In Matthew 19:4-5, Jesus reaffirms this: “He answered, ‘Have you not read that he who made them from the beginning made them male and female,’ and said, ‘For this reason, a man shall leave his father and mother and be joined to his wife, and the two shall become one’?”

Stone Age Funeral

Oh, hear the ancient whispers of the past, When stone and bone were all that man possessed, And fire was but a flicker, fleeting fast, A gift from gods that left us truly blessed.

In darkened caves we huddled, cold and bare, Our only shelter from the wild and free, And in our hands we held the bones we'd dare To carve and shape into our destiny.

But as the flames grew brighter, we did learn The art of burial, a sacred rite, To honor those whose time had come to turn Into the earth, beneath the starry night.

And in those moments, by the fire's glow, We felt a love that words could not express, A bond that only bone and stone could know, A union born of life and death's duress.

Oh, Keats, how you would marvel at the sight, Of ancient man, so humble and so true, Whose simple ways and passions burning bright, Could stir our souls and make our hearts anew.
