cleaning out a bin of random junk I've accumulated over the past 10 years and among a bunch of charger cables and broken headphones I found a crumpled skymall magazine page. The following is written in my handwriting around an image of a diamond ring:

Hate that so many major retail websites are now listing items from other sellers mixed in with their own merchandise... I was putting in a Target order while my mom had Covid and there was all this stuff that wasn't actually from Target, it was from random online retailers I had never heard of. I'm looking through the Michaels website to get supplies for work and they are trying to sell me things from Skymall. And at least with Target you can filter them out if you ask to. Michaels doesn't have that option. I just want to shop at the place that I'm looking at.
#my michaels kind of sucks and I don't want to go in and discover they're out of stuff that I need#so I usually place a pickup order or at least look online to make sure they have it at my store#I don't want to use michaels to buy from skymall!
