Lena was waking up, and not in her own bed. She was somewhere warm, swaddled in a heavy blanket. Her head was pounding and she didn’t want to open her eyes. A soft mewling sound tumbled from her lips, and she made as if to blink. Her eyes felt gummy and stuck shut.
“Shhhh,” a small, soft voice murmured. “I’ve got you. You’re okay.”
“Wuh?”
“Just rest,” Kara said.
It was easy to rest. He head fell against the wall of muscle that was Kara’s chest and pillowed on her breast and Lena let out a soft sigh, shifting a bit as she came around and grew more wakeful. She was sitting in Kara’s lap as Kara leaned back against a wall, and Kara had unclasped her cape and wrapped it around her in an impenetrable blanket.
As Lena opened her eyes, she saw that Kara was carding her fingers through Lena’s hair, so gently she barely felt it.
“Your hair is really pretty.”
“Thanks,” said Lena.
A kind of confusion swept through her. Weren’t they fighting? Lena was mad. She was furious. She was world-endingly, life-burn-downingly mad at the woman in whose lap she currently sat. Kara had lied to her about the fundamental nature of who she was and… and…
Lena didn’t feel mad.
“They gave you some pretty heavy drugs when they kidnapped you.”
“Kidnapped me?”
Kara let out a little snort. “You probably don’t remember. These were the lamest kidnappers, Lena. They nabbed you and immediately called me out. I found you and bagged them before you even came around from the drugs.”
“Thanks.”
“You probably won’t remember any of this later,” Kara sighed. “I just want to tell you I’m sorry again. I’m sorry I lied. It was wrong and you deserved better. I should have given you my trust the way you gave it to me.”
Lena blinked a few times but said nothing.
“I’ll never stop saving you. I will always protect you. Even if you never forgive me.”
Lena shifted slightly, pressing a little into Kara, who was now lightly teasing the tips of her fingers across Lena’s scalp, sending light tingles through her sleepy body. Kara yawned and shrugged.
“You okay? You warm enough?”
Lena nodded.
“Alex is coming with a team, she’ll make sure you’re all right. Go back to sleep, baby.”
Baby. That word sent a shockwave through her.
Lena’s eyes drifted shut. She was very tired and it made sense to sleep, to just let it all go. She was safe in Kara’s arms.
As she tumbled towards the dark, she felt the soft press of warm lips to her forehead.
“There’s still so much I want to tell you.”
Lena sighed and nuzzled into Kara’s shoulder. She was soft and warm and smelled heavenly, not just her lavender perfume but the soft smell of her. Lena never told Kara that she wanted to smell her armpits after spin class.
“You want to smell my armpits?!” Kara choked out.
Oh. That was supposed to be inside voice.
“Mmmhmm,” said Lena.
“Can I tell you something, since you probably won’t remember this later?”
“Sure.”
“I’m in love with you.”
Lena started, jolting a little more awake.
“No, shhh,” Kara said, pulling her into a tighter hug. “I know it doesn’t change anything. You don’t owe me anything. I’m just scared. I need you to know of something happens, if…” her breath caught. “If not fast enough.”
“Kara,” said Lena.
“Shh,” Kara murmured, touching a soft kiss to her forehead again that sent a jolt rippling through her.
“I don’t even know if you like girls. It’s just that was the real reason why I was so shitty and hid who I was. I was scared you’d leave if I told you and… and it happened anyway. I’m so sorry.”
Kara sighed.
“Sometimes I wish I could be human so there’d be no secret. I don’t know of Human Kara would have been brave enough to say anything to you but I’m a coward. It would be so easy if there was no lie.”
Lena opened her eyes and looked up. Hot tears glittered on Kara’s cheeks.
“And you know, if you lived with me, and not in that big fancy penthouse, nobody would kidnap you. I’d keep you safe and get you breakfast and make sure you eat before work and take care of you because you don’t take care of yourself.”
“Mmhm, and what do you get out of this arrangement?”
“Well,” said Kara, “I’d get to kiss the prettiest girl in the world.”
“Is that all?”
Kara’s throat bobbed as she swallowed. “Well. I could do more than kiss. I never have with another woman so I’m not sure how… but I want to…”
She brushed bright scarlet.
“I could teach you,” Lena whispered.
“Don’t do that,” said Kara. “Don’t dangle that in front of me, if there’s no chance.”
“Kara,” Lena murmured, her drugged brain grinding its gears a little, “you don’t fill someone’s office with flowers as a friendly gesture. One does not buy an entire billion dollar media empire to hang out with one person as a platonic exercise.”
“Oh,” said Kara.
“I thought you were straight,” said Lena. “It boggles my mind that you thought I was. Me? Really? Have you seen me?”
“Yes,” Kara was looking at her intently now. “I have seen you since the first day. When I saw you for the first time I felt something I’ve never felt before or since.”
“This fight we’re having,” said Lena. “It doesn’t really feel important right now.”
“I know, but you’re on drugs.”
“Will you kiss me?”
“No.”
Kara’s lips were trembling. She dipped slightly as if she’d changed her mind, then pulled back and pursed her lips, pressing her eyes tightly closed.
“You might not feel this way later. It would be wrong.”
Alex chose that exact moment to kick the door in, sending a shower of splinters across the room. Kara pivoted in anticipation, shielding Lena but twisting around so they were even closer, Kara’s stunning blue eyes filling Lena’s vision.
“If you still feel this way later, call me.”
From then it became a blur. Kara placed Lena gently on a stretcher and reclaimed her cap, then trudged a safe distance away and flew off.
Alex was curt and short with her as usual, fussing over unnecessary risks and complaining sharply that Lena got into too much trouble, before sharply cutting off the conversation when it got too friendly and storming off.
Lena ended up back in her penthouse by six, all in all a fairly convenient kidnapping and rescue. She trundled inside and sat down on the couch, staring straight ahead for a while before she went to pour a glass of scotch, then thought better of it.
The night was chilly. National City never really got cold, but on a January night it could be brisk. Lena leaned on her railing and stared out at the bright lights of the city, the flow of traffic beneath and the distant sounds of life and joy.
Suddenly she felt very cold.
“Kara,” she sighed.
In an instant she was there, appearing in a faint gust. Her cape billowed out majestically behind her, hair aloft on the wind currents like clouds of spun gold. Kara didn’t look like an angel; angels looked like Kara.
“Come inside.”
Lena turned and walked back into the warmer confines, hearing the gentle thud of Kara’s boots on the balcony and her soft footsteps walking over.
“Haven’t been here in a while.”
“I used to dream of you moving in with me,” Lena admitted.
Kara stood silently behind her, shifting on her feet.
“I used to think about pampering you every time you mentioned that your rent was high or joked about a reporter’s salary. I wanted to take care of you, treat you, give you fine things.”
“You don’t have to give me anything.”
Lena turned around and crossed the distance between them. With Lena barefoot and Kara in heels, she towered over her. Lena stepped aggressively into her space and Kara didn’t flinch as Lena curled her fingers in the collar of her suit and pulled her down.
She didn’t hesitate. She gently bracketed Lena’s hips in her hands and pulled her in, bending over her to bring their lips together, Kara’s every move soft and gentle, the utmost care in every tiny gesture.
Kara was a good kisser. Lena let it deepen, feeling the heat flush in her chest and elsewhere, as Kara swept her cape around the both of them in a grand, silly, absurdly romantic gesture that made Lena’s knees go all wobbly and her belly flare with warmth.
“I could give you another chance,” Lena whispered into Kara’s lips.
“I’d like that.”
“Want to fly me home?”
“You are home,” said Kara, sounding a little confused.
Lena looked around the apartment, then rested her head on Kara’s chest. “No, I’m not.”
“Oh,” said Lena.
“Take me back to your loft. We can kiss and do the other things and then you can go get me breakfast.”
Kara slid her arm under Lena’s legs and back and picked her up, tucking Lena gently against her chest, stepped up onto the balcony railing and then off, into space. Lena’s breath caught and she tensed as she always did. She really didn’t like heights.
“I won’t drop you.”
Flying back through Kara’s window was a little awkward with the two of them, but they managed. Inside, Kara deposited her on the couch and the fussing began.
First, she made Lena put on a hoodie at the first sign of a shiver. It was old and threadbare and smelled like Kara, and when she wasn’t looking Lena buried her face in the sleeve and breathed it in.
Kara placed an order at a local restaurant and rather than wait for delivery, zipped out and got it herself.
“Do the people at the potsticker place not freak out when Supergirl pops in?”
“Actually, they give me a discount.”
She put the food in front of Lena and disappeared briefly, emerging in a tank top and running shorts, and Lena almost dropped the potsticker she was about to bite into.
Kara sat down beside her, and Lena stared at her. She wasn’t wearing her glasses and her hair was in a loose ponytail, leaving her in a kind of halfway state between Kara and Supergirl. Despite the display of her blocky shoulders and the ribbed fabric tight on her bunching abs, she looked so warm and soft.
Kara speared the potsticker and popped it into her own mouth.
“Hey!” Lena chirped.
“You were just staring at it.”
“Kara!”
“Fine, here.”
Kara gently took another dumpling in her chopsticks and offered it. Lena looked at her askance, then leaned forward and took it in her mouth, eyes never leaving Kara.
Slowly, they shifted together until they were side by side on the sofa, Lena sort of falling onto Kara as she sank into the cushions. They were less eating and more feeding each other, which turned into Lena feeding Kara as they watched whatever came on the TV.
Kara slowly worked an arm around Lena’s waist and Lena turned, throwing her legs across Kara’s thighs.
“I’m tired,” said Lena.
“You’ve had a long day.”
“Want to go to bed?” Lena said. She tried to put her best husk into her voice but it cracked a little and betrayed her.
Kara said nothing. She smiled and lifted Lena up with ease and carried her to the bed.
Lena shimmied out of her leggings, letting them fall around her ankles, all while covered by the oversized hoodie, and her heart was pounding as Kara lifted the covers with an exaggerated gesture and beckoned her into the bed. Lena climbed aboard.
Kara crawled in after her and embraced her like she was trying to pull Lena inside her body.
“You must be tired,” Kara murmured. “It’s okay if you just want to sleep.”
“I am,” Lena whispered back.
Kara started to pull back, but Lena held on. “Can you hold me for a while.”
“Nothing is gonna get you.”
Lena closed her eyes and curled up against her, sighing.
Two weeks later, she put the penthouse on the market.

Home is, whenever I'm with you | Lena Oberdorf
Tumblr media
Lena Oberdorf x german!bayern munich!reader
Summary: Lena suprises you with her move to your childhood club. To finally be with you properly.
Warnings: a bit of angst, fluff
English is not my first language
Masterlist
✧・゚: *✧・゚:* ✧・゚: *✧・゚:* ✧・゚: *✧・゚:*
Girl, I never loved one like you
✧・゚: *✧・゚:* ✧・゚: *✧・゚:* ✧・゚: *✧・゚:*
You grew up in Munich. Everything you know is there. Your famil. Your friends. Your bestfriend, Sydney. Your club.... Everything you loved was in one place. Exept your home, your lover, Lena Oberdorf. She plays for Wolfsburg. That wouldn't be the problem, even trought its the rival, but Wolfsburg is too far away from Munich, to see each other more then once in a month. And its slowly infecting your realationship.
It's started when you both grow out of the honeymoon phase. That doesn't mean you're stopped being smitten about each other. But the distant made it worse. A 6 hours drive or a one hour flight. It started to come to much.
It wasn't because of the lack of trust you have for each other. You trust each other very much. But you missed the closeness, the cuddles or the kisses. The things you would only get, if you play each other or in the german camp. It was rarely that one come to visit the other. To caught up with training for your clubs.
So everytime the national break started, you follow each other like lost puppies. It's mostly Lena, who follows you everywhere. Her Wolfsburg teammates will tease all the time, when the break is going to start or gets closer. But she doesn't care. She only cares about being close to you.
But you follow her everywhere too. And your teammates tease you about that too. Like obi, you don't care either. You're just happy being with her again.
-
To the problem is only one solution. One has the move clubs. But you both are too stuborn.
"I'm not moving away, liebling. (Darling) I have everything here."
"I change would look on you, baby. You can't always stay in the same place your whole life." Obi argues back on a face time call. It wasn't a fight. More like a discussion, in wich you both bring the same arguments over and over again.
"You know i can't handle change. And it would be a change for you too."
"I know you can't. And i already had a change. I moved from Essen. There wouldn't be so much change. You know half of the from national and you got friends with Lynn."
You look away, to the wall, feeling defeated. "Ha Gotcha, Schatz. (honey)" Obi said happily. "If you move to Bayern, you can play with and see Lea more often." You knew what the Lea card would do. You know that Lena misses to play in the same team as Lea, like in Essen.
"Didn't you wanted to show me your new tattoo idea?" Obi distracts from the topic.
You knew Obi wants to distracts from the topic. She was a bad loser and she knew how right you were, Obi just didn't want to admit that. So you played along.
"What do you think of something like that?" You showed her a page from your sketchbook.
Since then none of you dared to bring up the topic again. In the meanwhile Obi has gotten an offer from bayern munich. She didn't know what to do with it. Should she tell you? Should she ignore it? These question were toturing her mind.
-
Her solution: She's going to ask on national break what you would say if she got an offer from your beloved club.
But unfortunately the right time wouldn't come to Lena. Everytime she was close of telling you something happened. So she finally decide to say it to you no matter what.
She walked into the chill room, wich she knew you mostly are. You were there but you talked with Sydney. She didn't mean to overhear, but she stayed as she heard her own name out if your mouth.
"I love Lena, but i don't know how long it's going to work" Obis face fell. She doesn't want you to think like that. She wants to be with you forever. With sad face she walks away. She talks to you after your conversation with Sydney. But she stopped as she heard Sydney speaking.
"Don't say stupid shit like that. It's going to work out. You both are so smitten and follow each other like lost puppies. It makes me love sick. It's getting to the point to become disgusting."
"Yeah because your Single" you chuckle and on Obis face a smile grows.
"But i'm serious. If you leave, then there would be nothing much different. You still have me and Klara. We still be friends and pull pranks on camp or annoy Laura. Okay? You still got us and the team. We're a big family." Sydney hugs you.
'That's why' Obi realized. You're scared that if you move, your friends will turn their back on you. Obi walked away with smile. Knowing what she's about to do, calling her agent.
-
You were more then suprised as Lena said she will be visiting for a few days, but gadly take it. With Lena being in Munich you were happier. Sydney and Klara took notice of it and asked themselves why. But they got the answer, when Lena picks you up from training.
"Hope it wasn't too boring, being alone." You kissed Obi. After you two broke apart, you hugged her. Behind your back Sydney, Klara and Georgia made gagging faces. Lena rolled her eyes at them.
"No it wasn't, Liebling" It really wasn't. It was exhausting. She was talking with the club, her agent and the Bayern coach. All to negotiate her move to Bayern Munich.
-
The day she signed the contract she had mixed feelings. The tought of leaving Jule behind haunted her. But the blonde told her to go, to get her girl. It made Obi feel a bit better about it, but not fully. The other side was excitment. To be near you. To kiss you everyday. To cuddle with you. To cook with you. To do everything with you.
-
Before the national camp in february the romurs of Lenas move spread over. You saw it too, of course. You didn't know how to feel. There was hope, but you knew to not trust rumors. And Obi wasn't a help either. She only said that she didn't know how or why there are rumors. It broke her heart to see your face fell, just to cover it up quickly with a smile.
-
On the 14th february her move to Bayern will be officinal. She came to munich for the day, because of valentines. She knew you had a came on the evening, so she took you on a date for lunch. The whole day you weren't allowed to look on your phone. You wondered why and asked her. She only told you it would ruin her suprise.
After lunch in your favourite restaurant she took you to your favourite park, in wich you finally were allowed to look on your phone. You looked confussed at her but did anyway.
"Now go on insta"
"Obi what have you done?"
"Nothing" she smiles at you.
You looked on your phone your confussed look turned into shock. You looked up at Obi, who smiled slyly at you. "Suprise?"
"You fucking idiot. I love you" You run to Lena and hug her. "But why would you do that? You didn't had to"
"I know. But i love you. And Bayern didn't Sound that bad." With that she kisses you. Happy play with you next season and to in with you

A love like in the Christmas movies II Lea Schüller x Reader
Tumblr media
romantic masterlist | platonic masterlist | word count: 1133
summary: Lea and Reader do a cozy Christmas movie marathon together. requested
author's note: Dear readers, have you spot the easter eggs from met someone ? Nonetheless, enjoy the fanfic. 🫶🏻🫶🏻
Everything was set for a great Christmas movies evening, the overhead lights were out, instead fairy lights and candles turned everything into a warm glow including your girlfriend’s and your face. It was perfect until a phone call interrupted the peaceful atmosphere.
“Wait, I’ll just take the call and then I’ll make us two cups of hot chocolates.”, Lea promised.
With an innocent smile on your lips, you asked her: “Okay. With marshmallows too?”,
 “Of course.”, she loved warmly.
“Thank you.”, you mouthed still smiling as the blonde answered the phone call.
The Bayern Munich player didn’t expect to hear her friend this evening, the brunette was on the mission to find love in a queer bar which Georgia recommended. From the disappointment in Lena’s voice she could tell that it wasn’t going according to plan.
While the minutes’ passed by Lea was looking longingly at you cozying up in her sweater on the sofa, oh, what the forward would do to be back in your arms to watch a few Christmas movies sipping some hot beverage.
“Tomorrow at my place? I’ll cook a lot of hot chocolate and then we’ll watch a stupid romcom?”, the blonde offered her best friend.
“Didn’t you do that today already.”, the midfielder returned the question in a teasingly tone turning the older players cheek soft pink.
Touché, Lena knew her teammate all too well. Even though the younger woman mocked her lovingly, she agreed to come the next evening to do exactly what the striker suggested.
“Was that Lena?”, you asked your girlfriend curiously once the blonde ended the phone call.
“Yes, Lena’s not coming, the finding love in a bar sadly didn’t work out for her, but that means more space for us on the sofa. Do you want some Lebkuchen along side the hot chocolate.”, Lea nodded.
“Homemade or shop bought?”, you questioned.
“Sorry, I’m a very busy person just like yourself, so it’s not baked by me.”, your girlfriend chuckled, putting some gingerbread biscuits on a festive plate as the blonde waited for the drinks to be ready.
“That’s okay. I don’t trust your baking skills yet anyway.”, you teased smirking referring to the first time you properly met each other.
“Oh my god, it’s hard to cook while being filmed by such a gorgeous woman behind the camera, okay?”, she protested, her cheeks turning into an even deeper pink which you thought looked adorable on her.
“Oh, yeah sure.”, you replied and laughed nervously. Receiving compliments wasn't exactly one of your strengths. Although you knew that the striker meant every sweet word that crossed her lips.
To show that she was serious about it, she gave you an encouraging smile as she finally handed you a Christmas mug. “Trust me.“
“At least your hot chocolate is good.“, you subtly changed the topic after you took a sip from the hot chocolate, careful not to burn your mouth.
“It is, right? Have you chosen a Christmas movie yet?”, Leah asked while sitting back down on the sofa.
“I have. I hope you like it too.“, you nodded and pressed play.
You were not surprised that she recognised the movie within the first few minutes.
“Happiest season?”
“Yes?”, you confirmed, uncertain if she even liked the movie.
Lea tilted her head as if she was considering your choice for a moment. “I mean sure. Even though Audrey Plaza and Kristen Stewart should have ended up together, so if they ever do a part two and you direct it, it needs to be about them getting together.“
You tried hard not to laugh as you reminded her: “Lea, I do sports documentaries.“
“Just saying.“, she shrugged.
“Okay, I will tell my agent that she should keep an eye out for that.“, you joked.
Lea nodded with a grin: “She better should. I know you would do a better job.“
“You think so?”, you laughed.
“Yes.“
But you could tell that Leas thoughts were somewhere else all of a sudden. She had been staring at the plate of chocolate covered gingerbreads without saying anything else until you realized what was going on.
“Are you calculating how many Lebkuchen each of us get? You’re such a math nerd.“
The striker looked back up at you, her mouth opened in a little offended O. “What do you mean math nerd? Who wouldn’t? I just want to share them fairly.“
“You know what I meant.“, you continued to tease her with a smirk.
Rolling her eyes, she agreed: “Yeah, I do.“
“See.“
You only spend a few minutes watching the movie in silence until Lea asked: “What would happen in a Christmas movie you made?”
You tore your eyes away from the screen, taking a moment to think about that question while Lea watched you curiously.
“Easy. I’d let protagonist A and protagonist B meet three Christmases in a row. The first time A is in a relationship while B is single, the next Christmas it would be the other way around and then on the third Christmas they would finally get together.”, you explained.
Leas eyes narrowed: “Wait, this is our story.”
“Says who?”, you asked innocently.
“So I’m person A.”, Lea concluded.
“Maybe yes, maybe no. Fiction doesn’t work like that, meine Liebe.”, you shrugged. The truth was that it was in fact about the two of you. Two years ago, you had been working on a short documentary about Leas career and immediately found that you liked her but she was in a relationship.
You kept in touch and a year later you accidentally ran into each other again right before Christmas but at that point you were dating someone who you thought could be the right person. Until Lea. And now you were sitting in her living room as girlfriends and discussing if your story would make a good plot for a Christmas movie.
“Yes, it does!”, Lea protested.
“If you say so. You can choose the next Christmas movie.“, you said while pointing towards the TV where the credits flickered across the screen already.
“Okay, fine.“, the football player agreed but instead of taking the remote, she just studied you.
“What? Or… do you want to do something else?”
“I mean I have a few suggestions.“ Her blue eyes lit up as she flashed you an innocent smile.
“Which ones?”
You watched Lea bite her lip in response, a flash of impatience on her face as she got up from the sofa. She gently pulled you up with her and winked: “Let’s go.“
You made your way to the bedroom. The lights on her Christmas tree were still on and the hot chocolate mugs stood forgotten on the coffee table. It didn’t matter. You both waited too long to finally spend this Christmas together.

bayern munich frauen x lena oberdorf x reader
1/6, 2/6, 3/6, 4/6, 5/6, 6/6
summary: the media discovers your role in the girl's lives
Tumblr media
it’s hard to believe that almost a year has passed since that accidental text message dropped you into the middle of bayern's world.
from feeling like an outsider in a new city to becoming close friends—and even more—with some of the best footballers in europe, your life has taken an unexpected but wonderful turn.
your relationship with lena has only grown stronger, and while you still value having your own space and hobbies—like ceramics and ballet—you’re undeniably part of their circle now.
the champions league semifinals against chelsea are just days away, and the energy surrounding the team is electric. everyone is moving around with excitement, and you can’t help but feel proud of your friends.
the girls have worked so hard to get to this point, and even though lena’s not quite ready to return to the pitch due to her acl recovery, she’s made huge strides. you’ve been by her side every step of the way, supporting her through the tough days of rehab and celebrating her small victories.
"soon, you’ll be back on that field, scoring goals," you tell her one afternoon as you watch her go through her stretching routine at the rehab center. it’s become a familiar scene for you—the gym, the quiet focus on recovery—but it’s one you’ve grown to love because it shows lena’s resilience.
lena glances up at you, her blue eyes twinkling with determination.
"you think i’ll be as good as before?"
you smile softly. you weren’t with her, or even known of her, the last time she was on the pitch. the acl injury against austria is something you’ve known about already, but you can’t wait for the day that you can support your girlfriend on the pitch again.
you stepped closer to obi and brushed a stray hair from her face.
"i know you will be. you’re already stronger than you think."
there’s something incredibly comforting about your bond with lena. despite the chaos of the football world, your relationship has a balance—a rhythm that works. you still do your own thing, keeping up with your ceramics, which has become more than just a hobby, and ballet lessons have added a peaceful contrast to the intensity of being around professional athletes.
you also love being a part of their world, even if you aren’t on the pitch with them.
everyone around bayern has gotten used to seeing you around. you’re practically family at this point. from staff to coaches, everyone knows your face, and after signing an nda to ensure you wouldn’t share any of the club’s internal secrets (not that you ever would), the level of trust between you and the team solidified. it felt good, knowing they trusted you that much, and it only deepened the bond you had with them.
the past few months have been about more than just your relationship with lena. you’ve grown closer to all the girls.
when georgia’s birthday rolled around, you decided to plan something special for her—an intimate get-together at your apartment. you invited most of the team, along with a few of georgia’s friends from the tattoo shop she worked at on the side.
the day of the party, your apartment is filled with laughter, music, and the warm smell of food. sydney had helped you set everything up, while lena hung up decorations, joking about how much she loved bossing you around in your own space.
it’s a cozy, intimate setup—exactly what you knew georgia would appreciate. when she walks in, the look on her face is priceless.
"surprise!" everyone yells, and georgia freezes in the doorway, her eyes wide with shock.
you told her to come to your apartment because you needed help setting up a new furniture piece you’ve gotten, so this is a shock to the english woman.
"what the—" she breathes, her gaze darting around the room.
"you guys! no fucking way!” georgia looks at you with a bright smile.
you step forward with a grin, handing her a drink.
"happy birthday, georgia. thought we’d do something a little special."
georgia pulls you into a hug, squeezing tight.
"i can’t believe you did this. you’re the best, y/n. seriously, this is amazing."
the night is full of laughter and inside jokes, with the girls teasing georgia and telling embrassing stories about their games and practices. it feels like family, and watching georgia’s genuine happiness makes all the planning worth it.
every now and then, lena leans over, brushing her hand against your arm or whispering something teasing in your ear, her closeness reminding you of how far you’ve come with everyone.
a few weeks later, though, things take a turn. sydney, who had been eagerly preparing for the champions league semifinal, gets injured during training. it’s a devastating blow, and she’s crushed.
you can see it in her eyes the day she shows up at your apartment, clearly needing a distraction.
"i just… i can’t sit at home and think about it," she admits, flopping onto your couch with a heavy sigh.
everyone else was at practice, which gave sydney major fomo.
"i was so ready for the game in london. and now…"
you sit beside her, your hand resting gently on her shoulder.
"i know how much this meant to you, syd. it’s okay to be upset about it– here."
you open your arms for a hug. she lets out a frustrated laugh when she sinks her body into your arms, staring at the ceiling.
"i just feel like i’ve let everyone down. i worked so hard, and now it feels like it was for nothing. this isn’t the first injury, ya know? with my hip and everything, i feel like i’ve been sitting out a alot. i know its my ankle this time but it feels like it is always something!"
"syd," you say softly.
"you haven’t let anyone down. you’ve given everything to this team, and everyone knows how much you contribute—even if you’re not on the pitch for this match. you’re still part of the team. they all love you, bayern loves you."
she stays quiet for a moment before glancing up at you, a small smile tugging at the corners of her lips.
"thanks. i guess i needed to hear that."
"anytime," you reply, squeezing her shoulder gently.
"how about we get out of here for a bit? lunch on me."
sydney grins, some of her usual spark returning. "you know just how to cheer me up. let’s go."
you take her to a small pizza place by the mountains, and by the time you’re halfway through your meal, sydney’s laughing again, her spirits noticeably lifted.
it feels good to be able to help her through this, even if it’s just with a bit of company and conversation.
then there’s lea, who has become like a sister to you in so many ways. when she asks if you’d like to accompany her to austria for an event her girlfriend is hosting, you don’t hesitate to say yes.
the event is on the fancier side, but you’re just glad that lea wanted your company.
after a long conversation about lea’s olympic journey last year, the topic turned to being about lena.
"you know," lea says softly as you both stand at the edge of the event, people-watching as you finish the cheesecake dessert her girlfriend provided the guests,
"you’re the perfect match for lena. i see the way she looks at you. it’s like you ground her, keep her steady. trust me, its nice. she can be a bit hyper–"
you smile, feeling a blush creep up your cheeks.
"really?"
"definitely," lea says, her tone sincere.
"you’re good for her. and she’s good for you too. you both balance each other out. she brings out your silly side and you help her stay calm. all of the girls notice it, we love you both– even if lena came from the rival team a year ago."
it means a lot, hearing that from lea. she’s been around lena longer than you have. you know about their close bond and have never been threatened by it. they’ve been close since their time at essen and you’re happy lena has people around her.
knowing that lea thinks you’re good for her best friend fills you with a sense of pride and happiness.
life in munich has been better than you ever could’ve imagined. you’ve found not only love with lena but a solid group of friends who’ve become family. but it’s not all as private as you’d like.
the media has started to catch on, especially the woso fan pages. it started with small things—pictures of you sitting beside kathi and lena at bayern games, or with the girls at various events—but soon, the fan pages began to speculate more.
some thought you worked at bayern, especially given how often you were spotted with the team. others guessed correctly that you were dating one of the players. for a while, some fans even thought you were with sydney, but that rumor died out when they realized sydney and sam were more likely involved.
you and lena hadn’t been hiding your relationship, but you also weren’t broadcasting it. you wanted to keep your private life as quiet as possible, but eventually, both of you decided it was time to go public.
it started with a simple photo dump from the both of you on instagram.
the reaction was immediate. comments flooded in from fans and friends alike, most of them supportive, excited, and a little bit nosy. they didn’t know the whole story—how your relationship began with a wrong number—but they didn’t need to.
(yk the drill, pretend its you in the first picture instead)

all they knew was that you and lena were together, and most of them were happy for you.
as you sit on the couch that evening, scrolling through the comments, lena leans against you, her head resting on your shoulder.
"so, i guess the secret’s out," you murmur, smiling as you read through the flood of messages.
"about time," lena replies, her voice soft with amusement.
"i think everyone kind of knew anyway."
you chuckle, setting your phone down and wrapping your arm around her.
"yeah, probably. but i’m glad we did it on our terms."
lena’s hand finds yours in your lap, her fingers lacing through yours as she gives you a gentle squeeze.
"i love you, you know that?"
"i love you too," you reply, feeling warmth spread through your chest.
you smile, pressing a kiss to her temple.
"you’re stuck with me now."
"good," lena murmurs, settling back into your embrace.
it had been months of watching lena work her way back from her acl injury—long, hard months where she pushed herself harder than anyone you’d ever seen. her determination was awe-inspiring, and you’d been there for every part of it, from the tough days at the rehab center to the small victories along the way.
now, today, everything was different.
you’d just picked up your german driver’s license and drove to the bayern training campus to pick her up, feeling a little extra proud of yourself for finally navigating through all the paperwork and classes to get it done.
you didn’t realize that today, lena had something even bigger to share.
when she climbs into the car, there’s something different about her—a quiet excitement simmering under her usual calm demeanor.
as you pull out of the parking lot, you glance at her and notice the way she’s grinning to herself, like she’s holding back a big secret.
"what’s going on with you?" you ask, half-joking, but there’s something in her smile that makes you press for more.
"you look… different."
lena turns to you, her eyes sparkling, and says,
"i got cleared."
you blink, your brain taking a second to catch up.
"cleared? wait huh? like.. you mean… you’re allowed to play again?"
"yes," she says, her grin widening, and you can hear the emotion behind her voice.
without thinking, you slam on the brakes, pulling the car to a stop in the middle of the bayern training campus parking lot. your heart is pounding as you look at her, your hands gripping the steering wheel.
"are you serious? like, actually cleared to play?" you ask, your voice almost shaky with disbelief.
"yes," lena repeats, her smile turning softer, her eyes shining as she looks at you.
"i’m officially back. i’ll be on the squad for the semi-final second leg."
you don’t know what comes over you, but suddenly you’re unbuckling your seatbelt, reaching across the console to pull her into a tight hug. your arms wrap around her shoulders, and you press kiss after kiss to the top of her head, unable to stop yourself.
"lena, oh my god," you whisper between kisses, your heart overflowing with pride and happiness.
"i’m so proud of you. i knew you could do it. you’re so strong."
lena laughs softly, burying her face in your neck as she returns the hug, squeezing you back just as tightly.
"i couldn’t have done it without you," she murmurs, her voice soft.
you finally pull back, your hands still on her shoulders as you look into her eyes, tears of joy pricking at the corners of your own.
"this is amazing, lena. you’re going to be back on the field. i’m so, so proud of you."
lena smiles, leaning in to kiss you softly on the lips. "thank you," she whispers against your mouth.
you take a deep breath, trying to calm your racing heart as you settle back into your seat. after a moment, you start the car again, your mind already racing ahead to the semi-final.
bayern was down 3-2 on aggregate after the first leg, but now that lena was cleared to play—even if she wouldn’t start—it felt like anything was possible.
"you know," you say, your voice still tinged with disbelief as you drive out of the parking lot,
"i’ve always had faith in you. but this… this is amazing."
lena reaches over to take your hand, her fingers lacing through yours. "thank you," she says softly, squeezing your hand.
the day of the champions league semi-final second leg arrives, and the allianz arena is packed. it feels like the entire city of munich is excited with anticipation, and the atmosphere inside the stadium is electric.
the girls had gotten you a seat right behind the bench, so you had an incredible view of the pitch—and of lena, who was dressed in her bayern kit for the first time in nearly a year.
even though she wasn’t in the starting lineup, just seeing her there, on the sidelines, made your heart swell with pride. she’d worked so hard for this moment, and whether she played or not, you knew this was a victory in itself.
the first half of the game is tense, and the aggregate score still has chelsea ahead, but in the 34th minute, pernille scores an absolute screamer against her former club. the stadium erupts, and you leap out of your seat, cheering and clapping for your friend.
"yes, pernille!" you yell, your voice barely audible over the roar of the crowd. you’re so proud of her, and so proud of all the girls.
the second half kicks off, and in the 50th minute, georgia scores a brilliant header, putting bayern ahead on aggregate. again, the stadium explodes with noise, and you can’t stop yourself from jumping up in excitement.
"2-0!" you scream, your heart pounding with excitement.
"we’re winning!"
as the minutes tick down, the tension in the air grows thicker, and you glance toward the sidelines where lena is warming up. your heart skips a beat as you watch her, laser-focused, going through her final stretches.
it’s the 85th minute, and you can see the murmurs of excitement around you as people begin to wonder if lena will be subbed on.
"is she going in?" you hear someone near you whisper to their friend.
"lena oberdorf is finally playing again!" another person exclaims.
your pulse quickens as you watch her pull on her red home jersey, standing at the touchline, waiting to be subbed in. the crowd is buzzing, and when she’s subbed on for pernille in the 88th minute, the cheers are deafening.
"obiiii!" you shout, a huge smile on your face as you clap and cheer for her.
almost immediately after she’s on the pitch, lena goes in for a clean, hard tackle against mayra ramirez. the crowd gasps, but she gets up quickly, and the ball is cleared.
you breathe out in relief, shaking your head with a grin. it’s like she never left. she’s back, and she’s ready.
the final whistle blows, and bayern wins 2-0 on the night, advancing to the champions league final against manchester city after winning 4-3 AGG. the girls on the pitch are celebrating, hugging each other, and you can’t stop smiling, your heart bursting with pride.
after about twenty minutes, when the celebrations have died down a bit, pernille spots you standing behind the barrier and waves you over.
"come here!" she shouts, her grin wide as she reaches out to help you over the bars.
before you know it, you’re standing on the pitch, the lights of the stadium shining down on you as you search for lena. she jogs up to you, her face glowing with excitement, and you pull her into a tight hug, your heart swelling with emotion.
"i’m so happy to see you back out there," you whisper, your arms wrapped tightly around her.
"you did so well."
lena laughs, pulling back slightly to look at you.
"i only played for six minutes."
"and you crushed it," you say, pressing a kiss to her forehead.
"coming back from an acl injury and getting back out there—that’s amazing, lena. i’m so proud of you."
she smiles, her eyes softening as she leans in to kiss your forehead.
"thank you," she whispers, her voice filled with emotion.
"i couldn’t have done it without you."
you hug her tightly again before making your way around the pitch, hugging each of the girls one by one, congratulating them on their incredible victory. it’s a night you’ll never forget—watching them advance to the final of the biggest competition in europe, knowing how hard they’ve worked to get here.
after the girls head back to the locker room, you climb back into the stands, feeling lighter than you have in weeks. the joy of the win is still buzzing through your veins when your phone buzzes with a message in the group chat.
georgia: madga’s house tonight. celebration. don’t be late.
you smile, knowing exactly what kind of night it’s going to be—laughter, drinks, and endless retelling of every moment from the match.
you get into your car, driving to magda’s house with excitement buzzing in your chest.
when you arrive, the girls are already there, the mood lively and celebratory. magda’s house is filled with the sound of voices, and as you step inside, you’re greeted with hugs and cheers from your friends.
"you made it!" magda says, pulling you into a tight hug.
“of course i wouldn’t miss the best club in the world making it to the final!!” you squeak over the music.
“of course noottt!!” sydney slurs as she puts her arm around your shoulders.
you laugh. yup, she's already tipsy.
"absolutely," you reply, smiling as you make your way through the house, finding lena again and wrapping your arm around her waist.
as the night goes on, you’re filled with a sense of overwhelming gratitude. these girls—your friends, your girlfriend—they’ve welcomed you into their world in ways you never expected.
it’s been almost a year since you’ve been added to their chat, and life has never been better.

Having Arachnid Powers and Dating Lena Luthor Would Include...
Tumblr media
Request
@sandwichitodemilanesa could you please write what would include dating lena, being a kind of spider woman? probably have gotten your power because of Lena's dad or brother experiments to make a superhuman but now you're trying to be a super friend and save the world . thanks  you so much <3
A/N: Hello y'all, sorry for being MIA, honestly adulthood is kinda sucking my soul, but as I've said before I'm still around. This time doing this little piece that was such fun honestly, also I love sandiwichitos de milanesa so I just couldn't ignore it. Thank you so much for the request and I hope you enjoy it! <3
Lena Luthor x Superhero Fem!R/Arachnid Powers/Word Count: 1,388
-------------------------------------------------------
Your story starting the first time Lena ever saw you, you were on the news, stopping a bank robbery.
You were using nothing but a black hoodie, grey pants, a ski mask, and a pair of worn out shoes, and had disappeared before Supergirl could arrive.
The cameras spotted you swinging your way out through the building of National City, using what at first she imagined were hook-shots.
Like the rest of the city, she started seeing you more often on the news with growing curiosity as you helped all citizens.
The news outlets trying to come up with names for you; "The Human Spider", "The Web Slinger", "The Wall Crawler", "Arachnid Woman".
Your first close encounter with Lena was during a supervillian attack on L-Corp. The top floors were crumbling while Supergirl was fighting and you appeared, saving all the people from the falling debris, including her.
You carried her in your arms as you used your webs to pull you down to the ground, keeping her safe but leaving before she could say anything.
She and the whole DEO searching for you after that, wanting to know who you were and where you came from.
Lena investigating you but coming to dead ends, trying to understand you and your powers from what she sees in the news and DEO reports.
Losing hope after many months only for you to swing to her office balcony one night as she looked down the city.
"I believe you and your friends have been looking for me."
"Mostly me, but yes."
"What for?"
"I wanted to thank you, for saving my life."
Distrusting Lena initially due to personal reasons and avoiding further contact but slowly getting used to her as you came to her aid several more times.
"We should stop meeting in life threatening situations, Miss Luthor."
"We certainly should, and I still don't know your name."
"I guess you can call me (Y/N), for now."
Warming up to her and even visiting her a few times at her office. Always reaching her floor by crawling on the side of her building or swinging with your webs to avoid being spotted.
You always work this late, Miss Luthor?
I could ask the same.
You know what they say, crime never sleeps.
Lena noticing more and more of how your powers work, even making you a suit to help you out, leaving it on her balcony with a little note after leaving early from work one day.
Smiling at the gesture and the news making noise about your new look the next day, giving you new superhero names and such.
Going to her office more often and starting to enjoy your small conversations with her and the balcony kind of becoming your meeting place.
Finally building enough trust to tell her who you were and explain how you got your powers.
Telling her you had been very sick, almost too far gone a few years back, when her brother offered you some sort of experimental treatment for your illness. You accepted and Lex brought you to Luthorcorp.
Little did you know, her brother had been running illegal and dangerous human experiments in there.
You had woken up in a cryosleep chamber years later in a secret facility, as you had been the only survivor of his experiments and the only one who seemed to assimilate your new given powers correctly.
"I had nothing and nowhere to go but I didn't want to use my powers to take advantage of people."
Lena offering you a place to stay and helping you go back on track with your life.
Supergirl and Alex also offering you a place in the DEO but refusing as places like that bring you bad memories but offering your help back in case they need it.
Having a bit of trouble adapting your new life with the superhero gig going on but Lena helping you as best as she can with everything you need.
"What if I say I need a million dollars?"
Lena discovering your funny dorky side.
Your relationship with Lena growing over time as she helps you settle as the newest heroine of National City.
Lena helping you design your supersuit and inventing new devices for you.
"I think I need to come up with a superhero name. People are starting to call me 'The Tarantula' and 'Black Widow'."
"Mmh, maybe you would like something more classic?"
"Like what?"
"How about… 'Arachne'?"
Her choosing your new name and going along with it.
Visiting her regularly when the city seems calmer and conversing for hours in her balcony.
Developing a soft spot for her and finally inviting her to move with you through the city.
"You know I have a driver and a car, right?"
"Swinging is faster, you can avoid a lot of traffic."
Lena actually enjoying the rides with you, although only the short ones.
Lena introducing you to the Superfriends.
"So, spider powers, uh? What's that exactly? Extra eyes? Extra legs? Can you stick to any surface?"
"No extra limbs as far as I'm aware…and I suppose I can stick to anything, uh, so far?"
"Cool. And the web, does it come from-?"
"Alex, stop."
"I'm just asking. What? As if you aren't curious too."
Lena helping you train and taking the chance to analyze and help you with your own powers.
She realizing she worries about you the more you get involved in fights to protect National City, particularly when Kara isn't in town.
She being the one to patch you up at your place when you don't want to stay at the DEO.
"You should see the other guy. The other guy, in this instance, being a killer croc."
Lena visiting your place and spending more time with you outside her office and the DEO.
Putting more attention to her and her safety when a fight or battle breaks lose.
Realizing after many of those you like her more than you think and going to her balcony one night to confess your feelings.
Lena admitting the same and being happy about it as you ask her to go on a date with you.
Spending your first date with Lena watching the sunset from the highest place of the city after a rooftop picnic.
Lena making sure to leave L-Corp early to spend more time with you.
Helping each other when there are criminals on the loose and being very protective of Lena if there's any after her.
Upside down kisses.
Taking her to dates by swinging around the city and her offering her limousine from time to time as a way to spoil you.
Making it official and the Superfriends being really supportive and happy for you.
Being awkward and nerdy around each other.
Very interesting moments in bed.
Grabbing food or coffee for her any chance you can so you can visit her at her office.
Dates on her office balcony also becoming a regular thing.
Sticking upside down out of her window and knocking at it at the end of her office hours to take her home.
Enjoying swinging around the city just to keep her clinging to you.
"You better hold on tight, spider-monkey."
"Is that a Twilight reference? I shouldn't have let Kara convince us to watch those."
Lots of game nights with the Superfriends and always teaming up with Lena.
Lena being your unofficial handler and she always being on your side whatever happens on your fights and missions.
You always supporting Lena and her ideas, but knowing when to call her out when things feel out of hand.
She doing the same with you, particularly when you feel responsible for everyone.
"I'm sorry, (Y/N), sometimes the hardest thing about this is you can't always save everybody."
Hugs so tight and long they feel like home.
Leaving Lena huge messages around different spaces of the city written with your web. Mostly hearts with her initial in the middle.
Being really close and intimate on your alone moments.
Always coming to aid the Superfriends when they need you or teaming up with Alex and the DEO.
Lena spoiling you with new gadgets and even making you a new suit with nano-tech.
"Like Kara's, but way cooler."
"Oh yes, but don't let her hear you say that."

Kara’s jealous of Lena’s relationship with James. What happens when she learns what’s really been going on?
——————————
Kara regrets ever telling Lena to date James. At the time, she thought it would be bad of her as a friend to not support Lena, but dear Rao, she hates seeing them together.
It’s been months of them dating. Lena doesn’t share a lot about their relationship to Kara, or to anyone for that matter. They seem happy, or at least comfortable with one another, but something about seeing them together irks at the Kryptonian.
And to be honest, it’s more than just Kara having feelings for Lena. At first, Kara thought jealousy skewed her perception; that she was looking for issues where there were none. She’s come to terms with the fact that she’ll always love Lena, that Lena will never care for her back, but she cannot let go of the nagging thought that something was wrong about Lena dating James.
When Kara first met Lena, James was one of the staunchest opposers to their budding friendship. Even a year later when Lena purchased CatCo, James was more than weary of not only her last name, but her presence in general.
Then, all of the sudden, James is attracted to Lena? Wanting to date her as if he had not vehemently rejected even the very idea of her, minimized her individuality, labeling her as just another Luthor.
It makes no sense. Illogical in every form of the word, but Kara bit her tongue, trying to be the best friend she could to both parties.
It isn’t until Lena starts pulling away from Kara that she actually begins to watch how James and Lena interact.
At CatCo, it’s very professional. They don’t spend extended amounts of time alone and Lena certainly doesn’t play favorites. One of Lena’s main concerns before they started dating was the fact that she is James’s boss, so this makes sense.
I assume it’s the same at L-Corp. I mean, I’ve never seen or heard James there apart from when he was supposed to look in Lena’s vault.
Speaking of the vault, damn did Kara screw that situation up. She should’ve just trusted that Lena didn’t have any more kryptonite. She should’ve trusted her reason for why she had kryptonite. The PTSD from previous exposure has certainly clouded her mind a bit. She knew Lena had never wanted to hurt her and yet, she let her emotions lead her. Sending Guardian to essentially break in was her most reckless act of jealousy to date. It drove a bigger wedge between Supergirl and the youngest Luthor that Kara fears they’ll never recover from.
It’s right after this debacle that Lena begins to cancel movie nights and lunches out with Kara. It’s gradual at first. Kara knows the CEO is much too busy to make it to every one of their plans, and on more than one occasion, Kara herself has had to call for a rain check. But when the rescheduled dates turn into cancellations and rejections, Kara does start to take it personally.
It has to be me, right? She still comes to game nights and out to drink once in a while, but it’s like she doesn’t leave James’s side.
The blonde sees an opening one evening while the brunette is refilling glasses in the kitchen. While the others are busy arguing over what game to play next, Kara slips into the kitchen, leaning against the counter next to Lena.
Kara isn’t quite sure how to start the conversation. She stands there for a moment picking at her fingers before blurting out a rushed, “Are you okay?”
The brunette pauses in her reach for another bottle of beer. It’s the only indication in her body language that Lena has heard her.
“I’m fine,” she says plainly, resuming her task.
“Are…are we okay?” Kara asks next.
“What do you mean? Of course we’re okay,” she replies dismissively.
“I dont, I mean… did I do something to offend you?”
Lena must see something she doesn’t like in Kara’s pleading eyes. Her shoulders loosen and she breathes out a soft sigh.
“I haven’t meant to be distant. It’s just…James made some comments about me not spending enough time with him. I’ve been trying to make it up, but in the process I’ve hurt you. I’m sorry, Kara. Truly.”
Lena sounds apologetic and Kara can’t really fault her. She’s been in that position before with Mon-el; wanting to please a partner can sometimes make maintaining other relationships difficult for a time.
“It’s okay; I understand. Don’t worry about it,” Kara assured her, laying a hand on Lena’s arm for a moment before helping her carry the drinks back to the living room.
I should just be patient. It’s only been a few months; everything will go back to normal soon.
*************
It’s been two more months, and somehow Kara feels the situation has gotten worse. Lena has just become plain dodgy. She hardly accepts Kara’s calls, answers texts vaguely, and on the rare occasion she sees her in person, it’s only been with James wrapped around her.
Kara tries to mind her business, knowing it can be intrusive to listen in on people’s private conversations. Yet, she doesn’t need super hearing or x-ray visions to see how tense her friends always seem.
James puts on the cool guy exterior; calm, collected, confident. But Kara can pick up micro expressions even the most trained specialists couldn’t decipher. The looks were usually in relation to Lena. Whether it be her jobs, businesses, opinions, or her family, James always seemed to be irked by her.
Kara hated it.
She hated every second of seeing them together. It reminds her of the start of her friendship with Lena; James vehemently opposed to Kara befriending the young Luthor.
Every time the thought crossed her mind, she feels her heart beat increasing and a minimal tinge of heat vision creeping behind her eyes. Many glasses have been the victim of her temper lately. More than once, she’s had to excuse herself from group settings to cool down.
Alex thinks it’s just Kara being overprotective, that she’s reading too much into it and being too sensitive. But Kara knows in her heart that James and Lena aren’t right for one another. She doesn’t want to overstep by inquiring about it with Lena (that’s if she would even give me the time of day to talk), so she watches as the love of her life slowly fades from her reach into the arms of another, praying to Rao Lena will return to her one day.
*************
Though it has been several weeks and the Children of Liberty have gone underground for now, Kara is still reeling from her near-death experience on Shelly Island. She felt such undeniable rage at James for getting them both in that situation. She may have accepted his apology, but her trust in him is broken indubitably.
The moment James dawned the mantle of Guardian, Kara knew it would never work out. It was clear he felt inferior, that he needed the adrenal rush of danger to feel like he was making a difference.
This is exactly why I didn’t want humans acting as vigilantes.
Kara tries to keep her “god complex”, as Lena so eloquently said, in check. It’s not her place to police humans, but dear Rao, has is been more of a hassle to have another vigilante in the mix.
Not only has he been more of a hindrance in the field, now that he’s making headlines by revealing his identity and essentially co-signing the Children of Liberty, he’ll never be fully safe. If not for Lena, he would’ve been charged and arrested.
He hasn’t even thought about his friends and family. About Lena. It would be more than easy for the public to associate his alliance with the Children of Liberty and their anti-alien rhetoric with the Luthors. Hadn’t Lex put her through enough? Hadn’t he seen how his actions could be a trigger for Lena?
It’s incredibly hard for Kara to remain impartial. To keep her thoughts to herself as everyone else goes on about their lives while hers remains stagnant.
Now that she has a better handle of her duties as a reporter and a hero, she is able to better manage her time when she gets to be just Kara. With her group of friends being pulled in so many directions, and without Lena to spend a lot of one on one time with, she’s beginning to pick up hobbies she once had to set aside in favor of being Supergirl.
Kara busies herself painting at human speed. It’s a calming ritual that helps her to unwind after especially hard days as a hero, or trying days as a reporter.
She focuses on the color theory of her work, deciding which shade of maroon best complements the beryl eyes of her muse. Just as she goes to mix the next set of colors on a clean palette, there is a knock at the door.
I wonder who that could be.
Kara rises from the stool by the window, turning her easel to face the wall before crossing the room to open the door.
The sight that greets her is unexpected. Lena stands in front of her, tears streaming down her red face. Her nose is running, cheeks blotchy, and hair loose. Kara’s never seen her quite so distraught.
“Hey, what’s wrong?!” Kara asks worriedly. Lena only sobs in response, raising a hand to cover her mouth as if surprised by her own response.
Kara ushers her inside, trying to think of a reason for why Lena could be crying so profusely. Closing the door behind her, Kara reaches toward Lena to comfort her. Just as her hand makes contact with Lena’s arm, the brunette jerks away violently holding her arm across her chest. Her eyes are crazed, open wide and bloodshot.
“I’m sorry, I’m sorry!”
Kara doesn’t know what to do. She’s never had to help someone so hysterical. “Lena, what’s wrong? Did I hurt you?”
“N—no. I’m sorry,” she cries backing away until she hits the wall.
Kara takes two steps back. She hold her hands out in front of her, trying not to come off as a threat.
“Breathe, Lena,” she instructs. “You have to calm down.”
Lena tries to slow her breathing, but she can’t catch her breath. All she can hear is the yelling, the snide remarks about her name, feel the press of the wall against her back and hands tight on her arms.
“Lena. Lena! Look at me, baby, can I come closer?” Kara just wants to wrap the brunette in her arms, but she knows from experience that too much too fast can be detrimental in moments like this.
She waits for Lena to answer, to give just one sign of acknowledgment to Kara’s request. All she receives is a jolted nod of acceptance before the brunette is slipping onto the floor. Kara walks closer slowly, approaching her friend like a scared animal. When she is just two feet from the brunette, she drops to her knees.
“Lee, can I touch you?”
She whimpers, face twisted in fear.
What in Rao’s name happened to her?
“Look, match my breathing.” The reporter begins a round of exaggerated breaths, trying to get Lena to breathe in and out with her. It works marginally; Lena finds the rhythm but the breaths are too shaky to be providing any real comfort.
Kara inches closer on her knees, “Good, you’re doing so well, baby. Here, put your hand on my chest. That’s it; good girl.” Her voice is low and soothing, words infused with a calm she herself doesn’t even feel right now.
Lena reaches out with a trembling hand to rest her palm against the hero’s chest. Kara notes that the arm she reached for earlier is still clutched tightly to the CEO’s chest, as if protecting an injury. Kara covers the hand against her chest with her own. She holds it there lightly to showcase the cadence of her own breathing. Her thumb rubs soothing circles against the soft skin of Lena’s hand.
They sit there, cramped on the floor of Kara’s loft for quite some time. When Lena finally catches her breath, her hand tightens on the collar of Kara’s sweater, using the hold to pull herself into Kara’s chest.
The blonde opens her arms for the crying woman, allowing her to crawl into her lap. The shorter woman tucks her head into Kara’s neck, legs pressed tightly to her own chest. She crowds herself into Kara small, small, small, as if she alone could block out the horrors of the world.
“Lee—“
The brunette shakes her head, apparently not ready to speak. Her sobs have hushed to a silent stream of tears falling down her cheeks, but the blonde can still hear the erratic beat of her heart. Kara wraps her arms around the smaller woman, holding her close but not tight enough to constrict.
“I’m gonna stand, okay? Just going to the couch. It’s more comfortable.”
Kara positions Lena better so that she can stand. The hold is awkward with Lena balled up as she is, but it’s no real trouble for the girl of steel. Lena holds tighter, seemingly ready for the short travel to the couch. Kara lowers herself slowly, rather than plopping as she usually does. The reporter sits there, murmuring quiet assurances to Lena. Before long, she feels the body in her arms going limp. Checking her heart, the hero finds it steady, the lub-dub much calmer than when she first arrived.
Kara doesn’t dare to move, wanting to allow Lena the chance to rest after her ordeal. Many scenarios cross Kara’s mind. There isn’t much that truly shakes Lena. When the brunette whimpers, Kara starts to card her fingers through dark locks. She immediately calms under Kara’s gentle caress.
She sleeps for a while longer. Kara continues her ministrations even once Lena rouses. The hero hears her breathing change, but she doesn’t speak until Lena does.
“I’m sorry,” she says into Kara’s chest. Her voice in muffled against the soft material of Kara’s paint-spattered sweater.
“What for?”
“Coming here. I didn’t mean to disrupt your evening, especially after I neglected your text to hang out.”
“Lena, I don’t care about that. You are always welcome here,” Kara assures.
Lena doesn’t reply. She just lays in the safety of her best friend’s arms. Kara allows her a moments peace before addressing the obvious elephant in the room.
Her voice remains calm and even, “Lena, tell me what’s wrong.”
Silence.
“Did something happen today?”
Silence again.
“Lena. You have to work with me here. I know something is wrong. I want to help you, but you have to let me in,” the reporter admonishes lightly, “I want to help you, in any way you need. You just have to let me in.”
A shaky exhale escapes the scientist before she removes her head from Kara’s chest. Her eyes never meet the blondes, but she can absolutely feel her pointed stare as she rolls up the sleeve of her left arm.
The purpling bruises painting her alabaster skin look worse in the hours following their placement. They trail up her arm in ribbons of finger prints. Kara is silent, but Lena feels her body tense into the hardness of a rock.
The brunette glances up at the tanned face of her friend. The first thing she notices is the absence of Kara’s trademark glasses. From her position, she can’t see the entirety of her face, but the hard set of the reporters jaw indicates a great deal of anger. Blue eyes remain focused on Lena’s arm, her free hand moving to trace one mark carefully.
“Who did this?”
The infliction of her voice, it’s so…familiar. It doesn’t sound like the soft upbeat tone the bubbly blonde usually has. The timbre is husky, a low gruff that has the potential scare Lena if it was directed at her.
“Lena. Tell me who did this,” Kara repeats, turning her head so that stormy blue meet glassy green.
Features she’s memorized over the last three years look off. There is something about Kara in this moment that clashes with the image in her mind. Lena doesn’t answer her; only continues to search Kara’s face for the inconsistencies her mind is fighting to recognize.
Kara is growing impatient, she wants to make whoever did this to her beloved pay. She moves her hand to Lena’s jaw, pulling her closer ever so gently. Only inches remain between the two.
“Tell me who hurt you, please,” she whisperers. It’s so soft compared to her tone just a moment ago. A gentle breeze following the tempest of her earlier pleas.
Mismatched eyes flutter closed, silent tears leaking slowly. The broken explanation she delivers is hushed, voice cracking and devolving into choked whimpers every so often.
“He got so upset; angry. I told him it wasn’t right. That he was endangering so many with this facade. He didn’t care; accosted me for not siding with him. I went to leave and he grabbed me. It startled me. All I could see was Lex’s angry face spitting in mine as he raved about aliens and their inferiority, Lillian slapping me for misbehaving, Lionel…”
Kara can’t bear to hear the rest. She places her forehead on Lena’s, pulling the brunette back into the safety of her own body. The urge she has to protect Lena calls to a violent part of herself that she hadn’t experienced since being poisoned with Red Kryptonite all those years ago.
“Shhh. I got you. I’ll fix it. Tell me who did this and I’ll make sure it never happens again.”
The whimpering CEO spits out the answer as if it burned her tongue with its utterance, “J—James.”
Son of a bitch.
He’s finally crossed the line.
There are a lot of things Kara isn’t proud of. Not making it to Earth to raise Kal-el, hiding her alien-ness, failing to observe the all the Kryptonian rites and holidays she’s missed over the last 14 years on Earth. In this moment, she regrets two things more than all the others combined: hiding her identity to Lena, and not putting a stop to this relationship sooner.
“Rao, I’m so sorry—“
Lena feels like her heart has stopped. Her emerald eyes shoot open to stare directly into icy blue. There was only one other time, one other person, who she heard that desperate mention from. This can’t be happening. What the fuck have I gotten myself into.
“S-supergirl?” She stutters, mouth falling open minutely. The pieces connect like a puzzle, fitting in seamlessly with countless memories and quotes: how she could effortlessly carry Lena across the room, the voice, all the excuses to leave lunch early, even “I flew here…on a bus.”
She tries to untangle herself from the hero, but Kara’s strength holds her pretty much in place. “God, I’m an idiot. You… you lied to me! Was this all fake; part of a plan? Did you know this would happen?!” Lena is crying in earnest, voice pitched high and a tremble of fear underneath the thin veil of anger.
“No! I would never do that; you know me, Lena—“
“No I don’t!” She protests, but they fall on deaf ears. She continues her struggle against the impenetrable blonde, becoming erratic at the feeling of being trapped, “Let me go! Let me go!”
Kara gently deposits the woman on the couch. She kneels before her, hands on the couch bracketing both sides of her thighs. “Okay, okay. Please, just listen to me. I was going to tell you. But I got scared. You were already so distant because of James; I didn’t want you be leave me. I’m sorry I lied. I thought I was protecting you.”
Lena immediately protests the statement, “How could you be protecting me? I was already in danger; I have been since the moment I met the Luthors.”
“It feels like every time someone else finds out, everyone who knows becomes open to more danger. I don’t want that. Especially for you.”
Tears still fall, but their flow turns from raging rapids into steady streams. “Why are you saying this? You told me you wouldn’t trust a Luthor with your name.”
“I didn’t mean that—“
“Yes you did! You were angry at me, and you said it to be cruel.”
“Lee, I didn’t mean it. I swear I didn’t! I was hurt, and I lashed out. I’m sorry,” Kara says placing her hands into Lena’s knees and leaning up into her space.
“Don’t lie to me.” She whispers brokenly. The day has been too long, too hard. The earnestness in Kara’s eyes is alluring. So different from the spark of hate and loathing James’s had earlier. The fight drains out of her when the Super presses their foreheads together.
“I’ll never do it again. I’ll tell you everything: about me, about Krypton, how I got to Earth. Khap vrreiahv vo rrip, i shokh nim i.”
I promise to you, my truth is yours.
Lena’s face feels wet, but she doesn’t know if it’s her tears or Kara. “I—I can’t trust you,” she whimpers, voice choked and mouth dry.
“You don’t have to. I wouldn’t deserve it even if you did. I promised to protect you, and I failed. Just let me help you,” Kara avows, running the tip of her nose along Lena’s, around her regal cheek bones and to the shell of her ear.
“I’ll fix this,” she pledges, “You are my everything.”
You are my everything.
The brunette sinks down, holding herself to Kara with her uninsured arm as tightly as she can. “Don’t hurt me. I can’t bear it.”
Kara hugs her back, pressing kiss after kiss to Lena’s dark unruly hair, “Never again, Lena. I’ll take care of you. Khap vrreiahv.”
Always.

Careful where you enter II
Tumblr media
It’s finally here!! Part 2. I've been rather gone from this blog, but I finished this last night at 3 am and I'm trying to get back into writing pace soo here it iss.. Hope you enjoy!!
She kept going to your cell, something was still pulling her to you. To your shiny eyes.
She wondered if it was the reflection of the light or if you had been crying. Maybe it was the colour of your eyes, maybe something unique to your kind.
A kind they knew nothing of.
Somehow you dodged the question every time she asked it. She’d enter the room to ask only that, and she’d leave after telling you about her childhood and her many sleepless nights. Still empty handed.
“What do you want?” She asked, sitting in a little chair in front of you, with the glass playing with her eyes.
You thought about it for a long minute, often humming to yourself as ideas took over your mind. “I want out.”
“I don’t know if I can do that for you.” She said, rather defeated.
The glint in your eyes left, and your gaze dropped to your hands. “Well, it was a long shot anyways,” you smiled. “I think you should leave now, miss Luthor. Thank you for your visit.”
-
A glaring red light coloured the halls of the D.E.O., as Lena found herself wandering once more through the prisoner’s wing.
You had asked her for the codes, and in a forgotten act, she had even given them to you. She remembered your grin and the glint in your eyes, although your words escaped her memories.
“I trusted you,” she said, closing the gate to your cell behind her.
You raised your eyebrow, “That was your mistake, my dear.”
Her breath grew heavy, and her vision blurred itself with tears. “Why?”
“I needed one of them, to get out,” you stated. “You were perfect, darling. It’s in your nature to help people, as it’s in mine to deceive them.”
“But why me?”
“Because you‘re fascinating.”
“No really, why?” She asked again.
“You don’t believe me.” You looked at her. “You, Miss Luthor, are one of the most extraordinary people I’ve ever met. I felt it that very first day you crossed that door. So full of hope and wanting so much love…” You clicked your tongue.
“Is that why you chose me, because I wanted to feel loved? Is that why you tricked me into giving you the codes, because I was easy to fool?” She said, her voice cracking.
“Oh, no. No no no, you mistake me for one of your friends. I chose you because I found you… Irresistible. Because I want you by my side, Miss Luthor.” She rolled her eyes at that, but you paid it no mind. “Being the bad guy can be lonely,” you muttered.
“Well get used to it. Because I will not join you. Not now, not ever.”
You shrugged at her attempt at an insult, “Never say that. Don’t close the opportunities, dear. You’ll come back for me - once you realise who has really been tricking you from the very beginning.”
“What does that mean?”
“Ask Supergirl… Or her sister, they’re both in the building.” Lena got up at that last part, what an unusual set of words. “Unlike me.”
There it was. What Lena didn’t know but had been expecting once she heard it. As she moved closer to you she saw a device on the floor, and a blinking light.
“Don’t let the light trick you, Miss Luthor. You’ll find me, do not worry. We’re connected, you and I,” you told her before the hologram she had been speaking to for the last half hour faded away.
She ran out of the room as fast as she could, making her way into the main hall to speak to Alex.
“Did anything happen, Lena?” The agent asked her.
She bit her tongue, connecting the dots. “Can we talk in private?”
“Of course, this way,” Alex walked with her into an office nearby.
“Are you okay?” She asked Lena.
“I have a question…” Alex nodded so she kept on, “Supergirl. Who is she?”
Alex’s eyes widened in surprise. She had spoken to Kara about it, but it was Kara herself who had to tell Lena. It was her secret.
“Both you and Supergirl have come for my help countless times. I just want to know who I’m helping.”
“Yes. I understand, Lena, I do. I just… I don’t know if I can tell you.” Lena scoffed and Alex raised her arms, trying to stop Lena from walking away. “It’s not my secret.”
“But it is, It’s your secret too. Isn’t it?” Alex tried to talk, but Lena interrupted her. “Yours and Kara’s.”
“How…”
Lena shut her eyes, stopping her tears from falling through her cheeks, and left the office, not uttering one word.
Instead, she started to search for you. She had been staying at the D.E.O., but L-Corp still had some toys.
She found you in an abandoned building, on the last floor. The power shut off, only lit by the night light.
“What did you mean when you said we were connected?” She asked into the room.
“Remember that first day we met,” you said, standing by the opposite wall to her.
“Vaguely…”
You started to walk in her direction, not close enough that she could hurt you. “Well, I remember it perfectly. At least one little part of it.”
“What part?”
“The part where you gave me your name,” you grinned, taking another step in her direction.
It seemed to click in her mind, “You never gave me yours…”
“Of course not, one’s name is their most powerful weapon, or their biggest weakness. Neither of which I’d want people to know.”
“Why did you pick me?” She asked again. “Really this time.”
One more lazy step in front of her, “There’s so much potential.”
She furrowed her brows, trying to see where you were getting at.
“With your brain, and my wit. We could be huge. We could rule the world,” you said, just one step away from her.
She took one in your direction as you grinned, “When do we start?”

so over the weekend (literally two days) i watched 16 of the 18 episodes of season 3....... so here's my thoughts!!!!
i've already professed my love for the characters more than enough but i just need to remind everyone that i am sosososo in love with all these fucking characters, what a truly insanely likeable lineup of different personalities
eddie getting buck to babysit chris so he stops being stuck in a depressive spiral.... genius
the earthquake episodes last season were insane, but the tsunami disaster?????? off the charts. the scenes with buck and chris were fucking beautiful, i love this duo and need more of them NOW. buck cares about that kid so goddamn much. and while tired and injured he saves idk how many more people. the way him and chris are fighting for their lives and then buck is desperately looking for chris all while eddie thinks they're completely safe. eddie was freaking out last season because his son was stuck in a school, but he was calm during this disaster because he was with BUCK. it makes me so emotional. im sosososo glad that i had seen the outcome of chris being found before watching the episode bc idk how people who didnt know that beforehand could handle it. the scene with eddie finding buck with chris' glasses???? im going to start crying. and after all of that for buck being so sure eddie wouldnt trust him anymore only for him to drop off chris again like its nothing?? im going to sob
from what i have read online the lawsuit storyline is a very divisive topic in the fandom. i kind of see both sides. i can see that buck thought his hands were tied and that the only family he had was replacing him. but i know at the same time that it's an overreaction. bobby didnt have any reason to have buck stay on leave for that long when chimney proudly proclaims he went back to work after only a couple of weeks. i understand that bobby cares about buck like a son somewhat, but he was not being fair. buck also shows that he didn't really want to cause as much hurt and friction between them by apologising again and again and not even thinking about accepting the money, going back to the 118 even though he knew they were going to make it difficult for him. it was a tricky situation, but im glad they moved on from it fairly quickly.
the fight club eddie storyline is kind of wild????? also did he ever get any reporcussions from bobby for that??? men will literally do anything but talk about their issues and deal with their feelings. what an insanely gay thing to do.
love eddies conversation with bobby where he starts crying. eddie should cry more often (i say this with love)
lena im in love with you, do you like women?
chris' english teacher is sooooooooooooooooooooooooooo beautiful
i truly love seeing athena and her family grow and change over time. the relationship between bobby and michael is so important to me. i love them together. and michael's tumor storyline??? heartbreaking.
love albert!
chimney and maddie i love you two soso much you deserve the world, youre so imporant to me. chimney respecting maddies boundaries no matter what.... im gonna cry (A BABY?????????)
the episode of 911 dispatch being taken over might just be one of the best episodes of the series. i especially loved that we got to see characters that other times didnt get as much screentime. LOVE LOVE LOVE JOSH!!!
the athena begins episode is heartbreaking. and beautiful. the closure at the end, with her telling emmet's mother that they made an arrest. how beautiful. really well done. she never gave up on finding that man.
the eddie begins episode is also beautiful. him cutting the fucking rope???? idk how they want me to believe that he swam to safety but whatever..... anyways he loves chris so much and we got to see more of his and shannon's marriage which i loved. to be fair, he was kind of a shitty father and definitely a shitty husband, shannon was clearly not ok and i understand why she left. doesnt make it right, but i understand it. when he gets stuck underground and buck starts losing his mind, screaming, crying, throwing up and bobby gives him /that/ look. oh kill me now. that man was gonna dig by hand .... i love them.
the episode of buck helping that old veteran feel important and not alone at the end of his life? im going to start crying again. buck truly believes that no one will ever love him or choose him or stay with him forever.
michael talking to harry about what being black means when they encounter police was incredibly moving and heartbreaking. but also important. i just love athena's family.
hen hitting that cello girl with the ambulance...... oh i cried so hard, my heart broke for her. karen and her are so amazing together i love them so much, they truly are each other's rock.
i love the buckley siblings. i love the side characters. i love the main characters. i have so many thoughts.
abby....i understand that she had to get away from everything to find herself ok? but she shoudlve just texted or sent a letter to buck just to give him closure and not let him keep haunting her apartment. i dont like them as a couple, this shit has clearly hurt buck deeply and will not be easy for him to get over. she didnt really seem all to apologetic either at the end. i get it but also why did u have to hurt buck by not ever responding and ghosting him????
got so many funny and beautiful scenes this season, it was amazing!!! truly loved every character. it had that gay ass buddie kitchen scene... lol
but anyways....im already done with two episdoes of season 4 so bye

Tracer With A Pregnant S/O✮
.·:*¨༺ ༻¨*:·.
“I don’t think I’m ready,” you say to Lena, looking at the exam room doors, wanting to make a run for it. “You’re worrying too much, love; it’ll be okay." Lena gently holds your hand, waiting for Dr. Ziegler to make her appearance. As you look down, you hear the exam room door open. In walks Angela with a sad face. You look up at her grim expression, already dreading what she has to say. The doctor strides over to her chair, and she plops down with a huff, looking at her tablet. “I do have bad news,” Angela sighs, not wanting to break the news to two of her most trusted coworkers and, more importantly, her friends. Lena tightens her grip on your hand, trying to comfort you and herself. You both wait patiently for the news. “The likelihood of you getting pregnant is not high due to the past injuries you sustained during your mission to Europe a few months ago. I’m so sorry, I wanted this to be good for you two,” she says slowly, giving you and Lena time to process. Both Lena and your eyes start to water. “Is there any chance at all? All we want is one child,” your wife says, hoping that this news was just an awful prank. Dr. Ziegler looks down at her tablet to re-read her results. “Of course there’s a chance, Lena; it’s just going to take a lot of patience and hope,” Angela says, looking back up at you both. You look at your wife with a sad smile. “At least there's a possibility,” you say, trying to be optimistic.
Two months after that dreadful appointment, your wife has to take leave. Lena didn’t want to leave you alone since you were going under IVF treatment, but sadly, she had to tend to her duties. Lena called, facetimed, and texted you every day, never once forgetting to keep in touch. After one of these checking-in calls from your wife, you noticed a notification on your phone. Your period tracker app sent a notification to you saying you were late. You open the app and realize you’ve been late for a week and a half. You get up from your bed, wondering if this could be it. You run to the bathroom and grab an unused test from under the cabinet. As you test yourself, you say a little prayer, hoping this could be it. No more negative tests; no more disappointed gazes from Lena. You sat the test over to the side, waiting for the results. You clean yourself up and pace your room. You stare at your phone, watching the time change. The time can’t seem to go any slower. The moment the timer rings, you’re rushing to grab that test that’ll determine your mood for weeks to come. You could feel yourself almost dropping the test in shock; it was positive. Your eyes started to water in relief and joy. Finally being able to bring a child into the world with the woman you loved the most. You were so excited to tell Lena. You were thinking of all the ways you could. Maybe a cake, or a card, or maybe throw a little party, but all those ideas didn’t feel personal enough. You settled on just handing her the test as a present. Knowing Lena was going to be home in a few days excited you. You couldn’t wait to show her.
Three days later, you were scurrying in your kitchen, trying to cook a welcome home meal for your wife. As you finished plating the dishes, you heard the knob twist and the door shut with a thud. You quickly wipe your hands off on a nearby towel and head towards the front door. Lena looks tired but bursts into a smile at the sight of you. You looked absolutely glowing, just as beautiful as she left you. “Hi, love,” Lena says before you launch yourself into her arms. “I missed you so much,” you mumble into her shoulder as she squeezes you harder. “It sure smells good in here,” remarks Lena as she pulls back and pecks your cheek with a soft smile. “I did make you a small meal, just to welcome you back,” you say, grabbing her hand to lead her towards the set dining table. Lena stares at the meal and candles before her, wondering what she did to deserve such a lovely wife. “You shouldn’t have,” Tracer says softly. “But I wanted to, come on, sit before the food gets cold,” you remark as you playfully push Lena to her seat. She lets out a chuckle at your impatience. You grab the wine from the counter, pouring a small glass for your wife, knowing she needs it. “Thank you, dear,” Lena says appreciatively. Your meal went well: there was light conversation, good food, and a briefing on the crazy events from Lena’s mission. As Tracer sips her wine, letting her meal settle, she notices how you seem a bit nervous. “The wine is delicious; where did you get it?” Lena asks as she eyes your full glass while taking a sip. “Oh, just at the local supermarket,” you retort, trying not to seem suspicious. “You’ve barely touched yours,” Tracer retorts playfully. “I’m trying to drink more water,” you say, gripping your water glass to convince her. Tracer eyes you oddly but just shrugs. You can feel your nerves get worse as you sip your water and work up the courage to tell her. You decide to get it over with. “Lena, I have something for you,” you tell her as you grab the small present box from under your chair. “Oh, a present for me? I feel guilty now; I should've brought you something back,” Lena huffs with a pout. You giggle and pass over the small box to your wife. She shakes it jokingly, trying to figure out what you could’ve possibly gotten her. She opens the present and slowly peels back the tissue. Immediately, Lena’s eyes gloss over; she’s speechless for a moment. You watch her expression with excitement and anxiety. “How long have you known?” Lena mumbles. “About four days,” you retort. Lena immediately jumps up from her seat and tackles you with a hug. Instantly, she starts peppering kisses all over your face. “We’re going to be moms,” Lena excitedly yells, shaking you a bit. “Yes, we are. We’re going to be the best moms ever,” you say, giving your wife a gentle kiss.
Five months into your pregnancy, and you’re ready for it to be over. Between the morning sickness, hormones, and pain, you want this baby out of you. Lena has been so good through this pregnancy that she’s taken more time off of work to help you. Lena is the cool and collected one; she helps ease your never-ending anxiety about your future and your baby. You had just found out you were having a little girl. Tracer couldn’t be more thrilled. She immediately started decorating the baby's room and telling everyone about her soon-to-be daughter. “What do you think about Leah?” Lena asks, looking over at you from her side of the bed. “Doesn’t that sound a bit too similar to yours?” You ask with a cheeky grin. "Nuh-uh,” Lena says, rolling her eyes with a pout. “What about Luna?” Lena asks hopefully. “That’s a little common, don’t you think? You retort, returning your gaze to your phone. “How about Lydia?” Lena exclaims, looking back at you from the baby names book she bought a few weeks ago. “You really have a thing for L names,” you claim. Lena sighs with a feeling of hopelessness about figuring out what to name your child. A few moments pass by before you softly say to your wife, “Lydia is a beautiful name." Lena breaks into a smile. She rolls closer to you and presses her face and hands onto your bump. “Do you hear that little one? Your name is Lydia,” Tracer says as you giggle at her antics. “I’m so ready to meet you, Lydia,” Lena says, placing a kiss on your bump and imagining the life you will have ahead of you three.
Soon enough, your wish came true. The day was here; your baby was going to enter the world. You had gone into labor during the night, waking Lena up in a panic. Grunting in pain, you whine about your water breaking. Lena immediately hops up and grabs the hospital bag for you. She’s calm and comforting. She helps you put on your shoes and leads you to the car. On the way to the hospital, Lena tries everything she can to help distract you from the pain. She talks you through breathing exercises and reassures you that it’ll be worth it in the end. As you make your way into the hospital, Lena keeps her hand on your back, supporting you as she checks you in. Seven grueling hours later, your baby was finally almost out. Your wife had stayed beside you the whole time, holding your hand, wiping the sweat off your brow, and giving you soft kisses as an affirmation. “One more push, and she should be out,” the doctor says as the nurses prepare for the oncoming baby. You push with all your might, grunting and gripping Lena’s hand so hard that you’re almost sure you’ve broken it. “You got this, love,” Tracer whispers as she rubs your knuckles with her hand. All of a sudden, you hear a sharp cry. “There she is,” the doctor says, passing the baby to the nurses for a moment to clean her up a bit. Your tears instantly change from pain to joy and love at seeing your child. The nurse puts the baby on top of your chest. “Hi, Lydia,” you softly say to your baby, trying to soothe her with tears in your eyes. You look over at your wife, wondering why she’s so quiet. Lena is sobbing, fully crying her eyes out. “Honey, you can touch her,” you say, encouraging Lena to meet her daughter. “She’s so beautiful,” Tracer whispers through her sobs. She’s so happy, she can hardly contain herself as she rubs the baby’s back. “Your mommy loves you so much,” you say to Lydia, cradling her small form. A nurse comes to pick up your newborn, needing to finish cleaning her off and taking her vitals. “We did it; we’re going to be moms,” Lena says, crying while holding onto you. “The best mom ever,” you joke as you give your wife a much-needed kiss.

Hi there! Are you still open to 100 days of fic prompts? Wondering if you'd take a stab at Lena worrying that she and Kara are too different to be together romantically and Kara insisting that they complement each other
this is a very old prompt, from back before my relationship ended and i was trying to impress my ex with fic everyday, but i am trying to write more so here’s a little bit of angsty fluff for funsies
When she finally had the presence of mind to pull the knife wedged between her shoulder blades, the remnant of the shattered trust between herself and Kara, she’d come to an all-encompassing conclusion: there was no such thing as love.
There couldn’t be.
(Because if there was such a thing as ‘love,’ then she rather thinks Lex would’ve stayed sane, her mother would have treated the girl she raised as her own, her friends wouldn’t have left her, and Kara…Kara wouldn’t have lied.)
But as the months dragged on and forgiveness became less of a long shot and more of a question of when, her thoughts on love began to evolve. Now, Lena is a scientist. And so, after careful consideration and thorough research, she decides that the thing people call love is merely chemical reactions in her brain, associating Kara’s presence with feelings of happiness and safety. A drug, really. And like any drug, the best way to cut her dependence is to remove the drug from her life and consistently remind herself why the drug is so dangerous to her health.
(She had not reckoned for the fact that this particular drug can advocate on its own behalf, and is very much not on board with the notion of ‘quitting.’)
“I don’t really understand what you mean,” Kara says, standing in Lena’s living room in her skin tight blue suit, red cape hanging listlessly behind her, leaving very little of Kara’s curves to the imagination.
Lena has to physically shake her head, blinking furiously in annoyance at the chemicals in her brain.
“What’s so confusing?” she asks, a question she really wishes sounded angry and hurt, but comes out as confused as Kara looks. Because if she’s honest, she’s not sure she knows what she means either. Just that she can’t think with Kara so close.
“I said I love you,” Kara says, voice clear and unafraid, those three words ringing in Lena’s ears, momentarily making thoughts hard. “I said that it’s been a while since I worked my back to being friends with you. But that I want more.” She steps towards Lena, who takes several steps back, causing Kara to huff but stop. “I asked how you felt, and all you’ve done is list all the possible reasons we’re not good for each other. But that’s not an answer, Lena.”
“But listen,” Lena says, swallowing. “Have you considered that you love potstickers and I don’t?”
“I don’t really care, that just means more for me when we order in.”
Lena’s eyes narrow at the easy solution. “Okay. Fine. What about the fact that you don’t like my taste in novels?”
“Lena, I want to go out with you, not the trashy romance books you read. What does that have to do with anything?” Kara asks, clearly exasperated.
“Right, but those books give unrealistic expectations of love and romance and I—”
“—then I’ll read all your favorites and will show you love the way you want to be loved.”
Lena’s heart hammers away, and she makes the mistake of looking away briefly, trying to come up with another excuse, unsurprised when Kara is approaching her slowly—like she’s a spooked deer or a cat with trust issues—giving her ample time to move away or tell Kara off.
She does neither.
“Lena. I love you,” Kara says in barely a whisper, now only inches away from Lena. “Can you please tell me what this is all about?”
“Everyone I love and who was supposed to love me has let me down. And I…” She trails off, closes her eyes, and presses her forehead to Kara’s strong shoulder, gripping her wrists as tightly as she can. “And I don’t know if I’m broken and am unloveable or if love isn’t real and—it was hard enough after finding out you’re Supergirl. I can’t do it, I can’t lose you again. Not you too.”
For a moment, there’s nothing but the sound of Kara’s breathing intermingled with Lena’s struggle to avoid breaking down into sobs. Then, strong arms wrap around her and hold her tight, enveloping her in the scent of flowers and sunshine and warming her from head to toe.
And embarrassingly, Lena’s chemicals send a single thought through her brain: home.
“I know I let you down,” Kara says, a gentle hand shifting and then fingers threading through Lena’s hair. “And I can’t promise I’ll never let you down, because I’m not perfect. But I do promise you will never lose me. As long as you’ll have me, in whatever form that is, I’ll be right here. Okay?”
And there’s so much more to say, so much more to figure out. Lena desperately wants to say those three words back, wants to pull away just enough to kiss Kara hard enough that she can feel the way those chemicals in Lena’s brain have altered her being, wants to confess every single dark thought she’s had from the moment she found out Kara’s secret and all the lies she told.
But instead she lets out a watery laugh.
“But you have a preference in what form I’ll have you, right?” she asks, knowing the answer, knowing that her answer is the same, knowing maybe forgiveness alone isn’t enough yet for them to take that next step.
“Oh Rao, obviously I have a preference,” Kara whines as she pulls away, grinning when she catches Lena’s smile.
And Lena’s pretty sure that next step will come sooner than either of them think.

TMAGP EP 16 REACTION (SPOILERS)
CELIA HOLDING ALICE HOLY SHIT MAN THE SAMALICELIA POLYCULE IS GOING SOMEWHERE I also think this might be Celia's instinct to comfort from being a mother maybe??? BUT ALICELIA FEELS. My God their ship name could be a palindrome. Insane.
DEAR LORD DID ALICE SEE HER PARENTS DIE???? MY POOR GIRL.
Tape recorder is gone??? And yeah I suspected that the woman had been dead the whole time. Something was using her as a mouth piece, maybe something relates to ep 11 with the deep??
I think Celia and Sam saying they believe Alice is gonna bring them closer. I know people are sus of Celia so it could be a ploy to get closer to the OIAR employees, but I don't know, with her disliking Lady Mowbray, I'm more inclined to trust her.
The fact that Alice says "paid my horror dues" makes me think she knows more about said horrors and is working at the OIAR specifically to avoid it. Were her parents killed by The Horror?
"I think there's plenty of it go around at the moment" Yeah she's talking about Lady Mowbray. Seriously, I have respect for Celia, she really stood her ground last episode.
Man the fact that we were like "omg what if Alice's phone call ends up being a statement!!" In a serious way meanwhile Alice is like "yeah no Freddie will probably spit out in a few days so nothing to be concerned about". What if. Tho. Gwen ends up hearing the phone call. That would be interesting. Speaking of, where is our corporate girlfailure.
Sam you awkward little bean I love you. I'm sure Celia and Alice just gave him the fondest, "You're such a dumbass" look.
SOCIAL MEDIA INFLUENCER TIME????
OH NO. OH NO FUCK AM I GOING TO FALL IN LOVE WITH INK5OUL. THEIR VOICE.
I'm sorry I now understand what Alex meant when he said this episode was social-cringe-horror. The misuse of AAVE is actually so accurate please help my I'm on the floor screaming this should not be this funny-
Damn so does Ink5oul tattoo....pain or something? I don't have a tattoo myself (yet. I'm gonna get one. As soon as I stop being squeamish about needles. Oh. Needles.) But I don't think they're meant to hurt THAT much???
...I genuinely SHOULD NOT like Ink5oul this much. Please. You cannot do this to me I cannot have a Michael Part 2.
OH MY GOD ITS A YOUTUBER DRAMA VIDEO IM GOING TO FUCKING DIE I CANNOT BE LAUGHING THIS HARD.
I'm sorry THE SITUATIONSHIP FUCKING SENT ME YOU'RE TELLING ME INK5OUL IS IN A SITUATIONSHIP WITH A GOTH GIRL INFLUENCER PLEASE RUSTY QUILL I NEED TO BE SERIOUS I CANNOT DO THIS.
OH MY GOD. OH MY GOD I CANNOT DO THIS I HAVE PAUSED 7 TIMES NOW JUST BECAUSE I WAS LAUGHING TOO HARD TO KEEP HEARING. INK5OUL IS HOT AND A GOTH CONFIRMED.
Shut up. SHUT UP. NOT FUCKING DIG. ARE YOU SERIOUS. NO WAY.
Also let me add all the video sound effects are taking me out I LITERALLY cannot do this PLEASE-
OH MY GOD. WAIT. IS THIS WHEN INK5OUL WAS LOOKING FOR THE BODY WITH THE TATTOO FROM EP 11. HOLY SHIT.
"Hell no i ain't gonna call it in" girl by making the video you are basically calling it in what the fuck
THE YOUTUBER DRAMA IS TAKING ME OUT PLEASE THIS IS SOME NICOCADO AVODACO VS STEPHANIE SOO TYPE SHIT (Stephanie Soo all the way honeyyyy).
So...Does Ink5oul have the ability to make people feel pain through the tattoos they do? It's seeming like that's the case.
"The views are cutting me" HUH???? THATS. LIKE. THE EDGES ARE CUTTING ME??? WHAT IS HAPPENING??? HELLO?????
IS SHE DYING. THATS HORRIBLE RN WHAT THE FUCK ALICE LITERALLY JUST SAW SOMEONE DIE NOW SHE HAS TO HEAR SOMEONE ELSE DIE????
Okay wait now that Sam has let go of his "be professional" bullshit I'm back on his track SAMALICELIA LETS GOOO
THERE SHE IS THE CORPORATE GIRLFAILURE
Ohhhh Lena. Oh boy. I can understand her tbh, Gwen has no idea what's happening and she's just doing her own thing. Whether she's evil or not, Lena still knows better what's going on and can avoid unnecessary risks. Especially since Lena does seem to care if other employees get hurt.
I SEE HOW IT IS GWEN. SO YOU'LL BE HORRIFIED BY MR. BONZO BUT NOT OF THE CANNIBALISTIC HUNTING WOMAN BECAUSE SHES A LADY OF THE ARISTOCRACY. CLASSISM AT ITS FINEST. I HATE MR. BONZO BUT AT LEAST HES A WORKING CLASS...CLOWN MONSTER THING.
Okay so the Externals are like. A Thing here. Kind of like avatars? I'm not saying in the sense of fears, I mean they're beings that are not human anymore and possibly dangerous.
Wait but I understand Gwen though "You can't take this away just because I did something you never bothered to tell me not to do" this happens to me so much Gwen my babygirl you are So Autistic.
I saw someone say that Gwen needs to be dommed. I cannot say I disagree, especially when Lena tells her to sit down. Anyway we're gonna move away from that thought.
I am not joking. I paused a total of 17 times throughout this episode because I started laughing too hard. I think I have a new favorite episode.

___________________________
Yelena wasn’t really known for understanding her feelings. At such as young age, she was practically trained to push away any connection she would and could have with other people. Natasha would be the exception because she had grown up with her. That’s why when she had joined that Avengers as another teammate, she wasn’t expecting to feel a “connection” between any other members. Well, until you had come around. You were someone to be interacted with at first sight. From what Yelena could observe, she notices how very much liked you were by the whole team, and from what Natasha has told her, you were practically the glue that held the team together. You were the only person in the whole team who has never gotten on anyone’s bad side and that was for good reason.
You were friendly with Yelena, clearly showing that you trusted her with your whole heart. You made it clear to her that you had no guards up against her, being as open as possible to whatever Yelena’s wants and needs were. For Yelena, this affection and care had hit her deep within her heart. You were a genuinely caring person, something that she had lacked so much growing up. And seeing the way you would always check up on her after a mission of hers or yours made her heart flutter and beat rapidly. When you two started having movie nights together, the way you laughed was starting to become music to her own ears.
Though her favorite nights were when you two would just sit in the living room and talk. The two of you would talk for hours. In the beginning, there was some distance between the two of you, but in less than six months, she was already laying on your lap as you gently brush the knots out of her hair. It was the best feeling for her, honestly. To feel every single bone in her body relax as you hold her this close. If she could stay in this moment forever she would. Maybe she could get that doctor guy to do it for her, just keep rewinding this moment so Yelena could have more time to gaze at the way your eyes light up, the way your lips curve into a smile, the way your eyebrows would furrow together and you’d make that cute confused look on your face.
It was after a mission when Natasha had confronted Yelena. Before you had left for your mission earlier, Natasha had witnessed Yelena almost attack Wanda because apparently “playing as a couple” during a mission was considered “unprofessional” by Yelena’s standards. If it weren’t for Wanda profusely telling Yelena that it was just a mission and you gripping Yelena’s arm to get her to calm down, Yelena would’ve possibly blown up the facility.
After giving Yelena time to cool down, which had taken a good couple of hours, Natasha had gone to confront her sister over the situation.
“There is nothing wrong,” Yelena argues.
“Really?” Natasha asks.
“Yes, I am perfectly fine,” Yelena replies harshly. She begins walking towards her sleeping quarters.
Before Yelena could hide her feelings in her room, Natasha grabs the assassins’ shoulder. “Hey! Let me go!”
“You were jealous,” Natasha concludes.
Yelena pauses for a moment. Of course. How could she not be jealous? Wanda gets to do a mission with you and she gets to spend extra time with you without the disturbance of the other Avengers. Just thinking about the two of you in the quinjet is almost enough to make her skin crawl.
Her mind snaps back from her reverie, seeing Natasha was still holding her arm, she yanks it away. It causes Natasha to laugh. “Oh my god, Lena, you’re so in love.”
“Am not!”
“Okay,” she says. “Picture Y/N smiling.“
Immediately your smile paints in Yelena’s head. The familiar curve of your lips invades her visions. Then, unconsciously, a small smile begins to form on her own lips.
“Yeah, you’re so in love,” Natasha repeats.
The smile leaves as quickly as it came as Yelena smacks Natasha’s shoulder. “You’re a piece of shit, you know that?” She hisses.
Natasha scoffs. She only took Yelena’s annoyance as a cue to keep pushing her sister’s buttons until she was ready to explode. “Then I guess you’d be fine thinking about Wanda and Y/N holding hands, eating dinner together after a long long day, sharing a bed because SHIELD is too poor to afford two twin beds-” Natasha could almost see Yelena’s ears turning red, the smoke ready to puff out, but she keeps talking, “and right there, Wanda would turn on her favorite show and the two of them would binge-watch the show-”
“The mission isn’t supposed to last more than four hours,” Yelena manages to huff, but her breath was uneven as she tries her best to maintain her composure.
“Ahh, I’m not finished. And Y/N would lay her head on Wanda’s shoulder. There would be no one there to interrupt them on this perfect night and-”
All fed up, Yelena throws her hands up, “fine! You know what! What if I am?” She says angrily. “I’m in love with Y/N! That’s what it is. I am so in love, you know that Natasha? For the first time in my life, I feel like I found someone who takes care of me, who genuinely wants to be around me without feeling like I’m a threat to them or feeling like they’re forced to be with me. Y/N is the reason why I feel so alive. Around her, I feel like I’m more than just my past and that I deserve everything good, so excuse me if someone tries to take that away from me. Does Wanda know what Y/N’s favorite food is? No. Does she know what Y/N’s favorite sleeping position is? No. Does she know that Y/N hates watching shows that last for more than 12 seasons? No! I do. I know that. Y/N is my gift, she is my world, not hers.”
Natasha’s eyes widen out of pure shock.
“What? Are you surprised that I finally admitted it? Or are you trying to think of something so you can make fun of me again-“
Natasha grabs Yelena’s shoulders before turning her around. Yelena could only feel her heart sink when she sees you standing there, after a long mission, eyes stunned. The two sisters don’t know what to say or do, so it was up to you to break the silence.
“Well, uh, I was just about to go to my room and-“
“How much did you hear?” Yelena asks, the feeling of numbness was growing more and more in her body.
“Right up to when you called Natasha ‘a piece of shit’,” you tell her.
Natasha could only do so much as to pat her sister’s shoulders before excusing herself out, letting Yelena deal with the situation. If this ends badly, Yelena was going to swear on her life that she would murder Natasha for what she had just done.
“Well, uh-“ she starts.
You muster a cough, rubbing the back of your neck nervously. “I would ask you if you meant it, but I think I know you well enough to know that-“
Yelena begins fumbling with her doorknob, wanting desperately to escape this situation. “I’m sorry, let’s just pretend you didn’t hear that.” Her palms were starting to shake, her body failing to keep her composure as her friendship was surely about to fall apart.
You let off a small chuckle, whether or not that was a good thing Yelena wouldn’t be able to tell. You gently place a hand over her’s effectively causing Yelena to stop shaking. Yelena looks up and you watch those beautiful green orbs staring back at you and you could clearly see her on the verge of breaking down if you don’t start talking.
“Yelena, you know I love you, too, right?”
Even the way you say ‘I love you’ was almost like a dream, to the point she can’t even tell if she heard you correctly.
“Lena-“ you say, squeezing her hand softly.
“Are you telling me the truth?” She asks.
The familiar smile grazes your lips and without giving her a second to think, you press your lips to her’s. Her body reacts unconsciously, her emotions guiding her to react as she kisses you back. Her eyes close, hand flying to your neck and pulling you closer to her.
When the two of you finally pull away, you let out a small laugh, as your thumb gently brushes her cheek. “Now I know why you were jealous when Wanda and I were going on that mission together.”
She pouts, leaning her head against yours as her eyes fall to the ground, “I would’ve been better at playing the role.”
“I know,” you comment. “Come on, let’s go watch a movie.”
Hand in hand the two of you move inside Yelena’s room. From outside the hallway, Wanda finds Natasha standing by the corner. A smile spreads on her face when she realizes that the plan had worked.
“I can’t believe that worked,” Natasha comments.
Wanda rolls her eyes, “your sister almost killed me.”

tiny pieces (inspired by this post) word count: 1,675 words read it on ao3
Today is the day. Kara is finally going to tell Lena she’s Supergirl. She’s just arrived at Lena’s apartment for a movie night, and she knows she can’t waste any time. She’s gotta rip the bandaid off. Kara greets her best friend, hangs her coat on the rack, and takes a deep breath. “Lena, I need to tell you something.”
Lena cocks her head, her brows furrowed. “What is it?”
“I should’ve told you this a long time ago, but I didn’t because I was scared of losing you. I told myself I was protecting you but I wasn’t protecting you, I was hurting you…” Kara trails off and takes another deep, shaky breath.
“It’s okay, Kara. Whatever it is, you can tell me.”
Nerves flood Kara’s system. This is it; it’s now or never. She’s brought it up, there’s no way Kara can back out now, even if she wanted to. She can feel the words forming in her mouth, begging to come out. She’s hid for so long– out of fear, out of doubt, out of self preservation. All of it melts away when Kara looks into Lena's eyes. She’s looking at her with so much care and concern, Kara can barely stand it. Her heart constricts at the sight and– “I love you!” she blurts.
Kara's eyes go wide in shock as the words leave her lips. Her hand flies over her mouth. Kara gasps quietly, a short intake of breath someone could easily miss, but Lena notices. Lena always notices. She stares at Kara for a moment trying to gather her thoughts. “You–” she cuts herself off, afraid that if she asks Kara to confirm, she’ll tell her it’s not like that. Before she can dwell on it, though, confusion sets in. “Why did you think keeping that from me would protect me?” Her voice is small and her eyes well with tears. How could Kara possibly think that loving her would hurt her? “I– that’s not–” Kara takes a steadying breath before continuing. “That's not what I was trying to say.” Lena nods slightly at Kara, her lips pressed together in a thin line, pain written all over her face. As a result, Kara’s next words come out in a rush– a flurry of a confession born out of desperation. “No, no, no Lena, please don’t think that means I didn’t mean it! I did... I do. I’m in love with you, and I knew if I told you that I’m Supergirl, I'd lose you. I couldn't bear the thought of a life without you in it. I convinced myself you’d be safer if you didn’t know, but it was really myself I was trying to protect.” Kara steps forward and reaches for Lena's hands, but thinks better of it and lets them drop to grab the hem of her shirt instead. This is definitely not going the way she wanted it to. She looks down at her feet. “But I can’t hide in fear anymore. About any of it. I'm Supergirl and I'm in love with you.” She takes off her glasses and looks back up at Lena. Lena stands there, unmoving, her eyes locked on Kara's. Her emotions overwhelm her– shock, anger, love, relief, happiness, pain. It's too much. Lena just got everything she’s ever wanted in the same breath as the worst thing she could imagine. Kara is Supergirl. She lied. But she also loves her and Lena can’t reconcile both truths in her head. Kara can’t love her if she’s spent the past four years lying to her face. It’s impossible. “Please say something.” Lena responds with the only thing she knows is true. “I love you, too.” All of the tension leaves Kara’s body as relief washes over her. She reaches for Lena's hands again, but this time it’s Lena that pulls away. “No. That doesn’t mean you get to do that to me, Kara." Lena takes a step back. She can feel her hands shaking and she doesn’t know if she’s going to be able to keep her composure. Admitting her feelings to Kara broke something inside of Lena. “You don’t get to manipulate me with your warmth and your earnestness and your love any more. Because the truth is, you can’t love me. There hasn’t been a single honest moment in our friendship. You lied to me for years. You violated my trust. You knew how much it hurt me to have everyone I've ever cared about lie to me and betray me, but you did it anyway.” “Lena, please! I–” Lena holds up her hand before Kara can continue. “You betrayed me, and you claim to have done it because you’re in love with me. That's not what love is, Kara. Trust me. I would know.” Tears spill from Kara’s eyes as Lena talks. She can’t argue; Lena's right. She hasn’t been treating Lena the way she deserves, and the guilt has been eating her alive. She knew it was wrong, knew it would break Lena's heart, but she couldn’t stop herself. “Lena, I'm so sorry. Please believe me when I say I never wanted to hurt you.” Lena scoffs at that, but Kara pushes on. “I wanted to tell you so many times, but the more time went on, the more I fell in love with you. And then it just felt impossible because losing you– hurting you– would be worse than the strongest kryptonite.” Lena can feel her anger start to falter; she knows how seriously Supergirl– Kara– takes kryptonite. She’s looking at her with so much pain in those gorgeous blue eyes and Lena knows she means what she says. It doesn’t make her hurt any less.
She pinches the bridge of her nose and closes her eyes, trying to center herself. Her chest aches, she’s shaking, and Lena doesn’t know if she’d rather scream or cry. Everything in her is telling her to retaliate, to make Kara hurt the same way she’s hurting now. Lena has spent her entire life fighting the legacy her last name holds, and she thinks this might be her breaking point. She doesn’t know if she has it in her to keep fighting against decades of Luthor conditioning. Not when the pain of this betrayal has her feeling so shattered.
“You just broke my heart, Kara.” Lena’s voice is impossibly small, barely above a whisper, and every word is laced with grief.
Kara looks at Lena, sees the way her hands shake, hears the pain in her voice, and she doesn’t think anything has ever hurt her more. Kara has been beaten into a coma, shot with kryptonite, blasted with countless bombs and missiles, and none of it even comes close to the pain of seeing what she’s done to Lena. “I’m so sorry, Lena. I was selfish and scared. I kept making excuses because I didn’t want to hurt you like everyone else, but it just made it worse.” She takes a shaky breath. “I wish I had told you sooner. I wish I could make you believe that everything else between us was true. I lied to you about who I am, and that was the biggest mistake of my life, but the feelings were real. Everything else was real, Lena.”
The ache in her chest only grows as Lena struggles to hold onto the last shreds of her anger. Being angry is safe. She can let it build and grow and wrap around her until it forms indestructible armor around her heart. Kara can’t hurt her if she doesn’t have access. But no matter how badly she wants to cling to it, Lena knows it isn’t something she can keep. Not when it’s Kara. Not when she loves her.
The silence hangs between them. Lena tries to untangle her conflicting emotions while Kara fights against the panic that threatens to swallow her whole. Still, the quiet grows.
Lena doesn’t know how long they stand there, but when she looks back to Kara, she sees that she’s crying even harder. Silent sobs wrack through Kara’s chest and Lena can’t help but want to comfort her. The light catches on a tear rolling down Kara's cheek, and before she even registers what she’s doing, Lena steps closer to wipe it away. Her hand lingers on Kara's cheek and Kara’s eyes flutter closed. She leans into the touch like it’s a life preserver and she’s drowning. Lena's resolve crumbles.
“I can't tell you that it’s okay, but I believe you.” Lena drops her hand from Kara’s cheek. “I wish I didn't. Hating you would be easier,” she pauses and her eyes dart between Kara’s, searching for something– anything– to make her stop loving her. When she comes up empty, Lena sighs and continues. “But I can’t.”
Kara’s eyes shine with tears and her lips form a small pout. She crinkles her brow. “What does that mean for us?”
Lena feels like her heart was broken into a million tiny pieces tonight. She also knows the only person who could put it back together is standing right in front of her. “I don't know, but if we’re in love with each other, it’s worth fighting for.”
Kara smiles at Lena through watery eyes and Lena feels one of those tiny pieces click back into place.
Lena smiles back and Kara feels like she can breathe again.
Taking a step closer, Kara tentatively places a hand on Lena's neck, her thumb gently running along her jawline. “Can I kiss you?”
“Please,” Lena breathes. “I think that might be the only thing you could do to make this feel any better.”
Lena can feel Kara's smile against her lips as Kara crashes hers into them. Another tiny piece slides back into place. She kisses Kara back and thinks, eventually, her shattered heart won’t feel broken at all. It’ll just feel whole.

I’d love 90 with Chris
You've been crying
Being in the public eye certainly had its ups and downs and at the moment Lena was experiencing many more downs than ups. She had been through a bit of a tough time personally and of course people wanted a piece of her and felt they were owned explanations, plus every single move she made on her videos and in social media were being pulled apart. Lena sat there at her desk and sighed deeply as she stared at her screen, she knew reading comments was bad but she couldn’t help it. ‘She looks unhappy’ ‘She needs time off’ ‘Leave her alone she’s been through a bad time.’ ‘No excuse for bad content though she should take time off until she’s ready to come back with a banger,’
The door creaked open, and Lena quickly wiped at her eyes, trying to compose herself.
“Lena?” Chris’s voice was soft, but the concern was immediate. He didn’t wait for her to answer before stepping inside. His brow furrowed as he took in her red-rimmed eyes and trembling hands. “What’s going on?”
“Nothing,” she replied quickly, too quickly. She turned her chair away slightly, as if hiding her face could conceal everything. It as too late though, he had already seen everything and despite his so called mean reputation, Chris was incredibly in tune with people’s emotions and was a very supportive person.
Chris closed the door behind him, crossing the room in a few long strides. He crouched beside her, his blue green eyes scanning her face. “You’ve been crying. Don’t tell me it’s nothing.”
At that, the dam broke. Lena tried to speak, to push him away, but all that came out was a strangled sob. Chris hesitated for only a moment before pulling her into his arms, letting her cry against his shoulder. They sat there for a few moments before Lena eventually calmed down and the big cries changed into small sniffs and the occasional sob.
“If you want to talk?” Chris offered, Lena sighed knowing it was going to be painful to talk about but at the same time she needed to get it off her chest, plus Chris was one of the people she could trust about this and he would also understand.
“My anxiety is just sky high at the moment. Honestly when Mason and I split I was fine for ages but now? It’s like it’s hit me and I just feel so inadequate, in my work, my channel, my personal life,” she admitted feeling somewhat embarrassed. Mason was Lena’s first relationship, it was her only relationship. Childhood sweethearts that had gone sour at the age of twenty six. It took ten years for him to finally admit that he didn’t want to be tied down, not to her anyway.
“You know that none of this is your fault right?” Chris rubbed Lena’s arm up and down as he pulled her in closer to his chest. It was smaller than it used to be as he had been on his own fitness journey but it was comforting and Chris always smelt good, especially for someone who was always on the move. Lena nodded in agreement but Chris could tell it was inauthentic, Lena was someone who really showed her emotion in her face.
"Maybe one day I'll believe that,"
"Well until you do believe it yourself I need you to know that no matter what you think I believe you're an amazing, strong, creative and beautiful person. Both inside and out," Chris added his gaze fixated on Lena's who looked at Chris biting her lip slightly, did he really mean that. As he leaned in she was about to find out.

Yo, can you please do something with this prompt? Established supercorp, Kara being overwhelmed by all the bodies of national city and Lena helping her through it.
This is a completely self indulgent Autistic!Kara fic, featuring Lena throwing money at problems because she's a bazillionaire and she wants to spoil her wife. (And yes, I'm still working on the smut fic and Myx part 2, but I'm trying to crank out some volume and clear out some prompts!)
Overwhelmed
"So, I was thinking we could invite Winn and James over for lunch next weekend, that would be the perfect time to ask them how their trip to Alaska went, because you know Winn is going to have . . ." Lena lets her voice trail off as she studies her wife, realizing by the distant look on Kara's face that nothing she's saying is registering anyway.
Instead, Kara is stopped halfway down the grocery aisle, eyes glazed over as her fingers twirl the pendant charm on her necklace. She's definitely seen Kara take her time on the cereal aisle before, but this is different.
Lena carefully maneuvers  the shopping cart to the side of the busy aisle, watching as the crowd jostles around them.
Kara startles when Lena's fingers make contact with her arm and Lena can't help but wince at the flash of fear that sparks in those blue eyes.
"Are you ok? I think I lost you there for a minute."
Kara's gaze flits around the store before finally settling on Lena, one hand still toying with her necklace.
"Yeah, it's just uh, you know, a lot of people here today. My skin feels twitchy." Kara's shoulders tense upwards in a cringing shrug, and a shiver shakes her body.
"Do you want to go home?" Lena offers. "I can always have groceries delivered -"
"No! No, I mean, I'm fine. I can get through a grocery trip without freaking out, I'm not a weirdo."
Lena  sees Kara's eyes focusing on the cereal in front of them, but she can tell her mind is a million miles away by the blankness behind her gaze.
"You're not a weirdo." Lena insists, reaching for Kara's hand. "The store is busy today, it's hard enough for someone without-" she drops her voice to a whisper - "super senses."
Kara flashes her a grateful smile.
"I'm fine, I can tough it out for a few more minutes."
As if on cue, the overhead speaker blares with static.
"Attention shoppers: register four is now open with no wait."
Kara twitches violently at the noise and Lena makes an executive decision; grabbing Kara with one hand and the shopping cart in the other.
"I'm fine, I swear -" Kara starts but Lena ignores her protests; instead weaving a commanding path through the crowd to the front of the store.
The register lines are backed up, but Lena bypasses them, instead heading for the costumer service desk.
"Can I help you?" The gentleman behind the counter asks with a smile, and Lena answers with one of her own.
"Yes, sorry, I've just had something come up and I need to leave immediately." She slides a hundred dollar bill across to the man. "I trust this is enough to cover your restocking fee?"
The man glances at the money and then back at Lena.
"Oh, ma'am we don't actually have a restocking fee -" but Lena doesn't let him finish.
"For the trouble." she insists, pressing the bill into his palm before turning to the door and pulling Kara with her.
"But Lee, the ice cream . . ." Kara protests, and Lena spins on her red bottom heel, already pulling out another hundred dollar bill.
"For the ice cream." She explains to the customer service rep as she tosses the bill on the counter and reaches in the cart for the frozen container.
Speechless, the man waves, and Lena turns once again to leave,  passing the carton of mint chocolate chip to her wife.
"Better?" She asks with a sly grin, and Kara's thankful smile is the only answer she needs, but Kara punctuates it with a squeezing side hug.
"Have I told you lately that I love you?"

do you have any thoughts on time skipped knkdz? ada president kunikida has my heart so much i need content of him. also parent kunikidazai has my heart they’re girl dads to me :,)
(not a fic request just a thought)
sorry anon i am a firm believer in dazai not wanting kids 🙏 however i do enjoy ada president kunikida and will happily offer you some other time skip kunidazai thoughts:
kunikida.. struggles at first when he takes over as president. he wants so badly to make sure he's living up to fukuzawa's legacy and doing everything perfect - but exactly how fukuzawa did it instead of doing what works best for him.
all of the ada tries their best to help kunikida realize that they like him as he is and they don't need him to be fukuzawa 2.0; they just want him to be kunikida. but dazai especially, because they all know dazai is the one kunikida will listen to and believe most
they do have a Talk about kids at one point. dazai is convinced that him not wanting them will be a dealbreaker so he avoids that conversation like the plague until he literally can't anymore. but kunikida would rather have dazai, even if that means their family doesn't look like the Ideal Family he planned out
aya stays over sometimes, which dazai likes better as she gets older
aya and dazai had a.. strained relationship at first. because dazai doesn't know how to interact with kids and doesn't trust himself around them. but eventually, once he got over himself and actually had one normal conversation with her, he realized that she's actually okay
when aya is in high school, she comes over to visit and gossips with dazai while kunikida makes dinner
and kunikida helps her with her math homework ofc
back to the ada.. as president, kunikida finds himself turning to dazai for advice and help quite a bit. at first, dazai is put off by this because he does Not want to be the leader himself. he didn't want that with the mafia and he doesn't want it with the ada either
after a few months of dazai pulling away and telling kunikida to go ask ranpo instead, kunikida confronts him about it. and dazai realizes kunikida goes to him for help first because they're partners, not because he's expecting dazai to help him lead
dazai is more than happy to help when needed after that. but kunikida also tries to go to ranpo and yosano for advice when it's something that fits their expertise more than dazai's
of course of courseeee we still have canezai. by this point, dazai has grown used to his cane but he still has bad pain days - especially on days when it rains. kunikida is always more lenient towards him on those days
likewise, kunikida has bad days with his hand tremors, and dazai will force him to take breaks or go home if it's really bad
they're both good at telling when the other is having a bad day with just one look
i absolutely love the idea of them adopting a cat as well,, i've lowkey adopted lena's hc of them finding a cat that is blind in one eye and missing a leg to reflect dazai's disabilities
dazai and the cat take naps in the sun together <3 (kunikida has a photo album on his phone full of pictures of them napping together)
kunikida & dazai's apartment is always always a safe place for any of the agency members to come if they ever need anything. dazai doesn't like having other people in his space but after kyouka comes to them on the brink of a panic attack after being chased by a dog, dazai remembers he does actually like helping the people he cares about. and he accepts kunikida's "always open door" policy
they can't get married and dazai is too wary of commitment for that anyway, so instead of rings they get complementary necklaces. they both typically tuck the necklaces beneath their shirts so few people know they're their and even fewer realize what they mean, but it's less of a "showing off that i'm in a relationship" thing and more of a private agreement between them. they don't need anyone else to know
i'll stop there bc this is longer than i expected but. yeah <3 they <3
