Sofia Balthazar was four years old when she lost her parents to Shuriki's wrath during a business trip that could not have gone more wrong.

Her life is saved by a selfless woman with a ten year old son. Frightened, lost, and traumatized, Sofia comes to rely on the two for safety and care.

Over the years she is considered a part of the family, with her big brother teaching her about magic, and her mami teaching her about music and dance.

She loves her adoptive family, and she is given a precious gift that once belonged to Princess Elena herself that her abuelo had kept hidden with the family.

As she learns more and more about Avalor's history and what Shuriki has done to it's people, she vows she will help put an end to the sorceress's malevolent rule. And with her big brother and mysterious amulet's powers to guide her, she will succeed, and bring freedom and joy to Avalor's shores once again.

When inside the amulet, Elena can control/influence its powers. Would this mean that Vor could have been able to do that too, if Sofia hadn't been pulled in as well and destroyed Vor?

I wonder if Sofia thought about this possibility when making her plan. I totally understand if she didn't think that far ahead, considering she needed to act quickly in the face of an immediate and growing threat.

This makes me think of an AU; one where Sofia didn't get pulled into the amulet. She rejoices as Vor is finally in the amulet, turns it green, the ending is the same with her getting Protector status, and no one yet suspects that anything will go wrong...until it does. Horribly.

(Yes, I admit I don't look very fondly upon the Wishing Well, and think it's deliberately engineered so that any of the wishes upon it have the greatest possible likelihood of inflicting lasting harm in the long run, with it only making an exception for any 'bait wishes' it decides to grant to tempt the wisher into using the follow-up actually bad ones.

1# Amber and Sofia's actess loved to try each others accessories. Sometimes thet dragged James' actor into it too

2#Most of the older actors in both Shows are parents themselves or have some good experience working with younger cast, so they often looked after the kids and helped them

3# When the Enchantia royal kids' actors meet Cedric's actor, they askee if he had sleep or if he was ok. He laugh and reassured them he was fine

4# Esteban and Victor's Actors were the pranksters of the cast. They often played pranks on elena and shuriki"s actress through season 2 and the specials. They did got payback when they hid their costumes.

5# they had to use rubber wands for the magic users (specially Cedric) because they kept accidentally breaking them.

6# whenever the villain actors had to be super mean to the kids or teens on a scene, they would Imediately hug them and appologize and make sure they were ok. shuriki's actress hugged and comforted Elena's actress after the dead parent taunt scene. Aimee (Elena's actress) in intreviews mentions it took several tries, but nonetheless she made sure to reassure Jane she was ok, and hug her too knowing it was a taxing scene. As it for this day, shuriki's actress (Jane) has said she hated doing that scene, and specially when Aimee teared up.

7# Sofia mispronouncing Cedric was not planned. The actress messed a few times and they just found it adorable

8# Sometimes Cedric and Greylock's actors get bored and play that they have magic duels

9# Princess Ivy's actress let Amber's actress try her wig. She often acted like a big sister outside cameras and had a hard time at the "curse of princess Ivy" episode since the girls found her costume to look awesome

10# its very awkward to do a scene with the animal figures as they will animate them later. So, Cedric's actor often took Wormwood figurine and just playfully crawed at Sofia's actress or any of the kids. They giggled

11# shuriki's actress is a mom herself (Lucinda's actress is her daughter. I am aeare her cannon mom is another one but this au Jane, shuriki's actress takes multiple roles. So please bear with me XD) so she's actually really good with kids in irl. She calls them Luv and kiddos

12# Francisco and Luisa's actors are married in real life. He often flirts with his wife :D

13# The kids have a fun game with Bailywick's actor where they try to get him to break character.

14# Cedric's actor mentioned he did put a lot of his past struggles into Cedric's character, and that he loved to played him.

16. James' actor is the most energetic of the trio. He adored whenever he got to have action scenes or move around

17. The friendships that sofia made did remained in irl. The girls are such good friends, and often hated doing scenes where they fought.

18. Everyone wasn't fully a fan of the jaquin flying scenes. They took the longest to shoot, but there were times when they were fun

19. Shuriki and Elena's actresses love their battles. although Jane wasn't fully a fan of being on the air, she often said that Aimee made it fun as it was like playing with her kids

20. The best part of the kids was always dressing up in their numerous gowns. Amber and Sofia"s actresses often asked if they could shoot longer on them.

21. Mateo's actor clumsiness and awkwardness fit in as the guy is kinda awkward and shy too. However, he built amazing friendships and Stuff.

22. Isabel"s actress (Jena) is actually on the Spectrum, she adored playing Isa as she could relate a lot

23. During the Outside scenes in the sun, the teens got bored and decided to play soccer and Ola Ball

24. Sometimes when they were bored after shooting, both Elena and shuriki"s team (actors and actresses) decided to play the hockey pockey or never have i ever. Why? Well mostly they recorded outiside and it was hot, so off costumes they wanted to kill time

25. Ash's actress (Grey) and Victor’s actor (Lou) refused to shoot their argument scenes with any of the kids present. They didn't want to let them experience it although it was acting.

26. Fiero"s actor is a chill and cool guy. He had the time of his life when he was shooting his battle scenes. He was kinda like a cool uncle

27. No one. NO ONE told Jane or Aimee about the Shuriki"s mask in "song of the sirenas) they thought they were Carnival masks. This was a fun and elaborated prank from the team to ease up the stress and have a fun farewell as Jane had to leave due to busy schedules. She yelled and Imediately broke character. Aimee legit was weirded out. Both were fabergasted to learn the masks were staying up. Aimee said "It was interesting to shoot it" and Jane said "I had to pull a straight face ignoring my co worker was wearing that thing on. It was cursed)

28. Esteban"s actor nearly dropped out as Esreban did enfuriate him in the early episodes. After he was told more the secret and his character he decided to stay and add his spin

Tftoml Character Design pt 1

Here are the much awaited designs of the Philip sisters, this is what they’ll wear in acts 2-3. Note, I don’t think I’m good at the Disney art style, so I tried using my own. Now here are a few facts about the sisters.

Morgan Elaine Philip

- I did not like how she was animated in the sequel since the animation was done with cheap animation like Space Jam a New Legacy AND James Baxter didn’t animate for Disenchanted. That’s why I tried to make her look more like the first actress, because I like Rachel Covey’s curly hair and dimples.

-Morgan is wearing a leather jacket, navy blue, cargo pants and brown boots. The yellow shirt underneath paired with her pants, symbolizes the Aroace flag and her sexuality in my fic. She gets the purple cloak in Act 2 and it symbolizes the Asexual flag.

-This takes place in a universe where Morgan doesn’t make the memory tree, since to me it felt like a poorly built up macguffin. She does have a special sketchbook she uses to draw and write in.

Sofie Diana Philip

-She does share most of Robert’s traits and those ended up being stronger in Giselle’s when I finish the flashbacks and Act 1. She used to have blue eyes but they became brown after infancy and it’s from Robert’s lineage. Imagine her being portrayed by Lexi Rabe, if this came out in 2017.

-Her dress is a nod to the gown Flora and Meriweather ruined in Sleeping Beauty and to show how asymmetry is important in character design. Her shoes match Morgan’s cloak and they’re a nod to when I owned a similar pair of light up shoes as a kid.

-Sofie’s personality is a fusion of Giselle and Robert’s traits and you’ll see in chapter 2 why she’s called Sofie in tftoml.

Lastly, The relationship dynamic and 10 year difference between the sisters for my fic, Morgan (16) & Sofie (6) was unintentionally inspired by Elena and Isabel Flores from Elena of Avalor. A really good Disney show that did the sister dynamic AND Coronation so much better than Frozen. Also both sisters are closer with Robert than with Giselle and it will be shown in Act 1.

I drew these in honor of Disenchanted, Frozen 2, and Wish airing on the same day. I’m really hard at work with writing Chs 2-3 on paper but I hope you like my art!

The Sofia the first and technoblade crossover dream is one of the best things I've heard, in regards to technoblade crossovers at least.

Like imagine Sofia is older and Enchantcia has been plunged into war. She has experience on how to kill with kindness, but now she may need to kill with blades.

The amulet of avalor summons who it thinks would help the most; Ruler of the Antarctic Empire, Technoblade.

She can see that he wears a blue themed kings attire, but has never heard of this Ruler in her entire time as a princess. She was expecting Mulan to be summoned if anyone, so this man with light pink hair and a horrible pigs skull worn as a mask is quite unexpected.

He simply states in his deep voice, "Your amulet brought me here for a reason, why have I been summoned here." As he looks around and sees a war torn country, with an army marching on the horizon.

Sofia starts, "War has come for the first time in centuries," She pauses by the window then continues, "I need help to solve this, which is why the amulet brought you to me. I have to look out for my kingdom, even if my sister is the Queen."

Technoblade cracks a smile at her plight and speaks with a hint of joy, "I can help with that."

Sofia the First Alternate Universe

Hi everyone! A few days ago I was thinking about an AU where the dynamics of Sofia and Cedric's friendship changes a bit. I have finally decided to share it, what better time than this week that celebrates their friendship.

Royal Pariahs

"Bad" Sofia and "Good" Cedric

In this alternate universe, when Sofia arrives at the palace, she starts having behavioral issues due to her inability to fit into royal life and the constant rejection from Amber and other royals. In contrast, Cedric, although still the same grumpy character with a past marked by the incident and lifelong bullying, has found a way to cope in this universe. As a result, he has given up on the idea of taking over the kingdom.

Since Cedric doesn’t attempt to steal the amulet, the events of "Once Upon a Princess" don't unfold as they should. Because no one at the party freezes, Sofia never connects with Amber, who continues to torment her, resentful that the castle staff seems to prefer Sofia.

This rejection fuels Sofia's resentment towards her new family; she refuses to call Amber "sister" and rejects referring to Roland as "dad." The only member of the royal family with whom she has a decent relationship is James, who has tried to support her in adapting to Royal Prep.

Despite everything, Sofia remains a sweet and kind person to everyone who isn’t royalty—a group she has come to despise due to the endless rules and expectations they imposed on her.

The Amulet of Avalor hasn’t been able to help her in this universe because, as a result of her bad behavior, it frequently punished her and eventually, she decided to take it off. After all, Sofia sees no problem in breaking the promise she made to King Roland, who has done little to stop Amber's teasing.

After all the teasing she has received since arriving, Sofia refuses to adhere to the protocols and rules as a form of rebellion to show her discontent. She refuses to wear her tiara or any other kind of jewelry, deliberately messes up her hair, and doesn’t care about maintaining her dress. She believes this is a way to annoy King Roland and Amber, breaking with the perfection that she believes is expected of her.

The friendship of Sofia and Cedric

Sofia is still interested in magic, which leads her to meet Cedric and become his apprentice, as in the original storyline. However, this Sofia soon realizes how King Roland and others treat Cedric. Since she is also rejected by the Royals, she identifies with him.

Cedric, on the other hand, sees part of his own story reflected in the young princess, leading him to care for her and try to advise her so she doesn’t end up like him.

Their friendship works somewhat in reverse.

1. Sofia tries to steer Cedric toward villainy:

After a year in the palace with no improvement in her situation, Sofia is determined to ruin the King and Amber. After learning a bit about Cedric’s past through Baileywick, she comes up with the idea that they could both seek revenge.

Sofia wants revenge for how Amber and other Royals have treated her because of her commoner origins and believes Cedric should do the same for the years of mockery and humiliation he has endured.

However, Cedric isn’t interested, having left villainy behind after a failed attempt in his youth. Though Sofia constantly tempts him with childish ideas to annoy the King, Cedric realizes this wouldn’t get them anywhere, especially Sofia.

2. Cedric tries to help Sofia with her family situation:

Cedric enjoys helping Sofia annoy Amber and other princesses at Royal Prep with spells and poorly enchanted objects, thinking it helps her cope with her tough life. However, one night he overhears a conversation between Queen Miranda and Sofia he realizes that these "revenge" schemes are only hurting Sofia more than anyone else.

Cedric reflects on where this path is leading her, imagining a future where Sofia is rejected and excluded like him. Determined to prevent that outcome, Cedric starts helping Sofia adapt to palace life as best he can.

With Baileywick’s help, Cedric teaches Sofia some of the etiquette she had previously refused to learn, while Sofia helps him overcome his fear of performing spells in front of others. This process is healing for both of them; they support each other in improving their relationships with others in the palace.

Together, they face setbacks and celebrate small victories, working side by side to change their lives. Essentially, they both try to improve their lives together.

And that's basically it. I just wanted an excuse for Sofia to act a little more like a mischievous child and Cedric as a concerned adult. Although Cedric joins in on her antics sometimes.

Cedlock, Good Omens AU.

For Cedlock fans, Cedric and Greylock shippers.

Greylock, as the angel Aziraphale, and Cedric as the demon Crowley.

They thought the "child of the apocalypse" was one of the twins, Amber and James.

And they became a kind of "magical godparents" for the children, hoping that they would follow their advice and choose their respective sides. Good and evil.

However, they end up discovering that was neither of them. And that none of the children were the true "the chosen one", to bring about the predicted chaos.

And in fact, is the little princess Sofia. A little peasant girl, who by chance, was adopted as the stepdaughter of King Roland II of Enchancia.

And after she received the Amulet of Avalor, Sofia's powers started to get stronger, and she thinks they are just the work of the amulet.

The "horsemen of the apocalypse" feel her arrival,trying to go after her because of her amulet.

So, For Greylock and Cedric, they better act quickly to save the entire Ever Realm from the apocalypse.

PS: I thought of this idea because of Greylock's style of clothing, which reminds me of Aziraphale. The tartan print and the tie. In addition to his love of making jokes to entertain people,and hasty attitudes.

Cedric as Crowley, because of his grumpy attitude, who deep down is a big soft heart. For being a plant father and have a different walk. In addition to his attempts to do things in a "cool and bad" way, failing miserably at it.

wanted to make a post expanding on my sofia the first au: fia the worst, just for fun's sake ^_^ in the au, cedric is intrigued by this copy of sofia and wants to keep her around, so he lies and says she can only be destroyed with a potion. this way, he can escort her back to his tower, where he can propose the idea of the copy helping him take over the kingdom. she accepts without hesitation, thrilled to have a chance to do something so disruptive. cedric then swiftly decides to call her fia, so that things wouldn't be confusing. fia's amulet allows whoever is wearing it the ability to talk to animals, since when sofia duplicated herself, that power was active, so to speak, so it duplicated (listen i'm working with the plot hole as best i can). cedric begins using the copy of the amulet to speak properly with wormwood. the three of them concoct a plan to steal sofia's amulet; fia will pretend to be sofia after sofia herself has already gone to bed. that way, she can get into her room without being questioned. once inside, she would be careful not to wake sofia or her animal friends as she takes the amulet of avalor. after securing it, she would open the window, where wormwood would be waiting. he can then take the amulet back to cedric. fia will then hide somewhere in sofia's room until morning time, wait for her and her animal friends to leave, then sneak back to cedric's tower. fia wants to enact the plan as soon as possible, but cedric is wary. there are many things that could go wrong, and he wants them to wait a little while for the perfect opportunity, whatever that looks like to him. in the weeks following, fia gets bored a lot so cedric takes her into town to entertain her. fia was the one to suggest that he change her hair to look like his, so that she could be mistaken for his niece. the most fun fia can have, though, is messing with cedric. because in the episode where she makes her appearance she figured out so fast that he wanted the amulet, i choose to headcanon that fia is more perceptive of cedric than sofia, either for magical reasons or not. fia quickly catches on to cedric's soft spot for sofia, and abuses the fact that she is a version of sofia constantly. i'm pretty certain that i want to make fia betray cedric somehow after they manage to take over the kingdom, and he'll somewhat redeem himself by helping sofia to defeat her. i hope i actually make more for this au i actually like it a lot.

I JUST THOUGHT OF A SOFIA THE FIRST AU!!!

hear me out: fairly oddparents x sofia the first

Cedric is a fairy godparent and Sofia is the god kid. I imagine that most canon events stay canon (with a few magical altercations ofc). like, in the prequel movie is when they meet and it’s right when sofia is most miserable about the expectations of being a princess and stuff.

by extension i guess sorcerers are all fairy godparents?

what happens to canon magic users? I guess they dont exist? But magical creatures exist, if that helps

the dynamic between Sofia and Cedric would be the same/similar, both of them learning as they go from magical mishaps. Cedric is partial parental figure and partial uncle figure. I would equate the friendship progression to the ghost and molly mcgee and scratch’s and molly’s dynamic. The amulet of Avalor would probably still exist (likely with a different name and slightly different lore behind it) and i think Cedric would still try to steal it, in order to take over fairy world. Itd be like cosmo’s backstory but if cosmo was more mean about it.

As for sofia, i think she’d have her great mom and her dad would be the same as canon, albeit a bit more absent bc of royal duties, so Cedric probably ends up filling that gap. Not that Roland is abusive, basically the show dynamics of Roland loving her daughter but with even less Roland appearances.

The siblings (james and amber) would probably find a few things suspicious about why there’s a bunch of weird events going on but otherwise they dont suspect that sofia has a fairy.

like i said before, a lot of episodes would remain relatively the same plot (eg. cedric’s character development arc, secret library, floating palace, etc. except cedric is there)

the magical creatures (ogres, dragons, etc) would already know abt fairies and stuff so cedric would constantly interact with them.

So I wrote these villain song cover lyrics and animatic scripts for Disney Junior princesses Sofia the First and Elena of Avalor in AUs where they turned evil, inspired by Lydia the Bard’s series of Disney Princess villain songs. And I’ve been getting back into The Lion Guard lately. And since a main theme of that show is about Kion not wanting to turn out like Scar despite their parallels… I couldn’t resist writing this. Half the plot of Season Three is him trying not to have a corruption arc! It was right there!

All this to say, I hope any Lion Guard fans on here enjoy this. I haven’t had Kion follow too closely in Scar’s footsteps; his villainous goal is arguably the exact opposite. It’s his methods that are problem. Canon is pretty fine by me, minor quibbles aside (Kion deserved to grow a mane, for one), but it’s fun to explore how much worse things could have gone.
