i just want to put it out there that sirius black is scary as fuck from a purely physical point of view.

he’s tall as shit, has been since fifth year when he got his growth spurt, and he has tendency to loom over most people.

there’s also the matter of his poker face—it’s impeccable, untouchable. can make anyone feel like him stuck to the bottom of his shoe. he learnt it from the best in house black and it’s his default. there’s a reason people are afraid of approaching him, and are slightly awed by james’ ability to unconditionally do so at all times.

his magic is ridiculously sentient. it swirls around him at all times, often feeling suffocating to those near him. he doesn’t even notice how it swells with his emotions, rising in his defence without him having to call it. at times, it can feel like a brick wall, that’s how powerful it is. and it’s cold. people have been known to shiver and turn into metaphorical icicles around him.

and he’s also just intimidating in a—social capital way ykno? so much money, training, and status. it shows. he could be dressed in a potato sack and he’d still reek of royalty. which is essentially what the blacks are.

and this is it u don’t take padfoot into account. this fuckoff huge Grim who’s literally an omen of death, easily twice the size of any human around him, just bounding around with sharp canines on display and malice in his eyes. it’s the easiest thing to piss ur pants when u come into contact w him.

rant but alder is literally a top tier champion and if you think otherwise because his battle “wasn’t hard” you missed the entire point of bw. the whole PURPOSE of alders character is that he’s meant to show cheren and N that battling shouldn’t consume you and instead should be about developing the bond between your pokemon and other trainers - a lesson he learnt after his own ace pokemon passed away. while so many characters in BW originally represent black and white thinking and ideologies, alder is the much needed grey. a champion battle is meant to represent the players journey and tell a story and alders battle literally does exactly that.

general timeline: drops out of school (17); joins big mama's battle nexus (6 months, 18); escapes, recovers, gets his ged, starts college for art history - passing interest when younger (19); krang invasion, focuses his interest in the crying titan (22), graduates + starts graduate program, becomes a ta (23); meets mikey (24); graduates, immediately takes a trip to japan to study the drowned titan (chosen bc of its public accessibility + following hamato kamon), writes an unpopular paper about it (25); eventually becomes a teacher + consults on the side + goes on more research trips in the off-seasons, becomes the foremost expert on the titans and empherian (out of necessity instead of interest) in the hidden city; Lena born (32); is eventually able to get approval from the council of heads and starts a renovation project in conjunction with [name of the museum he usually works with idk] ($$$ and manpower) on the crying titan, which will keep him busy for many years until [redacted].

This is the timeline i made to figure out if he should get a business card when he and Mikey met or not yet.

Even though Jess is a real nice guy, soft-spoken and polite, he is deeply unpopular with his peers. He's a big guy. He has a history of violence, however short a time that was in his life. His professional interests are taboo (crawling all over the titan is super frowned upon/slightly illegal (rip the turtles)) and dangerous (empherian can and will fuck you up).

He has a reputation that follows him around, and it doesn't help that sometimes Battle Nexus fans come out of the woodwork to dredge it all up again.

If he had a different skillset, he would be on the same watch list as Draxum.

It's fine. He's a workaholic anyway.

Well, here’s the King of Deception himself, D-10!

I’m thinking of giving him the name Mephistopheles Dietrich, which roughly translates from the German demon of “liar/falsehood plasterer,” and “the people’s ruler,” which I thought was pretty fitting for this psychotic demon!

And the reason why D-10 is called “D-10” is because he has collected the 10 masks of Destruction (10 powerful masks that have their own unique catastrophic abilities) and take care not to mess with his “pinchy” it can rip solid steel apart like a feather filled pillow!

D-10 belongs to the Oligœswoīllk/ÜUk classes!

tbh all the 'im scared to go out at night', 'id pick being in a forest with a bear rather than a man', 'id never go to x place alone bc men are there' just shows the irrational fears women have that are meant to keep them at home. Never mind the statistics showing that youre much more likely to be sexually assaulted by a man you know than a stranger, that just bc its gotten dark doesnt mean the men in your neighbourhood in daytime become street rapists at night, bc society has taught you stranger danger, that inside your home is the safest place to be when that is the place you are most likely to be sexually assaulted. Because, James has likely never been in a fistfight, you know? Sunshine ‘I start fights because it’s fun but I don’t end them’ Potter. And then comes Regulus ‘anger issues’ Black and beats some guy an inch away from permanent brain damage

James is down bad. He’s fucking terrified too but somehow that makes it even hotter? Like Regulus could demolish him if he wanted… He’s not unpacking that at the moment.

And when James cleans his knuckles Regulus is just looking at him with the faintest smirk because he knows the effect it all had on James.

Regulus can even see the blush on James’ cheeks he’s not even trying to hide but Regulus still takes his chin and tilts his head up to see it better

I have a lot of thoughts about this and none of them are pure 🫤
