Blurb from Fight At The Museum rewrite

Author's note: I'm probably not gonna finish this, but I just wanted to give you guys a little bit of my writing. (Before you ask, this is canon to the FrostWatch au.)

"Then we kick their butts into next week!" said Ben proudly. He turned to his best friend. "Right, Sasha?" Sasha smiled shyly, swallowing her annoyance with Kai. "That's right, Ben! We'll show them who's boss!" she responded, her hands glowing in icy blue light.

Kai still looked angry but relieved. "I'm trusting you three. Especially you Ben," She said flirtily. Sasha gave Kai a side eye that could make hell freeze over if it could. What the hell was Kai doing? First, she was acting horrible, then she was acting nice to everybody?! It made no damn sense! Trying not to lose her cool, Sasha slowly turned to Kai and finally said what she had been thinking for the past 15 minutes.

"Kai. Why are you being so mean?" Her voice was scarily calm, a trademark trait of the Anderson Family...and it meant business. "For the entire time we've been here, all you've done is complain and beg Ben to turn into Blitzwolfer! And every time we try to help you, you lash out in anger and call us stupid for even trying. So what. The. Hell. Is. Your. Deal?!" She was getting closer to Kai with every word, silent fury building in her dark blue eyes.

The room was so silent you could hear a pin drop. Ben and Kai's mouths were on the floor, and Rook's look could only be described as pure, unaltered shock. They had never seen Sasha act this angry before. The bubbly, kind, sometimes unhinged mask of Sasha had fallen off, and they didn't know how to react. It took another five seconds for the blue-haired heroine to realize what she had done.

"Oh shit."

"I'm sorry. I didn't mean to say that.." Sasha blurted out with fear in her voice. As if on impulse, they put their hands up in self-defense to protect themselves from an incoming slap...

...But none came. Instead, Kai hugged her.

Finally finished the Smol Frosty Gal!

Not gonna lie, I'm really proud of this piece! (Despite using a base and looking up references every five seconds lmao). I think the thing I like the most is the eyes- simple but cute. 😊

Oh god it's been like almost two years since the last panel redraw (and when I originally started this drawing) but it's finally here!!!

A lot has changed since I last posted about Clouded Frost, most notably being the updated designs for Hawkfrost and his siblings! Hawkfrost's changes were pretty major by comparison to his siblings (something you'll soon better see in a future post), but Mothwing also now has more of a moth motif to her tabby markings. This redraw also features my design for Sasha which I think I'm pretty satisfied with. I do intend to make references for them all someday, but life as of late has just been too busy with stuff like work and college. ^^;

Super happy that I finally got around to getting this done though! I like this one a whole lot more than the last one, possibly because of my new color choices and improvement in regard to scenery. XD

So I got a DM earlier from somebody saying that Sasha's hair was "too blue and saturated" and "it would look better if it was dyed" (paraphrasing here) and not gonna lie, it actually made me sad.

Like, the whole point of Sasha's hair (and eyes) being blue is because her powers are ice related, and giving her blue hair is a visual manifestation of her powers. (That and it's a bit of a middle finger to so-called oc critics who are constantly like "YOUR OC CAN'T HAVE COLORED HAIR IN ANY WAY DURHUR")

Besides, she wasn't even born with blue hair to begin with. It started turning blue when she was 2 years old!
