Sooooo I was recently diagnosed with gastroparesis and I’m not sure what to do or eat. Everything I eat makes me uncomfortably full for hours. I do have an appointment with a dietitian next week. Does anybody on here have experience with this?!

My safe foods right now are only:

A sandwich with chips

Noodles

Small bowls of pasta

4 with a few fries

I only eat once a day. And it’s usually something from the list above. I am severely underweight and malnourished on top of already having muscular dystrophy. I really don’t want a feeding tube but my body won’t let me consume much without feeling tooo full 😭😭😭

i got one of those blind bags from Too Good to Go from a store and it ended up having only meat products in it and when i tell you i forgot what chicken tasted like, i really really did.

my first bite of meat in years and i was like. "what is this? I can't tell what im tasting" it was chicken the taste was chicken

i was thinking about the causes of himawari's death because for a long time i didn't really expand on it or have an idea for a clear defined issue other than the fact that her issues were barely treated so she died but i've been gathering knowledge on my own issues (GERD and digestive issues in general since hima is my sona and i based her issues on mine) and i feel like since her dad was busy as fuck to even notice her issues, the prolonged and untreated acid in her throat from acid reflux caused her to develop barret's esophagus or esphageal cancer later down the line that was too late to cure and therefore she died. anyways sorry for spilling this tragic lore dump i was thinking about it

For years, severe insomnia had me writing at night. I'm not a night owl, not by any stretch. For the last several nights, I've tried writing this extremely smutty scene, but to no avail. My brain begins preparing for closing at around 8PM, knocking me into a stage of stupid by 10PM as it demands I go to bed. I take my edible (I cannot use Rx sleep aids, but the edible I use works magic) and fight bedtime like a damn child. By 11PM, it's kicked in fully, and I'm walking around with just one eye open and constantly touching my face and hair. No point in fighting sleep, so off to bed.

My natural wake-up time is six hours after crashing. Doesn't matter when I go to bed. Damn near exactly six hours of sleep, and then I cannot sleep anymore. This morning, I was up at 7:18AM, and decided to stop being stupid and try writing now instead of the evening.

Wow, look at that. 1400 words in the span of an hour, and I'm not even halfway done. Gosh, it can't possibly have anything to do with me following my body's natural cycle, can it?

I'll have this delicious filthy chapter posted by the end of the day.

Old person news of the week: without thinking much about it, I bought a different fibre supplement than usual and I finished off the old bottle and started the new one a few days ago and I can't stop farting. I've been farting all night and I'm still bloated and I still have to fart. I don't even know how this much farting is possible.
