Hello, I love your writings, I have seen that requests are open My request is: how would the links react to a reader who loves parties and Christmas stops, since she was born in December? you are free to reject if you are not interested or no longer accepting requests, no problem I'm not sure if it's requested here, can you tell me if I did it incorrectly
Thank you so much dear! hope you like it <3 This ended up being a Christmas special, by the way. And I ended up making an Isekai reader, as far as I know, there's no Christmas in Hyrule, right? well, but I managed to make it happen!

Christmas in Hyrule
I hummed a traditional Christmas carol as I walked through the inn we had arrived at a few days ago. The snow covered Hyrule and it was getting harder and harder to walk for hours on end, so we all ended up reaching a consensus that it would be best to stop for a while to stock up on supplies and recharge our batteries. I kind of had a little influence on this on purpose. I was able to take advantage of these more peaceful days to prepare decorations and other things just for this moment.
I spent days sewing, as best I could, red and green fabrics that I had bought in the last village we had passed through, collecting pine cones and doing my best to make decorations to hang on the largest pine tree near the inn. I approached my target with the object I needed already in hand, taking advantage of the fact that he was distracted talking to the Traveler.
— Hey! – The Veteran complained when I suddenly ripped his cap off his head, but was silenced when at the same moment I put on another one, red with a white pompom on the tip. – What the hell is this?
— Come on, get into the Christmas spirit! I’m starting to decorate for tomorrow.
— Christmas? – Rulie asked confused as Legend adjusted the hat on his head, huffing. – What’s tomorrow?
— Oh, right, I forgot I had to explain. – I sighed as I thought of the best way to describe my favorite holiday to people who had never heard of anything like it. – In my world we have this big holiday, one of the biggest of the year, which occurs in the winter, we decorate Christmas trees, lots of lights, a time of empathy and compassion, it’s the magic of Christmas! – They didn’t seem to understand very well, but I just continued. – It’s also a time to celebrate with family and friends, exchange gifts and eat a big meal together!
— Gifts and food? And I only need to wear this crappy hat for that?  I’m in.
I shrugged off the veteran’s comment, at least he agreed. I had already explained everything to Wild and Time yesterday, the Champion took charge of the food and left early in the morning to get everything that would be needed. The Old Man agreed to throw the party, and said that I was in charge, but it seems that I was responsible for telling the others as well. Nothing could ruin this day, December is my time, and Christmas is my holiday, everything will be perfect!
I followed my destiny to find Wind and Four, hanging decorations here and there along the way. The innkeeper didn’t mind at all, they were free decorations anyway. I had put out cookies to bake earlier and by now they were ready to be decorated, so I was looking for the two heroes. I’m sure the Sailor will have fun doing this, and Four is skilled with his hands, so it will be interesting, to say the least.
Since the youngest of the group is also the most curious, he was very interested in all the different things in my world, so I had the opportunity to tell him about all the most important holidays, and he was particularly looking forward to this one. I told him about every detail, about my most memorable Christmases, about Santa Claus, and I even made him believe faithfully in the old man who delivers presents, but he was a little sad because he only existed in my world and not here in Hyrule. Even though he won’t believe that Santa Claus came down the chimney and left presents, I bought some things to give him and wrapped them. I’m going to take them under the decorated pine tree later so he can open them in the morning. I want to make this Christmas as magical as possible, especially for Wind.
— I found you! Come to the kitchen, let’s decorate the cookies. – I said when I found the two blonds I was looking for. The youngest, already aware, got excited, while the shorter one seemed confused, but went anyway.
— Cookies?
— Yes, it’s like I told you, it’s a Christmas tradition like in her world! – Wind explained for me. – I also wish I could leave milk and cookies for Santa, but I don’t think he comes to our world... it’s a different kind of magic.
I agreed, I intend to keep this childish Christmas magic for as long as possible, if I can convince everyone it will be even better.
— Well, maybe next year you can spend Christmas in my world and experience that! That would be fun, wouldn’t it?
— Yes! I’ll be rooting for that.
— Wait, are you telling me that a magical old man comes to every house in the world in a single night and leaves presents for the children? And on top of that you have to leave milk and cookies? Does he stuff himself with milk and cookies all night?
I held back a laugh at Four’s indignation towards the tradition. Finally in the kitchen, I grabbed the cookies that I had left cooling along with the things we would use to decorate. There were no specific molds to buy, so I ended up making them freehand. It turned out well... as much as possible.
— Well, he’s a magical guardian of the children and the spirit of Christmas, a different kind of magic than what exists here. And he only gives presents to the children who have been good!
— That’s why this coming year I’m going to be totally good, I’m even going to stop playing pranks! – The Sailor seemed motivated, but I think that having saved the kingdom already guaranteed his place on the Santa’s good list for a few good years.
— Okay, I doubt that. – The Blacksmith came closer to see the cookies, while I took one from Wind’s hands who was about to eat it. – So, how do we do this?
◇
After spending the whole day yesterday organizing every little thing and having to explain everything about the holiday to each of the heroes over and over again, it was finally Christmas morning, and I was rudely woken up by the Sailor, who threw himself on top of me excitedly, more than ready to celebrate.
Going down the stairs of the inn I could see Wild already in the kitchen, preparing dinner, I intended to go there and help him, after all the whole idea had been mine, but I was pulled by the arm by Wind out of the house. He seemed excited to show me something, and that’s why he woke me up in a hurry, but I wonder what it could have been, that is until he took me a little further behind the inn and I saw the decorations, lights and gifts.
— Look, Santa really came! It’s a Christmas miracle, he came to our world because he knew we would be celebrating!
The hero of the winds said excitedly, pointing to the presents. I had mentioned that I would decorate a tree around here, in fact, but I think I forgot to mention that I bought presents too. Well, I guess it’s okay, I’ll let Santa take the credit for it this time, for the child’s happiness.
— Wow, it’s the magic of Christmas! Why don’t you go find out what yours are? – I encouraged him and he didn’t have to think twice before running to the Christmas tree.
I leaned against the wall of the inn, yawning and rubbing my eyes, still sleepy. I’m happy. Happy to be able to spend Christmas with these boys I love so much, and to teach them about this beautiful celebration.
— It was very kind of you to include us all in this tradition of yours. – Time’s voice coming from beside me caught me off guard. When I turned to look at him, he was handing me a present.
— Is this for me? – I didn’t expect to get anything this year.
— Well, I kind of owed you a present already and I bought this one for that reason, and I happened to have it ready for today. So, I’ll leave this one as your Christmas present, and then I’ll buy another one for your birthday. – He replied as he handed me the present, turning to go back inside the inn.
How did he know about my birthday?
My train of thoughts was interrupted by Wind’s call, who showed me all the cool things he had gotten and how happy he was. Thank goodness I made him write a little letter to Santa Claus to find out what he wanted. He excitedly ran with his things into the inn to show his brothers, and to let them know that they had gotten presents too.
I took advantage of this moment to open what I had received from Time, and I came across a beautiful necklace, delicate but very refined. How much did that old man spend on this!? Well, I guess I’ll have to thank him more appropriately later...
— Hey, the food is done, we’re just waiting for you. – Sky said, calling me inside. I smiled happily and followed him back to the inn.
I was worried about spending this Christmas away from my family, but I see that I was wrong, my other family is right here, and I’m happy to be able to spend this time with them.

Spreading Christmas Cheer
Tumblr media
This is a story based off of the movie Elf as requested by @alliswell21 It’s from “Jovie” i.e. Katniss’s POV, what she would have seen and fell in love with one Peeta ‘Buddy’ Mellark.
Rated T
Pt 1
I watch Peeta gently kiss the top of our first born’s head. Holly’s dark hair is braided into two plaits; her blue eyes closing softly.
“And Papa Elf said, grandpa was on the naughty list…” his voice was soft.
Suddenly Holly’s eyes widen as she remembers something. Her blue eyes are laser focused on Peeta. “Papá, es verdad que mamá estaba en la  lista de los niños malos?”
“Y quien te dijo esto?” I ask from the door. We never discuss my role in Peeta’s adventure, or the fact that I was on the naughty list. Ever.
“Santa,” Holly says.
Ese gordo, Santa has loose lips. I think about teaching him about keeping secrets until it’s time to explain to our child about the past. But before I can say anything, Peeta gives me a look. He always knows when I’m having evil thoughts. I sigh, and redirect my thoughts, because Peeta made me believe in love, joy, and Christmas.
“Your papa saved more than grandpa that Christmas. He saved me too.”
Holly’s eyes lit up like her father’s before the sleepiness creeps back into their depths.
“Now go to sleep so Santa can come down the chimney.”
"Night, mama, night papa," Holly whispers right before she drifts off to sleep.
Together we walked out of our daughters bedroom. Peeta slides an arm around my shoulders. He dips down and nuzzles my cheek. He steers me to the living room. I drag my feet. Peeta is up to something.
"Okay, spill it, Mellark."
He gives me a wide eyed smile.
The hair at the back of my neck stands up straight.
He's got that look, that please tell me a bedtime story stare, and not just any story.
"No."
Peeta pauses and gives me a puppy dog look with a full lip pout.
"No."
"Come on, Sweetums, my li’l sugar plum," Peeta says in an excited whisper.
"No...no don't waggle your eyebrows at me, Peeta. Buddy. Mellark." I pronounce each one of his names.
Peeta’s grins so brightly; his eyes shine brighter than Christmas lights. His hat is slightly crooked as he hops and does that stupid little dance of his that makes me want to tear off his green tights. Yep, I said tights. My husband was raised as an elf, a six foot two, blond, wavy haired, giant with broad shoulders, washboard abs, and is genuinely sweet. Sweeter than eggnog.
He grabs me by the waist. "You know you wanna," he says in that sexy time voice of his that's reserved only for me.
Canasto!
I should clarify for everyone listening to my tale; you should know canasto isn’t a vulgar or bad word. It means basket. But I like the way it sounds in Spanish. So I say it with real vehemence. It’s like peaches in Spanish sounds like a curse word. Melocotón! Tu eres un Melocotón! Which translates into you’re a peach.
I digress.
I let out a big sigh. There's no way I can say no to him and he knows it! Canasto!
"I love it when you tell the story of how we met from your point of view.“
"You’re an evil gremlin," I say with no heat in my voice. It's my personal nickname for him. As in the gremlins when they ate after midnight. However to be fair, if you see Peeta, he’s not scary at all, he’s more like a big teddy bear.
Peeta laughs and my heart flip flops. Because he is anything but; he is so congenial.
Peeta puts his hands on my belly, my very big belly. It's baby number 2; actually it's baby number two and three. They are counted as one until they're born. I know what he's doing, the evil gremlin! He's trying to distract me because I'm due to give birth. I have mild pangs because I’m carrying twins and I’m nearing my due date.
He carries me and sits me on his lap. “Now start from the beginning.”
“From the candy cane forest?” I ask.
“No from your point of view,” his eyes dance gently as he rests me against his chest, rubbing my bulging belly.
“Okay,” I say quietly.
“Don’t forget to start with once upon a time,” Peeta insists, trying to contain his excitement.
“Once upon a time.”
“This is going to be good,” Peeta whispers.
“Are you going to let me tell the story?”
“Oh yea,” Peeta placed a kiss on my nose. “Go ahead.”
Closing my eyes I picture the year things changed. Because everything in my life was about others and never myself. I was always trying to be someone else, what everyone expected of me.
It’s hard being a foster kid, and getting out of the system is kind of like getting out of jail. Suddenly you have all this freedom, but you’ve been conditioned to follow all of these rules, so when you are free, you do one of two things. You get in trouble, and try to get sent into an institution; some of us call it the iron college. Or you try to keep your nose clean and learn in the school of hard knocks. In my case, I kept my head above the water for my sister’s sake.
"I love my family," I muttered underneath my breath.
I muttered it again as my sister destroyed, no scratch that, mutilated Mariah Carey's "All I want for Christmas."
Did I forget to mention that I love my family?
I do. I love my family and there's nothing I wouldn't do for them, but at that moment I wanted to scratch my ears out with dull spoons.
My perfect baby sister is a smoking hot blonde runway model and the muse for Karl Lagerfeld, but she has the worst singing voice known to man. You want to torture someone, hire my sister, and have her sing to the person you want to torture. Within 3 seconds flat, she can have even the most hardened of spies spilling their guts like a canary.
The one thing I could not stand beside my sister’s singing was Christmas.
I loathed Christmas.
I was not ashamed to say it.  Every fiber of my body I hated Christmas!   If I had ever met the real Santa back then, he had better hoped that I was not holding my bow and arrow, because I would have shot him through the eye. Not that I believed in Santa then, but if I had known there was a real life Santa Claus, I'd have hunted him down, and burned the fat man's jolly red outfit. I would then gleefully take a joy ride in his sleigh into his workshop like Bill Murray did in Groundhog Day when he allowed the groundhog to drive him off the cliff into a fiery death.
At this point you are wondering why I hated Christmas so much.
There were many reasons why the holiday was so contemptible to me. One, my father died on Christmas day. Two, my mother checked out on us that same Christmas day. The next Christmas Eve was when my sister and I were separated into different foster homes.  It took me a few months to find my six-year-old baby sister. I had been sent to a foster family who used foster kids for slave labor, to have them wipe and clean their floors while the Mrs. of the family spent the whole day in luxurious spas and getting botox treatments, as if that was going to improve her mug.
My baby sister was luckier. Primrose was placed in a foster home in the middle of suburbia with a 2 story house with a picket fence. A woman named Cecilia and her husband Ronald had never been able to have kids, and they doted on my sister. They brought her up to be the princess she always said she was. Honestly, they were rather shocked when my twelve-year-old cynical self rolled up into their home screaming for my baby sister, Primrose. Prim came running out of nowhere and latched herself onto my leg like an octopus. Best Spring ever, so I do love the Spring.
But before you think we were reunited, we weren’t. The family that had Primrose never wanted me. And even if they did, we technically didn’t have the same last name. Primrose carried my mom’s last name while I carried my dad’s. My sister was Primrose Emmerson and I was Katniss Everdeen. Our parents had a silly agreement. They were also foster kids, so they decided that I would take dad's name and the next one born would take our mothers name.
They didn't have a family, and her parents lived in a common law marriage. Their childish decision caused havoc. There was a mix up and we weren’t processed as sisters. Plus, I never stayed in the same foster home for long so even if they wanted me, they never knew where I was, but no matter where I was, I found a way to talk to Primrose, because as long as Prim was loved and cared for, my situation didn’t matter.
After our brief reunion, I had to go back to the family that I was placed in, and my sister stayed with her family. I didn’t stay with mine for very long; I became a statistic. A rolling number on someone’s computer screen. I was bounced around from one family to another in all sorts of seedy homes.
So you can see why I'm so jaded. Every bad thing that ever happened to me, has happened on that freakin’ holiday. And there was one more reason I disliked that holly jolly holiday so immensely. For some reason, the universe hated me.
No matter where I went, what city, what town within the state, I could guarantee you that it was a racket, a billion dollar racket to make parents crazy and buy things for their kids they didn’t need. For some reason, it pleased people to take my olive skin, dark hair, scowling self and put me into a sparkly Christmas cheer, “gag” pointy eared elf costume.
So with a week until Christmas, I was listening to my sister butcher, another holiday favorite song. Then Prim screeched. And I sighed in relief.
"Katniss," Prim said, coming out of the bathroom. “The water is cold!”
I looked heavenward. “The pipes. I forgot they’re working on the water main outside. They said there would be interruption to service.”
“Oh, you know I can get us a hotel room,” Prim said toweling dry her pale blonde locks.
My studio apartment wasn’t what my sister was used to. She was a freaking couture runway model, six foot one, so slim nothing off the rack fit her. “I’m sorry Prim, I was so excited to see you.”
Prim smiled. “Look, I only have a few hours left. How about I treat you to lunch before I go back up to Connecticut to spend Christmas with Cecillia and Ron.” Prim smiled at me. “You know you’re more than welcome to come. They always ask about you.”
I loved my baby sister. She was amazing. And I was damned glad that the Hendersons were an amazing couple, but I knew the score. They didn’t know what to do with me. “As long as you don’t mind me wearing my elf costume.”
Primrose chuckled. “You make the cutest elf though.” She patted me on the head using a baby tone with me. Prim was taller than me by a foot. I was tiny, or as Prim said, compact size.
“I could still put you over my knee, little duck,” I growled. “Así que mira ver.”
My sister laughed and she delighted in taunting me. Prim no longer spoke Spanish, but she understood the language. “You're adorable when you’re angry, an angry little elf, aren’t you?”
“Primrose,” I said in Spanish. I rounded my ‘r’s’ when I said her name.
“Awe, I don’t don’t get why you hate Christmas so much.” Primrose winked going to the screen divider to get dressed. My sister was used to dressing and undressing in front of dozens of people. I, on the other hand, was not so free with nudity. Primrose said I was a prude. If I hadn't told her to use the screen, she would have changed right in front of me.
“Did you know there are only three jobs an elf can have,” Prim said from over the screen.
I sighed. Unlike me, Primrose loved Christmas. Hell, she even suggested that there might be a real Santa Claus. I told her the only people who look for ways to sneak into people’s houses are criminals.
Prim continued her story about elves. “The type of elves that live in trees and make cookies, the types that make shoes, and the best type.”
“Let me guess, Christmas elves,” I said, rolling my eyes.
Prim grinned. She came around the screen wearing thigh high red boots, jeans and a camel tunic sweater that looked like cashmere. “Come on sis, let me treat you to breakfast so that you can go terrorize the children of Macy’s toy department.”

You a Christmas fan? Or are you on the side of the rebellion
CHRISTMAS!!!!!!!! i love christmas. i love santa and the reindeer and the presents and the candy and the tv specials CHRISTMAS!! it’s all so painfully unnecessary and nonsensical. the story tropes are universally bad yet there are so many of them. same with the music. and yet it’s held in such high regard? the way it overrides everything else that is going on and everyone exists in a fantasy world for a little while is crazy. i love it so much. im being so serious. i love when people do dumb and stupid shit for stupid and dumb reasons. it’s cold and food is scarce so humans huddle and sing songs to be happy and somewhere along the way we invented the TOY WIZARD!!!
Christmas was never a religious holiday for me even when I was religious so it doesn’t bug me. The religion and the commercialization make everything stupider and I love that. I love when things get stupid. it kinda sucks that big companies spend the whole season squeezing money out of you, and that churches spend the whole season pretending that they have a monopoly on the concept of human togetherness. but stupid fun for the hell of it winter traditions existed long before capitalism and long before jesus and will exist long after they’re both gone.

summary : Lando Norris’ teasing doesn’t stop on the slopes. With cold weather, bad skiing, lots of unwanted flirting (or at least that’s what lando thinks), and a soothing hot tub, another day in your new favorite christmas town is done.
og summary : Spending Christmas with my brothers best friend isn’t my ideal way to celebrate. With my parents in the maldives and my ex calling me non stop, I was hoping for a small town cozy christmas! I was going to get that with Max and his girlfriend until Lando Norris worked his way into the mix.
listen up : suggestive comments! dual pov! swearing! i’m starting to love this fr! comment to be on tag list <3

“Morning, Sunshine!” Lando Norris swings my door open, leaning against the door and smirking at me.
Max pops out behind him, “Time to hit the slopes!”
P is the third in my door frame, “Up and at ‘em!” I loudly groan and push my face back into my pillow. Fuck my weird friends and their urge to piss me off.

lando
P forces us all into a shop to look for hand warmers before we go on the slopes. I find a candy cane and pop it in my mouth while looking around mindlessly, not truly caring about the small things.
I find Y/n looking at the Christmas cards. I tug on her braid, her head dipping back as she yelps slightly. Turning to me with a stern look on her face she says, “Can’t you go bother Max for once?”
I grin, the candy between my teeth. “You’re so much nicer to look at though.” Her eyes roll and she turns back to the cards. I get closer, looking over her shoulder, “Late shopping?”
She eyes me, “Just looking.”
I hum to the Christmas music playing and reach over her shoulder to grab a card, “I like this one.”
She scoffs, looking at it with me, “Of course you do.” I laugh as I read the piece of paper.
It has a little Santa stuck in a chimney and reads, ‘I might not come down the chimney, but will surely go down on you.’
She does not find this as funny as me, but I still clock the smile on her face. She smells like cinnamon and peppermint, but that could also be my candy.
“What did you ask Mr Claus for christmas?” I ask her as she turns to face me fully.
“Definitely not dirty Christmas cards.” She scoffs, motioning to the others on the shelf, “My ex to stop calling me? My work to pay better? A trip to Paris?”
I raise a brow, “You know there’s a great little feature called ‘block’, right?” I only really heard the first thing she said. I joked about her ex but am not liking the sound of him calling her still.
She sighs, crossing her arms over her sweater, “What’d you ask for, then? A good start from pole?”
“Mmm, there’s my little comedian.” I feel like I'm in F1 twitter when I'm around her. Biting the end of my candy cane, I answer her question, “I asked for Someone to go down on.”
She lets out a genuine laugh, “You mean someone to go down on you?”
“No.” It’s quick because I mean it. Her brow raises slightly as I look her up and down before leaving her in the paper aisle. I’m serious too, but I left out the part that I’d hoped would be her.
“Bob!” Max says as I walk up to him and P, they’re staring at gloves. “Need your help mate, pink or yellow?”
“God I was better off with your sister.” I quickly turn, making my way back to Y/n.”
She’s still next to the cards, I see the back of her as I approach. But something’s… off. There’s a man I do not know, making her laugh…?
Fuck no.
I can’t see her face but I can see his, definitely not her type. Blonde, blue eyes, swedish? Who cares.
I switch my candy cane to the other side of my mouth, walking up with one hand in my pocket and an annoying smile on my face.
The guy sees me and his smile instantly fades. I stand behind Y/n again as I hear her sigh, pinching the bridge of her nose.
“You’re Lando Norris.”
I blink, pulling the candy cane out of my mouth and looking him dead in the eye, “I don’t know who that is.”
He says an awkward goodbye and just as I think Y/n is going to yell at me, she turns, laughing. “You’re an ass.”
Her laugh makes something inside of me warm, “Yeah, I know.”
Max and P pop into our aisle, “I chose yellow!” Max smiles as his eyes move between the two of us.
I step around her, getting far before Max senses anything, “Perfect bro, really your color.” Y/n says sarcastically as she follows me out.
P gives us both a look as I stare down the blonde one last time.
⋆༺
I’m snowboarding with P while Max and Y/n are Skiing. I try not to laugh at Y/n as she falls on her ass but It just comes out! I ended up halfway down the hill while halfway on my board after she pushed me.
The snow last night was perfect and Max and I cruised for some time after losing Y/n and P. “I’m calling P.” I say after they stopped responding to us.
It’s Y/n who answers. She sounds panicked, “Lando!?”
“Y/n? What’s wrong?” I look at Max who sees my face and gets just as nervous as me. I can hear her heavy breathing, “Hey, seriously, what is it?”
“P got hurt and we’re in the lodge and-” Max stops breathing as Y/n sniffles, “And you two are so fucked and tell Max he’s sleeping on the couch!” Her change in tone makes my heart slow and my eyes roll.
“So she’s fine?” I ask, a little sassy now.
“Yes you asshole! We’re getting hot chocolate because you two ditched us!” Max grabs the phone and starts yelling at his sister.
I can’t help but laugh at the scene unfold. Max starts walking away, carrying his board as I struggle to unlock my boots to go after him.
P is most definitely is fine, and Max is most definitely laying it on thick. “My love!” He hugs me from behind as she rolls her eyes, bringing her drink to her lips.
I slide a chair next to Y/n and lean close to her. She doesn’t look at me, doesn’t say anything, barely even moves.
“You’re evil, Sunshine.” I see the smirk on her face as her shoulders lift up and down softly.
“Not evil, just motivated.” The corner of my mouth lifts, something that’s out of my control when I'm this close to her.
P and Max giggling force me to look away from her and focus on the loving couple. P has her hand on his face as he stands behind her chair still, “Alright! Who’s up to hit the slopes?”
I keep learning more and more things about Y/n on this trip and today is no different. This woman cannot ski.
“Christ, Y/n!” Max yells at her from the top of the mountain. We all just watched Y/n fall on her face while getting off the ski lift. “Should I even trust you to go down this mountain alone?”
“Don’t worry Maxie!” I grin, slapping my hand on Y/n’s head, “I’ll keep an eye out.”
“Right like you’re any better! If I leave her with you then she might just end up getting pranked on your instagram story.” P laughs at this.
“Why doesn’t she just chill on a bunny slope?”
“Um excuse me! I am not that bad! I can handle myself!” Right as she says this, she slips but catches herself, clearing her throat. “It’s fine.”
Besides my slight concern for Y/n slowly following behind us, it’s a great day on the slopes. None of us are experts so we keep it chill and fun. Plus I know i’ll be sore if I do too much.
P races me to the bottom for the third time and just when I'm about to tap out, I see some guy talking to Y/n. Her gloves and goggles are off and I'm so distracted that I almost get knocked over by Max trying to stop.
Max and I are both about to walk over to her but P stops us in our tracks, holding us by the hoods of our jackets. “You two are the absolute worst, she does not need this right now!”
“I’m not letting her have some holiday fling after her heart was ripped out by that idiot!” Interesting reaction from Max.
He’s always been passionate about his sister's safety and has not once liked any boyfriend. But this is new and a bit threatening.
“You don’t have to ‘let’ her do anything! She’s a grown woman who’s pissed off and deserves a good man.”
“Like he’s a good man?” I mumble, watching the guy bite his lip and flip back his stupid fluffy hair that falls in his eyes.
I can feel P staring at me. “Both of you shut up and go get in line for the lift.” Y/n turns back to us, clearing seeing us watching and looking away quickly.
She excuses herself, blushing a bit and it’s definitely not from the cold. I know there’s a disgusted expression on my face and I don’t even try to change it.
I know she’s pretty.
Scratch that, she’s beautiful. Like actually the sort of stunning that makes her feel like a magnet. I know this about her! I tell her often.
But I do forget that she actually is seen by everyone else around us. I see the turning heads, the guys going up to her, I've just chosen to ignore it. Twice in one day is a little too much for our wholesome Christmas week though.
Maybe it’s too much for me because I hate every man that even looks her way.
P breaks the silence, “He was cute.”
Max groans at his girlfriend's comment, “Don’t encourage her!”
“Chill out! He was way too old.” Max looks shocked that this is his only flaw, “And i’m spending christmas with you guys blah blah blah, come on! I’m ready to ski again.”
Max drops a glove off the ski lift and we fall back into our usual friendship banter. I do love my friends, even if Y/n won’t admit she likes me in the slightest.
I laugh the whole way down the snow, racing all three of my friends as Max tries to sabotage his sister.
“I’ll eat your fucking gingerbread house, Max!” Is Y/n’s threat to her brother as she zooms past me.
The Fewtrells are very serious when it comes to gingerbread.
I slow and grab some snow to throw at Max, I unfortunately miss him and hit P.
The blonde screams at the snow stuck on her goggles and beanie, “Oh you’re gonna get it-” I'm suddenly being chased by an angry girl in all pink.
I can hear Y/n laughing as Max almost gets taken out by a kid going faster than all three of us combined.
We all have a smooth run, and just when I actually believe that Y/n may be getting better, I'm shocked once more at her clumsiness.
She was ready to Ski again! She was not ready to be back on flat ground.
In fact, as soon as we start to move back to the ski lift, she twists her ankle.
“I’m fine!” She fights me, pulling her mask back up over her nose so I can’t see her facial expression.
“Lovely you’re clearly in pain.” P pulls off her goggles as Max asks for directions.
“I’m fine! Let’s go again.” When she starts to move forward, she winces. Max yells at her which makes her more upset and P more distressed.
“It’s probably just a sprain, let’s go to the medic.”
“No!” Y/n fights me again as she argues with Max and a very worried P, “I’m seriously f-”
If I hear her say ‘fine’ one more time, I might cut my ears off. She’s over my shoulder in an instant, her skis clicked off and in Max’s hands now. She hits my back but I can barely feel it through my layers.
“Let me down you cunt!” I’ve had Y/n on me far more times this trip than I expected.
“There’s that sunny personality I know and love.” I mumble as I maneuver my way through the crowd, smiling at the people who give me weird looks for having a screaming girl over my shoulder.
The medic area is small and already taken up by three crying kids. The look that Y/n gives me when I set her down might just be enough to catch me on fire.
I pull her goggles off her face as Max and P explain what happened and repeatedly explaining that she wasn’t actually skiing when she got hurt.
I wipe the snow off and smile at her pouty expression, “How much does it hurt?” I’m squatting in front of her as she’s sitting on a small bench.
She argues immediately, “Not even-” I unclip her boot and she makes a noise that is nowhere near pleasant.
“Tell the truth, sunshine.” something in her face changes when I say the nickname i’ve had for her since childhood. I don’t get to dwell on it because a woman in red and white smiles at us as she approaches.
Max and Y/n argue so much that we both get kicked into the hallway. I pull my beanie off and shake out my hair, “I know I get mad at you a lot.”
I raise a brow at my friend, one that’s rarely serious.
“But I do appreciate you caring for Y/n. Even when she’s a pain-”
“I can hear you!” Y/n tells from the room as I let out a dry laugh.
I whisper, “Just wanna keep that christmas spirit up.”
He narrows his eyes a bit, mumbling, “Right…”

Turns out, Y/n is fine. A bit sore but comfortably on Max’s back as we look at the reindeers, “Shit this really is a Christmas hallmark town.” Y/n says as P laughs at the creatures.
“I always thought reindeers were fake.” Max frowns as it eats a carrot from his hand hesitantly.
“What’s hallmark?” I say innocently. Little did I know I would be attacked by the three people standing next to me.
“Oh mate…” Max shakes his head, “You’re so single and it’s so obvious.”
P sighs, “And uncultured! We need to have a movie night.”
“It’s only the best TV Christmas program ever! There’s a million movies and they all loosely follow the same plot line with a couple of opposites and a small town and a failing business and an old man with a white beard who might be santa.
I laugh at them, “The fuck…? I have to watch now.”
“Not tonight!” P groans. It’s already pretty late, we grabbed dinner and are now walking through the town.
“Or tomorrow!” Max shrugs, “P and I are going out, date night!” Y/n’s jaw drops at this while I smile. “Please don’t kill my friend while we’re gone.”
Y/n rolls her eyes, still on Max’s back, “No promises.”
“Let’s get back.” I shiver, “P looks like she’s about to snap in half.”
She glares at me, “You’re the one whose teeth are chattering!”

“My whole fucking body hurts.” I groan as we walk into the house, the warmth comforting me instantly. Max throws the keys into the catch all and yawns.
P is practically asleep next to Max and Lando is not even out of the car yet, “I think I'm just gonna go up.” She hums, her eyes already closed.
“No!” I frown, pulling off my puffer, “Come in the jacuzzi with me, i’ll bring wine!”
She shakes her head, “Sorry, Y/n. I’m wiped.”
“Max?” I look to my brother as he brings his arm under his girlfriend to hold her up. He’s looking at her with such love even as she’s half asleep and practically drooling. “Whatever. I might snap in half if I don’t go in.”
I say goodnight to Max and P as I walk up the stairs alone. He was quiet the whole ride home which was definitely new but not unwelcome.
I change as quickly as possible into a brown bikini and wander into the cold with my uggs and a towel. The jacuzzi is already hot and soothes my aching legs and back.
I take in the cool air against my face and look up to the dark sky. It's absolutely covered in stars, the moon is most definitely the focal point.
I switch the jets on and close my eyes, breathing in slowly. Today was chaotic and all I needed was a good soak and some quiet.
As soon as I sink deeper into the water, the door creaks open and Lando appears. He’s listening to music and pauses when he sees me, pulling off his headphones.
“Oh.” Is all he says.
He steps into the jacuzzi, his arms bracing himself as he slowly sinks into the water. I can see every muscle in his body and am trying to hide the feeling I get as he lets out a moan. He sucks in a breath and leans his head back, his adam's apple bobbing as he sits down in the hot water.
“Shit that feels good.” His voice sounds tired and content with the steam.
I’m almost speechless at his casual display of what, to me, is deeply sexual. Then again, a lot of things Lando does are sexual.
“How’s the ankle?” he asks.
I cringe at the memory of us on the mountain, “Better.” I know he came here because he knew I would be. I sigh, “My legs hurt.”
“Want a massage?” His grin is promptly back on his face, cheeky as ever.
“Max is gonna beat your ass someday.” It’s true, the amount of times he’s yelled or thrown something at Lando because of his remarks is astounding. And hilarious.
He swings his arms around the sides of the hot tub, “I’d like to see him try.” He sounds cocky just saying it.
I sigh, looking out at the land beyond our house, “So would I, trust me.”
He sinks his arms back down in the water, “Oh please, don’t pretend you don’t like my teasing.”
“I hate it.” I say it to his face, a face that looks unconvinced as he dips under. He comes back up, wiping his face and pushing his curls out of the way.
He changes the subject and floats around a bit, “I thought you knew how to ski.”
I swear his sole purpose in life is to aggravate me! He’s sitting across from me, looking all innocent with those green fucking eyes that I can see even in the shitty light.
When I don’t answer, he turns and rolls his shoulders back. My eyes trail down his back… until his voice rings out again.
“Stop checking me out and come here.” I don’t know why I do it, there’s just something about his tone that urges me to float across the hot tub and rest my arms on the side.
“I got Max a present… but I don’t know if he’ll like it.” I raise a brow at Lando’s soft words.
“Um… what is it?”
He turns around so we’re facing opposite ways, my knees resting against the all around seat, “I can’t tell you.”
I sigh and lean my head against my arms, “Well how am I supposed to help then?”
“Ask Max what he wants.”
I roll my eyes, “He said he wants the Mclaren championship and that sort of happened so…”
Lando smiles at this, sighing softly and looking at me, “Well, what are you getting him?” His eyes are so sincere, one of the few times he isn’t flirting or teasing me. He must catch my odd pause because he furrows his brows, “You okay, Sunshine?”
I look back at the trees, “Stop calling me that.”
“I have other nicknames I'd be happy to use.” I can hear the smirk in his voice as I rub my eye and bite back a smile. I hate when he makes me laugh.
“So do I. They're all race related, sure you’d like to hear?” It’s like my words go completely over his head, his eyes go soft.
“You watch my races?”
I roll my eyes again, “That’s what you got from that?”
He scoots closer, teasing, “You watch my races!”
“I watch F1 races!” I retort, “Don’t act all high and mighty, you’re definitely not my favorite driver.”
“Who the fuck is your favorite then?”
I shrug, egging him on a bit, “Oscar and Lewis.” I can see him fighting the urge to roll his eyes.
“Nuh uh. I saw you on Max’s stream wearing my merch once!”
I scoff, “Once! I was cold and he gave me your hoodie. Apparently I can’t wear anything of Max's so I had no choice.”
“I knew he was my friend for a reason!” He acts like his life goal was finally figured out before smiling softly, “You looked good in it.”
I eye him solely because I know he’s watching me and I won’t give him the chance to not be intimidated, “I look good in a lot of things.”
His eyes rake down body, or at least as much as he can see with the jets still on. “I know.” I feel sick, but not nauseous, more like butterflies.
With one last smile, Lando tilts his head back and looks up at the sky. My ears are cold but I could care less. I feel weirdly at peace, even with the man who won’t stop bugging me.
His nose is red and It feels oddly endearing. I tear my eyes away from Lando and back to the snow that’s started slowly falling over us.
There’s a quietness here, one you don’t get in the city. I can hear Lando breathing and music far in the distance.
I don’t realize he’s staring at me until my eyes find his again. How long has he been watching me?
“Stop that.” I say quickly.
His head tilts back ever so slightly, a curl in his face and the corner of his lip turning upwards, “Stop what?” He blinks, as if he’s the most innocent man in the world.
I motion towards him and breathe out, “Thinking…”
“What do you reckon I'm thinking, Sunshine?” He’s making me angry and I don’t even know why.
“Nothing good…” I whisper it, It feels illegal to say it any louder than that.
His eyes flick to my lips, his nose scrunching a bit just as my heart starts beating faster, “It’s good. It’s about you.”
I hum, stretching my arms out in front of me, not caring about the cold against my fingertips, “I figured, you seem to have that theme often.”
He laughs at this, shaking out his hair and standing. I watch his toned body leave me in the water all alone. The heat is the exact same yet I feel much colder without him.
Lando grabs his towel, wiping off, not looking at me.
“You're not gonna tell me?” I can’t help but say it fast to get it over with.
He looks back, wiping his chest and shrugging, “Maybe later.”

A Five Hargreeves x Female Reader Christmas Smut Request
Hey, I had an idea and I was wondering if you could write something about it? Five and y/n are married, they want to have their own children and that's why they're doing it like rabbits. Five plays Santa Claus for Diego and Lila's children, and then he fucks Y/n while wearing the costume. Y/n becomes pregnant, a Christmas miracle
Thank you, anon, I had a lot of fun writing this! Merry Christmas to all the Five fans out there! 😘🎄☂️
Warnings: Smut, mild breeding kink, Santa kink?, corny sexual innuendos, no use of y/n
The kitchen floor was a disaster as you glanced to the side, eyeing up the spilled wine and dried pasta that had been flung off the counter minutes earlier. It would be a bitch to clean up, especially with the red wine seeping slowly into the wood. You should really mop it up sooner than later to avoid any staining. As you were thinking this, your body was pulled roughly forward as Five slammed his hips against you. Your arms were splayed out to the side, your palms leaving streaks on the marble countertop as you braced yourself against another pounding.
One minute you had been calmly preparing dinner together, and the next you were both hungry for something much more than linguine. Just one look from him; that one that made your pulse race and your panties wet, and you were both frantically ripping each other’s clothes off.
It was already the second time that day, but it didn’t matter. It could have been the tenth and you’d still be dying for him. You had been married a year but that hadn’t slowed either of you down. After Five told you he wanted to start a family with you, and you immediately agreed, the two of you had been going at it constantly. Unfortunately, it had been months and still no luck.
“Five…” you gasped out. “The wine.”
“Fuck the wine,” he hissed before gripping your thighs tighter. “You’re not going to be able to drink it after I finish with you anyway.”
Your breathy laugh turned into a moan when his cock rammed into you again. “Oh shhhhit…Five, I love you.”
“I love you too, sweetheart. Now shut up so I can put a damn baby in you.”
With another hard slam, Five was bottoming out inside of you as your fingers squeaked across the slick marble again; the lower half of your body held firmly in his grasp with your legs wrapped around him.
“Don’t…don’t come yet,” you begged through gritted teeth.
Five’s frustrated growl was low in his throat as he slowed his pace. Grabbing your hand off the counter by your wrist, he shoved it between your legs. With his hand covering yours, he worked your fingers against your clit, pressing hard and insistently. When you let out a loud cry and thrust your hips up, he smirked.
“You like that?”
You nodded with another high-pitched moan. “Yes…keep…oh fuck…” you couldn’t finish your sentence because Five had started driving into you harder, all while keeping his and your fingers pressed against your engorged clit; the rhythm of his fucking creating a pulsing sensation that made you bite your lip and close your eyes.
With one last, rough thrust, Five had you crying out while your orgasm washed over you and he emptied himself inside of you at the same time. With his hips stuttering against you, he made sure every last drop of cum was being pumped out. After he was finished, he kept you in the same position, not pulling out just yet. You made a move to sit up before he gently pressed you back down by your shoulder.
“Just one more minute, darling,” he said breathlessly. “We want to make sure we give my guys a fighting chance to get up there.”
You laughed. “Five, maybe you missed out on sex ed when you were a kid, but they will find their way up there no matter what, I promise.”
He shook his head with a smile. “I’m not taking any chances. I have a good feeling about this particular gang.”
After a few more seconds, you started squirming around. “Five, my back hurts, can I get up now?”
Five let your legs go and he took a step back, pulling out in the process. He gave you a hand to pull you up and helped you get down from the counter. He was still panting hard, his chest covered with a thin sheen of sweat and his dark hair a mess on top of his head. Strands of it flopped over one eye and stuck to his forehead as he smiled at you with pride.
“Good game,” he said with a swift smack to your ass that had a little more force to it than was necessary.
You jumped and rubbed at the spot with your hand, frowning. “Ow.”
But Five was already walking towards the refrigerator while you admired his tight, toned ass on the way.
“What are you doing?” you asked, turning the heat off on the stove since the water for your abandoned dinner was about to boil over. You looked around for your panties and sighed when you saw they were lying in a puddle of Bordeaux. “Damn it,” you muttered.
When you looked up again, Five was standing in front of the open fridge, downing a bottle of orange Gatorade without taking a breath. As you watched in awe, he loudly gulped down the last swallow, stuck the cap back on the now empty bottle, and chucked it over his shoulder where it bounced off the wall and clunked to the floor.
“Electrolytes,” he said as a way of explanation when he saw your confusion. “Gotta keep hydrated.”
“For what?”
Five pushed his damp hair off his forehead, the sight of his flexed tricep drawing your attention. “According to my spreadsheets, this is prime baby making time.” He stretched and pulled his arms across his chest like he was gearing up for a marathon. “Plus, I’m on a roll now, so I don’t want to lose momentum,” he further explained while doing a few side bends.
“Ok wow, naked lunges…that’s…something you don’t see everyday.”
“Gotta limber up. Don’t pretend you’re not turned on.”
You laughed. “Shouldn’t we eat dinner first?”
You let out a yelp when he blinked directly in front of you, grabbing your ass with both hands and grinding his already growing crotch against you. He shook his head with a devious smirk. “Fuck first. Food later.”
Then you were whisked off in another zap of blue to the bedroom.
**************************************
It was December, and getting close to Christmas when you walked in on Five having a heated conversation with someone over the phone.
“No. No way. Absolutely not. Forget it.” Pause. “Because it’s stupid, that’s why!” Pause. “You cannot use my niece against me like that.” Pause. “I don’t care if you think I owe you a favor after kneeing you in the nuts when we were eleven! Pause. “Look, the answer is no. End of story. Not happening.”
When you gave him a questioning look, he turned away from you. Just to be nosey, you leaned in, trying to eavesdrop on the conversation. On the other end of the line, you heard Diego’s voice.
“Come on, don’t be an asshole,” Diego barked.
“Me an asshole?!” Five retorted in disbelief. “They’re your damn kids, why can’t you do it yourself? Or ask any one of our other idiot siblings?”
There was an exasperated sigh from Diego. “Like I said before…I need to be there or else it’s going to look suspicious. Luther is too big and dumb, Klaus would flake out and forget, and Viktor is like the size of an elf. So, that leaves you. Not to mention you’re the only one that can blink inside and pull off the whole ‘magical mystique’ part of it. Come on, Five…please?”
“Fuck,” Five groaned, running a hand down his face. “You do realize I’m not exactly built for this role, right?”
Diego laughed. “Yeah, I know, you’re a skinny little shit, but the suit comes with padding.”
“No! No padding. I don’t need to look like even more of a dumbass than I’m already going to.”
“So, you’ll do it?”
Finally understanding what was going on, you yelled into the phone, startling Five who hadn’t known you were listening from behind. “Five would love to play Santa for the kids, Diego! Tell Lila to bring the suit by and I’ll make sure he’s all dressed and ready on time for Christmas Eve!”
“What the fuck?” Five said to you, his eyebrows creased together in that way that always made you laugh. “Thanks a lot.”
You grinned as he hung up the phone. “You know you were going to do it anyway. I was just moving the process along.”
“I’m going to look like an asshole,” he grumbled.
“Well, Five, you are an asshole, so it fits,” you giggled before planting a kiss onto his mouth that was set in a straight line of annoyance. “But you are my adorable asshole who will look very sexy in a Santa suit.”
**********************************
When Christmas Eve arrived, Five tried to back out of the deal.
“No way…this isn’t happening…I told you,” he insisted while you just looked at him with your hands on your hips.
“Five, come on. You’re doing this and that’s that. Diego and Lila are already expecting you and you can’t let them down.
“I don’t care,” he protested weakly.
You gave him a soft kiss. “Five Hargreeves, you can pretend you’re a hard ass all you want, but we both know you are as soft as a teddy bear when it comes to those kids.” You shoved the Santa hat in his hands. “Which is one of the many, many reasons I love you.”
“You know, you’re very cute but you’re a giant pain in the ass.”
You nodded. “I’m aware. No go on, go get changed.”
Parked outside of Diego and Lila’s house, Five continued to sulk. When you glanced over at him in the passenger seat, you let out a loud laugh. He was glowering in his usual fashion whenever things weren’t going his way, but all while wearing a red-velvet Santa suit, complete with fake beard and hat with a little white puff on the end.
“Five…are you the Grinch or Santa? Come on, you can’t be that ornery, you’re supposed to be jolly.”
He looked at you with what you assumed was a scowl, but was hidden under the white polyester beard. “I am not, nor will I ever be, jolly.”
You sighed, starting to get fed up with his attitude. “Stop acting like this is going to kill you. Just shut the fuck up, blink inside, and try to be a decent Santa. Otherwise you’re going to have one disappointed niece, a very angry brother, and a wife that will not be going anywhere near your North pole later tonight, if you catch my drift.”
His frown deepened. “That’s not fair.”
With a shrug, you opened the car door and stepped out. “Don’t forget the bag!” you reminded him as you closed the door and headed for the house.
You had texted Diego on the way so he, Lila, and the kids were already gathered in the living room. When you walked inside, Grace ran to you and hugged you around your waist.
“You’re here!” The little girl peeked behind you. “Where’s Uncle Five?”
“Oh, he was busy, he couldn’t make it. He said to tell you hello and that he’ll see you tomorrow at the family Christmas party.”
“Oh ok,” Grace said, obviously disappointed. Then a smile returned to her face. “Guess what? We’re going to a parade later. My dad said we’re all going to freeze our freaking asses off, but my mom told him to stop being a baby and man up.”
With a laugh, you looked at Lila, who was busy holding a squirming toddler. “Well, you are being a big baby, Diego,” she said to her husband.
“I’m not being a baby and we are going to freeze our asses off,” Diego grumbled while carrying the other twin on his hip.
Just then, there was a blue flash of light and Five appeared in front of the fireplace, with his costume on and the bag of presents that you had made him bring slung over his shoulder. You could tell he was still not happy, but he looked a little less grumpy than he had been in the car.
Grace shrieked. “Santa!”
“Wow…it is Santa!” Diego said excitedly before giving Five a stern look. “Hey, Santa…don’t you usually say ‘Ho ho ho’?”
You watched with a smile as Five’s eyebrows scrunched together.
“Ho. Ho. Ho,” he deadpanned.
Being six years old, Grace was immune to her dad’s or her uncle’s sarcasm and she ran to Five, jumping up and down with glee. “Santa! You’re real!”
“Of course, I’m real,” Five said in his normal, clipped and irritated tone. Then, after seeing the judgmental looks from the other adults in the room, rolled his eyes and deepened his voice. “I came to visit you because you’ve been so good this year and I apparently had time in my very busy schedule to just drop in for a random chat.”
Grace looked out the window. “Where’s your reindeer?”
“I had to put them down,” Five said dryly until Lila cleared her throat with an icy glare. “Downtown. I left them downtown for the parade. They needed to rest.”
“Then how did you get here?”
“Oh, right. Well, I have a backup engine on the sleigh. Which is parked on the roof right now, so don’t even ask me why you can’t see it.”
Grace eyed him up suspiciously. Then she poked him in the stomach. “Why aren’t you chubby like in the pictures?”
Five grinned and looked over at you. “Because Mrs. Claus has been very stingy with her baking these days, so I’m not eating as many cookies and pies as I usually do.” He gave you a wink. “Even though I love eating her pie.”
You tried to hold in a laugh, but it came out as a quiet snort while you looked down at your feet. You heard Lila mutter “Ugh, gross,” under her breath.
Grace’s face lit up. “That’s ok! We have cookies for you!” She hurried over to the nearby dining table and grabbed a plate full of messily-decorated Christmas cookies, bringing them back to Five and handing them to him. “Here! I baked them just for you.”
Five smiled as he took the plate. “These look delicious.”
“Oh, wait! I almost forgot,” she said before going back to the table and returning with an opened bottle of beer. “Here. I wanted to give you milk, but my dad said you’d like this more.”
Five looked up at Diego, who was grinning. Five nodded a thanks to his brother as he took the bottle. “He was right. Thank you, Grace.”
“So, Santa, I bet you want to know what Grace wants for Christmas, right?” Diego asked with added emphasis.
“Oh right! Yes, absolutely,” Five said, setting down the cookies and beer on a side table. He sat down in one of the arm chairs.
Grace immediately climbed up onto his lap, her little face shining with innocence and wonder as she gazed up at Five’s fake-bearded face. He beamed down at her and the image melted your heart. You started to imagine all of the cute moments like this that would surely happen once you and Five had your own children. You had no doubt that Five would make an amazing dad, despite his usual old-man grumpiness. He had been through so much in his life and he deserved to have a family of his own. You just hoped you would be able to give him one.
As you were daydreaming about that, Grace began rattling off all of the things she wanted to get for Christmas. With each thing that she mentioned, Five would glance quickly over to Diego, where his brother would give him a thumbs up or a thumbs down, indicating whether or not they had bought those gifts for her already. Five would either agree or make up some excuse as to why he couldn’t bring her that particular gift.
“And a pony!” Grace added at the end of her very long list.
Diego and Lila both gave very emphatic thumbs down. Five shook his head sadly. “I’m sorry, but I can’t bring you a pony.”
“Why not?”
“Because it won’t fit in the sleigh.”
“But doesn’t your sleigh fit all kinds of presents?”
“Uh, yes…but ponies don’t like to fly.”
“What about pegasuses?”
“Those aren’t real.”
“Yes they are.”
“No, they are not.”
“Yes they are.”
“No…” Five continued to argue through gritted teeth. “They are not.”
“Ok!” Diego broke in, clapping his hands together loudly. “I think it’s time for Santa to wrap things up.”
Five gestured to the bag of gifts he had left on the floor. “I did bring you some presents early. Why don’t you go check them out?”
As Grace jumped down from his lap and ran over to the bag to peer inside, Lila plopped the twins on to Five’s lap, one on each leg. They were really too young to understand what was going on or talk in any real way, but they peered up at Five and babbled away. Diego took pictures of the adorable scene while Five chuckled when one of them tried to pull on his beard. Five looked over at you and smiled warmly.
After a few minutes, as Grace was happily pulling out her toys that you had picked out for her, she turned to her parents. “Ok, now you guys have to sit on Santa’s lap.”
“NO!” Diego, Lila, and Five all exclaimed at the same time.
You laughed out loud as you looked at their horrified faces, while Grace just looked confused. You decided to try and save the situation a little bit. “I’ll sit on his lap,” you said with a smile.
Lila rolled her eyes before taking the twins off, while Five grinned and patted his leg. “Well, come on over.”
As you sat in Five’s lap, your red sweater dress rose up a little over your bare thigh and he rested his hand on it, sending a warm tingling sensation up your spine.
“So, tell me…” Five said with a gleam in his eye. “Have you been naughty or nice this year?”
You pretended to think about it. “I’m not sure. A little of both maybe?”
“Hmmm…it’s not good to be naughty. Naughty girls don’t get presents.”
You stuck out your bottom lip and twisted a finger in his fake beard. “I’m sorry, Santa…I promise I’ll be a good girl from now on.”
Five’s hand moved a little higher up your thigh and he gave it a squeeze. “You better be. Or else Santa might have to spank you.”
“Oh, good lord,” Lila huffed out before grabbing the beer that Five left on the table and taking a swig.
“Aren’t you going to tell him what presents you want?” Grace asked as she busied herself with her new Play-Doh Fun Factory.
“Yes, tell me young lady, what can Santa bring you?” Five asked.
You adjusted yourself on his lap and leaned in so you could whisper near his ear. “I want Santa to stuff my stocking with his entire load later tonight.”
Five inhaled sharply, letting out a shocked cough. You giggled when he had to shift in his seat to avoid you rubbing too much against his junk. “Wow…ok…” he stammered before getting a grip again. “I think Santa can manage that.”
Making sure that Grace wasn’t looking, you pulled Five’s beard down, stretching the elastic past his chin as you gave him a sensual, opened mouthed kiss before letting it snap into place again. You heard Five let out a little groan under his breath, which made you smirk with satisfaction. Then you hopped off his lap, walking away with an extra bounce in your step as he stared hungrily after you.
After a few more minutes of Five chatting with Grace and making sure he ate one of her cookies and telling her how good it was, Lila checked the clock.
“I think it’s time for Santa to get going and then we can head to the parade!”
Grace jumped up. “Awww…can’t Santa come with us?”
“No, sorry kiddo,” Lila answered. “Santa has lots of other kids to visit tonight, remember?”
With a heavy sigh and a nod, Grace looked up at Five who you could tell was itching to get out of there and back home. “Thank you for my presents.”
Five smiled sweetly down at her. “You’re welcome, Gracie. Merry Christmas.”
Again, you got that warm feeling in your stomach watching how sweet he was being with his niece. Especially since you knew how much he hadn’t wanted to do this. He really was just a big softy inside. At least when it came to his family.
Grace turned to you again. “Will Santa come down your chimney later?”
You almost choked as you tried desperately not to make a comment or start laughing. You could see Five was trying to do the same, although he was looking gleefully over at you waiting for your response. Diego heard and shook his head, even though he was trying to hold back a laugh as well.
“I sure hope so,” you said with as much of a serious face as you could manage. “I’ll be up all night just waiting for Santa to come all the way down my chimney. Maybe more than once.”
Grace frowned. “He only comes once.”
“Oh really? Only once?” you asked with fake disappointment.
“Well, maybe Santa is tired or had too much to drink,” Five muttered under his breath and you bit the inside of your cheek to stifle your laugh.
“OK!” Diego yelled loudly, as he stepped into the middle of your wildly inappropriate conversation, shooting you and Five angry looks. “Time to get ready for the parade!”
As Lila was bundling up the twins and Diego was trying to wrestle Grace into her winter coat and boots, she pulled away from him to run back to Five. He saw her coming and crouched down to get at her level. His niece threw her little arms around his neck and hugged him tightly.
“I love you, Santa,” she said and her parents let out a loud “Awww”.
Then she leaned in closer to Five’s ear, but you could still hear her. “I know it’s you, Uncle Five.”
You put a hand over your mouth to try and hide your surprise while Five looked up to make sure Diego and Lila weren’t listening. He whispered back. “How did you know?”
Grace rolled her eyes. “Santa doesn’t blink, silly. Duh.”
Five laughed and nodded. “You are so smart. I should have known I couldn’t fool you.”
She giggled and then whispered conspiratorially to him again. “Don’t tell my mom and dad, though. They think you really are Santa.”
Biting back a laugh, Five nodded. “Good idea. I wouldn’t want to spoil it for them.”
Grace gave him one more hug before going back to her dad to finish getting ready. Five looked up at you and you both grinned at the cuteness overload that just happened.
“Alright, well, I have to go deliver gifts to all of the boys and girls in the world, which is entirely possible to do in one single night, so I’ll see you later,” Five said as he stood back up. “You two,” he said, pointing at Diego and Lila, “You should appreciate your older brother more. He has to put up with a lot from you assholes.” He looked over at you and gave you another wink. “And you. You better be a good girl. Santa’s always watching.” Then he was gone in another blue flash.
“Oh, shit, we have to go. Parking is going to be a nightmare,” Lila said as she checked her watch. She looked around the messy living room, noticing the Play-Doh that had already been smashed into the carpet. “Damn it, I don’t have time to clean up and everyone’s coming over tomorrow. We won’t be home until late, either.”
“I can do it,” you offered.
“Yeah?”
“Sure, no problem. You guys go, and I’ll clean up. I’ll lock up behind me when I leave.”
“Oh, you’re a lifesaver!” Lila gushed. Then she motioned for Diego and Grace to start moving out the front door, while she hoisted both twins up on either hip. “Let’s go, guys! There’s a spiked hot chocolate waiting with Mommy’s name on it.”
As soon as the happy family was in their car and pulling out of the driveway, you were startled when Five suddenly blinked inside the house, appearing directly next to you, and still wearing the full Santa suit.
“Shit!” you exclaimed, a hand on your heart. “You scared me!”
“Well, I was freezing my balls out there behind the house, waiting for them to leave.”
You laughed. “Sorry about your balls. If there was a fire, I’d say you could warm them up by the Yule log.” You paused, thinking with a frown. “What even is a Yule log, anyway? I never understood that.”
Five grinned evilly and yanked your body to him as you let out a shriek. “I got your Yule log right here, honey.”
“Five…” you giggled as he started covering you with small kisses while the cheap beard tickled your cheeks and neck. Then you put a hand on his chest as you shifted your body, sliding up against something hard at the front of his pants. “Whoa…you weren’t kidding.”
“Told you,” he smirked.
“I knew I was being flirty, but I didn’t think I got you that wound up.”
“Darling, everything you do gets me wound up. But you were doing much more than flirting, sitting there in my lap, in that dress, and saying those dirty things. You knew exactly what you were doing.”
You smiled coyly, reaching up to unhook the beard from around his ears and take it off. “I do like the Santa thing, I won’t lie. But I never did like men with facial hair.”
“Good thing you didn’t know me back when I was older.”
With a laugh you threw the beard on the floor and planted a big kiss on his mouth. “For anyone else, that would be such a weird sentence.”
Five pulled you in tighter, the hard bulge under the red pants digging hard into your hip. “What do you say we head home and I can take a crack at that chimney for you.”
You pressed your body against his, the crushed velvet soft as it brushed against your skin. You ran your hands down his arms and chest. “I’m not sure I can wait to get home. I don’t know what it is, but you are killing me in this.”
Five looked around. “Here? In my brother’s house?”
You shrugged and reached around to squeeze his butt. “Why not? They won’t be home for hours. They’ll never know.”
Five looked down at you with a wicked leer before blinking again, this time taking you with him, as he landed perfectly seated in one of the kitchen chairs and you sitting sideways on his lap again. “How about you finish telling Santa what you want?”
When you adjusted yourself to straddle his lap, your sweater dress pulled almost all of the way up to your waist. You ground your groin harder into his, while draping your arms over his shoulders. With his hands gripping your hips, you pushed your chest against him as you leaned in for a kiss. “I’m afraid I have been very, very naughty,” you purred while plucking the red and white hat off his head and throwing it behind you.
As Five looked down between you, he saw what you were referring to and moved his hand to your hair, intertwining his fingers in it, while letting out a low rumble from his throat. “No panties? Fuck, you are so bad.”
“Can I still be on the nice list?” you asked, blinking innocently.
“I think we can work something out.”
At that, you were attacking his mouth with your own, smothering him in deep, urgent kisses while his other hand roamed under your dress to your bare hip underneath. He stoked your smooth skin, moving down your thigh and back up again, as he returned every heated kiss with just as much fervor. You wanted him. You needed him. And you were totally going to fuck him in his silly, stupid Santa suit like your life depended on it.
“Five,” you gasped in between eager bites and licks at his lips, your hands resting on either side of his face while you devoured him. “I need your cock.”
“Shit…” he groaned, jerking you closer and making your bare pussy drag along the soft material of his pants. “You are filthy today.”
“Are you complaining?” you asked, dipping your head down to suck more kisses along his neck.
Five closed his eyes as he tipped his head back. “Not in the least.”
When Five moved his hand between your legs, stroking you with his long fingers like he knew you loved, you whimpered into the crook of his neck.
“Well, don’t stop now, naughty girl,” Five said quietly next to your ear while he sunk two fingers inside you and you rocked against his hand. “Keep talking.”
You lifted your head to look him in the eyes, the deep green of his irises gleaming with lust. Letting out little grunts while you rode his fingers, you clutched onto his shoulders.
“I want that big, hard cock of yours deep inside me. I want you to fill me all the way up with your hot cum. And I want you to do it now.”
“Damn it, you’re hot like this,” he breathed out, right before removing his fingers from you.
You couldn’t wait any longer, and you began hurriedly trying to get in his pants, but the stupid suit was complicated. Finally figuring it out, you undid the large black belt that went around his waist and tossed that to the side. Then you unbuttoned the big red coat, opening it wide to reveal the white undershirt he had on underneath and running your hands down his firm chest. With the bulk of that out of the way, your hands dropped to the front of his pants, fumbling with the button that kept them closed.
Five laughed when you made a frustrated growling noise. He reached down to help you out, finally getting them undone enough to get at what you wanted.
Shoving a hand inside his pants, Five paused and held your gaze with a slight smirk. “Santa’s got a big package for you, baby.”
You tried to keep a straight face, but you failed and started giggling while Five’s grin grew wider. Your laughter subsided, however, when he pulled out his generous package and rubbed it against your wet slit. With a loud moan, you thrust your hips to move back and forth over his hard shaft.
“Give it to me, Five,” you whined desperately.
“That’s no way to get back on the nice list, sweetheart,” he teased while gripping your hips and steadying you over him.
You let out an annoyed huff, but at this point you would do anything to have him fuck you. “Please, Five…”
“Five?” he asked with one eyebrow raised, just to be a jerk.
With a smile and a shake of your head, you played along. You’re the one that wanted to fuck him in a Santa suit, so you couldn’t be that surprised that he would make you work for it.
“Please, Santa,” you begged, burying your face into the side of his neck again, and brushing it softly with your lips. “I want you to shove that package inside my sleigh.” It was a pretty lame innuendo, but your brain was only half functioning at the moment.
You heard Five exhale a soft laugh and you smiled into his neck. Then he was lining himself up and letting you sink slowly onto his cock. With a muffled cry, you felt him penetrate you as deeply as possible.
“Oh fff-uuuck…” you groaned out, pulling back to look him in the face again.
With his dark eyebrows creased together and his mouth partly open as he concentrated on the amazing feeling of being inside of you, he managed to look even sexier. His hands grasped tightly to your hips as he started to move you over him.
When you looked into his eyes, your arms wrapped around his shoulders and your hands on the back of his neck, you were suddenly taken over by an intense wave of love for him. Flashes of your life together flooded your mind. He had been hard to crack open in the beginning, but he eventually opened himself up to you. From there, he had to learn how to navigate a real relationship, but you stuck with him through all of the ups and downs. Even now, a year after your marriage, there were challenges. Being married to Five wasn’t always easy, but loving him was.
You leaned in to kiss him, softly and tenderly, while your fingers wound lightly into the hair at the nape of his neck. His steady pace of thrusting your body over his cock started to slow as he reacted to your kiss. He gently traced one hand down your cheek.
“Five,” you said quietly as your mouths parted, and you rested your forehead against his. “All I really want for Christmas is to give you a family. I’m sorry I haven’t been able to.”
“Darling,” he responded with a small smile, rubbing a thumb over your lips. “You have nothing to be sorry about. You have made me the happiest man in the world, and nothing will change that. Kids or no kids.”
With that, you let him take control again, thrusting his cock up into you while sliding your hot core back and forth, his fingers digging into your sides. Your deep, ravenous kisses were only interrupted by sharp gasps and whines as you clutched onto the back of the chair and tried to match the rhythmic motion of his fucking.
When a particularly rough drive had you pulling away with a loud cry, you pressed your cheek to his, your breath labored as you continued to ride him. “Oh god…you’re so deep.”
“I know sweetheart, but can you give me any more?” he breathed next to your ear. “You feel so fucking good.”
You spread your legs further apart, pressing down as far as possible, forcing his dick deeper, until it felt like it was going to stab you in the stomach. Five grunted through a clenched jaw as he put all of his concentration into his calculated fucking.
“Oh shit…” you breathed out, tucking your face into the side of his neck again. “Put a baby in me, Five.”
“Fuck yes I’m going to put a baby in you. I….oh, fffuck…” Five groaned huskily as he emptied himself inside you.
Your body gave in at the same time, clenching and shuddering around him as he held you tightly to his chest, his hips bucking up sporadically. He panted against your shoulder, his mouth pressed hotly against you while he moaned quietly with each eruption of cum that coated your insides.
As you both tried to catch your breath, you stayed wrapped in his arms with your head resting on his chest. Neither of you made a move to get up, and Five caressed your hair while giving you soft kisses to your temple.
After a minute, you raised your head with a dreamy smile and kissed him, brushing a stray piece of hair off his forehead.
“Maybe it’ll be a Christmas miracle,” you said hopefully.
“Maybe so. But if not, that’s ok too. I have you and that’s more than enough.”
“I love you so much, Five.”
“I love you too, darling.”
*****************************************
A year later, on Christmas day, you were back at Diego and Lila’s house, which was loud and packed with the entire family. There was wrapping paper strewn all over the floor, empty glasses and plates piled up on every surface, and the smell of roast turkey still hung in the air. Everyone was happy, stuffed full of food, and partly drunk. It had been a great party, but you were ready to head home for the night. Looking around for Five, you spotted him across the room, talking with Luther.
“Sorry to interrupt, but I think we should head home. Someone needs to get to bed.”
When Five turned around, he pointed to the sleeping baby snuggled up against his chest. “Too late, she fell asleep listening to her Uncle Luther’s boring ass story.”
“Hey!” Luther said with a hurt puppy dog expression. “My story about moon rock classification was not boring.” He paused. “Wait…was it?”
You laughed and reached for your three month-old daughter, taking her from Five while she stirred and let out a big yawn before dozing off again. “Come here, Holly,” you said quietly, kissing the top of her little head. “Let’s go home.”
While Five packed up the eight million baby items you had brought with you, in addition to all of the gifts the family had heaped on her, you watched with a loving smile. Who would have predicted that one impulsive, oddly kinky, but very sexy screw on Christmas Eve just one year earlier would have led to this? You had your perfect family with Five. And that was all you ever wanted.
After everything was put in the car, Five blinked next to you, wearing a devious grin and a red Santa hat on his head.
“Look what I found in the back of the trunk,” he said, pointing to the hat. “Want to try and give Holly a little brother or sister?”
With a giggle, you shook your head. “Very tempting, but ask me sometime when I’m not so sleep deprived I can barely see straight.” You gave him a kiss, your hand resting on the side of his face. “You do look good in that, though.”
At that moment, Diego came wandering up with a smart-ass smile. He gave Five a hard clap on the back. “Look at you guys. I can’t believe my feral little brother is all domesticated now. I never would have thought.”
“I’m twenty eight years older than you, asshole,” Five reminded him with a frown.
Diego shrugged and crossed his arms over his chest. “Whatever. I’m still shocked as hell.” He turned to you with your little daughter in your arms, cocking his head to the side. “Are you sure Holly is really Five’s? She’s way too cute to be related to his grumpy ass.”
As Diego laughed at his own joke and you resisted your own, Five put an arm around you with that not-so-amused expression of his. “Ready to go, darling?” When you nodded, he turned back to his brother. Plopping the Santa hat onto Diego’s head, Five smirked. “By the way, Diego, your niece was conceived in that chair over there. And yes, I was still wearing the suit.”
As Diego stood staring dumbfounded, the gears in his head turning as he tried to piece together what Five was saying, it suddenly dawned on him and his mouth dropped open. “Wait…WHAT?”
“Merry Christmas,” Five said sweetly, right before blinking away; taking his new little family with him for the ride.

Merry Christmas, Baby
Tumblr media
Summary: Terry and Nyla work together to bring Patrice some Christmas cheer.
Pairing: Terry Richmond x Black!OC
Word Count: 2.2k
Warnings: Language
Previous: Back Up
Santa came down the chimney
Half past three, y'all
Left all them a good ol' present
For my baby and for me, ha, ha, ha
Terry bopped his head along to Otis Redding’s classic playing from some soul Christmas station he found on Spotify as he examined his handiwork with a mouth full of baby fingers and no idea what he was doing.
When he set off to decorate the house on Patrice’s behalf, he hadn’t considered all of the meticulous planning that went into her creating their personal Winter Wonderland. Ribbons needed careful tying to make beautiful bows. Garlands he thought could be tossed on any surface he chose required deliberate care to achieve their festive flare. And, to his surprise, Christmas trees out of the box did not come pre-fluffed.
He was so confident that he could start and finish his side project in his mother’s final hour of childcare that he didn’t change out of his office attire. The tightness of a half-buttoned polo and stiff slacks with a sleepy little girl cradled in the crook of his arm reminded him of just how wrong he was.
Clear bins labeled by function and location crowded their quaint living room with Patrice’s arrival coming quicker than he was prepared for. He squinted at the tree, trying to understand how he’d managed to put every single ornament on only the front while leaving the back side bare. The sensation of Nyla’s fingers tightening their grip on his bottom lip brought his attention from the eye sore he’d created to the four-month-old with her mother’s smile. He pretended to gnaw on her hands.
“What you looking at, girl, hm? You watching Daddy tear up Mommy’s tree?”
Sleepy baby giggles lit up her round face and dark eyes as her pacifier bobbed in her mouth, thoroughly entertained by her father’s voice and smile. He leaned down to kiss her forehead before smoothing a hand over her soft hair.
“Hopefully she likes it. Mama hasn’t been feeling like herself so we gotta bring the Christmas joy for her. What you think? Did I do a good job?” He adjusted Nyla in his arms to turn her toward the tree for her opinion. She squirmed in his grip, whining and fussing before releasing a small cry as the only way to communicate that she’d seen enough. He took the hint with a chuckle. “Oh-kay. You are Patrice’s child, I’ll tell you that.”
With Nyla providing lively company, Terry adjusted and re-adjusted earth-toned ornaments of all sizes in a failing attempt to salvage his surprise. She cooed along to Terry’s chatter about work, music, and life, offering commentary here and there like a child who’d been speaking for years.
He listened to her grunt and kick at the mention of watching football on Sunday and smiled. “Maybe me and you can go to a game together one day. Don’t get your hopes up for the Panthers being good though baby girl.”
Nyla laughed as if she understood Terry’s jokes, making him laugh in response. From the foyer, their back and forth sounded perfectly ridiculous to Patrice’s already scrambled mind. Motherhood had come with an unexpected price. Every day came with the overwhelming responsibility of balancing work and home life. Months away from her desk only to return during the end of semester swirl made reaclimating to eight hours away from home grueling. Her emotions were a jumbled mess that she traversed on a fraying tightrope. Exhaustion was her default setting these days. No matter how much her family assisted her, there were never enough hours in the day.
A sigh of relief rushed between parted lips as she pressed her back against the front door to seal her home from the frigid early evening wind. A single minute of tranquility couldn’t erase the day she’d had, but it came close. The rest needed the help of her two favorite people in the world.
The alarm’s chime stopped Nyla and Terry’s conversation, alerting them to their queen’s arrival.
“Petey! You’re home,” Terry exclaimed from the living room.
Patrice scoffed and rolled her eyes as she placed bags on the ground. “Don’t play with me, Terrence. I don’t wanna have to knock you out in front of your best friend.”
“I’m not worried about it. She got my back. Right, MiMi? You got Daddy’s back?” Patrice smiled at Nyla’s squeal in response, listening and watching it intensify as Terry appeared in the foyer.
His standing there, tall and thick with a baby carefully balanced in his arms and an incredible softness in his eyes, instantly awakened senses that had long taken the day off.
“How you doin’, beautiful?”
“I was exhausted until I saw you. You married or just out here fine for no reason?”
He chuckled at her shameless flirting and flashed his ring. “Happily married. She a little off in the head too, so be careful.”
“That was perfect. Make sure you say it just like that every time.”
Terry closed the gap between them, pressing quick kisses to her forehead and lips as he helped her shrug out of her coat with his free hand.
“Was your day okay,” he asked, a hand gripping her elbow to hold her steady while she kicked off her boots. She shrugged.
“I didn’t feel like crying by the end so that’s a step up, right?”
“Sure, but I don’t want sad at all. Is there anything I can do?”
Patrice attempted to answer Terry’s concern with a weak smile. “No, but I appreciate you lookin’ out for me. I’ll get better. For now, let's talk about this smiling girl instead. Come here, my sunshine!”
Nyla kicked her little feet and panted from excitement as she transitioned from one set of arms to the next. She worked overtime to ward off sleep for dueling kisses on both cheeks from doting parents elated to have their baby girl earth side.
Terry pulled away from family time to collect the heap of bags left by the door. “What’s all this?”
“Just me tryin’ to find some Christmas cheer. I figured we could bake some cookies with Ny before she goes to bed. Then we can have a drink, order in, and watch a movie or something? I don’t know. Tell me if that sounds stupid.”
Uncertainty was thick in her delivery. She hadn’t been sure of anything in the past four months. Herself, her parenting skills, being a good wife, her teaching - nothing. The need for validation was growing more dire by the day.
“We can do whatever you want, baby. I’ll dress up like Santa if you need me to.”
His affirmation came with a gentle kiss and a slight squeeze to her backside that made her giggle like a teenager in the presence of her crush. “Thank you, Pooh. You hear that, Naomi? Daddy’s gonna dress up like Santa and let Mommy sit on his lap.”
“That ain’t all Mommy can sit on but we have to wait until you’re asleep for that part.” His joke came with a suggestive eyebrow raise that incited a hearty guffaw and butterflies in Patrice’s belly. She leaned in to rest her forehead on his chest for as much touch as she could handle. He rested his chin atop her head to speak. “There’s a surprise for you in the living room if you’re up for it.”
“Does this surprise have something to do with my baby being drenched in all this glitter?”
“No. That’s courtesy of her grandma and her outfit earlier today. You know your mama loves sparkles.”
Patrice attempted to dust silver flecks from Nyla’s face to no avail. “Then lay it on me. I’m ready to be surprised. At least I think. I never know when you two get in cahoots.”
True enough. Terry and Nyla usually found a way to cause havoc, whether in the middle of the night with a dance party or throughout the day with a host of loud distractions. Terry couldn’t deny his propensity to look for trouble with his partner in crime, but he could convince Patrice that, this time, their mischief was something she’d enjoy.
Carefully, he pulled Nyla from Patrice’s arms and led her into the living room with strict instructions to keep her eyes covered until he gave her permission. Anticipation had Patrice nervously bouncing from foot to foot while she waited for the signal. Nothing in her immediate area gave away what she might see on the other side of an extended blink. There were no smells outside of something hearty with a hint of spice simmering nearby. The soft murmur of what sounded like Christmas music didn’t seem out of place. She attempted to feel for clues with one hand out in front but came up empty.
“Can I open my eyes now,” she asked for the third time.
Terry chuckled as he positioned her in the center of the room. “You’re so impatient, baby.”
“Now, don’t make me start on you. We just had our first wedding anniversary on our original wedding date but I’m impatient?”
“Yeah, yeah. Open your eyes before you go too far.”
All of Patrice’s smug laughter slowed to a halt as her eyes feasted on every detail in the room. Crooked garlands dusted in artificial snow adorned the fireplace. Gaps in the Christmas tree created portals to the blank wall behind it. Ornaments sat jumbled together with no rhyme or reason. The skirt meant to hide the unsightly plastic tree stand was comically flipped inside out. Her Christmas star, passed down from her mama’s mama sat glittering under soft white light, waiting to take its rightful place on top of her most eclectic tree to date.
Each imperfection made her heart swell ten times its size, creating a steady stream of tears that coated her cheeks.
She released a shaky breath, the sound betraying the emotions she attempted to keep at bay while she marveled at the tree with her back turned to her helpers. “Oh wow. You did all this for me?”
“When I told Ny how much you love Christmas she was like, ‘Dad, we should do something for Mommy since we love her so much.’ It was all her idea. I only opened my wallet. And put stuff together. And held her the whole time because she hates her mat.”
“Yeah,” she asked, laughing to release nerves and wiping at her face as she finally turned to face them. “You talk that much, little girl?”
“Oh, she’s a great conversationalist. Give her a little formula and she’ll yap all day.”
Patrice stepped closer to rub her nose across her daughter's cheek, inhaling the fresh baby scent that never failed to calm her often racing thoughts.
“This is…so sweet. It’s probably the nicest thing anyone’s ever done for me,” she started. “It’s been kinda tough to get excited this go round. I can’t really find that spark like before and I’m trying so hard.”
“I know. You’re doing a great job, Mama. A perfect job. I wouldn’t wanna be doing all this with anybody else,” Terry reassured while he pulled her into a hug.
She wrapped her arms around his waist, squeezing with all the love in her body when no words could get past the heavy lump in her throat. The leak in her emotional dam had erupted into a crater, turning small tears into a near sob that made her head hurt. She’d cried all of her sadness away in the dead of night or when sitting in traffic between work and home. This was happiness. An unmistakable joy and gratefulness for being blessed beyond her wildest imagination.
Terry didn’t intervene or coax her into deep breaths to stop her crying. Instead, he held her close with one arm and alternated loving pecks between her head and Nyla’s face as the infant rested on his shoulder for comfort. Her tiny hand reached out to leave little pats against Patrice’s forehead, finally making her giggle as her crying paused.
“You’re right. Mommy needs to get it together,” she laughed. “I’m killin’ the vibe big time.”
Terry chuckled. “MiMi cried when I showed her, too. Is this a happy cry or do you hate it?”
“I love it and I love y’all. So much. So, so much.”
“We love you more than we can put into words. You know, since one of us literally can’t talk.”
Patrice's belly laugh made Terry grin from ear to ear in triumph. His chief concern was bringing her happiness, even if only for a few hours. He’d take today as a win and try to top it for the rest of his life.
Wiping fresh tears from her eyes, she took a deep breath and received another whiff of the aroma wafting from the kitchen reminding her that she was starving from a day of educating the leaders of tomorrow. She hummed at the smell with her eyes closed. “Why didn’t you say you cooked? What is that? It smells good.”
“That is your other surprise. Think about it and tell me what you think it could be.”
Hints of cayenne and the spice of fresh jalapenos made her nose tingle. Something warm and sweet followed as the perfect accessory to the savoriness commanding attention. The smell felt familiar. It felt like her childhood. It felt like home.
Her eyes shot open and up to his in sudden realization. “Daddy’s chili! Really? Is that what that is?”
“I owe him some help in the shed but it’s worth it for you. Hope it brings back some magic for you.” Patrice stared at Terry, eyes misty and lips drooping in a deep frown that confused him. “Wait, what did I -”
“Oh my God, whyareyousoperfect!?”
All of her words came out in another muffled sob as she dramatically buried her face into his chest. He couldn’t help but tease her, whispering comments about her theatrics and how she could’ve been a movie star from her ability to burst into hysterics at the drop of a hat.
Drooping eyelids from their pride and joy forced them to share hushed laughter while Patrice regained enough of her composure to help add the finishing touches to their first Christmas display as a unit. Watching Patrice gently bounce Nyla to sleep while she adjusted ornaments and decor to her liking filled Terry with enough warm fuzzies to make him blink back emotions he didn’t know he had brewing.
He had a family.
For all the ups, downs, and haymakers life had thrown him, he had two people looking up at him like the sun rose and set in his eyes. The thought alone took him back to his first time in the same spot with a pecan pie and a carefully wrapped gift in his hands.
Terry slowly approached Patrice from behind to assist her in the effort to place the topper where it belonged. “Remember our first Christmas together?”
“The one when you stayed too long and had your mama worried,” she laughed. “Yeah, I remember. Now look at you. Still over here after all this time.”
“I always knew what and who I wanted.” His declaration came with silly, loud smooches to her exposed neck while they wiggled the star into place atop the tree.
Perfection. Patrice smiled at their joint effort and the feel of Terry holding her and Nyla close. She angled her head to watch him shower their little one in soft kisses.
“Hey,” she called to get his attention. “Merry Christmas, baby. Thank you. For everything.”
He met her thanks with a tender kiss and the gentle graze of his lips against hers, sharing a silent conversation between lovers that needed no explanation.
“Of course. Merry Christmas, honey.”

Christmas in Hell
a very hazbin christmas, full of joy, cheer and a party for the ages
Alastor x reader
Reader needs the perfect gift for Angel Dust but has to ask a certain someone for help. Just a little fluffy holiday special.
You would think after death the holidays wouldn't be very important. In hell, especially you would think since they're not big fans of the big guy in charge that they wouldn't celebrate a certain someone's birth. Well Charlie Morningstar was not going to let those facts ruin her super-duper fantastical holiday party.
Christmas Eve
Despite the lack of Christmas spirit Angel Dust was booked and busy letting Santa come down the chimney in a few special videos to be released the next day. Even though his stocking was being filled early you, as his best friend, were stressing over the perfect gift to get him.
Earlier in the week, Charlie has gathered everyone in the hotel to the main space where she had set up a giant tree that reached the ceiling. Charlie and her partner Vaggie, covered in pine needles and wearing lumberjack clothing, held Husk's hat full of folded slips of paper open for the circle.
"Hiiiii everyone! Hope you're all merry and ready for a fun group bonding exercise!" Charlie began.
She was met with loud groans and signs. "Shut up and listen to Charlie she put a lot of work into this," Vaggie huffed with rage.
"Thanks Vaggie. Anyways, I've set up a secret Santa for everyone to- HEAR ME OUT OKAY yes so you'll choose a name and then on Christmas we'll swap gifts and it will be so fun!" Charlie explained while passing the hat along and giggling and staring you down when she picked a piece of paper.
Since you had died quite young, your family hadn't make it to Hell yet or they made are in the place above, so you haven't celebrated since making your way to the after life, so this sounded like fun. But you couldn't resist a playful eye roll as you chose your paper reading Angel Dust to yourself.
Husk groaned while picking from his hat and then placing it on his head, "I thought through death I escaped obligatory in-law get togethers but now I have this shit."
Fast forward back to present day you were still stuck on what you could get him. Adult toys? No give him a break from work. Drugs? Not that you want to encourage that habit. Nifty had been no help when you asked. Muttering on about bad boys and cleaning. You didn't bother with asking Husk. Sir Pentious was still being coached on the whole secret Santa concept. Vaggie and Charlie had too many good ideas but none felt right for Angel Dust. This left you with only one option.
Knocking twice on the radio demon's door, your face twisted with instant regret and immediately started back down the hallway. "Leaving so soon? Now here I was thinking you saved the best for last." The gaze of his knowing smile burned the back of your head as you swiveled around.
"Sorry Alastor it was stupid idea I'll leave you to do... whatever you were doing."
"Nonsense my dear! Why I'd be happy to help my favorite guest with a gift for a certain effeminate fellow!"
"How did you-"
Alastor let out his practiced laugh, "Discretion is not one of your strengths (y/n)."
Your cheeks set alight hearing Alastor call you by your first name, no pet name or teasing nicknames. He held the door open and you avoided his gaze while leading inside. The great radio demon sauntered over to his large cherry wood desk inside his room and sat in a leather cushion maroon chair. Due to the lack of seating options, you hovered near the edge of his bed while le smiled and motioned for you to take a seat with a teasing glint in his eye.
Mustering up the courage to break the silence you asked, "I thought you didn't allow visitors inside your room."
Twiddling with his microphone cane Alastor responded, "I can make exceptions."
"I don't have any VoxTek on me by the way. Just in case you wondered."
A sound came from him, almost like a real giggle but you must of been mistaken. "I know (y/n)."
"Well since you seem to know everything what would be the perfect gift for Angel Dust that will show I'm a wonderful friend?"
"I can only give you hints, would spoil the game if I told you."
You groaned and fell back against the bed. Of course coming to Alastor was a mistake. As if an overlord would want to help silly you buy a silly gift for a silly holiday.
"Cheer up dearie! You're closer to the answer then you might think."
Eyebrows furrowed and dread he might make a fool of you, you asked him for the first hint.
"Something to do with your weekly film Friday events perhaps?"
"It's actually called freaky Friday because of our shared love of movies from the noughties." You said with a cheeky grin. "Angel also loves a dirty joke whenever it's possible to have one."
"Ah yes you, the spider ,and the swine all cuddled together in your matching pajamas on the settee watching princess makeovers and assistant makeovers and-"
"Hey it's more than just makeovers!" However, the comment gave you an idea, "Oh my god what if I get him a Fat Nuggets blanket?"
A round of applause played while Alastor called out "Ding ding! We have a winner!"
Letting out a sheepish smile and thank you, you rose from the bed ready to search for a way to get this made by the end of the day. Then a perfectly wrapped gift appeared in front of your face and dropped into your hands. Your head whipped in the direction of the smiling demon across the room.
"Is this what I think it is? How did you have it already?"
"I know you."
With a flushed face and full arms you made your way out of the room and through the doorway. Only halfway through the walk to your bedroom did you realize Alastor knew of your movie nights and took note of the matching pajamas. The radio demon noticed you.
Christmas Day
A giant fire roared in the hearth as bells rung and music played around the hotel. Excitement filled the air as the originally dismissive group exchanged gifts to each other. You and Angel Dust hung together watching the others until you announced you had something for him.
"Aw (y/n) you're my secret Santa?"
You snatched the Santa hat off Angel Dust's head in embarassment and placed it on your own as you laughed, "Had to get something for my ho ho hoe."
After a fit of giggles said spider unwrapped his gift and his eyes lit up, "If you had a dick I'd suck it so hard right now thank you doll."
Christmas was a success and you could finally breathe a sigh of relief and a laugh at your best friend's words as he snuggled himself within the blanket along with its muse in his lap.
Charlie rose up to give her gift as you prepared yourself with being thankful and happy no matter what she gave you. Until she turned to Nifty with a gift that turned out to be a new dress for her. Filled with confusion you swore to Angel that you thought Charlie got you due to her obviousness. Then the young Morningstar turned again to look above you and smiled so brightly.
Both yours and Angel Dust moved to see what she was smiling at behind you only to be face to face, or well chest, of the radio demon. Grinning down at you with his hands behind his back he laughed and said, "Happy Christmas from your secret Santa."
"What? I thought for sure it was Charlie."
"We struck a sort of deal," Alastor explained while behind your back Charlie gave a thumbs up as the rest of the crew stopped to watch.
The gift was handed to you as you carefully unwrapped it, conscious of all the eyes currently on you or rather what a scary overlord has given you as a gift. Inside was a beautifully crafted music box with carvings of your favorite flowers and sculptures of little deer in a meadow. You opened the box and your ears are met with an instrumental version of your favorite song.
"How did you-"
"Like I said I know you (y/n)."
Suddenly Charlie's voice bellowed, "Look who's under the mistletoe!" As if you couldn't be any more red from this interaction you now looked up to see that very mistletoe above you and Alastor. Your facial expression fell realizing this was going to be so awkward, being rejected in front of everyone despite it not being caused by you. Full of thoughts on how to escape or come up with a nonchalant response to not even being wanted for one measly peck and planning when you'll disappear to nurse your ego, you were distracted from the real world. That was until a pair of lips met your own in a soft yet hungry kiss. The moment felt like eternity yet also a millisecond at the same time. Before you could return the kiss, the deer demon pulled back and with a wink, walked away.
Shocked faces and silence filled the room as no one expected Alastor's actions. Lightly touching your lips, you thought maybe Christmas in Hell isn't so bad.

Modern! HOTD men holiday headcanons.
Aegon Targaryen:
Tumblr media
- 100% dresses as the Grinch at the family holiday dinner. He's also the type to go over the top about it, running in and snatching the tree and startling the kids, knocking Aemond over in the process (in character ofc), and running out of the house. Don't let him fool you he loves doing it for the kids and family
-He hates the cold thought. It never fails he'll try to convince you to ditch the cold weather for a more tropical destination. Whether you take it or not is up to you ofc. But don't be surprised if you stay and have to listen to him whine about his "cocks shriveled up inside him from how cold it is."
- insists on awkward xmas photos so he can send them to literally everyone he knows for a christmas card. i'm talking the matching sweaters as well of course.
- As much as he'll pretend he doesn't enjoy it, he loves holiday shopping. He'll help you pick presents, decor, outfits, whatever you need. And of course he's paying for all of it. Even the holiday dates. He loves spending them with you too.
-Puts a bow on the crotch of his pants for you on xmas morning with the cheekiest grin. Also owns mistletoe boxers and won't hesitate to wear them randomly around the house, insisting on the mistletoe tradition.
-Spoils the shit out of you. Every xmas it never fails that he has some extravagant gift for you. A car, a puppy, jewelry. After all the Targaryens are the richest family in the world practically.
- Insist on letting you decorate your shared home however you want, and he'll only mildly complain when you ask him to help you hang lights or put up a tree together (he likes the way you focus hard on decorating, it's beyond cute to him)
- Drunk sleds (ask him how many bones he's broke doing this). He never learns ever of course but as soon as someone even mentions snow fall enough to sled, he's busting out the whiskey and putting on layers. As much as he hates the cold ironically, he loves drunk sledding above all.
- Insistent on matching pjs. He also picks out xmas themed lingerie for you every year for christmas eve night.
-Hella xmas innuendos and dirty pick up lines. "Come sit on Santa's lap and tell him what you want for xmas"
"Have you been a good girl this xmas?"
"I have a present in my sack for you, shall i bring it down your chimney?"
the whole bit.
Aemond Targaryen:
Tumblr media
- Somehow manages to get roped into dressing as Santa's elf at the holiday dinner, and once the company holiday party. He is never happy to do it and yet he always does it anyway.
- Super over competitive for the christmas cookie decorating. And no one wants to be on his team for any holiday games either. He's left the party early before after losing to Aegon once. He doesn't like to talk about it.
- Plans several holiday dates for you both. He's secretly a romantic ofc so he's taking you anywhere and everywhere. Taking you to light displays, tree farms, hot cocoa bars, carriage rides. So long as you allow him, and he's more than happy to spoil his sweet girl.
-Santa Baby is his favorite song...for obvious reasons. One time you gave him a xmas lap dance to that song so now it's like Pavlovian. Always whisking you away every time it comes on as he bends you over the coffee table in front of the tree.
-Makes sure you get whatever you want for xmas, himself despite hating the holiday rush of those around him. Grumbling about the whole thing to himself while he wraps your presents away from you. It's always worth it when you see whatever he gets you.
-Actually likes holiday movies. Even despite some of the cheesy ones. Always finding time to watch them with you. He'll never tell you that his favorite xmas movie is also Elf.
- May complain about matching xmas attire but the minute anyone says anything even remotely negative he's prepared to deck the halls.
- Has for sure pelted a million snowballs at Aegon once for mentioning how cheesy his pj pants were one xmas morning until Aegon surrendered. (because they both have a snowball fight every year. that's a head canon on itself)
-Secretly the best xmas present giver. You're always pleasantly surprised at how he managed to get the right thing every time. He takes pride in spending the year listening to every little comment about how you would like to get this or that or pick up that latest new book at the bookshop. He remembers it all and had it for you under the tree on xmas morning.
-Xmas cookie making with Aemond, usually ends up a with you being eaten out on the kitchen island, or with you bent over the counter while he fucks you hard from behind. Telling you what a good girl you've been for him all year. ingredients from baking are smeared everywhere...anyway.
Jacaerys Velayron:
Tumblr media
- Always dresses as Rudolph for the holiday parties. Letting you paint his nose red as he excitedly talks about all the presents he picked out to pass out on the kids with Santa (Cregan), the elf (Aemond).
- Literally turns into Buddy the the Elf around the holidays. He loves the holidays and will do anything to make the most of each one and make it memorable.
-Starts decorating your place November 1st, laying out your xmas pjs to decorate in. He's got no shortage of Holiday spirit as you two go pick out your live tree (a fake tree is blasphemy to him). Watching all the gushy holiday movies with you (Last Christmas is his favorite btw)
- Insists on keeping your xmas presents a secret. He'll get super upset if something get spoiled so you do your best to stay out of the place he thinks is hidden.
-But he always has to call his mom for help or send them to her to be wrapped because he still doesn't know how.
- He loves to fuck you under the the glow of the tree lights at the end of most nights. He tells you you look like an angel the way you shine under them
-Loves to take you to any and all light displays. using it as an excuse to go on walks with you (weather permitting ofc). Gushing to you excitedly about how excited he is to see you open his presents he's gotten you. Talking about your day before conveniently stopping you both under mistletoe
- 100% A sentimental gift giver. He always manages to find the sweetest little gifts, it's his favorite part of xmas is trying to find the perfect gift because this will be the gift that he picks out himself he just wants you to like it (you always do)
-Has a tradition with you on who can build the better snowman, he takes it very seriously and totally drags his family into voting for who has the best one. Except he pouts when he loses.
- Hes actually good at ice skating (he's only injured himself one time with you) and he likes to take out out for cocoa after and tease you about how many times you fell
Cregan Stark:
Tumblr media
-Always gets volunteered to be Santa at the function. He's a big guy, and he's willing to do it for the kids so why not? Always referring to you as his Mrs. Clause, Letting you color his hair gray with hairspray and what not. Even his stubble grows in the winter
-Obviously big into the winter. Always making sure you're staying warm and bundled up. Never lets you leave the house without a coat even.
-Obsessed with hot chocolate and cookies. Always making sure the house is fully stocked for you both as well. Making sure the fireplace is going as well.
-Is clueless when it comes to buying gifts. Allowing you to get whatever you want with and slapping his name on it. He's not got any shame in it either. Always joking he's yet to disappoint you in gift giving.
-Gains a little weight each holiday season because he's obsessed with cookies and sweet treats. Not to mention the way he devours Xmas ham or turkey.
- He's a pro at ice skating. So i firmly believe he loves ice skating dates. Whether this is at a rink or a very safe lake to skate on. And if you don't know it's a bonus, because then he can just teach you (and hold you at the same time) so it's like a win for everyone.
-His preferred way of keeping his head warm in the winter is your thighs. Spending evening curled up between your thighs, intimately or not. When he's eating you out after being out in the cold for too long. Insisting he's warming his face up the best way but burying his face in your cunt.
- Always makes sure your car is warmed up for you and have a warm drink before you go anywhere.
-Always chops down a real tree for your house. Insisting on carrying it inside the house and helping you decorate it. He gets very into it so long as you do also. Wearing matching pjs or sweaters while you do (on his insistence i might add)
Daemon Targaryen:
Tumblr media
- Is quite literally the Grinch irl. He's not the biggest fan of the holidays at all actually. One year he got asked to be the Santa at the function and he ended up making a child cry. He was never asked to to it again, or dressing up of any form after that.
-Always grumbles at everything the whole season. From gift buying or giving, to attending any event. But not if it's you asking him. Then he's fine to go to some xmas tree lot on a Saturday morning with only mild complaining.
-Much prefers to be inside, but never turns down a chance at snowy warfare. Especially against his kids or nephews. Then he's not stopping until everyone's surrendered. It's a bigger deal than it needs to be always.
-Prefers to spend the cold nights in bed with you. Naked of course. His favorite is cuddling naked with you, while watching the snow just outside your window fall silently onto the ground.
-Has a holidays tradition of watching classic holidays with you of course. He'll wear the matching pjs but only when it's just you two (or children if you decide to have them) and drinking hot chocolate (his has a little liquor in it it never fails). But as bah humbug as he is he loves the joy on your face of it all.
-After awhile he begins to warm up to the holidays. As as much as the family makes fun of him saying that the Grinch's heart grew three sizes bigger after meeting you, he'll never outwardly admit it. Often randomly decorating the house with lights saying he saw them on sale or some bullshit.
- I think he would love taking you to the Nutcracker every year. There's just something about it to him. He makes a whole day of it, taking you to a luxury restaurant after shopping, and taking you to the ballet. idk.
- He makes the best xmas breakfast/ dinner i'm convinced. Cinnamon rolls, biscuits and gravy, bacon, whatever it is, he's putting his whole back into that morning meal and wears nothing but a proud smirk when you tell him how delicious it is.
-Pulls out no stops to spoil the fuck out of you. Handing you his black amex card and telling you to go crazy and buy whatever you want for xmas.

Tumblr media
"You didn't see anything at all ma'am, any flickering lights?" You asked the scared women "what would flickering lights have to do with my missing husband?!" Mrs Walsh asked frustrated "what we mean Mrs Walsh is that any detail you can recall even something as small as the lights flickering or even a strange  or unsettling smell could help us find out What exactly happened to your husband" dean swooped in behind you
Mrs Walsh sighed sadly as she tried to go over the night "I'm sorry I don't remember anything other than my husband being dragged from bed, whoever took him knocked me out- I just I don't know what I'm gonna tell my kids I mean come on Christmas is right around the corner and they have to spend it without their dad?" She cried as her sobs shook her body
You pulled her to the side slightly to calm her "Mrs Walsh I assure you that we'll do everything we can to find out what happened to your husband, I'm so sorry this happened to you and your family" you said handing the weeping women a tissue "thank you agent page" she smiled and headed back into her home.
"Alright so doesn't seem like it was a demon, you guys have any ideas?" You asked the boys on the way to the motel "I'm not sure but I found a tooth  in the chimney so it seems that's where Mr Walsh was taken out from,  I'll start researching when we get back" Sam replied
The car ride was filled with a comfortable silence as you took in the scenery of Michigan in December, all the decorations surrounding the town of Ypsilanti.
"Alright I've looked through everything and I keep coming back to same idea" sam said "great what have you got?" You asked sitting next to him on the dingy couch "it's gonna sound crazy but-" Sam was cut off by deans loud laugh "Sammy, what do you think you could possibly say that would sound crazy to us?" You chuckled as Sam sighed a smile curling on his lips "alright… Evil Santa"
"...alright ya got me, that's crazy" dean crossed his arms across his chest as he leaned against the wall "i don't know Dean, we hunt some crazy shit" you said turning to look at the older Winchester, he smirked moving toward the couch, taking a seat next to you and pulling you into him "I guess your right sweetheart, alright Sammy tell me what your thinking"
You laid your head to rest on your boyfriends hard chest as you listened to Sam ramble on about his theory of krampus, Dean ran his rough hands up and down your side and pulled you closer so you were sat on his lap rather than the two small for you and two oversized Winchester men
You felt yourself gently drifting off to the sound of deans heartbeat and the distant sound of his gruff voice "well I'm just saying what the lore says..." Sam defended as dean shut down the idea of evil Santa "dude Santa doesn't have a brother... there is no Santa" he said his hand coming to rest on the top of your hip, his thumb rubbing small circles on the warm exposed skin of your hip
"I seen a little Santa village on the way here, it's not that far why don't we go and scope it out" you sleepily suggest "good idea let's head out" Sam said moving to get up you sighed out a huff as you pulled from the warm embrace of your boyfriend, Dean wrapped his arm around your shoulders as you headed to baby "your in the back Sammy" he said as the younger Winchester went to open the passenger door, Sam sighed as you giggled jumping in and moving to sit next to dean as he pulled you close to his side, the comforting smell of pine and gunfire engulfed you immediately as the impala purred to life.
You and the boys walked through a very.. . Questionable looking Santa's village "this place sucks I thought it would have been more fun looking based on the town's decorations" you said as you looked around the crappy 'north pole' "yeah kinda makes the 'anti-Claus' theory sound more realistic doesn't it" Sam replied
Dean clapped his hands together happily as turned to you and his brother "hey speaking of Christmas, we should have one this year" he said and you felt your body go rigged, you've been with  Dean for over 2 years and not once in those two years did he express a want to celebrate the holiday other than a few small gifts. You knew he wanted to do this because it would be his last Christmas he gets to spend you and Sam and it's tearing you apart knowing each day gets closer and closer to the end of deans year
Swallowing hard as you felt your throat grow extremely dry, before you can say anything Sam's scoffing "yeah no I'm good" Sam says and Dean continues to push "oh come on, we'll even get a little tree for the room and we can decorate it and then we can get a nice take out for dinner" "honestly I'm not really up for it either Dean" you confessed, finally gaining your voice back
He looks at you a slight gleam of hurt on his face flashes "come on baby, it'll be fun, we can even watch home alone, I know how much you love that movie" dean said his eyes practically begging you to say yes, you give him a forced smile as you knew you had to cave, you wanted to remember these things with a happy memory with dean, even if right now your heart was breaking into a thousand pieces  "see Sammy, Y/N's in its two against one" Dean said as he wrapped his arm tightly around your waist, Sam turned his head toward you both and with a shrug of his broad shoulders "you guys do what you want I'm not doing it" he said and stalked away, "what a grinch" Dean whispered in your ear.
"You would think with how expensive this crap was to get in they'd have put on a better show" dean grumbled out as you all seen the disappointment on the kids in lines faces "I know... almost feels like our Santa here really is the anti Santa" you told him and dean nodded while Sam seemed to be in a daze.
It was a few hours later and you and the boys were in the impala outside 'Santa's trailer waiting for him to make his move. You sat in the front next to Dean as Sam was fast asleep in the back, you'd hardly said a word to him as you stared out the window, head leaning against the cool glass as you felt his green eyes burning holes on the side of your head "everything okay?" Dean asked his voice low as to not alert his sleeping brother
"Yeah I'm fine, just thinking..." you replied not looking at him "what are you thinking about sweetheart?" He asked gently grabbing your hand small hand in his much bigger one "just stuff, nothing to worry about honey" you told him leaning forward to give his plump lips a quick kiss in hopes to ease his worry, Dean would let it go for now but he was still worried about how different you were acting.
You started to drift off once again that day until you were startled by Sam's loud yawn " hey what time is it?" He asked stretching his longs limbs "it's one in the morning, haven't seen anything suspicious yet" dean replied his eyes fixated on the trailer door, just as he finished his sentence the 'Santa' was at the window looking around the quiet parking lot before shutting his curtains in a rush "alright it's show time!" you said jumping out of the car
Dean ran to get to the trailer door infront of you always wanting to protect you from the darkness of the job in whatever way he can, Dean kicks the door open and the three of you have your guns drawn and aimed at the santa
"...roast my chestnut, egg my nogg"
The tv played on in the backround as the 'Santa jumped to his feet his bong hitting couch in his hurry
You and the boys shared looks of shock before rushing to hide your guns "Silent night..." dean started off awkwardly and you and Sam quickly joined in "holy night, all is dry..." you grabbed both boys by their jackets and pushed them to the door before rushing into the car, Dean taking off quickly from the embarrassing situation.
The next morning you woke to deans arm being wrapped tightly around your waist as your head lay on his chest, your leg thrown over his hips, you tried to pull away gently as to not wake him, your small movements proved enough to wake the sleeping hunter as he gently opened his green eyes "where you going sweetheart?" He asked his voice deep and raspy from just waking up  "I'm starving so I was gonna go get us some breakfast and coffee" he hummed and pulled you back down to him "ten more minutes then we'll go" dean said kissing the top of your head
"Guys come on we gotta go there's been another attack" Sam announced as he came back into the room, Dean sighed dramatically "I'm going to end the son of a bitch for messing with my sleep" dean threatened making you giggle "alright let's get going we'll stop for something quick then go talk to the vics" you said leaning down to give your boyfriend a quick kiss to the lips before rushing to get dressed.
You sat in the back of the impala drinking your coffee as Dean drove to the Caldwells, you couldn't help but feel your heart sink deeper with each passing day as you stared at your boyfriend through the rear view mirror, Dean was already catching your eyes sending a worried smile your way at the look of your tear filled eyes that you refused to let fall, he raised his brows as to silently ask if you were okay and you nodded quickly changing your gaze to the window as the blur of Christmas decorations blurred with deans speed.
" so ma'am your son explained to you that he saw Santa take his dad up the chimney?" You questioned the sorrow filled women, she nodded holding her arms close to her body in defence motion "that’s what he told me, yes" she replied
"And where we're you Mrs Caldwell?" Dean asked and the women gave him a strange look of confusion "I was asleep and then all of a sudden I was being dragged from my bed and then i was knocked out, It just happened so fast" she cried
You placed your hand on her arm and smiled in understanding "I understand how hard this must be Mrs Caldwell, I could never imagine the pain and confusion your feeling right now, do you need to take a little break from the questions?" You asked her and she shook her head "no I'm alright thank you detective, I just want this to all be over with so my husband is found and brought home safely to us" she smiled sadly
"Did you happen to see anything of the attacker, maybe hair colour,  height, anything strange?" Dean asked and she shook her head instantly "no I didn't see anything it was so dark and it was just a blur"
Sam looked around as you and Dean continued to talk to her "yeah so Mrs Caldwell, do you remember where you got that wreath?" Sam asked and the women grew angry as you and Dean sent him looks of question "excuse me!" She demanded "it's just its very pretty" sam stuttered out "I don't give a rats behind about that wreath, I care about my missing husband so if we can stop with the questions and we can get on with finding him so my kids don't have to spend Christmas without their father, that would be greatly appreciated detective!" Sam nodded  "of course mrs Caldwell"
"Of all the things to ask a grieving wife and mother, you ask about her Christmas wreath?please tell me you have a good theory that will make me forget how horrible that experience was" You asked Sam as you walked towards baby "think about it, that's not the first time we've seen that wreath here" Sam replied, "where?" Dean asked Sam intrigued "the Walshes!" You said quickly and Sam nodded "I don't think that's a coincidence considering the similarities".
Once you got back to the motel Sam quickly got on the phone with Bobby, "hey can we talk?" Dean asked grabbing your hand, you nodded and let him lead you to outside "is everything okay, since we got here you've been a little off, just like you're  shutting down" dean asked his eyes full of concern, you sighed and looked at the ground "I'm okay I'm just tired and can't wait to get this case over with" you lied but your lie detector of a boyfriend didn't buy it for a second "Y/N come on I wasn't born yesterday-" "no but your gonna be dead in a few months, then what?" You cut him off, feeling the lump in your chest grow bigger as your eyes stung with tears
"Sweetheart I know your upset, believe me if there was any other way to bring Sammy back I would have done it, I love you more than anything and I promise I won't stop looking for a way out of this stupid deal" dean told you wiping the small tear that escaped down your check "it's just so hard knowing our time with you is limited, this is gonna be our last Christmas we can spend together, I just I- I don't know what I'm gonna do without you" you said fully breaking down at this point
Dean pulled you tightly to his chest, hugging you as you cried "I know it sucks baby, I know we never really did anything for Christmas before that's why I wanted to make this a good one so it could be thought back on as a happy memory of us three together" dean confessed as his own voice broke slightly "if I can't get out of this deal, I need you to promise me something... I want you to get out of this life, I want you to move on find someone that makes you happy, I want you to get married and have kids, I want you to have the apple pie life sweetheart because you deserve to be happy" dean said and you pulled back from his tight embrace to look at him, seeing he had a few tears of his own running down his checks
"Dean I can't, I could never be happy with any one other than you, you're the love of my life" you told him, he gave you sad smile "your the love of my life too sweetheart which is why I need to know your gonna be okay if I'm gone, please just promise me this... please" he begged, you nodded knowing you would never follow through, you would never love any one after Dean "I promise".
Dean and you stayed in that position for a while longer while you calmed yourselves before facing Sam "you ready?" Dean asked kissing your forehead, "yeah" you said your eyes feeling puffy and your voice sounding hoarse "I got Bobby, I was right he’s heard of it before, he said it's likely meadowsweet in the wreaths" Sam said looking up from his laptop, "what's wrong?" Sam asked when he seen your sad face "nothing Sammy it'll be alright" you told him, he turned his gaze to dean who's eyes remained on you "alright we'll talk about this later then.." Sam trailed off
"So what's Bobby saying" you asked taking a seat on the couch  trying to get the focus of you "well other than calling us all morons, he told me the meadowsweet was used in pagan lore, mostly in their rituals" you and Dean shared a confused look "pagan lore, and what kind of rituals?" Dean asked taking his seat next to you
"Well based on the research, meadowsweet was used like bait for their human sacrifices and the pagan gods would come basically chow down on the closest human" Sam said and your face twisted in disgust "Jesus what are we dealing with here" you said in disbelief "yeah it's pretty nasty stuff, when these family's have been putting the wreaths up it's basically an invitation for them to be killed and eaten" Sam told you "alright so how to do we stop it" dean asked his own face showing discomfort
"I don't know" Sam told him and Deans eyes widen "Bobby working on a way to figure it out, until then, we're gonna find it" Sam said and you both nodded "alright our first step is to find out who's selling the wreaths... do you think they know what what they're selling?" You said  both boys shrugging their shoulders "I have no idea, I hope not" Dean said, Sam exhales loudly before clapping his hands "well let's go find out"
Once you were in the parking lot Dean was wrapping his arm around your shoulders tucking you tightly into his side and throwing Sam baby's keys "your driving" Sam tilted his head in confusion before giving Dean a hard look "you are not making me drive so you two can make out in the back seat again!" Sam said quickly, Dean huffed "we're not gonna make out..." he trailed off looking at you shaking your head no "alright we're definitely not gonna make out while you drive...again" dean promised with a laugh before pulling you into the back seat with him and bringing you back to his side "step on it Sammy, we've got a monster to find" dean announced before the impala roared to life and Sam was tearing down the street.
"Alright this place sells Christmas decorations let's try in here" you told the boys and walked in taking a look around "hi, can I help you folks?" the man at the counter asked "yeah I hope so, we were at the Walshes the other night for couples game night, and I couldn't keep my eyes off their Christmas wreath, it was beautiful and we were really hoping we could get one before Christmas, right honey?" You said a fake smile plastered on your face as you looked to dean "yeah that's right sweetheart, any chance you've got any of them left" dean continued your lie
The man looked confused "I'm sorry I see a lot of wreaths every day, could you be more specific?" You nodded "yeah, it was the most beautiful wreath, it had these green leaves and they had little white buds all over it" the man looked taken back "well aren't you a fussy one" the man said sarcastically , Dean gave the man a hard stare and went to tell him off before you cut him off "yeah I can be, just want the perfect wreath for our first christmas together in our new home" the man nodded and sighed "well it just so happens I know what wreath your talking about, they flew off my shelves in one day, every one loved them so I'm all out actually" sam gave the man a questioning look "the meadowsweet is actually pretty expensive why would you make wreaths out of it?" The man shrugged his shoulders "not a clue, I didn't make em" the man said in his gruff voice "oh really? Who did make them?" You asked him
The man turned to face you " it was Madge Carrigan, nice local lady, she told me these wreaths were so darn a special she was giving them to me, no charge" Dean chuckled knowingly "did you sell them for free too?" The man had a shocked look on his face "hell no, it's Christmas, people would spend money on damn near anything for any price if you slap Christmas in front of it!" The man said loudly looking at dean like he had three heads "that's the Christmas spirit, thanks for your time" you said grabbing Deans hand leading him toward the exit.
Later that night at the motel Dean and Sam were cleaning their  guns while you were in the shower "so what was going on earlier, you guys seemed pretty upset" Sam asked and Dean sighed "it's nothing Sammy we just had a little talk everything's fine" dean told him not wanting to talk about it "Dean come on man, you can talk to me, I'm your brother you don't have to hide anything from me" Sam said wanting Dean to talk "look Y/N was just upset about how much time I have left and when I kept pushing the Christmas thing it just made her feel worse so can we just not talk about it around her" dean said noting the sound of the shower turning off "yeah got it i won't mention it again" Sam said sadly, "alright, you boys ready" you asked coming out of the bathroom a little while later, both boys nodded.
"Alright I think this is the house" sam said "wow can't you just feel the evil" dean joked as he took in the many decorations surrounding the house, you and Sam rolled your eyes as you knocked on the door, a few seconds later a very jolly women opened the door "can I help you?" She asked "please tell me your Madge Carrigan? The genius who made the meadowsweet wreaths?" Dean asked, the women grew a big smile " why yes, that was me, they were most beautiful wreaths weren't they?" She said excitement oozing out of her "they were just beautiful, this one right here seen one the other day, and just hasn’t  stopped talking about it, ain't that right Sammy" Dean said pointing to his giant brother "... oh yeah, totally we were in the store the other day and seen them and they sold out just before we could get our hands on one" Sam told her feigning disappointment
The women grew a sad look "oh fudge, that's horrible they are just the most sweet smelling wreaths!" She said you nodded your head "they were, we were so disappointed we couldn't get one ourselves, say, you wouldn't have any spares we could buy?" You asked and she kept her sad expression "oh I'm sorry dear, those were the only ones I had for this season, gosh I wish I could give you one!" She said and you held back a snarky 'yeah so you could eat us right up' remark "Mrs Carrigan. may I ask why did you choose to use meadowsweet in your wreaths?" You asked and a man came down in a cheerful sweater with an old fashioned pipe between his lips as she answered "why the smell of course, it's it just the sweetest smell dear?" She asked her husband
"Oh it is! You haven't smelt anything sweeter than those Christmas wreaths!" The man said with a loud chuckle "definitely not sir" you faked a laugh with them "say would any of you folk care for some peanut brittle?" The man asked handing  the tub of candy out, you saw deans hand reaching for and quickly slapped it away "oh no thanks we're just on our way to dinner, don't want to ruin our appetites, anyway thank you for your time Mr and Mrs Carrigan, hopefully we snag a wreath next year" you say pulling both boys away "oh you will I save one specially for alll of you" Mrs Carrigan laughed as they closed the door, "well that was... disturbing" you said and both boys agreed before Sam was driving back to the motel.
Dean and you were sat on the motel bed sharpening wooden stakes to take out the evil pagans "you find anything yet sweetie?" You asked tossing and other finished stake to your pile before staring another "yeah, so get this, turns out Mr and Mrs jolly lived in Seattle last year, and right around Christmas time, there was a few abductions that took place, sounds identical to what's happening right now. And Bobby's sure that the evergreen stakes will kill them?" Sam asked  before shutting his laptop down, "Oh he's sure, so get helping big guy" dean said throwing Sam a stake to carve.
It was nine o clock when you the boys were breaking into the empty house "hey look, the furniture still has the wrapping over it, they're obviously planning on ditching town as soon as possible" you said pointing your flashlight at the couch "that's creepy as hell" Dean said as you all made your way to the kitchen "hey guys over here!" Sam whispered loudly, you both went back over to find an unlocked door "must be the basement, let's check it out boys" you told them both as Sam lead the way down the basement, Dean walking behind you, both boys always being protective no matter what
"Oh my god that's disgusting" you said your flashlight pointed to 'santas sack' full of bones and body parts, the bag dripping blood "this places looks more like a butcher's than a freaking basement!" Dean as you took in the sight of blood and bones across the room, "I think there's someone in there!" Sam said worried as he saw the other sack moving, you all rushed to open it but you were grabbed from behind you screamed as the attacker lifted you off your feet
"Y/N!" Dean yelled and rushed toward you Sam close behind his stake at the ready, you were slammed against the wall, Mrs Carrigan’s crazy  eyes meeting ours "it's very rude to break into people's home now isn't it" she sneered her hand tightening it's grip around your throat cutting off the air from your lungs blurring your vision “get your hands off her or I swear I'll blow your fucking brains out!" dean yelled his gun pointed at the women, Sam moving to sneak behind her with his stake raised before he was whacked in the back of the head, Mr Carrigan coming into view  "now, now it was awfully silly for you all to go snooping where you don't belong wasn't it" the man said slapping deans gun from his hand with unnatural strength "the hel-" dean started but was knocked out with a blow to the head by Madge.
You stirred awake and looked around finding Dean sat in front of you tied to a chair, his head slumped to the side as he was out "Dean! Wake up" you called for him and heard shuffling from behind him "Y/N! Are you okay?" Sam asked worried "yeah I think so" you rasped out you throat feeling sore "what's going- Y/N! Sammy!" Dean moved quickly to start rushing to break out from the confinements of the ropes "looks like we're dealing with two pagan gods rather than one" Sam said
"Oh look dear they're awake, goodness we thought you were gonna sleep right through the night" Madge said chuckling as she walked behind her husband "and what? sleep through the party? No chance" dean replied sarcastically "oh he's a funny man then. No boy, see what you lot are, is hunters!" Mr Carrigan  said looking  at all of us in disgust "yeah, and you're  pagan gods so how about we just forget about this and we go our separate ways" dean said and the Cardigans both shook their heads right away "not a chance, you would just go and call all your hunting friends, no your not walking out of here alive" Madge said cheerfully as she pulled out a knife and bowl
"Guess you should have thought about that before you started eating people!" You demanded "oh don't be like that, we have pulled back from how much we used to eat, we used to take hundreds in a year, and now we only take what two or three?" She turned to her husband "well the three stooges here makes six dear" Mr Carrigan said as he walked to stand next to his wife "now that's not so bad is it, from hundreds to six people a year!" Madge said exasperated "oh well, when you say it like that... it's still horrible, your still monsters!" You said annoyed "you should be showing us some respect, your fate does lie in our hands now doesn't it, hunter" Mr Carrigan sneered at you in a threatening manner
"You touch a damn hair on her head and I swear I'll rip you limb from god damn limb" Dean threatened pulling at his restraints once again "well we're not the ones tied up now are we? so you ought to watch yourself" Mr Carrigan was in deans face as if to intimidate him "or what, your gonna eat us?" Madge perked up with a bright smile on her face "oh no, that comes later first we need to do the rituals" she announced clapping her hands together in excitement
"Oh we do love a good ritual don't we Madge" the women nodded excitedly "nothing better than a gold ole ritual to get you in the Christmas spirit! We just need some-" "meadowsweet?" Dean questioned, Madge nodded excitedly "oh darn, your all out of your... special meadowsweet wreaths, guess we'll just have to cancel the whole ritual" you rushed out looking at dean who was already looking at you with a worried glint in his eye
"Oh don't you worry dear, we have some special meadowsweet saved for such occasions!" Madge told you as she put wreaths around your necks "see now don't they look so, oh what's a good word... sweet" Madge said with a devious smile "sweet enough to eat!" Mr Carrigan said as he walked towards you with the knife and bowl "the hell are you doing! Get the fuck away from her" Dean yelled thrashing around in his restraints, Sam trifling against his own to help
"We're starting with the loud mouth" Mr Carrigan said as he dragged the knife down you arm causing you to scream "Y/N!" "Get off her, I swear I'm gonna kill you, you fucking sons of bitches!" The boys both yelling
You felt slightly dizzy form the blood loss, but you've been hurt far worse than this so your able to stay awake "Can you believe how they talk to us Madge? We're gods! They should be bowing down to us and thanking us for this, it's an honour for you!" Mr Carrigan  said angrily leaning down to Sam "d-don't" Sam started before he yelled out in pain "Sammy!" You and dean yelled
"you okay?" Dean questioned noticing your face screwed up in pain, don't worry about me I've been hurt worse than this" Madge came and stood before dean "now ya won't feel a pinch dear " she said before slicing down his arm Dean groaned in pain "you fucking bitch!" You screamed thrashing your legs trying to break them from their binds in order to lick the pagan god "oh watch your language in my house! She turned to you "when I really want to say bad words, ya know what I say… 'fudge' it's much nicer to say!" She said and you rolled your eyes "oh I'll try and fudging remember that!" You said exhausted with these peoples act
"Where are the pliers Madge?" Mr Carrigan asked shuffling through the cupboards "third drawer dear" Madge replied as she placed the bowl of your mixed blood ok the kitchen counter "Ah delightful! I think we'll start with you" and Carrigan said as he came to stand in front of Sam "the hell are you gonna do to me!" Sam demanded, neither of them answered him as they started pulling his nail away, Sam yelled in pain as you and Dean yelled for them to stop "Get off him you fudging lunatics!" Dean yelled still trying to get out of his restraints "oh very good!" Madge said proudly to dean as she plopped  Sam's finger nail in the bloody bowl,
"Your turn" Mr Carrigan said as he looked at you with a sick smile "no- no please.." your begs were muffled as he put the pliers in your mouth and went to pull a tooth out "stop it!" Dean yelled
Just as the evil pagan was about to rip your tooth out the doorbell rang, they shared a look of frustration before they stopped what they were doing and went to answer the door, leaving you and the boys alone
“Alright we don’t have much time” Sam said before he was able to wiggle his arm from the restraint and grabbing the blood covered knife from the counter and cutting the rest of his ropes “how the hell did you get out of them” dean whisper yelled as Sam undid his restraints “he hit the rope on my wrist when he was cutting my arm, I just needed them to be distracted” Sam informed you both, as soon as deans restraints were done he was taking the knife from Sam and kneeling in front  of you “how you feeling baby?” He asked making you smile “I’m fine, let’s kill these bastards!”
“We do apologise for that interruption, now let’s get back to the…” she trailed off turning to her her husband who matched her hard look before hearing a loud bang “careful you nearly took my hand off Dean!” They heard a male voice say from outside the door
“Dude our evergreen stakes! They’re in the basement” dean said worried knowing the cupboard wouldn’t hold forever when he heard the yells and bangs from the kitchen as Mr and Mrs crazy tried to break free  “yeah I think I’ve got that figured out” you told them as they turned to see what you were staring at… the Christmas tree “god baby your a genius!” Dean said and walked towards the big tree, he started breaking the branches off, just as you each got your own weapons the cupboard snapped and the Carrigans were stood breathing heavy with red angry faces at the doorway
“Oh you rude little… I loved that tree!” She screamed as she rushed attack Dean, you punched her before she could get to him, she turned to give you a sinister smile as she spit a bit of to the floor, she tried to grab you by your neck once more but you were faster, riling to the side so the women stumbled, you heard a groan from beside you that causing your attention, seeing Mr Carrigan on top on dean was enough to distract you, giving the evil pagan the upper hand as she gripped you neck tightly, you scratched at her hands to get her off
As soon as it started it was over, her grip on your neck loosened as the women grew limp, you looked down to see the tree branch through her chest as you coughed uncontrollably , Sam was behind her shoving it in deeper “MADGE NO!” Mr Carrigan yelled, Dean stuck him with his own branch before shoving the limp body to the side and getting up “you two okay?” Dean asked rushing over, “I’m okay, bound to have a sore throat all next week considering lil ole Madge there seemed pretty into choking” you joked causing both boys to laugh “alright we better clean this crap up” Sam said already making his way toward the Carrigans body’s.
Dean had dropped Sam off at the motel while you two went to go grab some take out for Christmas dinner “this was a pretty nasty hunt wasn’t it” dean said and you turned to smile at him  “yeah it was, who’d have thought we’d find evil pagan gods” you joked and turned back to look at the open road, noticing dean slowing baby up and pulling into a dirt road
He turned to face you “hey, so I know you don’t want to do Christmas, and I get it, trust me I do, but I-” he stopped to take a deep breath before continuing “I got you this a while ago and was just finding the right time to give it to you, and now seems as good as any..” Dean confessed, reaching into his pocket to pull out a ring box revealing a beautiful diamond ring “dean?” You questioned tears in your eyes
“I’m not proposing, we’ll i mean I kind of am, if I wasn’t in this deal sweetheart, I’d be on knee begging you to marry my ass but I don’t want to do that knowing there’s a chance I might not live to marry you, so I’m making a promise, a promise that if by some miracle I get out of this, you and me are getting married, we’ll do the whole nine yards because you deserve nothing better so my question is will you accept my promise?”” dean asked his voice shaky and full of fear as you had tears streaming down your face
You nodded and let out a teary laugh “yeah, I accept your promise Dean” you cried leaning forward to give him a wet kiss on the lips, you pulled apart when it became too hard to kiss because the two of you were smiling so hard “I love you so much sweetheart” he confessed leaning his forehead against yours “I love you too Dean”.
You and dean drive back to the motel after s few pit stops for food and gas, not being able to wipe the smile from your faces, not being able to stop admiring the small but beautiful diamond placed on your ring finger.
You both walked into the the motel room hand in hand with burgers and fries in a bag, hearing jingle bells play softly in the background and Sam stood smiling at you both, you took in the room and noticed the little Christmas tree sat on the table and the eggnog “Sammy?” Dean questioned his smile growing bigger “what’s all this then?” Sam gave him an obvious look “it’s Christmas, well our Christmas” Sam replied handing you both a cup of eggnog
“Well let’s sit down get eating” Dean said as you all took a seat at the small motel couch “hey what’s that” Sam asked spotting the sparkle in you hand “we’ll we kinda got engaged, well a promise engagement” you told him showing the ring off to the younger Winchester who was smiling at you both “that’s amazing you guys!” He congratulated making you smile
“I got you both something” Sam confessed pulling out two presents wrapped up in news paper “you didn’t have to do that Sammy” you said with a smile, “I got you something too” dean told him pulling out the presents you two both purchased, “oh wait don’t open anything! I have your presents in my bag” you said quickly running to your duffle and pulling out two cutely wrapped boxes “sweetheart when did you get these? I thought you were against CHRISTMAS at first?” Dean questioned when you handed him his present
“I was against celebrating… under these circumstances but I always love presents” you told him sitting down once more you all opened you gifts, Sam had gotten you your favourite bottle of vodka, Dean had gotten Sam porno mags to which the younger hunter lit up at “no more pay per view for a while now” you joked, he also got him a bottle of shaving cream, knowing he ran out that morning… because he’d finished it off, Sam got Dean a bottle of oil for Dean and his favourite candy bar “hey, you knew just what I wanted man” dean told him opening up the candy bar
The boys the  opened your gifts “Y/N, thank you I love it” Sam said moving to give you a hug after  he opened the box of his favourite cologne “no problem sweetie, I know how much you love that stuff
Dean was next opening up his present “hey that’s awesome, a new gun to add to the collection” dean said excited looking at the silver pistol “hey it’s got my initials!” Thank you sweetheart, I love it” dean told you pulling you into a deep kiss.
You and the boys were all sat on the couch, you on deans lap cuddling into him as home alone played in the back ground, but you couldn’t really focus too much on the movie, only the man who was currently snoozing with his arms wrapped tightly around your waist, thinking of every possible way to save him from his  fate, praying to anyone to save your boyfriend, for now you had to wait and just hope for the best, hope that your boyfriend wouldn’t be ripped to shreds by hell hounds, hope that someone, anyone could save him. For right now you were gonna relish in the feeling of his strong arms around you, of the feeling of his heartbeat, the sounds of his voice because deep down you knew, he couldn’t be saved from this, you just had to cherish the little time left with him.

Letter To Santa
TaskForce 141 x Child!GN!Reader
Tumblr media
Warnings: none, be prepared for teeth rotting, sweet fluff. We believe in Santa on this page. This is primarily center around our dear Capt. Price because seeing him as a father figure would cure my woes. This is not proof read and I just woke up so have fun ❄️🎶🎄
Word Count: 1.29K
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
The stocking were hung by the chimney with care in hopes that St.Nicholas soon would be there.
Little hands eagerly worked at a red pen and delicate paper, smoothing out wrinkles. Fingers grazed papyrus with ease and little barefeet barely brushed against the cold floor. Brows knitted in concentration as the wee babe bite their tongue in thought.
“How do you spell Santa?”
The sweet voice echoed through the barrack walls quite the contrast of its usual interior.
“S-A-N-T-A. Here little one, I’ll write it down for you.” The gruff voice bent down with a crack of his spine before letters curled one by one to spell the jolly fat man’s name.
“And how do you spell Christmas?”
A gruff sigh came from the man’s beard lips as he spelt out the words CHRISTMAS in extra large font for the babe.
Captain Price was a man well into his years, beaten and broken down from multiple years of war and hardship but, somehow or another you wiggled your way into his heart. He most certainly thought of you as his own and cared for you like such.
Calloused hands tending to your every need such as tying your shoes, reaching top shelves, teaching you sight words and so on and so forth.
“Kid, what are they teaching you in school? Do I have to spell everything for you?” He teased, running large calloused digits though H/C hair, ruffling it a bit but quickly slicking down its strands back in place.
“Could you write my letter? Please? I’ll tell you everything you need to write!?” Eager pleads filled the air and brought about the rest of the men to seek out your woes.
“Just this once! And I won’t ask for anything else!”
A half snort left the masked lips of our dearest stoic, balaclava covered “friend”. Deep voice for a large man indeed. A bit scary but, you were never scared of the one in which they call “Ghost”. Oh no, quite the opposite. You played with him, hugged him, snuggled up to him, had breakfast with him, much like everyone else who you had wrapped around your little tiny fingers.
“I find that rather hard to believe, love” He stated rather promptly, leaning back against a rickety chair, stretching his limbs out a bit.
“It’s true! I promise! And I can’t lie because Santa is watching AND, unlike some people-“ You shot glares at Ghost and Soap, Soap whom shot you a half innocent look back as if he had no idea what you were even rambling about. Ghost, if at all possible rolled his eyes beneath the mask at your little rambling. At least Gaz was safe from your rambles and tales of the “naughty and nice list.” You were certain your name and Gaz’s name was on the nice list, and maybe Price’s, but Ghost and Soap’s? Absolutely not!
“I’m gonna be on Santa’s nice list so I can get lots and lots of presents. So I can’t lie. Just, someone please write my Santa letter for me!? That’s all I ask! Please!? Pretty please?! Pretty please with sugar on top?!”
Little hands clasped together eagerly begging and pleading for your letter to be written, feet bounced from one heel to the next, little E/C eyes looked up to the men round, full of light and wonder but pupils wide and begging almost like a puppy who wanted a treat.
“Tch, fine. Only this once. Got it? Now, come here, little one. I’ll see to it that your letter is written and fit for Santa.” Captain Price patted his knee and you eagerly abided, settled atop his knee as if he were Santa himself. Come to think of it, if he had a longer, white beard and was a little fatter and more jollier, he could be Santa. You giggled in thought, earning a brow raise from Price before he carefully held you steady.
The hand that was holding you, held that same bright red ink pen gently against the notebook paper that you had originally used to write your own, little letter.
“Ready Captain? I gotta big list of things to write and say. Think you can keep up?” You teased the old Captain though you did this quite often and found joy in joking about his age. Though, the Captain wasn’t that old. He was in his late 30’s, early 40’s but, to you he was ancient.
“Take your best shot, kiddo.”
He chuckled before the tip of the red pen pressed against the crinkled paper, whereas you rambled on about your list, Price was lightly writing out as followed:
Dear Santa,
I have been really good this year. I have done all of my chores without complaining and been on my best behavior. For Christmas this year I want (insert toy list here) and for my “pretend” family to get everything they want Christmas. Oh! And I want them to be able to go home and spend Christmas with the people they love. Because that’s what Christmas is all about. Family and love.
P.S. Can you please get my Uncle Ghost a boyfriend/girlfriend. Thanks. He’s really lonely.
“Is that good?” You asked the Captain with a small tilt of your head, holding up the crinkled paper reading over each and every sentence you made Price write.
“Men, Do me the honor of looking over their letter. Tell me, is it Santa Clause worthy?” Price held the crinkled paper up for Ghost, Soap and Gaz to look over.
Gaz was the first to read it, chocolate hues scanning the paper over and over again with a small chuckle at the last sentence. A hand went over to tuck strands of H/C behind your ears and compliment your work, though Price wrote you you worded it.
Soap was next and as azure blue eyes looked over the paper he chuckled whole heartedly.
“Ya really are doin’ poor L.T. a favor here aren’t ya lass/lad?” Soap chuckled wholeheartedly before Ghost snatched the paper from the Scotsman.
“Johnny what’re you laughing at-“
He breathed in a heavy sigh at the last little sentence you had, had Price write.
“Bloody hell…”
He grumbled, large digits pinching the bridge of nose through mask and balaclava.
“It’s funny.”
You giggled, peering over Price’s tired shoulders to see Ghost’s reaction.
“Aye lass/lad, it’s also Santa worthy.” Soap got in another chuckle before snatching the crinkle red written letter back from Ghost and letting Price read over it one more time, before sealing it up into an envelope, licking it shut and sticking a little stamp on it.
“Say, Y/N? Do you know what Santa’s address is?” The Captain arched a brow at you as you seemed to be falling somewhat sleep in his gentle hold.
“Uh uh. But I bet it’s on your maps. Somewhere. You got lots of them. You can find it, I believe in you.”
You chuckled in a half sleepy manner, leaning back against Price’s broad chest, H/C and H/L falling over your tired features.
Price turned your body, so you were tucked tightly into his arms gently moving strands of hair out of your face. He thought for a moment at your little request and a subtle hum came from him.
In a hushed tone he whispered a simple,
“Don’t worry little lamb, St.Nicholas will get your letter, my men and I will make sure of it. “
He pressed a soft kiss against the crown of your head before letting you slumber and dream in his arms. He fetched the other men to quickly find Santa’s address for your silly, one of a kind letter.

A/N: I suck at accents and writing but, my brain has been turned off recently because ya girl graduated last Saturday and I threw everything I've ever known out the window haha. I love writing fluff and I will die on that hill. This idea also came to me from a couple of AI chat roleplays and simply, well Christmas spirit. I know the gang is probably ooc and I sincerely apologize for that. I will get better, trust me! Reqs are open forever and always! Reblogs are def appreciated!

Christmas Traditions
———————
Dad!Mason during Christmas is one of my favourite concepts ever. Just thinking about all of the things you could do with your little family, whether it’s your babies first Christmas, or they’re a little bit older and understanding what’s going on a little more.
Imagine taking your little one to meet Santa for the first time. Maybe it’s a bit of a Mount Christmas tradition to take the kids to meet Santa and give him their Christmas lists, you’ve been going to the same grotto with Mason’s nieces for years and you’ve been looking forward to the time you can finally take your own little one with you. And it’s finally the year.
Maybe by the time Christmas comes around they’re only about 10 months old so they’re obviously still too little to write their own list so you and Mason write one for them, signing it from all three of you ready to put in the little post box at the grotto you’re visiting. I can imagine them being a little unsure when you go in to actually meet Santa, Mason’s nieces are a bit more confident with him now they’re older and understand who he is but with your little one still being a baby they’re a bit more confused and when ‘Santa’ goes to hold them for a picture they get a little upset. Mason being the protective dad he is would quickly get the picture taken and swoop straight in to comfort your baby, taking another photo with everyone in it once they’ve calmed down more. You’d get the photo printed and put into a ‘first Christmas 2024’ frame, wanting to remember the memory forever.
It would be the best year ever starting new traditions as a family of three.
Now thinking about once your kid/s are a bit older…
For this concept I always imagine you having 2 children, one boy and then a girl that’s only a year or two younger. You’ve got loads of traditions that you’ve started throughout the years like going to pick out your christmas tree and going to a Christmas light trail/show, but I think the Christmas Eve traditions would be your favourite.
Mason would always want to make any day special for them, but when it comes to Christmas he’d step up his game and think of loads of things for you to do to make it special.
One thing would be getting the kids to sit and write out their Christmas lists to leave by the bottom of the chimney for Santa to find. You and Mason would of course already know what they’re asking for and would have it all brought and wrapped already, but would tell them that Santa needs to know what they’re asking for so he can leave the right presents under the tree when he visits. (Did anyone else do this as a kid or just me?)
You’d get them to do that in the morning so that it’s out the way and then you’d get started on baking cookies to leave for Santa as well, letting the kids decide what recipe they want to follow and letting them take full creative control with decorating them. You’d leave them out on a plate next to the chimney or fire (with the wish lists), a long with a carrot for the reindeer’s
After baking you’d go out on a little family Christmas Eve walk, heading to the local park that the kids love, to let them run around and let all of their energy out, Mason would also bring out his inner child and would run around with them for ages, pushing them on the swings, catching them at the bottom of the slide, and letting them play games with him until it’s time to go home. A bonus would be if it’s snowing and you can play in the snow.
Once you get home you’d make a quick dinner and then have a Christmas themed bath time, using Christmas scented bubble bath and getting out all of the Christmassy bath toys that you’ve collected over the years. I can imagine Mason would love doing bath time with them so you let him sort it out whilst you do some last minuet present wrapping.
Once bath time is over you get them dried off and let them open their first gifts. Before having children you and Mason always loved matching PJs at Christmas and it’s something he wanted to continue as a family because he knows how happy it makes you. So every year, on Christmas Eve, you wrap up their new PJs and some of their favourite chocolates, letting them open them after bath time as a little early gift from you and Mason. You’d get them changed into them and you and Mason would get yours on to before heading downstairs to watch a Christmas movie before bed.
You’d all snuggle up as a family with your chocolates and your Christmas Eve movie of choice would be something like the Grinch or The Polar Express. You’d watch it every year, never getting tired of the kids faces lighting up during the opening credits.
It’s these moments that would be Mason’s favourite as a dad. His whole world with him on the sofa, all full of energy and excitement about what’s to come tomorrow.
It takes a while to get the kids to bed, needing to open up Santa tracker to show them that Santa is too far away and there’s no point waiting up to try and see him, but when they do eventually give in they ask to have a sleepover so that they can wake up in the same room together tomorrow morning. It doesn’t take a lot of convincing from them and Mason very quickly says yes, never being able to say no to those pouty faces, and loving that his two angels want to spend as much time together as possible.
You get them tucked in, you and Mason reading them a book each before heading back down stairs just the two of you. You’d take the opportunity to spend some time just the two of you before deciding to set up for the morning, needing the kids to be completely asleep before you start bringing presents out to put under the tree.
Maybe you’d watch an episode of a show you’ve been binging because as much as you love Christmas movies, you’ve watched all of them already with the kids and it’s rare you get the chance to sit and watch anything just the two of you anymore.
Once you can be certain the little ones won’t wake up, you begin getting all of presents from under the tree. It’s safe to say they’d be spoiled. With loads of presents from ‘Santa’ as well as some addressed from ‘Mummy and Daddy’. You’d definitely be the more sensible parent when it comes to gift buying, having a little more self restraint. But you also could never say no to Mason when he’s getting excited about toys he knows they’ll love.
Once all the presents are under the tree you and Mason each take a couple of bites out of the cookies and carrots that you left out for Santa and his Reindeer, picking up the lists to so that it looks like Santa took them (you’d keep them as a memory, not having the heart to throw them away) and maybe you’d even write out a thank you note from ‘Santa’ and leave some footprints coming from the fire place, either with flour to look like snow or with some mud from the garden. It would give you even more to clean up in the morning but it would be so worth it to see the look on their faces when they come down stairs in the morning.
Then, once you’re happy with everything, you’d head upstairs and run through your night time routines before climbing into bed.
You’d lay in bed together and reminisce on the month you’ve had. It’s been one of the busiest of the year, but definitely one of your favourites. All of the traditions you’ve started over the years have made for some of your favourite memories and you and Mason both get a little emotional looking back through your camera rolls and photos from various different activities and outings you’ve done throughout the last couple of weeks.
We all know that Mason would be the best dad ever. And I definitely think he would try and make every Christmas more special than the last for you and his kids, especially as they get older and start understanding things a bit more.

Summary: A brief tale of your first Christmas Eve in Jackson Word Count: 2,166 Pairing: Joel Miller x GN! Reader Rating: 18 + Explicit (but not super descriptive smut) Warnings: 18+ mdni, established relationship, fluff, post-outbreak/Jackson, oral (m and gn receiving), unprotected penetrative sex, fingering (gn receiving), finger sucking, spit as lube, Joel is handsy, soft!joel, no y/n, no physical description of reader, reader is gender neutral, description of reader having a mother when they were young, reader celebrates Christmas, reader has no age, a tiny bit of sadness, nostalgia, no beta, let me know if I missed anything! Note: I wrote this very quickly to try and alleviate the writer's block because I have about 15 Pedro character WIPs (mostly Joel) and have yet to complete a single one. I also wrote this to express my feelings about how the holidays haven't really felt very magical for me for a while, but adopting new traditions has helped me find the magic again.
The streetlights are reflecting off of the fresh layer of snow. Despite it being the dead of night, the white ground makes everything just a bit brighter. The air is dry, and it smells like pine and open fires and for a second, when you focus really hard, it’s Christmas Eve, pre-apocalypse.
You can remember it plain as day. You can feel the air like it was yesterday, that palpable excitement as you spread a mixture of oats and glitter and sequins across your childhood front yard.
“So the reindeer know where to land Santa’s sleigh,” your mom had told you.
You can feel the warmth of her hand enveloping your tiny, freezing fingers. The warmth of her voice, of her gaze on you.
You swallow down the lump in your throat, try to remember that happy memories can be just that— and not a cruel taunting of the way things used to be and how different they are now.
You don’t realize how cold you actually are until two warm arms wrap around you, and hot breath creeps down the collar of your long johns.
“Gonna catch your death,” Joel mumbles.
You lean back into him, close your eyes, and take a big, deep breath. You smell the snow and the chimney smoke but also homemade oat soap and lavender laundry wash and it isn’t like it used to be, but maybe that doesn’t have to mean it’s worse.
“Was hoping I’d see Santa fly over,” you say, distracted, watching the stars in the crisp winter sky.
“You think he made it through all these years?”
Joel chuckles as he says it, and wraps his arms a tad tighter around you.
“I like to think so,” you shrug.
His soft laughter turns into a hum, turns into lips pressed under your ear.
“I love the way you are.”
It’s sweet. It’s sticky, nauseating words coming from a man you never thought would be anything but cold and calculated, when you first met. It warms you all the way through, maybe even melts some of the snow that’s blown its way onto the porch you’re standing on.
You want to say it back, want to tell him how much you love the way he is, the way his guarded heart shines through the cracks so bright it blinds you, the way his smiles make you weak so that it’s a good thing he’s so stingy with them.
“What’s that supposed to mean?” you ask instead.
He takes a long moment to respond. You can feel his teeth grinding together where his jaw is hooked over your shoulder, and the way his breath is coming in less than slow and steady.
“Just— It’s 20 years into the end of the world and you still have hope.”
You sigh and turn your head, seeking out his stubbled cheek, and press a kiss to the wind burnt skin.
“I found you after all this time, didn’t I?”
He huffs, and it sounds amused. You turn a bit in his hold to look at his eyes and the way his eyebrows gather together in the middle.
“And this is a blessing, not a curse?”
You want to kiss the skeptical look off of his face, so you do, hooking your arms around his neck and capturing his bottom lip between your own.
You feel the warmth of his palms through your shirt as they splay out across your back, fingers digging, working the muscles there like he’s kneading bread. You hum into his mouth and let your fingers tangle in the soft curls at the nape of his neck just as his tongue finds yours.
You can feel him slowly filling out his worn jeans where his hips press into your own and you think, with a chuckle you can’t contain, that this is the only Christmas gift you want from now on.
He pulls away at your soft laughter, his own eyes twinkling with an edge of humor.
“Are you stallin’ or somethin’?”
You shake your head as a smile splits your face from ear to ear.
“Never. Always a blessing, babe,” you tell him.
Your hands drop from his neck quickly to grab two handfuls of his ass and squeeze, and he glares at you as you press him just that much closer to you.
“I’ll give you a blessing,” he grumbles.
His head ducks down so that his lips can find your pulse point, and then his teeth, a playful nip with a hint of something more desperate and charged.
“Better not give the whole neighborhood an eye full,” you warn, half-heartedly. You know most people are asleep, and you know neither you nor Joel would really mind it.
Still, on the off-chance Tommy and Maria are still awake across the street, you don’t need to give the town leader any fuel for retaliation.
His breath comes out in whisps of steam around your face, minty with notes of whiskey.
“Go on ‘n get, then. Warm up by the fire.”
And you know by now not to protest, not when your prize for obeying is so worth being bossed around by the grumpy old man.
You undress by the fire and look around the living room while Joel makes sure the house is locked up.
It’s not quite decorated like an old Christmas movie, but it’s still festive, still as warm and full of cheer as you remember from before.
There’s a Christmas branch, really, a small little bush that Ellie had brought home to you a few weeks before. You had spent the day looking around for scraps of anything red, some ribbon, the sleeve of an old t-shirt, some berries on a bush that you were certain weren’t edible. You both worked on decorating the Charlie Brown-esque tree as Joel watched, grumbling, but plucking away at a rendition of ‘Oh Christmas Tree’ on his guitar as he complained.
There are three big socks hung up on the mantle of the fireplace, Joel’s, who griped about having to give up the precious fabric while he decorated them with you and Ellie at the kitchen table. ‘Decorated’ used lightly, as you only had a few errant pipe cleaners and the guts of a few raspberries as a red/pink dye.
And then there’s the whittled reindeer Joel had presented to you just days ago with a shy look on his face you don’t see very often. The wood is smooth and the antlers are intricate, and even though you can’t see it, you know there’s a little heart carved into the bottom of its back left hoof. It’s your favorite decoration out of all of them, displayed lovingly and proudly on the coffee table.
You grab an old blanket from the back of the couch and lay it in front of the fire just as Joel finds you again. His footsteps are lighter without his heavy boots on, and his fingers don’t feel as warm now as they grab your hips.
“Gonna lay down for me?”
His voice is low and gruff and calm, and all you can do is obey, and lie down naked on the fleece.
You prop yourself up on your elbows to watch him undress. The light of the fire makes all of his golden skin look even more so, dancing an orange glow across his scarred stomach and sparsely haired chest and the contrasting hardness and softness of his form that’s so familiar now.
You touch yourself gently as you watch him, light strokes, just to tease while you wait for him. With a grunt, he gets down to share the warm blanket with you, rolling you onto your side to face the flames.
“You remember that Mariah Carey Christmas song?” he asks as his rough hand curls around your hip.
You hide your smile in your own arm before answering.
“Not sure if I do. Sing a few bars for me.”
He groans and squeezes your flesh.
“You're pullin’ my leg."
“Yeah, I remember it.”
Remembering songs post-apocalypse is strange, the way you can not hear it for decades but still remember every note and word. Now, ringing through your head, is the high register of All I Want for Christmas is You, and you hum the chorus as Joel’s heavy prick presses against the small of your back.
“That’s how I feel,” he tells you.
His hand gets bolder, travels to the place where your thigh and hip meet, and then farther, between your legs, where it’s quite obvious what you want for Christmas, too.
“I feel the same, Joel.”
His breath puffs against your neck as he nuzzles that tender place behind your ear. He doesn’t often talk about his feelings for you, electing rather to show them through gestures. You like when he says it though, it makes it feel even more tangible, makes a nostalgic warmth tingle throughout your guts and your chest.
“Have you been good this year?” he asks you, a hint of mischief in his voice that makes you giggle.
“I think I have, yeah.”
“Debatable,” he grumbles, “but I guess you won’t get a lump of coal.”
He gets you on your back, and your breath hitches as he covers you with his big, solid body. His skin feels so incredible against yours, always, every time you’re together like this.
He starts to press open-mouthed kisses down your body, a searing hot trail across your most sensitive spots, until he’s mouthing around where you want him most.
“Please, baby, please.”
You know he likes to hear you beg for it. His sweet brown eyes find yours as he smiles, and the warmth of his gaze and the fire start to pull little pinpricks of sweat from your pores.
But he doesn’t tease you for long. You watch with wonder as his graying curls bounce between your legs, his attentive mouth working you tenderly but thoroughly. Your hand tangles in his hair for purchase as you lift your hips to urge him on.
He’s always so sloppy with it, and his saliva drips down onto the blanket, and you love it like this, so messy and haphazard, with no regard to anything but making you feel good, getting you off.
His fingers, three of them, tap at your parted lips. They’re so big as you take them in and swirl your tongue around them, getting them nice and wet, and your own spit seeps from the corners of your mouth. He groans, and you can feel it with his mouth on you.
His hips make small little moves to rut against the blanket between your open legs, and you want him inside, need to feel him inside you.
You tell him this much, though it’s muffled with his fingers in your mouth. He doesn’t let up until you’re teetering on the edge, moaning and whimpering around his flesh, gripping his hair so tight you don’t know how you haven’t pulled it out.
You whine when his mouth retreats.
“I know, I know. So greedy for it,” he coos, teasing.
You scowl at him, but it holds no heat, and he laughs at your impatience as he coaxes you back onto your side.
Behind you, Joel’s chest is solid and sweaty against your back. His fingers are solid too, sure but gentle, as he works them inside one by one to open you up with the help of your drool.
“So good for me. What a present,” he tells you.
It makes you impossibly hotter, and impossibly more in love with the man, and impossibly more impatient.
“I want my present now,” you sigh.
He tuts at you, against your shoulder blade, but you know he won’t deny you for longer because you can feel him leaking all over the skin of your back.
When he presses into you, slow as ever, you feel even more full than you usually do.
“Yes,” you pant, “like that. Just what I wanted.”
He fills you over and over, a leisurely but steady pace, and his hands roam across your slick, heated skin. As his body presses against yours, and as he reaches around to work you to your climax, you can’t help but feel overwhelmed at the realization that things are okay, things are great, and they’re allowed to be, despite the state of everything.
When you come, he comes too, deep inside you. His teeth bare down on your shoulder, and he grunts your name into your skin, and he tells you you’re perfect, and that you’re so good to him.
Joel doesn’t move far, after. He grabs an article of discarded clothing to clean you up. You know his back must kill like this, on the floor, but his happy breaths across your cooling skin make you think that this must be worth a little pain in the morning.
And when he sleepily mumbles, “Merry Christmas, Darlin’,” it sounds a lot more like “I love you.”

Fuck it, Schlatt dressed as Santa Claus.... go crazy... and I mean go crazy...
ohhhh anon you are cooking with this one
im gonna make this dad! schlatt themed because i think it's perfect :')
gets a tad suggestive at the end but is mostly just fluffy fluff :D
❆ so you and schlatt are married with two kids, a boy and a girl
❆ you mention in passing how your uncle used to dress as santa when you were a kid and bring you presents
❆ SO... what better way to continue the tradition?
❆ rents a costume from some random shop and hides it from all of you so it can be a surprise!!
❆ it's christmas morning and you and the kids are waiting for a "special surprise" from dad
❆ he doesn't come down the chimney necessarily but he is hiding behind the tree and pops out when you come in w/ them
❆ "i didn't know santa was gonna visit us!"
❆ the kids are OVERJOYED. they (kind of) know it's schlatt in a costume but they play along with it because they're just so happy!!!
❆ they open their presents and are soooo happy🥺
❆ and you have some presents to open as well!!
❆ all in all it's just so sweet
❆ the kids run off to play with their new toys which means you and your husband have some time alone 😉
❆ "i really liked my presents this year."
❆ "yeah?"
❆ sitting in his lap!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
❆ "but there's something else i want."
❆ "and what is that?"
❆ making out while he's still in the costume that's what
❆ what i NEED rn.
❆ anyways.

painting over mirrors
read here.
David has noticed a pattern, and he can't tell if art is the solution.. or the cause.
a short javid fic about art not being a coping mechanism, and instead a half-cursed way of being.
The roof of the lodge is lined with ghosts, is the first thing David notices.
Young boys and girls made ghastly by charcoal and the night sky are stuck to the railing, to the brick, and all around the hollow, iron rod that juts out oddly as a makeshift chimney for the heater a floor below. Each paper is a tiny bit crumpled, too, as if Jack has torn them down and put them up numerous times. David asks about them carefully, but only receives a shrug in return.
“They’re past kids that’ve come through here an’ left,” Jack says. “It’s my way of, just. Remembering them.”
David catches him watching a particular drawing, older, dirtier than the rest, a little longer. The boy in it has a button-like nose, similar to how Les’s used to look when he was younger, with Jack’s dark springy hair and large black eyes. He isn’t smiling, and neither is Jack when he finds David’s gaze.
“It’s nothing,” Jack retorts, as if David had said something. “Really, Dee. I just wanted to show you around up here is all.”
“And you are,” David agrees, allowing his gaze to become quizzical now that Jack’s gone defensive.
And Jack’s sensed it, his expression already working to undo what David’s spotted. The heat recedes from his eyes, his shoulder releases its tension. He even smiles, a forced shoving of his lips and cheeks.
“That's your nosey look,” Jack accuses David- accurately, but that's besides the bigger picture. “All in good time, m’kay?”
David’s not so sure.
Because Jack spends hours and hours alone at Medda’s, and when David comes by he finds the boy surrounded by scrap pieces of canvas, half finished and ripped, his paint-splattered body bent uncomfortably forward with a brush to the new one he’s stretched out, mumbling. And when he sees David he goes rigid, reddened eyes widened as if David’s caught him drinking too much or something when it at least only looks like painting.
And Jack spends hours and hours alone on the roof with his scrap paper that he folds away with an easy grin when David comes up to check on him, even though David can see that full, rendered sketches are completely scribbled over with dark, pressured marks.
And usually, anything struck through, brashly painted over, or smudged beyond recognition is free of mountains, sun, cacti and clay homes. Santa Fe remains safe, and so do Jack’s ghosts.
“No,” David finds himself saying. “It's been enough time, it's been- too much time of you hiding yourself away and not… being happy, about it.”
Jack looks at him, confused, so David forces more words from himself.
“Usually when you're drawing, or painting, when I'm there at least- you look… passionate. Like it's a simple sort of.. natural love.”
Jack frowns. “Yeah, Dave, ‘cause I- ‘cause it’s what I do.”
“Then why do you…” David bites the inside of his cheek, but continues. “Why do you- also passionately.. destroy it?”
“Passionately destroy it,” Jack echoes with a hum after a moment. He leans back against the railing, crossing his arms. “It’s not- it’s just. It’s how I work. If I don’t like somethin’, I try again.”
“Most people rip out a page or set a canvas aside, or- hell, go with it,” David counters. “Jack, you… wreck it, to where you can’t even tell what it is anymore. Doing something you love.”
Jack looks up at him then, eyes narrowed curiously.
“You keep saying I love it,” he says. “Don’t think I ever said that though, Dee.”
David blinks.
Jack spends so much time practicing and perfecting this craft, he sketches friends and places he knows and places he wishes he knew, he sketches young newsies he still misses. He creates art out of the things he loves, David knows it.
“Don’t you?” he asks slowly, setting himself next to the other. Jack scoffs.
“I don’t love cigarettes, but I still smoke, don’t I?” he says, shrugging. Jack’s gaze flicks forward. “I don’t.. really know howta describe it. I see something, you know, in my head, and I just have to get it down. I have to, and if I don’t, I just get this fear that I’ll lose it, somehow.”
David nods, after a few seconds of processing. He tilts his head, hoping Jack will keep going. He doesn’t.
“Lose it, you mean- get angry?” David asks. Jack shakes his head, eyebrows scrunched, trying to figure it out himself.
“Nah, nah, like- lose it. Forget it. Like it’ll disappear,” he clarifies. “Like you’ll- you’ll just disappear. If I don’t do something about it.”
David doesn’t have anything to say to that yet, and thankfully Jack continues.
“I know y’won’t. I know that ain’t really true,” Jack murmurs, arms unfurling and hands setting themselves on the rail behind him. “I dunno why I keep drawing if it ain’t something I really love, like that, like how Kath loves writin’. I just know I have to, I gotta make somethin’ or it won’t be real, you know? With my own hands, makin’ those memories. Makin’ sure things I like can’t be blocked out, since I used- uh, I used to… it used to happen.”
And Santa Fe isn’t a memory, so it always remains. It’s always perfect, this… western desire, the cowboy idealization, it’s Jack’s one true creation. Nothing Jack can create it as can be marred when he doesn’t have anything to line it up against in his mind.
“And the destruction, then,” David inquires softly. “Is it about accuracy to what you remember? Does what you draw have to be exactly what you see..?”
Saying it out loud, David knows it’s not true- Jack’s sketches are often loose and relative, he’s just not sure what else the explanation can be. He doesn’t think like Jack, like an artist. And so Jack shakes his head.
“Ain’t easy to explain,” he says to David. Jack’s nose scrunches slightly, thinking. “Less about exactness and more… what it was to me . Interrup- interpretation. Something in my head just needs to express what the memory is to me, and when my hands ain’t do it right, it’s like misremembering, and I can’t risk that, so I have to get rid of it. There’s memory in your body, right, and there’s memory in my hands. I ain’t wanna accidentally draw or paint somethin’ wrong the same way twice, so I gotta rip it, or write over it, to just- remove it. Cancel it out.”
David bites his lip at that. Jack catches it, though, and his eyebrows raise.
“I mean I guess- I ain’t have to. I don’t need to,” Jack tries. “I think I just- well, I feel.. better when I do. I gotta do what my brain’s saying, that’s all. I can see what it’s gotta be, and I just get this itch, you know?” He scoffs, laughing bitterly. “God, it really is just like smokin’. Shit.”
David smiles with him, though a little bittersweetly. He can’t quite tell if Jack’s… suffering, exactly. There are times when his art looks like it’s killing him, and David knows how much time Jack can take with it and how much it isolates him. Is it really like smoking? Like some kind of addiction to the other, or some compulsion?
“Jackie, if it’s a habit you want to break,” he says, placing his hand over the other’s, “I’m here to help, you know? Anything you need for this, I’m here.”
Jack’s gaze falls to where David’s touching, letting their fingers properly intertwine.
“I probably should be better about it, hm,” Jack smiles softly, sadly. “But it’s- Davey, I dunno. It’s just how I think. It’s how I work and how I see things.”
“Then…” David hums. “Then I’d like to see how you see things, then. I’d like to see how you think. Tell me when you’re going to the theater. Tell me when you’re gonna go sketch something. You don’t have to create these memories by yourself all the time, yeah?”
Jack purses his lips, letting his head fall against David’s shoulder. “Yeah. Yeah, okay.”
David does his best to not let his body reveal his relief. The memorializing Jack does in his head, for those still around him… It’s a little haunting. He doesn’t know why Jack feels that need outside of his artistic inclination, but something tells David it has to do with that boy on the page that looks too much like Jack, set right by where Jack sleeps. Something… happened , something that used to–or still does, for all David knows–cause Jack to lose time, to block out things from his past. David doesn’t want to be one of Jack’s ghosts, not while he’s still around. Not if he can do anything about it.
“You need someone to remind you when to grab supper anyway,” David says, instead of any of the loose puzzle pieces drifting through his brain. Jack merely whines, and presses himself closer against David, decidedly present.

Santa Baby - Eartha Kitt “Santa baby, just slip a Sable under the tree for me Been an awful good girl Santa baby, so hurry down the chimney tonight”
Sam’s POV
The snow is falling faster than my windshield wipers can keep up with as I rush home.
I don’t know why I took this fucking job this week, and I can’t help but think to myself. I’d rather be home getting ready for Christmas with my girls.
I audibly groan and smack the steering wheel, frustrated as all hell. Just ten minutes from home but still too far, and these fucking backroads. I turn the music louder, hoping to drown out my bad mood. I can make it ten more minutes.
Pulling into our driveway, relief fills my chest. Glancing at our small home, it looks as though it’s almost glowing in the soft falling snow. The warm lights inside softly trickled through our half-closed curtains, making it almost like an ethereal haven. I can’t turn the car off fast enough as I dash towards the porch, excited to see her.
“Willa!” I shout as I throw our front door open. “Penny-girl!”
The chilling silence greets me.
Panic creeps in rather quickly; I don’t think anything has been this quiet since I brought Penelope home from the shelter. I look at the small table near our entryway where we keep our keys when a little black and white square catches my eye.
A polaroid?
I walk over and flip over the photo. Staring back at me is a close-up of Willa’s collarbone, her signature dark brown hair barely brushing her shoulder.
Penny is at Josh’s. Come find me. ⅕
My heart immediately picks up as I read her words, and I can feel a smile tugging at my lips. It’s game on as I look around for the remaining photographs. I spot one rather quickly taped backward on the wall leading deeper into our home. Sprinting over to it, I’m careful as I peel it off its resting place. This polaroid is a close-up of her delicious hip adorned with lavender lingerie I don’t recognize.
Like what you see, baby? ⅖
My mouth is watering at the sight of her. It feels like my heart is beating out of my chest with the amount of adrenaline coursing through my veins. I need to find her.
“Birdie!” I shout.
The only response I hear is the start of soft music coming from what seems like our bedroom. I take off in a hurry, keeping my eyes wide for the last three polaroids. As I round the corner and started to take the stairs two at a time, I stopped in my tracks. Halfway up, taped to the wall, is another bit of black-and-white treasure. Again, I’m careful as I pluck it off of the wall. I take my time as I flip around to see what she’s left for me this time. This one has just her perfect lips and jaw in the photo. Her bottom lip is tucked in between her teeth.
I’ve been waiting for you, gonna make me wait longer? ⅗
My fucking girl. My heart pumps with a primal need for her now. I finish my ascent to the top of the stairs as I pull the hair tie around my wrist and tie my hair back into a messy bun. I don’t want anything to get in the way of her. I can’t help but charge into our bedroom, where the music gets progressively louder.
I take a solid breath and open the door. “I hope you’re ready-” Another empty room. I can’t help but laugh into the open space as I glance at our bed. On top of our navy sheets, another black and white wonder waits for me. I take a moment and strip off my thick sweater, leaving me in my undershirt and jeans as I walk over to the polaroid. I waste no time flipping this one over; a proud feeling blooms in my chest over my girl. Looking at the photo, it’s just her chest. Her delicious chest, covered by lilac-colored lace. Small intricate flowers shield bits and pieces, but I can still see the warm brown of her nipples peeking through.
I’ve been such a good girl, Sammy ⅘
My breath hitches when I read her words. My jeans get incredibly tight to the point that the pressure of the zipper feels good. I glance around our room for another hint, anything to lead me to where she is. Thinking that I had found Willa, I shut the door to our room quickly, which was something she suspected. A yellow post-it note stares at me from the back of our door with the word closer written on it. Doesn’t she know what happens to cocky girls?
I pull the door open, blind with the need to have her in my arms. I race towards her home studio, the only room left in the house. When I round the corner and see that final little black and white wonder taped to her door, I feel victorious. When I flip this one over, I can’t help but groan, fucking Willa.
This polaroid, this absolute treasure of a polaroid, shows between her hips. The garter wrapped around her waist led down where the straps dangle delicately on her open thighs. Her free hand, not taking the photo, is also in this shot, pulling her panties aside so I can see her delicious cunt. One of her fingers dances dangerously close to her clit, and a growl comes out from deep within me.
Time for your Christmas present, baby 5/5
I rip open the door to her studio and see Willa, fucking finally, the same lilac lingerie I’ve been seeing in my little gifts, draping her body. I take quick strides to get to where she’s seated on her couch and pull her into my arms. She laughs because, of course, she does as I pepper kisses along her neck, and she wraps her legs around my waist.
“Thank you for those lovely treats to come home to.” I say as I nuzzle into her ear, her signature scent of woodsy lavender washing over me. “But you’ve been a bad girl, haven’t you?” I give a playful bite against her neck. “Touching what’s mine.”
Her head rears back to look me in the eyes; hers are sparkling with mischief. I’m beyond ready to play with her. I stare straight into her eyes as I ask, “Did you come?”
Her cheeks flare red while she shakes her head no, I watch her wavy brown hair fly from side to side.
“Are you sure about that?” I place a finger under her chin to keep eye contact.
“Only once.” Willa says the sentence so fast and quietly I almost miss it. I’m sure my face has morphed into something that scares her as she quickly follows that with, “You were late and I couldn’t stop thinking about you coming home.”
“Tsk, tsk, tsk. My naughty girl couldn’t wait for me? For this?” I grind her against me and watch her head fall back. “You know what happens to bad girls like you, right? They get punished.”
There have been many firsts with her, but nothing trumps the carnal need I have for her every day. I swear I can feel my pupils dilate when I look at her. I turn and throw her on the couch where I originally found her, earning a little squeal. Willa lays on her back, propped up by her elbows, as she watches me peel my shirt off, leaving me in just my jeans. The pressure from my zipper is still intense, but I’ll have her help with it soon. Her eyes are wide as I stalk towards her.
“Get on all fours.”
Watching her comply with my demands is fucking beautiful. My strong-willed girl, listening to only me. Once she’s up, I take the empty seat in front of her.
“Come here, baby.” I watch as she crawls over to me, slow and deliberate. She keeps her head slightly down, on purpose I'm sure, and looks up at me through hooded lids. Her bangs add an extra curtain of mystery to her face; I close my eyes, trying to commit the picture to memory just like her polaroids. I hum at the thought, growing harder in my jeans. She places herself right over my lap, I open my eyes again and fuck is it a sight to behold. I grab her hands and pull them together in front of her, leaving her ass high in the air. She does a little wiggle in anticipation of what’s to come next.
“This,” I begin as I palm her ass cheek. “Is fucking mine.” I pull my hand away and bring it back quickly, a loud smack rings through the air, followed by a whine from Willa. I move my hand over to her other cheek and give her only a moment before I redden it, too. I move down and slowly trace the outline of her pussy, relishing in the noises she’s making. I find her clit through her panties and press down with force, enough for her to pay attention.
“Willa, no one makes you come but me.” My voice comes out gravelly and harsh.
“I’m sorry,” she mewls. “I couldn’t stop thinking about you.” drawing small circles under my touch, I can’t help it.
“Did my girl miss me?”
“Yes.” Willa hisses as pushes her ass higher into the air, trying to get more friction from me. I move my hand away from her clit and back to her ass, much to her dismay. I give her one more smack before I pull her up to straddle me.
She attaches her lips to mine as I pull her closer, and I start to feel her fingers fiddling with the button of my jeans. I nip at her bottom lip, which she returns by licking my upper lip until our tongues are intertwined. When I finally hear my zipper go down, I lift us quickly and kick off my pants. I can feel how wet she is through my boxers, and I can’t help but moan into her mouth. My girl is ready for me. I position us back onto the couch to hover over her while she’s on her back.
“Need to taste you,” I mumble into her lips. I start to make my way down her body, stopping over each nipple to kiss it through the fabric. “I fucking love this on you.” I capture some of the lace between my teeth and pull back.
The way Willa’s body shudders underneath my hands as I work my way down is a movement I've committed to memory. I kiss her stomach’s soft skin, loving how it feels on my lips.
“Sam, please.” She squirms underneath me. I graze my teeth on her hip, relishing in this power I have over her. Hooking my fingers on either side of her lacy underwear, I slowly graze it down her body. By the time I reach her feet, she’s practically trying to kick the fabric off of her, and a laugh escapes my lips.
“Someone’s needy after being bad, aren’t you?” I say as I place my hands on the inside of her thighs, spreading them apart. Her glistening center is ready for me; my mouth waters at the sight.
“You are so fucking beautiful, baby.” I say. I take one of my hands and spread her center with my fingers. I moan at the sight of her in front of me before I dive in. My first slow lick up her center is sweeter than honey. The taste of my girl is utter perfection. I growl as I start to lap at her pussy.
I hear mixtures of moans and “you’re doing so good” and “right there, don’t stop” coming from her. The encouragement urges me as I focus my tongue on her hard clit. I bring my finger to her entrance and hear her hiss a yes before I plunge one inside of her. Hooking my finger inside of her, I hit that delicious spot she loves.
“Be a good girl and come on my face.” I say as Willa works her way into my bun. I add one more finger inside of her and feel her come undone. She tightens around my fingers and holds my face close as she rides out her orgasm. I would suffocate on her cunt if she’d let me. I don’t stop licking and kissing her until she pushes me away.
“Sam, please.” she whines. I rise to my knees so I tower over her. Her bangs are sweaty and plastered to her forehead. Her brown eyes shine while they travel over me as she bites her bottom lip.
“And what is it that my girl wants?” I slowly position myself so my hands are on either side of her head, trapping her in my grasp. Willa’s hand grabs my aching erection, and I growl in response.
“Let me have this, please.” She pleads. I’m back on my heels, pulling my boxers down to release me before I pick her up, her legs instinctively wrapping around me. I position my cock at her entrance before pulling her down.
As soon as I feel the head of my erection pass the threshold of her sweet, warm cunt I groan into her neck as I push further inside. My hair tie is long gone now, with her hands thoroughly messing up my hair. When I finally reach the hilt, our mouths fuse together, hungry and desperate. I keep bouncing her on my cock, slick from her arousal.
Losing myself in Willa is one of my favorite pleasures in life. It feels like my girl is made for me as her pussy grasps onto me. I attach my lips to her neck, grazing lightly with my teeth. The vibrations in her throat from her moans fuck me up in the best way. Making sure my arm is securely anchored around her ass, my free hand replaces my mouth around her throat.
“Yes, Sam. Fuck yes.” She mewls as she drops her head back. I let my fingers tighten on either side of her neck as I feel her pussy tighten even more. She’s close to another orgasm, and I want it.
“Come for me. You’re so good, baby. Look at you fall apart.” Praising her between kisses and bites to her lips, she comes undone on me. I keep thrusting as she works through her orgasm, screaming unintelligible words. It’s hard not to come myself, but I’m not quite done with my girl yet.
I watch her come down from her second high as I lay her on the couch. To my dismay, and hers, I pull out. My hand immediately finds my aching cock as I give it a hard stroke. Willa’s eyes dart down to watch me.
“Back on all fours.” Her eyes snap up to me, and I can see their excitement.
“I was hoping you’d say that.” She’s quick to scramble on her hands and knees after my demand.
“Such a good girl for me.” I say as I watch her ass wiggle in the air, taunting me. I place my hands on her hips and yank her back, loving the squeal that comes from her. I waste no time lining myself back up with her sweet entrance and thrust in without warning. The noises coming from her are guttural, almost feral. I can feel her pussy tightening around me again, and this time, I want to come with her. I move one of my hands to find her clit and start rubbing it in light, rough circles.
“Sam, I’m close.” Willa says in a rush.
“Come with me, baby. Let me feel it.” And with that, my good, obedient girl falls apart under me. With her soft, warm cunt gripping my cock I have no choice but to let go and release into her. I still at the hilt as I moan her name. I stay there for a moment, stunned by the bright, hot sensation of my orgasm, until I feel my thighs start to shake.
I take my time pulling out of Willa, sitting back on the couch, and pulling her onto my lap. We’re both a sweaty mess as she curls up and rests her head on my chest. I can’t get enough of the smell of us filling the room. I take my time and rake my fingers through her hair, enjoying the feeling of my girl being so close.
I let a couple of moments of silence pass before I pick up Willa and stand, walking us to our bathroom. It’s a comfortable silence as I place her on the counter and press a single kiss to her forehead. I turn towards our shower and adjust the temperature, knowing she likes the water to be borderline scalding. I’ve learned to enjoy it. I set up two towels for us on our heater so they’ll be warm by the time we’re done. Before I get us into our steamy escape, I run back to our bedroom to grab my cell phone. Picking the playlist I’ve called Birdie 🤍, I hit shuffle.
Soft music fills the bathroom, and I watch as her eyes shut in satisfaction. When I’m finally ready, I turn towards my girl and stand between her legs.
“C’mere,” I say as I wrap my arms around her waist again. She latches on like always, and I walk us into the warm shower. I let the water hit her back first, slow and steady. When she’s ready, she puts her feet on the ground. Selfishly, this is my favorite part of aftercare.
Her brown eyes look up at me, the flecks of gold shining so bright as I add shampoo to my hands and lather her hair. Her hums of approval and eyes fluttering shut make my heart melt. I keep going, making sure to drag my fingers against her scalp. Without speaking, she takes a step back to engulf herself in the water fully. I watch as the suds rinse down her body, over her pert nipples and soft stomach. I reach out to have her body in my hands, just to touch some part of her. The smile that graced her lips told me she wanted that, too, and I gripped my girl a little tighter.
I take my time with the soapy washcloth over her body, making sure to get every curve of her. I’ve committed every little piece of her body to memory.
I do the same to myself once I’ve finished soaping her up and rinsing her off. Willa watches me with sleepy eyes from the other side of the shower. I turn off our steamy oasis and grab our towels, wrapping her up first. I tie the towel around my waist and guide her out of the shower. I lean myself against the counter, where she collapses into me.
“Thank you for the gift today, Birdie. It was perfect.”
“I hope you’re ready to have this tradition every year.” Fuck, if I don’t fall more in love with my girl when she says that.
With a kiss on her forehead, I mumble, “Absolutely.”
