Very funny! But the building of Vander, down to Singed going to get the wolves, is shown to happen during season 2, act 1, a time Viktor spends in his goo frame.

So no, at worst Singed went grave digging for Vander's corpse, and had him around in a vial sort of like his daughter. But he didn't have him off the ceiling on tenterhooks.

It's funny though because Singed belatedly uses Vander's shimmered corpse solely as a calling card to get a new boss to bankroll him.

This season was far from perfect but it made me feel so much

I can't stop thinking about Ekko and Jinx and Viktor and Jayce and then I just break down crying

The way I laughed through my tears when I watched the ending fight; Ekko the boy who shattered time and Jayce's and Viktor's souls united through eternity, through all timelines

I wish I could rip all memories of this series from my brain so I can experience it again

My favorite thing about him is that he never pretended he wasn't being selfish, he was like "yeah I made the whole undercity addicted to shimmer but hey I'm trying to bring my daughter back and it's working" he really gave zero fucks.

absolutely obsessed that singed of all characters took the fattest W in the end like here's dr. plotdevice mcwarcrimes chilling in the background actively making things worse for everyone through the whole show but was so committed to minding his own business he walked out completely unscathed with his daughter newly restored. king shit honestly

I think the thing about watching Arcane as a scientist is that I think the show is truly really really good at showcasing how most scientists are kinda evil when they're left unchecked or not taught how to not be evil. The way Jayce genuinely had no backbone or agency could be seen as a character or even writing flaw, but I think it's amazing writing because yeah that's just how most men in stem are. The naïveté at the start between Viktor and Jayce about how they're gonna help people with Hextech made me uncomfortable because I see a lot of myself in that as a researcher, how my research will touch people and help them. Viktor was really the only voice of reason whenever Jayce was swayed by politics (and don't even get me started about scientists in politics) and even then at the end it was Viktor's ideals and his wants that swayed whatever good he could've done with the Hexcore (if any). I think the echo chamber and unlimited power and funding they obviously got didn't help matters. All the scientists in this show do awful things with their science; Viktor, Jayce, Jinx (because yes she is a very talented scientist), Heimerdinger and Singed. Only Ekko uses his discoveries for good. Everyone else destroyed everything and lamented with a type of "what on earth have I done" moment after which is seen in history again and again (minus Singed but that man is truly evil). The boy saviour had everything in his hands that he could've ever wanted and still ended up with nothing because his need for the greater good superseded any type of scientific greed he could possess.

I'm receiving a lot of requests, including some truly amazing ones that I can't wait to work on, but at the moment, I'm trying to write a Silco x Reader long fic set in the AU of Episode 7 (in fact, I had already written 4 pages about what we saw in Episode 5, focusing on the mines, but I had to change it because I preferred the other scenario). So, if you notice that I’m not posting requests for a while, it’s because I’d like to post at least one chapter first and then get back to posting as usual.
