DnD list from Kara and friends made me do this

They're all so adorable looking. Kara was a student at Lady Death's wizard academy (Kristen) and she wears crow stuff because her mentor was Philza but her magic is very snake focused that's why her outfit resembles both.

I wanted to specify the size difference between them but it's still hard for me to adjust the anatomy accordingly. Sparklez is just naturally small but can turn into a full dragon tho it takes a lot of energy. Pete is based on Borzoi and Wind hounds, he was mean to hunt wolves with his bare teeth and hands but he's not strong enough to to that so he started using magic.

Kara's outfit can help her appear as a winged serpent while in full serious mode

My first introduction to your art was the Rifkin burger costume art and the first very Phasmo vod thumbnail (I’ve been the missing the Scott, Gloom, Kara, & Jordan ghost hunter group so much. A pipe dream with Kassie not creating YT content but a guy can still visit old vods) that went up on Jordan’s channel and it’s been super rad to see how far you’ve come as an artist and how much your art has evolved

Heyo its the usual anon again. Hopefully this actually sends this will be the 4th time I've tried.

In the last ask i didnt really have anything sonja related but that wasn't because i just left her out. Its more that i fizzled our of the story before i managed to get to her involvement in the story so while i think it would be amazing if the two ideas worked hand and hand the sonjaxcapsize beach was probably the best patch job that could be done for her to be present in the setting at all without being just a background npc.

As for tom joining in trying to manipulate jordan. It's based on things that actually happened in season 2 with the whole dianitess trying to tempt jordan to their side [tom was just awful at it first he accidentally revealed that steve was actually with dianite then he left dianite's book laying around (the one that said sparklez is easily tempted with gifts so they could use that to buy his affections and change him to their side) for sparklez to find]

Now onto the main idea i was going to make this ask about

Mianite s1 characters and their wings

Tom: has goose wings. Strong and mainly used for slapping people around. Though their white they dont quite look angelic and yes he does get into quite a bit of mischief with them. He was originally disappointed that his wings were... well not all cool and bat like but after dianite explained that the bigger stronger goose wings were great for slapping he never looked back.

Tucker: large angelic wings. They seem to shimmer slightly gold at the edges and when he flies there is sometimes a soft chime. When folded back they drag on the ground behind him. Tom sometimes tries to get him worked up when he comes around because when he paces back and forth he unintentionally dusts the floor. It seems like he's always preening his feathers and still drops tons when ever flying but he never seems to look any less fluffy [ps the are verry soft tom assures us]

Sonja: same as tuckers on the outside but the underside of the wings you can see the skin of the wings and they are clearly sickly looking with black viens traveling through them and they've lost they're golden luster. When she flies her the soft chimes instead take on a slightly creepy feel like something is wrong. She often wraps the wings around heraelf like a cloak. It seems

Champwan: had his wings taken away for unspeakable crimes.

Dec: also had his wings taken away for encouraging said unspeakable crimes

Waglington: seeing the mortals having fun with wings makes some of his own. They arent really wings they are 12 tentacles [6 on each side] that he stretches into the shape of wings and uses to mine the act of flying. It is horrifying and cool

Nadeshot: has bat wings granted by dianite. They sre sleek and small in comparison to most others wings on the server and prone to breaking when used to smack or block others. For a short while he they became pure black and able to cut through stone when he joined the shadows

Jordan: has two sets of wings one on his ankles and one on his back. When folded on his back his wings look small but when fully extended his wings are almost 5 times his actual height. His lower set of wings are about his full height. They are both dragonic but the bottom set of wings has an eerie blue to it. When he begins to flap his wings it usually kicks up a strong wind and was the quickest of the heroes to take to flying

It did indeed send (though my phone is kinda broken and not giving me notifs anymore so sorry if they took a while).

Honestly I think it's fine to just not have all the gang involved in a story if you can't come up with anything for them. Like if leaving Sonja in the background works better for the story, then that should be done to keep focus on who the story is actually about. Though I have loved stories where a secondary story happens in the background, like I just find them interesting.

So I didn't realise that Tom actually attempted to manipulate Jordan in Season 2, I guess cause he kind of sucked at it. I still think in the story I would see it as a pretty big dick move, but that doesn't mean it's out of character. I just think in the situation that Andor is dead and Jordan has been pretty much forced to take the throne, manipulating him from the shadows is a bit of a dick move, but like it's interesting so that doesn't really matter much.

For the main idea: I love giving characters wings, I think it's really fun!!

Goose wings definitely suit Tom, especially him at first being a little disappointed that they aren't steorotypical devil wings. I can definitely see him using them to control the room by pushing people into position as well as making himself generally bigger.

Tucker having glowing angel wings is just chefs kiss. Him having just these large fluffy wings that would be expected of Mianite's champion. I like the idea of him needing to figure out a fighting style around his wings since they aren't as strong Tom's, though they can tank a hit or two.

Oh I love the idea of Sonja's wings being corrupted. I think part of what you were writing here was maybe cut off, but I like the idea of when she flies something literally feels wrong.

Champ and Dec no longer having their wings due to crimes is both very funny and reminds me of fallen aasimar.

Oh my god Wag is alsolutely horrifying but also just so so fun. I can just imagine the looks of the others when they first see them and Wag just not understanding the problem.

Yes to Nade having bat wings! I especially love them being very weak but then getting stronger when he joins the Shadows. I can imagine a fight where he surprises someone by hitting them with his wings and they just have so much more punch than he was expecting.

Jordan's wings are so interesting, especially him having two pairs. I wonder if the others know about two pairs, or if he hides the pair on his ankles just by wearing shoes. I love the idea of him being very powerful with flight, since I think that Jordan would be very comfortable in the air.

Also you didn't put her, but I like the idea of Capsize having dragonfly wings. She keeps them hidden a lot of the time because they aren't strong enough to take knocks during combat. She can flight pretty well, though everyone's a little shocked when she reveals her wings for the first time.

I'm a "captain sparklez is tubbo's dad" believer for the sole reason of seeing the absolute glee of tubbo finding out that the captain is an ender dragon hybrid and in turn is also one

CaptainSparklez is Z (the headcanon/mini theory)

Note: this is just a fun little speculation, which is in no way intended to be taken fully seriously. i’m just having some fun :D

On Ranboo’s 18/7/2021 stream, he built a block-for-block cobblestone replica of an End City building. He claimed that it was “just an idea” he came up with.

Afterwards, the twitter account for Z (the enderwalk researcher) tweeted this:

This tells us 2 things:

Z is currently watching Ranboo and knows how to talk with the particles

Z knows what an End City is

This means that Z is the first person we know who has a knowledge of the End. Now, how does this relate to Sparklez?

There’s only two things we know about Sparklez in the Dream SMP

That Wilbur has plans for him

That he has horns, much like Tubbo and Puffy

There’s really only been one other place where the Captain has been seen with sort-of animalistic features like we see in Tubbo and Puffy. That is Mianite Season 2.

In Mianite, Sparklez has dragon wings and a tail. You could say he is a dragon hybrid. which if the dad sparklez thing is canon that would make tubbo part dragon instead of goat but that’s besides the point

Not only that, but Sparklez worshiped the goddess of balance and the End, Ianite. So he would clearly have an immense knowledge of the End, seeing as that’s what he’s basically the Champion of.

CaptainSparklez would make the most sense to know about the End. Mianite was a huge pioneer for live lore-based servers, and it would just be sweet to have Mianite’s existence be canon in the smp.

How exactly he is watching Ranboo or knows what an Enderwalker is isn’t exactly clear, that could just be chalked up to Ianite-champion-knows-End-stuff shenanigans, but since we don’t know a lot about Z, we don’t know how they got started on this path of researching Enderwalkers.

As for other small things that kinda just fit with this, CaptainSparklez’s name ends with Z. It could be an easier way to sign off on things.

I haven’t really thought about this one much, but in the Voltz Wars series there are 3 groups. One is the researchers, who are (you guessed it) Ranboo and the Captain. Just something silly I realized while writing this.

Do I in any way believe this is the exact story that Ranboo is intending to reveal with the ARG? Not at all. Is it a silly thought experiment to put the Captain into the DSMP lore? Absolutely.

starborne worldbuilding - some thoughts on age

 some thoughts i had about how long starborne live, and different life-stages they go through & what each lifestage generally consists of. had these thoughts written down in my notes for awhile so may as well put em here.

starborne can live for a very long time, and culturally theres a great emphasis on reincarnation and rebirth. their main line of beliefs is “we are connected to every other thing”

• the first stage, is called “zinsyr”. it’s when starborne are considered children, and it’s the shortest stage. starborne generally don’t have any color yet - usually their star features are greyscale, most commonly white.

•  the next stage is called “zinfei”. it’s equivalent would be teenager to young adult. at the beginning of this stage, starborne start showing whatever color their star features are. these colors are based on a combination of their parents colors and how powerful their powers are.

for example: a blue and a yellow starborne could have a child who is blue, yellow, or green; two blue starborne will generally have a child who is blue; etc. 

exceptions: purple starborne, because of how powerful they are, generally won’t appear unless both parents have very strong powers. pure red starborne are rarer for a similar reason - even within the royal family, pure red starborne are uncommon. 

• the final stage, called “zyrfei”, is the longest and is equivalent to being an adult. starborne in this stage will start showing secondary features, if possible. examples of this include dragon-type starborne ( feirkyzir ) having larger horns with a small star floating between them.

all of them are zinfei still, though they’re fairly close in age. firez is the oldest, and he’s only slightly over halfway through this stage. 

wag is the youngest, and scott isn’t that much older than he is. of the mianite heroes, tucker’s the oldest. tom (wizard) is close to sparklez’ age, and tom (zombie) is the third youngest.

Hello MCYT fans, here I am again, with a new ‘complete’ lore post about the weapin designs above!

all the lore bellow the cut and thank ya’ll for the support over the last few months:

Techno:

Sword:

So for techno it was about lightness, it's a thin sword made out of diamond with gold designs and a neatly wrapped leather and pearl handle. It's a very long sword that hangs on his waist.  He doesn't use it much as a king has other people to do the dirty work for him. But when he does need to use it  it's all about swiftness, it has to be light but incredibly sharp to work quick and efficiently. No need to get his hands dirty, he has potatoes to farm.

Trident:

a beautifully used trident, one found by the legendary warrior philza, a saying carved in it for protection a meaningful gold plate placed on it before it was given to techno as a gift of thanks for always protecting those two need it. the red wrapping a gift from tommy. a red piece of cloth from an old jacket to always remember him and the gold chain made by wilbur as a token of kindness.

Axe:

the axe of peace, many that have heard of it think the weapon was forged by the famed awesamdude, they hear of the strong, powerful and scrap weapon that can take down army’s and think only a man of his skill could have forged it but in reality it’s a broken ace, used, worn made by the pig king himself on an adventure long ago, it is forged badly, pieces taken from different weapons he had found. stil stong but not because of the weapon but because of the man that wields it.

Wilbur:

Dagger:

A dagger made from iron with gold lettering a messily wrapped leather handle and a delicate music note hanger. Wilbur isn't one for fighting he's a talker he doesn't need a big sword to intimidate his enemies so it's not used much but it's always by his side.  The dagger itself was given to him by techno as a gift when he noticed his friend didn't have anything to defend himself. Wilbur uses it mostly for cutting food or to look at his reflection but he treasures the dagger and uses it when necessary.

Philza:

Sword:

A netherite sword with an obsidian handle and a diamond for detailing which techno gave to him long ago. His sword is incredibly heavy but one of the strongest swords ever made. Not everyone can carry it let alone use it but Phil uses it a lot.  it's his main weapon and he carries it on his back. The sword is one of the most admired weapons there is as it was made expertly and given to philza as a gift of thanks, he treasures the sword but knows it was made to be used and does to beautifully

Tubbo:

Dagger:

So tubbo has two small and used netherite daggers, engraved with little bees. He made them with help from philza himself when he was young, they arn't perfect, the handle on the left dagger is a little loose and the leather on the handles themselves are worn out but they are sharp and loved. created with attention and always by tubbos side

Tommy:

Sword:

His sword is a small but strong sword, thin and easy to conceal, the handle wrapped in a piece of Techno's cloak. It isn't used much but it's always carried, not many know of it.

Calvin:

Sword:

a big and incredibly powerful diamond sword with a heavy iron handle and a piece of old leather wrapped around the handle. a sword with many scars and bumps, taped together in places. for a fighter like calvin the sword doesn't matter, as long as it's sharp. it's not like you'll feel that bump on the left side as it punctures your heart.

Tapl:

Sword:

a golden sword, oddly shaped with an unusual wrapping around the handle. most people are to distracted by the sword to watch the man, which might just be the reason the fighter once bought it at a market. he was still young but he seemed to understand why he wanted that sword so specifically, now, so many years later the sword is worn with pride and whenever someone asks it's origins or the reason for the odd shape a different story is told.

Bow:

an extraordinarily beautiful iron bow with netherite tips for the arrows, not one crack, not one bump all you can see when you inspect the bow is the intricate drawings carved into the iron, nestor will only react with a small smile if you ask what they mean the bow itself is so silent it's almost useless, why would you ever need a bow so silent, he uses it all the time, how is it in such pristine condition, so many questions but the mysterious archer won't answer any of them.

Nihachu:

a beautifully crafted diamond sword with a gold handle. the detailing on the sword is matched by no other, the swiftness beautiful. most see a pretty young girl carry a pretty shiny sword and think nothing of her. before they know it the sword is at their neck big and strong and they blurt all their secrets out or they don't even see the sword before they leave the mortal world. no one even dares to say a bad word against her friends in fear of the sword and the woman that wields it

Eret:

Sword:

a golden sword, light, swift, unused. he is not a man to use brute strength to accomplish his goals but even the sight of the sword fears enough men to stop their insults. the ruby on the hilt was once found by tubbo on one of his adventures, he came back smiling and offered it to eret. not a day later did the ruby adorn the beautiful sword. the ruby is never dirty, the sword might have stains and might break but the ruby itself will never show ago.

Fundy:

Axe:

a basic iron axe in almost every way, not specifically sharp, a little to heavy for the young fox and maybe a bit to blunt but this axe doesn't need to be sharp to hurt.  touch it even slight by any part but the rubber handle and a surge of electricity will end any hopes of a long life. fundy doesn't always carry it, why should he but when it's needed its carried on his back, proud and strong

Skeppy:

a smaller diamond sword, one shinier then maybe needed. a sword with a history, given to skeppy when he was young by is kind father, one with a family history longer then most countries. during all those years only two things have changed. the leather wrap around the handle and the netherite scrap the wrap a piece of the badboyhalo's famous cloak given to skeppy when they first met and the scrap given by technoblade as thanks. the sword is loved and always by skeppy's side, both the additions loved by the fighter.

Badboyhalo:

Sword:

a delicate netherite sword made for the fighter by a legendary sword smith, when it was made for bad he insisted on the diamond in the handle, a diamond given by skeppy and the muffin at the base of the sword. when the sword was given to the fighter something happened that has never been seen before or after, a dark mist appeared when it was touched, it took over the sword like a cloak. when bad leaves it its normal, when he takes it the mist takes over. it seems to have a strange power that has never been explained, when an enemy get touched by the mist their skin burns like a coal touched it. bad doesn't use the sword much but its always polished and sharp ready when needed.

Sapnap:

a basic iron sword, not one that is very special when sapnap first bought it. no one knows what exactly he did with the sword that day but when the people saw the sword again it had a permanent smokey stain on it as if it's constantly burning from the inside.

Dream:

Axe:

a heavy and incredibly powerful netherite axe, in itself so powerful it couldnt be used by any man, the power needed just to hold it enough to scare any man but the eye on the top of the axe is what makes most run away at the sight the eye held at the top by a gold handle. the eye taken from a legendary ender man. not many have seen one let alone slain it and taken its eye not for the potions but just for decoration, just to show off you can.

George:

Sword:

A delicate diamond sword with gold and silver handle. the sword known to be from a historic house, a sword that every one of that family has with them at all time, only small details able to keep them apart. the power of just holding the sword is enough to frighten most.

Fruitberries:

Sword:

 a beautiful sword, one of the most elegant and smoothest swords in the land, light like a feather, made out of pure emeralds so sharp you could cut yourself by just looking at it. It's always in pristine condition worn at fruit's side with pride but don't underestimate it's beauty, don't get distracted by the way the sun reflects onto it as it swings your way

Quig:

Axe:

 a long axe, smooth and weightless, beaten and used, over time engraved with the gold he was given for his jobs. a purple stained piece of cloth wrapped for a handle. the axe recognized by all, worn at the fighters back, always in reach.

Illumina:

Daggers:

two netherite daggers, simple at first sight but when you look closer enchanted but...not intentional, it has some glow, like it ate the magic. was it because of all the dragons he had slaughtered, had the magic been sucked up or maybe it was just a trick of the light

Captain Sparklez:

Dagger:

a basic iron dagger, old used prepared to many times to count. a red wrap around the handle and part of the blade. on a part of the wrap a white checkers design was painted most think the design strangly resembles the cloak an old king from a time long past wore 

DanTDM:

Sword:

a beautifully intricate diamond sword, every once in a while it changed, little changes, big changes, doesn’t matter it’s always changing, evolving no one really knows how he does it but it doesn’t matter, the kids on the square always get exited when the travelling scientist from far off lands wanders into town again, they want to see what he did to the sword this time!

AntVenom:

Sword:

a solid golden sword, heavy, shiny, beautiful. adorned with the recognizable purple stone in the knife itself. the sword itself isn’t to interesting, not to beautiful, not to strong, not to sharp, not to broken but when the man wears it it becomes beautiful, strong, powerful, next to the black jacket the adventurer always wears it shines, no one knows how that exactly works maybe it’s just a trick of the light.

Schlatt:

a sword stone longer then anyone would need, thicker then is usefull and blunter than your butter knife. every enchantment has been trown on it, it is never used, it just hangs above schlatt’s desk in his office, never taken care of, dusty and broken. it hangs there as intimidation, no one who has seen it has been intimidated by it’s presence.

Punz:

Dagger:

a delicately beautiful gold and iron dagger, bigger then most, maybe a bit weird to have that size of a sword with you but punz is not one to fight all the time, he does not care for your boring squabbling he does what he wants and if he needs to use violence sure...he will and he will be proficient in it too.

two small netherite daggers, can be worn on his back, can be worn on a belt. easy to handle, incredibly strong and useful which is something a man like hbomb finds most important. three gold coins that were won during the most prestigious tournament in the land are pressed into the iron axe handle that holds the netherite blades and wood holds that, that way it can always be exchanged for either a stronger handle or possibly another coin.

As Tommy paddled the boat, Tubbo watched their communicator. “It sounds like she’s not at… wherever we’re going anymore.”

Tommy cursed. “Any clue where to go now then?”

Tubbo glanced down at the messages.

<CaptainSparklez> She’s not there anymore!

<Rendog> How? It’s surrounded by water

<CaptainSparklez> She’s a shapeshifter, not a hybrid.

<CaptainSparklez> Again. You’re a shapeshifter. Why are there feathers left behind.

Tubbo looked up and scanned the ocean before pointing out on the water. “Those feathers over there! It’s looking like she left them behind.”

Tommy smiled and turned the boat to follow the trail of feathers. It took a little bit, but the pair did reach land near a forest, though it had started raining. “Where do you think she is?”

Tubbo shrugged. “Don’t know. We don’t even know what she looks like.”

A calico cat walked nearby, then ran as the pair walked near it, making Tommy notice it. “Hey, must be a village nearby. Maybe she’s there for shelter?”

“I hope so. But she might just be hiding under some trees.” Tubbo suggested. As they continued to walk, Tommy saw movement near a tree and started to run toward it. Tubbo watched him run and then noticed the coloring of the form. “Tommy! Wait! That’s a-” The mob exploded. “-Creeper…”

“Aw myan!” The cat said as it sat down next to Tubbo, making them jump.

“Did that cat just talk?!” Tubbo said, nearly shouting from shock.

Said cat changed into what resembled a cat hybrid that reminded Tommy vaguely of Fundy. “Ye! I’m Crumb!”

“Cool! I’m Tommy and this is my friend Tubbo!”

Crumb tilted her head. “Ooo, really? Well I came here with Sparklez, he’s my dad. But i’m hidin’!”

“Want to hang out with us while you hide?” Tubbo suggested and the shapeshifter nodded, changing back into a cat and flopping over Tubbo’s shoulder. “Let’s boat back to your place and show it to Crumb.”

The now trio got into the boat and Tubbo watched as Crumb used her paw pads to type on her communicator and send a message.

<Crumbl> sprakle i made frends!

<Crumbl> Im gonna play wit tonmi and tubbox

Tubbo laughed. “I actually can be a Tubbox.” Tubbo said, making Tommy speak up as well.

“Tubbo in a box, what will he do?”

“Uwwu I’m so good at this!” Crumb replied proudly and Tubbo could feel her purr.

“So is what the captain said true?” Tubbo asked. “Are you really a shapeshifter, not a hybrid?”

“Ye! I um, I’m a badass shapeshifter!” Tommy and Tubbo tried not to laugh at the sound of this cat with a voice like that saying something like that, but they couldn’t hold it in and Crumb also started laughing along. “I’m super strong and beat the Ender Dragon when we had lotsa random potion effects!”

“That sounds so cool.” Tubbo complimented Crumb and then the three of them continued to chat as they rowed along.

Sparklez was glad to see another message from Crumb and see she had made some friends. When he read their names, he froze for a moment. It couldn’t be. This was nowhere near where he should have been. He shook his head. No, it was just coincidence. Crumb probably just misspelled it when typing.

<CaptainSparklez> Alright Crumb, have fun. Just don’t get in trouble.

He laughed as a message came back, distracting him from his previous train of thought.

<Crumbl> No prmosed! Were ginna conmit crim!

“I’m a danger to society!” Crumb shouted as she pounced on a chicken, no longer just a cat, but looking like a very squishy cat that could be mistaken as a stuffed animal at a glance. She had wanted to stay a cat, but by complete chance, another calico cat showed up and Tommy and Tubbo nearly went after the normal cat. She also liked how the pair approved of such a squishy looking cat going left and right killing mobs.

When a parrot flew above her, she jumped to try and grab it, but it was just a little too high for her to reach. “Come down here! I wanna eat you! Mumnch and crumnch!”

The parrot squawked and flew over to land on Tommy’s head. “Oh, leave this one alone. I think this is one of Grian’s. Part of his pesky bird delivery service. 

“But it just looks so tastyyy! Crumb jumped again. It made Tubbo wonder how much of it was just how she acts, or if being a cat so long made her act like one.

“Oh, speaking of Grian. He sent me a message.” Tommy says as he pulls out his communicator. With the flood of messages from the visitors - well, one in particular - Grian sent the message on their own private chat.

<Grian> bring Tubbo if you want but it’s parrot brain hours

<TommyInnit> he probably won’t be coming. We made a friend with one of the guests. Don’t really want to leave her all alone.

<Grian> that makes sense.

<Grian> and bring any extra wheat you can

<TommyInnit> okay, definitely not letting Tubbo come. It’ll shatter my manly image.

<Grian> dad left me books about shifting and I’ve had plenty of time to read. Did you know I can just give myself a beak or talons without shifting completely?

<TommyInnit> woah, hey. Alright big G, I’ll be there as soon as I can.

Tommy looked up to see Tubbo glancing at their communicator. “He messaged me directly, H is talking too much.” Tubbo nodded. “Big G wants me for something. Okay if I let you two hang out by yourselves?”

“Ye! We’re gonna have lotsa fun together! And den we can go see my dad!”

“I can’t wait to meet him!”

Tommy waves and then starts to boat off, using it as a platform once he’s far enough out at sea to safely use his elytra. He stops at his base and goes through his chests, making some hay bales. Afterwards he flies to the mansion and up near the roof where he knows Grian is going to be. 

It was a room made in one of the side roofs of the mansion. The main one sat above the great hall with windows wide open, but the areas to the side were a little more closed off. This one also had a large window, but there usually wasn’t much in there.

Right now however, the place was littered with a few beds and wool and hay bales. Grian was in the center of it all, wings spread out. In the small room they looked much larger. 

“Hey, I brought the hay.” Tommy joked, holding out the bundled wheat. Grian immediately took it and started spreading it around. “Hoo boy. Are you sure you don’t want Mumbo here, orrrr?”

“Oh he definitely wants me here.” Mumbo’s voice speaks up as he pushes a wing off him, only for it to flop back down, pinning his legs. His tie is loose and his suit is a mess along with his hair. “It’s been fine for a while. Just stay in bed, maybe wake up in the middle of the night to a nightmare. I forgot how he gets when he’s like this.”

Tommy nodded. He had only really seen this twice. The first time he managed to decline, much to Grian’s dismay, but the second time there was no way out of it with Grian now knowing they were brothers.

Tommy knows he could have said no this time, but seeing everything that happened the day of the war and the night following made Tommy worried, and he wanted to be there.

Grian smiles as he finishes moving blocks and beds and carpets around. He nudged a few stray pieces of wheat and cotton around with his feet and wings. He knows it would be so much easier to use his hands, but it just doesn’t feel right. 

The avian stares at the nest he’s built. It’s perfect. Maybe a little small for right now, but that’s just because the kids are still on their way. He thinks that he could make it bigger. Big enough to fit the rest of his family, but they aren’t around. So he settles for Mumbo and Tommy. 

He pulls Tommy into the nest, making sure he’s comfortable before putting each of his wings around Tommy and Mumbo. Mumbo half bats the wing away as feathers get into his mouth, but he’s too exhausted from helping to set this up in the first place to complain much more.

Grian holds them close. He could lose everything else if he still had the people he cared about most. He would do anything to protect them.

Crumb is excited as Tubbo boats the two of them towards the shopping district. She really wanted her dad to meet her new friend. And Tubbo was very much a new friend with a nickname and everything.

When they landed, she hopped out of the boat and shifted to a hybrid form before running off to find her dad. Tubbo was left running behind her, aging a little trouble keeping up.

“Sprinklez!!! Look at my new friend!” She jumped into her dad’s arms, shifting back into her cat form. He looked around not seeing anyone for a moment before a panting Tubbo caught up.

“You… couldn’t have… waited for me?” Tubbo panted out, trying to catch his breath.

“Dis is Tubbox! He has another friend but but but I don’ have a good name for him yet so he’s just Tommy.”

Sparklez smiles and shifts Crumb to hold out a hand. “Nice to meet you. Captain Sparklez. But most people just use my last name or even just use Jordan. The one exception being Crumb who likes to call me Sprinklez or of course just Dad.”

Tubbo’s eyes sparkle. “Wait, you’re the Captain?! I’ve heard so much about you! You travel across so many worlds and are known for the songs you’ve written and your curse! I mean, the curse isn’t the most popular thing to know about, but uh…”

Sparklez just laughed. “It’s fine. I’m sure I’m going to get rid of it soon enough. Glad to meet another fan, especially if you’re friends with Crumb now.”

“Yeah, she’s pretty pog.” Tubbo jokes and they continue to talk. He doesn’t give his real name since Crumb seems to like using ‘Tubbox’. He doesn’t know how much it could change their life’s if he did.

The netherite blocks go up and there’s the sound of redstone being messed with. He looks out to watch as the lava slowly disappears. Across the chasm he can see an equally black and white figure. He can already feel the energy on them.

Even with his admin powers gone, he still has some tricks up his sleeve. And there are always strings to pull.

ok here we go:

Dream - a separate entity from DreamXD, though they are related; perhaps XD is from another universe? anyways, Dream was possessed by a 'Dreamon' at a young age, making him think that things like manipulation are ok simply because he didn't know any better. he says he's trying to get better, but is he? no. this is just another trick to make Tommy think he can change. Jacob Sheep horns are slowly growing (sheep-hybrid thanks to his mother, Cpt. Puffy). Him becoming family with George and Sapnap made him realize that he can make his own family, an idea which he twisted and turned into manipulation. In his words, paraphrased, he "did a bad thing but for good reasons" which were "bringing the server together"; he wanted to be a family with him in control, a dictatorship, a hivemind.

Drista - Dream's sister, more related to XD than Dream is. somewhat OP but has morals unlike her brother.

George - Mooshroom hybrid!! Has a little mushroom crown and cape because he thinks of himself as royalty (he isn't) - has little horns and a little tail. Misses Dream the most out of the Dream Team, but somewhat afraid of him. Wants 'the old dream' back, which was partly a persona and partly Dream learning about found family. He tries not to get involved with politics or the server after the events of the first wars, because he's scared. Sleeps through things as an excuse. Awesamdude's kid - doesn't tell anyone.

Sapnap - Dragon hybrid - has small horns and a tail, with burn marks at the base of them. His hands and feet are clawed and burnt. He also wants their Dream back, but understands that he was always corrupt and has mostly gotten over it. Wants to help with the Egg but, like George, doesn't like getting involved with big things on the server. He's ashamed of his dragon heritage, covering up his head burns with a headband and covering his horns with his hair; he hides his tail under a cape and wears gloves as well. Sapnap has unnaturally orange eyes, which he would change with contacts, if they didn't melt anytime he tried. Battle-scarred and hungry to start fights and sever friendships out of boredom. Badboyhalo's child.

Callahan - Cervitaur (deer-centaur). Distantly related to Puffy, Captain Sparklez, and Schlatt. I will admit, I have never watched him, and I don't think he's ever been too involved in server politics? Just a simple deer man trying to live his life.

Awesamdude - Creeper centaur thing (he and Callahan are... cousins? i guess?). Incredibly insecure about his morality and the fact that George doesn't talk to him much. Thinks he's a bad person. He becomes a father figure to Tommy through his Sam Nook persona - slowly gaining his confidence back through his real estate and his (illegal) adoption of the gremlin. Badass. Runs the prison by himself because he feels the need to prove himself, and he doesn't know anyone that would be up to the job.

Alyssa - inactive :[ probably human

Ponk - Human!! One of the few humans on this server, actually! He quite likes building and terraforming; he makes very aesthetic builds (see; war campsite). He and Sam are close friends. Ponk is also a parental figure to Tommy, but is closer to the fun uncle. The three of them steal together and then Ponk and Sam cover for Tommy because who could accuse them of lying?? Hesitant to join in with politics.

BadBoyHalo - Demon. Very, very tall demon. Large. Pretty wholesome. I honestly don't know what else to say about him lmao I haven't been paying attention to the Egg much. He and Skeppy are a thing though. Wishes his son would stop killing people's pets to start wars.

TommyInnit - He doesn't know what kind of hybrid he his, but he isn't human. His eyes change color with mood, going from a light grey to an extremely vibrant cobalt blue. He believes he may be part raccoon, or part bird(?) on Philza's side. Phil wasn't around during his childhood; Tommy only knew him as the hero from the strories that his older brother Wilbur told him. Philza killing Villain!Bur cemented his heroship, which is why Tommy sees him as a father figure. Wilbur never told him that he (Phil) was their father. Tommy is actually part siren, but his gills and fins haven't appeared yet. His PTSD is triggered by Dream, blackstone, tnt, people asking for his armor, and a few other things. An extremely traumatized kid. Best friends with Tubbo.

Tubbo - Sheep hybrid. His horns started coming in during Schlatt's presidentship, making him think he was a goat and following in his footsteps. In reality, he's Captain Sparklez's son; related to Schlatt yes, but not at all like him. He likes headbutting the people he loves, including his best friend Tommy. Wholesome, but still a chaotic being of destruction. He and Ranboo are also very good friends!

Fundy - Fox shifter; unlike most of the other hybrids on this server (other than Techno), he can turn into an anthro fox. Canonically transgender! Son to WilburSoot and Sally the Salmon (another shifter). Wilbur was an amazing father while Fundy was small, but started neglecting him during the Presidency, when he really needed a father. The two grew apart further during Pogtopia, and Fundy still tries to refuse his father's attempts at redemption. Despite this, Fundy and Ghostbur, even though they've had arguments, have a better relationship. Fundy is even one of the people who are attempting to bring back Wilbur. He sees Phil as a somewhat father figure despite him trying to be bitter towards him. Very involved with L'manburg and DreamSMP poilitics, but has taken a step back since his dad's death. Fundy also canonically misses Schlatt and wants him to be proud of him. He picked up smoking from him.

Punz - gonna be honest, I have never watched Punz.

Purpled - Enderdragon hybrid. Like Sapnap, but purple lol. Use to have a healthy rivalry with Technoblade, but doesn't talk to him anymore. A bit reserved. I don't watch him either idk if you could tell.

Wilbur - Bird hybrid, like Philza; his wings were clipped by Dream when he first began fighting for independence. Good friends with Technoblade. Wilbur was an idealistic person, and he was probably the most loyal member of L'manburg. He was so upset about the betrayals, he thought of them not as betrayals to the country, but to himself. When Schlatt took over, he began to panic. His perfect nation was being ruined, his nation, HIS nation. He thought of it as his and his alone; all those other people? They were side characters. L'manburg his unfinished symphony wasn't his anymore. It scared him. He began planning to take the country out because, well, if he can't have him, then no one can. He manipulated Tommy, making him go along with his plan, slowly becoming more insane and destructive. Deep down, Wil still loved his family, and his country, and his lost lover, but that didn't matter to him anymore. After blowing up L'manburg (the first explosion), Wilbur broke down. He realized what he had done, he'd become a bad guy; he'd worked with Dream. He asked his father to kill him. And so Philza did.

Ghostbur - Wings work again. Ghostbur pretends not to remember, he pretends that he's changed in death, but he remembers all of it. The bad memories hurt him now, more than ever, and he just can't deal with it; so he doesn't. Water makes him melt, and that includes tears. He's trying so hard to be a good person, he's trying so hard to be a good father, a good brother, a good friend. But it isn't working. He's still, though unintentionally, hurting people, and he feels so bad about it.

Schlatt - Ram hybrid. Brother to Puffy and Jordan (Sparklez). Schlatt is a smoker and an alcoholic, and a power hungry dictator. Or well, that's the persona he puts on. Schlatt, in reality (still /dsmp) genuinely does not give a fuck. He didn't care what happened, because he knew that people disliked him. He knew for a fact that he would be killed. This is why I believe he offed himself. He planned his stroke, or heart attack, the fandom doesn't seem to know which. He probably ingested some bad protein powder or poison or something, maybe he drank himself to death, maybe he OD'd and then drank, we don't know. But it seems unlikely that someone like him would let his body give out like that without a reason. Oh yeah, and he and Quackity were married at some point, but it was too short to really mean anything.

Ghlatt - Ghlatt, though still addicted to alcohol and various drugs, feels bad about being a bad person in his life. He thinks that it's a good thing he died, that the server benefited from his death, and that he shouldn't have become a ghost. He's right, of course, but I like to think that he's regained morality. Maybe now, in the afterlife, he can work on himself. Ghlatt isn't strong enough to take a physical form, so he borrows Ghostbur's occasionally.

Skeppy - Some sort of Diamond Ore man?? I think he's human. He and BBH have a thing. I don't think I've ever watched a Skeppy DreamSMP stream. Uhh Egg?? Egg. Badlands boys woo.

Eret - Herobrine is his cousin. Like. Yeah. That Herobrine. Anyways, they're a king, and they're more of an Awesomedude morally grey type character. Her only interest is survival, and I respect that. I haven't really paid much attention to him though. Their crown has bi flag colored gems on it :]

Jack Manifold - Jack Manifol! Jack Manifall~~ Jack Manifall.. off bridge!! Jack Manidrown :} OH SHIT- (i dont watch him)

Niki - Human. Wears Wilbur's old coat. Though she did go through a tough spot after Wilbur's death, she now runs a flower shop with Puffy. Dyes her hair often. I don't watch her either.

Quackity - Duck hybrid; wings were clipped upon his joining the server. His face scar was canonized :] Alex genuinely liked Schlatt, but realized he was being mistreated so he joined Pogtopia. He felt bad about it though. I don't have many headcanons for him to be honest.

Mexican Dream - ok am i the only one that wasn't into this arc?? i didn't even watch any of it. i saw him like once and was like "oh this is just a bit" and left wtf. was he important???

Karl Jacobs - Time Traveler man; human. Karl is slowly losing his memory due to his travel between timelines. The more he does it, the more he loses. I look forward to seeing this progress. Are he, Sapnap, and uhhh someone else actually engaged?? I like that headcanons :] I don't remember who the other person is though.

HBomb - Cat maid.

Technoblade - Piglin shifter. Techno is softer than he seems, and he genuinely enjoys the company of Ranboo and his friend Philza. Technoblade met Phil after saving him from wither skeletons in the Nether, making short visits to the Overworld until he built up an immunity. Philza - Wings were beat up during the explosion; he tried to protect Wilbur with them, but still ended up failing. He's the father to Wilbur and Tommy, with Techno being an old friend of his. He canonically really likes cobblestone. Phil tries his best to be the dad, but his morals are all over the place. Lately, he's unofficially adopted Ranboo, helping him with his uh. Issues.

Connor - Human in a Sonic onesie idk i dont watch him

Puffy - Sheep Hybrid. Sister to Schlatt and Jordan, mother to Dream. I really don't know tbh; she's everyone's adoptive mom. She's what Philza and Awesamdude wish they could be.

Thank you dear reader, these stories are drawing to a close and now I must relate to you the story of the Captain, champion of Ianite, hero of balance.

But before I begin his tell I must talk of a Sadly departed friend. The goddess Kels lady of insight. A lesser god borne from the dreams of the lady Ianite she was the god that ruled over seers and wisdom. In ancient times she was often depicted as an owl on the shoulders of the lady Ianite or the lord Mianite to represent either insight or wisdom of her perch. Many years ago in my travels I met her and we discussed affairs. As a fellow abstract entity with a Bird vessel I felt a kinship. Sadly her end was met by the darkness. A terrible being that devours gods.

I tell this story because kels was the goddess worshipped in a small but powerful nation whose name was put to rest by its finally surviving citizens. And it is in this nation blessed by the goddess of seers that we find the birth place of The Captain. Son to a viscountess and a marquis. The captain's father was the first prince of the country but, deciding his skills in governance was weak he abdicated his claim to the throne to his younger brother and instead took up position as the war chancellor. Overseeing all of the nation's forces. The Young captain was born with claim to the throne even being named crown prince for a the time being due to the lack of heirs from the current king and was even given a military rank as homage to his father's position, the rank of captain. The country thrived for a long time. The seers and mystics of the land constantly pushing them forward protecting the country from attack and wearing their enemies through mystic subterfuge. Then one day the lady Kels stopped granting them her insight. And soon after tragedy struck.a great and terrible monstrosity struck. A blue dragon with three heads. A terrible monster known only as the queen. It was known to the mystics of the country for a long time but they thought that it couldn't cross the barriers of its home deminsion to theirs. What they didn't know was that it was due to the intervention of their God. The young captain only survived due to his father's help, he stuffed the young captain into a barrel and pushed it into the sea. Sending out prayers to any God that would listen that he would find safe passage. The queen was forced back to its home by Ianite who noticed it as it attacked a settlement at the edge of a territory that worshiped it. Sadly the destruction of the kingdom couldn't be avoided, with the darkness recently striking the other gods were too fearful to even peer into that corner of the world. The young captain washed up on the shore of a jungle he fashioned himself a knife from rocks and sticks and began to explore the land. During the day he forged hunted and set up camp and at night he tossed and turned with nightmares of watching his home burn. The darkness of the inside of the barrel, the rocking of the waves that helplessly carried him away, the horrific roars of the queen. He started sleeping less instead focusing more and more on his survival. Crafting better weapons and honing his skills against the monsters of the jungle in this place it seemed all manner of things existed that weren't in the world at large, strange creatures and even stranger sights. Though the strangest was the slime that seemed much too nice for its own good. The Captain almost cut it down on a sight but when it didn't jump at him to attack he got curious and approached it. Soon the slime became his only friend in this land full of hostile creatures. He fashioned strong and stronger weapons from the creatures he slew using them to strengthen himself as he began to create a goal for himself. He would get revenge find the queen and slay it.

Now dear reader I must tell you that the young captain found himself in a nexus, when the queen ripped open a hole through to our world from hers she connected them for a brief period the captain's barrel rode partly into this zone into a plain between them. Leaving him partially in both deminsions. Its a state usually called plainstriding. Know that plainstriders have dual sights seeing both their world and another even after returning to a single reality often they are surrounded by shimmering auras the veil separating the world's more visible around them .Though right now this information isn't important. One night while sleeping he was awoken by the footsteps of a Giant beast. It's silhouette was a shadow on the sky everywhere it walked left the earth shattered and barren. At first the captain thought to run but quickly the idea was tossed away if he could kill this thing it would be the first real step towards proving that the queen could be felled. The captain charged this beast some would call it mobzilla and with his sharp blade for three days straight the two struggled and fought until finally. It fell. For miles the jungle was a wreck the poison blood of the creature salting the earth. The Captain stripped scales from the corpse fashioning armor from it. He took its bones and ground them up using them to strengthen his blades. Though the thought soon occurred to him that he hadn't seen his slime friend in some time. It was then and only then that he realize the extent that his battle scarred the land. With how slow the slime was and how large the effected area was it was doubtful that his friend survived. He was alone again. He hadn't even named the slime, why would he it was only the two of them here what's the point of a name, he couldn't even remember his own name. Much deeper into the jungle he found a tree much larger than the others. And decided to build his base of operations high into the tops of the tree over looking the jungle he decided to honor the slime with a name and name the tree in honor of the slime, Jerry the slime and Jerry's tree. A home it would never expirence.

It took years for him to learn to travel through deminsions at will using the unique position to find unique position to travel to different worlds slowly but surely fighting monsters and solving puzzles until he finally found the world of the queen. First having to go up against it's mate, white three headed dragon he called the king, then finally finding and slaying the queen by his own hands. He taking only a single scale from the queens body the egg it was guarding and his blade. He placed all three on a shrine to his lost friend and the lives lost in his kingdom. The lady Ianite who watched him achieve his revenge finally marked him as her chosen champion and brought him back from the nexus. While he slept. He woke on a beach the oddly smiling face of a zombie named syn in his face welcoming him to the realm. The lost prince, captain do to his statues as a plainstrider seemed to shimmer and quickly gained the name sparklez for it.

*looks over list* Gods there's too many, bro. Way too many but I'll take the main ones of mine and throw them on the table for you to see.

Dan and Stampy, they aren't actually together but they both have huge crushes on each other. Dan shows his affection more than Stampy does. The two actually met during a war between the Gem Kingdoms and Hybrids. Stampy at the time had problems with well being a feral animal and he couldn't control himself. Dan created some medicine and gave it to Stampy on the battlefield to control Stampy and his behavior. The two fell in love. The meds worked and Stampy acts more human than animal now but Stampy needs to take the medicine every full moon (the medicine is in a form of lip gloss so it gives the two a chance to kiss :) ). Dan is a lonely helpless guy who yearns for a lover and will make a fool out of himself when trying to get hot guy's attention. Stampy likes things calm and collected but Dan is an acception since Stamps knows he needs a but of love and crazy in his life.

Sparklez and Ant, also aren't dating because they're afraid of the criticism they'd get for it. They only "date" when alone. They met when Sparklez became king and created the Redstone Kingdom. At first Ant hated him and his romantic gestures and flirts but soon grew found of them. He'll be able to keep it together and not blush in public but when the two are alone Ant is a blushing mess. Ant loves getting any sort of attention from Sparklez and Sparklez loves getting affection from Ant. They love each other very much :3

Xisuma and Doc, I'm working on the story behind how they met but to I'll explain it. Xisuma met Doc while on a mission in Doc's dimension. Xisuma bought Doc during an auction and took him home. It was a rough start at first because Doc refused to listen and basically acted like a wild animal. For a few months all Doc did was bit and scratch and hiss, never listened. It all stopped one day when X was brought home by Sparklez after an explosion accident on his throat. Doc had gotten concerned and wanted to help any way he could. It took 35 years but they finally confessed, started dating and then got married. Doc loves cuddles (he's like a cat almost). Xisuma doesn't mind when Doc ends up pulling him away from his work to get him into bad and asleep.

Seto and Brice, they had met when Seto had shot Brice down when Brice was in dragon form. So basically the How to Train Your Dragon plot but it's gay and the dragon can turn human and the human boi is a sorcerer. They were married and had 5 kids (sorcerer, gender changing spells/potions). Then Seto fell into a coma for... 487 years. He came back to Brice but he an old boi. Brice can age, Seto can't. Since the two knew that being together would be too weird since Seto looks like he's 30 and Brice looks 80, the two divorced. Brice then set Seto up with his roommate Isaac.

Seto and Isaac, jumping from the last one. Seto at first hated Isaac and his sexual...ness. Seto wasn't very found of Isaac until Brice... He left one day and then Isaac became Seto's support system. The two started slowly dating and at first the big rule was that Isaac had to give Seto at least 4 feet of distance and stop with the sexual... everything. It took a while but Seto slowly warmed up to Isaac. Since Isaac can't sleep (because he's a puppet ghost thing) he watches over Seto and makes sure his sleep schedule doesn't fuck itself up.

Wilbur and Schlatt, oh my gods this one is mmmmm, this couple isn't together and it's that good angst kinda ship. Forbidden love. Because of the kingdoms and their rules, these two can't be together, they long to be together one day but for now it's all about wishing and heartbreak. The two met when they were teens, living in the Emerald Kingdom. They had a coffee together and then never saw each other again. They met again when they both were paired up for an assigned dimensional mission. Wilbur brings out Schlatt's caring side while Schlatt brings out Wilbur's chaotic side. Like ying and yang almost.

Grian and Mumbo, I love these two. The met when Mumbo was in the hospital for a broken elbow and Xisuma was there to pick him up. When they were leaving they passed by a small avian that caught both of their attention. After some pleadings from Mumbo the two stayed and started up a conversation with the lil avian, well they tried until Mumbo thought of the idea of having Grian write. For the few weeks Grian was kept there Mumbo would come in every day to visit. Xisuma later adopted Grain and that was Mumbo's best day ever. Mumbo is usually the only one that can calm Grian down when he gets too wild or upset and Grian is usually the only one who is able to pull Mumbo out of his little world of redstone and get him away from his work. Both are so soft and adorable (๑•ᴗ•๑)♡.

Grim and Jerry, oh boi now these two. Grim is DanTDM's skeleton dog and Jerry is Sparklez's slime son. Both are hybrid humans in my AU. They are dating but if you ask them if they are dating they'll refuse and say they aren't. No one really understands their relationship since Jerry is always a dick to people and Grim is always a sweetheart. The two are like complete opposites but the one thing they both love is going out and killing Alumas (soul takers) and pranking people. The two own a podcast studio where they live and make stupid content for the internet. Yes they live together. Sparklez is concerned for them while Dan loves them.

There's a few others I have but those guys are still in the process of development. Like there's Skylox, Merome, crack ship Carson x Charlie (you'll understand once the comic comes out), Mason x Kori (Sky's son x an oc of mine) and some other side ships that hide in the dark.

Oh yeah, Sky's son is in the comic but he's older so yeah :p
