I love imagining your BENT turtles after finding out Donnie's ages.

On one hand, Leo would be whining to Donnie about Raph and Mikey being mean to him, since Donnie is technically the oldest.

On the other hand, Raph treats Donnie like the baby and like he's still tiny, because in his mind he is, and yells at anyone that so much as looks at him wrong.

And Mikey just watches it all in mild amusement.

Their dynamic is definitely a fun one! Totally agree that after talking about ages they would all change how they interact with each other a bit

Have you ever done Erisol bloodswap designs before?

ive drawn a couple specifically for eridan, and have talked and bounced around ideas in length about a LOT of erisol ones in dms LMAO; the one that keeps making me lose my mind (thats my own thing to share at least LOL) is cerulean sollux and olive eridan

im PRETTY SURE, if i remember right, this is specifically based on inverted colors; eridan is green when inverted which leads to olive + his quirk and nicknames being inverted too lol. meanwhile sollux's inversion from yellow to blue probably SHOULD have been indigo, but god... the idea of sollux being themed around using bad luck was too good to pass on making him cerulean LOL. he's probably more of a ttrpg nerd over a tech nerd in this swap too lmaoo

all this has confirmed to me is that it's fun to get excited and think, completely fueled by mass hope and delusion, that for a season, the basic writing structure and showrunners knowledge of character development, pacing and screenwriting will miraculously improve. 9-1-1 unfortunately, objectively, is, however, basically just a flaming dumpster fire punctuated with rare moments of the extraordinary and profound. that non withstanding. this show is an actual incoherent disaster. and if you're still continuing to watch it, lower your expectations, laugh off your disappointments, don't take it too seriously, and make peace with its quality.

kinda wild how people could be using common internet abbreviations, slang, and stuff to express what is essentially the same concept, but are interpreting them in slightly different ways. I mean, that is generally how language works, but it's still fascinating to think about.

Honestly from what I've been reading, Cheryl started out as someone who was content with lazing around with her pokemon peacefully. Like she wasn't exactly a trainer, so to speak, just someone who simply lived with and loved pokemon. From the sounds of it she was a healer? Which I find interesting.

At some point, something happens that makes her want to explore and battle more. Maybe she always wanted to but was too afraid to do so on her own? Anyway, the end result is her growing to love battling and being able to explore places and meet new people.

One more thing about Cheryl ( hc) : this isn't said at all, but just from her dialogue about breathing in the air and the scent of the air, I think she might be from Floaroma Town. It does kinda fit her vibe ngl. Maybe she works ( worked) at the flower shop there, who knows.

Y'all know that post about that talked about how they find outspoken/progressive heroines in period dramas to be "pandering and unrealistic" at times, especially if they are outspoken without any repercussions et cetera? I'm going to be completely real with you all--I think the people who wholeheartedly agreed with that post embrace a loser mindset in feminism where you cannot acknowledge outstanding women and constantly have to reassure the average woman who seeks nothing that they're totally valid too <3

It's one thing if the dialogue sounds like twitter threads or incredibly hamfisted in general, but what is wrong with venerating women who went against the grain by focusing on their stories? I don't think that uplifting the cream of the crop of women dehumanizes the average woman that did what was expected of her, which is what the OP of the poster and the people who reblogged that shit acted like it was.
