Anyway She-Ra is a fantastic show (yes it has flaws but nothing is perfect), and Catra is an amazing character, and Catradora made cartoon lesbian history and people can just die mad about that ^_^

Demon twins? Demon twins. 

Damian? Good at the assassin side of things, at least for a four year old, but Danyal? He’s okay, but he’s far better at things like poisons and bookkeeping. Which is honestly? Okay. They’re the League of Shadows, and sure a majority of the members are assassins, but it’s definitely not all there are. So? Danyal starts getting medical training. 

Not to say that either of the boys don’t know their fair share of violence and healing- it’s just better to let them play to their strengths. One doesn’t keep a league over centuries if they just have one type of warrior, or even just warriors. A variety is needed. 

So one gets trained more towards the business side of things. Damian may be better at wielding the weapons and killing- even if neither have had their first kill quite yet- but Danyal shows far more proficiency at acting, at masking who he is and gathering information. 

Damian, when he’s first sent to their Father, doesn’t mention his twin. Not because he’s jealous or hates him or anything like that. You just don’t talk about someone in an undercover mission in the League, and it’s not something he realizes isn’t a rule everywhere. 

Needless to say, the Bats have more than a mild freakout the first time Damian mentions a twin who will be coming to the manor now that his mission is over.

So… Kinito the axolotl, Sam the sea anemone, and Jade the jellyfish.

Can I talk about the choice of species here? Because the first thing I notice when I look at this trio is that Kinito is not like the others in a lot of ways.

There’s the obvious fact that his name lacks alliteration, but Kinito is also the only vertebrate. I don’t know if that’s a coincidence or a metaphor for the others being “spineless” in some way, or just a way of showing Kinito as other and not quite fitting. Or that he’s more “complex” as jellyfish and anemones… literally do not have brains.

But the first thing I noticed is that an axolotl is exclusively a freshwater creature. Meanwhile Sam is a sea anemone, and… well, freshwater jellyfish exist… sort of? They’re called jellyfish and are functionally jellyfish but taxonomically they’re not “true jellyfish”. A lot of non-jellyfish creatures pretend to be jellyfish it’s a whole thing.

The point is that Kinito is separated from his friends. He is not built for the same world they are. Sam and Jade are marine invertebrates, and Kinito is a freshwater amphibian. Sam and Jade are characters in a flash game with actual voices, and Kinito is a virtual assistant spyware that uses tts.

Despite bearing his name, the world of the “Kinito Crew” is not built for him.

And when he’s able to make his own world? That’s not built for him either. It’s built for you. The only environment you can pick that involves water is a remote island, which again… saltwater. Not for Kinito.

He adapts to you. So he wants what you want, right? He spends all his time learning everything he can about you, after all. What has he ever learned about himself?

What would a world built for Kinito even look like?

⋆｡˚ ✈️ ⋆˚ ༘ ೀ⋆｡ ˚𓏲*ੈ✩‧₊☁︎ Chatter here once again flying in. You should totally look into Windblade! Her design is gorgeous and I’ve seen so many fan designs of her as a city speaker on here. Perhaps to incorporate it you could sorta say Sam atm is in his first or second frame and he still got a lot to go so perhaps as he gets older his frame changes more. Or he gets upgrades like Optimus did and Windblade.

Don’t beat yourself up about your art! Honestly it’s great and the design you have for mini!bot! Sam is really neat. 🫶

I have a self insert/oc myself who hails from being allspark built and I kept his design a tad simple but added features so he look more noble and markings. This is so he could be overlooked if needed to be and blend in as just a noble. lol

The urge to make a KinitoPET sona/character but the fear that it'd be too "cringy" or "weird" head in hands

Their name would be Calvin(Cal) the Coral to follow the name thing of "Jade the Jellyfish" and "Sam the Sea anemone" also "Kinito the Axolotl" isn't right why is his name like that. Kinito the Kelp. Axel the Axolotl. Actually he's allowed to have the main character name he's the MC I think. Oh also Cal would probably be a bubble coral

It'd be simplified but something like this

My reasoning for wanting to have an OC/sona that interacts with Kinito can be best summarized with this post

On ep 123 (Web Development) of my current tma relisten and I hear this line “The site was called Chelicerae, but the URL, the web address, was nothing like the name. Just a long string of numbers and letters with no pattern or reason to them, almost impossible to memorize.” Hmmm a long string of numbers and letters with no pattern & impossible to memorize, why does that sound so familiar?

My new working theory is that the OIAR is the current stronghold for the web based on this info. I know other people have mentioned this theory as well but I wasn’t so sure because I couldn’t remember how the web manifested. But now that I have some evidence to back it up I definitely agree.

Although I do think there are still some influences of the Eye because one of the ways it manifests is through watching and knowing, and the statements/reports that are read aloud are attempting to force the listener to witness whatever horrors are depicted.

Additionally Sam has shown an active interest in knowing more about the Magnus institute despite the unofficial (?) rule of the OIAR being to just leave anything mentioned in a report alone. Which means that he might be the antithesis to Jon tma who had been touched by the Web in his childhood yet ends up serving the Eye, while Sam likely had been influenced by the Eye before now but is currently serving the Web.

Not so much panic from Sam, unlike any case or mission he’s dealt with this was more mundane

Max however was the one panicking in the past he always talked about his biological clock ticking, and making quips about it but he never actually thought it would happen, though having parental experience due to raising a literal alligator and cockroach he wasn’t too sure how to raise a literal baby, ‘what if I drop them?’ All these overwhelming thoughts that made Max’s brain all wonky this was all in the first trimester, it does get better though he starts to think about all he memories to create, the wonders of parenthood

Sam’s excited overall, and so is Max (sorry if I’m not good at explaining this it’s hard to keep them in character and I haven’t really put in much thought of the storyline yet.. so take this with a grain of salt :-)

Here’s a small sample

Sam's heart skips a beat, like an athlete jogging at an extreme speed, Max's words, ‘Pregnant?’ He looks at him, disbelief and excitement filling his eyes. He cups Max's cheeks, a mix of emotions swirling inside him.

"You're… you're serious? We're…”

He swallows, a smile slowly spreading across his face.

"We're having a baby?" He managed to finally find his vocals
