The Beauty of "Fingertips" by Lana Del Rey. "Fingertips" is a stunning song by Lana Del Rey that perfectly captures feelings of longing and reflection. From the very beginning, the lines
When I look back Tracing fingertips over plastic bags Thinking: I wish I could extrapolate some small intention Or maybe just get your attention for a minute or two
Will I die Or will I get to that ten-year mark? Where I beat the extinction of telomeres And if I do, will you be there with me? Father, sister, brother
These words remind us of how we often long for connections, even in the simplest moments. I find that the song resonates with me during times when I’m reflecting on my own life and the people who have shaped me.
One line that really hits home is “Will I die? Or will I get to that ten year mark?” It stirs up so many emotions, making me confront the fragility of life and how precious our time truly is. It reminds me to cherish the connections I have, as they guide me in this chaotic world.
I’d love to hear your thoughts! What does "Fingertips" mean to you? Do you have any lines that resonate deeply?
Overall, "Fingertips" beautifully showcases Lana’s ability to turn complex emotions into something we can all relate to, encouraging us to embrace our memories and the people we hold dear.

Ambition
Running shoes, thin layers of clothes, mittens, headscarf, socks, seagulls, the moon setting on the shore.
Virtual, abstract, clear, firm warm wood floors, sun-dried linen, a full fridge, chamomile and oatmeal.
They close my tabs, get me through the motions: folding clothes, client service smile, sunrise journal, and class.
Open books, then close them up, sitting in front of a blank page. I stare; I cannot lie or get around. Another yearning aches, another yearning makes, leaking from my eyes, my mouth, my ears, from my bleeding fingertips.
Every word I hear, a song, a whisper, a scream of what it could be. What once hurt now types for me.
What once paradox, orthopraxy toast, ink wasted none, make every word count. Ink running out, clock ticking nonstop.
Just one more word, and someone finally hears, finally sees, what I so dearly hold, what I have long known.

Thinning the Veil: A Potent Week of Intuition, Clarity, and Powerful Releases
We just had a powerful one-two punch from the cosmos: the June solstice on Friday, June 21st, followed by a Capricorn full moon on Saturday, June 22nd.
What does this mean?
Some people might feel this energy more strongly than others. It's a time when the veil between worlds seems thinner, making it easier to connect with your intuition, spirit guides, and higher dimensions. This can bring about powerful insights and a deeper understanding of yourself. In the coming week, you might experience a surge of clarity.
Clarity and Release
Over the next week, you might experience a surge of clarity. Full moons are known for illuminating things that need to be released, like emotional blockages, limiting beliefs, or anything else holding you back. Don't be surprised if things come up that you haven't addressed before. Here's the key: don't try to fix everything right away. Simply acknowledge what comes up. Spend time meditating, journaling, or just reflecting. Recognizing these blocks is the first step to moving past them. If you feel you need extra support, don't hesitate to reach out for help.
As we move through this week, consider these questions:
What new insights have I gained?
What am I ready to acknowledge or release?
What areas of my life require more ownership?
Taking Ownership (Especially with a Capricorn Moon)
This Capricorn full moon encourages us to take responsibility for our lives. If you've been struggling with something, consider how you can step up and take ownership. Whether you do it alone or seek help, taking charge is a powerful way to move forward. Remember, this is all part of your personal growth journey.

Dear me, you'll be fine.
Dear me, this must sound strange, but I have read us from the past, and although it makes me a lot ashamed, between texts I feel your pain. I feel how you were still so fond of people, even the one who hurt you the most. I feel your pain, even as the years go by. It is sad, but at the same time I feel a great relief that we are no longer there, I am no longer there. My words written in tears in the wee hours of the morning are now only a reminder of what I felt and am no longer able to feel now. I empathize with you, and if I could I would hug you. It's been years now, and I know from first hand experience that no one has ever apologized to you, nor will they, so here it goes. I am sorry for all that has happened to you, all that you have cried in silence, all that you have suffered inside, all that you have had to keep quiet and that I know you will never talk about. Although I know that today what you once wrote may not hurt, that does not mean that it is no longer relevant or valid. But just know that everything is going to be okay. You will be fine.

Hitting the Wall: How to Break Down, Let Go, and Rise Again
Life has this funny way of pushing us until we’re stretched to our absolute limit. You know the feeling—you’re juggling a thousand things, handling everything like a pro, and then, one day, you hit that wall. It’s not a gentle nudge, it’s a full-body slam. You’re overwhelmed, exhausted, and suddenly, everything you’ve been keeping inside comes flooding out. It’s that moment where you just need to break down, cry, mourn, and process all the emotions you’ve been holding back. But here’s the thing: that breakdown isn’t the end. It’s the beginning of something important.
The Weight You Carry
For months, you’ve been handling it all. Maybe it’s the job, maybe it’s family responsibilities, or maybe it’s just life piling up in unexpected ways. You hold it together because that’s what you do—you manage, you solve problems, you push through. But there’s only so much you can handle before the weight becomes too much, and eventually, your body and mind start screaming, Enough!
That’s when you hit the wall. It doesn’t matter how strong you are; it happens to everyone. For some, it’s sudden—one bad day, one unexpected moment—and for others, it’s a slow build-up of pressure that finally cracks. But the breakdown comes, and it’s brutal.
Breaking Down: Why It’s Okay
In those moments, when you’re at your lowest, it can feel like you’ve failed somehow. Like you couldn’t keep it together, and you should’ve been able to handle more. But that’s not true. Breaking down is human. It’s your mind’s way of forcing you to pause, to stop pushing so hard, to take stock of everything you’ve been carrying.
So, if you find yourself in tears, feeling like you’ve hit rock bottom, understand this: those emotions you’ve been stuffing away need to be felt. Let yourself cry, mourn, and scream into a pillow if you have to. You’ve been so busy being strong that you’ve forgotten you’re allowed to fall apart. The release is necessary. It’s not weakness—it’s part of healing.
Mourning What You’ve Lost
Sometimes, when you hit that wall, it’s because you’ve lost something along the way. Maybe it’s a relationship, an opportunity, or even just a sense of who you are. When you’re constantly on the go, you don’t always have time to process those losses, so they sit in the back of your mind, weighing you down.
When you finally break down, it’s also a chance to mourn. And I don’t just mean grieving for things that are gone—I’m talking about mourning the version of yourself you’ve had to let go of to survive. Life changes us. It pulls us in directions we didn’t plan, and sometimes, that means leaving behind pieces of ourselves that we once held dear.
Give yourself the space to mourn that. To acknowledge the pain, the exhaustion, the frustration. You deserve that moment of reflection.
The Bounce-Back
Here’s the good part: once you’ve let it all out, once you’ve cried until you can’t cry anymore, something shifts. It doesn’t happen right away, but it happens. After the breakdown comes clarity. You start to see things for what they are—what’s truly important, what you can let go of, and what you can change.
And then, slowly but surely, you start to come back up. You get up off the floor, you wipe your face, and you take that first step forward. The weight starts to lift, and you realize that, yes, you’re still capable. You’re still strong. In fact, you’re stronger because you’ve allowed yourself to feel everything instead of pretending it’s not there.
Taking Care of Yourself Through It All
One thing I’ve learned is that self-care isn’t just about bubble baths and face masks. Sometimes, self-care is ugly. It’s allowing yourself to break down, to sit in the dark, to feel completely lost for a little while. And then, it’s making the decision to rise again.
Don’t be afraid to ask for help during those tough times, either. Whether it’s a friend, a therapist, or just someone who can listen, you don’t have to go through it alone. We all hit the wall eventually, and we all need someone to remind us that we can come back from it.
Moving Forward
So, if you’ve hit your wall, if you’ve broken down, and you’re wondering how to move forward, just know that you’re already doing it. The fact that you’ve acknowledged it, that you’ve let yourself release those emotions, is the first step in healing. You’ll come back up. You always do.

Welcome to Whispers Unwritten 🌸
What is this? Welcome to Whispers Unwritten—a space where unspoken thoughts, feelings, and words find a voice. We all have things we wish we could say, moments we wish we could revisit, and emotions that linger in our hearts. This project is here to capture those whispers and release them into the world, anonymously.
How does it work? It’s simple: if you have something on your mind that you never had the chance—or courage—to say, this is the place to let it out. Submit your message anonymously, and I’ll share it here. Your words will remain your own, but they’ll be shared with others who may understand exactly what you’re going through.
Why Whispers Unwritten? Sometimes, it’s easier to speak our truth when no one is listening directly, but the act of sharing can be cathartic. Whether it’s a love letter you never sent, an apology you never made, or just thoughts that you’ve kept to yourself, Whispers Unwritten is a safe space for all of it.
How to Submit:
Click the "Ask me anything" button at the top of this page.
Remember to keep it respectful—no hate speech or explicit content.
Messages are posted anonymously, and once submitted, they can't be edited or removed.
Guidelines:
Keep submissions under 200 words.
Avoid sharing any identifying details (last names, locations, etc.).
Be mindful and considerate of others—this is a safe space for everyone.
Thank you for being here and for sharing your whispers with us. Your words, thoughts, and feelings matter, and they may resonate with others in ways you never expected.
Let’s make this a space where the unsaid can finally be spoken, even if just in a whisper.
Start sharing your whispers now. 💌

Harmonizing Wellness: Exploring Healing with Tuning Forks Shaina Tranquilino April 12, 2024
In the vast symphony of holistic healing practices, tuning forks resonate as unique instruments, offering a melodious approach to wellness. Originating from ancient cultures and gaining modern recognition, the therapeutic use of tuning forks has surged in popularity. Let's embark on a journey to explore how these humble tools harness the power of sound to promote physical, emotional, and spiritual well-being.
The Science of Sound Healing: At its core, sound healing operates on the principle that everything in the universe, including our bodies, vibrates at specific frequencies. When these frequencies fall out of harmony, it can lead to dis-ease. Tuning forks, precision-calibrated instruments, emit pure frequencies that can recalibrate our body's natural vibrational state.
How it Works: When a tuning fork is struck against a surface, it produces a steady tone, vibrating at a specific frequency. When placed on or near the body, these vibrations travel through the body's tissues, influencing cellular rhythm and promoting balance. Each frequency corresponds to different aspects of our being, affecting physical, emotional, and spiritual realms.
Healing Benefits:
Stress Reduction: The gentle vibrations emitted by tuning forks help induce a state of deep relaxation, reducing stress and anxiety levels.
Pain Management: By stimulating the body's natural healing mechanisms, tuning forks can alleviate chronic pain and discomfort.
Emotional Release: Certain frequencies resonate with the emotional body, facilitating the release of stored emotions and promoting emotional well-being.
Enhanced Mental Clarity: Harmonizing frequencies can clear mental fog and improve focus and concentration.
Chakra Balancing: In Eastern medicine, it's believed that tuning forks can align and balance the body's energy centers (chakras), promoting overall vitality and balance.
Applications: Tuning forks find applications across various holistic practices:
Sound Therapy Sessions: Practitioners use tuning forks in individual or group sessions to promote healing and relaxation.
Massage Therapy: Incorporating tuning forks into massage sessions enhances the therapeutic effects, releasing tension and promoting deep relaxation.
Meditation and Yoga: Tuning forks can deepen meditative states and enhance the practice of yoga, fostering a deeper connection with the self and the universe.
Self-Care Practices: Individuals can use tuning forks for self-care rituals, promoting daily relaxation and stress relief.
In the bustling cacophony of modern life, finding moments of harmony and balance is essential for our well-being. Tuning forks offer a serene melody amidst the chaos, inviting us to tune into the healing frequencies of sound. Whether seeking relief from physical ailments, emotional turbulence, or simply striving for inner peace, the gentle vibrations of tuning forks resonate as a powerful tool for holistic healing. Embrace the symphony of wellness and let the soothing tones of tuning forks guide you on your journey to wholeness.

Quote Reflection: Girl in Pieces “I need release, I need to hurt myself more than the world can hurt me, and then I can comfort myself.” This quote from Charlie (a character from girl in pieces) is raw and deeply emotional. It shows the intense pain she is feels and the destructive coping mechanism she uses to deal with that pain. The need to inflict hurt on herself before the world can, almost as a way to regain control over her suffering.
I find this quote because it reflects a common feeling many experience when overwhelmed by emotional pain, the belief that self-inflicted hurt somehow grants a sense of control or comfort. It’s a desperate attempt to release the pressure inside, but the comfort is brief and often comes at a much higher cost.
Kathleen Glasgow uses this moment to show how self-harm can be connected to emotional release. It highlights how trauma can turn the need for comfort into something harmful. This shows the importance of finding healthier ways to cope with emotional pain
How does this quote resonate with you?
What are your thoughts on the way the book portrays self-harm as a response to trauma?
Feel free to share your reflections or interpretations.

Alas! 🫥 Emotional baggages are like past scars that we sometimes forget about. But when life gets shit-hit-fan-bleh or we have a big disagreement with someone, these old wounds can suddenly reopen. It's like when a friend is trying really hard to explain something important, and you both end up feeling angst. If you can work through that tension without blowing up, you might discover something good.
It's natural to want to pull away and think things over during dark times. This alone time helps us process what's going on is okay. It is not just about us as individuals; the whole world seems to be struggling with this cray cray energy 😓
Maybe the problems we face inside ourselves are connected to the problems happening around us. May we all heal our hurts with divine guidance 🦋
