It is game day. Andrei's first SFL preseason game had everyone excited and nervous. Malaysia, Benjamin, his family, and some former college teammates gathered in a suite to cheer him on.

The first half was tough, with both team struggling and making mistakes, but the second half was a shootout. With The Roots ultimately winning the game with a field goal. While Andrei didn’t score any touchdowns, his performance was impressive.

Pathologic VN/DateSim - Burakovsky and Stamatins

I think I need to share some thoughts on those routes cause even though for Daniil my favourite route is and will be Block's I tried the other two. It's not that "painful" to say "no" to Alexander although... yeah. And in case of Artemy - sorry, but Rubiruspex is the one and only option for me, I physically can't chose someone else but Stakh.

Note: English translation of the game is made by a group of enthusiasts and not by game devs, as far as I know. Day 4 is not translated. So I think you can try to contact dev team (see the original post with links, the link to it is at the beginning of this post) and ask them about those enthusiasts if you wish to help this project to be know amongst English speaking fans of Pathologic.

Basically, it is what it is, what you can expect from this romance: Cub (or Bear in Russian, I prefer this term more) is warm, caring, simple guy, he is honest (well, you know who he is), single father of two which is, of course, used in this route. It's pretty cozy story: for example, when you see interaction of Daniil and Murky you feel they can become great family, he reads a book for her making up a story (since the book in written in Steppe language) - the man has a great fantasy, I must say.

On Day 1, if I remember correctly, Daniil finds an amulet which looks different from those he saw during the plague days. He tries to give it to Artemy but he refuses cause "it arrived to your hands" and Daniil is searching for the meaning of this amulet. Turns out the amulet is a "love confession" (Sticky tells about its true meaning), so Daniil gives it to Artemy on Day 4 again now knowing what this will mean and knowing what he feels towards Burakh (they have a very sweet dance scene). But the Haruspex refuses to accept it again saying they need to wait until Tailagan (some steppe holiday which will take place on Day 5) and then if Daniil offers it again Artemy accepts it. So... I think technically they will marry each other. =)

I liked that route even though Burda is not my No1 ship but it's very very warm.

So, and now the twins.

I would say at some point I like it more than Artemy's route. Maybe because interaction with Peter was emotionally stronger in my taste. Let's just say it have some prons and cons to me personally.

General information: twins "scream" "sex drugs and rock-n-roll". Well, mostly "sex" considering the writers decided to portrait their story with Farkhad as a story of three lovers, plus twins also sleep with each other (I am neautral towards it, I've seen beautiful pieces of art with Andrey and Peter being together and I just think it's an obvious thing which can be used in their situation. But in my fanfic I wrote them without this feature, to me they are brothers and that's it but enought about me).

Pros: as I said above, the scene with Peter on Day 4 (and I personally feel more love towards him. Sorry, Andrey, I love you too but...). Daniil and Peter draw together and use it as a therapy to release their pain and struggle (mostly towards the loss of Polyhedron), to put them out of their hearts and heads on a paper. Very enotional episode.

Cons: I don't really like how Andrey acts towards Peter sometimes, it feels like he, the elder brother, is depending on Peter, not vise versa. He finishes Peter's phrases, he tries too hard to be with him. At the same time when we talk to Peter, he tells us he wanted to be more independent at the beginning of his career. So... this relationships looks a bit painful for both of them. And another thing which I didn't like (but it can be treated as a "historical accurate" detail): at the end of Day 4 when three agreed to have sex together (which will happen on Day 5, I'm sure) Daniil offers to bring morphine with him. Why is it historically accurate? At the beginning of XX century many medical doctors were taking morphine, so technically Daniil could be one of them. Still, thankfully, Andrey refused - they already have too much of an alcohole.

But in any case, let us wait for Day 5.

Two little edits of that one beloved Vampires suit, with three things in common: Wide hips, a slightly higher collar, and the same swatches.

From the 1820s until the mid-1830s, the fashionable silhouette for men's clothing was wide hips, a slender waist and full shoulders. This look was generally achieved through padding, corseting, and most of all, tailoring.

In the latter half of the 1830s, this silhouette began to change. The shoulders became sloped, and a "pigeon-breasted" look became more fashionable. Hips were still just as wide and the waist just as narrow. The 1840s look was, of course, also usually achieved through unnatural means.

Basically: V1 is this 1820s to mid-1830s look, and V2 is the mid-1830s to 1840s look. V1 has puffy sleeves while V2 has sloped shoulders. V2 also has a slightly fuller chest.

Swatch 1-48: Tie and vest in white, suit in many different colors.

Swatch 49-60: Suit in black, tie in white, vest in various colors.

Swatch 61-65: Suit in black, tie in black, vest in a few different colors. These are intended to be mourning swatches.

Andrey studies art history at the University of Britechester while James studies computer science in Foxbury Institute. They’ve known each other few years since they training sessions at the same tennis club and did play few competition with each other, these brief encounters were enough for Andrey to get more and more interested about James, in fact the first time these kind of feelings for a man an individual , in the other hand James is comfortable about his sexuality, so long story short they’re now officially seeing each other.And now they can’t get off of each other, Andrey controls every move James does cause if he “misbehaved” he’ll end things DUH. And James will do what it takes to always be with his partner.

Nevertheless, he quickly hopped into a cab and went to Jill's house, where he initially berated her for calling him at his home, no matter the reason.

Jill went to the bedroom to pick up the reason for her call, and decided in that instant what she would do.

idk if it’s brainrot or if pathologic classic hd is just That Good at being an immersive sim but on the bachelors route day 11 there was a moment when dankovsky goes to save Andrey from the soldiers where he realises Andrey isn’t there and he can just go see him at the broken heart, but I was so done with the town by day 11 that i killed those 12 men just cause danko had a gun in his hands with enough bullets. I didn’t start the game blind and I was determined to save as many people as possible but the town got in my head so much that l really felt a sense of catharsis when I got to just go apeshit for a minute.

From day 3 to day 12 even though I was prepared for the townsfolk to actively work against me I was stuck thinking JUST LET ME HELP YOU PEOPLE over and over. Doctor becomes killer healer become harmful the inherent violence of having a body etc etc. but the wave of numbness that washed over me afterwards when I was looting their bodies was intense. Pathological really got in my head, man. I love you pathologic bachelor’s route. You ruined my life but I love you.

San Sequoia 

It’s been a week since I got back to San Sequoia. I left Benjamin in Willow Creek so Drei and I could have some time to ourselves. Since I’ve been back, he’s been spoiling me to make up for missing my birthday last week.

Yesterday was amazing! We started with birthday cake and presents, then went shopping. Drei bought me flowers, we took a painting class together and ended the day with a nice dinner.

So this took longer than expected. Due to some IRL shit I've barely been home for more than a few hours at a time for the last 3 weeks and therefore did not have access to my notes and screenshots needed to tell my sims stories. Apologies for the delay. Anyway on to the Smith family!

We've got Guinevere, Elyan and their father Tom who started out collecting metals and gems to sell for money and worked their way up to running their blacksmith business! Why didn't I just make them blacksmiths from the start since that's Tom's job in the show? Because I wanted more peasant families and blacksmith is a merchant job so I decided to make them work their way up.

Anyway here's their starting house:

Again not much to it since it's a peasant family but there's plenty of room for them. Also enough room for someone to camp out in the main room if need be which one Arthur Pendragon found out not long into playing this world.

Yes as it turns out Prince Arthur's relationship with his father became so strained at one point that Uther kicked him out of the castle and he sought refuge with his good friends Gwen and Elyan (the game actually did this on its own while I was playing a different household, I had no part in making this happen but I loved it and decided to roll with it. We'll get into the repercussions of this when I cover the Pendragons)

While Arthur stayed with them he helped them forage and collect things to sell, gaining a new understanding of how the lower classes live and their struggles. He also had a bit of a flirtatious relationship with, surprisingly, Elyan but that fizzled and faded out when he met Merlin and Elyan met Percy. Arthur and Merlin fell hard and fast and before long Arthur moved in with Merlin and his family.

Elyan and Percy moved at a slower pace, taking a bit more time to get to know each other but it didn't take much longer for Percy to propose and for Elyan to move in with him. We'll cover the family they started next

Around the time Elyan moved out Lancelot proposed to Gwen

They'd been having their own romance going since about halfway through Arthur's stay with the Smiths and now that the other dramas in their households were settled it was time for them to tie the knot.

Lancelot moved in with Gwen and Tom bringing enough money to allow them to expand their home, giving Tom his own room and the new couple some privacy. It also allowed them to rank up from the peasant class to yeomen, bringing them closer to Tom's dream of starting up a blacksmith shop. The added income that Lancelot brought was also much needed as it wasn't long before Gwen was pregnant with their first child, a daughter named Anna.

Everything seemed to be going well for the family, which as we all know means tragedy is just around the corner. Tom got sick and sadly died. Shortly after Gwen found out she was pregnant again, this time with triples! 2 girls Elise and Claudia, and a boy Andrey. While Gwen and Lancelot were thrilled about their expanding family they struggled to take care of 4 young children and maintain a steady income. They needed a helping hand and one arrived just in time.

Lancelot's long-lost brother Leith tracked him down. They both had believed the other had died in the attack that destroyed their village and led to Lancelot moving to Camelot. That is until Leith heard word of a Lancelot matching his brother's description marrying into the family that housed the disinherited Prince Arthur. He traveled to Camelot to see if his suspicion was true and found his brother and his beautiful family. Lancelot and Leith were overjoyed to see each other alive and well again. Leith moved in so he could reconnect with his brother and help out his growing family.

Within a week of his stay Leith found another reason to stick around in Camelot. A knight by the name of Sebastian De Poitiers (based off of Bash from Reign btw. Leith is also based on the Reign character)

The two have an ongoing courtship and are adorable together.

With Leith's help, the family has been able to increase their income, expand their home to accommodate their growing number, build a smithy attached to the house, and fulfill Tom's dream of starting a blacksmith business with a rank up to the merchant class! We catch up with our story with the family welcoming its latest member, baby Gabriel.

I think you have a point about detailed readers, and I'm not just saying that ^^ Especially in a longer fic, having a specific job and/or background can definitely help build the story and anchor the reader to the universe. The real problem for me arises when the reader's personality is well-defined for no reason (for instance, if the prompt is specifically about shy reader or bratty reader). Like I was once reading this random set of general headcanons and the reader was bold and sassy and rebellious and I was like who tf is this person. The more I attempt to describe this issue the more I realize it might just be a me problem :o)

Stopppp no bc I also thought the Big Vlad comment was kinda 👀 Then again, he called me a gullible kid in the same breath. Which is kind of accurate so I don't really mind.

Man that concept art of the Stamatins is cool. Andrey's animal being a shark is perfect; so is Capella+butterfly and Maria+cobra.

Some random stuff I've been thinking about your BG3 blog for a few days, since I had another look at it recently. First of all the drabbles masterlist?? Holy shit you've written so much, it's amazing! I had only checked out your "my works" link before. Crybaby Tav my kindred spirit. And I'm obsessed with how organized everything is.

Your OC Sol is stunning!! I think it's so cute that you even have a section dedicated to other people's OCs. I've been trying on and off for a while to perfect my OC using the Sims 4. My favorite thing about the Sims 4 is as soon as I open the game I immediately forget what a human face is supposed to look like. Still, it's fun even though I'm not 100% satisfied yet.

Plague doctor Reader after some surgeon's grass potions are more effective at combating the plague than the leeches you've been administrating to the sick:

The fun a plague doctor reader would have in pathologic, it is literally plague utopia, isn't it? Daniil having to come to terms that someone like you holds the same authority and prestigious standing as someone like his will never not be hilarious.

Also, the mental image of plague-doctor!reader being"I'm a healer.... but" *relaods shotgun*

would the leeches work? theoretically they should since it was the earth blood which cured the illness. Which annoys Daniil even more that your barbaric and outdated methods are more effective than his pharmaceutical antibiotics but they're still less effective than Artemy's tinctures.

The executors or orderlies follow after the reader instead of the bachelor, akin to a bunch of small chicks trailing after their mother hen.

Daniil is mean and yells a lot. You're nice. They'd rather follow your orders instead.

Also the whole gothic look? The long beak, the anonymity of the mask, the black coat and gloves. It's just so intriguing, rumours about how you must look like under the mask keep spreading through out the town and people are getting more and more curious.

you're like a doctor doctor, not a philosophy doctor like Daniil or a priest surgeon like Artemy. You aren't afraid to go to extreme measures to cure this plague which is clearly the work of the devil. Carrying viles of acid around and managing to makeshift a small lab to conduct your experiments in, making various concoctions and trying them out on the helpless paitents. Some work, others melt their eyes off, it's still a work in progress.

About the Bg3 blog. lmao yeah I wrote so much, i even made some original characters like the loser high elf for the human kink thing. It was an amazing time, I hope i stay in the pathologic fandom for just as long and leave a similar legacy behind.

Oh god crybaby!tav. Those were the good times. Like sure I enjoy being a strong and capable reader, but sometimes a reader who's helpless as a kitten and constantly tears up at the slightest misfortune is just so fun to write!

Clinging to whoever comes to save you, relying on them to solve your problems. Continously making bad choices or tripping, endangering yourself without realising it because you're just so oblivious and they need to rush in and immediately whisk you away because you just can't function on your own.

Keeping you under watch constantly. You're too air headed to realise how dire the situation is, too naive and trusting.

A reader like that would make Daniil's hair sprout grey, frustrating him endlessly as he has to urgently drop his responsibilities and run across the town because you wandered too far into the steppe to pick pretty flowers and now you're lost, cold and confused and sleezy men won't stop eyeing you.

Or an Artemy that doesn't believe it when you actually sat on his lap after he threw a teasing remark that you look like a lost pet sitting alone at the bar. Who is concerned that you're so willing to trust this hulking gaint surgeon who could break you in half. Who's brain can't function because you keep fidgeting on his lap, unawarly pressing yourself against him.

Alexander Saburov might just be the most fun out of these bunch to have a crybaby reader running to him at every minor problem or inconvenience. He's cooing at you while wiping your tears, asking what's wrong? He'll make it right, you're safe with him. His ego tiples in size the more you cling to his arm when walking in dangerous areas, his back straightness more as you refuse the help from any other person but him, even telling Victor Kain himself to not get near you because he scares you while hugging Alexander instead.

You'd send Yulia into an early grave, everyday is an almost heart attack with that woman who's trying her best. No matter how many lectures on safety or being independent she gives you, her words are too big for your brain and you zone out halfway through. Thinking that the worried expression on her face is super adorable, interrupting her speech with a kiss and making a fuse blow in her brain as she immediately forgets what she was speaking about. The usually collected Yulia, flustered and stuttering as you ask for more kisses.
