I've had guys asking for my hand since I was 17. My dad always said no. "No, she needs to focus on her studies." Even after I finished school and was ready, none of them impressed him, and he didn’t approve. My dad is a very God-fearing man who doesn’t like scrubs or degenerate men. His standards were high, and he expected a lot from any man for me. He wanted someone who thought like him. He didn’t like anyone with a closed mindset, who thinks a dysfunctional family is a flex when it’s actually a huge loss. He wanted a man who would be loyal, with eyes only for me, nobody else. NOT even death do us part. Just like how he and my mom were in their marriage, he wanted the same for all his children. I was never forced. It’s simple: the men who came asking for my hand had to go to the man of the house. This practice exists in Christianity too, not just in Islam. A lot hoes dont understand ideal on arrange married. The woman has to say no. Their dad give their input and say this man is this way and good or not. So my father knew my brother in law family and also a lot his friend speak highly of them. So its not just easy and what he background check them like freaking Spy or something My dad was in army nobody would dare fool him or lie he had always a way find the truth about them. Still this day there guy from far distance family last time my mother told he still waiting for me. LMAO.

My father had a lot of daughters, and he raised us all well. Everyone was waiting to get one of his daughters for their son. Even now, my mom’s friends are asking about my sisters. One day, she was at my place with two of her friends and one of them said to my mom, "Let’s match my son with your beautiful daughter." He was actually super handsome too; she showed us pictures of him.

A lot of us are taken, but I’m the one (and 3 of my sisters) who are still available, so they keep trying, LMAO.

I’m over here like Neo from The Matrix, dodging them all like bullets. 🤣🤣 Stay away from me. You ain’t filling my dad’s shoes-you’re not for me. That’s all I expect from a guy: he has to fill those big shoes dad left behind in every aspect of life.
