talking about types of deodorant/perfume/cologne tokyo ghoul characters would wear because i thought about it for too long from the hours of 4:41AM to approximately 5:35AM on december 25th 2024. and that’s true im not making it up

i’ll start with the Quinx cus they’re easy.

ginshi. ginshi ginshi ginshi. u know that kind of foul boys’ locker room smell where it’s like sweat and whatever god awful cologne they spray in there like febreeze?? ginshi smells of that cologne.. with all the love in the world. but i feel like he wouldn’t load it on he’d put on a normal amount like a normal boy … so you’d get used to it. like you’d come to go ‘oh there’s ginshi smells here’ but you’d say it fondly

saiko probably likes those yummy cake perfumes… i just think she’d like them . i think they’re called gourmand but idrk. the type of stuff you’d get for your 9 year old niece for her birthday, it has unicorns and stuff all over the bottle , but more grown up (ie no unicorns but bigger cost) . or maybe saiko still uses the unicorns one that she has from when she was tiny . you wouldn’t know

mutsuki you smell like clean linen or sea salt or something. one of those bottles with the picture of the sea and the sand on the front that looks all serene and that but on one of the least serene fellas i have ever encountered . maybe some lemon and lime in there …

Kaneki will not deny that he loves his "Cozy Fall Wishes & Pumpkin Spice Kisses" mug. It's got cute little pumpkins and leaves on it, and it's a nice shape. He's been through a lot, so I'm not going to bully him for this.

Itori appreciates a tastefully decorated fall-themed home. She loves the colours, but draws the line at Happy Fall Y'all signage.

Hide is someone that finds joy in everything: season changes included. He loves seeing the autumn shit in shops. It reminds him that Halloween is on the way! He laughs at Kanekis mug.

Nishiki fucking hates Instagram, YouTube, Tiktok, and whatever platform has made Fall a consumable item. He's going to punch the next person who asks for an iced pumpkin spice caramel macchicinolattefrappe. They made him hate his favourite season.

"Huh. There's a lot of orange everywhere", ponders Yomo, not knowing that he's supposed to be wearing layered knits or buffalo check shirts, heavy denim jeans, and a beanie in August.

Don't laugh, but Touka likes all the "stuff". She also watches some of the Decorate With Me videos. She likes watching how other people make their homes all cosy and interesting, although it can be bittersweet: she would've loved to have a home like that growing up.

Uta owns a Jesus Christ & Pumpkin Spice shirt. He wears it.

Of course Akira is a bit cynical. She's also impressed that they've made another season marketable. She won't admit to having a Pinterest board for cozy-comfort fall outfits.

You bet your ass the Chateau is decked out in orange and brown throws, pumpkin shaped soap dispensers, and those little bead garland things people drape around their fireplaces. Saiko and Mutsuki find loads of nice scented candles and find out how sensitive their olfactory sense has become. Getting rid of the candles is the one thing Urie and Shirazu agree on after returning home and almost passing out at the stench. Haise passes them on to Akira.
