Finally back with another post… after a month 😃

⭑.ᐟ The way I like to think about the sun, moon and rising is this: Your moon is who you are when everything else is stripped away from you. It is how you process your emotions and it’s the filter through which you see the world. It is the baseline “you” that you revert back to when you are running on empty. The rising is who you are at your best. When you’re operating from your rising sign you are at your peak performance. It’s probably the you that feels happiest. It is also who you aspire to be in life, who you want to be seen as. The sun is the “middle piece” it’s essence floats throughout your entire chart. I think of it as a subtle influence that underlies every part of you. Whenever you do anything there is always a part of your sun inside that action, thought or decision. I also like to think that the rising sign is the way in which you express your sun. For example, if you’re a Gemini sun and a Leo rising, you will express your Gemini in a Leo way.

⭑.ᐟ Fire moons may have felt like they couldn’t express negative emotions growing up and had to always seem positive and upbeat. Now they might have problems with opening up or admitting that they even experience sadness and pain. They might be masters at putting on a front with people even when they are losing it completely inside.

⭑.ᐟ Nobody talks enough about how funny Aquarius placements are, especially moon and sun. In my experience they are the best at coming up with hilarious inside jokes.

⭑.ᐟ People with planets in the 1h (especially if it’s the sun or moon or a stellium) are so genuine and you can tell they are not hiding who they truly are, they just couldn’t if they tried. They have a kind of congruency to who they are, and not as many layers to peel back (this does not mean that they aren’t complex people, just that they are real!) what you see is what you get! Also they really tend to embody the planets that are within this house. For example, my friend is a cancer rising with her mercury in there. I always thought she was a Gemini rising because she talks so much, even more than me as a Gemini rising LOL and she’s very analytical, but she just has a 1h mercury!

Fives Thoughts

Sooooo I literally just made a post being like 'here are some fun bits from Umbara because the arc is depressing and I don't wanna talk about the sad bits' but uh... I had thoughts in the last 15 mins and now I wanna share them. 😃

And of course tagging as usual for people I'm interested to hear opinions from: @saturn-sends-hugs @inkstainedhandswithrings @the-bi-space-ace

It's been a while since I watched these story arcs back-to-back, so a lot of the character development is really showing atm. And one I find interesting is a shift in Fives between The Citadel and Umbara.

Fives has always had a bit of a firey personality, but up until this point he's been a little bit held back with that passion for the most part. And I'm gonna touch in something that @novaceleste and @spaceyjessa spoke about in their podcast (@coffeeandclones I was just listening to it the other day and they talk about some interesting points. Defo recommend you check it out. Also #JusticeForDroidbait2024) because it really is the basis for this whole point. Despite Fives being the brasher, slightly more hardheaded personality, and Echo being the more by-the-books one, it's Echo that tends to do a lot of the talking when authority is involved. When they speak to Shaak Ti, it's Echo that takes the lead, while Fives is a little more hesitant.

And when they first meet Rex and Cody, Fives automatically introduces himself as CT-27-5555, despite being very open about his displeasure of being called that throughout their training. He has this louder personality but he tends to draw into himself and panic slightly when put in front of authority.

However, he still has these more fiery moments, like during his speech in ARC Troopers. When he's put in a fight, that spark within him comes out full force. "My blood is boiling for a fight." That's what drives Fives. That's where that passion comes from. He always wanted to make ARC trooper, to prove himself and to demonstrate that fire in the fight.

And yet when we get to the Citadel, he's surprisingly nervous. Echo seems to be fairly on board with everything, he's listening intently, he's down with the plan. But Fives is rather hesitant and doesn't seem totally enthused about the whole thing. They've made ARC trooper, they're being included in a specialist mission, the things that Fives so desperately worked for. But now that they're here? He's really not comfortable with it.

And I think that Fives' passion and drive is so prominent in the heat of battle because his adrenaline is going, he's got the energy to burn and so that's when we see this fire in him. But in the quieter moments, the meetings, the in-between fights? He's nervous. Those are the moments where he can sit on it and really think about what they're up against. And what becomes really apparent is that Fives is absolutely terrified of the thing that fuels his fire. The thing he worked so hard for scares the absolute shit out of him. And for good reason.

But it's never been so much of an issue because he had Echo. Echo, who's more level headed, who feels comfortable with plans and formats and authority. He could be the comforting presence that Fives needed outside of battle, while Fives could be the spark in it. They're like fire and water. They keep each other regulated, balanced.

But then The Citadel happens.

And watching the Umbara arc, I noticed that Fives doesn't have that very noticeable fear. It's not that it's absent, it's just that it isn't so obvious all of the time. Of course, some of that is going to come with experience, he's been an ARC for longer, he's know Rex for a while so there's slightly more comfort with that level of authority, but he's definitely more consistently confident than he was before.

So my suggestion is, what if that comes as a result of losing Echo (at least in part)? He doesn't have that calming presence anymore, the one to balance his nerves. He doesn't have someone to stand firm beside him or take the bigger step for the two of them, so he's had to learn to do that himself. I think part of it is natural growth that comes with experience (to quote Rex: "experience outranks everything") but I do also think it comes with no longer having that constant other half. Fives has had to learn to balance himself.

Like I said earlier, a lot of this links back to stuff said in Nova and Jessa's podcast, so I'd recommend checking it out. But I just wanted to add my extra thoughts on it, having just watched Umbara, because it definitely stuck out to me on this rewatch.

Capricorns are known for having to mature quicker than others because of responsibilities. This man is WIERD at heart🤣🤣 like he’s genuinely quirky lol it’s not a front like fr he’s so down to earth it’s crazy🥹 also his whole chart points to being very spiritual? esp with that 8th house stellium like he’s very into expanding his mind in any way possible so his could be heavily gifted and in pretty sure he knows this by now. He definitely ask himself “why me?”all the time like what did he do to end up so blessed/different?. He definitely would’ve had money regardless of fame as long as he stays true to himself and learns to give enough without being taken advantage of. First off we already know how dreamy and passionate he is when it comes to his communication skills, in school years he could’ve been the kid nobody noticed in class, also bullying could’ve been a issue, the type to sleep through class, also his siblings could be talented as well, he/they could have many secrets they share between each other. I’m getting that it could be hard for him to remember his upcomings sometimes because like it genuinely flew over his head💀 like yes he was there but he wasn’t there mentally sometimes lol same. Now he could’ve had an erratic home life he could’ve moved around a lot & moved far away at a young age since Venus is in the 9th. There is a lot of mars masculine energy here so he likes chaos/excitement in his home also lots of sporty/action stuff around the house I feel like when he first met bts it was like his first taste of freedom in a way. I tell ya rn there was never a dull moment where he lived lol. Him and his family were always in competition with someone they had to fight for their place. Struggle wise at times he could’ve been FIGHTING for his life lots of arguments and aggression (which makes sense since they said they didn’t really get along at first)but with the Taurus degree there was definitely struggles with money and food / stability and personal possessions which drove him to work even harder. *(not a pro. just for fun)

• chart ruler in gemini or at gemini degrees (3,15,27) are usually good at copying body movements - they could be really good dancers & catch on to choreography really quick. they're also good at copying reference photos if they're into art.

• i think people don't talk about how capricorn placements are escapists. something that truly pains them can be shrugged off not realizing that it can cause more problems. sort of the way pisces escapes reality with external influences, capricorns can escape their problems by ignoring them completely or creating more & fixing them as a distraction to gain back control.

How do I manifest my dream job if I don't even know what kind of job I want? My entire being is centered on becoming financially independent since I was a child, because I've never experienced that in my family; like STEADY money.

When I saw that also reflected in my birth chart 3 years ago, I was shook. I even saw that a lot of asteroids that have to do with financial abundance are placed in my 2nd house, alongside my NN. Yet here I am, completely LOST as to what I'm supposed to do, what my calling is, what talents I even possess to be able to land a job, zero creativity.

My God, how do you want me to accomplish these things??! Even giving me a Capricorn stellium in the 5th house and nothing has hit me yet. I'm already 27, about to graduate (hopefully in May this year) and then it's out to find a job. What do I even say at those interviews? Cuz I'm seeing that I'd have to lie my way through it, which I'd rather not do. Has anyone ever felt this FRUSTRATION?? Seeing how much you're supposed to be able to do in your birth chart, the absolute GOLD MINE (not only financially) that you're supposed to sit on and yet NOTHING has happened (yet?). Even in your most DESPERATE of conditions and pleas. I know. Patience. But it's easier said than done.

First off let’s talk about how Katsu trusts YOU the most in Bakusquad (because yes you are a part of Bakusquad) and so if you’re the only one who’s around when Eiji and I call, he won’t step away to answer. Because he knows you’ll silently watch but not make a huge scene and embarrass him he’ll casually answer and blush in front of you. When you give a lil “Tell them I said hi” without looking up from the notebook you’re scribbling in as the two of you sit and have coffee, he just huffs “Yeah Saturn says Hi or whatever.”

Ok so Denki, I think he watches the way Katsu gets flustered and wonders if he looks the same way when you call him and suddenly he’s texting you out of the blue like “Hey call me for a sec!” Immediately his phone rings and he picks up and it’s you on the other line breathlessly like “Hey! What’s wrong are you ok?” And Denki’s heart kinda like speeds up a little because he realizes you were worried about him🥺🥺.

And yeah you get a little miffed when he chuckles and goes “Oh nothings wrong I just missed your voice.” But you think It’s typical Denki to make missing your voice the same amount of urgency as an emergency. my brother passed away this year, and when i look up to his SR, he had 6th stellium which is the house of health, there is chiron, mars, jupiter and neptune sitting there. The Neptune (in pisces) makes me wonder, because the causes of his death is trough the ilness that remain unknown until the day he get into the hospital. Also, he have his sun on 8th house.

my friend went trough break up with his ex 2 times in one year before the final breakup so i look up to his SR chart and he had pluto and jupiter in his 7th house that year, both are in retrograde.

Last year i have my venus in 2nd house and i spend a looot of money to buy a clothes and beauty related product that year.

ㅡmy friend has gemini stellium in the 6th house in his chart, and he constanly nagging😂 i also can consider him as picky eater.

He often said something like “we have to communicate this”….”that’s why communication is important”….. “communication this and that” he mention that word a loooot. What in a gemini dictionary is this LMAO

this could be one-sided crush for years, long-term relationships, or even being unable to get over an ex for a long time.

Citadel Arc Strikes Again

Sooooo... I got to the bit of my Clone Wars rewatch that I've been procrastinating for weeks. And obviously, because the Domino Twins are involved, I have thoughts

Of course you all get dragged along as well 😙

Straight off the bat, look at our boys!!! I get so proud of them when I see them in their ARC armour. And I wanna know how much of a say Cody and Rex got in who came along on the mission because I like the idea of them just being like "our sons are coming and we will accept no objections"

Also, why does Echo look like he's ready to deck someone? Chill, dude. It's literally still the briefing.

But something I wanna talk about is how nervous Fives seems about this entire thing. While Echo seemed to be on board with the whole reprogrammed battle droid plan, Fives was less than enthused. And he was clearly unsure about the carbon freezing thing as well. It makes me wonder if he's been on edge about the mission from when they first found out about it and whether Echo had been comforting him and telling him that it was all going to be fine.

Because nothing makes this episode more gut-wrenching than the idea of a stressed out Fives feeling like something is going to go wrong and Echo telling him that everything is going to be okay. 😃

I don't know what happened to these guys during ARC training but Fives has become the one that's all "are we sure this is a good idea?" and Echo's in the briefing room like

And then we have "They're not about to let one of their own be tortured in the handing over of information that will help The Separatists win the war"

How does this show get more depressing with every rewatch? You think you're prepared but haha NOPE

Of course I have to mention Fives handling carbon sickness like an absolute champ 🤜

And I'm not sure why this following pic makes my heart melt so much but it just does.

I think it's because we never got much of these three in action together and just seeing them all in a shot like this just makes me think about how far the Domino Twins have come. Rex found these two when they were shinies and now they're all working together with Echo and fives as ARC troopers. They grow up so fast (literally). 🥲

Edit: Looking back at that pic for a second... are there two Echos? That's not Fives in the back. That's Echo's helmet design. And I'm not convinced that the pouches on the chest plates are on the opposite sides like they should be. Rex is talking to two Echos???

Next episode! Oh boy...

Every other clone death aside for a moment, this show really just glossed over the whole "a clone getting cut in half by a door" thing.

The idea of these three being stuck between two sealed doors with half of their brother is horrifying. And the show just moves on like this didn't happen. THEY JUST WATCHED ONE OF THEIR OWN BROTHERS BE CUT IN HALF BY A DOOR WTF

What a happy kids show 😀

And unfortunately it doesn't get much happier.

But I do want to talk about design for a moment because I feel like we don't talk about the clone helmets enough, especially when it comes to things like this shot.

Animating emotion well is hard. Animating emotion well when you can't see your character's face is harder. But what I love is that because of the fact that the top of the visor is just a straight line, you can change the emotion being shown by simply having the character tilt their head.

The first shot clearly shows Echo realising what he needs to do and the next is this very strong look of determination. Just a split second apart, with no change but the tilt of the head, and the emotion changes. It's so cool and I feel like it doesn't get praised enough.

A three-part tragedy:

I think what makes this so heartbreaking is not just the fact that Fives has now lost his closest brother, and the last remaining member of his squad besides himself, but also the fact that it's so sudden. It so quickly went from Echo and Fives to just Fives.

And this is going to be gutting for Rex and Cody as well. They found the Domino Twins as shinies, they would have watched them settle into the 501st, they watched them grow up, were the ones to promote them ARC troopers and were just so freaking proud of these two.

And they not only lost one of them, but they watched this pair of clones, who have been stuck together like glue from the beginning, be torn apart. They didn't just see Echo go, they saw Fives lose Echo as well and that's heartbreaking.

None of them have time to process it either. They have to get out of there and leave Echo behind.

This scene where Fives warns them about the hounds approaching hurt as well because he just sounds so... hollow. He sounds like a man whose lost all hope, and I don't blame him. There's an emptiness now.

Rant Incoming

THESE POOR CLONES. THESE POOR FUCKING CLONES WHO HAVE JUST WATCHED THEIR BROTHERS DIE AND COULD DO NOTHING BUT LEAVE THEM BEHIND ARE NOW HAVING TO PARTICIPATE IN A JEDI FUNERAL DESPITE THE FACT THAT THEY HAD NO OPPORTUNITY TO HONOUR THEIR FALLEN BROTHERS!!!

I'm not saying that Piell doesn't deserve to be honoured and have his body burned (side note: it's really convenient that there was lava everywhere for the whole burning the body thing) but this feels like such a kick in the teeth for the clones.

Also I just want Five's internal monologue here because he literally just watched his closest brother die trying to protect a Jedi who is now also dead. The important info still got back to the Jedi council but Echo gave his life to protect a man who didn't even make it off the planet.

ALSO THEY WATCHED ONE OF THEIR BROTHERS BE CUT IN HALF EARLIER WHY ARE WE IGNORING THE FACT THAT THAT WAS A THING???

Ngl I think I would rather just die than crawl across a wire like this

Despite being depressing as all hell, I do really like these episodes. I love something with actual tangible stakes and having points where they feel comfortable killing off important or well-loved characters is something I appreciate and respect (even if it just leads to endless despair about the Domino Twins).

It's a shame that Echo never gets mentioned between here and the final season because I would love to have explored Fives' response to his loss more. I do like how they handle it in these episodes though. It feels like there is at least some recognition of how Fives would be struggling with all this and it doesn't just have him trotting around like nothing happened.

Fives seemed so nervous for this mission and it's devastating to know how tragic it would be for him and Echo. They didn't go into this knowing that it would be the last time they ever saw each other, but it all got ripped away in an instant and there was nothing they could do about it.

And I think I'm just going to end it on this screenshot because I feel like it just sums it all up.

Predictions For Jeremy Corbyn According to Old Moore's Almanack for 2020

(Along with my notes and comments in brackets!! 🙂)

Leader of the Labour Party and life-long socialist Jeremy Corbyn was born on 26 May 1949. (Which makes him a Gemini ♊: that is his Sun sign.) Unfortunately we do not have his time of birth (which is all too common, for it not to be recorded in the UK!), but the astrological process "rectification" suggests a birth time of around 8 pm. This would give Mr Corbyn a Scorpio ♏ rising sign, which itself fits well with the events of his life so far.

Regular Old Moore readers will know that Jeremy has the Sun and also three planets in the easy-going and communicative sign of Gemini, which makes him social, interested in a variety of subjects and a natural orator. From a political point of view, Jupiter's position in idealistic Aquarius where he was born enables him to use his skills as a communicator to express deeply-held ideals even if they run contrary to mainstream opinion. (Which he always has. 😄)

It makes him a genuine idealist. Everything about his chart when taken collectively indicates that even if the rest of the world doubted Jeremy Corbyn's honestly held views (which it doesn't, especially that part of the world which is aged under 35! 🙂), he would stick to them like glue.

The question on many lips is what will happen to Mr Corbyn across the next year or two? For the answer, we can look at the planet Uranus and the aspect it forms to the planets in Jeremy's birth chart. Uranus is a strange and even a revolutionary planet (see, socialist and Labour folks!! Good sign that positive and lasting change is ahead!! 😃👍) and when active in a birth chart it can indicate unexpected happenings (which can only be GOOD, because it portends "upset" to the current "order"!) both positive and negative - and it might also signify an individual with a little bit too much self belief, occasionally to their own detriment. (Oh no no no 🤨 - our Jez isn't big-headed: for many years he was a humble backbencher; I think that line was written by a Tory on Old Moore's team!)

It is particularly interesting to note the similarities in Corbyn's birth chart with that of the late Michael Foot (hmm 🙄), a past leader of the Labour party and ardent socialist with similarly-held beliefs to Jeremy Corbyn. (And, it should be noted, a guy who believed in "Brexit" - or whatever it was called at the time: and at the time the British population rejected that!! I find it bitterly ironic however, than when the *Left* officially espoused "leaving Europe", it was pooh-poohed by the Press, and Foot was "Worzel Gummidge", and it didn't win him an election even though many Brits still complained about the metric system. Nowadays when *right*-wing politicians advocate Brexit, they are bigged up. That's the difference. Anyway: Foot's manifesto was rejected decisively by the voters in 1983. It still being the Cold War, his commitment to unilateral nuclear disarmament probably was a big factor. And, it must be said, he didn't have nearly as realistic, though progressive, and robustly-costed a manifesto as Labour does right now).

For all his intelligence and integrity, Michael Foot was not liked by the popular press. (OH WHAT A SURPRISE - as is the fact that Corbyn isn't!) 🤣🤣🤣 A press owned by the rich will NEVER like a non-Blair-style Labour leader!!) And we have seen that the same is true of Corbyn - and in both cases this is due to an afflicted Moon (more like an afflicted Sun and Mail! 🙄) in the birth chart and the association of the planets Jupiter and Saturn. Michael Foot never became Prime Minister and there are many astrologers who would pinpoint these astrological markers to argue that the same will be true in the case of Corbyn. (The stars 🌟 incline: they do not define! 😏 And Corbyn does not look a bit like Michael Foot physically: lacks his aged nutty professor image, which I think is a distinct advantage! He's much more sporty! 🚲👍)

Jeremy's natal chart certainly suggests a monumental struggle against adversity and public criticism because of the oppositions to Gemini. But while these forces make it difficult, they do not utterly rule out a move to Downing Street for Jeremy. He will need to combine wise decision-making (not always his forte - not my comment!), nerves of steel (which he certainly has) and plain good luck - but there is little doubt that when the chips are down, his chart does reveal that he is capable of all three.

"Dr Francis Moore" is the name of the original 17th-18th century English astrologer who started the yearly publication. (I personally have been reading it for a while - but obviously not for that long! 😏 I remember having my first copy practically shoved into my then teenage hands by a bearded guy selling them outside of Woolworths in St Austell. I sometimes think it is a sales tactic they should re-adopt! 😄 Anyway. I have long enjoyed the magazine; but have not bought it every year. Not everywhere stocks it: I have come to rely on McColls, who do. There is lots of interesting information in it this year (the 2020 edition) including tips on lunar planting. I might try that next year. 🙂

As I have said: "Francis Moore" was the name of the original guy, but now it is the pseudonym for the publisher's team of astrologers, who, we are assured, are extremely talented. 🙂 The editors claim: "In the Leader and political editorial which forms the heart of the book, year after year the astrologers describe the direction which the UK and the world will take and generally cover the key players who will take a major role."

The editorial says that its astrologers work 18 months ahead of actual events. That means that the 2020 edition (which appeared sometime this autumn) was written and compiled in/by the July of 2018.

So they don't have anything about a December 2019 election because that would be going a bit too far to predict!! 😏 (To be fair though, in the intro they do mention that there may have been a Tory leadership change in June or December of 2019, the former of which actually happened. The stars obviously indicated that there might also be instability/movement in December!!)

I can't compare it with the 2019 Almanack (which would have been written in 2017) because I didn't purchase it. Wonder if they do back editions??

But obviously they didn't see May as having much staying power: as there is no entry in the 2020 edition for her!! 🙄 (Don't know what it said in last year's edition.)

There's no entry in 2020 for Boris Johnson, either... 😏👍 (I'm sure they could have jimmied one in in the "stop press" period after he actually became PM if they thought the stars really were in his favour. So maybe they aren't!! ✴️)

There is however quite the 2-page spread on Donald Trump 😝 and the USA in general... It hedges around and about the possibility of a Republican victory in 2020. No details about, or horoscope of, Bernie Sanders though. Pity. I think they're missing an opportunity! 🙂👍
