DETAIL BREAKDOWN:

If you go into the colour picking, Karna and Sapphria’s schemes are in the same place, just blue and red. Both Their skin and lineart match (and their eyes) Karna is dressed in raw meats (strange) and Sapphria is dressed in coked meats. Yes Karna has Sapphria’s hair and yes she intentionally looks young here. Yes Sapphria has Karna’s hair yes she has been poisoned. Karna would have been 16-21 when she killed Sapphria. Karna’s glow is the colour of mould, Sapphria’s is the colours of her sisters (but not her brother). That’s Deli holding her head back (but i feel like that was obvious). Karna’s dress is in a Canadian style since she’s pretty much wearing Sapphria’s regular dress made out of meat (this is the strangest detail breakdown I’ve ever done) The colours of where she’s stabbed are the colours of ALL her siblings (this time including Amethar). (I call this i went mad about the rocks sisters and Karna parallels)

I am so PISSED we never got to see Sapphria in-person! She is by far the coolest/most-down-to-earth of all 4 sisters, and the one I wanted to most see in Ravening War.

Not to mention, since she’s the Rogue sister it would have made SO MUCH BULB-DAMN SENSE for her to be an adversary of our Scrumptious Scoundrels and all the behind-the-scenes fuckery they get up to.

Give me Sapphria going full unhinged detective on a hellbent quest to solve her mother’s murder.

Give me Sapphria working in the shadows to counteract the moves of the FDA.

Give me Sapphria breaking into the du Peche manor in Uvano to question Amangeaux about court secrets.

Give me Sapphria sneaking up on Raphaniel late one night to get info on Citrina’s death.

Give me Sapphria dueling Colin after he came to protect Raphaniel, then vanishing into the night.

Give me Sapphria whispering in the ears of Meatlanders to work against Deli’s interests.

Give me Sapphria facing down Karna in a fierce batte-to-the-death. One on one!

Give me Sapphria as the Master-Rogue we’ve always known she secretly was and by-the-bulb she deserved to be!!!

So D20 fans I don’t know what to make of this, but the hand posture of the seal of the FDA in The Ravening War has been seen in two other pieces of official art: Sapphria’s ACOC portrait, and Belizabeth Brassica’s Ravening War portrait.

No clue what that might mean but there we go.
