Starbucks hacks that no one asked for

As a Starbucks customer, I know first hand how infuriating it is when you had a dairy substitute to something and it costs 60 cents more. It wastes my time to argue about it, and the barista's time to fight for it. Honestly, I'd rather keep my 60 cents so that i can drop it on the floor at the register of a target, while buying a new kitchen towel set for $160 (Its on sale, that makes it different), and leave it there because it's just change.

This issue plagues food service customers everywhere, and I for one think something needs to be done about it. Either make everything free or try to purge yourself of these unhappy thoughts when your service is disrupted by pesky fees that don't even make a dent in your Forever 21 change purse that says "Live like its Taco Tuesday".

Here's how to exacerbate everything so that one day those those charges don't ruin your whole drive home and make you take it out on the kids.

1.Order your drink in a different size cup!

It's not what you think. Order your drink in a cup size smaller than the one you ordered, and if you were already ordering a "short" size, just ask them to pour out half of it right in front of you. This way you wont be so bothered next time your drink is 1/16th of an inch from the rim!

2.Order a Flat White, but different

A flat white is ristretto shots and whole milk, curated to provide you with a richer, smoother latte. But we know we have to impress our husband's boss just in case things fall through with the marriage, so ask for your flat white with 2% or nonfat instead, and just get the regular espresso because it's normal and we don't want to google what ristretto means.

3.Get a Caramel Macchiato and just ruin it

Ask... no, demand, that your Caramel macchiato has no caramel drizzle and is made upside down. When the baristas suggests just getting a vanilla latte, remind her that you have been coming to Starbucks since before they were born, and you COULD have invested in the 70s, so just imagine if you were their boss. You know what? Fire them.

4.Use your pennies!

After you've ordered, and you get that receipt that you're definitely going to crumple up and leave on the hand off counter, remind the barista that you have some change in your purse and you meant to use that instead of a ten dollar bill. Then, tediously dig out those sticky coins that have been weighing down your bag and making your shoulder hurt just a bit. Tell your barista, "It's all there" and then just walk away while they decide if it's worth counting because they have 12 more people in line behind you.

5.Order yourself a Frappuccino, you deserve it!

But ask for it hot.
