Kinda torn with Octavinelle. Got all excited that one of them would order an anchovy pizza (I like anchovy pizza 😔) but I don't think it would be their first choice. Would be on the table somewhere, though. Floyd would want some sort of terrible made up pizza, like a 'sushi pizza'. He'd maybe also order a fried chicken/popcorn chicken pizza for Azul to goad him or something. I originally thought Jade would share an anchovy pizza with me but then I remembered his love of mushrooms (I love mushrooms too though lol). He'd get a mushroom deluxe- like pizza. Might even make his own with his own mushrooms. I can only imagine Azul taking part to come up with pizzas to sell for a limited time at the lounge. Mum said she was not cooking so I suggested ordering from Pizza Hut Singapore. So I went down to the restaurant to order their new menu item, the Cheesy 7 Garlic Buttermilk Chicken Pop Pizza (S$34.90) which had 7 cheeses plus garlic buttermilk sauce, topped with fan favourite spicy chicken pops and button mushrooms.

For the next pizza, I chose Seafood Deluxe (S$28.80) from their specialty range. Mum loves the juicy prawns marinated in spices, succulent squid and tasty tuna in this pizza. Everything went well until I tapped my credit card to pay. I had forgotten to ask if they still have the 50% promotion so I ended up paying the freaking full price of S$63.70 for two regular pan pizzas!!!

Nirvana deserves to be at the #1 most listened to spot on my Spotify profile. I don't have much else to say in all honesty except oh my god it is going to take me so long to organize all these songs and different versions of said songs that I just added to my two different rock playlists. Originally I thought this would be a two in one post where I discuss the story of Nirvana and the background of some albums but I also didn't originally plan to rate EVERY SINGLE SONG. I'm sorry for this being such a long post but I guess I'm very adamant about Nirvana. I also hope this post doesn't get taken down because of some of the songs' names because I've been writing this for an hour. I am insanely tired, it is 1:30 AM at the time of writing this. What if Characters from She-Ra and the Princesses of Power ordered meal from Pizzeria.

Nero Pizzeria

"We serve it hot for 6 days a week, just like in Rome"

Adora: Ask for the best-seller, get a college extra-cheesy pepperoni pizza with mozzarella-stuffed crust. 

Catra: Seafood pasta, without pasta. She even hizzed when the waiter told her their pasta was extra fresh and al dente. 

Glimmer: Margherita pizza, because she asked for whatever suits the queen.

Bow: Spaghetti Carbonara, because he couldn’t really take spices. Plus, with cocoa for dessert.

Swift Wind: Spaghetti all'Assassina, but hay instead of spaghetti. He kept eating even though he sweated a few buckets.

Shadow Weaver: Asked for a small Mediterranean salad, but the chef gave her a slightly smaller one, with extra fresh vegetables, mozzarella, some more herbs, and left her a small cup of Ristretto.   

Entrapta: All flavors of pizza rolls, ended up with only a few simple classic flavors eaten. Like, pepperoni, Hawaiian, or margarita. 

Scorpia: A large oven of lasagna, which she shares with everyone part of it. She also pays extra for her broken forks and slicer knives.

Hodrak: Eating Entrapta’s pizza rolls she doesn’t like, with extra free garlic bread sticks.

Double Trouble: Low fat Casu martzu ’maggot cheese’ (“What? I am an artist, and I need to keep my calories on watch”)

Perfuma: White Sauce Meat Deluxe Lasagna, because she doesn’t want to hurt any plants.

Mermista: Asked for sashimi rice pizza, Chef bought it from a nearby Japanese restaurant and charged her extra.

Sea Hawk: Beef Bourguignon with red wine (got thrown out of the Pizzeria)

Frosta: Calzone with the most expensive toppings, ended up on the floor by her reflex action from burning her tongue.

Horde Prime: Pizza with slices of truffle, oaken-smoked wagyu, pure olive oil drizzle, silphium and fresh tomato puree. (He complains about cheese not aged enough, and too much flour).

yuri on ice fantasy au, where a dragon moves into the hotsprings for mysterious reasons

Yuuri has such an incredible problem. He has every problem under the sun, really, but the current problem is extremely naked, extremely large, and extremely in the middle of the deepest hot spring, which is blasting every other problem out of Yuuri's head. He knows it's not true but right now he's convinced that if he can get the stupid fucking dragon to move out of his family's source of income it will solve every problem in his life, ever.

"Yuuuuu~riiii!"

Mari tosses another bag of squid at him, careless of the way that he's wallowing into his tray. It drapes over his head like an icepack. His senses are momentarily overwhelmed by plastic and brine and just a little bit of fish and also the squashy cold texture of many small squid bodies. She got over her frank admiration for the admittedly impressive male figure lounging in plain sight of every window in the inn after the first day. After a week, she's even lost interest in teasing Yuuri for the inexplicable infatuation their guest has for Yuuri in favor of increased smoke breaks. The extend of her familial support lies in keeping him supplied with snacks.

"How does he eat so much?" Yuuri mourns into the table, muffled by squid.

"At least he's paying for it," Mari says, and leaves him to his fate.

She's right. Yuuri sighs and emerges from his squid shelter to start plating it up. His fingers are going to start smelling permanently like seafood and cooking oil if this keeps up another week. Their guest payed generously in the beginning, treating himself to half the menu and every little gimmick Yuuri's parents have added to "the hotspring experience" over the years on the first night and getting somehow more extravagant with every passing day. Mari declared a ridiculous bulk order fee over their parents' protests when they started having to order groceries from other towns and he didn't even blink.

Squid goes directly on the tray, because they don't have plates big enough, with a half-assed garnish and accompaniments. Yuri is starting to dream of plating supersized "YU-TOPIA SEAFOOD DELUXE!!!" platters in his sleep. Whole shrimp, pink in their shells, mussel in the shell, and seaweed salad fence the squid in, and an ominous level of splashing from outside puts a spring in Yuri's step to take the overladen tray out to the springs.

There's a pearl the size of Yuuri's fist waiting in the walkway. "So much simpler than exchanging currency!" their guest had declared. It is, unfortunately, especially once Mari got the first one appraised and they've suddenly been inundated by collectors. Before this the only dragon pearl Yuuri had seen was in a museum as part of an emperor's treasure. They may be flooding the market. He gently rolls it into a patch of moss with his foot so he can add it to the basket under the counter when he comes back.

"Yuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu~riiiiiiiiii," croons a voice that tickles the soles of Yuri's feet and sets the water in the ponds dancing. He's not yelling, but the effect of a large man's voice multiplied by ten is proportionately multiplied.

"Yes, yes," Yuuri says.

One of Victor's heads is lying directly in the path around the corner, close enough Yuuri almost steps on him.

Food Delivery 💯 . There’s no question that food and restaurant prices are rising with the rest of the economy . Whether due to shortages (eggs, anyone?), higher wages or simply inflation, it’s always nice to find a more economical way to eat more food . I’ve been a long time Foodie Earth (thanks to @siliconvalleyfoodie for the long ago red) and it makes even more sense now . By focusing on select restaurants each day and each meal, they lower delivery costs compared to DoorDash and Uber Eats . I also love their restaurant selection that focuses on both high quality, trending and ethnic restaurants .
