Locus is a red and you cannot change my mind on this (sarge called dibs during s12 the second wash wasnt looking) and Junior gets blue team privilege

“Where alpha church and tex” sorry im a red i only stuck with the blue that survive epsilon excluded (meaning i dont like how alpha church came out and i’m going to keep tweaking him and tex until i like them okay)

The reason red team Locus works so well is because he's like what Church was in the early seasons, the guy going what the fuck along with you but not actually trying that hard to stop anything. He's the perfect straight man for the reds in a way red team Carolina can't be because he has practically no authority over them and she does. She's just a tad bit too serious for the reds and they need their creative juices to flow even if the Warthog is set on fire in the process. But Locus is the person who stands there in a daze as the reds just hand him things to hold for their schemes having no clue how he even got there in the first place. He goes along with the plan and hopes he can at least stop someone from dying or getting horribly wounded and that's all the matters

Also the reds just need their weird little guy and he fulfills that perfectly thanks

it's actually insane to me how many rvb fans have only gotten into the show in the past like 2 years. looking at the survey results so far is breaking my brain i think because 2022-2024 is in the top three for that question currently. like in the time between zero/family shatters and restoration there was practically NOTHING happening with the series what do you mean this many people STARTED watching it then?? also i see so many people on my dash who are like "watching for the first time i'm on season 6 teehee" HELLO?? should-should i tag for spoilers on my rvb posts??

Wasn’t able to sign up for the RvB secret Santa this year since I was too overworked. But seeing everyone post such awesome stuff inspired me to at least do a little red team sketch ❤️

the best part abt rvb is how serious the creators were from the very start about literally everything EXCEPT the plot

they really just spent hours and hours recording and editing and producing and their plot was… people talk and then church dies and his gf shows up and then she dies

and it STILL launched a massive influential inspiring 21 year long show/company

north is sometimes less than confident in his masculinity but it’s less like… embarrassment over being feminine specifically and more a worry about having his power undermined.

he’s already taking the more “feminine” role a lot of the time what with being support/caretaker/the mom etc. and i think he does like this role a lot and is not ashamed of it! but the way he wields it is like… the character in this role is often treated as submissive and north is definitely not that. he’s a caretaker yes but he’s positioned more as a protector, the “masculine” version of that role. he’s using this position as a way to be dominant and controlling. taking care of you = having control over you.

and so things that are cutesy or girly are like… they can undermine this position. and i think he gets insecure about that. if he’s wearing the cat ears it’s like. he’s wearing them the way a “girldad” joins in the tea party. it’s not something he “enjoys” it’s like. he’s lowering himself to establish dominance? he’s so in control of the situation he’s willing to “give up” control and make himself seem weaker. but only while he thinks it’s still clear that he is the one with the control. does any of this make sense

krita says 4 hours and 40 mins for this one! makes sense given that I sketched it in about an hour, then did all the rendering the next day (save for a few details I finished up today).
