If you expressed “negative sentiment” toward insurance companies on social media following the murder of UnitedHealthcare’s CEO last month, the government was watching. “Following the shooting, the New York State Intelligence Center (NYSIC-CTC) identified a large amount of negative sentiment towards healthcare executives and health insurance companies on social media,” a bulletin produced by a regional intelligence group on December 12 says. The bulletin goes on to warn of “users online wanting to counter ‘corporate greed’” as well as “growing negative sentiment around conglomerates, the wealthy, and executive staff at private and public organizations.” Setting aside the yeah-no-shit factor, the report provides rare insight into how the government threat machine stokes fear among law enforcement agencies across the country. The document is one of a flurry threat reports quietly circulated to law enforcement across the country by a sprawling network of little-known intelligence organizations created in response to 9/11. Called fusion centers, groups like the New York State Intelligence Center were tasked with fighting terrorism, which alleged the killer Luigi Mangione was charged with. Today, there is at least one fusion center in all 50 states (even Wyoming, home to the Wyoming Information Analysis Team.)

Hello! Can I request Jing Yuan and Himeko (if you take requests for her) with a teen!reader that slipped up and accidentally called them mom/dad? You can add some other characters if you want to but those were the 2 I thought of

A/N: HIMEEEEKOOOO!!! 🏃♀️🗣️🔥🤭🥰❤️
[Aventurine ver] | Part 3

The quiet hum of the Luofu’s command center was a comforting backdrop as you worked diligently, reviewing reports Jing Yuan had assigned you. His eyes observed from his chair, where he sat with his typical relaxed posture, his fingers idly petting the tassel of the scroll at his side.
Jing Yuan had always been a figure of strength and wisdom in your life. His calm demeanor, strategic mind, and rare flashes of humor made him feel more like a guiding figure than just a leader. It was only natural you looked up to him, even more so when he took you under his wing as an apprentice among the Cloud Knights.
"How are the reports coming along?" Jing Yuan’s voice broke through your thoughts, deep and soothing, as he leaned forward with a smile.
"I-I'm almost done, sir," you stammered, nerves getting the better of you under his gaze.
“Good, good,” he said with a chuckle. “No need to rush. Take your time; careful analysis is better than speed.”
His words felt like a fatherly reassurance, and without thinking, you blurted out, “Thanks, Dad—I mean, General! Sir!” You froze, the slip sending your cheeks ablaze.
Jing Yuan paused, his sharp eyes widening in surprise before a deep laugh rumbled from his chest. “Dad, you say? I must admit, that’s a first.” He leaned back in his chair, clearly amused.
“I-I didn’t mean it! It just slipped out!” You waved your hands, flustered beyond belief.
He raised a hand to calm you. “Relax, little one. I find it endearing. I suppose after all the lessons and guidance, I’ve earned a bit of that sentiment, haven’t I?”
You nodded hesitantly, still embarrassed. Jing Yuan stood and approached, placing a steady hand on your shoulder. “I don’t mind being seen that way by someone as promising as you. But remember, as much as I’ll guide you, I also expect you to grow into your own. The Cloud Knights need more than just my shadow.”
His words settled your nerves, and you managed a small smile. “Thank you, sir. I mean… Dad?”
Jing Yuan chuckled again, his golden eyes warm. “Just don’t let the others hear you call me that. They might get ideas.”

The Astral Express hummed softly as it hurtled through the cosmos, the stars outside the window painting a canvas of endless wonder. Himeko stood at the control panel, her usual calm poise radiating warmth and reassurance. You were seated nearby, pretending to work on a maintenance task but mostly stealing glances at her.
Himeko had always been a source of inspiration for you—her elegance, intelligence, and unyielding kindness made her feel like more than just a mentor. She was the heart of the Express, and sometimes, she felt like the heart of your small, scattered family aboard.
“Need help with that?” she asked, catching your distracted state.
“N-no, I’ve got it!” you replied quickly, fumbling with the tools in your hands. You felt her presence as she approached, her hair catching the light as she leaned closer to inspect your work.
“You’re doing great,” she said, her voice gentle. “Just be patient with yourself. Growth takes time.”
“Thanks, Mom,” you said instinctively before freezing, your eyes going wide. “Wait, I didn’t mean—oh no, I—”
Himeko blinked in surprise, then let out a soft laugh that echoed like a melody. “Mom, hmm? That’s a first for me,” she teased, her eyes sparkling with amusement.
“I’m so sorry! I didn’t mean to—it just slipped out!” you stammered, utterly mortified.
She knelt down beside you, resting a hand on your shoulder. “Hey, it’s okay. If anything, I’m flattered. It’s not every day I get to be called that.”
You glanced at her, hesitant. “Really?”
“Really,” she said warmly. “If thinking of me as a mother figure helps you feel more at home here, then I don’t mind at all. The Astral Express is more than just a ship—it’s a family. And families look out for each other.”
Her words soothed your embarrassment, and you managed a small smile. “Thanks, Himeko… Mom?”
She grinned. “I could get used to that. Just don’t let March or the others hear that; they might get jealous.”
You both laughed, the moment easing into a newfound sense of comfort and belonging aboard the Express.

Fandom Concerns: Cullen, Solas, and Forgiveness Deserved?
Something something, the narrative and character parallels between Cullen and Solas are quite fascinating in a microcosm but also reflective of the potential problematic nature of their romances in regards to analysis and meta talk.
This is not to say their romances are bad- even if I still struggle with the appeal of Solas' romance (just being transparent here), I enjoy his character. The central issue is the consistent narrative I've seen brought up, coddling and fixing both men in regards to their conflicts, Cullen with his lyrium and trauma, and Solas with his own past and actions in DATV.
In Cullen's case, it is not difficult to avoid such a narrative, but once you dig just a bit deeper, you find how easily it is to fall into the trap of coddling when addressing the major problems in his story. Fandom reaction can be mixed when faced with these plot points. Usually, it becomes a narrative of wanting to fix him or, worse, ignoring the issue altogether. If this was just about enjoying his character for fluff, then fine, take no mind in what I say. I love fluff as well and sometimes, i just want to enjoy a sweet narrative.
However, I am pointing towards more lenient analysis of Cullen and his arc that I have seen pop up through meta or even some analytical fanfiction (or so-called)
I don't find fault in people wanting to enjoy a simple and generally romantic story/fanfic. I also love them but for ones that try to somewhat address or tackle his story with critical thought, I take issue with the themes of the LI being the center and cause of his healing journey or sometimes lack thereof. It is not wrong to want to help and fix your partner, but at what cost?
It is not healthy to ignore the valid reasons why Cullen should have had a redemptive arc instead of a healing one. Relationship with Cullen becomes questionable in a realistic sense post game. Points and concerns of his past will prop up. That is the nature of relationships. To willingly allow his problematic biases and fears remain, to allow the narrative that love fixes a man, a woman fixes a man? That's what I take issue the most, why I cannot understand the vehemently denial of the necessity of redemption. This isn't about how you enjoy Cullen, it's about acting as if there are no faults in a man who actively seeks redemption for his actions. Aren't you taking away from his own narrative by claiming no fault in himself?
Some of my favorite Cullen fics and ships have no input in his redemptive story, but at the very least, they aren't built rose colored.
This is all the same for Solas. I have seen recently of narratives that leave Solas blameless for all his actions, pointing to all other people in canon such as Varric and Rook. And egregiously, Mythal.
Is this reflective of his disappointing narrative in DATV or the brewing sentiment towards Solas after a decade? Could be both. What is true is that his story falls directly in the trope of women (in this case 3) fixing him. Mythal, Morrigan, and Lavellan, for the good ending. It takes no time to address the faults of the man, directly letting him essentially go scotfree. Solas is not a good man nor entirely a bad man. Instead of understanding that characterization, we have a story that initially treats him as a proud, selfish man but ends with him, good man? This fault in his narrative becomes reflective of how the fandom treats his character, jumping from villification and obsession
Playing DATV on its own, Solas' character is muddy at best and contradicting at worse. This grey area makes it easy for certain groups to coddled and over-excuse Solas without even acknowledgments of the literal deaths at his hands. His appeal was never about being a misunderstood character- his appeal is about a character who is trapped with ideals and regrets of days long gone. His inability to change and learn is his downfall, so to have people say he did nothing wrong, that he was justified, erases the crux of what made Solas even a character.
What I say is never out out of hatred to those that enjoy their characters and romances, God knows how much I love Cullen. I literally talked about him every day for nearly 5 months.
But I will always take issue with people who purposefully disregard the blatant issues these men have and how misogynistic themes can be presented by fandom and its culture.
It becomes even more worrisome when this resolute refusal to accept both of their narrative issues and problematic history turns into talking points that mirror alt right pipelines and conservative culture.
Grants, I've been in the DA fandom for 5 months, 4 on tumblr. My observations are more of what I see in the current day and maybe it's limited, but I don't speak out of my ass when I see some weird shit growing in the corners.
#dragon age#cullen rutherford#Solas#fandom critical#cullen critical#solas critical#just in case#im not saying they both dont deserve forgiveness but the fandom tends to be way more lenient for these two#and again im a ceaze cullavellan just look at my page#i enjoy the fluff and the romance from many MANY creators#but sometimes people's interpretations to the narrative can be reliant of misogynistic tropes#thats what i worry about#solas is more prevalent nowadays while cullen is much smaller#so for the cullen one this isnt directed at one person specifically but definitely a sizeable chunk in many platforms ive been on

Also, we've seen what's going in Buck's life at the moment: he is missing Eddie to the point of driving people crazy, he slept with his ex and got accused of being in love with his best friend. Do people think Buck is going to talk about any of that to Eddie, the best friend he might or might be in love with? I imagine when Eddie asks about how Buck is, Buck just say "same old, same old, anyway, how is Chris?"
eddie after spiraling about what the best thing to do for christopher that day is: so how are things with you?
buck: same
lmaoo no but i think it makes total sense we haven't addressed that conversation about buck and eddie between buck and eddie yet. i think they're holding on to it, building up the suspense. but i also think it makes sense to keep dragging out this tension for some time still so i'm all for it. I was kinda addressing sentiments id seen from bucktommy shippers or anti buddies in that post you're responding to. about how it's been a disservice to buck's character and storyline that him hooking up with tommy hasn't been brought up in the last 2 episodes, that he hasn't seemed to have talked to eddie about it yet and eddie just keeps talking about his problems and not asking what's going on with buck and im just like ! yeah guys i think that just because eddie's specific plot is taking center stage right now doesn't mean it isn't also informing us about buck's current plot! that what's going on with eddie and christopher is also what's going on with buck ! that this is where the priority is for both of their storylines. that this is important characterization of buck! so some of those people want it to be addressed but not because they think buck is in love with eddie, but because otherwise it's just bad writing or a bad display of friendship that they aren't also talking about buck's rebound on these facetimes calls. but idk i agree with you that it doesn't seem like something buck would bring up to eddie so simply on facetime. (because it's important set up for later) idk i like going in the bucktommy tag or looking over blogs focused on them because i think there's interesting analysis to be had about them, but more often than not a lot of sentiments just feel like the most bad faith or narrow interpretation of what's happening on the show it's just makes me frustrated and i give up lol. like guys i think both eddie and buck care a hell of a lot about christopher and it makes complete sense to me that would be the priority of both of their storylines in this particular moment. obviously we're gonna move on to other things and have new developments with all these characters soon, i know tommy is coming back in the next episode or two so im sure we'll get back to how buck is feeling about what happened with tommy. but im perfectly fine with all of these plots lines taking their time, we don't have to address everything ever episode (actually think buddie plot is being addressed a little too much rn 🤫🫣)
#911#911 spoilers#buddie#anti bucktommy#sorry anon i know you sent this like 4 days ago 😔#life needed living ya know#thank you tho i'm always down to talk my shit with you people of the internet#(also idk if it's intentional but leaving in the not in 'might not be in love with' was very funny#mine#reply#anon ask

✩ ‧₊˚ ⌞ LIGHT CONE ⌝

sampo analysis m.list
— what the stars reveal: analysis, elation!sampo
— word count: 2.6k
— overview: (as of 2.2) a look at sampo’s light cone, its art & story, and what it might mean for an elation-centered identity.
☆━━━━━ ⋆⁺。˚⋆˙‧₊☾ ◯ ☽₊‧˙⋆˚。⁺⋆ ━━━━━━☆
✩ ‧₊˚ ⌞ EYES OF THE PREY ⌝
“Eyes of the Prey” is a surprisingly Hunt-aligned name for a Nihility light cone (and by extension, character). It’s a departure from other light cones like Acheron’s “Along the Passing Shore” and Silver Wolf’s “Incessant Rain,” and, to keep things even, four-star light cones like “We Will Meet Again” and “Boundless Choreo.” While there are other Nihility light cones with “upbeat” names like Sparkle’s four-star “It’s Showtime!”, I can plausibly make the connection between the names and the Nihility path.
For example, “It’s Showtime!” can be attributed to the way certain Elation beliefs view the universe as inherently worthless — the only departure from Nihility’s obvious depression and stagnation is that certain Elation followers use this belief to instead cause chaos. Basically, the Elation and the Nihility can rest of different “ends” of the apathy spectrum, and are therefore connected. Similarly, most Nihility light cones have a sense of melancholy or stagnation to them, like “Good Night and Sleep Well” dealing with sleep and rest, and “Incessant Rain” calling to the image of constant, dreary weather. The only exception is Luka’s “Resolution Shines As Pearls of Sweat” — I’ll be completely honest, I don’t have an explanation for that one. (In fact, it seems to be the opposite of what Nihility light cones usually are, showing a clear goal and drive to succeed.)
The point is: “Eyes of the Prey” doesn’t seem like it would be a Nihility light cone’s name, yet it is. “Prey” is so obviously a Hunt-coded word that it begs the question: Why Nihility? A potential answer is that Sampo is breaking the rules of the universe yet again. Another is that he is using the Nihility as a shroud to hide his true identity, or even that the idea of “predator and prey” in the context of his character is more “melancholy” or “stagnant” than we are led to believe.
“Eyes of the Prey” is extremely visceral, focusing on not just the positionality of “prey” — something being chased or hunted with the intention of being killed — but the eyes of such a creature. Perhaps even the moment it looks behind them to see a predator giving chase; fear, adrenaline, survival. This goes against everything Nihility is, yet it persists. Why?
To answer this, we must look beyond the surface level of the name and focus on Sampo’s character, his personality and wants and beliefs. As mentioned in my outfit analysis, there is a heavy theme of constriction to his appearance, of being wrapped and choked by something until all that’s left is blood. The idea of Sampo as a prey animal may cause an assumption of fear, adrenaline, and survival, but perhaps that isn’t entirely accurate. Perhaps, like everything else in his long life, it has been left to stagnate, dripping into melancholy like an incessant rain of blood.
After enough time, wouldn’t the pain become numbing? After enough time, wouldn’t it be difficult to fight, to find a reason to survive? Perhaps Sampo is only still here because he has to be, not because he wants to. I find that sentiment to be much more Nihility-centered than what we see at first glance. It would make sense, then, that a Nihility character is gifted a Nihility light cone of this name — he is prey, yes, but his eyes are hiding a kind of resignation that only truly resonates with IX.
Another possibility, however, is that Sampo is not entirely affiliated with Nihility at all. Especially in an Elation!Sampo reading, it could be that he is using Nihility as a kind of shroud, an all-encompassing darkness just thick enough to hide the truth of him. After all, IX wouldn’t care. IX doesn’t care about anything. So, it would make sense that Their Path is open to those who use it to hide, to obscure, draping it over the truth like a blackout curtain during a storm.
This would also fit with an Elation-centered identity — as mentioned earlier, many views of Elation still see the universe as “meaningless” in a similar way to Nihility, the only difference is in presentation. Elation!Sampo may be considered just close enough to slot himself into IX’s Path without having to worry too much about complications. Alternatively, he could just be breaking the rules of the universe once again, like not leaving footprints or appearing and disappearing at will. It could, in a sense, be another “magic act” where he (for lack of a better phrase) fucks around and finds out. The higher up the chain his true identity is, the more power he would likely have to pull something like this off.
Overall, even in just the name, we can make a ton of little connections. But that’s not all.
✩ ‧₊˚ ⌞ ART ⌝

The art for this light cone adds some much-needed context. Beyond everything discussed in the name section, we can see a specific scenario take root: the idea of a man through a scope. The definition of “prey” has been, ironically, constricted to a more technological and modern setting. While the presence of the gun, money, and Sampo’s dynamic pose is still chaotic in its own right, there is also a sense of calculation, of intent, that is juxtaposed by the fear and adrenaline of the light cone’s name. Here, “Eyes of the Prey” begins to become less about a fearful prey animal and more about a self-aware trap. Sampo is smiling and relaxed as he always is, showing a clear lack of surprise.
Despite being “prey,” he isn’t caught off-guard, making direct eye contact through the scope while leaning his arm against a piece of furniture, as if he always knew this was going to happen. His other arm, while somewhat tilted up, seems to be raised almost in a form of greeting — a “Haha, you caught me, what are you going to do now?” kind of taunt. He isn’t even brandishing a weapon, so confident in his own skills of persuasion that he doesn’t need it. This ties into the self-awareness and omniscience of his character; someway, somehow, he seems to know when and where and how and why everything is happening. His wealth of knowledge is so vast that genuinely catching him off-guard is rare beyond the occasional performance. Which begs the question: Is he really the prey here?
The light cone is called “Eyes of the Prey,” but it never says whose prey-eyes they are. While Sampo’s eyes are the ones we see, we the viewer are placed in the first-person “eyes” of the man in the scope. It is entirely possible that the “prey” the name refers to is not Sampo himself, but rather the poor hitman who finds himself looking into the eyes of a predator he is incredibly unequipped to handle. (It doesn’t help that the way the “scope” is designed looks like peering through an eye socket with lines.)

However, as compelling as that is, I find myself subscribing to a secret, third thing — or more like a combination of the two. I believe in a sort of predator-prey Venn Diagram, where Sampo is both and the hitman is also both. Let me explain:
Sampo is undoubtedly being tracked and “hunted” by a predator (positioning him as prey), but he is also prepared and able to turn the tables as soon as the hunt occurs (positioning him as a predator). On the other side, the hitman is the one originally doing the act of “hunting” by positioning Sampo in the scope (predator), yet soon finds himself out of his depth with who exactly he is confronted with (prey).
This speaks to the flexibility of Sampo’s character and personalty — the ability to be both hunter and hunted, both predator and prey. It’s not even his status he’s changing, but the hitman’s by proxy. The hitman has no say in what Sampo does from here on out, he becomes the prey (and has perhaps been so all along) completely outside of his control. This sort of “infectious” status of change and chaos links back to Elation, or at least the idea of influencing those around you to exist in different states of being.
We could even link this more broadly to Sampo’s character and the outfit we so clearly see in this light cone; the idea that the one constricting him is also himself. He is the victim of the snake, the hurt, the prey, but also the one being contained, the aggressor, the predator. A constant cycle of purgatory where he lies between two extremes, flitting back and forth between each one until the winding of the snake becomes incomprehensible, until there are so many ins and outs and outs and throughs that trying to distinguish one from the other is an almost impossible task.
Elation is hurting him. He is Elation. Elation is hunting him. He is Elation. Elation is constricting him, suffocating him, positioning him in the eye-scope of a gun. Yet, still, he is Elation.
(At some point, when the enthusiasm of the Laughter dies, wouldn’t the bones of Nihility be all that remains?)
✩ ‧₊˚ ⌞ STORY ⌝

The story further emphasizes the relationship between predator and prey, as well as the interchanging and grey area between the two. It starts with the line “In reality, most prey don’t realize when danger is encroaching.” While, for the first part of this story, the assumption is that Sampo is the unknowing prey, once again, no name or identity is specified. All we have reference to is “most prey” and “this one” in the next line. By the end, these monikers could plausibly apply to the hitman as well.
Continuing on, it’s notable that Sampo is described to “seem” oblivious, rather than actually “be” oblivious. This is another link to performance versus genuine emotion — “seeming” is not the same as “being.” Sampo, as someone experienced in putting on an act, would be very good at convincing others — aka “seeming” — like he was doing something or feeling something that isn’t entirely accurate. We see this throughout his appearances in-game, and this light cone is no exception. He is, once again, deceiving someone (albeit, someone who is trying to kill him).
(Small side note: I don’t know what it is, but there’s something so hot about imagining Sampo stacking all his money on a table or something. It probably has to do with the similar effect his money idle has where he flips through it and looks so damn pleased with himself, but I don’t know. Maybe it’s the self-confidence. Maybe it’s the deception. Maybe it’s the fake “candidness” of it all. Either way, I’m absolutely here for it.)
I also don’t know if I agree with the hitman’s assessment of Sampo being “what greed looks like.” While I suppose it’s correct that he “looks” like greed despite potentially not “being” it (or fully embodying it), I don’t see his chasing of money as… well… genuine as he would make it seem. Again, he has many running themes of deception and trickery, so I wouldn’t be surprised if this “greed” is a facade for something deeper.
There’s the possibility that he only really likes money for what it can do for him, rather than the actual value it may have. (And if we’re going with some of the more heartbreaking theories like Doll Theory, him wanting money would be less about greed and more about reclaiming a part of his existence, trying to find some sense of control in a world that has routinely tried to take it from him.) Perhaps he’s even fallen into scamming and gambling as a way to feel like he has autonomy over his body and mind, creating an almost compulsive need to scrub over the constant push and pull of the snake constricting him.
Moving on, the hitman’s perceived leverage in the situation is abruptly upended by Sampo turning to look directly into the scope. This, of course, marks the point where Sampo reveals the tables have been turned. Now, with the hitman aware of his prey status, he can’t do anything but freeze and listen as Sampo offers him money. It’s notable that Sampo says, “I’ve been waiting for you” instead of alternatives like “I knew you would come” or “I’m not surprised.” No, this line carries not just intent, but action.
Like I’ve mentioned in some of my talks about Sampo’s self-awareness, he not only has the ability to be seemingly omniscient, but the power to act on it as well. Although his idea of “acting” on something is usually waiting or imperceptibly moving pieces so that they fall at the right time in the right place, that’s still an action — as well as Aha’s modus operandi. It’s similar to his fourth wall-breaking: it’s not enough that he knows about the audience, but that he is able to understand and engage with us as well. Through all of this, he is basically breaking the laws of the universe. If that doesn’t speak of power, I don’t know what does.
I still feel bad for the hitman, though. Poor guy really never knew what he was up against until it was too late. Like a snake waiting to strike, Sampo stayed still, seemingly oblivious, until the right moment arrived to show his hand. In that way, he’s extremely patient. And his poor predator-prey never stood a chance.
(Also, note: the only “eyes” mentioned in this text are the eyes of the sniper. Just food for thought.)
✩ ‧₊˚ ⌞ ABILITY ⌝
Before I close out, I wanted to briefly mention something I found interesting: the superimpositions for this light cone are titled “Self-Confidence” which I find matches his character very well. Self-confidence is at the core of so many things he does, as whatever status he has seems to grant him enough power and stability to be almost delusionally confident. After all, if he has the ability to know so many things and act on them in so many precise ways, why wouldn’t he be? (It could, however, also point to the projection of self-confidence hiding deeper, darker emotions.)

Interestingly enough, Sparkle’s “It’s Showtime” light cone carries on the theme of the self with “self-amusement” and sets up a pattern between the two, which is also cool! I’m guessing it’s an Elation/Masked Fools thing.

Overall, I feel like Sampo’s light cone adds a lot to the themes already present in his outfit — animals, constriction, blood, and death. It further emphasizes the relationship between predator and prey, not just on an outward level, but at an inward one as well. Personally, I believe this to be symbolic of a greater relationship with the Elation and compulsory existence, but it can be interpreted in a number of different ways as well!

I almost want to call the reaction to Sinners a cultural phenomenon it’s so early but it’s so remarkable it almost doesn’t make sense. I think in due time we will see through a phenomenological analysis how it changed film culture. IPA centers lived experiences as it relates to a phenomenon and in the case of this movie, the people have created all the talk about the impact it’s having as well as Ryan’s own sentiments that this movie is about his family, or his peoples. People in the center means great Art!

ɢʜᴏsᴛs ᴄʜᴀʀᴀᴄᴛᴇʀ ᴀɴᴀʟʏsɪs/ɪɴᴛᴇʀᴘʀᴇᴛᴀᴛɪᴏɴ ᴘᴛ. 1
----
I started this with a small insight into a Thor character analysis, and someone from the Discord server wanted more, so I'm posting this here :))
Part one is Isaac, because I have the most to say about him.
! PLEASE UNDERSTAND !
This is simply my interpretation of the character- I'm by no means saying this is canon or that this is definitive to their personality. I include headcanons, opinions, and fill in a few blanks and crinks I believe the show somewhat leaves behind.
I wrote this very late at night, so forgive me if this is at any point incomprehensible or repetitive :((
Isaac's character and his 'arcs' have been swinging every which way (one point he acts like he's reforming and learning from his actions, just to relapse COMPLETELY the next episode, the show ignoring any progress he may have made -it pisses me off tbh) so I'll try to make this as cohesive as possible.
First and most obviously; his sexuality. This is kinda rough, because he seems to go back and forth between being confident with it, and accepting of himself, to insecure and uncomfortable with anything regarding it. It obviously started with denial- the internalized homophobia just simply came with the time period he's from (this also plays into another issue he has, but we'll get to that) and eventually, as he realized his sexuality and his feelings towards Nigel, he obviously wanted to act on it- he wanted that romantic connection he was never able to feel with anyone before, but he didn't realize that's what he wanted. I personally see Isaac as Asexual- which is a pretty common sentiment among the fandom, and the way the show portrays his repulsion to sexual topics being brought up, or heaven forbid, sexualizing himself (aside from the stripper scene, but I think that was a mixture of physical, aesthetic attraction, and Dinosaur nerding out than it ever was truly sexual attraction) BUT every time he attempts to reach out romantically- what HE perceives as romantically- it's always sexual in some sense, not really romance, even though that's what he craves. (I'm not sure I'm explaining this well it's really hard to word)- He WANTS a true romantic relationship, but he believes he HAS to be sexual in order for that to happen (as seen by his "move" on Hetty, which again, we'll get back to) even though he's uncomfortable or even outright disgusted by sexual act. Whether this is because he's still uncomfortable with his sexuality, or simply because he's not interested in sex, doesn't really matter- because either way, it eventually leads him to decide if a romantic relationship means sexual act (which wasn't helped by Nigel's eagerness and horniness- but that's not necessarily Nigel's fault) then maybe it wasn't a romantic relationship he really wanted after all. This leads to the break up and all that- and it may be proven completely wrong with all the Chris issues coming up (and the strange "I miss physical touch" comment Isaac made?? Which didn't make sense to me??) Like I said, it feels like the writers are trying to go a million different ways with his character all at the same time- it makes it simultaneously annoying and super fun to analyze him.
Now that that's out of the way, we can talk about his people pleaser complex..? If you'd call it that. Another annoying aspect of his character- he seems to either be really self centered and assured, or again, super insecure and wants people to like him- which I guess can coexist, but it's such a specific mental space to be in that it makes it seem unrealistic. A lot of his insecurity came from his sexuality as well- he spent so long trying to convince himself and others he was a 'normal' straight guy, and that may have contributed to everyone's adversion to him- or he was simply a lil weirdo- but either way, others in his life didn't think highly of him and weren't afraid to act as such- which led him to the people-pleaser mindset. Either 1) He acts like he's better than everyone else because he thinks doing so will make others think he's better than they would normally consider him (basically trying to convince them he's cooler than he is) or 2) The writers simply cannot tell if they want him to be egotistical or insecure. Yes, he can be both at the same time, but that's such a complicated personality point - especially compared to the others - and they don't really seem to be doing a good job portraying it in my opinion.
Anyway, this people-pleaser mindset forms a comphet mindset, and that leads to his "move" on Hetty- attempting to suppress who he is, in an attempt to be a person he thinks people want him to be. Then, when he finally accepts his sexuality as a part of himself, he opens up in a rare admission of vulnerability, and then the next episode completely deflects this vulnerability by returning to an arrogant, egotistical persona. This would be a great way to portray a character who struggles with simple forms of intimacy and exposing his 'weaknesses' so to speak, except.. They completely forget about it by the next episode. It turns into a joke. Which, yes, makes sense, but it makes it hard to take his character seriously, or see him as anything other than an arrogant asshole because these moments of vulnerability are completely overshadowed and moved past. His yearning for validation also forms in his efforts to "make history". He doesn't want to be famous, he wants to be liked. He wants people to know him, and like him- and because the people in his life never liked him, he wants to make that happen by putting his name out there and maybe the people who learn about him through history (his book) would like him better. That also plays into his hatred for Hamilton, even if the guy was only 19 while Isaac was 35, Hamilton was liked- people found him charming, and effortlessly so, while Isaac worked so hard to be likable, and still couldn't get people to stop giving him weird looks and scorn. Especially so when Isaac experiences how much of an asshole Hamilton can be.
All in all, Isaac wants to be liked. He wants to be well known and well liked, but he also craves to be himself- he wants to accept his vulnerabilities and sexuality as is- but he doesn't believe those two options can coexist. He thinks people won't like him if he's himself - He was terrified to come out to Hetty in fear of rejection and scorn, and this same mindset led to his break up with Nigel. Isaac didn't want to find something "new and exciting" - hell, I don't even think he was scared of being "stuck" in another loveless marriage. He was scared of trapping Nigel. Trapping him in a situation where he wouldn't be happy- in a relationship where Isaac couldn't give him what he needed, because Isaac believes (due to multiple external influence) that relationships need to progress constantly - as well as the fact that romantic relationships = sexual relationships, and that's one thing Isaac can't force himself into to comply with what others want him to be. He also couldn't simply talk about this with Nigel, because Isaac struggles to accept the fact that others can accept him for who he is- and thinks if he goes 'belly up' in this relationship, exposing those vulnerabilities that made him such an outcast in his living life, Nigel would hate him too- and he would rather 'intentionally' make Nigel hate him, rather than Nigel simply hate him, right?
I wish I could say I know how the show is going to take this, but like I've said they're so up and down with Isaac's progression and personality that it makes it hard to tell. And, like I said, I could completely change my mind about all of this in the next few weeks, but this is how I interpret his character right now. In an ideal world, he would express his feelings to Nigel- how he feels about sexual acts, or simply explain how he views relationships as a whole. Maybe use a Nigel/Chris revenge sex plot point to have Isaac confess something along the lines of "Glad you found someone who can do that for you"/"Sorry I couldn't do that for you" to prompt the conversation and get Nigel to tell him how Isaac's wrong about how he'd react to that information- something like that. It'd end with him both 1) Fully accepting his sexuality in a relationship that's romantic, just as he craves, and not sexualized and 2) accepting that people will like him for who he is, and that he doesn't need to deflect these vulnerabilities and act like a completely different person in order to get people to like him. I think that would leave him satisfied enough that the book doesn't matter- especially because it seems to be getting further and further away from his initial goal of "biography turned big hit" to get his name out there, kind of an acceptance of "the people who matter are the ones who care," yeah? I'd think that'd be enough to see him sucked off :))

Allegations of Electoral Fraud in Michigan Spark Debate Over Voter Roll Integrity
March 25, 2025 A recent report from The Gateway Pundit has ignited fresh controversy in Michigan, where data analyst Tim Vetter of Data Evaluation of Election Processes (DEEP) alleges that Secretary of State Jocelyn Benson’s office illegally erased over 35,000 voter histories from the state’s voter rolls. This revelation, tied to two 2024 special elections, has raised serious questions about election integrity in a state that has long been a battleground for partisan disputes over voting processes.
According to Vetter, the missing voter history records violate Michigan laws MCL 168.932(c), which prohibits fraudulent alterations to vote history records, and MCL 168.509q(1)(f), which mandates that voter histories be maintained for a five-year period. The erased records pertain to special elections held on January 30 and April 16, 2024, to replace two Democratic state representatives. Vetter’s analysis revealed discrepancies between the “Source QVF” (Qualified Voter File) held by local clerks and the “Altered QVF” managed by Benson’s Bureau of Elections (BOE), with the latter missing vote history data for all 10 sample voter IDs he tested.
Vetter, a respected Manufacturing Equipment Engineer who has spent years scrutinizing Michigan’s voter rolls, told The Gateway Pundit, “We have never reviewed an accurate list of voters in the vote history data from Jocelyn Benson’s BOE.” He argues that such discrepancies, bloated voter rolls and altered histories, create opportunities for electoral fraud and make auditing elections nearly impossible. “They could fix this today if they wanted,” Vetter added, calling for the BOE to publish accurate voter lists and secure the data.
The allegations have quickly been seized upon by Republican figures, who argue that this incident validates their long-standing claims of systemic election fraud, particularly against former President Donald Trump. Michigan, a key swing state, was at the center of Trump’s 2020 election challenges after he lost to Joe Biden by 154,000 votes, a margin of 3 percentage points. A 2021 report by the Republican-led Michigan Senate Oversight Committee found no evidence of widespread fraud in the 2020 election, but Trump and his allies have continued to push for investigations, often citing irregularities in voter rolls as evidence of malfeasance.
Benson, a Democrat who has served as Michigan’s Secretary of State since 2019, has not yet publicly responded to the allegations. Her office has faced prior criticism from Republicans over voter roll maintenance, with some accusing her of failing to remove inactive voters, a charge her administration has denied, pointing to regular updates in compliance with state law. The current controversy, however, raises new concerns about transparency and accountability, especially as Michigan prepares for future elections, including the 2026 midterms.
For Republicans, the erased voter histories are seen as part of a pattern of electoral misconduct that disproportionately harms their candidates. The Gateway Pundit’s post echoed this sentiment, with some calling for Benson’s prosecution and others questioning why such issues seem to persist in Democratic-led states. Republican losses in Arizona and other battleground states, Trump’s 2024 victories were undermined by “usual games” in down-ballot races.
As the debate rages on, the lack of accurate voter history data in Michigan remains a pressing issue. Without a transparent and reliable voter roll, public trust in the electoral process, already strained by years of partisan battles, may erode further. Whether Benson’s office will address these allegations with concrete action remains to be seen, but for now, Michigan’s voter rolls have once again become a flashpoint in the nation’s ongoing struggle over election integrity.

as per Some demand: on polish romantic literature, the depiction of russians, and world serpent of honkai impact 3rd fame. apologies if this is very unorganized but its all just things i was thinking about while distracted in class and not TERRIBLY serious analysis
so before i begin. im very sorry if i get Some details wrong because the main piece i’m using for comparison, dziady (część III) by adam mickiewicz, is something ive read a While ago and in all honesty did not feel like rereading just for this as its just general thoughts. i przy okazji przepraszam że postuję o mickiewiczu ale jest on najlepszym kontekstem do sytuacji mam nadzieję że mi wybaczycie.
anyway. to give non-polish people a bit of context: dziady (część III) was written by mickiewicz during his time in russia, after being exiled from his home country (poland, lithuania, or belarus, depending on who you ask). most of the work is centered around what is means to “fight for independence” (as this was a time when poland was under russian occupation, and didnt technically. Exist. mickiewicz’s nationality is a topic of discussion even today, but thats a whole another topic so i wont get into it), why the nation has to suffer, if this was god’s plan, a fighter vs a poet vs a "traitor" during a country's fall etc etc but that’s not what i’m going to focus on here.
the main thing i want to touch on, as you might’ve guessed by the first paragraph, is the depiction of the russian General Populace- specifically, petersburg’s. there’s a couple of relatively well-known scenes from this work but the one most relevant here is ustęp. i could not find an english translation available online for free and, seeing as even its relevant fragments are Quite Long, did not feel like translating them myself (sorry). but there’s two main ones to look at: petersburg and do przyjaciół moskali.
petersburg shows the vision of russians as very… individualistic. walking among the street are different social classes: the tsar and tsaritsa, a military general showing off his battle-earned awards despite the cold, low ranked soldiers, women in expensive fur coats and colorful hats, wealthy people getting into their carriages; and the poor, freezing and hungry, but still talking about how honored they are to see their “superiors”. they arent bad at heart, but theyre passive, uncaring of how both other nations and even other russians suffer under the tsar’s tyrannical rule, as long as they, themselves, aren’t inconvenienced.
do przyjaciół moskali (to [my] friends muscovites) is less of a narrative part as it is the musings of mickiewicz himself, remembering the cold and unfeeling faces of russians that exiled him, killed and imprisoned his friends and other people, all for the purpose of not having to deal with any problems themselves- no matter if they ruined someone else’s life. however, as he talks with hate about the powers over them, it’s not the people himself he curses out- rather, he wishes that they were free, and brave enough to do something instead of becoming co-perpetrators.
so, tldr: in this work (and many, many others; this sentiment is present throughout a lot of polish literature from romanticism onwards) the russian people are depicted as not inherently evil by themselves, but rather unwilling to fight back against the oppressor that is their own government, oftentimes even reveling in it (the so-called “heroism of captivity”); that, or being just entirely ignorant of their homeland's crimes.
another theme that is integral to this work is messianism of the polish nation- supposedly, the reason why Everything Just Keeps Going Wrong For Us is because god has a plan in which the polish have to suffer, so that nobody else has to, directly paralleling jesus.
BUT. to get into the part in which i actually start talking about honkai. what i’ve been thinking about is that the way world serpent agents are depicted in the game is actually quite similar?
taking raven herself as an example- first of all, she is Actually Literally Russian but that doesn’t matter here. so before mei joins world serpent, raven is this Mysterious Evil person, working for a Mysterious Evil organisation. she’s cold and ruthless and doesn’t hesitate to carry out her mission if it means getting a paycheck. and then lament of the fallen happens, and mei is in world serpent, and natasha is this. still not a Warm person, yeah? but she’s passionate about being a bartender, and takes care of the roost. simple woman just trying to survive. she’s not a perfect example, of course- she did leave world serpent at a point, only coming back when she realized her other paychecks just simply aren’t enough to sustain both her and the kids- but she’s still a mercenary. she kills people for money. not a bad person, just forced into a terrible situation due to something out of her control- but nowhere near a morally pure one, either. (which i’m very happy about, because that would be boring).
but, if you want to dig deeper, there’s the gray serpents themselves, as well- cold in both the metaphorical AND the literal sense, being machines and all. this one speaks for itself, i think? emotionless and unwilling to compromise, only caring to serve their purpose while continuing the flame chasers', namely mobius’s, legacy. but even the serpents themselves are individuals- they have their own personalities, and interests, even while being mass produced drones. but, like the russians in dziady, theyre mostly focused on themselves- pretty well seen with the serpent present in the beginning of salt snow holy city arc (disconnected from the thing keeping him alive, just because the majority would be better off on their own, with no regard of what would happen to the less fortunate ones).
but, to touch on the previously mentioned messianism- in honkai, that could be attributed to anyone not belonging to ws, especially in arc city and during project stigma- bearing the burden of being, in a smaller or larger degree, sacrificed for some twisted definition of the “greater good”.
additionally, one of the characters who cooperate with world serpent while not being its part is cocolia, who is russian; the person who (albeit accidentally) gets kevin out of the sea of quanta is seele, raised in russia; and misteln, an important part of carrying out project stigma, was not only “created” in siberia, but also approached by the serpents, and recruited, exactly there.
i don’t think i have a good conclusion for this one? as i said, just general thoughts on a topic i found interesting. i’m sure there’s more that could be said here but that’s what comes to mind ^-^
#idk if this makes sense and if it isnt just Actually Insane but. here it is.#i should make an analysis post tag uhmmmm uh#okay im basic.#lonnie ramble tag#should i put it in main tags.#honkai impact 3rd#honkai impact#hi3rd

✝️ PRIEST RUKI MUKAMI HEADCANONS ✝️
“Such an irrational world we live in, revering the Gods for their saving grace. But they’re all wrong—all so horribly mistaken. Only humans are to blame for their own misfortune, only humans can wallow in their own evil and corruption. After all, if your so-called ‘God’ existed… Then why won’t he save you now? Ah, that’s right—God never existed anyway.”
🛐 As revealed in the games themselves, Ruki previously adhered to the religious practices of his original family as a human child, celebrating holidays such as as Christmas and even going as far as to pray before a special meal. Contrary to the translation of his current last name, “Godless” or “without/no god,” one would be remiss in assuming he always upheld atheist ideals.
🛐 Ironically enough, his priesthood only confirms the Vampire’s lack of faith. The not-so-divine envoy holds gatherings in a secluded chapel, sanctuary to those seeking to scrutinize the Bible through the lens of literary analysis akin to any other scholarly work. Aside from its religious context, Priest Ruki deems the Bible a text rich with narrative style and allegorical elements the likes of which few modern compositions can ever mirror.
🛐 Not only has he memorized every single verse, both in the Old and New Testaments, but also Ruki has committed every translation of the Bible to memory since they all differ drastically in their poetic value. Personally, his focus lies within the realms of the book of Genesis, particularly centered around the captivating tale of Adam and Eve—as well as the mesmerizing influence exerted upon them by the cunning serpent.
🛐 Despite how impartial he is to any deity in general, Priest Ruki somehow manages to captivate any congregation to whom he preaches, likening the story of Adam and Eve, the serpent’s deceit, and their exile from Eden to contemporary life that all individuals deeply relate to on some level or another. When he speaks of how the serpent tempted Eve to eat the forbidden fruit in particular, there is this subtle yet undeniable hint of nostalgia in his eyes, almost as if he has experienced the tribulation of the snake who was forced to crawl on its belly and eat dust for the remainder of its existence.
🛐 Much like the cunning serpent, Ruki was once viewed as a mere tool used by a higher yet external force to carry out his agenda. In hindsight, one could argue the serpent, too, was manipulated, similarly to the naïve and gullible Eve. Despite being known for its knowledge, wisdom, and ultimately the facilitation of profound change, it undoubtedly had its faults; a sentiment Ruki resonates with even in the role of a Priest.
🛐 After every sermon, Ruki might invite you to stay a while longer in the chapel to confess what plagues your mind to him, akin to the catalyst of growth that the serpent once was. In spiritual guidance, after all, there is growth to be discovered in oneself. By listening to and allaying your worries, the seemingly gentle Priest convinces you to confide in him.
🛐 However, not once does he advocate for God or a higher being. His guidance is sincere and considerate for each predicament, exuding unwavering dependability in each counsel and piece of advice provided to the churchgoer.
🛐 Given his natural charm and reliability, eventually the Priest convinces you to partake in a baptism, the ultimate ritual of “purification.” The supposed forgiveness of one’s sins, the washing away of every impurity.
🛐 Before submerging you in the water, however, Ruki gives almost too sinister of a smile unfitting of any priest, betraying any of his earlier guidance, and most importantly of all, belying his true nature.
🛐 It’s as though he is a little too excited to convert you into a full-fledged member of his church.
🛐 The aquatic embrace of the baptism begins weigh upon you longer than necessary, suffocating you as a calloused hand presses down on your chest, immobilizing you as Ruki discloses a confession of his own to you.
🛐 “Everything I have accomplished and obtained for myself… Those were no miraculous work of God. No, those were all earned through my own merit. No amount of preaching, believing, or even praying can improve your wretched existence. All the confessions…? All the sermons? Just a ploy to purify you as my Livestock, lesser still a human. Yes, struggle and resist all you’d like… It only excites me more.”
🛐 Abruptly, Ruki raises you from the water to reveal the full extent of his true self as a demon of the night rather than an envoy of the divine as his fangs find purchase in your moistened shoulder.
🛐 Cloying ichor cascades from the newly inflicted punctures marring your once unblemished flesh, much to Ruki’s satisfaction as he lodges himself deeper with a pleased grunt.
🛐 Atramentous, plumose wings that parallel the darkness of his tormented soul seemingly sprout from his back as he tears into the sweet adipose. Rather than a purification, it is exactly the opposite; Ruki taints you as his own, dragging you down to the depths of Hell in your agony rather than the ethereal heights of paradise.
🛐 One curious quality his bites and his sermons share in common is that it invites and beguiles you for more, just like the serpent of Eden, just like the forbidden fruit enticed Eve. And, likewise, your blood allures Ruki with each vehement descent of his sharp fangs.
🛐 With each punishment, with each draining of your life essence, Ruki reiterates that no higher deity can rescue you from this fate in the “church.” Every day, he sees to it that you care for the anything but sacred place of worship, and little do the regular churchgoers realize, there is someone amongst their ranks being sacrificed daily.
🛐 Behind a gentle and soothing smile lurks the pearlescent daggers that pierce into you every night, spilling said sacrifice, tempting you to such an extent that would make Eve’s betrayal look like a mere, second-guessed impulse.
“Repent for your sins, Livestock, for they will only accumulate.”

#diabolik lovers#ruki mukami#mukami ruki#ruki mukami headcanons#mukami ruki headcanons#diabolik lovers headcanons#(( i apologize for being inactive as of late ))#(( work has been picking up for me ))#(( but i hope to reply to my dms and asks and other replies soon ))#(( please enjoy this silly post in the meantime ))#(( thank you rox for the inspiration ))#(( kino is jesus but ruki fulfills the corruption kink we all have- ))

Smarter Support: How AI is Enhancing Call Center Operations
Introduction
The call center industry has long been a critical component of customer service, bridging the gap between businesses and consumers. However, with growing customer expectations and an increasing volume of inquiries, traditional call center models have struggled to keep pace. The integration of Artificial Intelligence (AI) has emerged as a game-changer, transforming call center operations into more efficient, cost-effective, and customer-centric platforms.
The Role of AI in Call Centers
AI-powered technologies are revolutionizing call centers by automating repetitive tasks, enhancing customer interactions, and improving overall operational efficiency. AI-driven solutions, such as chatbots, virtual assistants, speech analytics, and predictive analytics, have redefined how businesses handle customer support.
AI-Powered Chatbots and Virtual Assistants
One of the most significant AI-driven innovations in call centers is the deployment of chatbots and virtual assistants. These AI systems can handle a vast range of customer queries without human intervention, providing instant responses and reducing wait times. Unlike traditional interactive voice response (IVR) systems, modern AI-powered assistants use natural language processing (NLP) to understand and respond to customer inquiries in a conversational manner.
Key benefits of AI chatbots include:
24/7 availability, ensuring customers receive support at any time.
Reduced workload for human agents, allowing them to focus on complex queries.
Consistent and accurate responses, minimizing the risk of misinformation.
Speech Analytics and Sentiment Analysis
AI-driven speech analytics enables call centers to analyze customer interactions in real-time. By processing voice data, AI can detect customer sentiment, stress levels, and even emotional cues. This information helps agents tailor their responses appropriately, improving the overall customer experience.
Advantages of speech analytics include:
Identifying dissatisfied customers for proactive engagement.
Improving agent performance through real-time coaching and feedback.
Enhancing compliance monitoring by ensuring adherence to scripts and regulatory guidelines.
Predictive Analytics and AI-Driven Insights
Predictive analytics is another powerful AI application in call centers. By analyzing historical data and customer behavior, AI can anticipate customer needs and suggest appropriate responses. This enables businesses to personalize interactions and proactively address potential issues before they escalate.
Benefits of predictive analytics include:
Reducing call volumes by predicting and resolving issues before they arise.
Enhancing customer satisfaction through proactive outreach.
Optimizing workforce management by forecasting call volume trends and staffing needs.
Intelligent Call Routing
AI enhances call routing by ensuring customers are connected to the most suitable agents based on their queries, language preferences, and past interactions. Intelligent call routing minimizes wait times and improves first-call resolution rates.
Advantages of intelligent call routing include:
Faster issue resolution by directing calls to the right agents.
Improved customer satisfaction through personalized interactions.
Increased efficiency by reducing call transfers and wait times.
Automated Quality Assurance
Traditionally, call center quality assurance (QA) required manual review of call recordings. AI-driven QA systems automate this process by analyzing every interaction for compliance, tone, and resolution effectiveness. AI ensures that quality standards are consistently met without the need for extensive human oversight.
Benefits of automated QA include:
Faster and more accurate evaluation of agent performance.
Identification of training opportunities to enhance service quality.
Increased compliance with industry regulations and best practices.
Challenges of AI Implementation in Call Centers
Despite its numerous benefits, AI adoption in call centers comes with challenges. These include:
Integration with Legacy Systems: Many call centers operate on outdated infrastructure that may not seamlessly integrate with AI solutions.
Data Privacy and Security Concerns: AI systems rely on large amounts of data, raising concerns about data protection and compliance with privacy regulations.
Customer Resistance to AI: Some customers prefer human interactions over automated responses, necessitating a balanced approach to AI deployment.
Initial Implementation Costs: While AI can reduce long-term operational costs, the initial investment in AI technology can be significant.
The Future of AI in Call Centers
The future of AI in call centers is promising, with continuous advancements in machine learning, NLP, and automation technologies. Businesses will increasingly adopt AI-powered solutions to enhance customer experiences while optimizing operational efficiency. Emerging trends include:
Hyper-Personalization: AI will analyze vast amounts of customer data to deliver highly personalized interactions.
Augmented Agents: AI will work alongside human agents, providing real-time suggestions and insights to improve response quality.
AI-Driven Self-Service: More businesses will adopt AI-powered self-service portals, reducing the need for direct agent interactions.
Conclusion
AI is revolutionizing call center operations by improving efficiency, reducing costs, and enhancing customer satisfaction. From chatbots and speech analytics to predictive insights and intelligent call routing, AI-driven solutions are setting new standards in customer support. While challenges remain, businesses that strategically implement AI in their call centers will gain a competitive edge in delivering smarter, faster, and more personalized customer service experiences.
Summary:-

part 2 of the zhongchi-sunturine analysis !
i think i might've gone too far... (part 1 here)
so, childe and aven character parallels.
first, unpredictable characters in high positions of power who’s accomplished crazy things despite their backgrounds. they’re notorious for what they do, and have an appearance of being very extreme in what they indulge in. see childe’s lust for battles and aven’s liking for gambles. both remarked to be very dangerous and not a “good guy” - and they rarely acted otherwise. regarding their extremeness, childe’s said to like battles that skirt close to death while aven always went on high-stake gambles with his life on the line. and they both had expressed at one point that they enjoyed the thrill of it.
both have this reference to being the eye of the storm (for aven it’s sigonia’s description) and is always at the center of something big as a result of their m.o. of bigger battles, bigger gambles. both put on a performance and facade - it’s clear with aven but there’s reference in childe’s character story that he wears physical as well as figurative armor to the outside world, one we saw him briefly dropping in the quest with teucer. that despite his straightforward nature that was repeatedly mentioned, his boss song is called “neverending performance”. both he and aven were said to be unpredictable in what they do, and on a meta level this is true as well - they exhibit self-contradicting traits due to how extreme their usual “performances” are. childe’s a caring brother who loves his family, has very normal and tame interests beside that One Thing and if not for his mission, is normal on his morals as well (would not hurt the weak, does not terrorize his subordinates). aven’s also a brother who loves his family, has a somewhat normal life beside the One Thing (he has pets, lives like a workaholic corporate slave) and despite looking crazy, has decent morals (does care about other people, does not pull his subordinates into his stunts). these things contrast quite a bit with the impression they give from their rumors, because they both have a front or rather one very noticeable aspect of their identity that made them into the chaotic individual they seem. for childe it is fighting, and for aven it is gambling.
for someone so concerned with staying alive and protecting his family, childe is too into cutting his life short by gaining powers and fighting battles that should be out of his league. he has this reckless vibe and wants to “conquer the world” - twisted by his time in the abyss, but his normal side never really died. aven has never forgotten his sister’s words to treasure his own life and embrace the unfairness of reality, yet he lives while constantly risking his life and hating on his luck and destiny as a whole. he’s cynical and all about using others and being used, twisted by what he had to do to survive, but still holds onto past sentiments. they both find themselves tied to an organization that don’t quite accept them (childe’s nature doesn’f fit with the fatui and he dislikes the other harbingers, for his methods and background aven’s disliked by his colleagues too) but still contribute to the best of their abilty, with their agency in it a bit questionable. if childe’s unable to leave the fatui bcs pulcinella has his family, then aven’s bound to the ipc the same manner as that mark on his neck. they wouldn’t call it like that, but how much was it their choice exactly ?
childe indulges in battles, aven indulges in gambles, but it’s both what they had to do to survive. and people adapt to survive.
death flags 😂 childe talking about staying alive, his foul legacy possibly draining his life with every use, abyss powers (delusion as well) supposedly just kill normal people. aven and his plan to bring about (his own) death in penacony (not even a flag anymore) 😭.
their boss fight being somehow linked to a performance, which i guess reflects the gist of their character in a way. childe’s challenge and an all-out fight - his life is just battles after battles, and it’s like a performance that never ends. aven’s fight is a performance, another show another gamble. all the gambling in that fight represents his life, the bet underlying the big show that was going on. the foul legacy is strong and seeks to conquer, aventurine of stratagems is strong and seeks to win. perhaps the transformation is a representation of the persona they have been playing all this time.
this has gone on long enough… in terms of dynamics there’s only speculation as both pairs didn’t have much interaction outside their roles in the “plan”. zhongli and childe were close associates and might have been friends before the fallout, but in hindsight they were enemies all along (childe was there to wreck liyue and zhongli knew exactly that). sunday and aven seemed civil from their meeting in the lobby, but they were enemies throughout as well. both pairs contrast well within themselves (this will never end if i start on zhongchi contrasts but it’s there and it’s one of the reasons why the ship’s so popular) and have enough interesting chemistry due to their opposing traits that it would just write itself.
also cool note that they’re both the main characters of the region quest. liyue was all about fighting off fatui and rex lapis’s final contract, and penacony was about “death” and the order’s plan. in the quest, the leader of “order” had allowed a chaotic agent to go free and cause things to happen in their territory - zhongli bcs it was part of the plan, and sunday bcs he had shackled aven and was using the distraction anyway. one seeks to control, the other seeks to ruin. they had both let someone who was like their antithesis bring chaos where they had been ruling with order.
and after all that, they both want to see the other again… but is it reciprocated ? now that’s a story for fanfics 😂
...
okay i think i’m crazy and this is kind of a stretch but hear me out.
the biggest difference between zhongchi and sunturine interaction in canon is that for the most part of the quest, the former is portrayed as friends/ close associates while the latter is direct opposition. but if you think about it… friends and enemies are two sides of the same coin right ? the liyue reveal didn’t turn zhongchi into enemies, they were associates before and after the reveal. logically childe got mad bcs he was tricked - something he didn’t like - and since he wanted a fight with zhongli, it’s not like he didn’t want to see zhongli again. the “enemy” was part of the trick, so in that sense he was mad about unexpected behaviour from a person whom he didn’t have full understanding on. aven was the same - they remained enemies throughout, but aven had been mad bcs sunday did something he didn’t like - dig into his mind - and it was unexpected bcs it was knowledge only within the family. they both have elements of surprise, childe being shocked that he was tricked by his associate, aven not thinking his enemy could look into his mind. and if we go even further… the shock that childe’s “enemy” was not an actual enemy, the shock that aven’s “enemy” helped clear the park for him. because at the end of the day, childe thought there would be a battle but if he was only part of the plan, and aven thought there would be punishment and obstacles to his goal, but he too was only part of the plan.
of course, sunday didn’t have it all in control like he made it seem like and unlike zhongchi he actually clashed with aven - but that’s just what enemies do, like zhongchi arranging a meal. as far as the order’s plan went, he had full control - all he needed was to keep an eye on aven before ena’s dream. he didn’t even need to do that, the stone was in his hand regardless, he just wanted to face off and defeat aven 😅 same with zhongli not needing to be close to childe and still happened anyway. ah yes, it had hurt for childe bcs a friend tricked him, and it had hurt for aven bcs an enemy read his mind. it was natural for zhongchi to have gotten close, and inevitable for childe to get hurt bcs zhongli was a friend and he didn’t know zhongli. it was natural as well for sunturine to have pushed each other to the limit, and inevitable that aven would get hurt bcs sunday was an enemy and he didn’t know sunday. the point was, they were both quite involved with each other (friends/ enemies) before plot demanded that one must get hurt due to the other and there would be surprises (my friend tricked me, there was no real enemy / my enemy read my mind, i’m being helped by the enemy). at the end there’s onesided beef… in this way, zhongchi and sunturine are quite similar in canon.

The Perception of the Divine - I
God created Man and not Man God; consequently, God defined Man and not Man God. That is why Man sensed God, perceived the Divine, and acted accordingly within the spiritual and the material universes. Due to the first fall of Man, this sense and this perception were gravely impaired. Because of this situation, the early men started developing faculties in order to catch up with what they had missed but to no avail. These faculties, which we now identify as the basics of civilization, were truly unnecessary and they only resulted in further falls.
If we consider the original sin as an infidelity, the so-called 'human civilization' was constructed on unrequested powers, skills and intelligence. This invalid, counterfeit intelligence is what exactly we read in the First Epistle to the Corinthians (3:19; ἡ γὰρ σοφία τοῦ κόσμου τούτου μωρία παρὰ τῷ Θεῷ ἐστιν / Sapientia enim hujus mundi, stultitia est apud Deum): "For the wisdom of this world is foolishness in God's sight".

Texts and representations from the scene related to the Weighing of the Heart of Ani, which took place in the Hall of Judgment (from the Papyrus of Ani); Ani and his wife Tutu (lower section, left) enter the realm of the Divine. At center, Anubis, in kneeling position, weighs Ani's heart (left plate of the scale) against the feather of Maat (right plate of the scale). He is observed by the divine forces Renenutet, Meshkenet, and Shay, as well as by Ani's own Ba (lower spiritual body which is depicted as a bird with human head). At the right end, Ammut, intending to devour Ani's soul if his heart is proven sinful, awaits the verdict. Identified as the Divine Wisdom, Thoth (with human body and the head of the bird ibis) prepares to record it. In the upper section, all supreme aspects of the Divine act as judges: (from left to right) Hu and Sia, Hathor, Horus, Isis and Nephthys, Nut, Geb, Tefnut, Shu, Atum, and Ra-Horakhty. Written by the Theban scribe Ani -for the preparation of his life in the Hereafter- in the first half of the 13th c. BCE, the Papyrus of Ani was discovered in 1888 in Luxor by the English Egyptologist Sir E. A. Wallis Budge and smuggled to the British Museum. It is a 24 m long scroll that has a width of 33 cm; the monumental document needed three volumes to be duly published (introductory analysis; transcription and translation; facsimile reproduction),
Yet, this conclusion is nothing more than the true essence of Ea's advice to Adapa (the First Human) according to the Ancient Sumerian/Assyrian-Babylonian sacred text "Adapa and the South Wind":
«At the door of Anu, Tammuz and Gishzida are standing, "they will see thee, they will ask thee; 'Sir,' For whose sake dost thou so appear, Adapa? For whom Art thou clad in a mourning garment?' 'In our country two gods have vanished, therefore Am I so.' 'Who are the two gods, who in the land Have vanished?' 'Tammuz and Gishzida.' They will look at one another and Be astonished. Good words».
In other words, in the original Paradise, there would never be any 'civilization'. Then, the quest for the original perception of the Divine is a direct, straightforward and conscious rejection of all the human cultures and civilizations. Quite unfortunately for them, all those who intend to stick to their traditions and cultures, by so doing, they bring the total collapse of the human civilization closer. This is apparently so because their civilization is flawed and putrefied, their faith nonexistent, and their perception of the Divine dishonest and erroneous.

Introduction
The modern Western (in fact: Western European) world, which by means of military, political, economic, academic, intellectual, educational, religious, cultural and spiritual colonization invaded and (by so doing) desecrated the rest of the world, has been based on a peremptory, 'humanist' assumption, an arbitrary, detrimental rejection of the pre-Renaissance world, a baseless, yet unprecedented historical revisionism, and a self-determination to deliberately define God. Within this vicious and calamitous context, which precipitates the total annihilation of the mankind, there is absolutely no place for perception of the Divine.
Nonetheless, it has been inevitable that several humans managed to liberate themselves from today's destitute, fake and corrupted religions, absurd and nonsensical philosophies, and various other schemes, theories and ideologies in order to find their true inner selves and in the process perceive the Divine.
In today's world, there is no self-definition of Man. This is so because the peremptory concept of Humanism constitutes an unfounded dogma and the foundation of all posterior conclusions, considerations and theories. Any spiritual-intellectual attempt to question the validity of the 'humanist' absurdity results instantaneously in utterly dictatorial persecution, hysterical rejection, and fanatical, systematized defamation. Yet, the insanity of 'Humanism' leads straight to the eradication of mankind.
As a matter of fact, for every civilization and culture, the self-definition of Man was never the first priority in terms of ancestral narratives, meditation, rumination and world view; on the contrary, the definition of God was the central, fundamental task. We do not exist of our own; we live because God created us. Contrarily to Him, we cannot say "I am who I am" (אֶֽהְיֶ֖ה אֲשֶׁ֣ר אֶֽהְיֶ֑ה; ἐγώ εἰμι ὁ ὤν; ego sum qui sum / Exodus 3:14). https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/I_Am_that_I_Am
Similarly, and more authoritatively than the Torah, the Assyrian-Babylonian sacred text of Enuma Elish (the world's paramount 'Genesis' or 'Cosmogony') in its 3rd and 4th verses stipulates the following: «apsûm-ma rēštû zārûšun; mummu Tiamat muallidat gimrišun» {Naught but primordial Apsu, their begetter, (and) Mummu Tiamat, she who bore them all / as per the transliteration in P. Talon, The Standard Babylonian Creation Myth: Enūma eliš; Helsinki, 2005}.
https://ia600707.us.archive.org/16/items/Holy-Books/EnumaElish.pdf
Everything, every aspect of the Divine, every later name of God or aspect of God depended on the primordial Apsu and Tiamat, the names of God before Creation. In the World History's first and foremost holy text, the narrative of the Creation starts before the Creation. After the original moments of Becoming are stipulated, all the rest follows. In other words, only because humans defined God first, they were able to determine who they were at a second stage. But to define God, men had to perceive the Divine at an earlier moment.
I. Man: soul, body, and character
In this brief presentation, I don't intend to expand on the perception of the Divine of the Ancient Sumerians, Akkadians, Assyrians-Babylonians and Egyptians, thus composing a historico-religious monograph. On the contrary, I will use material and concepts, methods and approaches of the Ancient Mesopotamian monotheists, which can help today's people to best question and ultimately refute the prevailing, absurd and preposterous definition of the Divine, which has become good reason for the mankind's decay.
There cannot be mental, sentimental or sensual perception of the Divine. The brain, the heart, and the solar plexus are parts of the human body that function at the very intersection of the soul and the body within every human being; however, they still generate material functions. Through these means a human obtains perception of the material universe. However, only the human soul creates spiritual functions, and it is only through one's soul that a man can perceive the spiritual universe, the Divine, and God. In brief, there is only spiritual perception of the spiritual world.
Because the dissociation between the human soul and the human body is the result of the successive falls of mankind, today's man has lost the originally inherent ability to establish a complete synergy between the soul and the body. Many misinformed and disoriented people, who believe in the existence of the human soul and the spiritual universe, think that the thoughts, the ideas, the theories, the sentiments, the desires and the passions constitute the soul, but that's very wrong.
As driving force of life, the soul is entirely different from the body; it does however permeate the human body and, to enable the human being's major functions at the material level, it forms particular junctures within the body in the heart, the brain, and the solar plexus. At best, which means before all the Falls, the three junctures (or intersections) are totally empty, and ethereal vitality keeps the human being in perfect synergy between the soul and the body.
The electromagnetic flow is thus exemplarily processed, being uninterrupted and unabsorbed by the various, unnecessary debris formed during cases of traumatic experience. Then, this man is well-lit and bright, able to emit light, and transform his eye into a lantern for his body; this is the meaning of Jesus' famous hint "The eye is the lamp of the body. If your eyes are healthy, your whole body will be full of light" (Ὁ λύχνος τοῦ σώματός ἐστιν ὁ ὀφθαλμός· ἐὰν οὖν ὁ ὀφθαλμός σου ἁπλοῦς ᾖ, ὅλον τὸ σῶμά σου φωτεινόν ἔσται·; lucerna corporis est oculus si fuerit oculus tuus simplex totum corpus tuum lucidum erit; Matthew 6:22)
Quite contrarily, in the case of the man of the Fall, the three intersections are filled with unnecessary data, pieces of 'knowledge', amounts of worthless information, endless thoughts, considerations, theories, ideas, ideologies, sentiments and desires, not to mention passions and abominable calculations, which keep the human being captive of the worst enemies of mankind. In such cases, the soul is greatly affected and clearly condemned to damnation. These unfortunate and unsubstantiated beings have thus already become 'persons', overwhelmingly filling the part of their soul that we conventionally call 'subconscious' with collateral debris, which constitute an enormous burden for the soul and gradually force her to incapacity and castigation.
The intersections of the soul and the body (solar plexus, heart and brain) create what we come to know as the character of the human being; the character is the epitome of individuality. But a human being, i.e. an individual, should never become a 'person'. The character corresponds to what many mystics call conventionally 'lower spiritual body'; this is wrongly called 'astral body' (it has nothing to do with stars). Few days after the separation of the soul from the body (i.e. the 'death'), both, the material body and the lower spiritual body, start getting disintegrated.
Being aware of the intensified spiritual attack against the mankind and the increased number of sinful humans, modern mystics wanted to find a convenient and very conventional 'solution' of the problem. They therefore invented the childish theory of generalized reincarnation. It is certain that some souls can reincarnate; spiritually and materially, reincarnation is possible. Jesus spoke explicitly about that, referring to the Men of Nineveh, i.e. the Ancient Assyrians: "The men of Nineveh will stand up at the judgment with this generation and condemn it; for they repented at the preaching of Jonah, and now something greater than Jonah is here" (ἄνδρες Νινευῖται ἀναστήσονται ἐν τῇ κρίσει μετὰ τῆς γενεᾶς ταύτης καὶ κατακρινοῦσιν αὐτήν, ὅτι μετενόησαν εἰς τὸ κήρυγμα Ἰωνᾶ, καὶ ἰδοὺ πλεῖον Ἰωνᾶ ὧδε; viri ninevitae surgent in iudicio cum generatione ista et condemnabunt eam quia paenitentiam egerunt in praedicatione Ionae et ecce plus quam Iona hic; Matthew 12:41).
The generalized theory of reincarnation invalidates the purpose of the Creation. It is an absurdity according to which one human being can achieve perfection in three lives, another man in six lives, and a third person in nine lives; indeed, this is utterly blasphemous. If things had been arranged in this paranoid manner, God would have been snoring at the end station of this useless and otherwise comical process. Only pathetic ignorance and abject immorality can make someone think that the Moral Order does not matter and that the facts of spiritual reward and spiritual castigation are meaningless. Contrarily to this nonsensical scheme, for all early sacred texts, it matters greatly whether the Moral Order is maintained and respected by all humans or not. Without Order there is no Creation; breaching the universal Order is an act that destroys some part of the universe. That is why reward and castigation are consequential, instantaneous and inevitable.
In this regard, it is absolutely puerile to suggest that, since most humans were sinful, if we happen to believe that there will be reward for the innocent and punishment for the guilty, we will end up in a scarcely inhabited Paradise with few souls and in a densely populated Hell packed with the souls of sinners. I am absolutely convinced that this is a hypocritically childish response (pronounced in Modern times) to an inconsistent and unsophisticated sermon (given in Christian and Islamic times).
I cannot expand further here (as this article does not concern the Structure of the Spiritual Universe), but I have to point out that it is mere theological vanity to try to interpret terms like "eternal life" and 'eternal fire" within the context of life of the Fallen Man. Sacred texts that use similar terms apparently give figurative sense to several terms that they use, since their readers will ostensibly be totally unable to fully and deeply comprehend them. I must therefore conclude that modern mystics' opposition to Christian-Muslim preachers is an intentional evildoing, although the latter clearly failed to accurately interpret their respective sacred texts.

"Without a change in mentalities, without entry into a post-media era, there can be no enduring hold over the environment. Yet, without modifications to the social and material environment, there can be no change in mentalities. Here, we are in the presence of a circle that leads me to postulate the necessity of founding an 'ecosophy' that would link environmental ecology to social ecology and to mental ecology…
From this ecosophic perspective, there would be no question of reconstituting a hegemonic ideology, as were the major religions or Marxism...Out of the capitalist chaos must come what I call 'attractors' of values: values that are diverse, heterogeneous, dissensual...An essential condition for succeeding in the promotion of a new planetary consciousness would thus reside in our collective capacity for the recreation of value systems that would escape the moral, psychological and social lamination of capitalist valorization, which is only centered on economic profit. The joy of living, solidarity, and compassion with regard to others, are sentiments that are about to disappear and that must be protected, enlivened, and propelled in new directions. Ethical and aesthetic values do not arise from imperatives and transcendent codes...
The suggestive power of the theory of information has contributed to masking the importance of the enunciative dimensions of communication. It leads us to forget that a message must be received, and not just transmitted, in order to have meaning. Information cannot be reduced to its objective manifestations; it is, essentially, the production of subjectivity, the becoming-consistent of incorporeal universes. These last aspects cannot be reduced to an analysis in terms of improbability and calculated on the basis of binary choices. The truth of information refers to an existential event occuring in those who receive it. Its register is not that of the exactitude of facts, but that of the significance of a problem, of the consistency of a universe of values. The current crisis of the media and the opening up of a post-media era are the symptoms of a much more profound crisis.
What I want to emphasize is the fundamentally pluralist, multi-centered, and heterogeneous character of contemporary subjectivity, in spite of the homogenization it is subjected to by the mass media. In this respect, an individual is already a "collective" of heterogeneous components. A subjective phenomenon refers to personal territories - the body, the self- but also, at the same time, to collective territories - the family, the community, the ethnic group. And to that must be added all the procedures for subjectivation embodied in speech, writing, computing, and technological machines...
Subjectivity is forged through multiple mediations, whereas individual relations between generations, sexes, and proximal groups have weakened. For example, the role of grandparents as an intergenerational memory suppon for children has very often disappeared. The child develops in a context shadowed by television, computer games, telecommunications, comic strips. A new machinic solitude is being born, which is certainly not without merit, but which deserves to be continually reworked such that it can accord with renewed forms of sociality. Rather than relations of opposition, it is a matter of forging polyphonic interlacings between the individual and the social. Thus, a subjective music remains to be thereby composed."

Call Center Analytics and Reporting: Unlocking Insights for Improved Performance
In today's fast-paced business landscape, call centers play a vital role in providing excellent customer service and driving business growth. However, managing a call center efficiently requires more than just handling customer queries and resolving issues. It requires a data-driven approach that leverages call center analytics and reporting to gain valuable insights and make informed decisions. In this article, we will explore the significance of call center analytics and reporting and how it can help unlock a call center's true potential.

The Power of Call Center Analytics
Call center analytics involves collecting, measuring, and analyzing data related to call center operations, customer interactions, and agent performance. By harnessing the power of analytics, organizations can gain deep insights into various aspects of their call center's performance, enabling them to make data-driven decisions and drive continuous improvements. Here are some key benefits of call center analytics:
1. Performance Evaluation
Call center analytics provides detailed metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs) that help evaluate the performance of agents, teams, and the overall call center. By monitoring metrics like average handle time, first call resolution, customer satisfaction scores, and service level agreement adherence, managers can identify areas for improvement and implement targeted training programs to enhance agent performance.
2. Customer Experience Enhancement
An exceptional customer experience is crucial for customer satisfaction and loyalty. Call center analytics allows organizations to analyze customer interactions, sentiment analysis, and customer feedback to identify patterns and trends. By understanding customer preferences, pain points, and expectations, call centers can personalize customer interactions, optimize workflows, and improve overall customer satisfaction.
3. Operational Efficiency
Call center analytics enables organizations to optimize their operational processes. By analyzing call volumes, peak hours, call routing patterns, and average wait times, managers can identify bottlenecks and optimize resource allocation. This leads to improved call routing, reduced waiting times, and enhanced agent productivity.
4. Predictive Insights
With advanced analytics techniques, call centers can move beyond historical data and gain predictive insights. By using techniques like forecasting and trend analysis, call centers can anticipate call volumes, staffing requirements, and potential customer issues. This proactive approach helps in planning resources effectively and reducing response times, resulting in better customer experiences.
The Role of Call Center Reporting
Call center reporting complements analytics by providing a structured format to present and communicate insights effectively. Reporting allows call center managers and stakeholders to access relevant information, track performance trends, and make data-driven decisions. Here's how call center reporting contributes to improved call center operations:
1. Real-Time Monitoring
Real-time call center reporting provides up-to-date information on call volumes, wait times, agent availability, and other key metrics. Managers can monitor live dashboards and make instant adjustments to meet service level agreements and ensure optimal customer service. Real-time reporting also helps identify emerging issues and respond promptly.
2. Performance Transparency
Call center reporting enhances transparency by providing visibility into agent and team performance. Managers can track individual and team KPIs, identify top performers, and recognize areas needing improvement. Transparent reporting fosters healthy competition among agents and encourages them to meet and exceed performance targets.
3. Data-Driven Decision Making
Call center reporting presents data in a clear and concise manner, enabling managers and stakeholders to make informed decisions. By accessing reports on agent productivity, customer satisfaction, and operational metrics, managers can identify trends, patterns, and areas for improvement. This empowers them to implement targeted strategies and optimize call center operations.
4. Compliance and Regulatory Requirements
Call center reporting plays a critical role in meeting compliance and regulatory requirements. By generating accurate and detailed reports on call recordings, call durations, and other relevant data, organizations can ensure adherence to legal and industry-specific regulations. This helps avoid penalties, maintain customer trust, and safeguard the organization's reputation.
Conclusion
Call center analytics and reporting provide organizations with invaluable insights to drive operational efficiency, enhance customer experiences, and improve agent performance. By leveraging the power of data, call centers can make data-driven decisions, optimize processes, and stay ahead in the competitive landscape. As call center operations continue to evolve, investing in robust analytics and reporting capabilities is no longer a luxury but a necessity for sustainable success.
