Drumpfh Hotel? Monte Cristo, Washington, 2004.
It is said that the Drumpfh family fortune was in part based on a hotel the indicted (and one hopes soon to be felon) Trump's grandfather ran in the mining boom-town of Monte Cristo. The town, like much of what the family has touched, is now a tattered shell with a few buildings like the one shown remaining. One suspects grandpa Drumpfh, a draft dodger and persona non grata in his native country, made money on activities other than simply renting rooms. He quite probably skipped town owing lots of people money and favors.

New idea, who dis?
Ok, so this is the marketing manager BLSTR Entertainment. Part of the problem we been running into is not having a great idea where to post things. Hosting is expensive and a lot of the site editing tools kinda suck and these websites always try to overcharge you with features you won't use.
That's when it hit me: we should use a tumblr blog. It would be really easy for us to update the site, add all the photos and videos from our events to the website. If you have a tumblr you can follow us here. Ask us questions, etc.
So that's what this is. For the forseeable future, this is the homebase for BLSTR Entertainment. I will get the URL to work later once the blog is like filled with content. Anyway's here is to hoping that this experiment works.

Since the Montlake Cap over SR-520 didn't its trails open by end of October as per the previous deadline, I've gone ahead and dropped a new Greater Northshore Bike Connector Map and a new MEGAMAP for southwest Snohomish County down through Renton.
This is a minor release with a couple of corrections and removal of a construction warning flag in Bothell, thanks to the repaving project on Sammamish River Trail being complete.
Previous permalinks continue to be valid.

Historic Downtown Snohomish, Snohomish, WA 98290
Stopped in Snohomish on the way back from the Skagit Valley Tulip Festival. Snohomish is about 30 miles north of Seattle in Snohomish County. The population is a little over 10,000.
The town is small but it was once the county seat and an important lumber town. The downtown area is on the Snohomish River and many of the buildings look old (historic). For such a small town, I was impressed with the number and variety of shops and restaurants. It’s known for antique stores, but I also spotted art galleries, a tea shop, wine bar, pub, spas, tattoo parlor, clothing stores, and home furnishing stores. There were several coffee shops, bakeries, ice cream shops, and the wonderful Top It Yogurt Shoppe. For food, I saw pizza places, poke, Mexican food, Thai food, BBQ, and seafood restaurants. I’ve heard of the HGTV show, Unsellable Houses. I haven’t watched it, but it’s filmed in Snohomish and the realtor has a store in town.
I didn’t have time to shop in the stores but they looked interesting – not too exclusive but more eclectic.
I read later that the Oxford Tavern is considered to be haunted by multiple ghosts.
I could see spending a day shopping and strolling in Snohomish. The downtown area has a few signs that point out some of the history of the area. There are other things to do nearby, like visit farms, take a hot balloon ride, hike the trails, etc.
4 out of 5 stars

Actually our next event - Party on Hewitt.
So, not a ton of followers here yet. Which helps because I am still working on how to get the content flowing. But the next party we are throwing is going to be called.... drum roll please....
PARTY ON HEWITT
Named after BLSTR Ent. very own Officially Retro's song Party on Hewitt.
We were going through so many bad names for events... groov theory, the breakdance ball, rhythm break. When we realized the perfect party name was already right there.
Anyways, we are in the process of securing the DJ line up for the night. We are hoping for 3.
What kind of music are they going to play?
It's an open format dance party, so you can expect good dose of hip hop, pop, r&b, and maybe some house. Hell, a good dj can make rock, country, and like folk music work if they know what they are doing. We are going to trust the DJs in doing what they do and let them take care of us.
Where can I get tickets?
We got an eventbrite link below but we are also taking cash at the door. And if we plan everything right, we are going to get a card reader so it's not cash only.
Anyways, that is what is going on! If youre in Snohomish County come out and party!
Any questions? Email us. [email protected]
