"Awh, you really tried hard, didn't'cha? Tried so hard to escape... and then when you got backed into a corner, there wasn't anything you could do, hah!"

-> She ignores the pleas, the begging for mercy... she would never give it to anyone just like that. In her eyes, mercy is boring. Whether it's letting a person go, or ending things then and there so they don't have to face drawn-out agony, she doesn't see a reason for it. She prefers to let time do the work for her while she watches, covered in crimson blood and able to view another's exposed flesh. And in the meantime, she'll keep up with her taunting and cruel remarks, just to drive home the pain.

I'm going through the document @remmushound and I have been transferring our RP to, and I found a really sweet scene between Rise Donatello and Bayverse Donnie. Rise Donatello has constructed a brand new body for Shelldon and is proudly showing Bay Donnie. In this context, the Shredder's attack on the lair resulted in Oroku Saki and Karai both being brought into the physical lair after Bay Mikey did an astral plane energy thing.

Donnie was attentive as ever, but really all he could do was coo and trill happily, and with each listed benefit he looked it over carefully.

“What do you think?” Donatello asked, hands clasped as he gave a nervous whine.

Donnie took one last thorough look, then sat back on his heels. "I'm in awe. This is incredibly advanced robotics. You're amazing, Don."

Donatello looked almost ready to cry, bouncing with the praise before he was able to contain himself and try to play it cool.

“Yeh, I knew I was good. Totally didn’t need affirmation or whatever. Psshh.”

"Awww. C'mere." Donnie held out an arm.

Donatello immediately dropped the facade and did a trust-fall into Donnie’s arm.

Donnie brought him close to his body and squished him. "Yeah you did. You deserve affirmation. You always have."

Donatello squinted his eyes closed and practically melted into the hold. “I was starting to think it was stupid…”

"No!" Genuine shock colored Donnie's mournful tone. "What? No! Never!"

“I’m not usually… really good with robotics. Sheldon’s the only thing I’ve made that hasn’t constantly fallen apart.”

"Really? I wouldn't have thought that at all."

“Well it's true. I couldn’t even fix a performance robot without messing it up." Donatello frowned.

"Heck, my drone isn't perfect, either," Donnie admitted. "Shelldon is a marvel of engineering."

“I mean— when he started out, he was just a head. Then he turned out… you know, sapient, and I felt bad for not giving him more.” More frowning.

Donnie stared at Donatello with glittering eyes. "Donnie... that's extraordinary. Do you realize that?"

“What?” Donatello looked back up at him finally.

Donnie engulfed the smaller turtle, murmuring, "You're extraordinary. I'm going to keep telling you that."

“Good, cause I love hearing it.”

Donnie pulled back to gaze at him. "Good. I need to hear you say that."

“That.” Donatello echoed. “There, it is said.”

Donnie grinned, then laughed. "Fantastic.

“Yes! Yes I am!”

"Yes you are!"

“Yeee!” Donatello gave a happy wiggle. “I still wanna do some final touches and double check the wires before I show it to Shelldon though.”

"I'd love to help!"

“Yaaay!" Donatello cackled "The first phase of world Don-Mination!”

"Say that around my Raph, he'll take it seriously. Mikey and I joke about it enough."

“Wanna try and convince him it’s real?”

"Hmmm." Donnie slowly tapped his chin. "Yes. I'm just immediately going through potential funniest scenarios."

“We’ll share with the class, don’t be stingy!”

Donnie rattled off ideas on all his fingers. "...although, no zombies, he hates that."

“Darn. What about skeletons? Do those count as zombies?”

"Hmmno. Because they're bones. No flesh to fall off."

“Great. I love loopholes!” Donatello spun a few times and then fell backward onto his bed.

Nightmare's Edge

After a cute little rp I decided to write another mini fic! With Winter and Penny! I just adore them together! Love them as a sudo Mother-Daughter type of relationship!

TW: Death, Nightmare, Spoilers for Vol. 3

Darkness was all that she could see, nothing was what she could feel, and silence was all she could hear. But every so often her vision would come to life, but it was even worse than the darkness, Pyrrha’s horrified expression, The fearful look within Ruby and Ciel’s eyes. The deep enjoyment on Emeralds face and the disappointment she saw etched into General Ironwood’s face.

Then there was the pain that came in short beats, each of her limbs sliced apart as if she was just thrown into a shredder. There was no blood or organs that fell, but metallic parts that clattered to the ground… and then everything returned to darkness once more as if she never even existed in the first place and the sound of panic was all that was left within her ears.

“No… No… This… Can’t… it’s… can’t be… the end… Please - No! Don’t leave ME” She’d yelled out as her body jolted up right, knocking her blankets and stuffed animals off herself, some bouncing against the floor. Sweat drenched the sheets and Penny’s back as her eyes gazed around the room in a panic. She would swallow hard and place a hand over her racing heart trying to calm herself down when she heard a soft knock followed by the door opening… “Penny…? Are you alright? I heard you…” Winter’s words faltered once she saw Penny.

She would move closer to the bed, taking a seat beside her as she placed a hand atop of Penny’s head, lightly rubbing her head “I take it you had another nightmare Penny?” Winter would ask, her voice was soft and tender. Penny would give a nod before she leaned into Winter, wrapping her arms tightly around the woman's waist.

“It… felt so real… like I was dying again… it felt… so cold and dark…” Penny couldn’t stop the tears from trickling down her cheeks. “But dying wasn’t the worst bit… it was the fact everyone left me… they just abandoned my body there… as if I didn't even matter to anyone” Her grip tightened on Winter as she spoke… “Why… Why did everyone just leave me?.... Why did you leave me, Winter?... was I just… not good enough?” She didn’t normally speak upon her past trauma’s as she just hated to think about them, she only ever wanted to think of the positives and the best of people but after becoming human… It was far harder to ignore those memories and feelings.

Winter held Penny close, her arms wrapped around the smaller girl like a protective blanket. “There is no excuse for our actions, there were a lot of unknowns at the time and a lot of chaos…” She was foolish to think Penny was always fine and that she didn’t have any lasting trauma from the past events that occurred. “I do apologize for not taking into consideration the mental toll you’re… first death would cause for you… But I promise you it will never happen again, so long as I’m here beside you… I’ll ensure you won’t be alone”

“...thank…you…” Penny mumbled, hearing that Winter was sorry and that she would be here for her regardless of what happens brought a great sense of relief to Penny. But she also felt safe, and that safety allowed her to relax in Winter’s arms, her eyes growing heavier and heavier. Her breathing would slow to a steady rhythm as she once more fell asleep.

Winter sighed, running her fingers through Penny’s hair as she looked down at her sleeping face. “I swear to you… I won’t let you die again” She whispered, kissing the girl's forehead before she laid back into Penny’s bed, deciding to stay with her for the night. If she can provide her even a little comfort while she slept, it was worth it.

Based off an RP [ maybhaps au ] Headcanon where Mikey’s a traumagenic system and Dr Feelings (Milo) + Delicate Touch (Miles) are alters. Milo fragmented during the demo derby and fully formed after Shredder; Miles formed after Kraang. ]

They’re both brain-made since they’re based off Mikey’s alter ego stuff, however Milo’s base source is *meant* to be Mikey— so I think that would make him a factive(?). He’s got source memories for his own brothers n family and they were, not great sorry Milo. The design for him is what he looks like in headspace + how Donnie would react to seeing his shell bc it is FUCKED UP.

First 2 doodles were before I decided on a design.

I’m trying to be super careful w/ my system representation (after all, I’m not a system) so feel free to educate me if I portray something incorrectly.

Mikey says they’re matching bc after Shredder he went on a solo mission (Donnie was sick n Raph and Leo were fighting so he didn’t wanna ask them) and long story short got his shell stomped and thrown into the Hudson (obvious he lived, n Draxy patched him up). He paints over the cracks to cover them up bc he never told anybody
