Hey yall, had to spend a Lot of dosh at the start of this fortnight - 90 bucks for a replacement battery for my tablet, shouted roommate fuel which ended up being 60 bucks, then got like 4 days worth of groceries which was another hundred (fuck me they're expensive now) which didnt include any frozen meals cuz i didnt want to make roommate stress about potential mess

can i get some help so i can get more groceries for the erest of the fortnight please? especially as im having an awful flareup of pain in my foot

With Spouse and I both out of work right now and dealing with chronic health issues (CFS & MS respectively) things are tougher than they’ve ever been, and we haven’t been sure how Christmas was going to work out this year.

Hi! You may already know this from my previous post, but...

It's my B-day and I’m asking (read: begging) for your help!

Today I’m going to be a 32 years old unemployed girl with Multiple Sclerosis.

I have mobility and balance issues amongst other sequels from my lesions.

It’s like having a malfunctioning wire running through your whole body and no amount of medicine will ever fix it. So, sometimes I’m okay, sometimes I’m not and other times it’s like hell on earth. :\

Physiotherapy used to help me manage my pain and also regain a bit of my strength, balance, mobility and, in the end, independence.

Ever since I was left without it my condition only worsened. Both physical and mentally. I felt and still feel lost and left away to drift in a sea of nothingness without it. :x

So... Right now I need money for physiotherapy in the private practice, since I'm without it at the Hospital since March 2017, with no prospects of getting my time in the waiting line any time soon.

help a housebound disabled person keep living independently

hey folks, it's Lux. you may have seen my fundraiser posts before and I fear they're background noise at this point. I'm a multiply disabled queer trans person and I have (precarious) housing currently after over a year in abusive shelters and unsafe, inaccessible temporary housing. 

I am still missing many of the basics I need to live independently as a disabled person (since they've been gatekept from me for years). a major one is my own credit card. I have no credit history because of longterm financial abuse and I’ve been rejected for even the most predatory high interest cards due to low income. the only option available is a secured card so I need to raise $500 for the deposit. having my own credit card will give me so much more agency in ordering the allergy-friendly groceries, hygiene supplies and supportive devices I need to live independently. 

prior to this I’ve had to ask friends to order things for me and to rely on gift cards being donated every time since i can’t physically go to stores, which means I always wait until the last minute to ask for help and often go days to weeks with basic needs unmet. being entirely dependent on others is hard on everyone and it's re-traumatizing every time I have to ask. having access to more independence will make a tremendous difference to my ability to survive and give some relief to my tiny disabled community. 

anything raised past $500 will go towards food, rent, bills and other ongoing costs. please help give me a shot at survival in a world that wants me dead. thanks again to everyone who has boosted and donated previously <3
