i was thinking about the causes of himawari's death because for a long time i didn't really expand on it or have an idea for a clear defined issue other than the fact that her issues were barely treated so she died but i've been gathering knowledge on my own issues (GERD and digestive issues in general since hima is my sona and i based her issues on mine) and i feel like since her dad was busy as fuck to even notice her issues, the prolonged and untreated acid in her throat from acid reflux caused her to develop barret's esophagus or esphageal cancer later down the line that was too late to cure and therefore she died. anyways sorry for spilling this tragic lore dump i was thinking about it
