“Alright, let’s get off here. I have a plan.” the man, who you learned was the Sound Hashira Tengen Uzui, stretched his arms above his head. The five of you slowly got down from the ride. “What’s the plan?” You ask. Uzui-san chuckled. “You’ll see.” Not too long later, you were fully clad in heavy makeup and a beautiful kimono, your hair elegantly piled up on your head and decorated with various ornaments. You could’ve done it yourself, but Uzui-san insisted on doing it instead. Tanjiro, Zenitsu, and Inosuke were all dressed in a similar fashion. Genya refused, saying he was only there to make sure you were safe and didn’t want to partake in any of “this stupid dress up play” (His words!). But when he saw you all dressed up… He lost it. You couldn’t blame him. Tengen actually tried when it came to you, unlike the others. (He did our trio so dirty T^T) Needless to say, Genya was speechless. Lucifer is more offended that she didn’t tell HIM of all people. Thoughts swing and swirl as he tries to figure out why, just why she felt he couldn’t tell her. He forbids any thoughts of comparing him to his father, forcing a contrastive turn to the idea.

He is nothing close to his father, and while he has his flaws like the rest of his brothers, he doesn’t think she, his daughter, should be scared enough to come to him about her love for Diavolo’s-

Heir. Oh.

It makes sense. Being the lover to an heir could be..challenging.

He eventually confronts her about it, but makes sure she knows she isn’t in trouble. He merely worries.

She dejects, denies, even pulls moves he himself does when her pride won’t allow her to speak. But of course, he sees it loud and clear. With some gentle probing, swallowing down his own pride to show his concerns in spite of what she might think, finally she relents. A little teary eyed, but relents as he feels a worry knaw at his side.

Instead, Lillie throws him for another loop when she lets out that the reason she was scared wasn’t personal towards him, but more the reason of her being half human. Her reasoning is that no one, absolutely not a single demon, soul in devildom would be happy to hear that the future to the throne is with a half human of all things. They already send so much looks, so much insults towards her and her siblings’ way that it’s no question it wouldn’t triple the moment she shows herself as the partner of her favorite demon.

Lucifer bristles. If he wasn’t getting flashbacks to Lilith the 1st the moment his daughter was hiding something, he certainly is now. Besides, MC gets sneers and glares wherever they go when with the boys or kids, so he doesn’t doubt her worries are for nothing.

But everyone knows that the one thing Lucifer Morningstar, once prince of Heaven and now a Lord of Devildom, prides himself the most on is keeping his family safe. And his daughter is the top of his list on that.

In short- Lucifer tells Lillie to “fuck the haters” but in his “Lucifer” way of things. Tells her he’s proud she’s considering things in a responsible light but urges her to not let her relationship ever fall from it. And finally- he AND Diavolo will deal with the people if they decide to get a little too rowdy about it.

As for the Heir. It’s no surprise Diavolo knows, in fact he laughed the moment Lucifer brought it up to him in private and shared how he would love Lilith as a daughter-in-law! Hell, he already considered her so despite his child’s insistence that they aren’t ready for that yet.

As for the protective bit- Yep. Now that he knows, he tends to watch them a little too closely, asks questions that has Lilith scolding him, and of course, glaring at the heir anytime he catches them in the halls of RAD together. He lets Lilith be an adult of course and make her own decisions, she is 21 after all, but he makes it known to the heir that if any harm came to Lilith because of them, or she cries their name in a way that’ll break his heart and have his unworldly powers rearing its head for a bite at them- he won’t care that they will be his future ruler anymore.

He’s also happy to have them as his in law too he supposes.

Nearly all death scenes (no one is safe here) are already outlined and rely very heavily on the moment and the plot! I don't think this is spoilery at all without context so yay!

I chose the severely injured angst bc I got a very specific death scenario ask too and I didn't want to answer the same thing for the two of you/blend my answers into one ask ^^

Crushing stage btw

Dante doesn't think it's physically possible for him to keep his distance from you—as if simply holding your hand would give you enough leverage to slip away from him, as you lay bleeding out. No, Dante needs to hold you. He needs to be the one whose hands press against your bleeding stomach, the one whose chest attempts to chase your heartbeat from behind.

And there it is, Dante barely remembers that he too needs to breathe. He speaks, speaks, speaks, and then he realizes he's not speaking in English. Dante switches languages clumsily as the words weigh on his tongue:

“I know it hurts. I know, I know,” you wince in pain, Dante presses his lips together, his palms grow warmer and warmer against your wound “I’m gonna get you somewhere safe, okay? Hang on a second.”

Lilith thinks, rather irrationally, that the only reason they can smell your blood so vividly is because of her monstrous nature. They convince themselves that yours is a nick and theirs is a delusion fueled by overwhelming care and worry. But Lilith is often wrong, and the scent of blood grows so thick they can practically feel it down their throat.

“Oh, love,” Lilith frowns, they wrap an arm around your waist and help you sit down “Breathe with me, okay?”

You nod woozily and Lilith worries—they often do, they have plenty of reasons to be concerned about you. The Succubus removes their jacket and presses it against your wound.

“I’m here with you, love, everything will be okay.”

Your best friend proudly wears the badge of ‘Person Who Worries Most About [Name]’, and the mere idea of watching you getting hurt is more than enough for Josh to feel queasy—he has that good of an imagination. Josh can't fathom the thought of seeing you getting hurt, but control slips between his fingers like water, and that very thing is proven when he sees it unfold before his very eyes.

It's much worse than anything Josh could have imagined, but his mind isn't catching up with such a line of thought. He's too busy catching you before you fall, keeping you awake, trying to do something, anything. At all.

Josh's ears ring.

“Shit, fuck. Shit,” your best friend looks around. Josh needs to find some help, he keeps his hand tightly wrapped around your wrist, feeling your pulse against his fingers. Is he panicking? Josh feels like he is.

Villanelle thinks she's seeing things. Maybe it's some kind of prank, maybe it's a dream. Maybe she'll wake up on her cozy bed. But that doesn't happen.

The young witch then thinks this is a vision. Villanelle feels detached from her body as soon as you start bleeding, like her soul was flung out of her body and into a movie theatre: a horror movie starring you.

But Villanelle blinks and finds herself standing just as she was, battling denial.

“[Name]!” the witch calls, wide-eyed and terrified. She runs to your side frantically, hand trembling, “Stand— Stand still. I think I might be able to help. Everything will be okay—everything is okay.”

Leather rustles together as Victor takes off his jacket and wraps it around your shoulders—it doesn't warm you up, but it does make you feel ever so slightly safe. The Demon Hunter pulls you a little closer, checks your breathing and pulse, he checks you over carefully in case you're bleeding. He's so methodical you almost feel like you're at a doctor's appointment. Victor presses a hand against your bloodied side. He grumbles something, speaks up when you woozily tilt your head in his direction.

“I'll take care of this,” Victor assures you, his inflection betrays nothing, but his hands are steady as they support you “Focus on staying awake, [Name]. Can you do that for me?”

Victor drags you, but then he stops and hoists you up.

Aliyah grips your shoulder, keeps you standing straight as your head swims with the lightheadedness of the pain. Her demeanor is serious, her eyes are anchored on your wound—and how it bleeds, bleeds, bleeds—

“It’s not fatal,” Aliyah declares, so coldly and so surely, you don't know what to think “Not now.”

The Genie looks up at you, then down at your wound. She sighs, hesitates, presses a finger against your non-fatal injury. You see her smirk a little.

“Do you want to wish for me to heal you?”

The situation is so bizarre you nearly laugh.

“Are you going to stop if a say no?” you gasp.

Aliyah hums a little, your wound stings as she seals it shut, “I'll add it to your tab. Let's find your doctor friend.”

Panic seizes him like a constrictor around his stomach. There's an entire rave in Nathan's stomach.

“Shit that looks bad,” Nathan mumbles.

He makes no effort to touch it, or you, at first. His hands hang by his side for a few moments, then he lifts them and cups your cheeks, thumb stroking your cheekbone.

“You're not dying on me, okay? I'm sure it's not that bad. Breathe with me.”

Nathan helps you breathe, and he also tells you to close your eyes. There's a soft press of his forehead against yours, and a brief light that burns your eyelids. It disappears as quickly as it came, and Nathan takes a wobbly step back.

“There,” he grins “All healed up.”

Eden catches you before you fall—she nearly falls with you, manages to draw strength from some unknown place, and keeps the two of you from keeling over. She pushes every muscle in her body until you find yourself sitting, with Eden pulling your shirt up—taking her own jacket off—and pressing the fabric against your injury. Eden strokes your knee when she sees you wince.

“Bear with it,” her voice sounding so rough might be due to nerves and not lack of empathy.

“I’ll try,” you wince again, forcing a tiny smile so she doesn't worry too much.

Eden rolls her eyes—fondly—and looks your wound over, “It looks bad. But not too bad. Hang on, [Name].”

this is another "post that was in the tags of another post but the tags got too long so now its its own post" post

so i saw another post abt saying "thank you" instead of "sorry" and i remembered how i first saw someone giving that advice a long time ago and it made me realize how much ive incorporated it into my speech since and how helpful its been. like ive heard this advice get dunked on a bit since then but it rly is so much better for both parties. like ive heard it helps some people unlearn shame about their own harmless actions but even besides that its made so many conversations so much easier for me. saying 'i appreicate u being patient btw ik i tend to ramble/get excited' or something is sm better than 'sorry i talk sm' cuz the latter might make the person feel obligated to reassure u at best but the former makes the other person feel like they r a good friend for listening to u. and ofc other ppl have said this before but i just kind of wanted to share the ways its been useful for me.

whenever i suddenly realize that ive lost a bit of self awareness and control when rambling thanking the other person for listening/being patient while i get to my point is gen sm more helpful. like even besides the fact that theres no point in apologizing for something ultimately harmless that ive always done and am never gonna be able to stop from happening sometimes it lets u jus kinda keep talking seemlessly too. like if u say sorry an they're nice theyll prob stop and reassure u, which sucks bcz if you were just enthusiastically rambling abt something u probably dont want the conversation to suddenly turn into a conversation about the way you tend to ramble. assuming the other person is willing/would like you to continue and you're not done you probably just wanna stop and be considerate of the other person for listening real quick before continuing, and thats why an thank you allows the conversation to continue much more smoothly than an apology.

an ofc it applies to other situations too if u feel the instinct to offset shame to combat ur social anxiety this gives u an alternative to apologizing, which other people have talked abt but theres a lot of unspoken communication that happens in an apology vs a thank you that most people arent even aware is happening. like i started saying 'thanks for hanging out w me i had fun!' after outings an ppl always seem to respond well and it kind of helps to offset my anxiety abt if a social outing went well. like thinking "what if i committed a major faux pas and everyone knows abt it but me" sucks because there isnt a way to address those feelings directly without basically accusing the other person of secretly being mad at you, but what you can do is acknowledge as far as you're concerned, the social interaction went well (not to mention if the other person is having the same anxieties you are this can be helpful to them to). like well at least they know i had a good time an enjoy/appreciate their company thats all i can do. i did my best to be kind and respectful and if i did something wrong and they aren't telling me i simply cannot account for their feelings. however they felt/feel abt it is out of my hands.

Most scholars are just gonna tell you to pray and while that might be helpful to some, its not a very viable response and often doesn't work. However as you mentioned, fantasies are permissable because we can't control our minds, so using that to explore your desires healthily would probably be allowed. I will mention that while its genuinely accepted that masturbation is prohibited, some scholars do suggest that in strenuous circumstances where doing it would stop zina it is allowed, so i can't see a reason for erotica not having the same exceptions, however i do think it is important to make sure you reel yourself in, because smut can quickly become an addiction.

You and Senku are both really dedicated to your work. 

Senku works hard to recreate modern day science inventions, takes the time to research and experiment and is even a teacher to the citizens of Ishigami Village! He’s accumulated a vast knowledge of all sorts of science and mathematics over the years and has practiced applying his knowledge through the technology he’s recreated in the stone world. Senku is one of the most driven and passionate people amongst a group of hard-working, intelligent others. You were another.

Two brilliant people enamored with their work- the only difference between them? One knew when to take a breather. 

Senku was only human and knew--for the most part--to listen to his body. Prioritizing health was a given; the logical thing to do. He understood the value of rest and was aware that even he needs his downtime, so he’s rarely caught pulling all-nighters and denying food. 

You, on the other hand, took every chance you got to work. 

You seemingly never stopped moving and reflecting on new material after new material. When you weren’t focusing on your work, you were helping others with tasks of their own. Though Senku admires your endurance and determination, he starts questioning your means of getting so much done when you begin refusing food and sleep.

Senku has snapped you out of your work trance a couple of nights to remind you that it’d be no good if you’re tired throughout the day, and you’d tell him you would settle down for the night just as soon as you finish this one thing. He had no reason not to believe you, so he’d retreat to his sleeping bag. 

The “just this one thing” line soon got old though, and he started observing how the bags under your eyes were growing darker and your cheeks were more sunken in. It was harder for you to get as much work done and your mind constantly drifted. Honestly? He was a little scared of the state you were in. 

One morning, Senku was in the midst of finishing a conversation with Gen when the mentalist asked him, “Say, is everything alright with dear Y/N? They don’t look like they’ve been doing very well,” his eyes flickering nervously to you, watching you barely keep yours open before returning his attention back to the scientist. Senku sighed and was about to reply when a loud “thud!” was heard from behind him. Both Gen and Senku whipped their heads toward the noise and saw you had collapsed on your side. “Y/N!”

Your friends immediately rushed over and Senku started checking your pulse, your breathing, just to make sure you hadn’t died from overload! But no, you were still very much alive, though you probably felt like you were on the verge of death. 

With the help of Kohaku and Gen, Senku was able to lay you down on a makeshift bed in Chrome’s shed. They all stared at your unconscious figure in concern, but Senku reassured them (and himself) that you just needed some sleep, food and water and in two weeks, you’d be good as new. 

He was surprised at how relieved he felt when you woke up, but was also a bit irritated with your stubbornness. Didn’t you know that your health should be a priority?

Nevertheless, Senku refused to leave you alone while you were bedridden, all instruction given to the other members of the village coming from your side. He left it to Kohaku and Chrome to bring you food and water throughout the day and had Kinro and Ginro take on your work while he monitored your recovery. He didn’t let you return to your tasks until color had returned to your face and the light in your eyes came back.

He was a lot more doting after that incident, making sure you were eating and drinking enough throughout the day and that you weren’t overexerting yourself. Senku’s checkups were a little annoying overwhelming, but your heart swelled at the effort your boyfriend put in to make sure you were taking care of yourself.

Senku felt a bit guilty for letting you stay awake so many nights, and afraid you’d accidentally get caught up in your work again, he’d stay up and drag you to bed if he needed to. He couldn’t fall asleep himself without his mind at ease knowing that you were getting your rest.

“It’s really nice you’re looking after me.” “Well, I don’t want you dying on the job one day.” 

Ryusui:

Ryusui is a man who desires all, and that means good health too. Getting sick is something that would hold him back from accomplishing his goals and bringing his other desires into fruition after all. 

He’s very dedicated to his studies and is passionate about what he wants. He takes the time to learn how to attain his desires, putting in a lot of time, effort and money patience into his work. 

Sure, Ryusui may have encouraged your bad habits a couple of times-- if you desire to work, then to work you shall!-- but he knows the importance of maintaining a balance between eating, sleeping, working and having fun.  

He trusts that you too know to prioritize your physical and mental health, and you do know! But sometimes you can’t help yourself from pushing back your sleep and eating time to finish ooonnnne more project. However, one project quickly turns into two and then three. 

Ryusui is no idiot, though. He knows you better than you know yourself and can easily tell when there's a shift in your personality. He notices how you seem to be more irritated with others and yourself more often, and along with that, takes notice of your slouched posture and the loss of color in your face. 

One day, Ryusui just couldn’t help himself. You were working away on yet another task, moving slowly and shakily as if you were about to topple over any second. He grabbed you by the shoulders and examined you, concern and a hint of anger laced in his tone as he asked you “when was the last time you ate a proper meal?” 

You collapsed in his arms before you could answer him, and he fell to his knees to settle your head into his lap. After yelling for help, he and Senku were able to move you into a tent with a cot and assess you properly. The Kingdom of Science leader tells him that you were sleep deprived and malnourished, and that you should be fine after a couple of weeks of catching up on rest and eating three meals a day. Ryusui could come to these conclusions on his own, but it was reassuring to have confirmation from the scientist. 

Ryusui refuses to set sail on the group’s voyage until you’re completely healed, and the minute you wake up, he’s scrambling to be at your side. He tries not to bombard you, but question after question and reprimand after reprimand sort of just tumble out. He’s worried, okay? How could you act so foolish? 

The captain is completely dedicated to nursing you back to health. He makes sure to remind you that if you ever struggle taking care of yourself or managing your workload, he’s always there to help out and firmly tells you to be more mindful of your wellbeing. Once you’re fully recovered, he’s hauling your ass to bed if you’re up doing something (as in he’ll literally carry you over his shoulder) and orders Francois to make you a bunch of healthy meals and snacks for the both of you throughout the day. He’ll even give you massages to soothe your aching muscles on days you do accidentally take on more than you think you’re capable of in order to help you sleep better.

AMAZING blog and great bleach write-ups. u know the characters so well it rivals - if not surpasses - kubo himself. im just curious what ur thoughts were on the 20th anniversary special one-shot chapter? (i apologize if u already talked about this but im just living vicariously through some of ur old bleach posts and haven't caught up to the new ones yet. sorry!)

Hi, thank you so much! I *wish* I knew as much about the characters as Kubo... the only thing I don't like about the return of Bleach is that he keeps dropping info and ruining my headcanons/stuff I said in my fanfic. 😂

Here is my very personal and biased take on the one-shot: I loved it. To be honest, it was basically catered to my very specific interests: lore + my faves. Renji had more panel time than any other character (really, truly, someone on Twitter counted) and his DILF energy was off the charts. It was lieutenant-centric overall, my favorite group of characters. We got an Akon shikai tease, I love both the new lieutenants, Mayuri shot laser eyes at Hisagi, Shinji made a hilarious face. There is now canonically tv, Line, and videophones in Soul Society. Yumichika is a wine aunt. Rukia is a shitlord. It's perfect.

Beyond that, even, I actually like the new story arc that's being teased (I am working under the assumption it is going to continue, it just doesn't make sense otherwise). My primary complaint about late Bleach is that there are too many characters. Kubo feels the need to have all his mains get a fight and then he needs to let everyone they fight have a backstory and he tries to interleave things and it takes so long to come back around to the small subset of characters any given reader actually cares about.

Don't get me wrong: I really, really like Ukitake, Unohana and Kyouraku as characters, but part of what I like is that they are a) old as balls, b) have seen and done some gnarly shit, and c) enjoy the relative peacetime where they get to mentor young people and be kind and pretend like they haven't committed a ton of murders for the Good of Soul Society. Yamamoto is a special case because I don't believe he's remotely sorry for anything he ever did (see: that filler arc where he falls asleep while Amagai is screaming about how Yamamoto threw his dad under the bus). In any case, we never really got to see Ukitake go ham, and we only got glimpses of Unohana, and I'm honestly kinda into the idea of them becoming Lords of Hell, because they probably do deserve it. Also, I want to see Bankai Rukia vs Hell Yamamoto, that shit is gonna slap.

I do wish we'd gotten a little bit more of Orihime, Chad and Uryuu (and no one needs to tell me that was the back of Uryuu's head at the ramen shop-- I don't actually think it was and also the back of someone's head is not very exciting). As I said, I have every expectation that this story will continue and I am hoping they are all involved. I can't imagine that Orihime *wouldn't* be, but it is a strong possibility that Chad and Uryuu will get shafted. I am saving my rage for them. (Note: What if Chad got to fight Shrieker again?? That would slap!!) I'm not really concerned about other people not appearing much-- it was already an extra-sized one-shot, and it had a lot of cast members, it was enough for me.

Two last thoughts!

1) I liked the amount that the kids appeared. For a while, I was really concerned that they were gonna pull a Boruto and make some next-gen series (possibly with minimal involvement from Kubo) and it was literally going to make me hate Bleach the way the new Star Wars movies made me hate Star Wars, a thing I once deeply loved. Instead, the kids were there and they were relevant to the plot, but the action was carried by the adult characters. This is cool in my opinion because it lets use see our faves in their role as parents and it builds the kids' characters organically instead of asking me, the reader to care about them solely on the basis that I liked their parents.

2) I mentioned Kubo ruining my headcanons earlier, and probably the #1 thing I didn't like about the one-shot is that I had always assumed that Soul Society basically knew how Hell worked, and that they had some sort of treaty or natural division of responsibility between them. Tbh, that's on me, my expectations were far too high. From day 1, shinigami have consistently known jack-shit about how anything works and just blunder through the larger greater spiritual world, making stuff up as they go along. I used to assume that this was a Rukia thing-- she only had one year of shinigami school, she's a Kuchiki so she can just say things and no one disagrees with her, and she's Rukia. But, no, Kyouraku's out here performing insane rituals and sending his pals to Hell and he's like, "oh, man, I think I read something about this on Yahoo! Answers once but then I got distracted." Complete and utter buffoonery. I can't wait to see more.

- snl ripoff au! danny and rusty are the weekend-update-adjacent anchors and they get gay. i Would have this take place in la (reuben is taking A Risk producing a late night sketch comedy show on the west coast but the 11/12/however fuckin many are fantastic cast members so even though they lose revenue from the other timezones not watching as much as they watch snl or whatever, they still make BANK... but danny and rusty getting gay throws the equilibrium out of whack) BUT la sucks DICK so its happening in new york. also this way u get Ocean Sibling Banter (debbie and lou are the anchors for The Actual Weekend Update and when debbie/lou get together and also when danny/rusty get together there are so many ‘just switch out the blondes/brunettes nobody will be able to tell and we won’t have hr down our necks’ jokes)

- au where the caldwells, abt to go deep undercover on a Huge Fucking Case, have to give up custody of 6 year old linus to tess and danny. the case stretches on for twelve years and linus grows up w tess and danny (who get divorced like right after they adopt him bc tess finds out abt dannys Thiefly Activities-- he confesses to her bc he doesnt rly want to predispose the kid to said thiefly activities) and also isabel (she and rusty break up like Right Before tess and dannys wedding and its very funny; she then goes on to marry tess) parenting him (rusty isnt as much in the picture bc he doesnt feel bad at all abt stealing and tess doesnt want linus to pick up that mentality also rusty Feels Things abt danny)! then when linus is like 18 or 19 danny disappears (tess and isabel think its Thiefly Activities again and arent concerned, just disappointed, but linus is very concerned for his dad-slash-stepdad-slash-sort-of-uncle) and he tracks down rusty so they can find danny. they roadtrip across america and eventually catch up to danny, who is helping the caldwells, and the five of them take down whatever gang the caldwells were chasing. linus now has 6 parents

- au based on this post where some archaeologist finds a bunch of dannys [french person voice] Love Lettairs 2 rusty and so obviously the logical course of action is to rob the museum (which happens to be the museum that tess is curating. funny how things work out) without telling his team What Theyre Stealing. they successfully pull off the heist but turns out the letters were not among the items they stole!! danny is getting desperate. as a last-ditch attempt he calls tess and asks her to let them rob the museum. shes like Why The Fuck Would I Do That. he explains and she begrudgingly agrees. danny and livingston go break into the museum Again but rusty tails them bc dannys been acting Weird and he finds out abt the letters bc livingston sweats more whenever he tells a lie. they live happily ever after (literally, theyre immortal) the end. also even though dannys a werewolf the 11 all call him the new jersey devil (its not his fault that legend came to be ok!! he was very drunk!!)

I don't know whether or not I have DID. I can't see a doctor, due to money and family issues, so that's out of the way untill I can do it myself. My friend is diagnosed with DID, and says I have many signs of it, but there's a lot of different things that sign to it being something else.

I don't fully forget things, and I have a 'alter' that has a somewhat similar personality then me, and they formed pretty quickly. I'm not trying to fake anything, I'm just really confused and concerned. It could easily be something else, but with my little 'alters' there are very different mindsets, emotions and everything. I am not saying at all that I do, because I'm not diagnosed, but I would like to hear from other perspectives! /Gen

Sorry it took a few days to get to this! I haven't been on here, my apologies.

And don't worry, I don't believe you're trying to fake anything at all! Doubt is totally normal for any symptoms like that.

Of course, you know I'm also not a psychologist or anything, I just wanted to add that again before continuing. I can't say anything for sure, especially not without mode details, but I can try and provide some advice.

If DID doesn't fit the bar, I'd recommend looking into OSDD-1a/b. The main differences between them is that OSDD1a has less distinct parts, to the point wherein they are more akin to fragments rather than fully developed alters, but amnesia is present. And OSDD1b has fully developed alters, but no complete amesnia regarding switches. (There is emotional amesnia, where one does not have a connection to the events that occurred when another alter was fronting, but I digress.)

If either of those sound more accurate, hopefully they can point you in the right direction in terms of dissociative disorders.

Note that some alters may be similar to one another, whereas some may be very different. Neither of these is an incorrect experience of the conditions, so if that's where your main worry lies, it's okay!

Splits can also occur quickly sometimes, it depends entirely on the system and the situation. I've heard of ones that occur over weeks, and ones that occur over meer hours. It's a huge spectrum. Similarly, it's possible for alters to have been around for a while, and to have simply chosen not to show themselves until recently.

Still, it is possible that you're experiencing something else, as you said. I can't rule that out. Even so, you shouldn't just put aside your concerns. Trust yourself and ask questions!

Look into those conditions, or others you may find fitting. Then, take a step back. See if the symptoms continue when you're away from having your mind on such things. And if they do? Look into communication and delve deeper.
