May I offer another rare ship?

Young Greyback x Naru I've only seen 1 fic of this ship but it would explain how grayback got the gun.

Like epic navy battle between now pirate captain Naru and the English is happening. Why is Naru a pirate? Cause after everything that happened and possibly loosing most of her tribe she decided to stop the colonists where they're coming in. So after years of pirating Naru meets Greyback and thinking he's going to kill her and her crew they do battle.

Naru and him come at a stale mate when the colonists pull up. Insert epic navy battle where Greyback helps Naru (mainly cause he hasn't decided whether he wants her skull or her booty). This allows them to team up and sail the ocean for a while fighting together and he kinda joins her crew.

But then during a battle Naru is gravely wounded and her crew is killed in a very heartbreaking moment. But of course Greyback saves her and she ends up in his space ship. Naru takes no time to decide revenge is the best option and asks Greyback to help. They of course defeat the bad guys but now Naru doesn't know what to do next.

So she gives Greyback the gun saying he's a worthy warrior. But Greyback has decided he doesn't want a trophy but a mate and basically asks if she wants to travel the universe with him. Naru having nothing else to do goes with him *insert romantic scene*.

Then a couple centuries later city predator is killed by detective Mike Harrigan. Greyback gives the detective the gun seeing him as a worthy warrior. Then he goes to a now elderly naru (cause of course she's still alive yautja blood is the best) and they cuddle. The end.

I'm literally sending this cause I think it's an interesting ship and has a lot of potential and hopefully more people will take interest.

Also pirate Naru sounds bad ass.

As a fic rec Steady as we Burn by SolainRhyo is the only Naru x Greyback fic I've seen so far

That would be interesting! I’ve read their fics and they’re pretty good, despite not being finished. It would be a great way for her to go out if they do return to her time.

Written in beautiful prose. This is for if you like the mentor-student dynamic. It's not finished but the author definitely deserves more attention.

Summary:

When Solas again became Fen'Harel, the Inquisitor vanished.

Unseen but not forgotten she watched as the Veil was destroyed, as the Evanuris were freed, as the world again went to war. She bore witness to the devastation knowing she could have stopped it, if only. As years passed she became a wanderer, a chronicler, using words to capture all the terrible things her decision had wrought on the world, using words as penance for all she hadn't done.

And using words, unwittingly, to lure the Dread Wolf to her door.
