#Shade's shadow minion

So I watched the new Death Battle earlier today, and speaking as someone only BARELY familiar with/interested/invested in either Sonic OR Mario, I actually found myself vibing more with Team Eggman over Team Bowser and was even rooting more for them by the end for some reasons I find rather interesting.

Mostly because I feel like Team Eggman had a more interesting and varied team composition and dynamic throughout the fight. Namely in that they get more shared and balanced focus and attention.

You see, for basically the entire fight, Bowser is very much the center of attention for his team. He’s the lynchpin, the keystone. He’s both the leader AND by far the heaviest hitter of his team, with everyone else mostly just working to support him. And because of that he gets most of the cool moments of his side.

Meanwhile, Team Eggman is nowhere near as focused on one guy. Eggman is the leader, yet Metal Sonic is the heaviest hitter, and even he isn’t so much so compared to Sage, Nemesis and Eggman himself. And because of that, I feel like they all get a broader spread of attention and cool moments in the fight.

Like some might say that Bowser always fighting front and center of his army might make him the ‘better’ or ‘more-noble’ leader/dad compared to Eggman spending more of the fighting hanging back and having his decoys, minions and kids do much of the heavy lifting, but personally I feel like that makes Team Eggman more interesting?

Like I think it’s pretty interesting that while Eggman is the leader, he isn’t the heaviest hitter of his team. He may not even be the real keystone of his team (more on that later…). And again, this leads to broader spread of attention and cool moments. Like how the fight starts with Eggman fighting Bowser through a decoy, and through the rest of the fight, Bowser is having to fight Infinite, Metal Sonic and even Sage just as much if not moreso than Eggman directly.

It feels like Team Bowser very much a case of ‘the Main Character does everything’, while Team Eggman is very much a subversion of that trope. Some might say Eggman is making his kids do most of the work, well I say he’s giving them time to shine. Like how the climax of the fight very much feels more like a 3v1 battle of Eggman, Metal Sonic and Shade versus Bowser, rather than a 1v1 or 3v3.

Again, I feel like that gives Team Eggman the more interesting dynamic throughout the fight. I mean remember what I said about Eggman not necessarily being the real keystone of his team? Well I imagine (coming from someone with admittedly not much familiarity with the source material) that Team Eggman COULD very much continue the fight without him if necessary, whereas the same very much could NOT be said for Team Bowser.

Like imagine an alternate narrative of the fight where Bowser Jr gets killed in the crossfire, which sends Bowser flying into the expected rage and killing Eggman to avenge his son…

…only for Sage, Metal and Infinite to take down Bowser to avenge their father. Which technically would still be a posthumous win for Eggman.

Obviously I’m not saying that’s how the fight should have gone, I’m not nearly that petty/headcanon fixated. I just think it’s a fun idea to imagine.

Particularly as I feel like ‘cooperative revenge’ is a quite underused trope XD

Also, given the episodes underlying theme of parents and children, I think there is something interesting to be said of how Bowser's kids are very much stuck within the shadow of their father, while Eggman's children can, and in some respects arguably have, surpassed their father.

He hadn’t meant to leave your side for long – he wanted to get you both some drinks, and in the process a gaggle of his fans came to laud him with their usual praise and words of devotion. Asmodeus gave his charming smile, blew them a few kisses – “I’m busy tonight, darlings, but we’ll chat another time!” – and danced through the crowd on his way back to you. 

And that’s when he sees through the pulsing lights a particular incubi getting too comfortable with you, clear from the discomfort on your face and the way his hand hovers too closely to your waist, his teeth looking a bit too sharp and gaze too filled with bloodlust. 

“I’m back~!” Asmodeus sings out, and much to his delight the incubi jolts and tries to disappear into the shadows. “Now, who was that?”  

“Thanks, Asmo. I need this!” You move closer to him with a look of relief, taking one of the drinks from his hand. He watches you take a swig, seemingly trying to avoid the question.

“Now, now, hun.” He murmurs, his lips brushing your ear so that you could hear him over the pounding bass, his arm reaching behind you. “I saw a little thing I didn’t like you tried to hide. Was that guy bothering you?” 

Before you can answer, Asmodeus brings his arm back to his side – the offending demon in his grasp. His claws were hooked in the chains wrapped around the other’s torso, a tut-tut leaving the Avatar’s lips. 

“Running away so soon, Gilarion? How lovely of you to join us!” He flutters his lashes at the other, though there was clearly a dangerous glint in his gaze.

“L-Lord Asmodeus, I didn’t realize you were here!” Gilarion nervously laughs.

“Oh, is that so?” Asmodeus pouts, swirling the drink in his hand as he unhooks his claws from the other. “Is that why you were bothering our lovely human here?”

“B-bothering?” Gilarion shoots you a panicked look. “No, no, I was just admiring the details in her dress and was curious! Your design, I’m told?” 

It’s true, Asmodeus had insisted on dolling you up in his latest fashion collection before taking you out, having had you in mind for every piece. He smiles, his fangs catching the light. 

“That’s right. And doesn’t she look absolutely ravishing? I doubt anyone else could compare – except me, of course.” A giggle, and then he felt your hand on his arm. You were well aware of what that sinister smile wrought. 

“Asmo.” You quietly scold. “It’s okay, just leave him.” 

“Oh, don’t worry, hun. I’m not going to do anything to him!” There’s a depraved glee in his voice as he sees momentarily relief in Gilarion’s features. “He’s one of my important little minions, after all.” 

He steps toward the lesser demon then. “But you must have been really curious about my darling’s look, with how close you were getting! Or, was it something else?” Another flutter of his lashes. “You know, all you had to say was that you wanted more attention from me, silly. I would have gladly given it to you!” 

Asmodeus takes a single sharp claw, tracing it down the middle of Gilarion’s exposed chest. “I would love to see your luscious red ribs … I mean lips – lips! – in my latest shade. Would you like that? We could shoot some lovely photos, you know.” 

“I-I’m sorry, Lord Asmodeus! I didn’t mean anything by it, I – I’ll take my leave now!” Gilarion knows his superior well enough to distinguish a threat, so he gives a rather clumsy bow as he stumbles backwards, then darts into the crowd. 

“Did you really have to scare him like that?” You sigh, though he notices that slight smile.

“Of course I did.” Asmodeus smirks with satisfaction, wrapping an arm around your waist and pulling you close, his lips ghosting yours. “And I know you love it.”

Adventure: Shadow of the Harvest Moon

Most imagine the shadowfell as a dreadful and dreary place, but there are islands of solace in the underworld, such as the realm of Dwindlehearth which manifests as a pastoral village rendered in an eternal autumn sunset. It is a place where those who were lonely in life find kinship in the folkish festivals put on by the attendant spirits, where those too stubborn to accept the end can work themselves to satisfied exhaustion in the fields before retiring in comfort, and where those never had enough can stay in on a rainy day and enjoy a filling meal by a warm fire. It is a good death, a good afterlife, the sort we would wish for those we loved dearest to allow their memory to fade most gracefully.

But Something is wrong in Dwindlehearth

Rot spreads through the fields and the shades can find no solace, foul things stalk at the edge of dark woods, clouds cover the face of the ember-warm sun and part to reveal a cold and leering moon, too low and with it's own strange, superntatural gravity.

If the dead are to know peace once again, something must be done.

After their latest bout of occupational grave desecration the party are called upon by the deathgod Nerull to help sort things out, whatever's causing the problem is hidden from his sight and he'll forgive them their literal and figurative trespasses if they can root out whatever corruption is twisting his pastoral realm into a nightmare.

Most shades in Dwindlehearth have varying levels of awareness, identities growing hazier the closer they get to moving on. The rot seems to remind them of all their regrets and failings, preserving their worst aspects while the rest of them atrophies. This is to say nothing of when the night descends unexpectedly, and those shades worst affected transform into monsters, or nightmarish hauntings.

Investigating the source of the corruption will prove difficult, but perhaps the party can get the aid of one of the attendant psychopomps ( most of whom are busy fighting the rot and fending off incursions from unseen enemies at the village's border) or by taking inconstant direction to seek out Dwindlehearth's mayor ( a position the psychopomps have no memory of appointing) who turns out to be a still living necromancer resided on an estate that she's transported to the middle of the death god's domain (especially if the party encountered hear early in the campaign). She's willing to help, but only if the party put in a good word for her with Nerull, as she's grown to quite enjoy the surroundigns.

Behind all the problems in Dwindlehearth is Zuggtmoy, demon queen of despair and decay, who saw the pastoral stillness of the village as the perfect place to spread her stagnation. Her influence drives souls to bitter, resentful, remembrance, priming them for transformation into foul minions.

Speaking of Minions, Zuggtmoy's influence was carried to the village by the departed soul of one of her priests, a poet mired in morbid melancholy by the name of Blaine Blackstem, who got one of the psychopomps to carry him over Nerrull's wards. Blaine was never a good poet, but his mistress's gifts and the nightmare landscape have transformed him into a looming scarecrow figure, striding through the fields sowing rot and then taking grisly inspiration as how the souls twist.

A number of Zuggtmoy's other fiendish minions probe the border of Dwindlehearth just waiting for a large enough breach to pour in, Blaine aims to accommodate them by creating an army of pumpkin monsters and setting them lose to overwhelm the psychopomps leaving the village undefended.

pen builed a very succefull business n the regency era as a young woman. Totally queen!!! an ding that she put a mirror to the society who always treat her like shit. The ton always discrimnate her and make fun of her, even the bridgertons ( remember anthony making fan of how colin danced with her) and she only gossip about what she heard!!!! people talked about that and she put it in public and make money of it.

Congratulation, she is thriving on the amplification of the dirty laundry of society and actively works for the perpetuation of a system that makes many feel unworthy, including her. One loves a paparazzi.

If there was a greater purpose to it than putting herself in the place of the one to pass judgement for her own satisfaction and throw shades because she can't do it openly without the risk of being called mean and not a good girl, I would definitely agree. But even the part when she questions the chosing of the diamond each season seems only fuelled by her wish to please Eloise who told her about it, not a true conviction. She doesn't question society. She wants to be in, to be the chosen one and her woes are that she is not and she finds it very unfair.

So queen? Oh, she wishes, to the point of taunting the actual one!

Anthony did not mock her at all when he said "Colin danced with Penelope Featherington". He was dismissing the idea of Simon dancing with Daphne as serious and in the way used the example of Colin and Penelope. That's not mocking, even if Penelope would have been hurt by this had she heard it (as a remembrance that Colin doesn't see her like that, and no one thinks of them together as a couple).

Cressida mocked her, humiliated her when Penelope replied to her taunts, but even then Penelope has never been her regular focus. She's mean at everyone she doesn't want to get close to. Other than that, there are only Colin's few friends/minions that appear at the end of S2 and through s3.

What she truly is is mostly dismissed and underestimated, and it is sad she is even dismissed by her own mother. But it is precisely what makes her able to eavesdrop so many things, so of course it doesn't encourage her to stand out and be social. In that way, she kind of discriminates herself, choosing to stay in the shadows.

She is only looking for Eloise and Colin (and Marina when she was hoping to discover what was going on with her and became her friend). At no point until s3 was she even trying to meet gentlemen, and S3 even suggested that from the moment she decided to attract attention, she did. Her awkwardness is only a matter of not training to meet new people. Social skills have to be worked at, they are not innate.

Chapter One: Is it kidnapping if I thought we were dating?

The sky has visibly darkened during lunchtime. It wasn't the normal rainy sky though. People were scrambling to get inside or find cover as it was most likely an akuma attack. It was strange, however, that the signal never went off nor were there any explosions nearby. There wasn't even a ridiculously dressed villain with their monologue about getting revenge and obtaining the miraculous.

It was quiet. Suspiciously too quiet.

A bolt of lightning flashed on the darkened sky, the dark purple color leaving a web like structure in its path. Okay, that definitely was not normal.

Chloe was sure it was another Akuma and judging from the last one Ladybug and Chat Noir had to face, they were getting ridiculously more strong as time passes. Which doesn't worry her. After all, Ladybug never trusted her completely to wield another miraculous again so why give a damn about her anymore.

The world shook and she unconsciously switched on her TV to the news.

Nadja was reporting on the strange phenomenon currently happening while the purple lightning continued to flash and leave even more intricate patterns.

Chloe pursed her lips in thought. Ladybug had already enlisted a lot of new (temporary) heros since they faced off against Shadow Moth. She won't be outnumbered or lacking in minions if ever.

She sighed, frustration starting to bubble inside her, "Everything would be easier if she would just let me be Queen Bee!"

"You've got a point," a voice said from behind, "but Queen Bee is rather distracting during battles, 'no?"

Before she could scream at the sudden intrusion of a very familiar looking person, she was swept off her bed and was falling down from her balcony, a set of familiar and ridiculously strong arms wrapped around her securely.

Shit.

She was tapping her foot impatiently, the sound echoing against the room they were in. Claw was leaning by the wall, his knowing glance darting from her to the other occupant of the room who was very much unconscious.

"You scared the shit out of her. You have such a lame type in women," he casually tilted his head, narrowly avoiding a metal ball to his face. Rolling his eyes, he stretched out his muscles earning a disgusted sound from his partner and a laugh from him.

"Careful, your softness for her is showing," she scoffed, her arms crossed as she looked at the blonde. "I am not soft, you fucking piece of vomit."

"I told you, my hair is not that damn vomiting emoji! The shade is different!"

"Whatever," she walked to the unconscious blonde and with a soft tug, managed to lift her head up to a more comfortable position. She looked peaceful, her mouth slightly parted as she let out soft snores.

Even in a different universe, the sight of her still made her go speechless.

Which got her confused. This universe's Chloé looks very similar to her Chloé, just with more yellow than soft pink and white, so why,

"Why is she taking so damn long?" She hissed as Claw shrugged, who was looking down at his manicure and let out a 'tsk'. He needed to get an appointment, soon.

"Maybe because you're not together in this universe," he supplied after a moment, "maybe you're in love with me instead."

"That's one of the worst things you've ever said to me and I want to strangle you right now."

Claw shivered, "Agreed. Agree to never speak about that again."

A figure sighed as she shut her bug phone. Gazing at a familiar tower, she idly wonders if she should wait for them to arrive or continue searching for the person she needs. Deciding to do the latter, she jumps off the roof into the night sky.

Ladybug almost crashed into the hotel room, Chat Noir not far behind. After getting a call from a very distraught mayor and with the sky turning an unusual purple, she had a sinking feeling it was another powered up Akuma. This Akuma hasn't showed their face yet, but Chloé's disappearance was alarming.

"She's not here," she whispered after quickly darting inside the suite. Chat Noir voiced his affirmative and gave her a worried look, "The Akuma must have already taken her but..." Chat frowned, "Unless it had a personal vendetta against Chloé, it's unusual of them to stay hidden."

Ladybug sighed. This was going to be a long day.

HII!! Thanks for answering and trying to bring the fandom back! Can't wait to see what everyone will write (or draw) for KawaSara week, i'm sure it'll be great content^^. I can see why would they lose faith but that could never be me, conflict doesn't scare me lol!! Omg that "healthy" vs "toxic" thing is so annoying like idc lmfao, the worst part is i ship SasuSaku and KawaSara and both get hate for that and mind you most of the time it's people that ships toxic stuff too but draws the line at other ships🤦🏻‍♀️. All of this over a mid ship that isn't even canon. That "you don't care about her feelings" coming from them is ironic, they literally ignore her saying that she does NOT like Boruto lmfao. They literally discredit and undermine SasuSakus moments, a CANON couple, of course they wouldn't lose the chance to do that with a fanon ship (for now), SS&KS have one thing in common and it's the haters, they are literally the same people. Really? Im not surprised lol these ppl are very devoted stalkers, no matter how many of them I block, theres always someone who slips through the cracks and watches from the shadows until they finally reveal themselves, and also go reporting to their leader what I be sayin or doin for them to send their minions after me or play victim lol I literally put it to the test because I was suspicious that that was the case, so I showed several screenshots of something they said I was lying about proving it wasn't a lie, but I purposefully didnt censor the names to see if they would go running to snitch to them and thats exactly what they did, not even a few minutes passed between them responding to me and the person in the screenshot talking about me.

The kicker? I have that acc BLOCKED and have had it blocked for years, so for them to of seen it, somebody HAD to report to her what I said, so my suspicion was proven true, there ARE minions stalking me from the shadows and reporting to whatever leader with a big following they follow lol not only that, but they TOLD her that I be stalking HER and even make posts about her ON MY TUMBLR so Im not only stalked on twitter, but on tumblr as well, which btw is a flat out lie because I dont care enough about anybody THAT MUCH to stalk them

I know it kills them inside that no matter how much their fed they still dont have confirmation from either side yet while BoruSumi does, it eats them alive that Sarada, the main female, the one they claim is closest to him and so obviously loves him so much, has yet to be confirmed to be inlove with him and everytime shes asked she denies it and is uncomfortable, they were overjoyed when Mitsuki asked her and she avoided his question so they could be like 'See? Mitsuki knows she likes him, he said she doesnt know how she truly feels yet, its confirmed' yet that didnt go how they wanted because unlike they hoped, ppl actually paid attention to what was said and it wasnt anything like they tried to make it out to be.

Mitsuki was talking about himself and being unsure of HIS true feelings, his question to Sarada was him trying to figure his own feelings out through Sarada, but when she avoided the question, Mitsuki backed off seeing she was uncomfortable and said that it didnt matter, they tried to deny this for the longest and insisted it was about Sarada until chapter 7 of TBV released and proved our statement EXACTLY right, that it WAS Mitsuki being confused about his feelings for Boruto and trying to make sense of them so their one little sliver of confirmation they thought they had went out the window and now their back in limbo with the rest of us waiting for confirmation.

So no matter how confident they try to act, their scared to death that their still not confirmed without a doubt to be semi canon yet, because even tho it doesnt automatically mean their endgame, it DOES give them a higher possibility to be if they are, which is why they fear Sumire being so involved because you could ignore Hinata majority of the time because she wasnt around Naruto or involved with his plot that much, but you cant ignore Sumire because she IS, and THATS what scares them.

Even so they seem to still harbor a greater hatred for KawaSara than they do BoruSumi despite them not even being semi canon, which is crazy to me because I dont even think they realize how insecure they look for doing so lol if your more threatened by a not even semi canon ship, maybe your ship aint doin as well as you act like it is cuz trust and believe if your ship had nothin to worry about then you wouldnt be bothered, so if your bothered that means you see something to be threatened by.

This is just surface level SS tho, Sakura wasnt just defending an innocent man wrongly accused, Sakura was defending an ACTUAL traitor, Sasuke made the conscious decision to abandon Konoha and betray everyone and willingly attempt to kill his comrade, all in his pursuit of power to avenge his family that was wrongfully murdered by his brother, he chose revenge >> his friends and Konoha, Sakura and Naruto stood by him despite that because they knew the real him and wanted to save him from that dark lonely path he was walking because they genuinely wanted him to be happy and knew he wouldnt be if he walked this path.

Compare that to BoruSara, why is Boruto a traitor? he isnt, everyone just thinks he is because of mass brainwashing, its Kawaki who is actually the traitor that everyone hates, but due to omnipotence thats all directed at Boruto now, why did Boruto leave? because if he didnt he would've been killed by everyone who thinks hes a traitor now, what is Borutos end goal? to undo omnipotence and knock some sense into Kawaki [and save the world obviously] and what is Sarada defending Boruto from? absolutely nothing, because hes innocent, so all her mouthing off has zero weight because shes defending an innocent person, so of COURSE she'd stand by him.

With Sasuke, Naruto and Sakura were defending a traitor, and then an international terrorist, they were INSANE to defend him but they did anyway because they loved him, they understood there had to be a reason, it was hard, and there was doubt, but overall they loved Sasuke and refused to give up on him and kept hope that one day they could all laugh together again as team 7.

What has Sarada done to really 'ride or die' for Boruto? buy a similar jacket to his? yell at ppl you know cant help but not believe you because their literally under the influence of a massive shinjutsu? what a joke.

Tell me where Sarada grew up in an abusive household where her father practically disowned her because she was weak? where was Sarada inspired by Boruto being a 'proud failure' and wanting to be like him? where was Boruto Sarada's inspiration for her nindo? where was Sarada breaking Boruto out of his insecurity for a big upcoming fight he thought he couldnt win which gave him the courage and motivation to give it his all? when has Boruto ever literally fought to avenge Sarada because he was so angry at how she was treated? when has Sarada fought a far stronger enemy despite his protest? [a single fireball distraction and just standing there after the fact is not fighting]

They have none of that stuff that actually mattered and added substance to their relationship, you know what they did have? Sarada just watching Boruto from afar as if that is an actual deep meaningful part of their relationship…the funny thing is even that isnt similar, the contexts are literally complete opposites

Hinata watched Naruto out of admiration and infatuation, Sarada watched Boruto out of jealousy, and then later she was just watching him train with her dad hoping that he'd take Boruto on as his student since she knew it'd make him happy

Sarada was originally annoyed with Boruto at first [Just like Sakura and Sasuke] but after becoming teammates became alot closer like family, Sarada would watch Boruto pull pranks for his fathers attention in envy but despite being annoyed she also sympathized with him because she too had an absent father she craved attention from, Sasuke used to watch Naruto go around pulling pranks for attention too and despite thinking he was a moron he sympathized with him as well because they were both orphans and he understood his loneliness, Boruto and Sarada pretty much bicker with eachother the exact same way OG team 7 did, the only difference being the lack of drama now because theres no conflict with one of the teammates goin rogue and betraying them [Kawaki fills that role] but overall the sentiments is the same when it comes to those ships.

Sakura despite being annoyed with Naruto often she still worried for him alot and wanted to help him anyway she could and was frustrated with herself when she couldnt help him more, same way Sarada is frustrated with herself for not being able to help Boruto more, Sasuke resented Naruto for thinking he understood him when he had nothing from the start and has no idea what its like to have a family and then lose it, same way Sarada resented Boruto for his ignorance of being so blessed always complaining about his dad overworking when Sarada would kill to have what he did [Boruto had the perfect family then lost it when Naruto became Hokage and neglected them but still tried to be there for them, Sarada always had a dysfunctional family and absent dad that she only just got to finally know at 11, he did not understand her at all]

Regardless, they still sympathized because even though the situations were very different, they both understood the pain of missing their fathers, which is why she was still able to empathize with him despite being far worse off.

Hell the only OG ship with a heavy emphasis on a promise like BoruSara is NaruSaku, same for it being the only OG ship with an emotional surprise hug after an invasion where the FMC hugs the MC relieved to see he was ok while the other one sided love interest watches [whether ones smiling and the other not is irrelevant, its the overall context and execution of the scene that matters]

The delusional thing is always funny to me because they'll go and make up a whole fanfic headcanon scenario for why their right, and then when you slap them with reality and canon facts that easily contradict their twisted fantasy version of events, they get mad and say your delusional or in denial and just jealous when...your literally just pointing out the canon facts that are in literal black and white for all to see, but to them the truth is delusion, and the lies they tell themselves are reality.

She literally revolves around him and ignores her own parents (that she separated) like hellooo?? Her idol, ChoCho her best friend?? Like come on guys. Same, there is so much untapped potential between her and Kawaki its not even funny, they had some of the biggest wasted opportunities ever

Like Boruto's death was handled WAY too quickly, Sarada wasnt even given a chance to process it, she was told right in the heat of the moment of them fighting, then everything happened back to back afterwards so she didn't even get a chance to process THAT before she had to process 50 other things that happened all at one, that was such a missed opportunity for some real conflict that they only gave to Sumire who didn't even do anything with it and just looked scared of him every interaction afterwards, thats info that would've been far better utilized on Sarada

Just imagine after checking on Boruto, Sarada went to Kawaki's room and overheard them talking about what happened, she's shocked, she's confused, shes wondering why Boruto lied to her about what happened, why Naruto is ok with this, a lot of conflicting emotions running through her mind that she needs to process so she goes meet Mitsuki at the balcony where they are watching Boruto and her dad, Sarada considers telling Mitsuki what she heard but when Mitsuki tells her how he doesn't know what he might do to the person that tried to kill Boruto, Sarada withholds what she heard cuz she doesn't want to go after him, so Sarada internalizes and has to deal with these feelings on her own, on one hand she understands that this was what Boruto wanted to protect everyone, but on the other she cant bring herself to just be ok with Kawaki trying to kill him, however this situation brings up a new internal conflict she hadn't thought about before and thats what SHE would do if she were faced with a possessed Boruto in that kind of situation? would she be able to kill him if needed? does she have the resolve to do what needs to be done even if she doesn't want to? could she make that difficult decision like Kawaki did? even if thats what Boruto wanted? if he had asked her to, would she be able to honor his wishes? or would she be unable to and let Momo rampage

I could go on but I dont want this to be too long but you get the point, imagine we got THAT instead of all that rushed bs, imagine we got some actual reflection, some inner conflict, some internal struggles trying to figure out her resolve and if she'll be able to do what needs to be done as Hokage.

Imagine her and Kawaki had that talk when they were alone and she confronted him about it, Kawaki affirming his resolve to her that he will do anything to protect Naruto, even killing his own brother, and then the question is passed on to Sarada for what her resolve is, but she has no answer at the moment, all she knows is that she too wants to protect Naruto but she wants to protect Boruto too and doesn't want him to die, but Kawaki tells her there may be a time when she has no choice in the matter and will have to make up her mind soon, then in 78 shes forced to make that decision on just how far shes willing to go for her beliefs, can she kill Boruto if he's a threat? can she kill Kawaki if he's threatening Boruto? she gets there and its time to make a decision, Kawaki once again affirms his resolve by even being willing to kill her if she got in his way of doing what he genuinely believed is right, but Sarada is still unsure of herself, unable to let Boruto die even if he's a threat to everyone, but unwilling to kill Kawaki either even when he's threatening her life, because, despite his rude attitude a lot of the time, she still came to view Kawaki as a friend and teammate and THATS why she hesitates.

Now imagine, shocker, that she actually feels REMORSE for costing Boruto his eye, I know crazy right? you would think that'd have happened IN CANON but oddly it did not, she hasn't been shown feeling even the slightest bit of guilt for costing him his eye that day which is crazy to me, but unsurprising because she didn't even feel the slightest big of remorse for her dad being treefied because SHE sent him off to protect Boruto.

RIP the empathetic caring Sarada who actually gave a danm in 28, 36, and 39 you will be missed.

Having Sarada go there acting all sure of herself but not backing it up did such irreparable damage to her character, whereas in the scenario I just laid out or anything similar to that actually adds depth and valid reasoning for why she'd freeze up there, vs talking a big game like she was about that life only to freeze as soon as shit got real, it was such a stupid writing decision to do that, yes even worse than both of Sakura's failed kill attempts on Sasuke because at least we actually saw the internal conflict she was going through that made her hesitate, we got none of that for Sarada, she just said she couldn't stand by and do nothing....only to stand by and do nothing.

So I really am hoping, by some miracle, the upcoming Kawaki development will lead to some for Sarada as well, but considering Boruto is being brought to the village now I doubt we'll be seeing that anytime soon and she'll continue hyperfixating on HIM and how HES treated until he somehow gets free.

And even then once he's free and out of the village, I hope her 'development' wont be just more bitching at everybody and calling Kawaki Otsutsuki too some more cuz my god, can the girl have any other personality traits besides 'bitter at everyone whos mean/doesnt like Boruto' ? I don't think thats too much to ask. Can she also actually act like she has other friends besides Sumire? can we really not let her be SO BORUTO CENTRIC that she avoids all her other friends/family, even her long time bestie Chocho, over a fkin boy? is this not THE SAME SHIT ppl got on Sakura for doing to Ino? choosing a boy over their friendship? wheres that energy now huh? just again goes to show where the priorities REALLY were all along.

This is a main reason I dont like the ship, because no other Sarada ship is she written THIS poorly for, when its her and Mitsuki their equals and Mitsuki gives just as much to her as she does for him, when its her and Kawaki they are also equals, Kawaki never looks down at her as defenseless or weak, he knows she's strong and capable of fending for herself and allows her to do so, its only BORUTO that intervenes and acts like she's helpless, HES the one who doesn't view her as an equal, but a helpless damsel that needs him to fight all her battles for her, even one about her own fkin father HE takes on the role of freeing him, best believe Sarada will have nothing to do with it, its gonna be all Boruto for her to have the big 'thank you' later and relieve Borutos guilt by returning her father to her, it sounds sweet in concept, but the execution is terrible and makes Sarada useless in her own plot, just like shes already useless in the plot in general besides being unaffected she has done literally nothing of substance with that immunity.

When shes with Boruto he will always take center stage, it'll never be an equal partnership with equal treatment, Sarada has given her ALL to Boruto yet Boruto hasn't even given half of that, the only time Sarada is a thought for him is as an extension of Sasuke, him thanking her before he left? because she sent Sasuke, his promise? because his dream is to be the supporting shadow like Sasuke who supports the Hokage and thus Sarada since she plans to be Hokage [put anyone else in that role and he'd do the exact same thing] , his new promise? to save Sasuke, him coming back to Konoha? to tell her what happened to Sasuke, him coming back again? because his sister was being targeted and then Sarada was being targeted by the Sasuke clone and he took the opportunity to kill him to get the thorn soul bulb that'll help free Sasuke

But when he was about to be killed by Kawaki? he only thought of his mom and sister, when Mitsuki guilt tripped him about breaking his promise, it was only the mention of his mother and sister that got him to change his mind, the only one Boruto has told Naruto is alive to was Mitsuki, not Sarada despite knowing thats her idol, he never made any attempts to contact Sarada in the entire 3 yrs despite clearly having the village bugged with frogs he can teleport to easily , hell he could even just leave letters with the frogs to deliver them to her, ya know, the sorta thing ppl got on Sasuke's case for not doing and now here Boruto is doing the same thing but nobody says anything about it.

Again I dont want this to get too long so Ima cut it here but I think I made my points clear enough at least to get why this ship is so ass and its shippers are so fake as hell shipping it. They can delude themselves that their the 'healthy' and 'not deluded' ones but they are, always have been, their just even worse now because they've lied to themselves for so long they actually believe it, and that is truly sad.

They should block, silence and report them and enjoy KawaSara week in peace, i hope that they won't let BS fans stop them from enjoying it!! Sorry i wrote a lot too lmfaoo.

Sonic was walking down the corridor looking over the vast training grounds of the castles knight barracks, he was discussing business with the knight Silver and the knight captain when he saw a glimpse of black and red in the corner of his eye. Briefly checking if the other two were paying attention, he gazed down at the metal clad Shadow. The man’s muscles flexing under a tattered linen shirt, patches of sweat and blood covering it. Shadow wore gauntlets and a half breastplate, the hot weather not letting the knights wear the full armor that they usually wore.

Shadow showed no restraint, jabbing the wooden blade deep in the other knights ribcage before a female knight stopped them both. Shadow bowed, discarded his wooden sword on the rack, and peeled off the heavy padding with visible relief. Sonic’s eyes didn’t waver for a moment, so absorbed by the sight of Shadow’s glistening furred body under the blazing summer sun that he did not notice Silver nudging him. “Prince? This is a serious matter.” The knight captain had his arms crossed over his chest, and Sonic apologized before tearing his eyes away from his knight. Silver shot him a knowing look, it was a miracle Shadow and Sonic’s relationship was still a secret with how the two (more-so Sonic) struggled to keep their hands and eyes to themselves.

Later, far past the sun had set and just as the kingdom settled down for the night, Shadow slipped past darkened corners of stone and moss to the garden behind Sonic’s room. The balcony was dizzyingly high, but he wasn’t going up there, not with the guards by the gardens gate only a dozen or so feet away. Shadow was going to the small pergola tucked into the far wall of the garden. Away from the guards and away from the castle itself,m. Hidden behind neatly trimmed bushes, trees draping their branches overhead, vines and flowers all sealing the area away. It was discovered by Sonic as a child, his own secret cove away from the expectations and duties of a young prince. Sonic’s friend and brother Tails was the only other person to see it, until Shadow.

Sonic was already there, candles around him turning his blue fur and white nightgown a warm shade of yellow. Shadow’s footsteps alerted Sonic, the princes ears darting up before his eyes. “My prince.” Shadow smiled, something he never did around anyone who wasn’t Sonic or… Maria.

“Shadow.” Sonic stood, joining the knight halfway and immediately being brought into a tight embrace, however their lips didn’t crash together in their usual hasty immature fashion. This time, Shadow buried his nose into Sonic’s neck, smelling faintly of soap. “Woah what’s up?” Sonic held Shadow closely, not letting go until Shadows own arms loosened. “Nothing, just missed you.” He said. Sonic snorted, brining Shadow to the bench. “You pretty much see me every day.” Sonic kissed Shadows cheek now that they both sat. Shadow took Sonic’s lips, leaning into him until both were lying across the bench. Sonic shuddered under the rough gloved hands that ran across his body. Sonic’s own gloves were off as unlike Shadow he actually dressed for sleep. His fingers poked around in the near pitch black for Shadows ears before he found their soft surface. He rubbed them, earning a growl, to which he snickered at, continuing to rub and massage the knights ears. Shadow’s growls turned into a low purr, and Sonic smiled. “Why don’t we take it slow today, I’m still sore from last time.” Sonic winked. Shadow rolled his eyes and sat up, letting Sonic crawl onto his lap and kiss him, claws running through black quills. “You? Sore? I’m always the one who has to convince you to rest.” Shadow nipped at Sonic’s neck, just where he had buried his face into earlier. “Well…” Sonic took a deep breath, stretching his neck out for Shadows fangs to graze over the blue fur. “Captain is suspecting another attack from Eggman, Silver and his team were out scouting the forest when they caught one of Eggman’s minions.” Sonic released the breath, slumping into Shadow’s arms. “How is this different than every other time?” Shadow asked, hoisting Sonic up and bringing him to the creaky wooden table that mostly stood as decorations, as when Sonic was placed on it, the single leg made a worrying sound. “The minion was…” Sonic waved his hands about, trying to find the words. “A clone?” Shadow raised an eyebrow. Sonic seeing the hedgehogs confusion quickly recounted what the captain and Silver told him.

“A clone of Amy… Why her?” The image of the princess came to mind, Shadow tried to imagine two of the girls, cringing. She was sweet but just as two candies was too much sugar, two Amy’s was too much… Amy. “I don’t know, she was completely under Eggman’s control until she saw the real-our Amy, something about the two seeing each other made the other Amy snap out of whatever spell she was in. They actually are getting along quite well!” Sonic laughed, fond of his friend, his once fiancé. Shadow growled again. “And what if there are more clones? Not everyone is as nice as Amy,” Shadow said nice reluctantly, he saw Amy more annoying than anything, “it makes sense why she came to, but what if it was Knuckles? Or you?”

“Or you.” Sonic grinned. “Impossible, there’s only one of me.” Shadow humphed. Sonic grinned wider and ground his hips down, the other nearly forgetting their position. “I don’t know, I’d like to be with two of you.” Sonic barely got the last word out before Shadow pushed him down again, tugging the fabric of Sonic’s gown away so he could get to the hem of the hedgehog’s pants, yanking it down ignoring how the button protested against Sonic’s hips. “Well I’d hate to be with two of you.” Shadow said. Sonic laughed, then moaned as Shadow’s mouth met the area between his legs.

After struggling to stifle his cries of pleasure for long enough for even some of the candles to burn out, the two cuddled on the bench, Sonic using his knight as cushioning from the old wood. “You will be called out to fight Eggman’s army again.” Shadow smoothed Sonic’s quills as he spoke. “Well duh, I’m a capable fighter as much as I’m a prince.” Sonic said, sticking his tongue out. Shadow frowned. “We will worry about it when the time comes, when had Eggman ever been a serious threat?” Sonic nuzzled into Shadows chest fluff, taking a deep breath and letting his fatigue wash over him. He yawned, and Shadow shook his shoulders. “Oh no you don’t, you need a bath and to sleep in a proper bed.” Shadow sat up, ignoring Sonic’s protests. By the time the two were up and retrieved their clothes, the birds started to rustle about in the trees, signaling the night reaching morning. Or at least, that is what the two assumed as they spoke in hushed voices all the way back to Sonic’s own room.

I find the secondary color of the top rather limiting since it's similar to shadow blue, but not dark enough to really complement other shades well. Definitely looking forward to see how this dyes with the second dye channel in 7.0.

Her name, is derived from the word "mimic", hence her name for her ability to shape-shift. Her true form is that of an evil-looking robotic spider, seen during most of the battles against her. Whenever Mimi is in her true form, her dialogue box is in a shade of purple with white text color, similar to the Shadow Queen and Bonetail in Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door.

Mimi wrote in her diary that her dream of a perfect world is a gem-filled pool with hunky lifeguards; this is one of the many times Mimi is shown to have a love for gems (especially Rubees) and boys.

Like Mario and Dimentio, Mimi is gifted with the ability to flip to 3-D. Mimi can also hover in the air, fly and warp to different locations. Fact: When her eyes and arms stretch out into the other two pairs, make a casino-esque jackpot noise.

Mimi's true identity is shrouded in mystery. There are two theories, according to Carson, that may explain who Mimi really is: a failed Pixl created by the Ancients, or the unintended result of a witch's experimentation with shape-shifting potions. A third theory could be her True Form. If Mario flips into 3D, the player can see gears from inside Mimi's spider form, implying that Mimi may be a robot altogether. This could be supported also by the fact that she apparently explodes into pieces in Chapter 2-3, but survives. Another explanation for her explosion in 2-3 is that she was still invincible, so she survived.

Like the previous two Tsumsted Wonderland SSR Groovies, the Azul and Kalim uncap artworks are references to the short animation that plays out whenever Tsum!Azul and Tsum!Kalim's abilities are used in the TsumTsum mobile game. They translated over really well to TWST, but there are also just enough new elements to make the illustrations stand out on their own and be representative of each respective dorm!!

Kalim's Groovy is also framed from a slight worm's eye view angle, but it creates a very different atmosphere! It feels more jubilant, like they're pulling off one last, big stunt to close off a night of partying and merrymaking. (The background here reminds me of the closing scene to Aladdin!) Are you ready? 1, 2, 3...!! And then the dark desert skies are born anew, bathed in the warm lights of fireworks popping off, fiery flowers blooming between the diamond-like stars. At that moment, Tsum!Kalim excitedly leaps up. Its rotund body is painted in shades of crimson and gold--as though Tsum!Kalim was the sun itself, come to pay a visit to the moon. Scarabia's dorm building and all the palm trees around you become nothing more than shadows, and you're taken in by the explosions above, sound and light rippling through the night. But the party's not over yet, the Scarabia duo reassure you. Come on, let's sing! Let's dance! The night is still young. Kalim may be holding his special staff in the Groovy art, but it doesn't really make him seem more authoritative or serious. It feels like he's just dropped an easy-going command to try some crackers or to join him for a dance! By contrast, Jamil kind of already looks like he's mid-dance 😂 with a leg lifted up and the fabric at his waist flowing out. With his magical pen pointed up like that, it gives the impression that Jamil set off the fireworks?? Which makes me think back to the Scalding Sands Fireworks event, when he had a very similar honor. oh im figuring it out now for my 2010s AU... random rambling time ok so. once Wuya is released by Jack Spicer, the whole show starts happening and stuff yknow. but also! Gezi (my OC / Wuya's other half in this AU) is stuck in a puzzle box as well. he can be released later on but that's bc the monks cannot figure out how to open the box Yet. oh and Gezi was imprisoned bc of the law of balance, Dashi knew if there was only good in the world it would be put off balance and the world would end. so he imprisoned both Wuya and Gezi in two different puzzle boxes. Gezi's puzzle box is in the Xiaolin temple while Wuya's was hidden elsewhere. so like. Wuya is released, Jack and the monks fight over shen gong wu, yadda yadda. but uhhh Chase Young has been watching the entire time bc he's waiting for the perfect moment to use and manipulate Omi and also Wuya. he asks Wuya to separate his "shadow" from him aka the last remaining innocence and good in his heart so he has a 0% chance to hesitate ruling the world nd manipulating Omi onto the dark side and whatever. so that's how Shade is introduced, he is basically the Yang to Chase's Yin. he cannot kill Shade because if one of Chase or Shade dies, they both die. so he has to deal with the younger, nicer version of himself. he tries to sway Shade into evil doing tho (he's bad at it) and then ummmmm. oh yeah Wuya and Gezi used to be one being (Tian) but then they split up into two humanoid beings because Tian fell for Dashi lmao. initially Wuya just teased and acted annoying, causing mischief around the temple. but Gezi was very... uptight and mean to Wuya. but they both really cared for Dashi. eventually Wuya goes entirely evil mode, causing mayhem and chaos mainly bc of how cruel Gezi was to her. they are both the same being, half and half, so its basically self hatred (so like it kinda reflects Chase and Shade). anyways Wuya founded the Heylin side to combat Gezi and the Xiaolin in general bc shes so mad. Shes sooo mad at her brother/other half. so like. she's become hateful and angry and betrayed by the Xiaolin. they treated Gezi so well and treated her like dirt. before she is imprisoned by Dashi, she leaves her darkest influence in a mortal i think (probably whoever im going to replace Roy Bean with LOLLL i hate that fucking legume). so her follower / minion / whatever is able to trick Chase Young into drinking that damn soup. so now he has to drink that soup to stay human-looking / keep his sanity. he's immortal and has become the dark prince of the Heylin or whatever. he liked Wuya before she went full evil but even afterwards he was kinda wooed by her raw power. Wuya's stupid boytoy demon minion thing was able to change their shape to trick Chase by posing as Guan and bla bla bla. anyways thats what i have So far... thenks if u read <:)

Gonna take a stab at Koopa Week once more! And starting things off with the one, the only, the Koopa King!! Alongside Koopa!Dal because hey, it's been a while. And he was here the last time I did Koopa week, so why not? :3

This pic takes place in an AU where Koopa!Dal becomes one of Bowser's minions at an earlier point in his life. He never receives his magic paintbrush here, but still has his Shade Sprite and thus has access to dark magic. And he actually knows how to use it, thanks to being trained by either Kamek, Kammy, or some other magic user in Bowser's forces.

Dalex is the card up Bowser's nonexistent sleeve, often being sent in when things get too hectic for other Minions or there's a mess that Bowser wants cleaned up. Usually in the form of sending in shadow beasts to gather everyone up and evacuate the area, followed by Dalex showing himself and wreaking havoc with his magic, his fists, and in rarer occasions, his potent venom.

But Dally is still Dally at his core, meaning he heavily dislikes fighting and isn't on the front lines for this very reason. Instead, his Boom Boom strength is put to use in carrying things from Point A to Point B throughout the entire kingdom. Courier work, basically, and Dal has yet to complain about something like that.

He isn't considered a member of the Koopalings, and in all honesty, he's not that interested in being part of them. It's their clique, not his. Though Bowser did appoint him as an unspoken babysitter for some of the younger ones, as well as Junior.

...That bit him in the ass when Junior's first word ended up being "Dolly!" Sorry, Your Majesty... XD

favorite pass time has to be sleep. i get home from school, i sleep. i can sleep anywhere and everywhere. even if i’ve just woken up, get me in a comfortable position, wrap my blankets around me so i’m warm and i’m out in 2 minutes lmao. other things are reading, writing, listening to music, and driving around (while listening to music lol)!!

for shows i’ve been re watching supernatural (hence the sudden urge to write for sam and dean lmao), i like shadow and bone, bridgerton, criminal minds, derry girls, twd, and house of the dragon! as for movies, i’m a proud despicable me fan, i love the lorax, any tim burton movie but especially sweeney todd!

my favorite animal (one that i’ve been wanting for years but my mom won’t let me get) is a crested gecko, but i love cats, dogs (especially the italian greyhound. 100% the dog i’m getting when i graduate)

i know it’s not part of it, but my favorite music/bands are definitely pierce the veil, three days grace, 3 doors down, system of a down, hozier, and chappell roan!!

again, congratulations on 2000 followers, and i know we don’t talk as often as you do everyone else, but i cherish every time we interact and i’m glad we’re mutuals. i hope we both can go through more milestones together!! 🩷 (sorry it’s so long i love to yap about things i love lol)

You cannot tell me that Regulus wouldn't be fucking obsessed with Minions, are you kidding me? and some evil dude who gets accosted by cuteness and then just leans into said cuteness? Reggie coded fr fr. Barty would constantly be shouting "IM GOING TO STEAL THE MOON!!!"

Barty would totally feed into the sleepy time - second classes are ending, he's dragging you to the dorms for snuggles and snoozes. Regulus would roll his eyes fondly but spend his time reading while you slept (and maybe a cheeky nap cuddled up to you from time to time).

your music gives me Reg vibes but the shows scream Barty (Reg would also love Bridgerton, Criminal Minds, and Sweeney Todd)
