What gives you comfort when you’re most in need? Solitude and stillness is what I needed today; And my bedroom. Tie dyed curtains under lace, this was my comfort zone. 10 months since go to Heaven day

10 months. 10 months in the new chapter of my life as a widow. 10 months of changes in daily habits, financial management, responsibilities, decision making, everything. I’m a sole proprietor of What used to be a partnership with you Rod for our life together of Miller. It’s so different. It’s not a different I wanted, but a different I have. Life goes on, sometimes smoothly, some times roughly..but it goes on. I still seek comfort where there is none..some days I seek in food, some days I seek in buying, some days I’m sure it’s something else that I haven’t even identified yet. The sole comfort comes in prayer and meditation and knowing when I close my eyes and think of you, I have a very vivid image of you “right behind my eyes”. Even this comfort is fleeting though..I can’t go through life with my eyes closed. I miss you Rod. I miss our life together and all the other “misses” we shared in our time together on earth. You taught me so much In our 37 years together Rod, some by what to do, some by what not to do..all good now. I seek God more and more to know my purpose here on earth now that it’s no longer getting you to where you needed to go. I seek to “be of maximum service to God and to my fellows”, just like you used to pray. I love you Rodney, I will always love you and you will always be the love of my life. Always.

While here on earth we are trapped in dimensions of space and time. I believe You are free if that now Rod and time is irrelevant for your Spirit. You are on a new mission. I don’t know how all of that works, but I don’t have to. I ask God to bless you in your mission.

Father God,

I come to you this morning, 10 months after the death of my dear Rodney, grateful for the time we spent together here on earth and for all the things You taught me through him. Father I’m grateful for the comfort you give me through Prayer and meditation with You. Thankful that I can wear the cloak of the Holy Spirit to protect me and comfort me every day of my new life without my mate Rodney to help me. Thankful for the ultimate sacrifice of Your Son Jesus and that He rose from the dead, appeared to the Apostles and they they wrote their experiences down to be preserved for future generations. Thank you Father and Thank you Jesus. Father I ask that You bless Rodney in his new mission and give him everything I ever wanted for myself. I ask that you send Your Spirit to me to witness unto me what is truth, so that I may do Your Will always. I ask for the strength th endure. In Jesus’ name I pray, Amen. Sarah

Last minute update!

I arrived safe and sound in Louisville, visiting Chris, Rachael and Olivia. After tying to get my telephone number back and being told no, I had an intuitive thought to see if I could just could be added to Chris and Rachael’s family plan, and sure enough, for only 20 USD per month, I was able to be added. Then, miracle of miracles, I was able to get my old telephone number! Thank you Rod! On this 10th anniversary, I think you had something to do with that! Thank you God!

I'm so annoyed.. like whenever I have an idea for a project in uni, I am kind of insecure about it and my retarded teachers make it even worse.
