Hehehe, some of it is in rp, a lot of it has already developed in dms, lol, bUT. The short of why they Work to begin with is we realized there’s a lot of parallels between the Jedi Knight story and the Agent story and then there’s a lot of similarities in how Hyroh and Tyr cope (or don’t, tbh) with these developments.

The Knight and the Agent are both lauded as one of the best of their kind and, long story short, also go through a period where they’re also perceived as a threat for this very thing that made them so desirable. And there’s the brainwashing and the expectation that all of this pressure and all of these hits won’t absolutely mutate your loyalties in any fashion. Hyroh and Tyr work a lot like mirrors at each other, usually for better and occasionally for times where their own vices grate on them when they see them in the other - usually their… self-sacrifical streaks, tbh. They’ve both experienced the pressure to step up and get a job done because they’ve been told that there isn’t anybody else and they’d like to spare anyone else the trouble and the pain and the way it breaks and reshapes your spine either way.

Hyroh and Tyr specifically don’t get the chance, ofc, to bond on all of this until they’re partnered up on Rishi against the Revanites by their respective… handlers, we’ll say. Lana brings in Tyr and Theron brings in Hyroh, and together, the two of them run the front field cover for the Red Blades, learn how to work together, learn that their core ideals aren’t so different from one another despite what their faction allegiance looks like on the outside at first glance and… end up falling for each other and for the mutual peace they find in being able to remove themselves from roles that had been suffocating.

Rishi becomes that place, the time, they long to return to - a space they carved out for themselves between a war that’s consumed most of their lives. They entertain running off together after the Coalition wraps work on Yavin IV, but… Tyr worries he has enemies that wouldn’t let them rest, that he hasn’t set up a clean enough exit to give Hyroh that promise. Not that Hyroh doesn’t promise to fight them all himself - and Tyr would believe it, but… He needs to make sure he can do it for real. That he gives them the best chance he can.

That best chance is Ziost. Tyr uses the decline of Sith Intelligence and the chaos erupting across the planet to quietly disappear except for their close circle of contacts and spends the next several months at Hyroh’s side as the search for Vitiate continues. And, true to their nature, he gets… pulled into the mess of KOTXX and onward by… wrong place, wrong time, and that… nagging inability to know when to quit. That they both share. And they take turns checking in one another. [Which. is also how we had Commander!Hyroh au with Tyr going all brooding hunter for 5 years before becoming Hyroh's violently protective bodyguard during the Alliance era]

I’d say probably one of the most important things is Hyroh teaches Tyr how to value himself, to actually stop and think long enough about why he’s doing something so he can get somewhere in processing whether or not it’s because he desires that outcome and believes in the goal or if it’s just… the expectations he’s been hardwired to follow for something like half of his life at that point. Hyroh loves so earnestly and openly and completely that Tyr can’t… help but be stopped in his tracks by it. It’s so completely unlike anything else he’s ever had or been given; he’s loved, certainly, but his life has been one of half-truths and double meanings. He’s never been in a position to throw caution to the wind so freely. Joel describes Hyroh as unable to be anything but himself and it cuts Tyr to the quick. He can’t help but be transfixed, drawn into the warmth of that smile and the unquestioning embrace. And Tyr loves him in return in absolute devotion in… a way that’s not always graceful. Tyr means it when he says he’ll do anything for somebody - and that includes lying. That’s not easy for Hyroh. That’s a harder line. It causes some strife for them when they get into the Alliance era and find themselves again wrapped up in the same old war. They’re both driven, unable to leave something so important unfinished, unable to accept the cost of letting the burden fall to another’s shoulders when there’s still more they’ve left to give and it’s hard to swallow seeing it in the person you love like it’s breathing.

Really, at the end of the day, they both wanted to walk away. They’re both worn by everything they’ve been through, by the never-ending nature of this conflict they’ve practically grown up in and have been shaped for and by and they find an unexpected haven of understanding and trust in each other. As much heartache as knowing intimately what their struggles are like from having shared experiences can cause, it usually makes them pretty decent at pulling each other up when the going gets too rough to face alone. Hyroh can’t physically fight all of the nightmares that haunt Tyr, that keep him chained to his past for so long, and Tyr can’t fight Hyroh’s battles for or sometimes even with him given the galaxy-spanning nature of them, the unknowable and unpredictable limits of Vitiate’s power when he's just a man with an arsenal of blades and a fairly trained shot with a pistol and rifle, but it doesn’t matter, in the end. In the end, what matters is that they’re together.

And Tyr finds that Hyroh’s someone that makes him want to keep that promise. Tyr’s lied for plenty of people. He’s lied to himself for longer than he can bear to admit, even in the safety of Hyroh’s arms, bleeding hearts entwined. But for Hyroh, he’d live. Live. Not just survive. He’ll find what the way out of this endless cycle is. And they’re going to do it holding hands.

And he’ll love Hyroh unconditionally, through every change, despite and for the changes. They’re more than what they were made to be. He hopes he can return even half of the love and support Hyroh's shown him over the years.

I just feel like ARMYs who are very obviously Y/N’s have NO reason to be judging shippers. I’m self aware that I’m pretty heavily biased, but there’s nothing worse than the ARMYs who hide under the OT7 visage but are CLEARLY heavily biased themselves. I simply do not like hypocrites, maybe some of them are in denial about it, idk. ofc there’s nothing worse than the ones who cosplay and try to create havoc in ARMY spaces, but that’s an entirely different thing. with that said, i’m convinced that at least 90% of active ARMYs are heavily biased at this point and we’d all be better off if they could simply just admit it.

perhaps this is my own bias so feel free to disagree, but imo ARMYs very clearly have a different sort of energy for jm antis and I think its partially because his hate has been so damn normalized in this fandom after years of tkkrs, but also because clearly a vast majority of the ARMY sh*oter accounts are diet solos and tkkrs and they always put an extra amount of scrutiny on things related to jm. they're also the first to bring shipper/solo drama into ARMY spaces (but only when it impacts their ship/bias) and they’re very clearly obviously lurking in solo/shipper territory to find it the way they do. the silence right now from certain accounts really does speak volumes.

sort of related, but the best way to gain a big following on ARMY twt is to get involved in whatever current drama is going on, for example MHJ drama, boycott drama, general fanwars. ARMYs will flock and mass follow these accounts, and a lot of them are diets who gain a platform and then spread their diet narratives later. one really good example is that elo person if anyone remembers all that, they literally were moots w/ tkk akgaes & calling them bestie but rebranded after they started gaining a mass following for “doxxing” and they started gaining attention because they were “debunking” the OG taennie icloud leaks (lol ofc they were a tkkr doing that). anyways they were awful and did a lot of harm, but they got that platform bc a lot of ARMYs flock to toxic accounts like that, especially when somethings going on, and then they’re impossible to cancel.

okey. so I've had the idea for an oc (and also an entire world) bouncing around my skull for literally YEARS at this point and I got sad that I hadn't done much so!

I've decided to call the story 'Scarred Hands and Battered Hearts' because I think it sounds cool idk (also so I had something to tag it as) I don't really know WHAT I want to do with it yet because as much as I'd love to make it a webcomic or animate bits or do anything, I also know myself and my lack of motivation :'')

anyways I just really like the tagging system here even though I don't really know how to use it effectively for much but I want to use it to be able to ramble about things (like my ocs or aus) and still have it all in one place

This is kind of an overview of the main character and names and stuff. The basic premise is superhero/supervillain world except the biggest baddest villian is actually a depressed teenager

Also a note: the only reason I even have a deadbane for him is because I started this idea before I picked a new name but after I realized what flavor of transgender I was, and it was really important to me to have a very trans character that doesn't have a new name yet. I don't think I'll ever "reveal" his deadbane or anything because. gross and also transphobia. But I wanted something to flesh out his character and be consistent

I started figuring out a timeline and this is it rn

two notes for this:

1. When I say "see" atoms I imagine it to be similar to when you can see dust in the light. It's something you can definitely see if you look for it, but it's also easily enough to look past

2. "Bird guy" is also "SUPERHERO" I just haven't the faintest idea what I want his name to be yet. He'd be the #1 hero but also just like. A middle-aged guy who genuinely wants the best for people (and struggles with the inevitable corruption with heros)

I want him to have wings,,, and have him do random bird habits like chirping y'know the like :3

My og plan for wren's design was to have him in a plage doctor's mask and thus he is bird aligned and the hero will have to fight his instincts (expecially after seeing how young Wren is)

Eventually I realized I don't fucking know how to draw a plauge doctor's mask (and I still don't) so now he has goggles and a gas mask (both if which I love drawing)

I still want to have the hero compare Wren to a baby bird at some point but I'm not sure how

Side note but Bird hero man is gay!! He's gonna be uselessly pining after a different guy and Wren is going to be a little shit and try to set them up (post bonding arc and while complaining about now understanding romance (he's aroace))

It's insane how much if their dynamic I have planned out without even having figured out one of their names 😭 I fear I'm doomed

If you participated in any of the 2-day Streaming parties for FACE organized by Hybe... its time to monitor your Spotify or AM accs closely.

For those who are new or aren't active on X/twitter, PJMS fanbases had organized this mass 'FACE RECOMEBACK' during the week that 'FACE' Vinyls came out, to help chart both "Like Crazy" AND "Closer Than This". While at the same time try to get LC to #1 on BB200 (which is the only no.1 we want to achieve so LC can finally have the all-kill)

So everyone was participating, everyone was streaming correctly, buying correctly. We were doing EXCELLENT numbers that even attracted media attention and praise.

But then on week two there was this "surprise" announcement on the BH/Hybe official page for a "FACE Recomeback Streaming Party" on Stationhead (each one would last 1-2 hours max).

Naturally... all PJMS and Jimin biased felt skeptical about this sudden announcement right when tracking week was about to end. But as many thought "If this is what it'll take to FINALLY get ot7 to stream 'FACE' then fine."

I myself DID NOT participate on that streaming party and instead kept streaming on my own with MY OWN playlists and those provided by the Jimin fanbases. Simply because I CANNOT bring myself to trust that company when it comes to Jimin.

And lo and behold, when the results finally came, turns out those two streaming parties DID NOT benefited "Like Crazy" or "Closer Than This" AT ALL. If anything, LC experienced a minus-300K in streams and so did CTT.

In addition, many began to experience strange glitches in their spotify accs right after participating in one or both days of the streaming party. Some accs got locked, many lost playlists, and MANY MORE expressed that their streams got erased.

So if word on the street is correct...

Hybe made that Streaming party with the sole purpose of monitoring any and all accs supporting/streaming for Jimin only (we're talking ppl with premium accs, since its needed to even use Stationhead). ESPECIALLY his fanbases, so now they can manipulate the streams as well.

Lets not forget that Hybe's got 🛴 on their side, and 🛴 already did enough manipulation and sabotage during 'FACE' debut last year, as well as mass manipulation of charts for the one they chose as their "breakthrough super-star".

And now suddenly there's a "recomeback" for jk out of nowhere.
