Regressor! Shawn Headcanons

(Possible spoilers for TomJake episode 4?)

•The whole reason he even knows what age regression is, is due to Jake mentioning it to him and also regressing with him after their relationship started to get better.

•Shawn was a bit confused by it, but did his best to be understanding of it. Though, when he actually saw Jake do it, that helped him realize it was just a way for his brother to feel safe and cope with everything he’s gone through.

•After seeing him do this a few times, it made Shawn want to try it out. He didn’t have a great childhood either and wanted to try a new way to cope with it.

•The first time Shawn ever regressed was with Jake. He helped him feel safe enough to regress and took care of him once he finally did.

•During that time, Shawn was just extremely anxious and clingy. He didn’t want to be left alone and constantly wanted Jake. He would even start to cry if Jake wasn’t in arms reach.

•Shawn’s normal age range he regresses to is around 4-6 years old. However, he definitely goes way younger at times.

•Jake is the main person who takes care of him, though Tom has also cared for him. Tom usually cares for Shawn whenever both he and Jake are regressed together.

•On the occasions he regresses along with Jake, it’s actually a very healing thing for their relationship.

•In general, when either one of them regresses around the other, it helps them cope with past issues. Though, something about regressing together is extremely comforting to the two of them.

•Shawn is typically very anxious. He’s terrified of getting into any trouble or annoying whoever he’s with.

•He’s very sensitive as well, which is one of the main reasons he’s so scared of annoying people since he cries a lot.

•He would always get in trouble for getting upset over “small things” as an actual kid, so obviously he’d think the same thing would happen when he’s regressed back to that age.

•The main thing that Shawn needs is comfort. He really likes receiving hugs and getting his hair played with. Being reassured that he’s okay and safe after he did something “bad” also helps him.

•He carries his stuffed animal everywhere with him. He didn’t have one from when he was younger, but Jake gifted him a red fox plushie when he regressed for the first time. He never lets that thing out of his sight now.

•He also carries around a blanket with him. Not a specific blanket, but just any blanket he can find he’ll carry around.

•Shawn bites and chews on his nails, as well as sucks his thumb a lot.

•He doesn’t talk that much. When he does, it’s always short sentences and in a quiet voice. He’s rarely ever loud.

•Tantrums don’t happen much for him, they mostly happen when he’s tired. But when they do, Shawn always gets extremely upset and embarrassed over it.

•He hates regressing alone. If he’s alone when he regresses, he feels scared the whole time and just wants someone there with him.

•He enjoys playing, but has a hard time actually doing so. He often feels awkward whenever he wants or tries to play. Though once he gets comfortable, he has a lot of fun playing.

•Like playing, Shawn also really enjoys ‘little’ items, but feels awkward and ashamed for using them.

•Shawn’s usually really sleepy while tiny. He spends a lot of his regression time sleeping or laying in bed, so he’s a really big fan of nap time and bedtime.

•When he’s overly tired, he can get pretty cranky. He’ll often pout and whine a lot when he’s like this, but he’s also prone to tantrums if something upsets him.

•It’s kind of hard to get him to laugh, but getting him to smile is really easy. Just some simple praising will immediately make him start smiling.

•He’s extremely needy, even though he tries not to be. Shawn needs a lot of attention, care, and love since he didn’t get much of it growing up.

•Shawn’s actually really clumsy. He’ll trip over his feet when he walks, knock things over, spill stuff, etc.

•Since he’s clumsy, he gets hurt quite a bit, which results in him sobbing while he gets a bandaid put over his cut or bruise. Of course, he gets a lot of affection and comfort right after.

•Shawn loves cats, so when he’s over at Tom and Jake’s house, he’s often around Gabs.

I was thinking Ashley would lose Lilly, her last ally, and be the outlier of her team trying to survive. Even if she wouldn't last long merge-wise. But when the Tribal Council started I realized, "Nah, Ashley's screwed."

I do feel like she was robbed though and they could do more with her. If she's in Season 3. The red marker is kind of a bullshit move to boot someone, ngl. But I get it, there's only 13 episodes so they had to do a double elimination. The TD Reboot had to do that as well. But really? That's how Ashley gets booted?

I liked her. She was the one reasonable fellow of that alliance.

Lilly... Well, I predicted her pre-merge boot from the very beginning, and I was completely right. And I think she works as plainly that. A pre-merge boot, AKA, an early elimination, with a one note personality that wasn't bitchy. She was also kinda the mom of that group.

I feel like they have to scramble up the teams now, right? Cause Purple has 3 and Teal has 6. It's not really fair that one team has DOUBLE the amount of teammates.

Or maybe because of that they throw someone from Teal to put them on Purple. My bet would be Gabby.

total drama

season 1: it may be just because i haven't watched this season in a while, and because it's definitely not my favorite if i had to pick, but i think what stuck with me the most were the duncney first kiss scene (which was sooo adorable i miss them sm <//3), gwen accepting to go on a date with trent (i miss them.. sob....), harold's little >:3 after courtney got eliminated, and gwen and geoff's entire arc in geoff's elimination episode. if i had to choose between all of those, i'd pick the latter. it was such a fun dynamic that unfortunately was soon forgotten.

season 2: a lot of justin scenes are iconic but in the end i have to go with a harold scene, which would be the one in which he punches duncan in the face. yeah that's my favorite part always. what a great guy i love him sm. i also really like the entire dynamic of duncan-harold-heather-leshawna as a group they were AMAZING and even without leshawna in that one episode they SLAYED i love that silly trio

season 3: so since you didn't ask for a specific scene but just for a part, i'll just have to say the entire aleheather arc was amazing. they are such a well-constructed ship and i adore them. i cannot picture them with anyone else but themselves. my favorite scene to come out of the entire season also comes from them: when they're dancing on the train, singing "you are the worst, why must you torment me?" oh god they have it so bad for each other

season 4: roti is so forgettable which is sad because it has so many great characters.. i'll have to go with something related to jo since she's my fav and made the season better, i really liked her bickering with brick and anne maria. she's truly a bisexual enemies-to-lovers icon. i love the scene in which she and brick meet up and start ranting about who ran the most

season 5: that season didn't exist wdym?? but in all honesty aleheather dating was awesome and i miss them sm.. when chris said 'are you two DATING??' something in me shifted he was so funny for that idek why

season 6: ugh i hate you so tdpi.. shawn and jasmine dodging the lasers was pretty dope tho

season 7: hard to say because ridonculous race has a lot of GREAT moments but i just loved the dynamic of the cadets in general. i love how macarthur softened up after breaking sanders' arm and how much she cared for her. i also think the step-brothers were awesome and one of my favorite total drama scenes ever is when they realize how much they have in common. i miss those two goobers! the goths were also iconic and i love every moment they are on the screen, but when they came back to the show dressed in even more hardcore goth i LOST IT /pos

season 8: the rajbow kiss. come on. did you think i'd say anything else? the rajbow kiss was ICONIC

season 9: the fact that it ended... that was the best part. but in all seriousness, i really liked ripaxel. i think this is a hot take at this point. even though they were very rushed, they were such a healthy, happy couple. i was scared for them when axel said that awkward goodbye to ripper but i was so relieved for them in the finale. ripaxel definitely made the season better for me

season 10: i love the scene where damien- oh what's that? season 10 is entirely in my head? oh i would've spoiled TD:TBBG? my bad chief

disventure camp

season 1: i will never forget when i actually teared up when miriam and jake opened up to each other... besides that when alec and fiore started plotting together i became a different, better person. i miss them :( please come back to me lovelies :( i also really loved the tomjake kiss but. yeah we all know what i feel about them now. i miss them so fucking much it's not even funny

season 2: kai standing up to yul was so funny to me because why did his hair go like that /pos i remember i had a doodle in one of my notebooks that was kai going haywire the way he did in that scene and i scribbled the following words by him, with an arrow pointing towards him: 'same guy who goes namaste n shit'. also jaiden... save me jaiden... they were definitely my favorite part of the season :3

season 3: i'll definitely update this after the entire season comes out (october btw. yes i calculated. i put it in my agenda and everything /srs) but the villains alliance is by far the most promising and amazing part of the season. i can't wait to see where it goes next!
