I HAVE DRAWN ALL OF THE (main) STANDS

These are the designs I'm gonna be using for my Standverse AU (this is a link) where all the stands get trapped in a 'purgatory' without their users and are forced to be sentient.

Here are some stand designs I came up with earlier

I’ll explain the abilities they all have below the cut!

Im thinking of making users for them, or at least the crow since they’re my favorite design here!

11. This stand spits out coins that if anyone takes them, besides the user, they will turn into a crow that user can control. If the victim of this ability is a stand user, the user can control the stand of the person.

1. This stand mimics the abilities/attacks of an enemy (whether it’s the same or different ability/attack, such as being weaker, I haven’t thought about that)

7. This stand can control the minds of whoever hears its voice. (Anyone can hear its voice, not just stand users)

9. This stand allows its user to travel through technology such as computers, phones, and security cameras.

8. The stand releases a lavender-scented gas from their mouth that makes others feel drowsy before falling asleep.

Finally finished this drawing of a jojo-ified Placebo!! These are design concepts I was working on for a while, mostly because I wanted to think about what their stand powers may be if they had those.

Stef's stand is POLICY OF TRUTH - named after the Depeche Mode song, it manifests as a bass guitar that has the ability to prevent those affected by its power from speaking, unless they are speaking truthfully.

Brian's stand is ANDROGYNOUS MIND - named after the Sonic Youth song, it manifests as a winged humanoid figure that has the ability to project onto others intense emotions such as confusion, anger, or impassionment.

policy of truth :

the reason i decided to go for a bass for stef's stand as opposed to brian's more humanoid stand is related to stef's more technical angle on music/composing as opposed to brian's more instinctual approach.

the heartbeat motif on the bass and mouth was suggested to me by my friend @27thfirefly in reference to lie detectors. what i ultimately want to incorporate from that with the mouths of those affected will look as though they are loosely sewn shut* with that same motif. I'm also imagining that stef's bass' "heartbeat" would pulse like a heartbeat monitor, but that isn't something i can convey through a still drawing.

*and if you want to connect it back to a placebo track, there's that "we're sewn together" line from space monkey. (and if that line is stef's stand, would the following "she's born to mesmer" line reflect brian's stand's powers?)

androgynous mind:

a lot of brian's stand design combines existing placebo music videos/associated visuals, mostly bruise pristine and this picture. I really like the jewelry some of the models wear in the bruise pristine video, and find it incorporates well into the more robotic type of design humanoid stands tend to have.

the floral motif idea came from @27thfirefly again, as i had mentioned the placebo song lady of the flowers, and through both that and the stand's name relating to androgyny, it relates back to the jean genet novel the placebo song is named after. The colour of the flowers was inspired by the dead flowers in that 1996 photoshoot by pat pope.

i was originally just going to come up with stand ideas but in true jjba spirit, i decided i wanted to jojo-ify their appearances as well, and ultimately a full drawing (the composition of/poses for which was hard to decide on, noted by the sketch thumbnails):

by the time i had completed the illustration in my sketchbook, i wasn't sure if i wanted to colourize it traditionally or digitally, and ultimately, i'm glad i opted to digitize it entirely, because that allowed me to experiment with the colours and composition from that angle much more than it would have had i coloured it traditionally.

How to Select the Best Space for your Exhibition Booth?

The first thing every exhibitor considers while planning their trade fair participation is the design and construction of their exhibition stand. Once you have decided on the amount that you can spend on your exhibition stand design, booth construction, promotion of your exhibit, renting a space at the venue, and hiring a professional exhibition stand manufacturer, it becomes very easy to properly plan the marketing strategy for the show and preparing an impressive sales pitch.

Drift towards the bigger brands: If you don’t have the exhibition stand space near the high foot traffic areas, it doesn’t mean that you are not going to have a lot of visitor interaction at your booth. All you have to do is look for the big brands on the show floor, find out which spaces are available near them and you are set. Usually, trade visitors seek out the big brands at the fairground and make a beeline to visit them first. So, if you have booths near them, you will get a much high concentration of attendees at your stand too.

Research and explore your options: You cannot just take a glance at the entire exhibition floor plan and decide on a space that you think would benefit you the most. If you think so, we’ll advise you to relax and take a closer look. To ensure successful trade show participation, you should consider all of your options. If there’s a high foot traffic booth space available on the show floor but is getting ticked off by other exhibitors due to a pillar or beam near it, then don’t worry about getting yourself that spot. All you need is an experienced trade show booth company that crafts visually stunning, unique, business-driven stands and are capable of covering that pillar you were worrying about with their creativity and expertise.
