Go-Go fever was in full swing when Go-Go Galore opened late '65, playing in the Casbar Lounge at 4:30AM and 6AM. In Jan. '67 it was replaced by the Dolls a Go-Go revue (below). Next up was Mad Mod World.

Beautiful Marilyn Robertson, a native Texan, won the role of the ‘Goldfinger’ girl in Arthur Leon’s Sahara Casbar Theater production “Go Go Galore” without ever seeing her new boss. “I took one look at her picture,” said Leon, “and telegraphed her she had the job.” Miss Robertson does a feature number in the show completely painted in gold. - Forest Duke, The Visiting Fireman.
