I think the reason why I like merope so much is because she a female character that I rarely come across, I guess she counts as a villain but so often female villains are made, by the fandom or the writers, to be girlbosses who have a rightious strike to them (motivated by revenge, they were wronged in the past) and in the rare case they are actually sadistic they have cool displays of power, their evilness is wicked, they are power hungry.

Merope on the other hand has none of that, she is basicaly an slaved girl, her motivation is living a normal life she never had and scape the (phisycal, mental and implied sexual) violence she is has been submited to, her desires are typicaly femenine and domestic, she wants a husband and baby but because you cant twist her actions into something badass it taps right into horror territory, "I support women's wrong" sentiment only goes so far.

Its a strange feeling and I like that!

my mom walked upstairs in her seal skin boots. Fjonka (my rabbit) came running to greet them (her seal skin boots). she sniffed them for a second. nuzzled them, before realizing they weren't breathing. horror dawned on her. she begun to understand she was dealing with something she couldn't comprehend. she backed off, without letting them out of her sight. she STOMPED to let them (the seal skin boots) know that she did NOT like this situation. my mom stomped back. Fjonka stomped harder, exhibiting a bravery and assertedness I had no idea she possessed. mom turned and went back down the stairs. Good job, Fjonk. You sure showed those undead vampire rabbits who's boss.

my fiance and i both have gay voice n we were out at a cafe today when a lady walked by w her young daughter who stopped dead in her tracks when she heard us talking, looked up to us w visible confusion/curiosity and after a moment of contemplation went 'mama thats boys!' very proud of her discovery nd i dont think that ive ever been clocked in a funnier way my whole life

Childe who nuzzles against you, practically molding his body to fit with yours and rubbing his head against your shoulder before smushing his and your cheeks together, a wide grin on his face.

Childe with some subtle, monstrous traits that make you love him all the more.
