘‍♀️🌟
Affirmations are powerful tools for nurturing a positive mindset. Each morning, recite affirmations that align with your intentions. These affirmations reinforce your sense of self-worth, strength, and resilience. For example, "I am powerful," "I am loved," or "I am in control of my destiny."
3. Bath Rituals 🛁🌸
A soothing bath can work wonders for your well-being. Infuse your bathwater with Epsom salt, lavender, or rose petals. As you soak, visualize any stress or negativity melting away, leaving you refreshed and renewed. This simple practice can be profoundly healing.
4. Moon Meditation 🌕🧘‍♂️
Harness the energy of the moon to nurture your spirit. During the Full Moon, find a quiet space outdoors, and meditate beneath its radiant glow. Visualize the moon's energy filling you with light, cleansing away any emotional burdens, and empowering you for the month ahead.
5. Herbal Tea Ritual ☕🌿
Create a mindful tea ritual using your favorite herbs. As you brew and sip your tea, focus on the sensations and flavors. Allow the warmth of the tea to envelop you, bringing comfort and serenity. This practice can also enhance your connection with herbal magic.
6. Journaling 📓🖋️
Keep a magical journal to record your thoughts, experiences, and spellwork. Journaling is not only cathartic but also a powerful way to track your progress, uncover patterns, and celebrate your successes. Use it as a tool for self-reflection and growth.
7. Self-Compassion 💖🌈
Practice self-compassion in your daily life. Be gentle with yourself, just as you would with a close friend. Understand that setbacks are part of growth, and mistakes are opportunities to learn. By nurturing self-compassion, you'll foster resilience and inner strength.
🌟✨
As witches, our practice is a reflection of our inner and outer worlds. By prioritizing self-care, we infuse our craft with authenticity and power. Remember that you are the most important tool in your magical toolkit, and by nurturing your mind, body, and spirit, you become a beacon of light in the world.
So, let's embrace self-care as an essential aspect of witchcraft. By nurturing ourselves, we empower our magic and cultivate a deeper connection with the universe.

My 3 Favorite Books ~ as a green witch 🧙🏼‍♀️
These three books have offered huge foundations to my practice and are ones I continue to reread time and time again to inspire and revive my practice and to welcome new wisdom by reading the words from a new perspective. They are great for green witches, druids, or anyone interested in nature based magic. 🌲

I just got my first oracle deck! I've had lots of tarot decks but I recently found an affordable, nice oracle deck that I felt attracted to. I really like it and it'll probably become one of my common practices.

💫witch tip💫
because i once again forgot to add this to my list post, but have something that breaks up the stagnant energy in your rooms. like an analog clock cuz it's hands are always moving. or a lava lamp, or wind chimes.
something to keep energy moving in the room instead of letting it settle and build up
or you can be the movement. nowadays a lot of people are prone to doomscrolling. i personally believe that's a form of stagnant energy or gathering stagnant energy. i hold your hand when i say this (because im not immune to it either) but get up and interact with your space, acknowledge your space, appreciate your space, show some love to the items that surround you because they're there and pixels aren't tangible.

╚═════ஓ๑♡๑ஓ═════╝
Hello! just wanted to share this offerings jar i made for Aphrodite (this is actually an old post from 2019 I’m copying from somewhere else I wanted to back it up here)
⊱ ──────ஓ๑♡๑ஓ ────── ⊰
♡ . ˚. what i used . ˚. ♡
✧salt
✧honey
✧sugar
✧rosemary
✧sage
✧thyme
✧cinnamon
✧seashells
✧rose quartz
✧rose petals
✧rosemary essential oil

⊱ ──────ஓ๑♡๑ஓ ────── ⊰
himalayan pink salt would probably be the best kind of salt to use but i don’t have any so i used epsom salt which to be honest i’m not sure about but i think should be okay? since epsom salt can represent love and whatnot.
honey, seashells, and rose petals are all good offerings for aphrodite and i have a lot of all three in my house.
the herbs i used were all to represent different things and the rose quartz is pretty self explanatory.
i started with the salt, then honey, and then herbs. i put just a few rose petals on top and then some shells. on top of the shells i sprinkled some rose quartz chips and just a tiny bit of rosemary essential oil because i love that stuff.
i added the rest of my rose petals on top, one more drop of essential oil(i decided i wanted more), put the lid on and then sealed it with wax. while the wax was still hot i added some more (dried) rose petals that i crumpled on top, and that’s it!

The Magic of Everyday: How I Find Witchcraft in the Ordinary.
🌿🌕✨
Do you ever stop to marvel at the enchantment that surrounds us, hidden in plain sight? As I delve deeper into my journey of practicing witchcraft, I've come to realize that magic isn't just about casting grand spells or performing elaborate rituals—it's woven into the very fabric of our everyday lives.
🌟✨
Join me as I embark on this enchanting exploration of "The Magic of Everyday," where I'll reveal how I find witchcraft in the ordinary and embrace the extraordinary in the mundane.
🌟✨
Morning Brew, Morning Spells ☕🔮 Every morning, as the sun rises and the world awakens, I stand by the window, cradling my warm mug of tea or coffee, or in the summer months with iced drinks (I love an iced coffee!). With every sip, I imbue my drink with intentions of clarity and peace.
The Language of Plants and Crystals 🌿💎 During my daily walks, I've discovered a secret language spoken by the plants and crystals. The rustling leaves whisper ancient wisdom, while the sparkling crystals hum with energy. Nature, the most potent spell caster, teaches me to be still, listen, and learn.
Embracing the Elements 🌊🔥💨🌍 The elements surround us at all times, and recognising their presence is a powerful key to unlock everyday magic. I breathe in the fresh air, feel the earth beneath my feet, and let the rain cleanse my spirit. When I light a candle, I invoke the transformative power of fire. By connecting with the elements, I connect with the core of existence.
Enchanted Home Space 🏠✨ My home is my sacred space, a sanctuary for my craft. I've adorned it with little altars and candles, which I light to honour the spirits that reside within these walls. Cleansing my space with smoke incense purifies and refreshes the energy, filling the air with positive vibrations.
Moonlit Dream weaving 🌙🌌 Under the moon's tender gaze, I venture into the realm of dreams. I keep a dream journal by my bedside, capturing the mysteries that unfold during the night. In the gentle light of the moon, I feel closer to the universal energy that weaves us all together.
🌟✨
In the grand tapestry of life, there's magic in the ordinary—waiting for us to embrace it with wonder and gratitude. By cherishing these moments, we tap into the essence of witchcraft, where intention and reverence converge.
So, as you go about your day, remember to pause, breathe, and observe the magic that surrounds you. Whether it's in the flight of a butterfly, the sparkle of dew on a leaf, or the warmth of a friend's smile, the enchantment of everyday life awaits your discovery.
🌟✨
