One of my favorite Ruby faces because she just...looks so genuinely angry. We've never ssen this before man. And it is WONDERFUL. It does everything it should and tells you all you need to know.

Another one of my favorite faces. She looks so determined here and slightly pissed off. It's such a combination and I love it. And she actually manages to actually use her silver eyes intentionally.

To this day my favorite volume 8 dumb discourse was that at Risk, Winter wasn't going to switch to RWBY's side when you literally can see the moment when she mentally does lmao. She had her doubts all along and was struggling all volume, but when Ironwood tells her that he isn't bluffing about bombing Mantle? You can see how shocked and horrified she is, and then when he starts walking away, her expression changes and she's watching him like a fucking hawk. She'd come right then and there to the same conclusion as Marrow: that Ironwood had gone too far and they were both fucking done with him and this bullshit. The difference is that she didn't snap, like Marrow did. Then she proceeded to save Marrow's life when Ironwood tried to shoot him and safely got him and herself the hell out of there. It was so obvious that I still don't get how people REALLY believed she was still on Ironwood's side lmao.

The only way I'll accept a Penny Revival is if Jaune is instrumental to it.

Not just because I'm a Jaune fan, but because it also make the most sense both character and lore wise.

Jaune specifically has a LOT of aura, and can pass it on to others using his semblance, and when using his semblance, it seems he can simply regenerate it like when anyone else uses their aura in their semblances.

He also had to kill her. He didn't really have a choice, because she was already dying and at least he could let Penny choose the next Maiden. And it shattered him as a person, and he lost so many others.

It'd only make sense for Penny's Revival to require Jaune in some way (Don't fucking kill Jaune for it though. That would upset me more than if he isn't necessary for Penny to come back)

But then part of the issue is that part of Jaune's healing is letting go of the guilt he feels for the people that have died around him, and understanding he didn't really have a choice in killing Penny because every alternative was worse, BUT LET'S NOT THINK ABOUT THAT.
