Where do the years go? The first is the hobby of a bored teenager replaying childhood games while seeking comfort. The second is spent finding new friends who share the same interests. The third wants to grow, but from a clean slate. The fourth wonders if the risk was worth it. The fifth struggles with life choices, seeking comfort from what is now a long-term project. The sixth is spent mourning the loss of a parent. The seventh begins to pick up the pieces, and the eighth begins to flourish. The ninth marks the beginning of a new stability and the tenth... I realize I'm no longer young enough to pretzel my body in my chair without consequences.

There's not much new to say about what On Borrowed Time means to me that I didn't already say in the 9th anniversary piece, but I continue to be grateful about what this silly little fanfiction has brought to me over the years. To readers old and new, I'm excited to continue this journey with you! Let's just hope it doesn't take another 10 years, haha

3. HOURS. AND 10. MINUTES. Nothing but me gushing over finally seeing it finally done however. Distorting at the seams and coming with so many lags and issues at the end, it seemed like I was On Borrowed Time when Ibis crashed upon me rescaling it, but here we are!

Shenanigans Galore! Rune the Alolan Vulpix, Malachi the partly-evo'd Shinx, Dielle the Thunderclap Meowth, and Inigo the Pouched Nidoran are ALL from Wooled's On Borrowed Time, and quite frankly, this is for OBT's BK2 Fanart feature!

'Meza' the Eevee, Zoe the Poochyena, and Sapphire the Bairuian Poochyena are all from my comic Times of Distortion. Cincere the Gemstone Espeon is from Sparks of Life: Universal Curiosities, which might get a comic after ToD's done, if I remember that promise.

To explain what everyone's doing: Meza and Rune are chatting about their reactions after waking up. Malachi is chasing Zoe because she took the scarf (Maelstrom is not in there don't worry). Dielle is just curious about what Cincere (who was sleeping prior) is. And Saph and Inigo are talking about D&D (or MD) stuff. ...anyways if i have time i might draw Keaton and Wigglytuff for this too, probably like a weird photo album of them.

A New Dawn (The Grand Tale That Never Was)

Now representing, for the uptenth time, the legendary grand tale that won me a whopping fifth place by accurately predicting two events that had yet to come at the time in the first ever fan art feature for @pmdobt / @ask-obt , a Pokemon Mystery Dungeon Explorers of Sky Nuzlocke inspired fan comic written by @woo-led! For the first time ever you can now read A New Dawn in all it's original glory on A03, featuring exclusive artwork by yours truly and a one of a kind postcard from everyone's favorite pair of pokepals!

Book 1: Born Yesterday Fan Art Feature

A New Dawn

“Farewell Rune, I would have never made it this far if I hadn’t been blessed with a friend like you. Although the parting hurts…….I……..leave…………..”  The sands of time swirled around the fading Shinx as flashes of blush, celeste , and emerald  were swept under the grainy waves below. “No….” thought Rune as she swiftly plummeted back into the past, back to where her nightmares began. “Not now, not when I finally found my way!” Her vision started to slowly fade to black as she pleaded “Please…..I don’t want to be lost!” to no avail, she was already lost once more or so she thought.  “Naomi.” resonated a gentle voice throughout her eardrums amongst the sound of waves. “My new champion you must rise!” echoed another voice as the clawed palm of the first carefully rubbed along the soft icy back of the Alolan Vulpix that currently rested on the sand. Slowly opening her eyes, Rune found herself in front of a Grovyle, whom currently had Maelstrom wrapped around his shoulders, standing alongside a familiar shore, wait wasn’t this? Yes it was!! This was the same beach where she awoke lost without her memories, where she………..”I’m sorry about your teammate.” Dante said in an attempt to console his old friend as she starred at the soft orange tinted sand with a mix of sorrow, bewilderment, and relief in her eyes. He just looked upon her with a frown as he tenderly wrapped the flash scarf of the now departed Malachi, the abstract grooves etched across Maelstrom briefly flickered a flash of blue but she too remained silent. “I’m sure you have quest-“ but Rune merely interrupted him by flatly stating “Many but this isn’t the place to talk.” Gesturing for him to follow, the trio carefully navigate their way up Sharpedo Bluff unseen as the sun sets on the horizon.  Dielle let out an exasperated sigh as she collapsed atop the bed she had made for herself after an exhausting day on the job. “Them Mimikyu sure know how to give a Meowth a run for her money but it was all worth it for this.” Sapphire shined from the badge perfectly snug between electric claws as Dielle admired Team Maelstrom’s newfound mark of the Diamond rank. “If only the three of you were here to see how far we’ve come, I’m sure you’d be proud.” She let out a sigh of sorrow before her ears perked up at the sound of foot steps and speak of the Impidimp guess who waltzed right into their team base. “RUNE I CAN’T BELIEVE IT!!!!” Dielle exclaimed as she practically pounced upon her, holding her in a tight embrace. “The whole guild searched everywhere but no matter how hard we looked no one could find hide nor hair of you, everyone assumed the worse had happened, how are you even here? Where’s-“ she trailed off as a perturbed look washed over her features at the sight of Dante. Whipping her head towards the Vulpix for answers Rune quietly states “I believe we have a lot of catching up to do” with eyes of Gloom.

WEW I GOT TO MAKE MORE OBT FANART!

Been a hot minute since the last time I drew somethin' for the comic (that wasn't a horrible shitpost; if you're reading this wooled i am so sorry LOL), and it was really nice to participate in an event like this! ^^

I had only learned about the event on October 3rd, so I didn't have much time to get something big done with my stupid crazy schedule, but I'm very happy I got to still make something! :> Requiem introducing aura to Rune was a sight to behold in the comic; I hope I did the moment justice!

先日のアプデでルーン販売NPCが実装されました。

IDなどで集めたルーンを、ソケットの空いてる武器や装備に装着出来ます。

取り外しも自由。種類は攻撃力増加とか色々あるみたいです。

ルーンの強化は NPCから強化補助アイテムを購入して

同じルーンを２つと補助アイテムと合成します。

＋いくつかまでは（よく覚えていないｗ）失敗しないらしいです。

Question for Rune:

How do you take out and take care of your never-melt earnings? I'm just curious because the build of your paws look like they might get in the way (no thumbs).

Rune: ... I'm supposed to take them out?

Yohann: Ew-! What?! You haven't cleaned them a single time?!

Rune: It's news to me! I thought piercings just kinda... stayed there?

Yohann: So you let them get infected and never thought to take them out? I gave you instructions right after piercing them!

Rune: I thought that was for if they got infected! Which they didn't?? They just got really sore and red for a few days after you pierced them, but I figured that's because there was a big hole in my ears. They're fine now.

Yohann: That's what an infection is!!

Rune: I think she would, but alas... she'd accidentally eat me thinking I was merely a tasty snack on the ground.

Dielle: That was one time!! It's not my fault it looked just like a Gummi!

It's very fortunate that battle bonding does not cause participating members to share their senses. Imagine if Rune had to taste Dielle's garbage floor sandwich.

Rune: I don't think I'd live to tell the tale. Unless battle bonding gives me her iron stomach, too.
